"I mean, it's <Speech_Male> a brand now <Speech_Male> that <Speech_Male> is coming <Speech_Male> closer to the brand <Speech_Male> New York's brand <Speech_Male> of the 1970s <Speech_Male> and 80s <Speech_Male> than it was <Speech_Male> over the majority <Speech_Male> of the last 30 years, <Speech_Male> which is a safe <Speech_Male> place where <Speech_Male> families felt <Speech_Male> comfortable growing <Speech_Male> up, you know, <Speech_Male> and <Speech_Male> place where a <Speech_Male> place where you'd have <Speech_Male> tourists that <Speech_Male> would like to come <Speech_Male> and spend their <Speech_Male> hard earned dollars <Speech_Male> here. Now, <Speech_Male> unfortunately, what <Speech_Male> you're getting is more New <Speech_Male> Yorkers, more families, <Speech_Male> more <Speech_Male> businesses that <Speech_Male> are moving out of the <Speech_Male> state because they <Speech_Male> don't feel safe <Speech_Male> because maybe they've been <Speech_Male> over regulated or <Speech_Male> they look at the taxes <Speech_Male> in a place <Speech_Male> like Florida and Texas <Speech_Male> and say, you know what, <Speech_Male> my business <Speech_Male> can barely survive <Speech_Male> if the can at all in <Speech_Male> New York. I'm going to go to a <Speech_Male> place where actually <Speech_Male> they look at businesses and <Speech_Male> say, you know what? This is a <Speech_Male> good thing for our <Speech_Male> economy versus looking <Speech_Male> at them as <Speech_Male> the devil <Speech_Male> and kind of this, <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I would <Speech_Male> say endless pool <Speech_Male> of <Speech_Male> resources where <Speech_Male> the government can <Speech_Male> draw on, <Silence> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> well, you've given us <Speech_Male> more time than we planned <Speech_Male> on Andrew. We <Speech_Male> just really, <Speech_Male> really <Speech_Male> appreciate this. <Speech_Male> Getting your <Speech_Male> perspective on these things <Speech_Male> and <Speech_Male> God, go <Speech_Male> conservatives <Speech_Male> this November. <Silence> <Speech_Male> That'll do it, folks. <Speech_Male> Yeah, <Speech_Male> you go ahead, we'll give you the <Speech_Male> last word. Yeah, <Speech_Male> no, absolutely. <Speech_Male> And I think it's, you know, <Speech_Male> look, you got to get <Speech_Male> out there. This November <Speech_Male> and vote for <Silence> <Speech_Male> candidates that <Speech_Male> are going to, they're <Speech_Male> going to fight for our country <Speech_Male> that are going to fight for <Speech_Male> our state. It's that <Speech_Male> simple. And look, <Speech_Male> if <Speech_Male> there's a Democrat in that <Speech_Male> mix who's going to make <Speech_Male> sure that they're looking <Speech_Male> and saying, you know what, fentanyl <Speech_Male> is a problem. <Speech_Male> Crime is the problem. <Speech_Male> Then I would say <Speech_Male> consider that person <Speech_Male> too. It's independent <Speech_Male> of political <Speech_Male> party. I think <Speech_Male> it's a pretty <Speech_Male> big juxtaposition <Speech_Male> when you look at <Speech_Male> the Lee zeldin versus <Speech_Male> Kathy Oakland. <Speech_Male> There's only one <Speech_Male> that's really acknowledged <Speech_Male> that bail reform <Speech_Male> is an issue. It's acknowledged <Speech_Male> that <Speech_Male> our state is <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> economically <Speech_Male> in a difficult <Speech_Male> place. It's going to take <Speech_Male> some really <Speech_Male> smart creative leadership <Speech_Male> right now. <Speech_Male> So for me, <Speech_Male> that's why I've been out <Speech_Male> mobilizing, but as <Speech_Male> always, I appreciate <Speech_Male> you guys having <Speech_Male> me on over here. <Speech_Male> And I certainly hope <Speech_Male> one of the next <Speech_Male> times we're talking, <Speech_Male> we are <Speech_Male> celebrating about <Speech_Male> some victories here <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> in November. <Speech_Male> Amen. <Speech_Male> And that'll <Speech_Male> do it, folks. <Speech_Male> Thanks again, Andrew <Speech_Male> Giuliani. <Speech_Male> Folks, thanks for <Speech_Male> tuning into TFD <Speech_Male> truth. Keep up the <Speech_Male> good fight. We <Speech_Male> try and <Speech_Male> try and try, <Speech_Male> but it takes more. <Speech_Male> We need more people <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> talking common <Speech_Male> sense, promoting <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> some of the ideals that <Speech_Male> we used to all <Speech_Male> agree upon. <Speech_Male> We've got to get some <Speech_Male> of these crazies <Speech_Male> out of Washington <Speech_Male> and in <Speech_Male> our state New York out <Speech_Male> of Albany, <Speech_Male> including right <Speech_Male> there at the top, <Speech_Male> Kathy hochul. <Speech_Male> You've got to get to the <Speech_Male> polls, <Speech_Male> vote, Lee <Speech_Male> zeldin, <Speech_Male> if you want New York <Speech_Male> to have a future <Speech_Male> vote, <Speech_Male> Lee zeldin, <Speech_Male> this November. <Silence> For Mike's <Speech_Male> parasite, Mike hayflick <Speech_Male> will be back next <Speech_Male> week.

"That's what you've signed up for. That's what the American people deserve. They deserve to have the tough questions asked by the media. But when you have journalists that have no interest in being investigative when it comes to the left, you really are looking at a one sided and I don't want to say government run media, but they certainly are in collusion with each other in terms of what the overall ideals are and it's a very, very scary thing. And I think that the best, the best solution for it is, you know, we need more Americans in journalism and this is one of the good things about seeing what technology there's a lot of bad things with technology has done. But one of the good things is it's allowed more voices on the right to at least get their foot in the door with regards to journalism with regards to questioning this. I think that's going to see that's going to be something that over the next 5 to ten, 15 years that's going to actually really, really pay a good price here for Americans because we need more people that are questioning both sides of the aisle and doing it fairly. Andrew, you know, I think you're absolutely right. And the coverage in a press room spills over then into the cable news networks like CNN. MSNBC shows like the view people who only watch those things or into social media if that's all they're reading are the Twitter followers that they agree to. And agree with, then they never ever get the true nature of mistakes like our president. If they see him make a mistake like that, and then they hear the response by karine Jean Pierre. They would have to believe they'd say, wow. That was a big blunder. We can look right, and I'm starting to interrupt you, but we can look right in our own backyard. Look at the look at the deal that Kathy hochul deal in terms of making allowing her campaign donor to get these COVID tests at 45% more than California. And where is the media on this? I think the times union did a piece on it. I think the New York Post did and I just haven't seen much else coverage about this. I can tell you if she was a Republican, they would be, they would make sure that this was top of mind every single day for every single New Yorker. Instead, the press is acting almost like her PR arm and saying, let's put this aside and let's focus on something else until November. It's very similar to what they did with Andrew Cuomo and the nursing home scandals where they looked and said, but you know what? He gives a good press conference and he's got an Emmy. So we're not even going to question this. Do your job, guys. And it's just, it's a really, really sad thing to see this. And unfortunately, it's the 19.5 million New Yorkers and the 340 million Americans who are all the worst for not having investigative journalism, journalists who are going to actually do their job. Thank you for reminding me about the Emmy. I completely forgot about that. I'm sorry to have to remind you. I told you. Totally forgot about the Emmy. A lot of stuff going on. I Joe Biden that one. I completely forgot. And Andrew, this is going to be me saying this, not you, but I'm interested to know your thought.

