#38 Holy Week, part 3 - burst 4

"Jesus begins by telling his disciples what signs to look for. The first one is misleading messiahs, don't be misled, he says, there will be impostors come and claim to be messiah. Many people will believe them, then he says you'll hear of wars and rumors of wars. Don't panic, he says, this is just the beginning. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won't follow immediately. Nation will go to war against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world, but all of this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come. As these events happen, you're going to be arrested, handed over to local councils, beaten in the synagogue, and that's the Jewish version of church outside of the temple, you'll also stand trial before the civil authorities,

Brandon Tatum: The Left Thrives off of Double Standards

"Some journalists named Wesley Lowry because I'm very interested in your perspective on the left's reaction to the buffalo massacre. Let's listen to journalist Wesley Lowry to Brian stelter over the weekend on CNN. Let's be clear. The stuff Tucker and Laura Ingraham say every night, it could be written by white supremacists very often. There is a section of this manifesto where the shooter starts talking about people always say diversity is strength. How is it strength? I could hear it in Tucker's voice. He says this all the time, right? But the Ben Shapiro's of the world say this is a big chunk about the idea of genetic differences that could have been pulled from an Andrew Sullivan column, right? There are plenty of people in our politics in our media who advance these ideas and advance them frequently. Oh, so it's Ben Shapiro's fault, or it's Andrew Sullivan's fault, or Laura Ingram's father, public enemy number one, Tucker Carlson's fault. Officer Tatum, they just can't help themselves, can they? Oh, these people are deranged and they're out of their minds and they live and they thrive off a double standards. It's quite ironic that they're willing to, you know, put the blame on Tucker Carlson and other conservatives who may have some ideas that are accurate that this guy plagiarized and used to the detriment of other people. But they're not out here talking about Illinois or any of these Democrats who are literally telling white people that they're the enemy of the world. They are really creating in my opinion these homegrown terrorists by spending most of their time making white people feel horrible about existing in this country, making white male Christian straight men feel like that they are the enemy of the people, make wealthy white men feel like they're destroying America every minute because they've accomplished the level of success. I think that more so, those individuals who are saying are creating this negative rhetoric create these deranged lunatics that go out and do this.

Joe Biden Just Gave Us the Ultimate Meme-Able Moment

"Another hard work and man in the conservative movement joins us now. It is the meme lord himself Benny Johnson, host of the left can't meme on parler. So Betty, welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. Thank you. And listen, Andrew, it has just been raining from heaven, memes, the sun king is back the maga king is back and Joe Biden gave them to us. It's incredible. Are they thinking? I know. I had to have you on the show today. As soon as I as soon as I caught wind of this meme moment, the ultimate memeable moment from Joe Biden cut one O 9, I'm going to play it for you, Benny, and I want your instant reaction at one O 9. They're dead wrong. Under my predecessor, the great maga king, my predecessor, the maga king, yes. The maga king. All right, meme lord. What have we seen the aftermath here? So the way that a meme starts is you have a moment, a viral moment, viral news story that is grounded in truth and it's something that happens, but you have to kick it off, right? There has to be a spark that

Amanda Wray on Her Case Against the Scottsdale School Board

"I am so pleased to welcome to the show Amanda ray, she is a Scottsdale mom who is now suing the school board for compiling a very, very creepy dossier about her and other parents in that school district who were fighting back against mandates who get CRT against all of the things that we rail about rail against on this show. Amanda ray, welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. Good morning, Andrew. Well, good morning to you as well. And you're in the Phoenix area. You are, you have chosen to take a bold stand and to fight back, we just had this story that broke this morning that despite assurances from Merrick Garland that parents were not being surveilled. They were not being labeled domestic terrorists or under investigation by the FBI for opposing such things as mandates. We now know that's not true. There's a whistleblower who has come forward and has shared that information with Jim Jordan, congressman Jim Jordan. Out of Ohio, we now know that that's actually happened in dozens of cases. You are a mom that's fighting back. It's very public. There was a whole press conference last week. You were joined by Dylan law group and Charlie Kirk was standing behind you as well. As well, what's going on here? Are you worried that you're on a watch list? You know, at this point, hearing this news, it's shocking, but I guess I wouldn't be surprised. It's amazing to me that what started in August of 2020 when we were just going to board meetings and asking for in person education for our children and to prioritize kids when we knew that they weren't at risk for COVID. We were met with such resistance and come to find out we were being surveilled by a school board member, his father, and there's even evidence that they were colluding with the school district in order to monitor our social media and to track our comments. And appearances aren't everything, but I don't really fit the bill of a domestic terrorist. I don't have a parking ticket on my record. So to be, it sounds outlandish, but I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere there's a tag on me

