Now this is not been the greatest stockton since it public twenty sixteen but this year the company feels like it has really gotten its act together yesterday morning hosts this reporting an impressive beaten race. Quarter stock jumped. Three percent is before you on a bit more today. This things back to its highest level since january although it's still pretty darn cheap selling for sixteen times next year's earnings estimates could it have more room to run. Let's check in with andy kelly in the presidency of hostess brands. You had a better sense of companies prospects speech kellyanne. Welcome to make money going to be here. Okay so andy let me ask you. There's nothing like a treat like what's behind you my man. I just love i love. I love hostess. Everything you make but i want to know. Is this the kind of food. The comfort food that people want in america in the morning these days in the morning in the afternoon and at night. And you're exactly right ninety. Some ninety percent brand awareness and consumers love us snacking trends an indulgent snacking both in the morning afternoon. We're on trend before cohen. And it's just accelerated the in-home behavior You know it's a brain. Consumers can trust through brands. They love you mentioned. Some of those terrific were number one and done. That's a number wanted. Cupcakes and consumers take solace in some challenging times. We have a nearly twenty percent top line growth but some of that is because you made an acquisition that. I have to tell you i. I was worried about because the puppies at canadian companies. Are they going to integrate that but it looks like the integration is done and the businesses together working perfectly. Yeah absolutely well. that was. One of the appeals swatted. We we moved it from an independent distributor model to our consolidated warehouse model during a pandemic. And did it flawlessly hitting our targets at lower costs are synergies are going to be close to twenty million dollars. We targeted fifteen twenty and to be able to do that just credit to the team. But you're absolutely right. It fits within our business model. It's brandit has niche number one shares. We're going to be able to grow it. We're gonna be able to expand distribution of it So we feel really good about that. We're talking about wortman. Vanilla wafers mikhaylov. You're the only way for that. Sugar free that tastes like short. I call it sugar-free dumb. You're able to enjoy cookies. Have a great time with an still be able to indulge within the category which has an emotional benefit to us. We all we snack. We gotta do it in a balanced way and workman fits that lifestyle for those consumers that are looking for that. Okay so let me ask you. There was a time when this two different bankruptcies came public didn't do that well initially and then you came in what were this. What's the to the success that you've had to make it. So you've even get the leverage down to the what were you announce the stock buyback faces the heavy lifting of coming out of bankruptcy. And i call them the second founders so the second founders had to redo a business model they had a great brand drift sub brands they build a new model Brought it back to consumers with rate appeal and building that distribution was really import. We're now in the in. The next phase of that were grown business engaging with consumers innovating it tacking on a new park on. Great emanate as like workman so we really have an expandable model. The deaden second founders really rebuild an agile culture performance base culture are re redistributed the brand. And now we're on the second phase of growth and i actually think best value creation out front of what i also think that you're doing something i would've i wish you and are both in philadelphia would know five no from your accent. Bien told me up on tastes cakes. We always were trying to figure out why they didn't innovate. You're doing Cheesecake to nets. And you're doing chocolate caramel. That's what i would cream cheese. I want to stuff to be different each time. I go and you're pulling it.

"Totally worth it. Xbox magazine has folded. This is sad news but it looks like official. Xbox magazine has shut down as someone who loves video game magazines and worked for one for many years. It is always disappointing to hear news like this. Wesley and pull for Euro Gamer is reporting on the closure and writes Oh. Xm folded last week with the magazines last few remaining staff. Let Go Euro Gamer understands Oh. Xm is one of six magazines closed at bath based media company future although it is the only gaming magazine among them a statement from the parent company. Future give into Euro Gamer reads. We have a duty of care to all our staff during this time in our focuses on protecting the business for them and for our customers we have introduced a raft of measures to keep the numbers of layoffs to an absolute minimum including significant pay cuts for our executive team and Board Wilson Decline in retail footfall impacts our magazine business. We are well. Placed with significant digital audiences diversified revenues to continue delivering on our customers. Changing needs at this time on. Oem's various channels doesn't seem as though any announcements have been made about the state of the publication. I wish everyone there. The best as well as luck for all their future endeavors. I know what this is like resident evil. Three reviews are out in the wild. There were no big releases. Today but resident evil. Three remake reviews are on the wild which exciting the. Ps Four version of the game is currently sitting at an eighty one on metacritic and the xbox one version is at an eighty five my buddy Ben Reeves at game informer gave the game a nine writing resident evil threes greater focus on action affords you fewer opportunities to stop and think but Gills. Adventure is incredible. Thrill ride from the first moment that Nemesis burst through the wall and reached out with one of his tendrils. Felt my heart begin to race. I don't think it's slowed down again until the credits rolled. Andy Kelly over at PC gamer was less kind giving it a fifty. Eight and writing resident evil three is essentially a chain of action set pieces threaded together with a paper thin story and a few too many cut scenes. This is the direction the series started to take post resident evil four when it seriously lost its way and we ended up with the abysmal resident evil six. And I'd hate to see that happen again. I Jeans Lucy. O'brien reviewed the single player campaign for Aegean gave it a nine writing like resident evil two before it resident evil. Threes twenty remake does an amazing job of recapturing the horror tension of the late nineties original while completely modernizing. Its gameplay it plays like a twenty twenty game because it is a twenty twenty game. The classic world is brought to life in glorious detail and smart level design makes exploring it a delight and replaying it almost compulsory. If only all remakes could be this good bring on the next one. Allesandro Ferrari has a review in progress of the game up for Gamespot and is more in line with PC gamer awarding. A six and writing as a remake resident evil three not only falls short of honoring source. But it also doesn't quite stick the landing as a standalone horror experience even without taking into account the original game or its predecessor R. E. Three struggles to keep up with its pace amid a clashing of elements from survival horror and standard action while it has a strong start and gives its principal villain some great moments. This truncated retelling of the concluding game from the original resident. Evil trilogy doesn't do it. Proper justice overall the reviews seem positive but there is no ignoring those handful of folks who were clearly disappointed. I am currently playing resonable three with a code provided by Capcom and I am not far enough to offer comprehensive thoughts but I can say that the beginning stellar and unexpected in many ways the first few minutes of the game are just really cool and as a continuation of what Capcom did with. Its Resin. Evil to remake. It feels good. It's the only thing pulling me.

