"Now. Thomas Fluff Sean Junior, who is the attorney for Portsmouth police chief Angela Green, Or should I say former police chief Angela Green? Thomas. Thank you for joining us. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, So your client lost her job. But now she has an attorney. Why does she need an attorney? Well, one of the interesting aspects of this case is my client. Angela Green is a African American woman who was the police chief in a racially divided city in the city of Port Smith, Ironically, and one of the aspirations of the civil rights movement is that we were supposed to have or moved toward a racially neutral society. And in that position with that in mind as part of her job and taking oath, hold the Constitution and the laws of Virginia. My client arrested certain political advocates and political leaders within the city of Portsmouth. Actually, she didn't arrest them. She sought charges against them, and those charges were approved by a magistrate. For defacing public monuments in destroying public money. This in the city of Portsmouth, and as a consequence of her arresting certain people in the political power structure. She was originally placed on administrative leave, and then she was terminated. She has an attorney to explore and eventually bring an action for wrongful termination because, despite being an at will employment, Virginia law recognizes exceptions that will doctrine which means that you cannot fire someone in retaliation for them upholding the law. And you can't fire someone for refusing to disobey the law by a new order of someone who that might be their administrative superior. So she has an action for wrongful termination because all she did was enforced the law You know this all stems from the a June 10th protest in Portsmouth when Aziz you as you mentioned Essentially, rioting was going on in the destruction of Confederate monuments in Portsmouth. There is video evidence to support the police chief's claims here, including that state Senator Louise Lucas was out telling the cops not to stop the writers. From destroying the statue and encouraging the writers to continue on with destroying the statue. And that's saying that she had the blessings. I believe of the city manager to tell them that they could do that on. So police chief Angela Green Saut. These charges against not only sent not only senator always Lucas, but also several members of the local n double A C P chapter as well as a local school board member. All apparently involved And either encouraging or actively destroying the statute. I have that right you do. One of the interesting things about this is it's very clear. A city manager doesn't own city property. A city managers, the trustee of city property, and what Chief Green did is she assigned a task force within the police force. To look at the law. Originally they asked the state police or some other outside agency to take a look at this incident to see if there were violations, and they declined, so her task force looked at the law. Look at the actions and said Look, this is city property. It is a crime to the face damage or destroy sitting property. We have people who are acting in concert or conspiracy to do so. We also have people on video who actually used sledgehammers or paint and so forth, and she went to a magistrate who is the judicial officer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and said You're on my fax. Here's where I believe that there is a violation of the law. And if you agree with me, we'd like you to issue warrants. And she did that and was immediately placed on admin Leave because of enforcing the law. So this now, obviously we know why she has an attorney. What is your goal here? Do you want to get her back on the job? Are you looking for damages? What's the goal here? That that hasn't been fully articulated. Ideally, she left the very I think of and helped lead and create and form a very competent police force in the city. Of course, Smith she has a significant amount of support from her officers, and if there were an opportunity to be placed back On the job. I think she would welcome the consideration of that. The difficulty is that there's now been a political change in Portsmouth as a result of the elections and that typically the chief of police reports directly to the city manager and Administratively works for the city manager and that will position so the city manager can have their own chief of police. I don't know if the city manager wants to explore that. However, we do have issues where she has been defamed by this action where her business or professional integrity has been compromised. She doesn't want to be looking for other positions where there is a potential cloud that she has been terminated. She needs to correct her name. So I think part of the action of perhaps of defamation per se, is to clear her name and then to the extent that any jury would find that she has been damaged to seek damages. He certainly has lost pay since the time she's been terminated until she gets a new position. You know, I find it interesting again. We're talking to Thomas puffed in junior Who's the attorney for the recently fired Portsmouth police chief Angela Green You mentioned at the outset that Angela Green is a black woman and something I've noticed in the news coverage of all of this is that is rarely mentioned. The fact that she's a black woman is basically left out of most of the available news coverage on this story. And I think that's an important