"A d._j. Yeah he comes when she's very <hes> very well last year on testing ground exactly the same conditions this year. I don't see <hes> this this being any shortly she for him until he was one in the possibly don't even mention i still come over here at such a big richest yeah how he won that race sir you know we'll go down the as one of the great mysteries won't it but <hes> yeah i mean. He is a great one winner. He's got plenty of clouds and he has been having carry penalties as a result of <hes> some of these previous <hes> weans particularly first time up this season when he contested the brigadier gerald and he almost certainly would have been we need the room and he's trying to give free pounds of the we know regal reality small type and the runner-up metro news backing opposition here. I think if there was quick ground the matto would actually be a player but he comes when he's free pound better off. We met and conditions in his favor any big price so he comes win for me. Do you think now that it's rained. Matt owns a mountain to climb phone. Three thirty. Five is the <music> own barak up and other stamina test over a mile and six nile gives us show and then giving your idea of the winner yes so rishon is four to one favorite corelli's eleven to two alright sunshine seventy one air bansal eight one point nine two one time to study ninety one melting ten to one thousand nine hundred and yet when like he's he's heading american here's hsun and he won this last year very easily and he's just got a massive chance to win again. He wanted ninety. Last year is by tree to certain of with ninety trae iran cracker november handicap last year. It's actually worth watching the rates back to see iran at that was the pain higher so indefinitely sweltry made his trainer autry trains tree in the race who all the chances. I think the fact jim crowley is on this one would suggest this is obviously definitely got the best chance it would just make sense targeted this race and then go november. I'm andy capp again so i think it's been a long term type of yeah. I think he's beaten here gerald. Who's your fancy blakeney point for me in other. The mind spins kelly king was he this one play golf for them at the start waking said you must back blatantly point did well. I suppose i suppose really isn't it. The grounds got some good <hes> coast foam and i thought ran <hes> very well lost time at york <hes> over two mos b on eddie stone rock now that trip definitely stretches in most of his best form is actually a mile and a half although he has won over to. I think a mile in six might be ideal at this stage of his career. My only slight concern is that lost you did hang to the left <hes> quite badly in the closing stages and i don't think you're gonna wanna be on the far side at haydock if the grand session usually rice or middle to stand side so i hope that doesn't end up you know drew hanging away. He's challenged away to the foucault. I'd roba. I suppose that's a chance you just after tyke within music big enough price and he's on the way back and he's wendy kept. You'll says he's amazing using september fuhrman's. Well no idea about that. Yeah okay d._j. Whose your selection going here and going to try and show you.

The handicap or a meaningless disability, not at all making fun of the real ones. That's why we're calling them stupid. But like things you can't do like I've never been able to roll my RS ever really, really. I believe you already knew this. Can you try? You'd like my freaking kids, Mike, right? God hate that I hate people can do this. We're supposed to be talking about you, though. But I'll try flex where I can. Yeah. It, it sounds like I'm stroking out when I try it sounds. I'll I'll try. I know you're supposed to do something with your tongue in a of I'll try like the classic ruffles have ridges. All right. All. Quake remind I didn't like that. I don't want to hear it again. Ruffles have ridges. Her. Her off? Ruffles have. Is that it was that it? Stop. I'm sorry. I she made me. My, my fourteen year old son and my twelve year old daughter. Find it hysterical about, like, once every six months, they asked me to try that because they just want a mock me and how it looks right now. It seems like you should get better at it. If you keep practice. I cannot do I physically can't do. All right. Now, let's, let's turn this to you what I found out recently was not that you can't do it. But you say you can't do it. Well enough to be confident in winking. Correct. You can't wink. Well, no. Do you know the scene interested development or Lucille blue tries to wink? Flaps down. That's how I feel I. Yeah, I do know that see it kind of looks almost like if you caught a butterfly just as it died, and like wilted over. That's kind of. Yes, I feel I can't hold on. Wait. