"But You know Seo every week. I do I. But I I mean I. Feel like I have quite a bit of friends? To get friends, but it's hard to keep friends it's. That, you say that I mean for me for sure family I know offense brandy, but like my mom and dad was we. Go to Penn.. And My mom and dad number one in my life, but for me like her mom and dad like me, which is nice, it is, but I have a couple of friends in my like a few friends in my life that they just don't judge at all like brand new is definitely one of them and Sherry and Bethany are definitely the other two that I could do and Allie. Her name's Viana. Like four friends that I could be anyone with. Yeah, just it doesn't even fucking matter. They love me anyways. I. Mean I have a friend? Her name's? Andy Brandy noser. Is My sister in law. She still. I, still she. Met On like a weird. Like weird terms we were at PR's of all places. you know is going to be our? Last name and and email. But she. She brought me into the spreading group of these four girls five scientists. My actual sister is one of them. Wild and your cousin, but you know I love them to death but I mean obviously when you get that many girls in a group. You know you're GONNA be heads, but at the same time you know They've come to realize that I am straight up a bitch like I. Am a bitch I think they've realized that about me, too. 'cause they'll fucking block. Dear my sister else Bach you be. This is what's frustrating that so many women and that's like I feel like. I'm being such a feminist. Lengthy this, but you're not being bitch either you. You guys are just being. True to yourself. This thing happened when we tell you about it I mean to be honest. I mean there are times where he I am like complete and total bitch like your. Time! My sister upset me and I was like lock you for two months. I need to talk to you right now. I've blocked by sisters before because they're bitches to like we all economy just runs in the family like you said a family comes first and right now you know having sisters is a completely fuck in different story. They're just. Newer you're all three different and. Man Let me, tell you. When Andy brought me into this burn group, I was like cool like I can be myself. Sometimes it gets me in trouble and I. do apologize for that, but at the same time I'm just kind of like. You know don't. Like. I understand like if you're being outrageous, apologize, but at the same time you're being who you are I. Don't think it's being bitchy to just. Say something you've observed. Like. It's not being bitchy to feel like this thing is the thing I observed in the world. But if you're being like this, bitch, said thing and I. Don't like that then. Yeah, sure, but you're not what? She can't be upset about. Somebody saying something about something. Like my sister, she doesn't listen to this. She would never listen to. What if she listens to just support portio? She puts it on, but. I just wanted to be a listener so every week. She's got that number. She would never listen to this I would never walker because she and I are so different and I already know that she's a very serious one block my sister. Her. I've blocked my sister before. Is a ridiculous. No. I blocked her because she was being pain in the ASS. No in my sister. Yeah, I've blocked her and she has messaged me literally and been like unblocked me. You Bitch and I'm like wow. Okay No, no, no! I don't want you to. Think you're being a realist and. Three bottles in. Hey, sometimes it happens like your sisters are busy. You gotTA. I just wanted to call and I do the same thing to brandy. All I'm saying is my sister and I came black whoever she feels she so differently than I do about so many things like for example. My Mom got exposed to cove it and she was tested today, and my sister has two young daughters and family. My sister doesn't work, so it's like her at home with her two young kids and she's so serious fucking time like serious one hundred percent they look alike, which is weird. Imagine a blonde serious BECA. It's not a thing. I don't know if I can even on even about honestly, and she's like ghosted my mom now. Go should by her sister, because my sister is like so upset that my mom like exposed her family to Cova, but my mom didn't know she was exposed to cove. I'm like. Cova is a cold for people who are healthy. Are you one hundred? No. You have cancer. No, so you're going to be really sick for a while, but it'll be fucking fine. I mean my sisters have completely blocked my mom or stop talking to them at some point so crazy. I feel bad on. You know April you had to come in at some point eight her name's. April, yeah. April hold on April! Was your sister's name Two older S- like two older sisters They're sent the Brittany on the only one with the Sydney name, unfortunately somehow decided at whataburger when my mom was eight months pregnant with me on so good God that sounds classes. All your listeners are all you. Like Oh shit. Really talk about farting or pooping or anything like that or but on here we do. Honestly. I just started in my car, one time and I had gotten to guy's house and I didn't expect him to be standing outside and naturally and he was. Like ooh and It was pretty bad so you open the door. I like roll down the window own. He like you can tell. He did like that face. Like that face of like he smelled something and I was like. It's fine. Wine? Barges got a Fart. "It so what we used to call a forced road march is a physical and mental mental test of will and I talked about talked about the road march in podcast thirty. V8 The patrol petroleum teams patrolling with my family. And I started off that podcast cast with a little reading of infantry columns by kipling boots and I explained that marching or humping or patrolling or rucking explained what it meant to me how impacted me and how in many ways it can be a bit of a metaphor for life and I'm not the only one who