detail, especially because there are people who are alleging that the only reason a black senator was arrested for defacing this monument in Portsmouth was because there was some sort of racial inclination to arrest her. But that is a lot harder to believe when you know that the police chief in question is herself black. Well, what, even more importantly on this is that I mentioned at the beginning. Vince is that if we're trying to move toward a race neutral society, you never know in any of the coverage, And I still don't know Angela Greene's personal views on Confederate statutes with climb some repugnant or anything else. She was a sworn officers formed or hold the law and in the race neutral society. It doesn't matter if she's black, green, purple or yellow. And it doesn't mean a race neutral society of the perpetrator of the crime is black, green, purple or yellow. That shouldn't matter either. That's what is very disconcerting, though, is that people are alleging that these perpetrators Who a magistrate found that there was probable cause to issue a warrant should not have been charged because of their race. That doesn't help us move to a race neutral society and Angela Green. I think you're right. It's a very ironic situation. A competent professional black woman has been dismissed. For upholding the law because she had the courage and the sense of duty to bring charges against people, regardless of their race, Creed, political affiliation, etcetera. What she she had problem caused bring charges because of Lettuce crimes. Yeah, we have about 30 seconds here, but I wonder how hard it's going to be for her to move elsewhere in Virginia. When you have people like the former governor term, a call of tweeting our hero Louise Lucas and her fellow proud Portsmouth. Citizens deserve our admiration. Gratefulness. Despicable political persecution is over. You know, making your client the bad guy. You know, politicians. There's an old phrase that you know. How do you tell the politician is lying? Their lips were moving, but you know, I maybe I shouldn't have said that. But I'm not really worried about politicians. But the point is, is that we're going to hope that other jurisdictions in the Commonwealth and throughout the country are going to look at the integrity that this the chief Green acted with. And say, that's the kind of leader we want in our force. She wasn't afraid of hold the law and we want people who can apply the law equally and without prejudice, and hopefully that's going to be big Selling point is, she seeks to place yourself elsewhere or even gets reconsidered. Enforcement were to reconsider their position. We'll just we we got and we have to let you go. But we got a note from an anonymous alleged member of the rank and file in Fairfax, who said their police chief is leaving and they were Love to have her. At least the rank and file would so well and she'll look at all opportunities..

"707 w m a l where Washington comes to talk coming up this morning. 7 45 Julie Donaldson will join us from the Washington football team. 805. We're joined by Thomas Collection Jr. He's an attorney for the Portsmouth Police chief just fired Angela Green. She's the woman who dared to arrest powerful people for destroying her city. So they destroyed her. Then at 8 35. Joe Degenova will be with us. He's on the president's legal team. Lot of questions for Joe joining us on a rare Friday appearance on Vince Colonies with Mary Walter. Good morning help. Everyone's having a wonderful Friday. Joining us now is Liz Harrington. She's a spokesperson for the RNC lives. Welcome back to mornings on the mall. It's great to have you Hey, thanks for having me. Good morning. We're going to talk about the presser yesterday with Trump's legal team, the president's legal team, but one thing that I wanted to to start off with just cause I want to make sure we get it in is the president has invited leaders of Michigan's state Legislature Republican controlled to meet him today in Washington. I'm curious is to find out why he would have invited them to meet with him. Yeah, well, I think you have a situation in Michigan and we put out a video. Just look for yourself of the threat that people are under just for simply standing up and saying, Hey, wait a 2nd. 72% of precincts Don't match. Don't see See how there's any way we can certify these results. I don't know the details of this meeting and what will take place, But I know the president is aware of what's going on in this country right now, and we're gonna fight every single place We need to for the truth and like Sidney Powell said yesterday. Not be intimidated. I mean, if you have people, Doc sing. You have Democrats. Doc sing their opponents, Children, maybe some things on the up and up here because why would you do that? It's absolutely appalling and disgusting. What's going on, and I'm so glad that they signed affidavits and said This was Pressure is the threats. They lied and said they were gonna audit this and fix this because you have so many different precincts where there's war votes than registered voters and 72% don't match. Well, they they're pursuing the truth, so I would imagine it. It's along those lines, but you can rest assured that Legal team is pursuing all of this as well. You know it and I agree with you. The behavior's been contemptible, especially the idea of threatening anybody's family over any of this is just preposterous and And not the kind of behavior we expect out of any official in any level of