Andrew, thank you so much for having me on. Jack, I sort of teased you in a false way there because we can get to Ukraine. And maybe we'll get that in segment too, because I know. We can talk about the America last spending bill that was just pushed forward by 70%. 70%, 149 of two 11 in the house GOP voted for this thing. The last launch into it. Launch into give me your take. Well, I don't usually quote Tupac, but I might have to drop a few bars because Tupac, I think, famously said, you know, they got money for wars, but they can't feed the poor, right? And we're in that situation right now where literally I've got friends with newborns that newborns or babies, and they can't find baby formula. They're like, you got grandma's circling, you know, hitting up targets and walmarts across the Midwest across Pennsylvania. And we can't feed our own children. We can't prevent incursions on our own southern border. But we're going to spend 40 billion of your dollars and send it overseas to a war in Eurasia where there is no American direct national interest. That's your government. Right. That's exactly right. That's a miracle last. And it's a bipartisan consensus, which is the most infuriating

"I want to play another clip for a Bill Gates here from that same talk he was giving. That's just cut one. Let's go ahead and play it and we'll react to it after that. Cut one. It wasn't until early February when I was in a meeting that experts at the foundation said, there's no way, you know, this there's been too much travel without diagnosis for us to contain this. And then at that point, we didn't really understand the fatality rate. We didn't understand that it's a fairly low fatality rate. And that it's a deceased mainly of the elderly kind of like flu yeah, so glad we didn't overreact, right? Doctor Rhodes. Well, I just appreciate the fact that Bill Gates and his experts as soon as they realize that there was no way to quote contain this came out and said that lockdowns weren't effective in that, let's not crush the economy. Let's not cause an increase in drug use and suicides. Let's not destroy jobs. Let's do something different. It's interesting. He talks about it. And if you're watching talk, he's just kind of rattling off the top of the head like there were no consequences to this. No, it was his group that funded the IHME that gave us these bogus projections in the beginning that forced all the lockdowns that said there were going to be millions and millions of deaths. So Amelia culpa two years later, I mean, it's not even to me a culprit's like, oh, I guess we got it wrong.

Dr. Keith Rose Describes the 'Pfizer Docs'

"Doctor Keith rose, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. Thanks, Andrew. Yeah. Honored to have you as always my friend. You are a wealth of knowledge. You have been privately you and I have been chatting a lot about, let's just call it the Pfizer docs, all right? It was trending on Twitter as soon as that happened. You know, if you just Google Pfizer docs right now, all you will see is about 15 articles from Reuters, AP, newsweek, fact checking some of what they call the rumors on social media and conservative messaging boards. I think this is a really fascinating conversation. So I'm going to say like this, doctor rose. I don't know how to interpret all of this data. I'll be really honest. But we have pulled here on the show a lot of very interesting screen grabs, okay? So if the people have been pulling, they've been analyzing it this way and that. And I think it's completely fair game to talk about the Pfizer dogs. Now, for people who are uninitiated, doctor rose, tell us what the Pfizer docs are and how this became a news story to begin with. Well, my understanding is that Pfizer wanted the documents that are now in the public domain. Held for 75 years, I believe, is what they requested. And that in and of itself is bizarre. I mean, that's about the equivalent of taking the national security safes and putting it in your museum and locking them up for 5 years. You know, it doesn't make any sense when this kind of information should have been in the public realm. That was yeah, just referring to Obama taking up. Yeah, what was their justification for doing that? There wasn't a justification. And that's, I think that you have to look at things. We have a lot of content, but we also need to view that content and context. And that's what I think the liberals of progressives are very good is they corrupt the context of the content with quote fact