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait. Joe is in here. Look Joe Joe. Can you help us out Cleese date? Okay. Now Josie good-looking guy. Right. Pretend these straight from moment right now. You're in a bar now, which I are you gonna use because I can't see you as you right? Right. Okay. So you're looking at Joe and. Suck. God bad. Close. All right. So he stopped baby. He straight. Okay. Not is closed again, what both is closed again. Okay. All right. Pretend I'm young and better looking. So I could actually see your baby. She's literally closing both. Did you even realize that you can't do one? I thought it was just a bad way. But you can't even get close that time, ready. Yeah. Baby. But you have to concentrate for so long. Yeah, it's like a slow MO wink, and it looks almost spats, we used to work with someone who is a flawless Winker, and I envy him each and every day, who he used to work in the area that I'm pointing in. Well, you can't say his name, can I Chris night? Do you remember him winking? He was a hell of a winter, actually. Yeah. Right. Yeah. And like it wasn't even a flirtatious way it might just be like a like in the he could do the flirty wink. He could do it to another guy just like making a joke about and. Yeah, like not not at all. And he had like he had like an arsenal various winks right that he had like a repertoire. He was he was a very good Winker. And you're talking about one eight hundred two eight three one two one five make us feel normal. What normal thing can't you deal? What is your stupid handicapped because I can't be alone here. Okay. This also could be if you know somebody if you want to kind of, like, you know, have fun like ratting them out, who can't do a certain thing. But I've got a whole bunch of these that I can do so. Yeah. Feel free lettuce, as Kylie, let us know we're not alone. What is your stupid handicapped, what can't you do that you figure most normal people can one eight hundred two eight three one zero one point five? Can you snap your fingers? So freaking weird that you just said that because I was about to tell you how my daughter also just discovered recently that I cannot stand, my fingers, when I do it, it makes a sound, but it sounds like a fat thud rather than like a sharps, like it should sound like a sharp crack, right with almost like a report after it. Here. Yeah. That's why at least fingers, I cannot do it. Jussie can laugh me again. Yeah. Obviously. All right. I don't know. I don't even know if this probably not even enough for the Mike to pick up on it, but I need total. Silence. Then although already count me down. One. Oh, okay. You got something to say what a thumb science. That's exactly what I'm saying. It's like a fat thump one more time, please hold them to one. Fifteen to two stormy liberal ten to one wishful tinker twelve to one brave smash fourteens caribou club sixteens and his twenty them wrong would well can you take him on with if anything? Brian smash against him to be honest in racism the card. This is the one that I was inspired with it was difficult. Blue pointing Mike. Yeah. You could all you probably going win that you just wouldn't be back in zone. And then you looking for one against it's really you subscription around and bright, especially the good old. He puts me off. He hasn't gone strike, right? Anything for borough talking to see them win? If you more races over the years, but he has one cigarette. One is in Australia. Iran is twice place in the Newmarket. Andy CAPP mistrial, which is one of the big springs, and including last I'm out. So he comes into this insult form. Also, potentially a slot. Imagine rice, which is to say for six zero one. But there isn't a whole pace in there is Santa Molly Rhone long. He might take them along for a little while. But the grounds already been quick for him other not you scratch and Reynolds saying well, who's going to go on and we strong tonight. I mean, I think he's more of a five from six rolls. This is six. If he's a bit wound up, but he got on very well last year thing with Jones wasn't he was in. I think he basically a bit wound up in in the southern area or something whereas banged his nose scrumptious, something that wasn't sure where the blood is coming from. So he taken out as a precaution. Before. Now, he's had to perhaps it's time wrong one. So so take edge off who've been keeping calm. But if he's drawn I know he's in if there's not a hold on pace in the race in the no is maybe just cabinet. But so then you're probably scratching around a little bit. So price is if he is if he's a superstar and other here's a superstar. He's a good is a good host. And if it was far I'd say, he's probably the best six potentially. You. Don't get great cover on back in the mall zone. So Frank smash looks like a federal from tomatoes. Nick things. Yes. So proclaimed sort of known maiden expert always look at this race last night. And I thought museum he was quite interesting at fifty to one am I absolutely nuts? I mean is coca foam before behind act TR last time, and he's really flourished in may this campaign. She wouldn't put you off. I mean, I think even you could argue even better than he show last time because you off it is isn't it bit funny sometimes a bit funny can help with right? And last time was one of those races. Where he did miss the kick a little bit. So he gave himself quite a lot to do up into group company. The last thing you really want to do in this give it away ground the stop and she did still run. The ROY kept some third previous value may made all the handicapped here. So we have early speed, you know, talking about lack of speed in this race, if he was depending which isn't guaranteed, but if he does fly out of the gates he could you offer music is with good as well for now. So you get some good results. You wanna golden Jane series go this this trying to with krypton factor? You believe wasn't the superstar himself. So. Yeah. So fifty to one if bring point instability billion, absolutely, thanks fella me full of confidence. Nick, what do you think? I can't really nuts to what runs said about blue point. I think exactly the same for the two runs. He was fought seven and not full going into one four..

