Yep where there was huge surge coming from from that section where the homeowner actually slept with her head. Yes was right next to when they slept. All this rampant. Emf yup going into their head because they had built. They built the top that that was the second floor. They built that part themselves and they hadn't properly shielded that wall ridiculous. "I don't know six inches of snow is crazy. Yes and every time you look down thought okay. It's it's ending then snowed another couple of hours and It's supposed to warm up and get rid of this but boy. Oh boy as if as if everybody isn't already kind of put upon a despondent this do any Any favors the mood. It's pretty at a glance. Then of course this thing inside so for the most part Tina's ever lovin credit. She she went out there to to Snow Blow. And it's heavy wet you know. It's march march. Snow is is the worst. Snow actually may snow for those of you. That ever have lived up here. May and June snow that. That's the snow that really you want to. You want to have your heart and ripped out that I remember there was a year. There was a year at colgate in fact where it snowed graduation graduation weekend. The Friday it snowed like May Thirtieth. It was crazy crazy. Well upstate New York if everything goes right from now ideally if if things get to where they need to be and I don't know how much I need to speculate on protocols and so forth but I I'm sure if some of you saw yesterday for instance a Brat wise born an op Ed piece of sorts describing his own experience with with Kobe and really a harrowing account. Say the least and he's feeling better. That's just one of what you know. What's going to be any number of of others that you know people? Are you know that that they know anybody that has had the actual full-fledged effects and if you haven't seen it I would recommend reading it it'll it'll shake you up so glad that Brad is feeling better and certainly for those? That are really didn't know anybody that you had specific association with certainly enough people around the industry at work have worked with with Brad and and certainly with the whiteboard family with Perry. They've got the Brad and his wife have got a seven month old child. And so you know we we he and I the same you know concerns for you. Zachary and entry and their newborn baby. It's hard to believe that you know four weeks ago. We we're two trips to Rochester to enjoy the baby and now just waiting to see when we can go enjoyer. Moore's right now. We're enjoying her through video calls and photographs. So everybody's got to Beyond their the appropriate behavior so the racing side yesterday certainly people taking advantage of the opportunity at finer and will rogers downs. If you didn't see the handle and now they did. Two million over two million at at will rogers. Last week they did one point. Five million so slow in just a week. Fodder fonder didn't publish the cumulative but you can just you can look at the numbers by individual race and you know. I'm sure it's you know. The numbers are are robust. And you know as Johnny told yesterday express baton. I understand other eighty ws of have seen a big uptick in new accounts. It's it's a very odd dynamic. Not the not to say that. The industry corn quote is benefiting. Let me that's just silly. But it's certainly unusual circumstance that is providing people a chance to to look at racing to keep them occupied and over the next couple of days. If you have. It looked ahead the the car this given given what the situation is. The cards are quite full and robust and today again at at both will rogers and at at Finer. Those are the two venues. They're both running again on Wednesday and they affirmed since today will rogers starts at one fifteen central. You've got a twelve by eight by five got actually got an allowance field but then ten by six by eleven by six by eleven by eleven and fodder same kinds of ice Full fields and Some things that you're looking at that you probably have never really you know a lot of people looking at these venues for the first time. There is a steak today. there's Thandi at At the fifteen thousand dollars. Thandi three quarters for three and ups and there's also the Nebraska bread orphan guest and. That's a twenty thousand dollar steak so couple of steaks today the features and then tomorrow they both run again but also course. Tampa picks up and so does Gulfstream. If you haven't looked at those cards certainly tomorrow. Gulfstream twelve by twelve by six by twelve by ten seven by nine by seven by nine by eleven same kind of car on Thursday at Gulfstream. Ten race cards both the days and at Tampa eight race car tomorrow and You know particularly late action. The League pick four eight by ten by ten by ten so lots of keep the occupied and keep you distracted. Oaklawn resumes on Thursday. They've got it terrific card Thursday. Start to do some do some capping Thursday night as well at turf way. Awful feels clever. Eleven by twelve twelve by twelve by twelve by twelve twelve unbelievable so for those that have preached or have floated. The less is more concept. I mean it's going to get a a full-fledged testing ear and and this comes as a come as a surprise either I mean it just makes it does make sense That reduced the reduced venues. We're GONNA talk about. We're GONNA talk about the transport aspect of things. Andy Sim offs. GonNa