"And espouse common sense. Today we'll be joined by Andrew Giuliani. Stay tuned, folks for him. Lots going on. We want to definitely send our thoughts, prayers, wishes to all of those in Florida, especially Fort Myers just got absolutely whacked by hurricane Ian. And if you have any friends, family, or if you're actually down there, we really hope you've been safe. We hope that your family can recover because this was a whopper. Yeah, I think the craziest part was they really didn't know for a while what it was going to hit, right? They thought maybe South Florida, then it went to Tampa, then it came back to Southwest Florida. It was a pretty wild, I guess we'll call it 48 to 72 hours of not knowing and not because they were not doing their jobs just because the thing changed. It was pretty crazy. Yeah, and this isn't the time to talk about, you know, what did people do wrong or what do we have to fix? And, you know, should we reconsider certain destinations and all that kind of thing? It's not the time to do that. I'm sure that the leaders, the mayors, the governor, Ron DeSantis, is going to be going through all of those details, the first and foremost thing, though, is make sure everyone's safe. Make sure everyone is out of harm's way. All these utility trucks. You see the one clip there were tens of thousands of utility trucks basically all queued up ready to go. I mean, that's what America is all about, right? It's about getting back together in a common cause and especially during these types of tragedies. I'm sure you saw the clip of the one reporter trying to get political with the santas on this and he just shut it right down. Break down. And that's what you need. That's what a leader does. A leader doesn't get wrapped up in an asinine question like that. They go, no, no, no, stop. And that's what he does.

Rep. Lee Zeldin Attack: Why Did the News Media Ignore It?

"Zeldin is running for governor. He's a GOP candidate running for governor in New York. Boy oh boy, do I hope he succeeds. I wanted Andrew Giuliani, but Lee zeldin is a really good guy. You've interviewed him recently. And he was the subject, the subject. He was the object of a physical attack. Someone tried to kill him recently, and the news media essentially sweeps it under the rug. What world are we living in? Well, I would say that in New York State, it got a fair amount of coverage, but it certainly didn't resonate the way it would have if it had been a liberal governor running for the same post and another area. The interesting thing about this and I like Andrew Giuliani a lot. And I had he and Zelda in both on my show and the run up to the primary. I love the congressman for a lot of reasons. One very big simple one is that he is just one of the most integrity field public servants I've ever met.

"Break here. We've got a final segment with Andrew Giuliani. The website, folks, please go to save NY dot org. We need your help. I need your help. I live here, folks. Save NY dot org save and Y dot org, the primary is June 28th. We'll be right back. Take a look at my life on the line. I need someone to love me the whole day through. Folks, welcome back. I'm talking to Andrew Giuliani, I hope, as a New Yorker in American, that he will be the next governor of New York, but that would take people voting for him, which is why I wanted him on this program, folks. If you live in New York or know anybody who lives in the state of New York, June 28th is the primary, we kind of need you to step up June 28th is the primary. You are running against a number of folks in the GOP who I don't think can hold a candle to you, which is why I wanted to have you on the program, frankly, because I care about this state that we're wearing a bad place right now. Yeah, Eric, you're absolutely right. I mean, I mentioned it before, but we lead the country and out migration. And it's for a magnitude of reasons. We talked about crime before, but one thing that we actually didn't get to, which I think is really important. National news is our district attorney here, where we're sitting in Manhattan in New York county. This is a guy who on day two of his administration wrote a memo to his assistant district attorneys that said he was not going to prosecute. Get this. Armed robbery and resisting arrest. What kind of a message does that send? We don't have recall in New York like they have in San Francisco or LA. But the governor has the ability under the New York State constitution article 8 section 13 B to fire any district attorney and on day one I will fire any district attorney that chooses not to execute their oath of office just like Alvin Bragg here in Manhattan. Okay, it's incomprehensible to me because I'm not in this world. How is it possible that you could have district attorneys that would say things like, I mean, it is like they are patently working for evil and for crime. I really don't understand in what world does that make sense, what you just said. You know, it's tough for me to get in the mindset of Alvin Bragg. I can't tell you exactly what he's thinking except for the fact that he's chose political power over making sure he protected New Yorkers and did the right things. And I think we can learn a whole lot from Christ's teachings on that. And we saw it with pilot. We've seen it with so many others in the Bible that chose power over actually doing the right thing for people. And so to me, that's one thing that's a good example. It's like I said, it's tough for me to get in his mindset. I'd much rather just give him his pink slip on day one and say, let's do everything that we're doing to protect New York. But I mean, it's just a level of madness. I mean, I see the deterioration here in New York City. It's been dramatic. It's nothing like it was before your father became the mayor, but we're getting there. Yeah. I'm seeing things on the street in the nice neighborhood where I live, upper east side. You know, you think, wow, this is changing month by month, it's just kind of bizarre that there are people like this DA who would put that kind of information out there. It's like, I mean, let's be clear. It is literally the opposite of the broken windows theory that your father put in. Your father said, no matter what you do, we're coming after you. It creates a climate like law abiding citizenry. We're going to all we're going to keep the city clean. We're going to keep the city safe. It sends a message. This sends dramatically the opposite message. You know, when you think about the homeless in New York, we've been told by the left that it's not compassionate to ask them not to live on the streets. I think it's actually the exact opposite. If you are brother or sister, let's say, was rotting away, maybe had a drug addiction problem or was mentally, that's mental issues. Would it be compassionate to watch them literally melt into the street or freeze to death? So to me, this is a matter of doing what's compassionate to our fellow New Yorkers over here and making sure we're doing everything we can for a policy perspective. This is basic common sense. We'll have you back on Friday. Ladies and gentlemen, June 28th is the New York primary. This is vital for the country. Because New York's a bellwether state, very, very important, the website save NY dot org. I hope somebody who can write a check will go to save and why dot org New York needs your help. America needs your help. Andrew Giuliani God bless you, thank you. Eric, thank you as always for having me. We can't see tomorrow. But we can hear it. Tomorrow sounds like hydrogen being added to natural gas to make it more sustainable. It sounds like solar panels generating thousands of megawatts. And it sounds like carbon being captured in stored, keeping it out of our atmosphere. We've been bridging to a sustainable energy future for more than 20 years. Because what we do today helps ensure tomorrow is on. Enbridge, life takes energy.