government. Additionally, although many of the concerns that the president's legal team have raised are definitely a big deal, including making sure that people have access to watching ballots that concerned about the security of mail in ballots. Lots of great questions there. But I have a question that I feel like I'm sorting through as I listened to everybody who speaks on behalf of the president at every level, and I want to ask you as well was, you know, One of the concerns I have is some people in the Trump team like Sidney Power, for instance, are saying explicitly that the president won in a landslide that this election was Stolen from him. Others seem to be saying a little bit more cautiously that we're looking into the sanctity the integrity of our election to ensure that whoever the voters actually picked is the guy who takes the Oval Office in January. Where are you on this was do you believe that the election was stolen or we have to stay at the stage where we're looking into the integrity of the election. Well, I think both can be true to same time. Let's look at the integrity of the results and the evidence that I've seen the evidence before my eyes. On election night. The president was on his way to a landslide victory. Something happened overnight. Where was seriously every single one of these cities would in states where Democrats needed the votes, they shut down the voting. Look, I want the truth to be known, and I do believe I have no reason to not believe Sydney pal. She's the one responsible for getting the Justice Department to drop charges because they framed the Obama administration reigned. A three star general. She's been right about that. She was right about Arthur Andersen. She won nine to nothing in the Supreme Court. I've read the affidavit from the Venezuelan military. Person who said This is the same system. I have no reason to doubt that I mean, people come to this with different opinions and thoughts. But all I know it's you know, if you have eyes to see and ears to hear what I saw is a red wave 27 out of 27 house. Toss up races all went Republican the most votes. In history for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans for this Republican president. I believe there's I'd have no reason to doubt doubts. Any town that means 80 million American patriots are on our side. And sharing what they did yesterday. I guess the question is, is the case being made that our system is merely vulnerable? Or we outright declaring this election was stolen for President Trump? That's that's really the question because I can see where, like, you know, the city power raises the issue of Hey, this voting system was used in Venezuela. It was corrupted and Hugo Chavez used it in order to turn votes. I heard her make that case and she, she says she has this this affidavit, of course, from this top military official in Venezuela to support it, But then it's a whole another step to say then it was definitely used in the United States to steal the election from Donald Trump. Right, And I think that's what they're going to prove. I mean, that's what they're gonna prove in federal court because there is a process here and you know, everyone can come at this from their own opinion, right? But certain things just do not make a logical friends and there will the numbers of the end of the day won't lie and then numbers to me what we're seeing what the president's been posting these 100,000 votes swings for Joe Biden. That's not people making things up. That's going on the real time data. In real time with the Dominion Systems that were reported to the New York Times and seeing for themselves and everyone needs to ask themselves really the guy who couldn't fill up six circles. It's a campaign event that put a lid on his entire campaign that 80 million votes. I mean, it's just unheard of and find, you know, believe what you want, But let's prove it and I believe we will. And I believe there are a lot of very ticked off freedom loving Americans that went out to the polls on election day, and they know what's going on, and we know what's going on. This isn't a coincidence that this happened in all the places. The Democrats needed votes to prop up to abide and that's why the 72% precinct don't match..

"Him from the RNC or recap of the election Update. Where are we? 7 45 Julie Donaldson With a preview of this weekend's game, the Washington football team at 805, the attorney for Portsmouth police chief Angela Green, Thomas Clough. Some will be with us she was fired. She says it was politically motivated. Let's find out. At 8 35 Joe Degenova. He is a member of Trump's campaign legal team. He was at that presser yesterday, and I'm sure he has a lot to say. There's a lot of questions on Mary Walter has Vince colonies. Good morning to you. A lot of people attacking the president for guarantee even ask questions about the integrity of our election system by way of that legal team again as we talk to Joe later this morning in the eight o'clock hour But among the president's critics were not just Democrats in the media. There's also Republicans and as usual, if you were going to guess which Republican senator would be the one to attack Donald Trump. For undermining democracy. You would be right if you thought it was one. Willard Mitt Romney, Hey, is out yet again, attacking the president overnight in a tweet last night 10:36 p.m. in the evening, he said this quote. Having failed to make even a plausible case of widespread fraud or conspiracy before any court of