feels that way and with me on the program. Tonight is a former special special forces soldier who's also impacted by the patrol by the Hump by the Rock and who has made his new mission to spread the power of the rock. So here we go. Jason McCarthy welcomed program. Thanks for having me Jaakko. Thanks for coming on man. Good to meet you likewise likewise so let's just jump into figure figure out sort of how you ended up how you ended up. Where did it all start where you born? Where'd you raised born in Dayton Ohio right so southern Ohio and but never really lived their mom and dad were both really young when they had me mom was like how young mom was eighteen and five days to hang right so Komo was bad? Dad was nineteen right and a as you might expect. Marriage didn't last super long grandparents. Grandparents weren't super happy about this but you know they. They ended up taking very vested interest in me but my mom was was actually. She was the real athlete in the family. She one junior junior college nationals in tennis after having me at Sinclair Community College right there and then got a full ride to go play for the gators down in Gainesville so we moved to Florida and then just balanced or raising you my mom and she's she's going to college winning National Level Tournaments and tennis and in raising you. Yes so she's a bit of a trooper she's very much. Trooper are very much in so some of my earliest memories stories are are going to to her. Tennis practices and her tennis matches and my grandparents flying down to take care of me wall. was she raised like tennis. Kid Ya yes. Sort of an athlete her and across the board just across the board and then she ended up being really good at tennis. She was number one in Ohio her whole youth and so just extended from there. When you really good at something you have a kid? So she managed to yeah. I mean manage to like her her senior year yes so she ended up graduating early and then almost went into hiding sort of at my dad's House I with my dad's parents who were you know a little more okay with the situation than my mom's parents it was tough no doubt no can't even imagine imagine this is what year were you born. Nineteen seventy nine so it was like society was still a lot more. I'd say hard to deal with from that perspective of a young mom in high school. I mean single moms. I mean it's that's tough and the older I get the more respect I have for how tough kids are in especially especially a single mom with with a young kid in still trying to live your life and go to college and then get a job and do those kinds of things so you so you have memories early on. You're like one year old and you're going to tennis tournaments with your mom. I was in all the other little eighteen. Nineteen Year Old College. Girls are like worried about their hair. And your mom's like hold on a second gotTa feed my kid. Something like awesome man. I was two or three and remember the tennis coach at Florida. Used to always pull my ear. Same was Andy Brandy and he would pull my ear before the matches and you say. Are you going behaved today right and so it was it inspired behavior. That was good from me because like they once again. I'm picturing these girls plan your mom and you know they're worried. If there's there's some distraction over on the side is like a camera going off. Meanwhile Walk Your Mom's got the screaming. Baby that's nuts man. She had a lot on her plate. Yes you did. And so then and so. At what point did she kinda forgive up tennis and move into or did she like become a tennis pro at a club or something like that. Yeah so I mean. I'm convinced that without me. She would have at least tried to go pro Jews. She was really good. You know And she just she had me and graduated in what eighty five so I would have been six years old when she graduated from Florida. And you can't go graduated from Florida University University of Florida gators and so instead. She ended up getting remarried and did become a a teaching tennis professional. And did that for about twenty years. So yeah we we moved. We moved to Texas and Tennessee and back to Texas and then settled in Jack speech each floor. How old are you settled in Jack? Speech Florida we moved there in Nineteen ninety-two an old were you so as eighth grade. Okay first first year in school. They're sort of how I associate. I remember the grades where I was in which city and so you did your full high school career in Jacksonville. I did and so you were born and raised kind of with a tennis racket. In your hand I assume tennis racket and basketball and tennis eventually won out. But how I got caught from the eighth mccray basketball team So it's weird because as the new kid and I moved and I was. I did really well in basketball when I knew from Texas and I moved to Florida. And it just didn't click for tryouts and didn't know anybody and they're like sorry and it was kind of a crushing blow and this is not one of those things where you know. The Michael Jordan story takes place and double down on my training and practice and became a great basketball player. I played pick up pick up. Yeah I I quit jock. Quitting his forever forever and I quit But I still play tennis and that. Was You know easier to make the team and stuff. I did that and did that through college so you played tennis in college. I did. One of my friends played tennis at the Naval Academy and his sophomore year. He.