We know that there's we have a higher power God in heaven and that everything's GonNa be okay and I just wanted to share that today. Mike I. I don't know how I can thank you enough. "It Simmons I'm Freddie Coleman to gather we are parading if it's and it's on ESPN appetizers excel AT and them against us by to hang out with us and share the knowledge they're here thanks to sell pencil foreman's line so eleven fifty nine fifty nine AM on Monday that is the doctor has the time NFL teams that they have to designate a franchise tag player which would be the winner goes a long term deal open until July fifteenth each day in Dallas that brings the cowboys close attacking quarterback dak Prescott his rookie contract is expiring all of M. S. cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman has a warning with this quote I'd hate to think what might happen or how that might feel at the end of going the franchise tag route I just don't think that's going to be the best interest of all parties and ultimately I don't think it's in the best interest of the cowboys it could have damaging effects in my opinion so hopefully they'll get a deal done in court that's what he told Sirius XM NFL radio on Wednesday let's bring I met Todd archer does a great job coming to Dallas Cowboys part of ESPN NFL nation he joins us here on Friday Fitzsimmons Todd I know you've heard that quote from Troy Aikman ad nauseam what are your thoughts when he had to say about if the franchise tag happens that could be the result between dak and the cowboys yeah yeah I wrote this back when the cowboys leading into the game against Minnesota that if you put the tag on the quarterback your festival in any place if you don't reach a long term deal you're effectively starting the end of the relationship with quarterback in some ways and Kirk cousins is an example I want to say send the tax systems that in place in the early nineties I think Lincoln three quarter of two quarterbacks that played on the tag and Kirk cousins did it twice I believe drew Brees with the other he was gone after he was out on the tag in San Diego course they drafted Philip rivers I believe it's timing at all office out that worked out but yeah it you have to start wondering about if the is on the tag it's going to show up for the offseason program I will be there for that mandatory mini camp in June now if I've been a project if I get a good fine or anything like that but at that it's not the best way to going to a new with a new coach if your quarterback in that home and they've never contract now there's no way to look at it and say that played for two million dollars last year if you get tags could be twenty seven of thirty two thirty three million this year why would you play for that but I think you know what the cowboys all time we want to have happen what Jack wants that to happen if we believe all these guys if they work out a long term deal it just isn't going to be by the time that deadline that you laid out you want it could be that you start small but I've been to a deal and you're not waiting till three July eleventh talk again about a long term contract you want to start momentum now get that going so five six one accomplished artificial rocks you can program the quarterbacks in the building archer we we gonna talk for years and years what you know as far as when when the Jones family says a deal to get done publicly Dan traditionally a deal gets done and even when you have Ezekiel Elliott and Thabo right indeed the Jones family dig in their heels and guess what he became the highest paid running back in the National Football League when it comes to the terms and what is preventing dak and the cowboys and Todd France dax agent and the cowboys from reaching a long term contract from everyone you talk to what is it it's all the above it the length of the contract if the guaranteed money if the average per year I mean they're there they might be close in certain aspects of those three things but if you're not close at all three dot balls and all three you're not close to a deal and this is been something that they've been trying to bridge this gap insurance stocks when they start talking about this thing last spring right you know it and they thought they were close the cowboys did they thought they were close right at the start of the season right around thirty two right around data because you want the others though that number out there not the specific number but its contract right and then what happened yeah I got a great start in those first three games cowboys three no idea Levin touchdown passes maybe one interception and all button numbers changed and they didn't talk again until they they got the combine so you know you're you're talkin a good five months without really any conversation it's hard to believe that they could close that gap between the combine and here it is this upcoming deadline to think they can get a deal done even once even Jones tells us all the time if both sides are motivated to get a deal done that they can happen and and hours if not minutes the only other time I remember it happened that quickly for the cowboys but actually last April when they signed the market's Lawrence this five year hundred five million dollar deal that's right sixty five guaranteed that was a situation where Lawrence had shoulder surgery that he needed the cowboys knew we needed to have ready for week one and they hammered out pretty quickly and hammered out this way the market's losses on the phone with Stephen Jones I think that has to be the way that this thing would happen with that is that there's direct communication between the team the player with the agent and not just leaving a player on the outside the cowboys have done their big deal here lately from are the markets where Terence Newman Tony Romo Jason Witten and even now lately with the markets Lawrence and Andy Kelly it this is a situation where the the players were involved back Martin other one he said I want forty million average and forty guaranteed the deal was done pretty quickly after that great so by Todd archer ESPN info nations cowboys reporter joining Freddie and Fitzsimmons on ESPN radio as soon as I can tell eighty now dak Prescott told USA today school do you USA today sports that if he gets that he said and I quote all this is the same message that this your set but obviously I want to win I'm so by that a gallon gambled on myself my whole life end quote what kind of message was he sending to the cowboys with that yeah yeah I think you know he said it a couple times where what is that you can be around the facility can be and you know he's got it left the door is not completely shut the door and being around but he's got a lot of you know that Hey this is a possibility that it's a situation where you might not see me and the last time that happened for the cowboys but the franchise that was in twenty fifteen with Dez Bryant showed up sparingly the offseason program didn't sign his contract until minutes before that July fifteenth deadline and then what happened today yeah early on in that year really what Dez Bryant that whole season and maybe not the rest of his of his career so it's not using his side of the leverage W's mares eventually if both sides said they want to get this done it should be that hard I'm forcing threatened Hardbody thank that month that archer what about Amari Cooper I had the sense that they believe they'll be able to get something done with Amari before free agency opened in outlook there correct the whole if the CBA classes yeah one dag if it doesn't pass gets you tag structure on these contracts is kind of tied into what happened with players vote but the sense what Amari Cooper is that they believe that they're going to get a deal done my guess is it'll be a shorter deal than we see in the cowboys do with their big time stars you know for five six years I don't think will be a deal that would be that long with this locking with a new head coach and it's really not adversity my opinion with dak Prescott because Todd Indian you guys right it's going to get a deal done with him it's going to get a deal with a mark Cooper so we're not gonna have this kind of cloud hanging over Mike McCarthy as head coach but now that they have with the town at his disposal what is that going to be like because we know he's the anti Jason Garrett but do the cowboys realize exactly what they've gotten into with Mike McCarthy yeah I I think if you look at the resumes of the coaches your available at the time it's hard to say anybody had a better one in with the nine playoff seasons for NFC title game but obviously the Superbowl thirty one at the at the cowboys home stadium in Arlington Texas so that is clearly what the cowboys wanted an upgrade around here forever yeah well you know since Parcells left right at a guy that has to close ranks as one of Superbowl knows what it takes if the quarterback not around it might because you said this the the this program is designed around the quarterback do you have kids that and everything else follows if that's not here I'm not one to make a huge deal over offseason programs and and all that but if you thought here for whatever tweaks will be in this offense because those languages in a largely be the same Gallimore gains the play caller but if he's not around but that's I mean I'm no not breaking news or that's not a good thing that's not the way you want to start a relationship between the the head coach and the quarterback through no fault of either guy like you just this is just the the business of the NFL that that's got to get in the way archer there's no basketball and hockey what are your hockey guy right there's no baseball yeah what are your kids that have little league is that how you're tying up your time right now well that's been canceled through my daughter plays flex soccer and and their stuff is been pushed off to the side for a couple weeks as well so I help now what I guess like I gotta hop in the peloton a little bit more I got rid of we are real quick I don't know what the total time to give to you I get from a family member it was a birthday present from my for my wife to me so settle him as a result of that is that you love but okay all right we've not made a commercial so we're going forward we are holding when it comes to Todd hi Sir yes municipal job with reporters always give him a follow at "Found grandeur jury on George and this is skylines the metric in a few weeks time. England goes to the polls the this year's around Merrill elections we could elections up in in London obviously Aristide colonies facing facing it to an optically impressive challenge. That's almost but he will have to get reelected. And there's also merit elections in several regions in the West Midlands Tori and the street to the Tory. Despite that campaign the two mysteriously green and Blue Mesa challenge from Labour's Liam Berm Bello Soobee Moore elections in the Liverpool City region. Where let's let's be on TV over? It's going to win that one in the Tees Valley. We're torey been housing