law. The president is now resorted to overpressure on state and local officials to subvert the will of the people and overturn the election. It is difficult to imagine a worse, more undemocratic action by a sitting American president is difficult to imagine a worse, more undemocratic action. Bias sitting American president Now there's a whole bunch of questions bagged by a statement like that, among them was paying attention to the presidential transition from Obama to Trump who, first of all. Secondly, how is it undemocratic to use the courts? Audit the integrity of an election. I thought that was a fulfillment of our democratic cause in order to use one of the branches of government dedicated To assessing these constitutional questions. If you're using it for that, for its prescribed reason would that not be a fulfillment of our republic rather than a rejection of a Trump is not declaring victory and going to plan his tail in the Oval Office. No matter what, At least that has not happened yet. A strong as I can tell, he's saying I'm taking to this for the course. We're gonna do a real challenge. Mary. What do you think The game plan is for Mitt Romney, Like I think at this point, he is kind of a man without an island. You know, man without a country the Republicans don't like. Remember they had some kind of Republican. It's a meeting or something. And he wasn't invited. And it was everyone but mchm, a Romney and he was allowed to take, um to the cool kid party. And that was because of things that he had said and done about the president. Right. And and so they said, Well, no, you're not coming. You you don't That was it, So he wasn't there? And and he's I mean, if he thinks that by doing stuff like this, the report the Democrats are gonna welcome him. I don't see that happening either. Think they'll use him. If they think they can. They'll use him, But I don't think it's a real friendship. Those kids really aren't your friends, Mitt. They really don't like you. They're laughing at you, and they're using you. Yet is it is sort of Romney's, uh, perpetual Problem in the sense that he is show desperate to be loved by the establishment that he constantly tries to sing from their hymnal, right? What was give member the last year during our this year rather him and tell how time passes this year earlier this year during the summer in the midst of riots that were racking American cities. And the destruction that was being wrought in the lives that were being told about America and racism. All of these things what Mitt Romney do But Romney got out on the street and what and participated as a black lives matter. Protestors. That's right. Remember that thought about that. It was just like Romney, a Mormon from Utah, the Black lives matter. Protestors, the visuals just hilarious. I mean, yeah, he's a Mormon. Mormons are for big, big, happy, healthy families and, like the Black Lives matter, Movement website says out loud. That we need to disrupt the the Western nuclear family. We need to dismantle that the Western nuclear family What are you doing, dude? Somewhere in you. There are our principles, right? Find them again and huge towards them rather than suck up to people who do not like you. And his merry said will never accept you. And regardless who who stray away from the things that are important Now, now we just just very quickly. Do you think that he just embraces being the outsider now, like fine, you're not going to let me you know, play with you. I'm just gonna be the outsider and I'm just gonna become happy being the outsider and that's just who I am. And so he just antagonizes people even more. He just wants to be an establishment insider. He has been his whole career. I mean, this whole thing with like Bain Capital was basically you know, he was an elite establishment figure they they bought up troubled companies. They fired. Everybody sold off the assets, You know, I mean to make to turn a profit. He's pretty baked into establishment world and he has been his whole career. He got rich being establishment, and now he's trying to do it as a sitting member of the United States Senate, Um He's in many ways actually kind of right out of central casting of the types of people that Donald Trump ran against to become president of the United States and its good appointment and and anyway, my point until all of this is look, if you want to criticize the president you can. There's always ways that you confined to criticize him. It is preposterous to go to the hyperbolic levels of saying that he's doing something the most undemocratic action. By a sitting American president. This is just ridiculous levels of rhetoric. And and I respect people who say Okay, don't get out there and say the election was stolen. If you don't have the evidence to support it yet, or you haven't made your case to the public, or having presented that that's important, But should the election be audited? Absolutely. Should we check to make sure things went the way they should? Yes. Are there systems that we've quite obviously found that are broken in our country The way we handle elections, definitely, And they should be fixed. As quickly as we possibly can s. Oh, Mitt Romney prematurely coming out and you know, throwing the white flag up and simultaneously saying Trump has done something horrific. Um, is a little much I would say. Yeah, I absolutely agree with you. It's 5 43 w male Shenandoah Kitchen and home makes farm tables that her prized hand signed an heirloom quality. Their cables are.