"Line has no rapid fans and welcome to another episode of holding the highline with rabbi and read my name is matt pollard we're coming to you on the evening of july ninth twenty nineteen that of the day thank you judy denver post her partnering with us head on over to denver post dot com backslash dhl for a special deal on all of their digital content coming alive on d h g h l hotline from the front porch of hotel california rabbi mark good man how you doing tonight my friend you know it's a it's a cool evening here in southern california fornia in the moon is up on the sunset and a palm trees were not on fire and the i'm jetlagged but i'm okay how about you met a i'm doing all right it is well at least me it is hot here in denver in the sun beating down and we haven't gotten any of those nice thunderstorms it of cool things off in the afternoon but i'm getting some hiking in working on a buddy from grad school actually i'm just moved to denver a couple of months ago and so he's been getting used he's been getting used to getting his strength at altitude down aman were thinking about doing a fourteen year 'em in right in the middle of the month here you know next weekend or maybe the weekend 'em after that and then i've got the big high then i'm planning with my friends second sunday 'em in august running do mount alberton will see how the season's going and whether or not i've got time to get long speaking before you know it would be distractions of college football end a rapid hot takes these and inevitably 'em falls you know what 'em and then obviously will get underway fallen stuff and then it'll be the middle october and then i'll be at ebay and so a never a dull moment just a hot moment right now for me a what is he occasion to you being in las angeles markets and i know there's a couple of big games going on from some of the analysts teams there any open copper kelly classical near future there is a game on friday but a i don't go to games on friday because of the holy stabber but there is a win stay open cup game between l e f c and the portland timbers fc so hope i hope to go to that game tomorrow night which is kind of weird i still never been having grown up in los angeles a an eye lives here for a number of years after a there in grad school and i still have never been the carson or a game but i'll be going probably the ally of secret the second time in two years so that's kinda cool a should be exciting it's really nice to be able to see that facility i mean it's it's really something to see or just some fancy and beautiful haven't been to now like alex the game but you've been to now potentially to allie fc games just like a lot of people from los angeles oh and then he got a we've got one banter topic we have to talk about mark in it's gonna be the goods from this past super soccer sunday 'em united i'd say it's women's national team world champions for the fourth time in emphatic to nil victory over a dozen other lends a just got done talking on last word sd with their mutual colleague a rich mcgregor about these you us women's national team 'em a mount rushmore in where this generation fits in and also the new group coming in as well on you're thoughts on jello girls getting the job done in perry over the weekend it was a great game and i think it was a combination of everything been doing the dutch really looked like they were a plane smart you know offensive 'em counterattacking and then they just kinda they really held onto that first half very very well it looked like holon might actually have a chance of this but then 'em they really you know the u s finally found their way it it it it was somewhat inevitable 'em this team just had too much too much in their footlocker and you us women are without a doubt not only the best even the world a women's football is what one of the best teams of all time i think that's one of those conversations that were not having united states 'em you you are eight sports fan of any kind you're eating about equal pay you're eating about whether rake it megamerger pino beef with the front of the united states is appropriate you're eating about whether 'em alex morgan doing it he said things ceremony on the pitch is appropriate and i think all these narratives are boring and stupid any relevance an m i really am annoyed when sports writers fall into the rest of doing what everybody else is doing because if you know a hot take and it makes the news i always like this when everybody else is that somebody that here it is this the best usa swimming team of all time i mean you know 'em carli lloyd is a super sub 'em now if you didn't make a the starting starting lineup in almost in i don't think any of the games 'em lindsey her ran didn't make the eleven for the final game a you know that's ridiculous this is insanely good team 'em and they they're a you know the they probably could put together to full evans that would have won the championship that what do you think what what you're what you're narrative on u s w anti mom well i think certainly you know twenty fifteen in that world cup cycle and will say they olympics before then as well it was officially the uss women's national team was back you know they had a couple of really tough team in there in finals and semifinals against the china's and the japan's the world but this was gonna be the first really i'd say truly global world cup the women in the sense that this was the deepest option you know is normally in pasadena asians really from ninety one on u s it was one or two other favorites it's a handful of others and then you know a massive gap and everybody else with amateur teams and we barely even feeding a team and you know even with this tournament where you know the european teams have put so much more in infrastructure in coaching in setting up a league in england the netherlands scandinavian countries you know you still had a relative of bob marley bankrolling you know jamaica who barely could get catch from their own federation unlike their federation was openly saying like no were not paying you you don't count you're not a part of a soda soda so to speak so and despite and all that tournament this with an extremely deep tournament where previously you know the usa women didn't really have to flip the switch depending on me opponent maybe in the quarterfinals 'em you know but certainly in the semi final and they go you know right