You talk about you know, horse that time forgot how many people now we're gonna ever hear dyke, and he was a big big horse back in a year where you had a lot of big orces. He was by Herbert j yes, very good. No, I and I mean if you look at any club in Claiborne. It turns up. I mean, any it? I think in fact, I think I think in that when the clayborn had that one hundred hundred bursary. And there was so many really wonderful features written Google McCain over wrote a tremendous piece about the clayborn at Andrea. I think Lenny wrote a clayborn at hundred as right? He might have. I wouldn't do it a lot when the when black when blame when blame beat zinn yada in the classic on their hundred anniversary. Right. You know and talk about the karma. And you know, the that it was it was it was the ghost of clayborn past that beads in yada, you know, more than more than blame that she was up against history there. But you know, listen Claiborne to win the Breeders Cup Plavsic on the hundredth anniversary. You know, quite quite spectacle. Well, and stood it brings me sort of brings me, by the way to to took. In fact, that utilize I almost I always shut my phone off this morning. I tuned in earlier at like five after nine and lo and behold, Charlotte Weber talking about the Breeders Cup from years ago. And I said, oh, that's not good. And I and then I figured I'd give it one more shot, and they waited and then Gary Stevens on and talks about the and I said, well, obviously, there's no there's no show, and I was going to charge my phone and turn it off because it charges faster that way, that's it. No, one more shot and lo and behold, there comes Franks my mic like jolly what I TAC. I gotta tell you. You know, some some people on my comments this week in very dozen with sort of. Critical of the fact that I left win win win very high up on my derby dozen. I've got I had him at number four. I only lowered 'em to the horse that beat him. I loved him flies where most people just drop them completely out. And you know, like, I don't know if he wants to go amount of quarter or not, you know, but I lo- them because I mean, I did like his race and listening to the web this morning. I said, you know, it made me start thinking about racing in general and you start thinking of owners like show cumin chef Clark and Bob Edwards and Larry best and Jack wolf all young to middle-age businessmen that get in the sport. I mentioned that great for the sport. And you put money in the sport. But they're not like the old time true horsemen slash sportsmen and listening to show. Talk about her voices. It it makes you really feel that one of years. I mean, she is. She is do I mean, she's she's so conscientious and goes back, you know, so long, you know, you go back to second in derby thirty seven years ago. You know, it hasn't made a splash, and you look at somebody will Fash who wanna preach his forty seven years ago. Ten really hasn't done had done anything since you know, even even look it on other horse that I like spinoff who's owned by the work of brothers. I mean talk about hundred anniversary they celebrating one hundred anniversary this year being the game sewing way back to the grandfather Pierre, you know, from Chanel, and then it for other jock and talking about horses like leaf art and river, man and green dancer goal river, and even gca and gold, the Kover and Val the Lauren I mean, you can make a whole list. "How it would be received? And and when we were active or one of the top faith podcasts were on hiatus right now to begin of March where we'll start season two again. But I'm so grateful it I think there's a real hunger and thirst especially considering the climate that we're in. We're so divided so device it when we can't pull up a chair and talk to somebody that we don't agree with and that's with this. I mean, I talked to I talked to a Muslim I talked to an atheist people that I don't necessarily see eye to eye with but everybody is entitled to their own faith story. And I think it's impor-. To sit down and listen to people in this moment and respect where they're coming from regardless of whether or not it's where you're coming from. If you do get kneecapped Andy CAPP with people whether it's over an audio or whether it's in person, and you really do get inside their life. It is so much more difficult to be uncivil and to be prejudiced. Totally it breaks it down on Ben Shapiro's podcast last week that aired on Sunday. And he and I were talking about that. And and as long form interview is an hour long. But it was the same thing we're talking about the lack of civility. And you know, what is what solves that? And it is you know being together. If you don't have any friends that aren't like you. You know, you're pretty narrow minded by definition by definition. And so you need some friends or at least some good acquaintances. Maybe they're not your closest friends. But I mean, my my crew that I run with I'm gonna share values with and those kinds of things, but but one ring out or two rings out some people that are different color, a different sex than me different religion than me. And if you can't talk about it because it's not allowed to discuss it. Then it makes it worse. And I think that's what happened has happened. When we've scrubbed everything clean religion. It's loud. It's not allowed people to be authentic. But if you think about the more profound