Josh Hammer Reflects on Sen. Amy Klobuchar's Abortion Comments

"Yeah, I want to play a clip for you here from senator Klobuchar. That I think, you know, when we talk about the constitutionality of roe V wade and obviously Casey sort of, in my opinion, obviously I think you would agree that it's unconstitutional. I think Alito's opinion was a skewered the original road decision. But let's play senator Klobuchar here, and I want to get your take on what she says because actually what she's saying from a sitting U.S. senator is something. I mean, this is not mazie hirono here talking here. I mean, which we just assume is she's going to say the most Atlantic, you know, far left out to see kind of the type of things. Is it senator Klobuchar, who many think is sort of moderate or left of center, but not far left. Listen to cut 6. Why should a woman in Texas have different rights and a different future and a different ability to make decisions about her body and her reproductive choices than a woman in Minnesota? How can that be in this country that we'd have a patchwork of laws? Your response. So senator Klobuchar and I actually went to the same law school and, you know, I would like to think that when she was in common law back in her law school day, she knew better about the actual constitutional law underpinning the roe versus wade and its murderous successor, of course, Planned Parenthood versus Casey 92. Now, look, I mean, John Hart Eli, okay? There are so many liberals who have criticized roe versus wade's fallacious reasoning or beers. But John Hart Eli, who is a longtime constitutional law professor at Harvard Law School, he was the dean of Stanford law school as well. He was personally liberal progressive he supported abortion rights, but he famously said in 1982 that roe versus wade was not constitutional law and barely even gave a semblance of purporting to be constitutional law. It was literally no less a feminist leftist progressive icon than the late justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg herself. We said the roe versus wade overstepped that the court should not have acted there when it did. They should have stayed cool, let it play out democratically in the states. So, you know, what I hear from senator Klobuchar there is, you know, it's constitutional illiteracy. It's also moral illiteracy, of course. We can't forget we're talking about it. You are talking about the wanton murder of now 63 million unborn children since roe versus wade came down in 1973. 63 million. I mean, it's really just difficult to kind of wrap your mind around around that kind of number. But you know, there's something about you said there, Andrew, that I think there's a modicum. There's a small, small sliver of correctness. Where I think she's correct, is that it ultimately is unsustainable for in the long term. My personal perspective in the long term for this to actually be a state

Josh Hammer on This Week's Unprecedented Events Surrounding SCOTUS

"I have the privilege now of welcoming the next guest to the show. Josh hammer, the opinion editor for newsweek, Josh, welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. Andrew, good to see you, my Friends. Always a pleasure. I likewise, likewise. You are, in my opinion, one of the most prescient legal minds on the conservative side. I think you're very fair. I think you try and play it very fair, but you write extensively about the constitution, you are very well versed on the Supreme Court. Obviously you're the opinion editor at newsweek, so you have a very powerful platform. From a legal mind such as yours, looking at what's been going on over the past week and really accelerated over the last couple of days over the weekend, trying to paint a picture for the audience listening just how unprecedented this is and just how truly radical it is in your estimation. Yeah, no, Andrew, there's so much to unpack here, obviously. But before we get into the constitution and the Dobbs case and all of that, just any pro life perspective, someone who personally, you know, I cofounded law students for life, the pro life student group back when I was in law school at the University of Chicago. I have marched in sub zero temperatures in Chicago, back when I was in law school there on four life, it is really, really, really terrible that the culmination of now a half century of pro life efforts to speak on behalf of unborn children for the sacredness of all innocent human life has now been sullied by this unprecedented and really just disgusting alinsky eyed at all cost tactics that we are now seeing. And, you know, it's easy to call things unprecedented, but in this particular case, Andrew, they're literally is zero precedent for what we are seeing right now. This kind of thing simply does not happen. The Supreme Court literally can only get by when the justice is the clerks know that their emails are not going to be leaked because if the entire notion of a government of laws and not of men to kind of borrow the famous quip from John Adams back from the 1780s, if that phrase means anything at all, it means that the judicial branch and the Supreme Court in particular can not possibly be swayed or cowed by public mob