join us. After the first break and anti you'll talk about how his transportation company is handling things. I can tell you that it's been logistically. It's been challenging and I wanted to get some input from Andy on this. I just I know in our own case and we've got. We had our our three year old filly that was injured and his career was cut short and she needed to get the Kentucky. She's been covered this morning actually by Motown and she She had to wait three weeks. Two and a half three weeks to get a ride to Kentucky and actually the timing worked out all right because she was cycling. And so we kinda hit kind of luckily To be honest but It and I knew that this was a conversation that we were. GonNa WanNa have and the owners and the horsemen that. We're going to be dealing with how how to move their their horses and there's also some decisions. I don't know if they're going to be made immediately. But you know you you you do wonder About how quickly in the in the jurisdictions where? We're not running right now New York. Let'S USE NEW YORK. Is the perfect the discussion point? How much you you go forward and tread water in a with your with your stock if you WANNA turn some out if you have borderline mayors that that are right at your at a decision point anyway about retiring and breeding. I mean these are the kinds of decisions. I know that are that are coming to the fore so I wanted to address some of these each day in one area or another yesterday. Course Alex joining us and Anti IRA providing the template in the resources for industry stakeholders and those that need information and direction. Under the circumstances. We're also GONNA talk to Louis Karma. Halt Excuse me. Who's back from? Who's back from Dubai and the Louisville give firsthand account and if you saw Marcus Hersh's piece yesterday at the R F Marcus. Detailing and talking to Most of the the horsemen that had the two dozen. Us based runners and how the Dubai officials are handling getting those horses back to North America and instead of that suggested a April fourth transport out. It looks as if they're going to get some of them out As early as tomorrow and all the personnel. That had been on hand there. They've come back and may Dan staff are looking after the horses for the American interests. So I thought we get in contact with some and we'll start with Louis of course Jerry Maguire with the the craziest experience literally flying there and then turning right around and flying back as well so Andy Serwer is GonNa us to and the a ideally Getting Ready for the The weekend broadcasts emanating from New York on Fox and And he's been sick himself for a couple of weeks and so he's been he's been sort of sequestered and he'll be back at it this weekend. And you know the way we're shaping up right now of course you're looking at the Gulfstream and and Santa Needing Golden Gate Oaklawn Tampa. I mean the that's the core. I should mention Charlestown to charlestown running. And then the quarterhorse racing the they will be on TV but REMINGTON AND LA. Salle both running and I think I saw cal. Expo is back underway is going to get back underway. So there's there's this long as we maintain the status quo for now A. There's there's something to look forward to looking forward to a visit. As well from Reeve McGee Shug son and last week got his first professional victory in his training career and of course took string to Oakland and You know one of the unique aspects of read starting his career this way. A lot of the horses From John Anthony. Originally Lob lolly of course and literally the same person that helped show start his training career Kind of NEAT and under the short leaf in recent years. John Ed Anthony. So we'll talk to read and Jeremy plonk to WanNa get Jeremy in and and you know in addition to his thoughts about what we saw Saturday at fairgrounds and looking ahead to Florida Derby Day. Want to talk to Jeremy about the resource under the circumstances that night. School is because the number of people that are taking an interest.

My parents by sister. Going is dead at fillmore east on her birthday. Nineteen seventy my parents dog. I think they went to see a world where the trash was creepy movies. Back in the sixties we're movies shouldn't Joe Dallas Andro anyway. What's going on in the world of race it could. I mean we well. We dealt in the first hour particularly with the with the each day. I want to have somebody that can provide some insights and we talked to. Andy Sim off about the transport issues and moving horses around under this circumstance and Louis Carbohydrate joins us with a firsthand account of what went on in Dubai and and getting imperial hint home and he and Mr Mamone or just hopeful that the now they can they can focus on trying to win a third straight vanderbilt. That's that's their. That's their goal for the year now but a pretty harrowing situation to you and I talked about this last week right. I mean the the this was kind of an audacious concept that they were gonNA make people travel from around the world. Under no circumstances. I was surprised with people and you and I talked to that shipping but the other day we just hope all the people and horses are safe so you know what what decisions we make and how they affect us. It doesn't really matter when you've made them you made them. You know we've all seen people make decisions.