"As I would any nominee as part of a sham. It was intimate process. Rushed through the Senate, barely A month before the election. When Americans are actually voting in 11 states already That may not be unreasonable. But the Constitution sets up to standards to get on the court. One is the president has to make a nomination on to is that you have to have a Senate that will accept that nomination and agree with that nomination and 15 times in the history of the country when there's been a justice a vacancy in an election year, and when the president and the Senate were in political agreement, they almost always Fulfill the the two obligations and if they weren't they almost never did. So what would the deadline be the president? I said when President Obama made his nomination that not only would he want to make a nomination, but was probably constitutionally obligated to make an obligation and the other half of that. Necessary formula just wasn't there to get that done, And now it is there. I did see wonder woman. It's so bad ass. I loved wonder woman off debt. How old my kids have to be to see wonder woman? I watched it a second time with that in mind because there is shooting and there is people getting killed. It's not gruesome or graphic but there is that kind of what is the agers some sexual innuendo. Yeah well there Holland since media. We all we all do that. Guys this is not an ad for common sense media but it could be should be. I'd give one. Here's a free one common sense media for parents in check it out rate. It's great they kind of go through movies and sort of talk about the content of an age recommendation. Yeah well there you go. That's earned. That took a strange turn. Yeah we were talking about Linda the Drug Tester. Dwight is asking her. Hey Remember me nice to see you. And she's like I just a lot of people aren't yeah dude. I do this a lot. And he's like yeah but mine was green. She's like Oh yes. How are you doing? And he's like I'm better well. We got a lot of male about that. We did about green urine. Oh Angela Green urine is very rare. Okay I investigated it. I can't wait to hear what you found. Well it's mostly connected to something eight. Maybe not asparagus. Okay like let's say you're at a kid's birthday party and they serve an ice cream cake with like super blue icing blue dye icing. Okay turns your mouth blue and your pea green correct okay. Now if you haven't eaten something like that you might want to call your doctor if up green because it could also be caused by bacterial infection or it is a side effects of some medications. All right guys you heard it here from Dr Jenna. That's right and I had a list of all the medications but Angela won't let me read it because she said it was too boring. I did not say that I did not say that I want you guys to know. She read them and I thought some of it was gruesome. Has she pudding as she listed the side effects and I thought Oh lord you know I think it was a good call? She made me. Redo it and I think that was a good call and I just. I just don't want to scare all the children away. We do we do that. Sometimes on the PODCAST. She'll sign any better answer. You can't say that guys. There was just a prescription medicine in the side effects. Were like okay. Well throw in the towel. Because it's over. I want you to notice though in the background while Linda's talking to Michael is pacing back and forth. He is freaking out. He's really lurking and also in the background is Luanne. Luanne IS BACK THERE. And she's in the background a lot in this episode. We got a lot of male about that actually wondering who is the woman playing solitaire on her computer in the background. Who is in the back of this scene while Michael is working? It's Luanne Luanne alert so now Michael Calls Dwight into his office Oh My Gosh. This is so good. It's a spy shot through the window. Where Michael Is Dwight? I need your urine. Yeah in the DVD commentary. Jen Talks about how the tone of the scene they almost wanted it like a scene like in the godfather like this steed that I am going to ask you. Yeah has a lot to has a lot of weight to it. Yeah Michael Kind of tells I all about the Alicia keys concert all about the girl with the lip ring and Dwight is like Oh. Wow Wow yeah I hear you. Wow and then this is my favorite mine twice like Michael. I don't think I can do it. At Michael Says Urine goes all over the place. There's no controlling. It says it. Not He says the Cup could find. Its way under the urine. It might be an accident. Yeah you didn't do it on purpose. Yeah the urine just flew into the cup. Yeah and then you handed it to me Ari something. I want to talk about in this scene though at fourteen minutes. Twenty three seconds. There is a framed photo of the employees of thunder. Mifflin on this little table. That's opposite Michael. Dusk that is was on one of my cards as well and we know the story behind this photo. It is from an episode that we shot but since these aired out of order. You haven't seen it yet. You haven't seen it yet. It's from the conflict resolution episode. Yes and Michael. Photo chefs are faces. Yes he's trying to get a group shot but he can't get it so he does the clumsy photo shopped one and he frames that any puts his office and continuity error. We forgot to take it down for the scene. We