So we're glad that he's taking some well deserved time off. In the meantime, we have news to cover. And I'm honored, as always, to be behind the microphone, filling in for Charlie Kirk. All right, well, listen. There's a lot of news as I've already said. Mainly, the lead story over the weekend was the protests going on around the homes of the Supreme Court Justices. We have reports of doxing their homes. We have reports of their addresses. We have reports that justice Alito and his family have been moved to an undisclosed location as pro abortion activists in Virginia, Maryland assembled outside of the homes of these justices, including Brett Kavanaugh's home, where they chanted, we will not go back and picketed with signs. Earlier this week, Alito even canceled an appearance at the 5th U.S. circuit Court of Appeals judicial conference because of these far less far left

Producer Andrew Discusses the Speculation Around the SCOTUS Leak

"We have been speculating on this show to what extent would the left rise up in their frustration at the leaked Dobbs decision, which demonstrated that in a 5, four majority, roe V wade, and Planned Parenthood V Casey were both going to be overturned. Alito was the drafter in that leaked decision. Now, a lot of people are speculating who leaked it. A lot of people are speculating who's going to be caught if that leaker is going to be brought to justice. Senator Ted Cruz has been speculating that it would come out of Kagan's clerkships. Now, something interesting to note here with the clerkships, each justice only has four clerks, so you've got 9 justices. You've got four clerks each. That is a very small potential pool of candidates and leakers. Now, senator Cruz says that it was likely Kagan, though he has no evidence. But based on a hunch, he believes that it was probably Kagan's because she is the most hardened partisan on the bench. Now our friend will Chamberlain, who came on the show last Friday and gave his breakdown of who he thought it was. But regardless of who the leaker is, it has set off wide street, widespread, protest, activists, and the like around the whole houses of these justices, which is despicable.