"Lined up against the governor's proposed incursion into the racing developed. Trust so that as as we've discussed here whether was with Brian San Fratello or Tommy Thompson. Andy Sim off that. That is going nowhere. And so you know those that were concerned about their mayors Pennsylvania This should fade into the the ether quickly enough so And the plot everybody. That responded appropriately. I speaking of responding and helping doing the right think there's been continued support of the the Gofundme as for Meghan. Fabio Vich and Cody Davidson Meghan transported to Illinois to continue her recovery. If you didn't see yesterday. She wrote a facebook message. That is just so touching and really special thanking everybody involved and and really just openly discussing herb emotions involved with the accident and losing though Davidson and having to go on and continue. Her career is honor and memory and the money being raised for. Cody's children over eleven thousand now and you haven't if you thought you were gonNA give it a police contribute. "It's a big mistake. Big Huge I got everything out of the way they every year. That's the beauty of the excuse me that's the beauty of one of the extra bonuses of Eight. See Vegas and they get to go to fashion. Show Mall and pick out piece of jewelry that never fails. I think we've done that about five years in a row so she was thrilled and they also also got her got her a couple of Valentine's sweaters. Oh please I am all it is this. This is my wheelhouse. I gotTa tell you happy. Valentine's Day hope everybody has fun with their significant other later today. Lunches and dinners romantic I'm sure there'll be some sure. We'll have some odd twitter reporting of engagements right Epi. It's big night for engagements. It's enough of that. We've got It's also it's also magnified day and and much more this very good racing today and I. I don't want to lose track of the action turf way. Tonight you got the two stakes the Battaglia and Cincinnati trophy three year old boys and girls Tampa today. Those races go off at eight. Twelve nine twelve at Tampa today three sixteen eastern that sixth race the rather notable three year old season debut Guvener Morris but He's hardly he's hardly alone. That's a good. It's a good group so be aware the magnify if you're playing today. The Laura Lace Gulfstream Seventh Golden Gate Third Santa Anita Fourth Gulfstream tenth so all four ovals involved Laurel Gulfstream Golden Gate. Santa Anita. I keep calling. That's funny I keep calling the magnify stronach five and there's a ton actually. There's a ton of helpful information I'd forgotten who the beat. The host host was going to be this week. It's tom quickly so I went to express bet first thing this morning and in going to get the reminder that quickly was was hosting the the five information page is really full of of terrific handicapping tools and the information. You Got Zoe cadman. She looked at the. You know a handful of races. It's Anthony Today including that Fourth Matt. Dinner Man has got Scott a price horse. He likes in the Golden Gate third and Brian. Nato's ticket is there and much more. So if you want a little extra handicapping support it's at Expressed by a terrific. Cast date to go through the weekend. Then of course the major focus will be fairgrounds hard not to get excited about tomorrow's Risen Star Card which has tourism stars for the price of one and both deep compelling fields. The fairgrounds the mineshaft the Rachel Alexandra a big fourteen Horsfield in the AL stall big out the colonel power. Then there's I think four is four main specials and that had he allowance that features the two million dollar Chester town. Who I don't know there's there's other horses in there including frankly the stablemate ownership entry because of West Point winning impression. The Dallas Stuart Dallas has got the two outside horses in there actually winning impressions the One A. and on throttled. The but sharecropper has gotten plenty of conversation speaking of family stall shake some action. Brad Cox Ron who I mentioned the other Asmussen. There's a lot going on in that fifth