"Not really clear on how evil evil is, that power, you know, wants to increase power, wants to keep power, and we've never seen it on display in the way when the COVID thing happened. I never dreamt the way mayors and blue state governors behaved. I just think most Americans didn't think we would ever see anything approaching that. It was horrifying. Yeah, look, when I think about what's mainstream in the Democratic Party right now, even a decade ago on college campuses, it would have been considered radical. The same people that want to talk to me about the science of COVID thinking that they have the upper hand on this are telling me that my daughter can choose whether she's a male or female or another. I mean, I heard a story the other day that there was a girl in kindergarten who is identifying as a kitten. And to empower her, they set up a litter box in the classroom so that she can use the bathroom in the litter box. Are we kidding? I know you're a big joker. You're kidding. You're a big joke. I could tell you that I'm serious. Say that I've been in that classroom. There's a story that was told to me. But it's beyond crazy what we're dealing with here. And that's why we have to get back to the common sense of the ideas and of the issues here in New York. And like I said before, I look at my daughter every single day. And I know that my parents literally took a frontline stance on making sure that they handed over a better city, a better state and a better country to me than they grew up in. We're at a place where I don't know if we can say that right now to the next generation. I will fight with everything I have to make sure that New York State is in a better place for the next generation than it is right now. Well, again, I think that back when Trump was running during the primaries. I didn't come out for anybody in particular, people. I just knew that whoever the GOP person is, of course, I'm going to vote for them against Hillary Clinton, not just because she has bad ideas, but because she's probably one of the most corrupt figures in American public life. So I didn't say anything about Trump, but I had an innate sense that if you're going to be running against Hillary Clinton, you need to be a real fighter. Yeah. And that's one of the reasons that I thought Trump would be a good candidate. And I think that we're at that point now where what passed for okay in the past, it's no longer workable. So if you have people like Lee zeldin or others, that, you know, they're nice people, whatever, but if you don't recognize where an ideological war, when you have kids, it's effectively child abuse. When you ask a 5 year old, what do you identify? Exactly right. You know, that's not appropriate. Yeah. You're absolutely right. And when you think about putting masks on two to four year olds, look, we were joking around in the commercial break over here. I'm Italian. We think that not only 90% of communication is nonverbal, 95% of communication is non verbal. Think about this. If we're doing this right now, we've lost so much of our virtual education. What is that doing? It is inhuman. It is sick. Most people, I think, have a sense of that. And we need to elect people who get that or else. We'll be right back talking to Andrew Giuliani. Love the shape like the fire for the night that holds you life out of. American style oh hello. I didn't see you come in. My name is Eric metaxas. This is the aircraft taxi show. I have guests. Don't worry, it's not just me. I'm talking to Andrew Giuliani, I hope, will be the next governor of the state of New York. That would be terrific..

Hey there folks, I hope I'm talking to the next governor of New York state because we need help here and usually just seems to me, you know, over the years usually help in bad situations for New York comes in the form of some kind of Giuliani. It was Rudy Giuliani saved New York very dramatically. I can give you chapter and verse on that. And now we have his son, Andrew Giuliani, running for the governorship. Now, look, June 28th is the primary. Yes. It's going to be tight. You're running against Lee zeldin. He's not an evil person, but it doesn't strike me that he's nearly up to the job in the way that you are. I don't think I'm just saying that because I know you. I know enough to get a sense that we need fighters. We need people who are willing to talk about the vaccine, lunacy. So talk about this again. So you go to a debate the other day, and they make you sit in a penalty box because you did not get vaccinated. Yeah. And to me, this was absurd. Look, the other three Republican candidates, they immediately handed over their papers. For me, I just said, first and foremost, I think it's a constitutional right of ours where we should not have to do that. But secondly, I've chosen not to get this shot. And they said, well, you'll have to be relegated to a different box. Now for me, I thought about not actually showing up and doing it, but I wanted to make sure that I got our message out there to as many New Yorkers as possible. So we try to do everything we could to be on that debate stage, but ended up settling where we had to be in a completely different studio, which ironically enough was down the block. Now at the very same time, Eric, you ended up having a concert going on at Madison Square Garden where you had 20,000 people that were all in there. You were talking about 6 people in a studio that were socially distanced from each other. So you highlighted this before. This is not about the science. This is about political theater, the same thing that we're seeing down in Washington D.C. right now with this January 6th committee hearing prime time. That's the same thing. They want Americans to comply. Well, the truth is, let's start looking at the science on this. Let's start looking at actually the real data on this. And then we can make decisions. Well, I think most Americans are waking up to the madness. Because Americans are nice people. We go along, you know, when they say we've got to stay in your house for two weeks and you're like, well, that's weird, but okay. And it gets more and more and more preposterous. I mean, I see people young people walking around Central Park or the city wearing masks. And I'm thinking, what world are you in? It's like, you know, it's like 3000 years since the onset of this weird thing. You're wearing masks. You're going along with this kind of, it feels like a Marxist agenda. Like the state is taking control the way former governor Cuomo treated people and talked to people. And something has happened in this database. I mean, ultimately, that's where this whole conversation goes. Is that I think Americans, we've had it so good that we forget that the founders, they were living in a different time and they had to make this very clear, but we've been so blessed that in a sense, we're not, we're.

"Again to folks who are listening to this. Folks, you need to dig into your pockets and help out these kinds of centers across America, avail, is here in New York City. They're doing utterly heroic work. Compass care obviously needs your help more than ever because they were fire bombed by genuine domestic terrorists. These are actual domestic terrorists using terror and violence. And as we know, Biden and Pelosi and others have ginned up this completely manufactured concept of white nationalists and so on and so forth. Show me where they are. It's utter Bologna designed to distract you from genuine domestic terrorism, of which we have an example right here, a firebombed clinic, and what amazes me is they took credit for it. That's what terrorist groups do. They take credit. They say, we did it. We want to scare you. We want to intimidate you. We want you never to go to work because you're scared. That's terrorism. That's genuine domestic terrorism. If we had a government that was operating, we would go after those people. But the reason you're on right now, Jim Hardin, with compass care, is because of what happened recently. You guys are in Buffalo. So tell the story of, first of all, what is compass care and what just happened to your facility in Buffalo, New York? Yeah, compass care has operations in three different abortion hub cities in New York. Because the abortion capital of the U.S. with more abortions occurring per CAPiTA basis than any other state in the union and we're expecting a significant influx of patients from conservative states now. Roe versus wade, reversal of his way, essentially, totally changed the abortion industry. And that means that patients are going to be coming to New York from the conservative states. So what happened in Buffalo was on June 7th, our facility was firebombed. By James revenge, they took responsibility for it in a communique. We Must Thank Donald Trump for This Epic Moment in History

"Roe V wade, ladies and gentlemen, I want to tell you, roe V wade, I want to say this very clearly and strongly, we know that we thank God for everything that's good. But God also wants to give thanks to people who do the right thing. And if you voted for Donald Trump in 2016, you did the right thing. Because Donald Trump, people said he's not going to follow through. They were very cynical. And I understand that. But it turns out that he followed through on his commitment to appoint justices who treat the constitution as it ought to be treated as originalists. And because of Donald Trump and because of his three Supreme Court appointees, we had a 6 to three ruling overturning row V wade. This is utterly historic. The only thing that it can be compared to is the heroism of Ronald Reagan, which resulted in 89 the Berlin Wall coming down in 91, the Soviet Union being disbanded. In other words, in our lifetimes, there are just a few things. Every number of decades, perhaps you will see something that is epochal, EPO, this is epochal.

'Battle for the American Mind' With Pete Hegseth and David Goodwin

"Hey folks final segment talking with Pete hegseth and David Goodwin battle for the American mind uprooting a century of miseducation. So Pete the headline here is that you're not just an empty talking head on Fox and Friends. It's not like they say he's smart. He could do things. It gives me such joy to know that you not only get this stuff but that you've joined with David and written a book about it and that you're using your platform to get the word out to the American people about what is happening. I think part of this has been as a father, a journey of discovery myself as a parent. And that's how we've treated this book and how we treated the film series at Fox nation as well. David, I call him my Sherpa, you know? He's leading me through and I'm discovering in real time very much like most of our viewers are right now. Oh my goodness. I knew there were some problems. I didn't realize it was this big. And hopefully, because I've only more recently made some of the choices to get my kids intentionally into some of these schools. So all of us are behind the curve. And I feel this ticking clock in my mind of every moment they're not in that education. I'm not doing what I should be doing for them. Yes, I need to be doing it in the home. Yes, I need to be doing it in church, but to not have the third part of that of the classroom reinforcing the things that I believe. I'm just losing time. And so I would urge the same thing to parents, do the research, take a look, it's not enough to feel like your principles are nice guy or you've got two members of the school board. That's wonderful. We should fight those places. I don't think we should give up any space. But right now we're in a knife fight. We're in the kill zone. And they've got to surround it and you've got to act when you're in that spot.