less likely. When is the twenty seven team around is facing Labor Challenger but this week we are to Manchester which is rich? Manchester's the site of the big merit election may which anti-burn very prominent. Labor politician will be facing off against well. We entity new yet which is curious because we really not far from from the election now but he will have to have to win an election against against somebody. Liberal Democrat candidate by the way. It's a check with Andy Kelly so I can tell you that much the conservative well who knows never mind. That's not mom's away on shoulder. Got Time to you to someone and win on but you know. Manchester is oversee One of the more interesting city regions to watch in terms of the development of Britain devolutionary gender in terms of. You know what you can do to fix up a person just drew city and he's you know both one of the most exciting and one of my favorite English cities and a lot of. She's about Manchester and I also love excuse to talk to Jen Williams. The politics and policy editor of the evening news is one of the best journalists working outside the London bubble in this country. The country been a much better states. The more people doing the reporting the janitors around country but anyway like he loves came on the cost took about the numerous fiasco so before we before we go to antebellum and his prospects for reelection as what we should stop that. Could you give us a bit of an update on? Who's coming up with new route? What's happening trades gin? So the government has effectively re-nationalized Merrill Contracts weeks ago. I don't think that came into surprise to anybody. Grunt chaps announced that he'd be reviewing the franchise back Newton and then there was a kind legal process where they couldn't actually say what I preferred option for. It was united choice was basically between renationalising it and giving it to the operators last thought or essentially redrawing empowering back the existing contracting giving and realistically from political point of view it was very difficult to ever see them doing anything other than re-nationalize it because it wouldn't exactly go down by well if they just gave it up to north and obviously the northern leaders had been calling for that. Andy Burnham calling for that in reality the politics around that has been played quite well biology Burnham because he made sure that he's been ahead official the way through cooling for it to be re-nationalized when in reality. I think everybody had known for quite some time. The franchise heading on chill default under the point reached financial. Default was going to be the bad that the government is going to be able to step in. So you know anti-burn who's obviously now able to take credit for something that I think that people knew is probably going to happen anyway. So he's later quite well. The operation last-resort takes over at the beginning of March and we are in a funny situation for northern route. Because actually there's GonNa be a number of improvements fairly quickly which have nothing whatsoever to do with the re-nationalization new contract so after years and years and years. You've just speech without Steph over Sunday working. That has been a kind of a deal in principle struck as of a couple of weeks ago. Which means that suddenly Sunday services looking car lot more reliable and that has nothing whatsoever to do with you at all coming in. That's not that have basically finally got lined and that also be some new rolling stock coming in again rolling. Stock would have come in anyway so I think some of the initial improvements that people are going to say that probably going to. I'd have to think of because of the nationalization but they probably would have happened anyway. The difficulty I think that both Andy Burnham the government again to have is demonstrating significant progressed just by giving it to the law. I think that there's a kind of expectation that the franchise will probably be best managed that maybe customer service will be the better things will just kind of look and feel of better but fundamentally one of the big drivers for the May two thousand. Eighteen meltdown was directed the infrastructure where can essentially Manchester? That was supposed to have been done. Hasn't been done so there's only so amazing that you're only you ever going to be able to get up until you do that work and that's still not been signed off. There's some hope that that might be. The budget. Perhaps certainly Greater Manchester and transport the north lobbing pretty hard on that and saying that they need to do the expounded to work at Piccadilly. Meant to be done yeah extra platforms and other bits and pieces of through. The castle filled corridor. Which had I think they went through? All of that are necessary. Hoops spark in Twenty fifteen. I think on that it's just been hanging around ever since Chris growling sent out to network rail for review network. Rail came back and said yes. This is kind of the only way that we can fix this. So then thought his continued to just sit there somewhere in government so the only way really certainly according to transpose the north and Andy. Burnham that you're going to be able to at least make services more reliable through the central Manchester is to cut up timetable and their argument is to say until we've got the infrastructure in place. You call them owners money services through this corridor's as had originally been intended at least if we cut back timetable. A bit thought means those services will be a bit more. Reliable government seems to be pushing back a little bit on that. So we'll say but I think the big question is going to be this time. Say this time next yet. Is it fundamentally GonNa Fail and look that much better? It probably will look back faster but until you've done infrastructure work is not going to be kind of radically different other thing I mean. I wonder if the government's made a bit of a real trick zone back here. In the past it has some blame whereas now who is it going to blame when it turns out actually because these extra platforms have been built because timetable is too ambitious for the infrastructure? The trains is still not great. It's it's just going to have to take responsibility itself as well. I mean you would have thought so. I mean that's kind of been my point or the way three this it's like will this conservative government that promise this stuff and then didn't get it done. And last a franchise than didn't match up with the available capacity. I think they're going to use the Williams. You've you've been to derail entities hall as a way of saying well. Look we've taken holistic approach to all of this whole rail industry and we're going to redesign everything on data around sir. I think that's probably what they will. They will say Bu- I think I think on the capacity mid-century von Chester. I think something's GonNa have to be signed off if they say is and certainly the noises coming out of government sound quite positive probably more positive than they are over. Things like passwords conversations. I've had have been Seminars few weeks have sounded like actually we might get these extra platforms and piccadilly and when Boris Johnson does h has to announcement on Tuesday and it was briefed before hundred will be some two extra northern bits and bobs with it that had been kind of speculation that might be platforms fifteen and sixteen which wasn't in the end. It was both services. But that's the kind of level of expectation in Greater Manchester. Something my achy NASA dot moving on it okay. Cool I mean the thing. I think we should probably tell you before we move onto to local politics is this is just one franchise like the Novum franchise is a lower the November on that work but there is a transparent right which is from contract and loose approve number liable for some of the same reasons. I mean there's anything happening with that. Yes transparent nine. That performance is actually worse than northern route. Almost a chance. Both yesterday said they were doing something around their performance. Measure common for exactly what? It was now but something that anti-burma talked about sort of saying that actually you're on your last. This is your last Iran. I really if you don't improve pre significantly then we're going to be pushing the government go to allow on you as well. Yeah that'S TRANSPORT FOR NORTH OF SET. Basically a public target for how fast they won't be to improve and certainly last time. I interviewed a rail minister. Which would have been about three weeks ago? He was saying that they had sat down with. Tpa that they had made it very clear to what it was that needed to be done and that the government had gone away relatively satisfied that they ruled on the same page that it was going to be sorted out. There was a meeting of transport for the north backing denotes about a month ago and Trans Pennine with a and their explanation for their problems. Were slightly different to Knowlton's explanation although still infrastructure issues but one of the things was to do with a really big delay on rolling stock coming online and that was the thing that they were pointing is obviously quite difficult from the outside to know. How much is the real reason for them? Not being very good but I certainly what they're saying so it sounds so in a way that maybe they weren't on people's radar say a year ago. It sounds like they are now on the government's radar they are on funds writer. And I'm Burnham's talking about a little bit more as well. But he's mainly hanging everything on northern unwanted one of the reasons people think that that could be the case is that he is keen to get power over his local railway network. I'm not is northern northern rail services. So that's kind of. That's a theory about why he's precede Nolan harder than he's besieged. I think the other reason is that it was quite clear as a full the the direction of travel with northern that they were going to go into default so she this is winnable argument. Where is that may not necessarily be the case teepee but certainly? There's a lot more noise around. How RUBBISHED EP OFF? Now so we'll just have to wait and see whether actually got some better okay. We'll fingers crossed on that one. That's how it goes. Let's talk about the great man himself. Let's talk about Andy Burnham. He was elected nearly three years ago with a with. I mean let's be. Let's be honest about this. It was a massive mandate. Wasn't he did jealous. He got something like sixty percent of the votes. On on first preferences he over performed we would expect a generic Labor candidate to be. There was a clear VERTU confidence for him in the way that I haven't been for a lot of narrow candidates what's he done with that? What's what's he spent the last four years to. Sarah thank. Does this two sets of kind of ways. I guess he hasn't he could exhibit powers math. And you've got to remember the this position didn't exist before there. So he's effectively defining what it is to be a city..