race. Allowance goes off at two fifty eight eastern tomorrow so just a the whole card starts at one o'clock eastern twelve central. We'll talk to Marcus Hirsch in our three. Marcus has got a busy morning on the backstretch at fairgrounds. We'll talk to him around eleven. I'm guessing after J after J. Prism and joins us with the opening salvo from Derby. Watch the new the new Derby Watch now featuring Marty McGee Marty McGee and j the revamped Derby. Watch twenty twenty. We'll start conversation this morning at Oaklawn of course hammer. They're taking entries today for Monday. And what a what? A Nice Holiday Card. They should have the southwest. The by accuweather razorback hammer will give us some some preview of The entries that are coming in we touched on it yesterday. Should be really good card Monday. Lots of raising Monday. And we'll see what else hammer's got in store for us. Oakland is also going to be a part of the conversation and part of the focus. We have with Ed Peters the player. Best known as fanny that Derby trail. Or we've known Ed for from from the time we started the the website and those who play against them On the on the contest websites as well. Ed Peters will join us in our two. And in addition to add detailing his an experience put in another nice run. In addition to that ED starting with opening weekend at OAKLAWN had basically sent up a flare for everybody at at our website at Derby trail and the the bias. That was so note. I mean you know you can argue about the degree of biases and and I know that it's a it's a it's a good topic and it certainly we hit on it plenty and there's probably more bias thought or you know monitor hung on on racetracks than than probably exists. There's probably less bias than than thought a lot of times a bias might be hinted at but then upon further inspection it turns out. It's it's horses that eat a one the way they were supposed to. And we're the horses that were likely to win. You know a race a race card starts off and you get three winners in the first four races that can win on the front end and then you go back and you look and you see well. They were front runners or oppressors and they were two two one seven to nine to five. That's not a bias that that's what you're looking for. A bias is when horses that have no business winning or hitting the board. You know when when thirty one shots Oh. He found courage no. He didn't find courage. There was there was a conveyor belt. Got Brave on the lead. No he got carried by the racetrack. But that's what that's what says bias not not logical horses winning the way. It looked like they're supposed to win when you got the race but anyway no one is going to question what we had a particularly opening day at Oaklawn and then decreasing basis into Saturday and Sunday. Ed Ed was like a kid in a candy store and he promptly. He promptly started tracking everything and tracked every horse. That was compromised. Those couple of days particularly the first few days lesser extent Thurday. Well those horses are running back and as I said yesterday about this conversation. We're going to have with that feeders. They're not just running back. They're winning. They're hitting the board prices and the horses that were benefit beneficiaries of the track. They're they're getting beat at short prices. This is how you win and so Ed is going to talk about what he does. So you so you can copy it and take home with you So looking forward to a guy wanted on the show forever Nick Tomorrow who? We missed terribly. Course in Vegas will talk to nick in our to. We'll talk to Ed to Rosa Edwards there year at sat with us but we didn't get a chance he was was all over the all over the events center meeting and greeting and trying to help twin spires players in prison that users. So we'll talk to Ed James scully in this first hour. We'll get James's ideas for the weekend and what else I mentioned Jay President and colleague. Marcus Hirsch Ryan San Fratello. Brian San Fratello will join us to the Pennsylvania Horse Breeders and will reiterate will reiterate what we discussed a little bit yesterday with. Andy Sim off. Great to.