conversations that you've had with people it always goes back to some form of God it does. And it's usually somebody that you don't agree with that just learning to sit down, and listen and have respectful dissent. But you know, it breaks it down like you said if you. Get to know somebody put the keyboard, courage aside. But if you take the time to get to know somebody just come to the table. Well, it's just interesting intellectually to learn from someone that's different right? And you have to be ready to explain the hope that is within you. And how do you do that? You do that by informing yourself and listening to other people in really digging into why it is you believe what it is. You believe so mentioned a couple of the people. But let's go back over some of them that you interviewed for season one. And what are some of the things that you went? Wow. I didn't see that coming. I learned I interviewed Raza ostlund who is an author and religious scholar. I learned a ton about Islam, and I graduated from Christian college with the bible minor. And my studied other religions I learned a ton about Islam just by sitting down and talking with him. You know, Luke, Bryan has gone through more tragedy than I think any of us will ever experience in this life losing a brother losing a sister, losing brother-in-law and just seen how his faith. He wouldn't be able to to. To press forward. If it weren't for his faith talking to Tim Tibo about identity. I don't think anybody has failed. So spectacularly you could say as Tim Tibo, you know, he he chucks up the NFL to a failure. But it's these big conversations were having about identity. What if your identity is all and football and baseball and your radio show? What happens when all of that is taken away from you. So we're able to have these really profound conversations and everybody story is so different. It's been so different. And I just I know that for me personally listening to other people's recount their stories and their journeys. It's only deepened my personal faith. It really has Luke Bryan Hillary, Scott, Ben Shapiro. Tim. Tebow Kellyanne Conway and Robert Roberts. I actually know all of them Sherri shepherd, at least, I don't know Kellyanne that like. That was a controversial..

"Area. Big savers guy. I've known offices a friend of you all the programs. He kind of actually did justify an explain why it's happening. Right. Well, she thought that it was his his reasoning was he thinks teams are coming out with such such a sense of urgency in the first period to get a goal right away and ticket to lead in an operating from there. So then it would be a different kind of ball game. That was but they basically that's what he was trying to say that teams come out here on fire. Here we go. Let's get a goal right now. That's fifteen shots, and if can the first period, hopefully, break breakthrough so that. Does make sense. Other people have kind of guest as to why it's happening there. Speculating like it could be the the, you know, the the the equipment for the goalies not as big as it used to be fresh legs right away compared to a little bit tired late second period in the third period as well. So that was his I guess that's kind of make sense with what he was trying to say. Well, look, I it feeds to my theory. And I wrote a column on it. But it really needs to be like a a thesis paper for college students like why we are dumb enough to bet the full game. I mean, if you think about it every sport hockey, the goal is pulled NFL or college prevent defenses. All that garbage time basketball. We know about the free throws and the garbage time. So it really is silly that you know, a game is played for ninety percent. That's how we handicap ninety percent of the game in the last ten percent is bizarre or whatever it is last five percent. So it does see random things can happen. You kind of isolate the handicap in a away, and it's different Andy CAPP like we talked about fresh legs all that. And when teams get a lead. Especially in hockey that doesn't have a ton of scoring maybe basketball. There is a strategy change at least in the maybe third period. But maybe even the second I don't know enough about hockey in that regard. No share. I mean that that part absolutely make sense to me. So we're crazy for betting full gains. We should be doing stuff like this. And like I like the Spurs tonight first quarter. I don't love it. But it's a play more than like the game bet. I think they're like got embarrassed in the last game. I think they're good bounceback spot. I just think there's there's ways to do it. Like, I twenty points. I used to bed. I attend point. Do those props if you like, for example, another handicap around Vegas does radio Dave Kokin gave out pit on Monday night. Florida state coming off that excruciating loss to Duke on Saturday had to travel pit was a good spot. He gave out pit plus five. And I was asking him. I go why not just give out pit first-half? If you wanna let if it's all about like, the flat spot, then why don't we isolate it even more? So where I perceived handicap is is more of an advantage. Sure. And I mean. You. I mean that stuff is going to be available everywhere too. By the way, I quarters. I have all that kind of stuff. So there's no some people actually said they can't find the first periods in hockey, which is a little weird. But actually, some Vegas books. Don't even offer it..