"You know it's like free range if it's on camera and it's free reigns and they're like me and Kelly's like free rein free range of three brain tumors a free rein and you just see Tamara's mind ticking. Like rain is free. Why would not be acid rain? But the CHAZ survey now she was having a hard time figuring that out out so then what about that funeral comment. You said you weren't going to say anything to Vicky. You told you told Shannon Shannon wanted to be a bitch she she would say what Kelly Kelly's funeral comment Vicky and then an hour later later Tamra said the comment was like oops sorry drunk again drunk drunk again and Kelly's like with a high it was. It was hot she goes. Oh yeah yeah that was it was it was it was hyperbole hyperbole hyperbole purposely because he's like you say that coq so then Question Kelly does the group Rag on camera a little bit you too much too much. Blame and Kelly's you know what at least hammer can own it. You're andy some people. Get the point fingers as you know what I'm saying like are you listening to me. David David she goes off. You say you got a bill to you. By the fact I'm alluding to so Like wow well I would love to know. I would love to know what I did to hurt you. Okay I would love to know how does a good friend Jessica friend add commercials very important and then we come back and Santa's like well. I take responsible bowl bowl like she's so frustrated can't say responsibility and Kelly and Andy Kelly with did Shannon due to hurt using. So you like Jenin's like I appreciate it. Our friendship and I thought we had fun going out together. And I say all the time in interviews that we do that. I am sad and disappointed for what's happened to our friendship is blossoming. But I I know that I'm a good friend and and I'm not gonNA prove it to you or anyone else and you don't believe that I had your back then. I'm done than than I than I am. That I'm dying. It's it's like what I said. That Peleton Mike I am done now. How do I get out of you back with me? Well if only David held onto me as much in his path on bike did so Kelly just keeps yelling. I'm getting it sounds like I didn't even that Andy says so. Do you think that Shannon had anything to do with the train remember like nobody talks about the other time and then we get a montage Osaman not really sit talking Kelly but just being like well you know Kelly just says things and she should not say things like I do not like saying that the thing is like Shannon loses her shit at things like the only party. I'm going to his funeral. How could you joke about somewhat? Well then Tamra goes well. You have to challenge that. She has motherly. She's motherly which was her way of defending Shannon and also declaring that she's much older than everyone else it works on two different levels tavern. It does that we like every comet. She's also dissing her friends and then less than the other people deep also exactly Kelly goes. Just lean advice your relationship. That's just a friend that I am and if you don't want friends sat trying to make you into a better person and take my friend. My friend told me that she she got a private investigator on me. Ooh Ooh a China because she was like a shadow has like she heads go they just stare at each other at the same title. They know about Robert so yeah so Shans get is insane. I don't have time for that. I'm seven cream. Cheese into salmon was found. Ira We are a private investigator and I'm happy. I'm a happy person. I don't do that. What unhappy people do? And she's like I've worked for. Are you Kelly cats I would never hire a Pi on anyone and Kelly's like Oh. Don't worry about me I have my own life. I'm jet-setting rather he's like. Well how do you say that they don't bother you when you just set your being attacked all the time she was good run a TV show. It's like a beret. Andy ask the bereaved of tax. BARADE- smiles like yeah So so emily is like but like do you. Ah I think it's emily says Jewish miss your friendship with Kelly or something like that and then enchant after what she did with a lawsuit that I'm involved he talked about Las. It's it's going crazy over there. Vicki is has made the new rule that we're not discussing it since Vicki's already gotten gotten like ten lies about the lawsuit that she filed but it wasn't a loss but a restraining order even though she'll sue you if if you talk about her yeah okay so then here we gal this the fucking editors okay. I well I was. I was GONNA jump to just so I don't confuse anybody. They are so shady because Kelly Tax Jimbo. Lean out this whole. They've been making it one little tweet that Kelly just tweeted something and it's like innocuous it didn't seem like anything but Kelly actually sent cymbeline attacks which was a lot more significant mm-hmm. Yeah but that's a lot more significant than tweet and here we are being like. Oh she only tweeted that sort of like annoying. Cause I've also I feel set up by the show. Yes they're tricking us. It's not cool so so anyway. That comes a little later but first of video leaks about a video league starring Tamra saying that Kelly allegedly pushed her mother down the stairs. And that that spurred the tweet about the lawsuit but she saw was just a fan video taping. That was video of a fan. Yeah that was taping. You the edited down okay. Well we saw the full video and Timbre is still purposely on camera bringing up that Kelly through mysterious awesome. Yeah we look like what's the difference like a pretend defense. She's saying like people talk so much shit around people when they're not when they're not there. It's like when Vicki said that Kelly Kelly the mom down the stairs. Yeah well this is supposed to be you talking about how people are talked about Kelly. But you're also like you said you're also like kind of just staring purposely bringing it up on camera and give it to someone else. Yeah so so Kelly's based like look. That's just what I saw I saw. I saw that video and I reacted because it looked like it was saying that about me. You know. And she's like you know what the worst part about all of this is. I used to cry on the phone to can't we Mike Shannon who do not cry on the phone okay. Like you call up Domino's just to cry on the phone to them. Yeah no kidding. And you're not doing anybody a favor by being their friend and calling them up and crying to them for twenty hours or whatever you know you're like please. Yeah I was friends with. I would call her crime every day about this good riddance and kill whatever Shannon. You gotta dismissed and she goes. I'm still the two years out from this. This quarter of a million for years of my children's College. Yeah I didn't do anything like you sent a text Timbo Lino you offer yourself to be a character witness years you say. Did you like why so cheerful about it. Just dropped that in like what was it. Empty Threat doesn't MP3. Kelly you can't do that. It is a lawsuit crying out loud. You gotta be careful of Emily's like Kelly would never be a witness to anything. Nobody you know that. Sounds like she's saying what we said like. Nobody's GonNa Call Kelly to the stand. It's like Kelly. What did you see all pig Kelly? Sorry I'm just want the. UC's not a nice guy so Totally backfire so now Shannon is doing this whole sob story thing. She's like back. Let me tell you something please. When I tell the story please please try why not to remember the fact that I just one one point four million dollars and I'm getting ten thousand dollars a month? I have lost four years of tuition wishing money. Okay that's two hundred fifty thousand dollars. Okay my daughter can still go to college but can't go to college as easily as it was for her to go before okay K.. Guess what's happening right now. Okay so what is this lawsuit about anyway so terms like okay. Okay have the McDonald's answered some questions ask some questions. We answered there was about pop culture. And things like that. And then like we're just to ask you about beliefs and now we're talking about divorce and we answer them and he didn't like what he said. So we sued US Kelly who found something echoes full. And then you open up your mouth yet. Kelly's like sucking on offense because I know my stupid mouth and they're like they were. They take accountability and they were like an so victim mode like they're like oh no tuition left to send a child to school. ooh Oh two years out and you open your fat. And they're like look I. That was my moment one of my biggest moment but I mean and just to further the point. We've made a million times. Kelly had nothing nothing to