Eric Chats With Hegseth and Goodwin About Teaching Love of Country

"One of the things that I think we just have to be clear in American public education before it went wrong in the 19th century, we would teach love of country, love of God, like these basic things, love of freedom. What is freedom? We really understood that there's just no pulling these things apart. And if we don't teach them, they go away in most of the world, they don't have this kind of stuff. So we had this pride in inculcating the generations with these ideas and celebrating them. And as we know, through the decades, this went away so that patriotism, it just kind of went out in elite circles. They were globalists were elitist. We don't believe in that rube stuff, you know, rah rah, America. And they demonize the concept of love of country, which I just find amazing, especially you served in the military. I mean, the idea that we would denigrate a healthy love of country as somehow jingoistic chest thumping, triumphalist. I mean, it's kind of amazing how deep those bad ideas got so that you have a lot of people in the country who they just kind of have gone along with that. Especially in the blue states. Yeah, we're self loathing at this point. America was to quote the disgraced former governor of New York, America was never great. That is the view of the left at this point. Can you imagine? With the history, but before it was Hannah Jones and the 1619 Project, it was Howard zinn, a people's history of the United States, which is the most prolific history textbook of the modern era. And if your high school doesn't have the book in the classroom, then the textbook that was written for your child's classroom was based on Howard zinn and people's history, which is American history written from the Soviet perspective. And then David Coleman and the folks at the college board rewrite the SAT to respond to the common core, which was based on Howard zinn. So now what your kids are learning, what they're tested on and they're entrance exams are based on a Marxist view of American history. No wonder we get kids that are pumped out saying, this America thing is terrible. We're teaching them that.

Hegseth & Goodwin on the Battle for American Education

"Back folks, we're talking about education, American education. Remember that? It's the book is the battle for the American mind uprooting a century of miseducation, Pete hegseth and David Goodwin, the authors. Again, the good news is we're waking up to this. The good news is there are solutions that are still possible. But we are in a battle. I mean, the teachers unions, for example, we now know, are just leftists. They are just marxists. They don't even believe that we should have a say in what our kids learn. I mean, it's kind of like we skipped backwards to Mao's cultural revolution, and we're suddenly in China in 1965. And the parents are being demonized by their own children. I mean, it's like, you just didn't think this could happen in America. Not only did they not think parents should know, they think parents are the rubes over here who are poisoning their kids with yesterday's dogma and it's the job of the school to give the correct education to hide the gender transition that's going on at school from the very parent. This is a war. We chose that intentional. I mean, I guess I have a military background. It is a war for the future of our country of ideas of our faith of the things our country was founded on. And if we don't, but education has just been this secondary issue for too many people.

"Going to go to another break here. We've got a final segment with Andrew Giuliani. The website, folks, please go to save NY dot org. We need your help. I need your help. I live here, folks. Save NY dot org save and Y dot org, the primary is June 28th. We'll be right back. Take a look at my life on the line. I need someone to love me the whole game through. This is a guy who on day two of his administration wrote a memo to his assistant district attorneys that said he was not going to prosecute, get this. Armed robbery and resisting arrest. What kind of a message does that send? We don't have recall in New York like they have in San Francisco or LA. But the governor has the ability under the New York State constitution article 8 section 13 B to fire any district attorney and on day one I will fire any district attorney that chooses not to execute their oath of office just like Alvin Brad here in Manhattan. And I think we can learn a whole lot from Christ teachings on that. And we saw it with pilot. We've seen it with so many others in the Bible that shows power over actually doing the right thing for people. Your father said, no matter what you do, we're coming after you, it creates a climate like law abiding citizenry. Andrew Giuliani God.

"That's why we have to get back to the common sense of the ideas and of the issues here in New York. So if you have people like Lee zeldin or others, that, you know, they're nice people, whatever, but if you don't recognize we're in an ideological war, when you have kids, it's effectively child abuse. Like the fact for the night that holds you life. American style oh hello, I didn't see you come in. My name is Eric metaxas. This is the Eric and taxes show. I have guests. Don't worry, it's not just me. I'm talking to Andrew Giuliani. I hope will be the next governor of the state of New York. That would be terrific. Andrew welcome. Eric, thank you as always. I want to talk to you a little bit about your family. Now, anybody who knows your dad, your dad is such a hero to me because I grew up in the city. I remember when it was a crime ridden mess, you couldn't dream that this city could ever turn into the oasis of safety and whatever that it became, and it's because your father was an incredible fighter. You know, because there are a lot of people that they have nice ideas, whatever, but your father somehow amazingly got it done, Trump is very similar, obviously desantis. There are few people that are emerging that have that fire. They understand things are bad. We need to try something new. We need to try something different. I know you're that kind of guy. And I can only imagine, in part, it's because you spend a lot of time around your dad. Yeah, I think first and foremost, working four years in president Trump's White House as a special assistant to the president, the last couple of years working with him every single day. And really, no one for over 20 years, but also growing up and seeing New York, as you mentioned, changed from the rotting apple as Time Magazine detail that in the early 90s, over 2000 murders a year after year after year, to less than 600, just 5 short years later, to less than 300 when those policies were actually continued by the next mayor. To be honest, Eric, here's the thing I think that's so important. It's what you're touching on right here. There's so many politicians that come in. They say they're going to do this and they get confronted with evil in their first term at some point. And they don't realize exactly what's going to hit them. They don't realize exactly how hard it is to make sure they push through that. Donald Trump realized that Rudy Giuliani realized that I learned from both of those guys. And frankly, I mean, I remember having a death threat against me when I was 12 years old because of a policy that my father and sewage, by the way, ended up saving New Yorkers lives. I know exactly the kind of evil that's going to be coming for me on day one. This is very simple. I'm looking forward to pushing through this that way New York can be a better place. New Yorkers are not going to get a cheap suit that's going to fold in Andrew Giuliani. They're going to get somebody with a backbone who's going to change this state. Again, I have to say that what makes it's one thing to get angry at Marxist leftist Democrats who I think are crazy. They're crazy. But I feel like they're naturally crazy or they're honestly crazy half of them. Some of them are really evil, but a lot of the lies a lot. A lot of them believe life. But what really ticks me off is the Republicans who enable them. And we have seen this, whether it's Mitch McConnell or Kevin McCarthy or whoever it is Lindsey Graham, a lot of people that, once in a while, they'll say something and you're like, great. But then you see over the course of time, they have enabled Marxist anti American thinking anti Christian thinking it. I mean, they have enabled this over the decades so that most Americans and certainly most New Yorkers just think, what world who's running this world, it doesn't have any bearing on the world that I live in. And I think that that's, you know, your opponent Lee zeldin and others, they seem to think that if we just play nice, everything will be okay. Right. And that's why we're in this mess. Well, I think this really important ideal to highlight here when you look at those who fold in those who actually push through its courage, right? I mean, it's tough when day in and day out you have a leftist press that's writing this about you and you have threats and it's easier to take a different way out. But you got to have somebody with courage that's going to come in there and make sure that they actually come in and change the thing when they do have all that that's fighting against him here. So to me, that's what I learned really in growing up in my father's household and seeing the transformation. But I also see and this is maybe just growing up in it day in and day out. I would not be able to live with myself if I couldn't look myself in the mirror if I couldn't look my wife in the mirror and tell them that I'm saying what I believe. New Yorkers, whether you agree with me on a policy or not, you're always going to get a genuine person in Andrew Giuliani. I think that's so important. Well, you know, it's funny too, because I know that you're involved. They could asleep was involved with you. And he's been on the show a bunch of times. He's another hero. These are people that it's almost like it's just a common sense thing. You realize, I mean, what Curtis Lee would did with the guardian angels and this kind of stuff in the city. They actually care about poor people. They think, what can we do to reduce crime? They're not playing that political game. No one has been more attacked than Trump than your dad. Curtis liwa, of course, was nearly murdered by the goddess. I mean, crazy stuff, but obviously it puts a fire in you that you're not going to play games. Yeah, Curtis has been stabbed and shot and he's been working to make New York a safer place for all New Yorkers for nearly 45 years now. So there's nobody that understands the challenges that New York has. And unfortunately, is still going through than Curtis. Look, the truth is when we talk about crime in New York specifically, there's a playbook that works. I don't want to sound egotistical here, but it's called the Giuliani playbook. Look, this is like math, ladies, gentlemen. This is just like math. It worked so dramatically that not to go along with it is sort of sick. It is. And when I think about and you mentioned this before, being compassionate to New Yorkers in Americans, there's nobody since Hudson sailed down that river that's a little bit west of us right now that save that save more New York lives than Rudy Giuliani because he instituted broken windows policing. He allowed our police to be proactive. And that actually ended up creating more bonds with communities in New York. We went from 2000 murders a year to less than 600 to less than 300. Eric, here's the thing that's so amazing. We were a 2000 murders a year or 300 murders a year are now up to about 600, which is where we're at. We're going in the wrong direction right now. 65 to 75% of those victims were African American victims. So if black lives truly matter to the left, then they would be making sure they'd institute broken windows theory. Look, that's obviously the point. When your dad was on this program, I was talking to him about, you know, what he did in New York was so dramatically effective that you would just say like sign me up. Lori Lightfoot in Chicago, whatever. And what it actually fascinates me, how do people live with themselves, a mayor like Lori Lightfoot in Chicago? How do you live with yourself knowing that hundreds and hundreds of black people are being murdered, but because I guess of your pride or something, you will not do anything to help them because maybe that means saying Giuliani did something right. We're.