"One Russia county seventy-one golden, so noise H one ten to unbear- v. I what's your selection. Yeah. I'm gonna take a chance in one again here. He's been showing not inflation in the Rasha county. Now read comes from earlier in the season suggestion they were like target targeted at the novice handicap chase a Cheltenham. And if that's the case doing a good job of getting them on an ice, Mark and lead to start winning soon. If he's got feast of any chance of getting into that race, and he leads improve his jumping. Lot. We've gotten plenty of experience an atom wedge replaces, Harry Reid, and he's jockey. I'm big fan of he's still only six year old give him what he showed over hurdles Ronin behind horses. Lakes Santini in and you lane be shocked if he doesn't end up Baroness America one hundred thirty tree. And and yeah, I think he's worked chance at the prices. Okay. Tom one year ready? Freddy so impressive at Ascot earlier in the season. Even though the handicap amount of caught up with him now. I don't to be honest. I think he's gonna quite over ability. And I think he's improving erupted right of noughts overseas jump is a concern is he was jumping malls out to the left Wellstone somehow managed to win being killed. This is basically the form since I think going left handed up. So this is going to help him. We need good groundless probably lost wrong before Cheltenham. I think NICKY Henderson said that if they left the handicapped left him off a Mark of one four four they were going to put him away for Cheltenham there. And then off lost. I'm out, but Andy CAPP is obviously hit again just think he can give way around bonus jump into question Mark from she and it's unsurprising to put it doors up there in the market, given his solar jump earned twelve. I mean, he's going to on a few shows over the fences. So is probably the main danger to win you ready? Freddy, I think is close will come through. Okay. Here's your fan of when you're ready for an affair when you, but you know, he's one of those guys ask you the first one he jumped straight is a daughter to the second money went more world yet to his left on hinge. A problem for me. It's not just a horse that needs to go left handed into some sort of physical pullover to start doing that. So that the worried ahead mean as our defy he's now on a mug of one hundred and four against his you've yet to show what they can do over fences. So he's going to have to be have to be pretty good. You know? I mean, we're talking about you know, if he wins this. He's running in jail t don't run in the handicap anywhere is he up to that doubt myself. But you know, the Dharavi again was walked to tight on with because Polly does good as good as he was. Last time, really advice. They went hammer on the front to for a long way out in granite bay was by malls. Or not on. I'm sure that rice we may have left his Mark because you'll be he's not gonna end. So that would worry me. "Fifty three's total. Boy, boy, boy, you have Kansas City coming up loss long rest against Seattle coming off a loss in a rare spot where they're three point home dog. It's real juicy to want to take the Seahawks in Russell, right. Yeah. Going to let that light skin young bitch. Patrick Mahomes up. Upstage his own fucking city and Seattle been running the ball. Well, Carson's been getting going, and that's kind of Kansas City's weakness. Yeah. But you got Andy Reid coming off long rest and loss, that's a really tough situation. But I'm gonna I'm gonna take the I'm going to take the home team home dog here. Seattle end the prime time aspect of it. Forty four degrees in rain. The thing is Mahomes is a really good road QB, and they need this. They need this game. Pretty well to a pretty bad Seattle needs it as well. I mean just to make the playoffs. I'm gonna go Seattle all things being equal. Why not take the home dog here? This is this is a must. I mean, it's it's a must win game for Seattle. It's an important game for the chiefs. So I think I I like the importance factor. And I just I don't think you're gonna make a ton of money laying points on the road in Seattle over the long haul. So let's take Seattle plus the points. All right. Sean Christmas Eve they saved the best for last Monday night football. They're making Jason and and and tested for and booger work on Christmas Eve to cover one of two games this weekend. Sean that have no playoff implication. Denver the Denver Broncos. They had to Oakland or Jon Gruden in. The raiders are two and a half point home dogs, plus one twenty on the money line. Denver minus one forty forty four is your total. Are we fade in Gruden one? One last have two more weeks to do it on Cox. Are we? Yeah. Would we not? This Denver team is just wrecked. Aren't they? They're in bad ship. Yes. I'm both these teams in bad shape. Don't you just walk away from this very slowly? Yeah. I feel like I'm gonna take. I've been I've been wanting to just I've kind of been taking home home dogs. They're going to have all these packages on Monday night football. It's gonna be a love curtain in a Christmas at Cecchi check. It's very Cecchi Christmas. Do you remember when he came on hard knocks and he talked about how he still makes a playbook. He just doesn't have anyone to give it to Cruden fucking sucks. Gimme the Broncos minus two and a half. There's my Andy CAPP for the only guy who has heart. The only guy on this Philp linzie didn't have a great game last. He is going to go off against this. No, one on the on the raiders is going to want to tackle this, man. They're going to be armed tackles left. And right, Sean, be running over fools. One last key point. This will be their last game in Oakland..