Monthly Rents Skyrocket Amid Record Inflation

"Hey everybody, Tyler Charlie Kirk show. What are the new results out of Ohio mean for the midterms? Our Democrats favored to win anything at all, and also a new announcement from turning point, pack, TP pack dot com that is TP PAC dot com, or you guys can contribute some grassroots donations to help America first candidates across the country that's TP PAC dot com. We talk with Tyler Boyer about that and the need to reclaim the America first mantle from the ground up. Email me your thoughts is always freedom at Charlie Kirk dot com, get involved with turning point USA at TP USA dot com or email me your thoughts is always freedom at Charlie Kirk dot com. Buckle up everybody here. We go. Charlie, what you've done is incredible here. Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus. I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk's running The White House folks. I want to thank Charlie. He's an incredible guy, his spirit, his love of this country. He's done an amazing job. Building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created turning point USA. We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. That's why we are here. Brought to you by the loan experts I trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific mortgage at Andrew and Todd dot com. I want to lead with this one thing. I have a friend of mine who's a wonderful American from Dallas, whose in real estate, probably one of the top private owners of apartment buildings in the country. And he just said, hey, Charlie, I want you to see these rent inflation crazy numbers. I'm not going to say his name just to, you know, for obvious reasons. But so this is the last 30 movements, okay? So Phoenix, for example, for the last 30, the average prior rent used to be 1325 a month for his and he owns apartment buildings all over Phoenix. Now it's 1693 a month. That means that rent has gone up 27.8% on average in Phoenix. It is last 30 movements. Austin, 23%, San Antonio 21%. Dallas Fort Worth, 18%. North Carolina, 16% Houston 15%. The real inflation rate, I said this the other day, and someone laughed at me, but when they laugh at us, that's how you know we're probably right. I said the real inflation rate is 35%. I said it's right near there. For working people, that's about where it is. If you count gas, you count food, you can't travel. You count all that other stuff. So Andrew and I were talking in the break, he says, I don't know, I don't know, have we peaked too early, Andrew said of Republicans, are we going to be able to sustain this the November? I said, look at these rent numbers. You're trying to tell me people are going to keep the people in charge over this. I don't know, but someone who does know is Richard barris, from the people's pundit, and he's wearing a tie just to make me look bad. Big data polls, Richard barris, Richard. Welcome back to the program. Hey, thanks for having me back. I appreciate it. So a lot to unpack here. Let's start with kind of what happened in Ohio. What does that message send? What is your polling show? How big of a deal is what just happened in Ohio? You know, it's a big deal, Charlie, for the future of the party. The direction of the party, you know, the Trump endorsed candidates outside of JD Vance even did great. There was the first congressional district in Indiana. She won, so, you know, I mean, oh, and by the way, Ohio 9. So that was a race the media definitely was watching and trying to take out, you know, take down the Trump endorsed candidate. He did pull it off and he did incredible in an outside of Toledo, which is where a lot of people thought that Gaborone would do better. You know, so in the end, if you look at where van specifically got his support from, the reason I think a lot of these polls messed up outside of Vance's 100% correct. Outside of Remington, which was pulling for another campaign, they were just wrong. Some of the other public polls didn't really catch Vance's full support because when a pollster does a likely voter model, I suspected this was happening and it did. Those new Trump accounts, they're not really Republicans, Ohio has a lot of them. And they'll tell you, I'm going to vote. I'm likely to vote or I'm certain to vote. But then the pollster will go back and look at vote history and in a primary. If they're not a two out of four voter, meaning they voted in at least two and the last four primaries, they'll get screened out. And because these voters are newly Republican and close primary, they didn't have much vote history and you could see it all over. Mahoning, Youngstown, trumbull, the election day and wood in the northwest, just south of Toledo. That was Trump vote. That is Trump vote. And then Vance did excellent, obviously. In Cleveland, Hamilton county and the suburbs around it. So at the end of the day, it sent a very clear message. The president saw a very strong grip on the Republican Party without a doubt.

"Can we just beat here and remember that like we're together now you know i don't know yeah 'cause you're right. Katie likes to speak her mind and as much as she could be happy with somebody and be protective of that relationship. She could also be like but i have feelings and thoughts and i'm not gonna just let them go because i'm with somebody you know like i don't know i feel like i feel like she's really going to speak her mind. Yeah just what. I hope is that the perception isn't what happens on the mental no not African rose but like the perception of it could be like. She's not over him if she's right however she reacts and that's what's scary for me for the other. I'm just super empathetic to the other guys in this whole thing because they've had to take a backseat to greg this entire season. I'm sure they're just so sick of the greg show. Yeah so that sucks for them. I totally agree with you. I totally agree Okay i've got one quick game of would you rather bachelorette edition before we go. Would you rather spend a day with michael. A or andrew s. Oh i andrew s. But i want to go to austria with andrew s. I want him to like show me around where he played football. And i want to get something out of it. Like i don't wanna go to like a play date with like michael and his kids. Go the jungle gym you on good austria. I don't need to go to like the the bounce house. I want to go to austria. That's usually i am. Would you rather have to speak in andrews english accent for a month or only use maple syrup in the bedroom for a month of the english accent for sure. That just seems like such a mess. It that's what i when he was like amused it in the bedroom. And i'm like maybe like once he has but like you learn very quickly to not do that again. Yeah i mean like and also like if you dripped any of it on the bed. Like there's it's gonna like attracts like feathers. Hair is gonna be like this like grow spot you know. And also not a great natural lubricant. You know not dries up quickly very sticky and it just didn't make a lot of sense when he said that Okay would you rather go on a double date with connor. The cat and the girl from the audience made out with or michael a and james to a bouncy house connor. I love connor. But yeah you gotta understand like connor And i not to say that. I didn't spend time with. Maybe michael impaired. I spent a good amount of time with Corner in paradise. And he's like what i like about him he's such a can dork but up. But here's the thing i he owns it like. I just like people that like know who they are and just can likely be themselves and like he knows in a nerd and and he's a hilarious nerd so i so funny and quirky and talented and lak- he really is his own person. I i agree with you..