all have a copy of this photo in a frame that Greg Daniels gave us as a gift as well I saw. Oh I love that and now guys. It's fifteen minutes forty five seconds and Angela and Dwight or in the kitchen. Yeah I really think that Michael is a big source of conflict for them in their relationship. Yes because constantly. Angela thinks Michael is an idiot And she thinks why. Would Dwight support this idiot? His loyalty to Michael is a sticking point for her because it causes Dwight to go against his principal his moral compass and there. There's nothing that Angela loves more than a good principal. I know except when she needs to bend it. Well just served her purpose. That's right but yes she definitely thinks that Michael is Dwight soft spot and it makes him lose his judgment so she just says to him in the in the kitchen. She's like listen. I can't I. cannot you know approve of this? I'm not going to give you my approval. And he's he's like Angela. I want him to have all the year and he needs all of it. All the urine he meets a lady your hair so long and pretty in that scene to thank you notice it. I noticed gorgeous thank you. It's like what's happening. I noticed how long it was. Yeah Super Long. It's the longest I've ever had my hair. Yeah it was very flowing seen thing I noticed stinks all right. So now we have Dwight's talking head and this is the talking head that Greg Daniels talked about in Booze cruise s where. He talks about his ancestors. Any says his was it. His great grandfather was wide shrewd. Amish yes so there's a great little tidbit in the DVD commentary about this so if you get the CDs this is a great I love that you just call them. Cds Angela are there. What are they freight when you get your VHS Sir now it's so cute because CD's are what we used to listen to music on. I'll never get it right. My kids have given up on correcting me. It's such a mom now and my kids used to correct me and now they're like. Yeah yeah fine okay. We do that annoy our children. Our parents had like I know things they did to us. But that was such a moment. Okay Okay and the DVD's so this talking head. Where rain improvised that. His father was Dwight Truth. His grandfather is dwight true. His father was denied. Shrewd Amish was a whole talking head. That rain improvised in the pilot. It was in the pilot but they they didn't have time for it and Greg loved it so much he was like. I am going to find a way to get that back in so rain. Did it in this episode twenty six episodes later. Yes wow I know that shows you Greg Daniels like Greg Daniels is like I will not forget. Yeah have spotted a moment of genius and by God it will find. Its way into the series. Yes and so. He made it happen. Found the moment and then of course this whole talking head really just opens up a whole world. That is MOS Yuppie farm. Amish background all of that. So guys white does give Michael His era. He does us in a to Go Coffee Cup labeled Michael Scott Sample. Yeah he does it he you see him walking around office with it but he does actually do it. Oh he's debating it he's going back and forth this tough decision in gyms watching this. He's like what is happening. And Dwight has this talking head about how his dad used to cheat when they played games and he didn't know it at the time of course but years later his dad told him in he was shocked. Yeah Hugh twice is so child like you know but it's interesting that that talking head is what's happening while he is debating on helping someone who was like a father figure to him well after he does this he decides. I can't be a volunteer sheriff anymore. I have to turn in my uniform. And he does. And there is a deleted scene of him going into the sheriff's office. Yes and it's really good. Yeah it is really good and he gives back his badge and the guys like we never gave you that. I did you get this like the gift shop. And then he's like. Did you ever dress in uniform? He Goes Oh yeah. I did a lot and he goes. He hits a record button he goes. You're going to need to tell me everything you did in this show while I went to Kenta Pedia. Oh kanter -PEDIA has. We had a fan question from heather. Buckley what building was used as the sheriff's station were Dwight returns his uniform. We did not fly to scranton and shoot the exterior of the Scranton police station. It was actually the van Nuys. Courthouse in California but the multiple scenes that are shot inside. Can't told me they built those on stage to behind the warehouse so while all this is happening Jim and pam or in the kitchen. It's flirty mcflurry time. It is well it starts flirting than ends real. Saad and then it destroys you this scene at seventeen minutes six seconds. They're flirting you know and then it say what you look like. You might tell me something Jim you can tell me anything. Come on loaded question. Yeah 'cause this heart on his sleeve right now yeah. Yeah Oh my Gosh John Krasinski your face and then Jenna your face the realization brilliant amazing you guys just crushed it in the scene so I know this is sort of jogging back in time a little bit but I loved when Ryan Ostlund of they were hiring. Choose like you WanNa work at a urine analysis lab like maybe and then Kevin. I thought there was a little bit of foreshadowing here. Okay at seventeen minutes. Fifty seven seconds. It's Kevin's