do with this story. They way Outta podcast. They were asked equestrian. Jimbo Lino didn't like the answer. They got sued. That's you and the person that sued dude you. Okay Yeah. Kelly offering to be a with a character witness. GimMe a break anybody with a TV could be a character witness to yokels. Give me a break I know. Oh you guys really concerned. Are you really concerned I tell yeah exactly. There's like hours and hours of footage. Also why this case still going on by the way that's crazy. Listen listen I'm Shannon and this yeah Montana infanticide with this case. Don't get me wrong but I mean like why is this case happening. Why is this case? Not how how is it not been thrown out. Yeah this is ridiculous. So they're just Kelly's eating your losses Shannon's having a fit now because Kelly's just shitting all over their victims story and she's like take accountability Santa's like well at least I don't tell people to shut the fuck after their face. Really do you want me to count the amount of time. So you've said GOP or fuck you bitch today. It's been a lot and we're only like in the first part of this is that it's not my fucking plate. You Bet you bit so so anyway. So now we have the Vicki versus Kelly segment and this montage is on real housewives of New New York levels because the roadies montages are just like every single one of them put them in the Library of Congress. Okay this one between Kelly and Vicky I was just perfection like I think I wanna like just save it and somehow put in a frame and have a playing on on my wall at all times. I mean it starts with Vicky Walking Party and Kelly going. WHO's the SASQUATCH? It is so low. Oh I would this point. I was like well. Why why am I sick to hypocrite? Like why is it. I crack up when Kelly does this. I would freak out if somebody else. It was like that and I don't know it just makes me laugh. I think it's very. She has such conviction odd. Yeah she just she just goes so low with such conviction and like like so shamelessly. You know it's like last week when Vicky was was was like you know they when she's talked about my appearance that was nice like how many beauty pageants and she has like. I look better than you. You don't like she just cuts through the bullshit yet so wrong but awesome. It's hilarious and just watching her yelling Vicki and being like shut the fuck up there before like you saw fuck is just like it's like a parade of insults and it is so funny Gosh so Andy Psych So Oh guys okay. So then he's like God Vicky. I've seen you get pushed to the limit on. This show is just like do it right. There disrespect disrespect disrespect. And he's like so but you in Key West on the street screaming and she's like so because after by the go on your knock on your tallies like whatever Vicky Kelly Abba question about this. Dm About your child so how can someone DM your kid did she does it. And that's how instagram works. Vicky has figured out technology can't wait for that podcast. She's like I. I love it had.

"People were queuing around the block to go to this place. They couldn't really open them fast enough demand he expanded the chain rapidly on critics. Say That's when the quality and consistency of the food went down. How involved personally was with his business? My understanding is that with Jamie's Italian it was a business that was run quite separately and he might have thoughts thoughts on the menu and so on but it's not like he would be getting any of the kitchens I mean do you think he spread himself too thin. I think there's definitely an argument for there was a whole Plethora of small restaurant groups that he tried to run those Bob Beco which was kind of barbecue style restaurant that was Jamie's Dina which was kind of American style. Thing though is James Daly. Those Union Jacks which I think it was a cafes. I think he's previously Veasley said that forty percent of his business ideas fail. What's his net worth? It's around two hundred and forty million. Blimey he got very rich each but it's not all been successful Jamie Oliver. Tell us what happened in. May this year Jamie's restaurant empire which included James Italian and the London fifteen restaurants went into administration. When Jamie's Italian opened over a decade ago the landscape was of course entirely different in the end? He's dining empire has been undermined by a shift away from outlets like this all of his restaurants path three in the UK glazed raised many times. Have you said to four hundred people. The show's over. It was the most often experience in my life. Had they seen that coming. All the restaurants have been having having difficulties for a number of years and twenty seventeen. They caused six restaurants of Jamie's Italian and then the following year. They closed about another twelve. I was very naive at the time I was good at running one restaurant. I wouldn't school myself businessman. And he had put more than twenty million into into the business to try and keep it afloat or open lots of big restaurants and I think people like smaller medium size restaurants. And that's you kind of have these big cathedrals that you can't Phil suppliers were road. Millions of pounds. You mentioned stuff and suppliers. I mean we spoke to a couple of people off the record who were involved in. His restaurants are suppliers is and they said what happened was absolutely devastating for them. What happens when a business goes into administration is that the administrators selloff Allah whatever assets? They can find pay off the debts. So if you're the bank you've probably got secure that so you will be paid first but the small suppliers people providing Ding Food and so on there at the bottom of the list. So we'll see what happens now. When's the end and we will try and sell what we can from from hearing from the other sites across the country Expectations to set that high. In terms of what we're going to realize at the peak he had more than forty restaurants and actually even today. Hey there are. Three Jamie's branded restaurant still operating in the UK. They're all in Gatwick airport proper cooking. You know we're not reading stuff in. Microwaves you'll save franchised out. His name said those are two this franchise business done this for a business opportunity. We haven't done this for a laugh. Hopefully we're going to succeed and in fact another restaurant. He didn't directly rum but was part of his brand. Fifteen in Cornwall shutdown. Last week he said in a statement he was surprised by closure which suggested he didn't know it was happening. Ano- is different because it's a not for profit being run by I charity but it did make me think that when you name is being used by another organization how do you guarantee the quality. Well that's all in a franchise is agreement. Say Well they pay for the right to use the name. There are certain limits and controls on. How the restroom look what the food is going to be in there? What the menu might be a but did everything that he ran himself collapse? That's right yeah running a restaurant especially at that mid market level seems incredibly tough both how has it become so competitive private equity investors pumped a lot of money into the casual dining sector because it was seen to be a a growth industry at a time when retail was struggling. If you just look at the Italian sites you've had college as Straw preser- OSC pizzas izzy. Huge amount of competition. Just in Italian area. Never mind sort of hacker or other kinds of food types that were competing for the same pound that coming onto pressure on a number of chain. They've Hutsi close site. The whole industry has come under pressure. What's happening owning an industry? That's made them come under pressure. So there's a combination of factors business rates have gone up. The minimum wage has risen because the fool and the value of the pound since the Brexit exit. Vote a lot of ingredients and other things that have to be bought from abroad. The cost of buying those has gone up and for those reasons. I was pretty surprised. Read that he's now opening another chain. That's mid range. When I was talking about the two parts to his restaurant empire you had the he ran himself and that was all closed? Used and then you have the franchise and this new concept is just another kind of part of that portfolio and they will be overseas from. I understand so it's cool Jamie but it's not ready Jamie. Has Anything changed in the way he does things he he does seem to have wanted to make change and his announced that his business will become a be cool Be Core is a special