Is that I think Americans, we've had it so good that we forget that the founders, they were living in a different time and they had to make this very clear, but we've been so blessed that in a sense, we're not really clear on how evil evil is, that power, you know, wants to increase power, wants to keep power, and we've never seen it on display in the way when the COVID thing happened. I say that I've been in that classroom. There's a story that was told to me. But it's beyond crazy what we're dealing with here. And.

"Out Bill Oakley and put in Hunter Biden. And I think your national audience will understand exactly what we're going through from a corruption standpoint here in the state of New York. And look, this is, this is to me what it boils down to is that you have two visions of America. The founders vision is about citizen government. We govern ourselves. We elect people transparently to represent us. And then you have what the founders hated was the idea of these career politicians who would come in and begin to make a nice life for themselves and they would go on decade after decade, whether it's the Biden family or the Pelosi family and they begin to put their tentacles out there and it goes into the generations and their families and siblings and kids or whatever and you realize it is fundamentally un American and it leads to corruption. There's just no way around it. That's what human beings do. They get power. They want more power. And basically, the Democrats have been very comfortable with that. Right. It's the unaccountable bureaucracy, which Donald Trump labeled draining the swamp and I mean, when you think about unaccountable bureaucracy from a state government level, New York's budget is $220 billion for perspective, the state of Florida's budget is $98 billion and they have a million more people. So you're absolutely right on this. Albany has been a cesspool and we are just not taking care of New York taxpayer dollars. What's more in terms of the amount of power that first Andrew Cuomo and now Kathy hochul basically have usurped in Albany, one thing that I dealt with a couple of days ago at our most recent debate was the fact that I was not allowed actually in the debate hall. I had to hang out. Again, no, no, no. Again, I'm interrupting because when something huge comes up, I want people to be like, listen folks. Listen carefully to this, because this is where we are. So tell this story. Yeah, so look, I have gotten COVID before. I still have natural immunity. And when they gave the first rules of the debate, CBS are local CBS station here in New York. They said you'll have to take a test to come in the room. I said, okay, I'll take a test to come in the room. About 5 days before the debate, they all of a sudden said, you need to upload your vaccination card. And I said, well, first and foremost, I don't think that's appropriate. Secondly, I don't have a vaccination card. I chose not to. I have natural immunity. I've got another reason to love Andrew Giuliani seriously. You're a hero because I've talked about the vaccine. It's an outrage and then the second level is the vaccine cards and this stuff. It's the second level of government intrusion outrage. So this comes to haunt you in the debate. Yeah, think about this in New York, right? To vote, we don't have to show identification, but for me to go and practice my First Amendment rights and represent all those New Yorkers who have expressed support and wanted to hear my views. I would have had to show identification, which I don't have, and I am proud to, look, I followed the actual science on this. I've read the Israeli studies, have read the Johns Hopkins study, and the fact that natural immunity is not even considered, is beyond absurd, also in New York, we need to bring back the religious exemptions when we're considering this. And that's something you're bringing this up. And Eric, you've touched on this so many times. We've lost a level of morality in this state, not just in this country, but in this state. When you're talking about lighting up the Empire State Building to quote celebrate your abortion, what have we come to as a society, as governor, we will fight against that. I will fight against that every single day and make sure we return our state to a level of morality where we can all be proud of. Well, and again, this is basic America. This is not some like we're imposing some the values. I mean, this is the most basic stuff. And the left in complicity with the rhino GOP, they really don't, they don't see this. But I just want to say, this is pure politics. The reason they did this to you with the vaccine, you know, suddenly demanding. And again, ladies and gentlemen, think how nuts this is. We're going to have a debate for the governorship of the state of New York, and they're saying, oh, oh, you know, because of it's so important. We've got the Bubonic plague. People are dropping dead. We need to know that you have been vaccinated. And if you're not, we're going to put you over in the penalty box just to signal to all the crazy people out there that you see this guy. Yeah, he won't get with the program. He's not getting like the rainbow BLM tattoo on his forehead. He's a bad guy. We can't trust him. It's such naked politics that they would at the last minute impose this on.