turn to give his urine sample and he asks Linda for a magazine. Yeah and Linda's like it's just a urine sample and he's like well still but listen. Is this a little shadowing Kevin is used to when he has to give a little something of himself? He has to have a magazine because he goes to a sperm bank all the time. He does season five. There's a great scene in the baby shower episode. Where Jan is saying she used a sperm bank. Kevin's like which one and she's like. You wouldn't know it. It's very prestigious. And he goes she goes. It's an and he goes is it. Oh is it by that seven eleven. Forget what he says. Yeah in the look over her face like Oh crap that's the and Kevin goes on to say that he donates sperm bank quite a bit so I thought it was pretty. I thought it was pretty funny that he asked Linda for a magazine that he's used to. That is used to going somewhere getting a cup in a magazine going in a room. Oh that's such a good catch and I love that. So now Michael Toast why he passed the test. Yes and why is like that's great? I turned in my uniform. Yeah and and Michael can really tell how upset Dwight is and there is a spy shot. Not a peep shot. Cj I'm learning okay. There's these by shot through the blinds of Michael Pacing. He's yeah he knows that he's hurt his friend. This is weighing on him. In the meantime Pam comes in. She's got her code on. She's been out. Where was she guys? She bought a coke. Yes and she gives to Jim and says we've just by coke off me because I really miss you and I wanNA talk to you. And so he gives her a dollar. He hands her the coke and now the Jinx's broken the jinx is broken. I have my my space blog from back then and a question people asked a lot. I looked at it and they were like I wrote in my my Smith's blog. A lot of you asked about the cokes. Gooch IDYLLIC THREE LITTLE TAPS HOOK. Yeah and they wanted to know if it was scripted. I said no genesis did that. That was improvised and after I did it. I'll never forget. Greg Daniels goes oh I love that. Love the little taps on the soda. Yeah we're using that one. We're using that one. We're in the middle of filming. And he was like when you edit this. You gotta use the three taps. I only did it that one time. But he was so delighted in the moment. It's very cute. And then also you guys saying hi and hey do each other with not scripted. That's right yeah that was not scripted. No that was just in. The moment is really sweet. So they have this whole scene where he gets sworn in by Hank the security guard yes. He gets sworn in as honorary volunteer. Corporal Corporal.

Indy completely toss up a race between Kristen cinema and Martha mcsally. I know I'm obsessed with the names here. Her name's Angela green. And she's the green party can't hit. You betcha. So good does she get her name change like the low tat? No. And I would just a caution people not to Google the name Byron low tax Looper because that is a a rabbit hole that you will never escape from. In alaska. They had an independent governor there who knew name Bill Walker of who's not beloved at all. And there was a three way race between him and a democrat, Mark baggage or beg or whatever. And Mike Dunleavy the Republican and the governor at about a week two weeks ago said screw it. I'm getting out. I'm backing the democrat. This was supposed to be a walkover win for the Republican. Now, it's completely toss-up race with. Yes, a libertarian polling for the first time it just came out like a couple of days ago at three percents, Billy Toyin and a Patrick Starnes and independent candidate for governor in Oregon completely toss-up race backed out last minute and through support to Kate Brown is the democrat. They're running against somebody with the phenomenal name of Knute. Buehler with that with a K, not the bad kind of a new, but it's it's fascinating to me that the people even who themselves have gone. Onto the trouble of being a third party candidate. Maybe collected a bunch of signatures and campaigned went on TV and all this kind of stuff. Get wobbly at the end and freak out because the bad guys might win kind of speaks to cause Bill weld, cough, cough. He didn't endorse Catherine. He just said that, you know, I'm here to out for Hillary Clinton one week before an election, which he was running against her on. He did it on the Rachel Maddow show. Oh my God. I can't believe to this day that he did that Catherine. What are any races or a ballot initiative or anything else that you find particular interest that reason listeners should be paying attention to before? I get to my real answer. I do want offer since we're doing outstanding candidate names when I arrived at the office this morning. There was a flyer that had been slipped under the door for the libertarian party candidates of Washington, DC and the gentlemen, running for attorney general of DC is named Joe henchman. Oh, yeah. Oh, she's been great. Grey. I somehow just hadn't processed the like that's an amazing name for an AG. Right. Like, it's the the whole gig is being a henchman. So it's perfect. So the initiative that I talk about is the thing I'm gonna talk about his ballot initiative. California is considering the the end of daylight savings time, which to me is the most important issue facing our nation and. Proposition seven so here in California go vote, yes..