"Hey, welcome to invention. My name is Robert lamp, and I'm Joe McCormack. And you might know us from our other podcasts stuff to blow your mind. But today you have apparently wandered into our hall of cursed invention. Wait. It's not all Kirsten invention cursed, you know. So some things are perfectly fine inventions some of them make our lives better. But you know, or they taunt you with goods that you could almost reach. Robert did you when you were a kid did you ever play that game? I suppose it was a game. But I took it very seriously where you really thought you could reach up through the bottom of the vending machine and get that food item from the bottom row. I do not remember trying too hard at it. Because it alternately seemed like there were there were too many risks both both physical and social because either you are going to get your arm caught in there or jammed or pinched. They're going to be some sort of trap her failsafe or you're just going to be seen doing it. And you're gonna get in trouble for trying to steal from a candy machine. It always seemed like a kind of humiliating Homer Simpson esque way to die would be you die accidentally pulling the vending machine over on top of you while you're trying to reach up and grab some Andy CAPP hot fries from the bottom row. Exactly. And you know, these are two key points though, that we're going to we're going to come back to again. And again in this episode in this episode. We are talking about the vending machine, aka. The robot cashier. That's right. So time was back in the olden days yield and days when you head to either buy goods directly from human salesperson sounds horrible or you simply had to leave payment after you took off with it. And as far as that payment goes prior to the invention of money, which would be have to be another episode for us, you'd have to leave goods there in an exchange some sort of the barter system that sounds difficult. If you can't work out what the exchange rate for what you bring in is. So right in either case, though, there's a human interaction or there's some there's some human judgment on what is fair, or there's some sort of an honor system in place or human there just to prevent you from stealing, right? But then what about a machine that sells goods for you something that has become so ubiquitous now it's fascinating to to think back on on where the shift occurs. We get into this vending machine chewed territory. Just where does such machine. Sheen come from at what point we crossover from machines that are ultimately little more than honor boxes, you know, honor system situations where you're just trusted to leave your money and take exactly what you paid for. And then where do we get into true mechanical sellers? Right. The honor box system is what you would often find in say a church where they'll be selling prayer candles or something like that. And there's offering box, and it's like, you know, please put a dollar in just take all the candles, right? And in and yeah, the the honor system is enforced by the the sacred nature of the space in your obligations there. There's a supernatural security guard in that, right? Yeah. You don't have to worry about you know, somebody trying to reach their hand in there. Just make off with all the candles for the most part, but you really do have to worry about that. If say you want to sell minor food items, snack items and say, you you're running a concession stand at the poolside or something like that. And you need to run off to put some money in. The parking meter. I dunno whatever whatever the people manning those concession stands had to do when they put up the sign that said be right back. So so kids are coming. They wanna buy an ice cream bar Snickers or something like that. And the goods are just right there..

"Sending your system relationships can every situation but boys go to stop. I think a second tactic is find upon find someone who loves to you. You hate to you look out there, the most successful people around and you'll see that they're brilliant finding just the right pong or just throw time was struck by what Thomas Thomas Jefferson, did he was you know, fab as president. But he hated public speaking. And so rather than bemoan that sort of stick it out. He just changed the protocol. So that henceforth all the state of the union addresses would be written by him something you love to do. But then handed off to a page would run down the street and deliver them to congress. That's a nice way finding a pot and someone who's good at what you're not good at. I think. Third thing you can do is is gradually kava new role for yourself. Find some aspect of the role that gives you strength experienced some success in that and then gradually Polly that into a role where most of the place strength. And if you'd had a doctor once who didn't like sick people to like sick people would seem rather seriously Andy CAPP, except she did she find that. She liked one disciplined. She liked them. Because the people aren't really that sick. And you get to see sort of immediate proof of progress right there on the surface on the skin. Okay. Then then poly that strength into the coming demagogical specialist, which is what she did. Actually. I didn't the lost tactic is. I mean, some activities you can't not do. They also central to your job in which case, probably the best advice is can you change your perspective on that activity? Now, this involves a little more. Mental gymnastics in the others. For example. My system doesn't like filing which would seem to be a problem except she's incredibly competitive. And so she's made a game out of filing. She competes to see him Fosse can get this particular set of finding done with she can beat what she did lost time. And in a weird way. She now actually stops to look forward to filing. It's like then moment in day because she gets to compete with a self. Now again, that is a bit of mental gymnastics. But there are at least, you know, three or four things you can do first before you throw in the towel and say boy, this job is just draining. The life out of me. I'm speaking with Marcus Buckingham, he is a business consultant and author of several books, and the one in particular that we're talking about today is called the one thing you need to know, what the experience of driving a luxury vehicle wasn't limited to just inside your car, but extended out into the world around you..