from that third group stage game obviously where both teams or rotate in the squad they need a result against sweden and they got that result and then they ran the gamut in terms of quality teams you know it was the usa in france or consider the two favorites in that quarterfinal but everybody everybody was talking about you know for three months leading up to the tournament the usa got through that play very good england team over my money on paper if this was a neutral site game played on the moon or something they england was probably the second best team in the head and then you know they took care of sweden teen whose mb germany i think with other dangerous team from the other side other tournament and they handle you know they handled the netherlands you know everybody wants to talk about you know usa swimming being villains on the rest of the world stage and feeling sad thailand you know the you know the men's players god forbid cristiano renaldo takes off his shirt and shows all his muscles are daego simeoni 'em you know reaches first certain parts of his body to establish something when athletico madrid win the dan you know those things oh that's all fine and good you know god forbid alex morgan wants to you know mock sipping some english t after scoring a goal but you know put usa women onto the world cup final and obviously you mentioned all the things going on with making her well the team the team in derby champion there deservedly dynasty in the context of the world gain for for for the women and also the man you know there's only ban you ever vp world cup winners in the world cup market fifty eight and sixty two with brazil winning both of those games on and then a the champions one when italy hosted in nineteen thirty four in any other in nineteen thirty eight when france hosted as well i put some asterisk is on that given what was going on in europe at that point in terms of teen areas and other stuff going on but you're talking about you know the man's game and you know about how that is you know it's all the usual suspects who make you know there's in the history of the men's final 'em there's only been thirteen different countries to make the final and there's only been seven different winners and you really only had one repeat since the since world war two and we've never had that in the women's game and you know usa swimming with the first one to do that in between the carli lloyd's they're not even go back to the hope solo snappy wombats now the making her pianos than you know even these these alex morgan you know that's a group but we say from you know two years in the future and maybe six years in the past that is the group that i think is up there in the same conversation with the ninety nine ers with the media hams andy brandy chastain i think those two are on equal pegging foot in terms of them being on the mount rushmore of american women's soccer just as much of the ninety nine ers did so much for saying hey the women's game exists now this generation is pushed it forward worthy nws sale is going to be stable and you know there's a bunch of little girls who watch this tournament over the course of the summer or gonna be so much more inspired and i'm so excited to see where that takes it both of the gaming europe her women who are fighting you know for the equal pay opportunity one point oh version in central and south america and the caribbean any asian nations well and i'm really excited to see especially with mud wiser there you know flat out sponsoring the entire nws sell what this means for women's professional soccer 'em in the united states and beyond so the women's game is never been stronger in the u s m they've never been in a better position to advance some of their goals you know hashtag feminism and i'm really excited to see what they do on and off the catch honored percent i think what you mentioned about budweiser is is huge i'm very excited about 'em that my upcoming season the denver post is gonna be all about the prospects of w nfl teams sunday coming to denver colorado a motor the odds for that and so on so i think i think the growth of the women's game is really important it's really important for overall soccer culture in america it's important for m for men's soccer as well i think they'll they'll push each other it'll drive each other 'em yeah absolutely all right let's get onto it mark a on need birthday of america last thursday july for twenty nineteen the colorado rapids attempted the play then actually played then got delayed then got delayed again and then inevitably lost to the new england revolution if i'm running down what happened chronologically in the game all time or mountain standard em seven pm with these guys will kick off about thirty minutes it's prior to that we knew there was going to be eight delayed kickoff properly started just after eight o'clock pm after the players having their normal proper warm up spoke with a couple of guys on these soccer offset on the "A bunch of sharks teeth like you know how if you're ever faced with an attacking shark they say your best bet is deposited in the nose you know it's weird because i've heard that too and so i decided actually look into it and it turns out that punching a shark and the face is just about the worst advice you could give a shark attack which i will say i feel like should have been pretty obvious from the start and i i really don't know how this rumor caught on but i found this interview with a wildlife filmmaker and i wanted to include this quote because he has the best name of just about anyone we've ever talked about his name is andy brandy kesse 'grande the fourth is such an amazing name it's pretty amazing i feel like he deserves his own episode anyway he explains why socking shark is such a dumb idea so here's what he says the reality is that sharks are pretty durable plus water magnifies images so sharks nose might look like at six inches in front of your face but in reality it's now does further away so when you punch and miss it's knows your punch trajectory we'll go slightly downward right into the shark's mouth in here's his advice don't put your arm in shark's mouth which is pretty sounded yeah it is and it seems like even if someone did knock your teeth out they've probably went around to talk about it afterwards yeah i mean i think you'd better go ahead and just take that socking shark thing off of your book lists mango but you know since we're back on talking shark attacks there's a sign of them i do wanna talk about that actually might be another reason to be pro shark strangers that may sound so let's take a quick break and then i'll tell you what i mean.