Andrew Giuliani and Eric Discuss the Differing Visions of America

"This is to me what it boils down to is that you have two visions of America. Andrew Giuliani, Son of Rudy, Is Running for Governor of New York

"I warned you that I would have a Giuliani as my guest today. I wasn't making it up. Here he is. Andrew Giuliani Andrew welcome. Eric always great to be with you. I got to say my interview with your father, mayor Rudolph Giuliani. I don't know, a month or two ago. It was so much fun. People just loved it. And I knew I've loved your father for decades and stuff. I only got to meet you a few months ago, but I'm happy to say that you're running for governor of New York. And the reason I'm happy to say that is because as I've gotten to know you, I've gotten really enthused because there are a lot of people that maybe they're on the right side of some issues or whatever, but there are very few people that I think have the zeal, the fire, the joy. To run and to win and to be a good governor and because I've determined that you do, I'm particularly thrilled to have you on the program. Well, you know, we met probably about ten days, two weeks after my daughter, my first child, daughter, my daughter, grace's birthday. And I got to tell you, you are the first book that was ever signed for my daughter, grace. But that brings up really what we're doing this all for. And I have to tell you, every single time that I look in her eyes or give her a kiss and see that toothless grin, I realize what we're doing this all for and it gives me conviction every single day to make sure that we're fighting for New Yorkers. And we're fighting to make New York a better state. Unfortunately, you know this well, Eric, we're leading the country now migration, their whole lot of reasons why. Okay,

"Percent off, one final thing I've been before I ask you about the subway. Yes. It is possible possible. This is, this is a very, very crazy thing to say. But it's possible that we will get Woody Allen on this program as my guest. And anybody who thinks, well, what are you going to need some kid? No, he didn't. And that's why I'm having him on the show because people who have canceled him. I don't care if I agree with you about everything. If people are canceling you, I want to stand with you. And I think all of us should stand with those who are being canceled because since it's happened to me, the half truths and lies that are out there about me, you just think like, people aren't checking into this, they're just kind of going along with the satanic agenda to cancel people. And Woody Allen fits in the category for me. You might disagree with him on all kinds of stuff, but let me tell you something. He didn't molest any kids. And if he did, I wouldn't have him on the program. But it just disgusts me. That this has been happening. And so I want to stand with him. He's one of the most brilliant writers filmmakers who ever lived, I can give you chapter and verse on that, probably better than anybody. So we're going to try to get him on this program. That would be insane. Okay, Alvin. Yes, sir. What's going on? Well, yesterday I was talking about coming in on the metro north and everybody has to wear a mask. Okay, metro north is the commuter train. Yeah. Coming in from Westchester county in this particular case. And this morning, though, Ann and I went totally maskless, okay? Yes, yes. Well, you're a married couple. That goes without saying. Yeah, exactly. So we're allowed. Okay, above the law. But anyway, so didn't wear a mask. And I was just waiting for somebody to say, hey, you're not wearing a mask, because I was going to say, well, check me out tomorrow. I won't be wearing pants. See, I got my comebacks ready, okay? I got you. Okay. So anyway, so then I get off the metro north at Grand Central, and they still have that old announcement. I am not kidding. It's been there for two years saying like, you must wear a mask and Grand Central, even if you're vaccinated, blah, blah, blah. Fortunately, about 75% of the people are not wearing masks. They're just coming and going and like, whatever the voice in the sky is saying, we're not listening. So that's great. I get on the subway. And this happened the last two days in a row. I noticed this advertisement on the subway, okay? There's an advertisement basically for people that are out on parole. I am not kidding. By the way, is there a through line to this wacky anecdote? Well, yeah, it's about what the message of who the messages are for. Okay, so the first part is you're coming in from Westchester on the commuter rail, you didn't wear masks. Number one, that's brave, and I salute you, my friend. So then once you got to come through Grand Central, now you get on the subway to come down here. And on the subway you saw the following ad ladies and gentlemen, Alban showed this to me. He's not making this up. Go ahead. It says, I photographed it. It says your new parole rights, okay? And there's a picture of a guy who looks like he may or may not be a criminal. He's not too threatening, but he might be from central casting. I don't know. He might be a criminal. But then in quotes, it says, every 30 days without a violation gives me 30 days off my parole sentence, okay? So this is an ad in the subway aimed at criminals because we know now criminals ride the subway evidently. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to shoot you potentially. Exactly. And it's sponsored by the legal aid NYC parole reform board. That's who sponsoring the ad. Now, back in the 80s, you know this, I know this. There used to be criminals roaming the streets, breaking into people's car and stealing their radios, right? And then people started putting signs in their car that said, no radio, because they were giving messages to the criminal like, hey, leave me alone, man. I'm cool. So I don't have a radio, don't break my window. I made up a license plate that actually said no radio. That's brilliant. Yeah. I actually made up a license plate like that. But what do you mean you made it up? Did you get a license plate? Well, I just wanted these will make anything kind of places. So I had a nice, light, nice and plate. One day I'll bring it in. You'll see. But anyway, so now they're messages for criminals on the subway saying like, please don't hurt anyone because you'll get 30 days off if you don't push somebody in front of a subway train. Isn't that kind and sweet at them? Well,.

We're going to have to come up with something. Yeah. But Andrew Giuliani is the son of Rudy Giuliani. I got to spend some time with them a while ago. And I was so impressed and thrilled to get to know them. And Andrew is running for the governorship of New York. Now, I want to tell you, we talked to Carrie Lake, she's running for the governor of Arizona. We're going to air that tomorrow. Tomorrow, yes. I want to say there is hope for America because there are people who are unlike those who have brought us to this mess, who are running for office. Good people. JD Vance. JD Vance in Ohio. Carrie Lake in JD Vance is running for Senate. Tons of people. So in a couple of minutes. And Lauren boebert Lauren boebert as well. If you read my book as atheism dead, you know how excited I am about that subject. And he was a really particularly good guest. We just taped that just last night. My goodness. I love this guy. So two exciting hours today. Also, I should mention, because we had Apollo astronaut Charlie duke at our last soccer. He's event. And it was the day after Memorial Day. It was a very bad time. So tons of people said, oh, I want to go. I can't go. So I said, when we do our next event, we're going to advertise it like a million years in advance. So September 27th, Andrew clavin. Folks, September 27th, New York City, get ready, Andrew clavin will be my guest. One quick thing that I want to mention, and then Alvin, I want to talk to you about your experience on the subway. Oh yeah. The subway. Okay, we're trying to get the whole travel. I want to get it. I want to get into that but before we get into that. I want to say this month only. This is June, ladies and gentlemen, June, 2022 hard to believe that we are that the future has come to us that we are now in the future. We've shaved our heads. We're wearing silver unitards. We've transcended hair in the future there will be no hair. There is a thing of the past. Way ahead of you. And we are so we're in the future. "And that's just that's the world we live in. It's been that way for millions of years, no doubt. No doubt. Byron Brown. I don't know. Are you celebrating a pirate proudly oral victory here? I think we are. I've tried to get him on the podcast. He has not responded to me. But he woke up and he won a race. Good for him. Good for all of us, because I think the alternative would have been a absolute dumpster fire. But I think that is best for buffalo. I would like to have other options down the road of people that maybe can step up and do different things. But I think good for good for mayor Brown and hopefully he can get the job done another four years. He's one of the quietest mayors around. It may be quiet good, right? Sort of stay out of the way, I guess. Board politicians should just do that by the way. Probably in positions of power to stay out of the way. Let things work around you, you know? Capitalism, keep the taxes low, do what you're supposed to do. I mean, just let people thrive. Small government, small government. So I was talking to Andrew Giuliani before last night actually, we were talking a little bit about he goes socialism isn't as big of a hit as maybe a people thought, right? Because at the end of the day, a lot of these socialist policies and socialist candidates are not even in Minnesota, right? The community policing idea. It did not go over all that well, because at the end of the day, that stuff doesn't work. You need cops with guns. And you need protection of your streets and your towns and your cities and your country, right? This idea that, yeah, we'll just send somebody over there to try and defuse the situation. That doesn't work so well. Send over a team of counselors to the drug raid and to the bank robbery happening right right now. There's a bank robbery. Let's send that over to the counselors and tell people they look. This isn't the right thing to do. Put your guns down, give the money back, like, yeah, that's gonna work. And especially when you're talking about mental health issues or people that have weapons that are not upstanding people that don't care, they're not going to listen to the guy or girl that comes over and says, please, Jimmy, don't shoot anybody. Just stay there. It would be nice. Just come on, come with us. That's not how it works. No. You need trained lives. And it was. It was rejected in Minneapolis. So maybe folks, I don't know. I like to think that we're not all very complacent. Like we do want to take part in elections, but I think it's true. I think you get wrapped up in your own lives. You know, whatever you're trying to do individually, maybe I'll marry person, maybe as a parent, whatever you're doing, I think it is so important now to say, this is also really, really important to start supporting the right people. Again, in your school boards, your towns, your cities, and in your state. It was a big week for conservatives in the right, but they can not get complacent. They're going into 2022, because those races in 2022, if they don't go the way you need them to, we are in big, big trouble. Folks, and when you get back, we're going to be interviewing Andrew Giuliani, New York, state, governor, candidate, please,.