category of business where social impact on environmental issues a space to rank equally with prophets. And you have to go through a whole process of accreditation patient where people examined the way that your businesses operating in order to be registered as one. So that's some see him trying to show that he wants to do business. Jason Different Way. We have Jamie the Great Chef and campaigner and Sarah has told us about Jamie as a business person. Why hasn't he been able to run more successful restaurant businesses? I feel that that is a bit of a disconnect within the business I feel that. So you have Jamie's recipes stand the test of time and you have his campaigns and then you have the restaurant Sida there and these partnerships partnerships with people show and. I think that was potentially the problem that there was no join up. There's so many of you millions of you every single week gun around the country trying to grab food on the go and we want to do better event to join up with Shell but I knew nothing about this until the other day when when I walked into petrol station. I don't want to be patronizing about You know we all love aginst as I love agendas but petrol. Petrol stations are famed for their quality. Food now food on the go has always been kind of related with fast. Food junk food is being in need of a little pushing up a lovely looking wrap with roasted vegetables and honestly it was like eating rubber ball. It was so tasteless. Isn't it damaging big for his brand to be associated with. Yeah why is he doing it. I honestly don't know it kind of screens a little bit of what Happen with Jamie's Italian I mean if the quality's not just damaging your brand so what's next for him well his business is now Committed to having shelter to be the ST By twenty thirty and I hope that Jamie continues to campaign in this way. Because that's the reason I want to work for him and I'm sure others did too. That was an a barrel who is acting deputy editor of Peace Magazine Business Writer. Sarah Butler do go to the website side to read that work coming up on E. Kelly on the Congolese cobalt miners taking tech giant's to call You're probably using a smartphone right right now but how much do you know about cobalt. It's a key material in the makeup of your phone and it supply chain is now being challenged in a landmark mount legal case pitting Congolese families against tech giant's The Guardian and observers. Andy Kelly explains so many people may not have even heard of cobalt but cobalt is essential to power any rechargeable lithium battery. That's used a millions of products sold around the world. Every year so without Kabul's we couldn't be charged smartphones. We couldn't be charged computers and we couldn't power any electric cars insatiable demand for Kabul has tripled in the past five years and is expected to double again by the end of twenty twenty. And what's extraordinary is that more than sixty percent of the world's cobbled originates in the Democratic Republic of Congo which is one of the poorest and most unstable countries in the world.

"To what a lot of the NFL news today give us the backstory on Clowney now be in a Seattle Seahawks well talking to someone close to the situation they feel that maybe just maybe in fact the least a little bit Pamela you're very quiet and you know what and of course it stems from the fact that they don't have a general manager hello Brian making these decisions and I was already shaking you know in the in hindsight it looks fine but then the third round draft pick produce Johnson because you know but at the time you didn't know Lamar Miller was gonna be you know it's going to be injured but jokes not an every down back would you trade at the ramp for him why couldn't you make up your mind about this before July he doesn't think that so that makes the straight so disastrous for the taxes because they didn't have much of a market for him because no team can sign him to a contract extension right now because the franchise tag deadline path of July fifteenth you for number one your tender so any place you want you can sort of a rental player you cannot have a wink wink nod nod agreement in place there's too many think that your course at the legal under Annabel walls but you know knock on wood Richard at the on gets hurt and then you're you're not gonna want to sign into the big contract that you promised right so go look for the technical it's to get that type of return or an elite level pass rusher and I know we have the other bit of double digit stock kind it's cooler but it does affect the quarterback for Seattle district makes perfect sense and they give up scraps they give up one guy they're probably gonna cut in Martin or mango I mean these are these are just average players in a third round pick Bridget Debbie and cloudy I mean if your checks and spent your just shaking your head in the basement the some of the things that go back to the calls they want to be called a better chance to win the division now now looking at this this obviously and Alex are are you this is TJ Hey if you look at this OB I said earlier that the Texans got robbed of a great player or possibly great player now if you're the eagles in you know this is what it was going to take to get him wow when you just give up a second round pick and you pretty much stay injury free solidify yourself as the favorite for the Super Bowl it makes no sense to know what your your the thing number one I don't have information on that number two maybe it's because he felt that he wanted to go to the Seattle Seahawks remember today IBM quality controls on destiny and if you don't like what he's heard from Pete Carroll you'd like that organization and he targeted them but he could have walked a tree to the eagles just like you did with the dolphins so I think that may be a lot of opportunity so I'm not sure you know to my knowledge I don't think he has any personal close ties to anyone that you're in the in the Seattle area all you know the tontine mark I'm not sure how many guys from South Carolina on that lost off the top of my head well that is a possibility of why this was potentially blocked and maybe he feels to which the adult you've got a better chance of getting a huge money contract in future years and approve a deal with them rather than you know on this one your franchise under maybe then enter in Philadelphia why I just don't see the eagles as being well heeled enough to offer him a long term contract extension hi all right should be legal to sweeten the pot sure maybe they should but they maybe they feel that strongly about Clowney either and maybe they have their parts just how much you want to give up teacher yeah I am I'm not his clan a guy I'm just not I mean it would when you have JJ what he should have done more he should have been a double digit sack I first overall pick in the draft every single year hi the Texans for a moment here any chance are going to give a shady McCoy call I agree well I think it will kick the tires on him I don't think they're the only ones though and there's a whole bunch of interesting teams right now you know that that he could end up at and it's a great thing for shady to be able to to pick his gene you might just get out white lilies for example all tarantulas Chargers that they feel that they're going no where with Melvin Gordon do they sign shaking McCord others the hedge against moblie Gordon potentially not coming back and missing an extent of time a you know that all the body over the region thank you Sir with the Texans step up and say okay we'll trade for Melvin Gordon we want him and you know in shady records and goes to the Chargers one thing to think about their so you're gonna have market first services but it what it tell you true though I mean the bill didn't do this out of the goodness of their heart they had a running back who is set to make six million dollars and nobody wanted shady records six million dollar to these thirty one years old coming off a down season so I think that tells you a little bit there I mean I just I hope that she has a great year for this you know or is that whatever team the players for well let's try to keep a little bit of perspective here on JT at this point if you were that good a player I'm a bigger bills with a condom and of course you look back in retrospect we can market your deductible we can mark the Buffalo Bills as well because what what you're doing not trading shady records last year when he actually had some trade value around the deadline to make deals a special on the boat up