Republican from the Midwest had never heard of trump and so we had her play that character it was a delightful episode one of my favorites scored so funny in the good place is so great I love to get place I love the good place love it or leave it at the head Tommy how is Pat Save the world listen fantastic as always listen to what did you say I didn't listen I mean I don't listen I can't listen to every why did you I guess were Ben Rhodes Jake's Alvin to friends of the pod they've recently stood up a new organization the designed combat trump on foreign policy and help Democrats figure out how to talk about the things we believe in compelling way we can actually win elections so we talked about that for a while and then we talked about the fact that the head of the NSA is literally screaming at public here earnings for trump to do something to stop Russian meddling our elections we talk about the Iran deal we talk about what it means in practice for jared eluded security clearance from two people who are in the PD who actually associated the kinds of peace agreements that Jerry pretends he's going to do so check and one one point of personal privilege before we go on my brother my better looking brother Andy Fabio is going to star on a new NBC show called champions that is airing this Thursday billboard on sunset billboard on sunset sponsorship concern that I didn't see it at this time encourage it I'd ask Andy Brandy anyway check it up all right let's start with the news from over the weekend here's the headline from Saturday's Washington Post pure madness dark days inside the White House is trump shocks enrages very cool also CNN the great unraveling trump's allies are worried about him politico demoralized West Wing stokes fee here's of trump's capacity to handle a crisis and USA Today just went with King Chaos guys happy Monday who thinks we're all GonNa die not good not good so I felt like this there was a quote in the politico story that I thought was instructive about this moments it says administration officials and outsiders with windows into decision-making describe a growing sense of despair within trump's ranks driven by the mounting realization that the president's brand the politics guided by intuition and improvisation is incompatible with the competently functioning executive branch most alarming by these lights mounting evidence that trump lacks attribute possessed those previous presidents and certainly by almost accessible one's a capacity for self critique and self correction fuck that that has been true for a year and half who is learning that this week so let's so I had that quote towards the end of the section but let's start there because my question was going to be shoot we do one more round of why does it anyone else fucking quit in protest what this is similar to Republicans learning things from this most recent mass shooting as if there's something to learn from the fortieth of something not only have we known these qualities of trump we went through a mad king cycle like six months ago I know well what's different about this time it does seem like all the reporters who talked all these liars in the White House so even though they're reporting as good who knows if it's true or not because these people lied to them all the time all these reporters are like e it is worse than we've ever seen the morale is low it's demoralized like what's new about this time I don't understand sure I mean there's the constant game of thrones stuff with his staff and like Yeah Gary Cohn is apparently so upset he might now leave because trump siding with the white supremacists and Nazis and Charles will didn't do it but tariffs might that's how That's what's getting him if you want to know what the line is for you know for Gary Cohn and Paul Ryan it's not it's not good people on both sides terrorists destructing of justice on NBC it's right it's so he's lost two close aides okay so we lost Keith Schiller who was his bodyguard and no one knows what the guy actually did he lost hope Hicks who was basically an enabler slash communications director who tells him what he needs here so okay maybe he's lost some friends in the building and he's more sad but you know my fear about his mental capacity the is unchanged based on these machinations internally and I always think about how they haven't faced a real crisis yet I mean Obama years a few off the top of my head Wola the oil spill like the Christmas Day bomber and then there's all these crises that are happening that they just don't care about like genocide in Burma normally a US government would actually care about that or slaughter in Syria so eight hundred thousand docker recipients getting kicked out of crisis they created so I mean certainly we know that he has no ask for self reflection he doesn't seem to actually care about the job he cares about cable news hits and how he looks vis-a-vis Fox News but yeah I don't really get what's new he either I just can't believe we can't find one person in that fucking administration except for omarosa leaving and talking about it on big brother who will leave that White House and not on background publicly say things