"Hear each other. It's like that echo chamber. You know, it'd be like you saying something. I'm just like, yeah, yeah, yeah. What he said yeah. And he tried to get some real authentic information and facts and get the research and you just sort of avoid it. You go nah, so much easier to just nod my head when he says it's the right thing to do. They are lazy, they're ignorant, they're disgusting. They're just disgusting. And I hope the liberals, the actual Democrats, start rejecting all that crap too, because that's what I think is maybe going to happen because the Virginia Democrats clearly a lot of them said, no, Terry McCullough, no, I'm a parent too. I'm not voting for you because you're an imbecile and you think that I don't have a say in my kids education. Goodbye, Terry. Go go off with Bill Clinton. Bill got out of the hospital not long ago. Go bedside to Bill Clinton and make sure he's doing well as your pal. Okay, enough. Get out of politics all together. And to be fair, I mean, that was one of the worst run campaigns in history. Just putting Trump on blast 24/7 for a guy that wouldn't even bring Trump to his campaigns, right? Glenn youngkin made a calculated decision to say, I will take the endorsement from Donald Trump, but I'm not going to play this vote for me because I'm a friend of Donald Trump and I don't mean actual friend. I just mean, so the youngen campaign was phenomenal, not because he won just because he had a great campaign and a great message to his constituents in Virginia. And on the flip side, he had a guy that sat there and tried to race bait and play the Donald Trump card all year long and it didn't work. And one last thing to the far left here, it's okay to have opinions. It's okay to have differing opinions. One thing may be important to my cafe flick that's not as important to Mike's brazza. One thing may be important to Mike's brows, it's not important to be like, hey, that's okay. The idea is you got to come to work together and not put down people or just go against he's white, so he must be a racist. No, no, no, no. We as white people are not all racist. Am I saying there's not race out there? Of course there are. But the majority by 99% of people, 99.5% of people are not racist human beings. Right. And it's a great point. Just a great point. I'm also not perfect. Right. You told me something, and I have a different opinion. I'm open minded to hearing your facts. Tell me why, give me some time and I might just come your way because I might not know everything, right? They don't have a compromising bone in their body. They can not do it. They just, it's all about identity. It's about identity. And it has nothing to do with policy, has nothing to do with facts and research and what's good for all. It's just identity. It's crap. It's crap is what it is. And most people look, everybody comes from different backgrounds too. Everybody comes from different situations in life. Certain people may be tougher on drugs because their family had drugs in the family. Some people may be different on racism because they grew up in a town that had racism, right? I mean, everybody has different experiences. And again, that's what makes our country great. If we all come together and we talk about these things and we fix these things, 200 years ago is much different than 2021. Or 2022 about debate. We're going to live learn and grow over time..

Just so tired now. sleep anyways I went to bed right after recording one o'clock and now i'm feeling well rested. Go and i do it all for you and we go. Let's tell the people what's trending coach. K. is trending He's retiring but not not effective immediately right. He's gonna do the farewell tour. Yeah he still needs to. I guess he he ate quite ready but he's just letting everybody know maybe it's like to get the most of the players i don't know wouldn't you play harder if you knew like your legendary coach like this it man come on guys. Let's go maybe it's after this next season. So he's always looked like hitler if he shaved his mustache lake is well. He's got i always in my mind. I'm always surprised that he's not retired. He's busy returning it. No yeah it's been around for so long you wanna talk about somebody who's acting like. Their career has spanned five decades. That is andrew giuliani at rice. Mike mike chef ski. Yeah man. I remember when i was devastated. A i was shot out of a cannon into my duke hatred with When they beat the undefeated run and ribs Unlv which was like my favorite college team of all time and just the most corrupt program targeting intern caning years But man i love. I love that team. And i went to the final four game when they lost to duke and the began my long career of jinxing Anytime i go to a game where i really have a strong rooting interest It's bad news for that team. Anyways coach k. As my friends pointed out there's something about him that just says he loves pickles doesn't he just looked like he. He would love a pickle. Yeah like he's like if you went into his office or the coaches no. Yeah let's go on to my bring casts coach calebs pickles man or he like really respects it with a forty nine shit juice urged forking knife job knock coach on. I'm telling on skinnier. And i just wanted to give me an appreciation for how polish names or spell. Because i remember it. Blew my mind when i saw its stomach. It's mike chefs ski and then it's like coach k. And on my. And then. I saw him like write. English doesn't just work in Ignorant way americans think at least the roman the roman characters. Don't i think there's no better testament to the american character than the art form of shortening polish. Last names To just the first one. You just a letter. I had a friend Skin to leschi was his last name when we just call them ski. There it is there it is baby danny ainge is retiring. Also shout out to. I probably the person i like. The least in sports it's weird phonology tendencies allegedly But i think people have report on that But i mean this this is also common the heels or he was like when kyrie irvings. Like yeah you know. i don't hope for no hopefully. There's no racism in boston and his response. I never heard any of that for many single blair that i've ever played with my racism and boston and really in fact this is the first. I've heard of racism. Because i don't see color so also i don't know history and i don't know who said all of this shit that he dealt with when he played in the garden. I'm actually colorblind. I don't see history. So oh yeah that's when it gets really weird. I just like to look forward and away at conflict Anyways he's retired. He was the president of basketball operations of for number of years. Had a lot of success as the president basketball operations with the celtics And they just got this. This makes me love the nets So much more I'm looking for reason to root for the nets. I just love watching them. Because they've they've just nobody's ever put together three perimeter players as good as they've got and they just bounced them but bounced the celtics unceremoniously from the from the first round and the next day danger tires. Come on. i love you i love. Yeah anyways Good riddance to good garbage Proud boys and oath keepers are trending. Speaking of garbage urbana Their trip in man. Where what. Why are they tripping there. Because you know the the cases are getting You know they're they're intensifying like from the straight up conspiracy cases that they're building with the oath keepers like. There's just a huge. There's like schisms happening where people are trying to distance themselves from local. Chapters is disagreements. I mean this is you know. They're they're starting to scatter. I mean this one Journalist was putting it. That's sort of saying like you know the the reason people it's attractive is that they have like this. Were winning narrative really prevalent in clear in the trump years. Especially when you know. You're getting shout outs. And shit like that But this is sort of like you know there's pointing out there like it's very important that these people are as many people are brought to you know to try and find justice To actually come to counter that idea or that the presentation or concept of what these people are. It ain't winning. It ain't writing that. Yeah it's hard to hold onto white supremacy when you're so clearly not supreme right. I might one question. Just kind of tangentially related but that I think i asked on a recent episode. Blake do are there have any journalistic institutions talked about their plans. To deep dive into the insurrection Because i never had a lot like high hopes for any governmental truth fact finding commission right like it's not like incapable. Yeah so like why. Why were let's say want your money. They figured out real quick..