eagles game called I I I look at it number one the charges seem happy with what they have I don't see them going after the some acquire I think the Texans are the perfect fit for him now now can we transit do you think Ezekiel Elliott speaking of running backs we'll be there to first gang first game but I don't know if he'll be in uniform I think there's you know Adam Schefter just reporting a little while ago that that quote talks are heating up and you know eventually someone's going to get the story you know because you've got so many mixed reports about contract negotiations between cowboys and Andy Kelly had no levels trying to be first on unnecessarily trying to be white and I'm not knocking out of chapter but at some point this deal I think will get done but for your trailer cal boys in your side if you believe Jerry Jones and I believe them in this sense about the long season if you're gonna be having with the cowboys and always open this is the playoffs heat do you want to work out on the field when he hasn't had any training camp what sort of a and you know not even practicing with the team I know we does the playbook and things like that but you know you want to avoid salt muscle tissue injuries wanna make sure that you're going to be there and you're not in a position where they get injured and not have to miss more time so I think that they were very well could be a deal done which which you know we want to get the giants maybe it will make a we would also see him on a bit of a pitch count ten fifteen snaps you just hope it's only power handle the load of Medicare the cowboys in your thanks for but you can win a game or two without sure you know what I did did you all get on the field but I think ultimately both sides know what's what's your deal done particularly if you got to make more than three point eight million dollars in base salary this year I get it but there's only so much you have from a leopard standpoint as well besides making games and eliminating it he met at that you don't get paid gonna be the highest paid running back in football well we'll see if Jerry Jones goes back on his word what Stephen Jones said which is we are not interested in studying the market for running back just make it a well you'll actually talk Garlits now Alex Alex Marvin's joining us among his many duties he's a member of the pro football hall of fame selection committee outside you never having this conversational earlier Alex I was trying to explain to him what you told me when T. O. is passed over by some of the members of the pro football hall of fame suction many for a couple years not so much about what was happening in the locker room as it was about dropped passes TJ countered by saying that anyone they did not vote Teo first ballot hall of fame should be stripped of their privilege as being a hall of fame selector your response all that now are you know listen and there's something about it I think that when you look at it from a team standpoint the guide to drive believers achievement of yours foresees Michael no he wasn't you watch something and to try to train with seo for a few years yeah yeah I know that I respect the guy but I understand why voters felt the way that they did because of the fact that he could be a disruptive force at times on a jeep now that you know so far would be able to that's it and also a subject of debate because they're going to be some players you say absolutely we want to DO we stand by to you we thought it was great we really enjoyed having him around there may be others you just don't feel that way but you know the funny thing about first ballot type stuff I I mean what it used to be that you have to wait to get on the pro football hall of fame you're really good at Parcells was a first ballot pro football hall of Famer voters didn't put him in the first shot there were some things that they were concerned about it you know maybe that he was going to come back to football or you know just don't be stopped I thought it was a first ballot pro football hall of Famer but it wasn't but indicate the T. O. I just think that some people in again it wasn't between the lines in terms of production I just think it was a question about him as a G. rated the thinking that her Charles Haley in a way because Charles Haley helps five Superbowl rings is one of the great task forces of all time but he was an extremely destructive for anyone reddit and it's interesting that you know the help for you know some of the psychological things babbling but it wasn't a Charles Haley wasn't a great player Yeltsin we got in just wasn't.

"Right around the corner. We also played a little senior superlative game with them, and you guys will say I have to agree with who they picked as their favorite celebrity follower. You'll just have to watch or listen to what happens. Guys, we are here with Julie and Emma from comments by celebs. Hey guys. Hi, how are you? Good. We're so happy to be here. The having of course they keep coming. So I think the first question I have to ask, is how did you come up with this idea? Oh my God. It's so what happened in April two thousand seventeen right? Scrim changed our algorithm, to kind of highlight verified comments. And we were seeing these interactions that we hadn't seen before. And we knew that we had to capitalize on it. So started the account, I brought Juliane for day two and here we are. And how did you guys know each other before we met at Syracuse? Okay. So I was senior when she was a sophomore. And I was the covert crewmen chair for our sorority kind of recruited ju- lead to be on the sophomore committee of girls to get to know the freshman, and it's a good sorority story. I went to ethica too so very close. Very close. Yes. Yes. So you guys have one point one million followers. Was there one particular post that kind of changed everything that gained a lot of momentum and brought that amount of people in would you say there is one? Post took it. We never asked about a particular post. I don't think it was one post. I don't think it was one. I think if anything it was different celebrities taking a liking, so, like Kelly Ripa when she started talking about on the on her show that get into a lot of traction, and things like that that's been definitely the moments where we've seen major surges. I was gonna also like if there's a particular post, I'd say, the peon Arianna post where they like I confirm their relationship by commenting, I was kind of the first one that went viral violence news. Right. So you mentioned Kelly Ripa can you name drop a few other celebrities that? Yeah. Andy Kelly, Guana Chris layer, Chrissy a lot. I don't know. We've been in the coolest part about this honestly just getting, you know, to know all these people. Yeah. Do you often find that like people are sending you comments when they find them? And then that's how you post or do you kind of stumble upon them yourself? Oh, no. They definitely said. Get a lot of them. Thank God, though. Thank God, what was one that you got recently that you were surprised by? Recently. We'll just this morning. I woke up to a lease rent a class act, which I always love. It was someone saying that she was too old to Coachella. And she was like listened on. You're wasting your time commenting on my post or something like he's good. She's good. I think most recently was two days got that we posted a Chrissy classic which is we always say it's always funny when the celebrity takes time to go to the trolls profile that have clapback that like has something to do with they've research. Right. So she did one it was baking girl. I don't know an ad. She talked. She said something about one of cookies or something. And it was so funny. Like you're just imagining the celebrity taking the time. Right. So is it just you guys managing it? Or is it becomes something where you feel like you need more support as or anyone else on your team? Well, it's just us an January. We hired fulltime one of our good friends Isabelle who kind of does like communications press. We needed one other person from business aspect now have manager so that's also really helpful and then the podcast you just how long ago did you launch that? He started at July, July two thousand eighteen we do twice a week. So one regular. And then one bonus episode that's kinda crashing focused. Talk about that. To gold mine. So I want to get into a couple individual like franchises and just see if you guys have any favorite moments from some of our show. So real house of Orange County zero big icon, ick moment. What was your.