are really fucked up in there and it's pretty dangerous and congress you'd better fuck and do something three and you didn't say a fucking blowing glowing profiles as she walked out the door I'm sure Gary Cohn will get the same thing we live in the same category sorry we look forward to you telling people to tell us that this bothers you and Ryan talk about what happened inside the building Dina rights to flirt with talk you had difficult and challenging it was but he doesn't have the guts they say anything Bannon is clearly a source in a ton of stories right like he's one of like eight or nine people on a witness list that are getting subpoenaed documents from Muller and Lo and behold that leaks tax ios what a surprise so I'm looking speculating on sourcing here Bannon is pushing his own agenda in the guise of telling but you're right and there's no like no one's lightens house on fire one other thing in that Washington Post story that was just hilarious was trump says he thinks the American people are finally starting to conclude that the Democrats as opposed to his campaign colluded with the Russians keep thinking buddy I don't think that is true but that is a result of just being in the Fox news cocoon right and only I guess assure only watched Fox and friends you would of course conclude that the American people now believe that it was Democrats who colluded with Russia I mean it's such a ridiculous thing for anyone to let alone the price of the United States like maybe he really doesn't know all these times we think oh he's doing this because he's worry that Mueller's closing in Boba maybe doesn't really know how much trouble he's at yeah yeah I don't know possible he's lied to himself you know look under girding all these stories these mad king stories is the real dark fear of trump doing something catastrophic you know the result of this episode of him being in a funk is these your self destructive steel and aluminum tariffs right survivable it you know there are even some Democrats who say it's not a bad idea whatever it's whatever the obviously it's a terribly made policy in the process is terrible but it's survivable and I guess the question I always come back to you read these stories is you know the president isn't like you know sitting at the center of the Earth pulling various levers everything he wants to do he activates through the people that are around him and implicit in all these stories is this guy's GonNa do something so dangerous and we don't know we can stop it and I just again it comes down to the people that are around Donald trump the Kelly's the mcmasters the cones all of them. what are you trying to tell us will you stop it are you going to protect us from this guy or you just trying to cover your own asses the scandals of the moment cover up these massive proxies created he created a rupture with Mexico by adhering to this promise that Mexico would pay for the wall a promise that only he believed in polling people don't really care about they don't orders didn't believe that they don't care that much about the wall they don't really think Mexico's GonNa pay for but there's this massive cost in terms of economic and security relationship with one of our biggest trading partners and allies like on our border and it's just exploded it's explode that relationship I wanted to ask you tom because like how unusual is because I think the the process of what happened with the steel and aluminum tariffs even if it's a survivable policy the process of how he made that decision was so incredibly fucked up I don't think people realize how screwed up as for something that's that involves tariffs like this it's got to be a national security process and economic process it probably involves state really involves Defense Department probably involves treasury like what's a normal process like for coming to a big decision like that yeah I mean this is one of those issues that cuts across National Ski charity and economic lines so it would generally be run through the NFC I think with economic team input because they invoked what's called section two thirty two which is a trailer as you can restrict imports if those imports pose a threat to national security the first challenge here is that it's rarely used provision in this incident it's completely ridiculous and imperfect like he wants to rail against China and hit them for dumping of steel into the market but the people he's actually hurting like the top importers of steel our Canada Germany Turkey a bunch of NATO allies hurting all these allies and friends who we'd actually we should be working with to put more pressure on China in the guise of her China so he's completely fucked this up the process was so it was apparently just like Wilbur Ross Skye Peter Navarro Barking at trump in the oval office and run around the rest of the national security sally from because Madison's opposed to it it sounds like the whole economic team is opposed to it and I can't imagine making a decision that momentous talking to two people in the federal government oren everyone else not telling everyone else not informing the rest of the federal government they didn't even get to give our allies a heads up that this was coming I mean this is just like sorry on the numbers because they're they're round and sound when she always loves round number so yeah it's a twenty five percent tariff on imported steel a ten percent tariff on imported aluminum question on is this a good policy we should talk about this so we want to have a strong American steel and aluminum industry and too much cheap foreign steel and aluminum mostly from China is hurting our industry I think this is what some people responding to something number kratz too but this tariff that trump is planning on imposing hits every country including our is and it will basically do little to nothing to stop China from producing so much steel and dumping it.