"A dollar ninety, you know if you go to and one Europe significant dog. So when you get to that kinda number, the only way I'm looking at it as the dog or the plus price or absolutely looking at the total and we know Edmonton this. But if you look at the jets, they their last three games to one three, nothing, three one. Now the kings are offense challenged and it wasn't a really good spot for Carolina and the other one they got shut out of the road at Nashville. So Bs, oh boy, they can't score. Then everything comes into the style of play would be different in the game. But right now with a pay not scored a lot of goals. And I like you get you're on total six. We get a total of six because you know every time David takes the ice, he's capable of four points themselves though, by the way the last two games hit. But here I mean, you you look at Everton out of the game and all the travel stuff. You're talking about. They score two one into goals. I'd be looking under the total to be honest with. Anything else you like in the NHL tonight? Scour a little bit. Okay. Okay. Here I'll give you one kind of along the same lines you were talking about with Winnipeg. I would look at Tampa Bay who's a dollar sixty, but I'm gonna. I'm gonna lay the puck line with Tampa Bay. So instead of you know, the minus dollar sixty. I'm going to get like plus abou- or seventy. You know abso- I'll lay the puck line with Tampa Bay. All right. Let's transition over to the Gulf side of things for a few minutes, and we'll talk about another event here on the Asian. So this is the CJ Cup at nine bridges this one in South Korea only the second year for this tournament. So Ryan, we don't have a whole lot, of course for data for this. This is how much more challenging does that make a golf Andy CAPP for you? Well, we don't have data than the players don't have date, you know, or that much data. So I think he's still handicapped. I'm really kicking myself last week. I what we should. Men was low hanging fruit. When when you get into these fall events, you know it's summer over in Australia, so the the stray is always come out of the gate. 'cause they're up there on a scale. You're playing golf. They come in and they'd been playing. So leash should make complete sense last week and let that one get away. We I know we talked about CT pan and he was right there in contention out of the gate, and then he fell off the map. But I, I'm looking at this one and I is there some long shot plays that makes sense. You know, coming out of the gate, I loved the kid watching name, and I think he's going to have a big year. He's fifty to one. I'm gonna come back with CT pan. He struggled at the end of the tournament last week, but he he showed he's capable of the low number. I believe he shot a sixty. We've seven-under I forget what. Was last week, but he was two shots back after the first round of the pan is a guy you can look at. But here here's one for you and it's as j..

"Since I think most people knew early on that the tool was going to start. Well, I could speak is someone that went to the second scrimmage, and it was not as clear as being totally honest. I. I'll be honest. I fully went down there in the second scrimmage expecting to at alighted up for Jalen to be significantly behind. It wasn't the case. He had a very big day and threw the ball very well and on the areas in which he struggled in the past throwing downfield. That's where he was exceptional. So I, I actually went into it thinking maybe Jalen has taken that stride. Maybe he needed to be put off in the, you know, by the side and have to anointed for his competitive juices to get going. And maybe he could potentially go because if you're going on experience and game management Jalen still very good. And what I've found fascinating about this is kind of what Nick Sabin said a little bit too, and they can both be good like two can be elite. That's great, but Jalen can also be very good. And that hasn't always been the narrative. It's mostly been well. Dalen can't do it to the guy Jalen that's not true daily. Ken do it. He just might not do it as often. As to is capable of doing. So I understand why Nick Sabin wanted to see this play out on game day, given that to as to hasn't always displayed in a game type atmosphere, the ability to really execute and manage the game properly. For instance, in the national championship game, they had to put Jalen to center the ball because to wasn't comfortable taking a snap under center and center in the ball to send up Andy CAPP office for the last second field goal. So there are things that he probably wanted to see on game day that he saw from two. And now he can safely make that decision that he is there guys. So Jalen should still play should still have a role on this team, especially when it comes to milking the clock with the lead, put Jalen. He compound at quarterback run game and and they can put games on ice pretty quickly. So he's certainly going to have a role, but I'm just glad that they acknowledged that too is the starter. There's no debating that, and he's going to be the number one quarterback moving forward. Rimac ROY, are you see him now? But you have not seen the last returns. It was a close vote, five, four decision by the management, the show. I'm shocked that we got five yeses, to be honest with you, I think you were the swing vote, though. Paul, I voted five times. "If they fantastic starting point, but to go out there and make a guaranteed definitive plan that especially this early in the season, you wanna be careful what that's a game that you wanna have circled and say, my number says this, I'm going to look more at it as opposed to saying my number says