"To be joined today by my friend. Former federal prosecutor for many decades but not five decades like andrew. Giuliani claims that he's been in politics even though he's only thirty five years old and also hosted the justice matters podcasts. Justice matters youtube channel because welcome glen kirschner. Glenn welcome are you doing. I'm doing well thank you. It's been an interesting day so far in the news. I know biden just signed the anti asian hate act and hate crimes act and i think that that's a great speech that you made and we've got a lot going on and boy the investigative pressure. The legal troubles are mounting for the former guy as we learned just last night that not only is the new york attorney general tips james teaming up with Vance on the trump organization investigation making her civil suit also criminal investigation but that she has had a criminal investigation open against weisselberg. Cfo the trump organization and sent a letter letting them all know back in january. She's been doing this for months now. And i find that fascinating. And i was hoping to get your top line thoughts so top line thoughts are okay. What do we know based on this announcement by attorney general james and what can we reasonably infer. Well what we know. Is that if you're the target of an investigation and it goes from being a civil investigation to being a criminal investigation. We know that's bad for you. That's bad for donald trump. that's bad for the trump organization because civil investigations are all about money. All somebody can do to the target of a civil investigation is you know levy fines and penalties and make them pay restitution and then maybe at the most extreme they can prohibit you from running a business in the future kind of like when james shut down the trump charity and when she went after and is still going after the nra. But you know what civil doesn't land anybody in prison. Criminal can land people imprisoned. So we know that's bad for donald trump. We also know that too. Prosecutorial heads are better than one right. So tisch james has a full staff of lawyers with experience and expertise in certain areas and advance. The district attorney for manhattan has a whole battalion of lawyers with experience and expertise in certain areas. The fact that these two offices are jordan joining forces. I think spells real trouble for trump and

Andrew Giuliani Running for New York Governor

"Young man who believes what new york state really needs is a governor named giuliani. I will faithfully discharge the duties. And that i will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of mayor of the city of new york office of mayor of the city of new york according to the best of last thing before we go tonight. That was rudy. Giuliani's inauguration as new york city mayor twenty-seven years and one reputation ago. No one remembers the speech only the behavior of his son. Andrew parents watching cut the lads some slack. We figured who are we to judge. But then saturday night. Live including the essential. Chris farley decided. Let's go ahead and judge came here with twenty dollars in his pocket. He dreamed life could be better for himself and his children today to dream of a city. That can be better than it is. Everyone wants to come to new york. Artistic career yell. Fashion cultural institutions are the best in the world are well fast forward. 'til now andrew is all growed up and he's decided to run for governor of new york as one does when one's father is under federal investigation. He's been trying to get free media attention naturally. He did an interview with russian television last week again as one does. He's also made a campaign ad in which he does. The josh hawley raised fist thing in a near empty times square at night and today he formally announced his candidacy. And here's a preview. It didn't go well okay. Well my fellow new yorkers. "andrew giuliani" Discussed on The Patriot AM 1150

"Allow him not to. Andrew Giuliani, the son of the former mayor is now making his bid for this position. He joins us now, Andrew, Good to have you on the program. We've known each other a long time. Uh, the last thing I would ever want for my kids, is them the follow me into this business of mine. Um, I hope and pray they never do. I would never encourage it. Had your dad react to this. Shot. You know, I gotta tell you, well, first and foremost to just comment on one of the things you said there is in the introduction, but be honest about that Those 15,000 New Yorkers died because of Andrew Cuomo's ego. He did not want to give President Donald Trump the political wind of sending up the USS comfort so those lives would have been saved. If he had only recognized that he had had the space in the Javits Center, and he had a space in the U. S s comfort. As for that, Shawn and I think you know this is well as anybody. It's a time in our country and in our state's history. Americans from New Yorkers to step up. We can either leave or we can stay and fight and take back our great state, and we need to do this all across the country. And Shawn, I know from your platform. You do that every day and every night. And so, look, I look at my life as an opportunity over the next 50 years to make sure that we continue to build off the cornerstone that you that Rudy Giuliani that Donald Trump that Ronald Reagan built If I didn't get in this, Sean, I would not be able to sleep at night. Let me ask you because you know the numbers. You know the registration advantage and Democrats in New York City. Are we talking about 89 Million people, Ninth one Democrats that that makes it Much hard and these are hard core Democrats defund the police dismantle the police. Um, you know, green new deal radicals. Yeah. The way the numbers work out, Sean, you know any Republican who's gonna win New York State wide is gonna have to get close to 40% of the city. Just from a population standpoint, New York State has 19.5 million people. 8.5 of them live in the city. 11 million live in West Chester South, including national and Suffolk, So Republican has to be able to compete there. Who better to do that than somebody who has been taught and learned from by Rudy Giuliani. There's been no other Republican in the last 75 years it has been able to connect with New York Democrats, but more than anything, Shawn, We're going to go out there. We're gonna present I'm going to present my policies which are good for New Yorkers. Whether you're red or blue, Sean, whether they listen to your show where they don't listen to your show. The truth is We need to make sure that we're creating jobs and reducing taxes and making New York a business friendly state. We need to make sure that parents have a choice in their kid's education and that school choice and charter schools expand. And most importantly, Shawn and I'm sure you heard this from another Giuliani. At some point, we need to make sure the war on police stops. And it stops January 1st 2023 from the governor's mansion in Albany, New York, Where do you stand on fracking? Look, I mean, we can see property values eyes just the difference on the southern tier of New York between Pennsylvania and New York, and you'll see the Pennsylvania real estate is three or four times as expensive. We need to figure out ways in New York to make sure we are creating. Levin used that we're bringing jobs in so I absolutely am poor figuring out ways to make sure that we're doing clean fracking. In New York. The latest push in New York to get more revenue beyond the higher taxes. He's now proposing, the largest that New York would become number one in terms of state income tax. But other ways they appear to be wanting to get money is gamboling sports gambling and legalizing weed, which is never a good idea. My view. I believe it's a gateway drug. Yeah, but look, the numbers and I think this is where we need to be very careful with marijuana. But we also do need to realize that there is revenue, right? I mean, we can look if you're under the age of 18 years old. I think the numbers are if you're under the age of 16 and you and you use marijuana three times more likely in your life to be a hard drug user. If you're under the age of 18 and use marijuana, you're two times more likely. After that. It only gets up in multiples of one ex. So you know, I think we really need to follow the numbers. I believe the Republican Party has become the party of Science over the last over the last million be open to it. Can you do that? What? That you'd be open to it. I would be open to it over the age of 18 or 21 years old, but I would follow the numbers. Shawn, I follow the facts on this stuff. I wouldn't just ultimately make an emotional decision one way or the other, but certainly on mobile sports gambling, Shawn. What I have seen is I've seen more people would have the means. Leave the state golden to go to New Jersey and do it that way. I know more people that go to Jersey to do that. So that's lost revenue from New York. You know, we need to make sure that our next leader, our next government, you'll get this in a governor Giuliani takes a look at it looks. It looks at issues night not from an ideological perspective. From a problem solving perspective. You're gonna be asked the issue of social issues Now you your dad and I mean, I've known your dad. We've been friends for many, many years used to come on my late night radio show. And and you know on social issues. Uh, your dad was pretty liberal. You're gonna be asked, probably almost immediately. If not already asked. I don't know about issues involving, say, gay marriage, transgender sports. Um, issues like abortion. What your answers. Yeah, well, what? Truthfully, Many of these issues have been decided in the courts already. And so, anything that's been decided in the courts, I think is a candidate..