"Tony Good Morning. Good Morning Steve. And I love that. Saddam is on standby make. And I love what you're talking about this morning I've heard it in pieces of You know the governor. Tom Is proposing to take some of our money from racing. The always puts it out there doing something education. 'cause that's what that gets all the bleeding heart line who knows something with this money other than racing and gambling I was at the Equa Star. Stallion showed the other day Sunday at bill and it was a stallion show and it was a show of state representative and it was a show of support that the racing industry provides when they have something of controversy to stand again. There was everybody there when it came to a jockeys trainers owners readers. Jocky agent you name it. People showed up and they showed a lot of support here to stay representatives and we got a chance to talk to some of them and some of them even give you the impression that proposing this bill and taking that money is. It's it's not even legal at this particular time. It's a legal issue that would have to be borrowing over and so it's not even legal without amending the old bill and whatever you gotTA. Do you know the impression that guys gave. There's going to be made by just over legal to do this. So that was a plus. When I saw the people that were there I thought to myself Governor Tom the big bad wolf. You you you can have all your. You Ain't going to blow this house down raised you know we might better horses down on. Straw. But we don't build our houses out of Straw as the bill down at cement and Steel. And how are stick to business and stick together when we have controversy controversial issues? really stands out. This was unbelievable. The show of support. That was that was star salvation show. It was more of a state representative Joe a show of strength of the racing industry than it. Even was a stallion show. But you know what I couldn't believe how well mannered though stallions were before that they brought out and show and smarty. Last time I saw smarty Jones was out of farm and paddock and he was standing on his hind legs. He came out there looking beautiful and was a total gentleman. Every stallion they showed was just and in the middle of the crowd and they are really really well cared for well mannered and it was a great show stallions and a great jealous frank for the racing industry no doubt And we're also continuing to hear from industry stakeholders and then representatives from from the legislature and As I mentioned just now with Andy Sim off his senator Down in Chester Delaware counties. Tom Killian With a statement yesterday Tony and I like I like I've been saying I don't think this is going to. They're not going to be able to raid the the Development Fund A. But at the same time it is it it's created a bad atmosphere and enough so we're GONNA talk to Brian San Fratello tomorrow. There's a meeting today actually With the coin I think the equality coalition today and the the Horse Breeders Association. But there's people that are concerned enough that they've pulled mayors. You know that are that are ready to fall and taking them elsewhere. And whether it's the Maryland New York Virginia whatever and AH this is even if thirty forty five sixty days from now it becomes obvious to everyone that nothing is going to come of this threat. There's already damage that that is being done. And that that'll be seen in in the number of polls or or the the some of the people that were thinking of bringing mayors to Pennsylvania this year It it it. The uncertainty creating a atmosphere of uncertainty isn't is a huge negative because people want to be able to count on on the future right. It creates an unstable environment. Like you say exactly you know and it could medically or someone affect us this year. You know you're right on and it's a shame because the breeding program and Pennsylvania is such a quality program. Epa Reds is because of the money that they get awarded they race any place in the country and be competitive there. Is there such a good good of read the Apron? I mean we see him. Go all over and they've raised in New York. We you know we raise not in major. Stake races All over the country and and they reduce so. It's a shame that we might get a little kick in the teeth this year but it won't happen next year and if this thing's gonna I don't see it. You know getting passed in any way. It seems like it's going to be up in the air longer than it's GonNa be and discussed for a long time. You know But yeah I it's a shame like you say to create that uncertainty but we'll overcome it. We will overcome Tony. Separate Topic That I utilize you for these Various anything that falls in you know into your sphere of of expertise and experience and the story involving the Borough. Arroyo is just really sad and and I you know I. I know that there's no it's GONNA be. You're not going to generate a lot of sympathy for for his lifestyle choices and the decisions that he's made but it just seemed that You know whatever whenever he's away from the racetrack and and I'm sure this has been true of a lot of a lot of jocks over the years. That's when the trouble starts you know when when when they're on a on the grounds you know working in the morning and then you know riding in the afternoon or evening when there's idle time and and I whether it's injury-time and and you know whether it's whether it's substance abuse or in this case this case domestic abuse The There was that highly publicized. Fight that His father and and he and his brother got into with the pool. Cue a story with the with the CABBIE and it's just it it's really depressing frankly to to read about this because I don't think anybody questions his talent and and you know he's the example of the current example but he's hardly You know he's hardly a first the first time. We've we've seen something like this. Now it's a it's a story. I can really relate to. I haven't read the total story on him You know when it comes to domestic abuse when it comes to drug and alcohol abuse Not Domestic Abuse always had wives over five for ten of bigger than me. Wouldn't you probably very athletic? Always big and strong and the own. Your view would have been if I raised my hand.