Oh my goodness gracious. She is a VP of sales over at second ago which which is a security company and. I haven't talked to you about this shock. You a little bit but she actually might bring a compliment to her. I'M NOT GONNA announce it we're still working on it but April eighth ladies. This is going to be a very interesting conversation. Because it's all about really The support of developing entrusting into one individual to create a career career. So You Guys. I Love Jennifer. I Love Her story and she is a spitfire. If you guys think I have energy wait till you meet Jennifer very cool so like shocked right now by the twist. The plot twist that could become. Hey we're always shaking up an Asian. Colin can't be always the same same so guys join us on March Twenty Six At city central at seventy some fifteen. Am to meet with Gary Hoover as well as April Eighth. Join us with To meet Jennifer Benet over sex ago without further ADO Aaron. Let's trump Internet episode with EPA E. Sports Performance Academy. I love this one. Yeah I mean you talk about something. You never thought you'd be talking about three years ago right and it's a whole business now and just with these two have done with us. It's it's truly mind blowing. I mean I can't believe some of the conversations that we have and some of the opportunities that these people have actually created absolutely so we are going to be welcoming Andrew Andrew Cooley and Andrew English cofounders of E. Sports Performs Academy both former East sports players. So they've been in the game. They understand the challenges that sports Future players are going to go through and we're talking about players were talking professional quality players where there's actual You know team sport where there's money involved this is not casual players and they're looking to build their own. Jim If you will and to really enhance performance as well as take care of your mind body and soul while you're playing very cerebral gain. Yeah so I should listen Kane but anyway So on that note without further Ado Very excited to share with our conversation with Andrew Kuechly Andrew English of e Sports Performance Academy Andrew Andrew. Welcome guys innovation calling. Thank you have enough. It's going to be easy to remember exactly. I remember the first time being Andrew. Cooley said Oh my name is Andrew and I'm thinking okay great then I look and then I Andrew English comes up and he's like my name's Andrew and that point I was like okay now. They're messing with me. So the way we met Aaron was at this great event over at city. Central are Oh with your partnership and they had a wonderful Powell and conversation regarding The whole e Gamy sports industry and I thought it was say that very hesitantly well because I got educated on terminology that we can talk about that. Both Andrews will help enlighten me again after our great conversation with John Davidson I was really interested in learning more about sports in general and heads. Thanks again guys for coming. Okay so gentlemen were you. Is it true you guys have played video games before that is that is true? I think maybe once or twice once or twice okay. I'm joking okay. So let's talk about you know so. Epa East Sports Performance Academy Really Cool Organization. But before he this okay. I'm sorry I can't remember this conversation. It is so crazy that this is a company a very successful coming in. You guys are running wild to me that we were talking about this conversation. Go ahead sorry exactly. Well let's just kill you know. Let's just say what is East Sports Performance Academy okay so he's fourth performance academy focuses on developing the next generation of professional players coaches talent and he sports basically at the very high level And why would you guys start this business? So one of the things that entered. I've always discussed like since we've known each other. Is that kind of the developmental pathway for going pro sports. I was pretty bad if you go look like traditional sports football basketball soccer. Whatever name any of them they have this very structured developmental path. You go you know. Ymca middle school high school collegiate. You can Coach like select teams when you're in high school and stuff to to help facilitate that or academy programs for soccer And then you go into the pro scene hopefully But none of that really exists for sports. I mean there's a ten year difference between he and I it didn't exist. I was going through. The PRO scene. Didn't exist whatever he was at that point either and so it was something that was really meaningful to us that we want to be able to provide the next generation in east boards. Everything that we didn't have to help facilitate that growth so that they can have an opportunity to play pro play. Collegiate had a career in the industry so on and so forth. What are some of the common misconception? Someone may have about understanding the pro like going pro to be able to go pro. That's Kinda just curious. That's fine I just thought I don't know if he wants to be talking the whole time So I I guess you'd be astounded by the amount of people that I've coached and worked with and then like yes. I want to go pro. And