this, I'm gonna play it. If you're out there grabbing numbers on Sunday with openers because you think numbers going to move in your favor and then you can either buy out or hold your position. That's one thing, but what these sale numbers that are out there in have been out there. You've got to consider both your power rating number and also your handicap of the game and what you expect from those two teams. Yeah, totally agree. I think that, you know, to be honest with you, I think a game like a Wyoming. Mexico state is an interesting Andy CAPP. You know, the other game this coming weekend and not not a big fan of, but I like to Wyoming Mexico state as far as the handicapped and I'll just go ahead and get some thoughts as far as New Mexico's. They start with New Mexico state threw the ball sixty five point four, four, nine percent of their offense plays last year. That was second in the nation, Washington state. Now they have a big question Mark quarterback, and they have no star running back either. And like you said, they lost the Trump wide receiver. So what's the new identity of this offense? I Don. I don't think anybody knows the answer to that, so they were really fast paced last year. Do they want to do the same thing? I think it might be a little bit difficult at least from week one to, you know, be in the top six or eight in the country and tempo having all new skill position players there. I think that could be pretty difficult. They turned it over twenty seven times last. This year, it's certainly going to be less dynamic issue so they can't afford this kind of missteps this season. On the other side as far as New Mexico state, you have to say, I really impressed with what New Mexico state on defense last year when from six point, six yards per play, allowed to five point four yards per play allowed. Think you have to give defensive coordinator smell the Onny a lot of credit. They turned doing into tacking defense, a defense that didn't just sit back and try to bend, but don't break. They came after you and it worked for them. So I think New Mexico state defense is going to be solid again this year. I think the big question Mark is what's going to happen, what the offense and you know why the team that we've talked about last week, Josh Allen gone, but they're healthier on the offense of line. They should be better running the football and Josh Allens numbers last year, but really not that good. So I, I think there's offense is certainly going to be better later in the season than what they were last year. The question is how they're going to do and we Quan, I, I know that defense is. Good. I think Wyoming's defense is tremendous. Defensive line is excellent. Top twenty five in the country. They'll give lots of teams big trouble in the mountain west this year, and and the key to this game for me if you like Wyoming, I think this is the huge key game Wyoming. Defensive line has a really big advantage of the New Mexico state often zip line. And you know if they have that big a an advantage against the New Mexico's, they'd offense of line and then you have all this fresh quarterback running back wide receiver. That is certainly a troubling sign for New Mexico state. Yeah, and one other point I'll make your total of forty six on this game. I know you're a big time totals guy, but that's another thing that you want to keep in mind as you're putting together your power ratings numbers is that you want to make sure that you're spread you keep in mind what the total is..

"It goes out there and lights it up. There ends and used to play with Panthers would have been in preseason hall of fame, chase. Daniel was another guy. Well, I got a guy for you right now, and that's Cole. McCoy with a Redskins. You know, this guy, he outplayed Brian Hoyer the Redskins game with the patriots, but McCoy does this every free seasons. Now you've got Washington playing the jets here on Thursday and we know McCoy can swing around the jets. You've got three guys that they're going to evaluate, but they only put seventeen points up as a trio of. I would look for Alex Smith to get some work and COPA quite it'd be pretty salty in the second half of that game with Washington, so it it's really. The back of that you believe is gonna play. The majority of the game almost becomes your handicapped or the game. Let's talk a little bit more about that jets washing and glad you went to that one because we saw the jets open at three point dog at bookmaker. It's down to one and a half bookmaker most of the market sitting there onto right now, there's anywhere from one with extra juice to two and a half at pinnacle. This numbers kind of all over the marketplace, but it's below three. So you're not real significant differences anywhere with these respective sports books, but the Sam darnold train picked up a lot of steam last week. A lot of people were very pleased with how he looks thought that you know, maybe this is the guy that's going to be a starter for this team. Meanwhile, as you mentioned, Alex Smith didn't play in that game for the Redskins. So that's always such an interesting dynamic here in week. Two of the starter who didn't play the established guy in Alex Smith who will probably play a quarter, maybe two or three series in this game against the jets. Now have this hype train with Sam darnold who played the majority of the game last week. It should probably play the majority of the game this week. It's such a complex, Andy CAPP when you get that type of situation, and then you throw out the Trump card basically of, hey, Cole McCoy plays really well in the preseason doesn't seem like anyone's even paying attention to that with where this light is moving..