"Okay. So we've been talking about the cavenaugh now for two weeks meaning the well. We've been doing about the effect of Democrats on the cavenaugh confirmation which is shameful and disgraceful. But now we're seeing the cavenaugh affect on the mid-term elections, and this is hurting Democrats in races across the country, not just the swing states, but racist that we were pretty certain that we were gonna lose are now looking like they might flip for reaction. We turn to Corey sport it 'cause Booker. I hurt with dick Durbin called me. I had tears of rage. When I heard about this experience in that meeting and for you not to feel that, hey, hurt and that pain. Well, could we? I'm sorry, can we just one more time before we really get into the show here? Could you, could you tell me a Senator Spartak has what did you feel. Iheart were dick Durbin called me. I had tears of rage. When I heard about this experience in that meeting and for you not to feel that, hey, hurt, and that pain. Very good. Thank you. Thank you very much tears of rage. That's what Democrats are feeling all around the country. Here the cabin affect is effecting a lot of races. So we've got dean Heller in Nevada that raises turning around Martha mcsally right now in Arizona has a six point lead over her democrat opponent Kirstin cinema. So this is the race at, you know, with a, we thought Arizona was probably gonna flip with John McCain, dying with, you know, flake stepping down and right now Martha mcsally is leading. There's also in that race, a green party candidate, Angelo green that that coincidence is just too much right. She she must have just she's probably like some random street person. She thought, I know what I can do. I know how I can make some money for the next two months. The green party Angela green. So she, she's gonna play a role too. She's going to pull some votes away from the democrat. It seems. Why is that the case? Why aren't the Democrats United? Because they overplayed their hand on breath. At Cavanaugh you know, it's it's very easy to to separate people by race. It it's much harder to separate people by gender because the genders are constantly unified and together we all have mothers. Many of us have wives and girlfriends. You know, women have fathers and sons and husbands and boyfriends. So it's it's much harder if you overplay your hands. If it if it seems that you're being unfair and you're assassinating the character of a guy just for being a guy just because you can. That's a that's a real problem. So, and we're seeing that, you know, we're seeing this play out, not just in the Senate. We're seeing it on campuses as well. We'll get to that a little bit later. Marsha Blackburn is up eighteen points on democrat, Phil Bredesen's in Tennessee. A little note of warning on this. This is according to the New York Times that she's up eighteen points. I don't really believe this before the race showed her up just six points according to even the most ambitious polls. Right now they have polls in real time on the New York Times. You're seeing numbers come in as. They are contacting people. I don't know. This is obviously about the entertainment aspect of elections, but I'd I'm a little skeptical still eighteen points is pretty pretty good. So even if she's really only up eight points or nine points or even six points pretty good, and those numbers were not looking that way before in Texas. Remember we were told that beta aerobic Robert, Francis overwork. He goes by Beto or veto, but he's colloquially known among Republicans as beta, beta Aurora is now down to forty. Four points crews looks at. He's up at fifty three..

It's a Halloween and they might do a tongue in cheek presentation where they go as Tyler, an Angela, their rival show Mance for the holidays because there was some discussion way back when eleven years ago. I almost win as a young Nick star civic and Danny did not. Oh, for Halloween that year. So just be some cleaner. I won't be amongst the showman Marlene would say evil Dick's bratty daughter. Exactly. I think that Brett is a great candidate to potentially rock this. I think realistically, breaded Winston and Rachel are probably going see. Tyler is and other dark horse candidate that he could be Angela herself. I think she'll be. Yeah. No, no. She's not going to do also. We miss this as an opportunity before, what's the what you're going odds of Geoffrey Owens appearing on celebrity, big brother to now. He's hot now. Yeah. Heels, right or right onto cameo dot com. I mean, he would not be the first Cosby alum to appear on celebrity women not be the first to quit for breastfeeding needs either. All right. It's Eric, I'm noticing this in the article that it says that she also appeared to model and adult skeleton sweater on these same website with her face half covered in black and white makeup. Let's check this out. I have not seen this. So this us weekly magazine is reporting. This is Angela as well. Are you buying this doesn't look anything like her? That's just a woman? Is it possible is this is this Angela, Rachel? We need you. What's wrong with Angela? Why is her face half covered with skeleton. That might be. A lazy, I'd Cassie Kovin possibly, but I don't think that's Angela. Yeah, it's unclear. Let's see. This is her. Do we does she have any distinguishing features? I would say like this might be Matt Hoffman as Angela as a loofah as a Skillet in possibly. Charon is saying that is not enjoying. This is no dice on this. Yeah, this is really what's wrong with Angela, namely she's not the same person anymore. The adult green loofah Kostya was first reported on the podcast by Matt Hoffman, the other night, keep calm and soak up the bubbles. The cute green loofah costume is the perfect way to pop any costume party. This Halloween, including a adorable rubber Ducky headband. I would not be began a staple, you'll be tunneling or so. I don't know. Call me. Reviews five stars based on one reviews..