they're very talented players. There's some like in the top five hundred top seven hundred in the country Or in the continent. And what happens is that they don't they get fixated on kind of the spotlight and the limelight. And you know I want to be in that kind of celebrities. Glorified State But they don't understand all the work that happens just like a traditional athlete. It's all the work in the time that you put in off the camera. That's what matters so that you could be on the camera in the spotlight so it's a lot of work. It's not just sitting there playing the game Especially anymore growing up. That's that is pretty much what East sports was as he would just plant practice and play the game. I'm over and over again for you. Know Eight ten twelve hours a day but the great thing with the growth in the industry is that there's so much research being done on the Health. Nutrition Wellness Mental health so on and so forth. But it's especially kind of like our philosophy of approaching things is that it's a very holistic approach To make sure that we facilitate growth from every angle because it all feeds back to cognitive function. Select you straight up intellectualized something that quite frankly as kids growing up like you know. We're GONNA go play some you know. I don't Know Video Game Game Contra I love Contra Okay so how did okay so you guys were both You guys have both have had a career in playing games can talk to me about that. Because how does one even get into this like you just by virtue like online like? Oh I'm gonNA play or winning a lot and somebody finds you and they're like you should play pro league. How did you guys get in? Yeah you're for tell us your story. Yeah and I think that's that that was the hard part I mean I was I was a player in high school. And I kind of just stumbled upon this game called League of legends and I fell in love with it and I pretty quickly understood that. This was something that I wanted to do in my life but I didn't really know how to make it into that professional scene and so It was me just going home every day. And doing what I could display and get better and Eventually is finding another group of people who are looking to to also have the same same goals as me and just playing with them until eventually I got spotted by a coach or something who needed me and is very Luck based almost at some points where you could put in all this work and not get spotted because there is no no path win so as far as getting into the players side of things. Who's just going home and working every day and trying to get better and hoping to get spotted the so again because Maynas Quite a quite a long time ago. I found out what he supports was when I was twelve and I watch my first tournament at that point. I had no idea it was the thing and I was like. Oh crap people play this professionally like this is amazing And I remember getting done watching it like my job is literally hanging open while I was watching these guys do what they do and game called counter strike. Now they've counter strike global offensive back. Then it was called. One point six If geared around my age you'll note that is and if you're not then you'll know what cs goes anyway. So there is this This system called CAL. Cyber Athlete Amateur League and basically you tried to progress through cal to climb up high enough to be able to potentially teammates partners but I mean two tangents point of it was just luck. Based do I meet the right people? Do I meshed with these guys Do they need the person that has my area of expertise and then you know. Hope you're able to to get on a team eventually So you climb the ranks through. That did the same thing in a world of warcraft and left for dead and it's just a matter of hey you're really good. Oh we're really good. Oh we all have emissions to try and play professionally. Let's create a team and let's hope that we get picked up by sponsor noticed or you know you get the idea so Unfortunately very archaic but We've made some. The industry has made some progress for sure But it's definitely far from being where traditional sports and hopefully we can help. Get it to that point did you. Do you do audition. Do you scout like what? I don't understand how these teams another stupid question after that one. Go No not that stupid but I have like another. Gosh I guess in my head. I guess for lack of better term because again. I don't know your industry that well but is there like a read it type community where you guys talk to each other and then like the time you find each other or are you just playing games online. You see people's names come up often how I don't understand how you find each other. I guess. So that's the thing that's very disjointed and disconnected is that I think that there's probably a lot of platforms that are being created around being impo. Facilitate that in a better manner. I'll put this out there. Somebody if they haven't already can go create it but like I had an idea about six years ago that I wanted to create something that was like Lincoln and facebook and match dot com but it was strictly for like facilitating players. Getting linked up with each other I haven't really I mean..