"I'm Mark Elliott, Jamie Kelly is the managing partner of Kelly capital partners. Glad you're with us. We're talking about some of the reasons why you really may not be able to retire on time. And I think for most of us weren't talking about stock market volatility. We're talking about diversification. Easy to go back. Just a decade two thousand eight if you're planning on retiring. Then the markets crashed. It was thirty forty fifty percent drop in a lot of people's portfolios. Your 4._0._1._K was becoming a two on K. You can understand the challenge there and a volatile market though, Johnny there's no question it's out of our control, right? We don't have any control of what happens in the market. And if we're planning on retirement, and we've got all of our hopes and dreams based on the market. That's kind of a what if retirement well, another thing that's completely out of our control. And it's known as the silent killer to our retirement is inflation. We are in a rising interest rate environment Janney, which typically means weren't a rising inflationary period. Why is inflation such a force to consider when planning for retirement? Yeah. I mean, of course, inflation definitely needs to be considered when you're planning your retirement because while costs for goods and services might be one price as you retire doesn't mean that those prices are not going to increase over the years, and let's face it. That's definitely going to happen. Janey things. Once you retire. Everything should just lock in place. That'd be nice. That'd be. But when you think of inflation Mark inflation, it's essentially the rate at which the price of goods and services increase over time, which you can raise your cost of living is what happened. So the result of inflation is that it diminishes your purchasing power and those dollars in your pocket that money doesn't go as far as it used to be able to go. So even low inflation needs to be considered really because it still can have an impact over time. And so when we discuss this risk just know that it could adversely affect your retirement goals, and what your desired standard of living. Is you go to the movies today? Janey I don't believe they cost the same as when we were back in high school. You know, it's a little bit more just the popcorn alone. My goodness. I used to be able to go you could go to the movies have a date have the snacks, and probably wouldn't spend ten bucks. Now. I'm not sure if you have just two of you. I'm not sure you get out of there for less than forty. I mean, that's probably pretty low even this product kind of crazy so janey, then how do we battle inflation and the threat? Set of inflation eroding our life savings. Well, there's protections against inflation built into income sources that you'll use for retirement, one of our primary sources for retirement income is social security social security benefits are indexed to inflation. So every year the consumer price index said they they're gonna look at that the third quarter of every year to determine what they're going to increase social security benefits to just to allow for those cost of living increase it. And they've done that two point eight percent is the increase of security last year was or this year two thousand eighteen but people receiving social security was two percent, right. But in two thousand seventeen point three percent in two thousand sixteen zero so two point eight is the biggest increase in social security since two thousand twelve right? So also, if you have a pension income stream also sometimes they do have increases for inflation. The have some inflation protection belt in some insurance products also scale their benefits to inflation. We see different. Luethi's also that will come with inflation writers. But inflation writers who just want to note that sometimes they're gonna have digital costs. So just wanna make sure you are aware of that. And do your research on that do your homework and always be aware though that investing in the stock market means having your assets exposed to market risk, and then, of course, potential loss certain types of bands can also play a role to help combat inflation. There's such a thing called tips, which is treasury inflation protected securities, and they come with inflation protection. But there's another option that you could utilize and that would be really delay retirement at work part time for some additional income for you. And that way, you the more you save that's just going to help you with inflation later on Kelly capital partners. We would be happy to help you get started with your customized retirement plan. And what this is going to include is our risk reward analysis us our cost comparative analysis, we're going to help you with your income analysis help you determine. When and how to take income in the crack tax efficient manner for you or us. We're happy to just give a second opinion. So give us a call at two four eight six two one three thousand that's two four eight six two one three thousand at Kelly capital partners. We'd really love to sit down with you and help you map out the Kelly capital partners roadmap two four eight six two one three thousand so Jamie. What happens when they call? So they say I like what janey saying I don't really have a plan in place. I think I've done a great job saving for retirement. But I'm not sure where I'm going to pull from what time in my retirement. I need a little bit more exact information. So they go I think I'm gonna call janey and the team at Kelly capital partners, two four eight six two one three thousand what happens then. Yeah. That's a really good question. And what happens is we just sit down with them and have a conversation. It's about finding out what their goals are. And what their concerns are and no pressure because we really want to make sure that what we do fits with what they need, and we always want to make sure we're able to provide value. So in order to do that, we just really need to have a conversation and. Dive down a little bit deep into your situation. And really find out what's going on with you. And what your goals are? And what you want accomplish. And what you want to achieve? So think about it. You're sitting in that movie theater? The curtain comes back and at your retirement. What is that movie going to look like and do you have a plan in place for that retirement? Because right now, you're the actor of that movie, you're the star. But you're also have the opportunity to be the writer director and producer to do that you need to sit down with somebody that understands the retirement world, that's janey and the team had Kelly capital partners. They're here to help you come up with that strategy that makes sense for your situation. There's nothing in the Kelly capital roadmap right now. There's nothing in it. Because janey hasn't sat down with you. Because it's really your information the plugs into the different areas. Correct. Right. Absolutely. That's why we need to meet with you. So that we can customize it your specific needs to your specific objectives that you're trying to accomplish. And funny thing you're talking about the movie theater, and the cost of everything I had a friend who when he would take girls on dates. He'd say, hey, meet me at the popcorn, you know, because you had to pay in the front to get in a good strategy. So they pay for themselves and beat him at the popcorn that way. He's only picking up the popcorn. So that's one way to strategize. There. If you're trying to save some money there for retirement, meet me if the popcorn unlike that that's a good strategy. He's probably well on his way to a successful retirement right now. Two four eight sixty one three thousand janey and the team again. There's no cost. There's no obligation. There's no pressure might be the most important phone call you make two four eight six two one three thousand. So we've talked about market volatility that could cause you have too much of your money invested in Wall Street that could cause you to delay retirement. You're not diversified in the right way for your situation that could cause you to delay retirement. What are some of the other challenges that might delay your your decision? And when you're going to be able to retire janey will inform us of that. Right. After this. This is Kelly Capela retirement talk, which Andy Kelly, managing partner of Kelly.