Oh we all have envisions to try and play professionally. Somebody if they haven't already can go create it but like I had an idea about six years ago that I wanted to create something that was like Lincoln and facebook and match dot com but it was strictly for facilitating players..

"Have returns for you as a all night long until late working night here on eight forty? W. H A S. But Haley has got some numbers for us in the governor's race on the democratic side. Or what do you have in front of you? I don't want to know on the democratic side, rocky Adkins. Who's the house minority floor leader here in Kentucky is leading with thirty seven percent of the vote that actually went down a significant amount. It was like over forty a second ago. Beshir's right behind him with thirty three percent of the vote. Bevin is still leading on the Republican side, but only by like with fifty percent of the vote. Oh, who's the second place person Robert Goforth? He's a state Representative Robert go forth, and what percentage does have over forty percent. Oh my gosh. Are you kidding with about forty percent of precincts reporting who will just came in so okay, I'm not that's a bad sign? And that's what everyone's talking about is even if Bevin wins the Republican primary are the people that voted for Goforth still. Support that end it'd be like, not a chance, I'm going. So that's and then the ones that have actually come in finalized, Heather, French, Henry is the she stepped rushing. Godal crushing. Listen, I'm crossing lines for her. Okay. Now, who is the Representative on, on her, who's she going to go against in the election? Hold on. Let me pull it. I'll be interested to know what percentage turn out there was today because what I went by. It was a ghost stay with my mind. There was one there. They were projecting about twelve and a half percent. But they think it's going lower. Lower than that. Because we both the primary nelin shows up to primaries in Kentucky. Is a huge mine is a huge polling area huge in ariz- about a dozen people that I was at about noon. Then Heather French Henry won with seventy one percent on the Republican side is Michael Adams. They're still tallying votes. He hasn't won but he's leading with forty percent of the vote and second-place, Andrew English only has twenty six percents, she's gonna win, so that's gonna win. She and she's such former Miss America. She's a former veterans affairs. Tirelessly for the veterans fee gets out there herself and has for years. It's not it's not pandering. But she is it wasn't her husband Lieutenant governor. It's one point. Yes. Yes. Okay. So families. Got some. His name was. Steven french. No, that's that's true. So no. So they at least the families got some some experience, right? Exactly. And we kind of figured she was going to be the front runner in the democratic side. So that's the secretary of state race. And the other finalized agriculture Commissioner. Ryan quarrels has won the Republican primary. Okay. So eighty percent of the vote, I did not know who to vote for their so I just close my eyes and I went back. I don't know that that's smarter. But I still a lot of people do know agricultural guide, does I, I wanna vote, but they're not here. Here's what's weird about the, the agricultural Commissioner or whatever. Yeah. He's on every single gas pump. Yes. And then here's something else. All the rides like the fair. Yeah. They're inspected by the Agra. I'm like qualifies the agricultural, his carnival ride, I guess about two state auditor, state auditor, let me pull that up. We'll Mike Harmon was uncontested on the Republican side. He's the incumbent but on the democratic side. Sherry Donahue is currently leading with forty five and a half percent. What about class treasurer? That is class. Treasure. Well, that was auditor auditor, I'm so I'm honored. So that's the guy I voted for, I guess, is getting killed. Did you Toby, Chris Chris has nineteen percent nineteen percent? That's not bad. Third place. Three but yeah, so second place in that is came. I voted for. But in a way in a way aren't all the candidate winners? No, they all get a participation trophy. This year. The budget. But in a way, I haven't we all one. I really don't think we have. No, we haven't won. So in the election is a year way. So we're. Remember? Like a half a year. Oh my God. Barreling towards his all right. So you guys doing some updates here every thirty minutes on the twenty in on the fifty you going to join us tomorrow, filling in for Terry. Sure. What time you want? Well, we're on from three job here. Right. Right. Oh, you got one. You're just not very good at it. And that's why they're like push Haley. This. News. Are you gonna make Patrick dress up like a special forces got tonight so I can keep my hands. He went amazed. Defend. There is no defense. He looks a lot like Pat. Seven-foot.
