"It's actually historic. These are dark times for our nation. As my beautiful home Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege. Raided and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has ever happened to a president of the United States before. After working with and cooperating with the relevant government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home, was not necessary, or appropriate. It is prosecutorial misconduct. The weaponization of the justice system and an attack by radical left Democrats who desperately do not want me to run for president in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and conservatives in the upcoming midterm elections. Such insult could only take place in a broken third world country. Sadly America has now become one of this countries. Corrupt at a level not seen before. They even broke into my safe. What is the difference between this and Watergate? Where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee. Here, it's the reverse. Democrats, broke into the home, of the 45th president of the United States. Let me just stop you for a second because I'm going to call this a burglary. I decided earlier today, why? Because there is no way there is a predicate here. The fact that we're not even allowed to see the search warrants justification means there is no justification, meaning this is a state sanctioned burglary. This isn't the servicing of a warrant, and that's how it should be treated and labeled. The political persecution of president Andre Trump has been going on for years. With the now fully debunked Russia, Russia Russia scam, impeachment hoax number one impeachment hoax number two and so much more. It just never ends. It is political targeting at the highest level. Hillary Clinton was allowed to delete an acid washed 33,000 emails after they were subpoenaed by Congress. Absolutely nothing has happened to hold her accountable. In fact, she's joking about it on Twitter right now. We'll talk about that later. She even took antique furniture and other items from The White House. That's true. They actually stole furniture and cutlery from The White House. I stood up to America's bureaucratic corruption. I restored power to the people and truly delivered for our country like we have never seen before. The establishment hated it. That's the key set sentence, the establishment. Now, as they watch my endorsed candidates win big victories and see my dominance in the polls, they are trying to stop me. And the Republican Party once more. The lawlessness, political persecution, and witch hunt must be exposed and stopped. Even someone who's not magga, he's a good guy, but he's not maga, had this to say on his Twitter feed. This is Ari fleischer, president Bush's former press secretary, and he nailed it. It's three tweets in a thread. Questions for The White House today. You said President Biden doesn't comment on Department of Justice criminal probes. Why then did he publicly call for the prosecution of anyone who doesn't cooperate with the January 6th committee? Number one. Number two, why did he raise the Logan act in January 20 17s Oval Office meeting with the Department of Justice to discuss how to handle Mike Flynn? We know that. That meeting has been declassified. Biden suggested using the Logan act to crucify general Flynn. And three, why did Biden preordain the outcome? The outcome of a DHS investigation into mounted border patrol officers by promising quote consequences. Biden has a history of seeking certain outcomes in government investigations. So why should we believe he knows nothing and his privately said nothing about this investigation? I don't believe it. And the fact that the FBI director is on holiday. And the DoJ refuses to still comment on this unprecedented state sanctioned burglary tells you that they're in trouble. And I give you my. Conclusion now. Because of this, because they are so out of touch, with the 74 men in Americans who actually voted for president Trump. They have made him stronger than he has ever been before..

"Tea and joining me this week is our body politick contributor Errin Haines, editor at large at the 19th. Hey, Aaron. Hey. Therefore I and carrying a t a global opinions editor at the Washington Post. Welcome back to our body Politick. Karen. Thanks So much for a all right, Erin. It is yet another week in politics. What are we talking about today? So it is and you know, since we have a global editor with us today, for I thought we would start with the global perception of the United States. So earlier this month, a poll was conducted by the Alliance for Democracy Foundation and found that the US is seen as a bigger threat to democracy than Russia or China. There were 50,000 respondents and 53 countries. Nearly half of the respondents said that they're concerned that the U. S threatens democracy in their country. Compare that to fear of Chinese influence, which was a 38% and fear of Russian influence at its lowest at 28%. Karen, I want to come to you and ask, Why do you think that this is happening now? And what does this say about our own assumption that the US is a worldwide defender of democracy? This is such an interesting question and development that's probably in many ways is we're seeing a bit of like the aftershocks or the political hangover. The global influence hangover from the trump years. Look, let's be real for a long time for for decades. Across the world, whether it's Latin America, whether it's Africa, whether it's the east in long Binh criticisms of the United States domestic record when it comes to human rights. I mean, if we think back to the civil rights era in many ways, I mean, the civil rights era here was, you know, cross pollinated with what was being seen and done around the world. You know Martin Luther King Was criticizing three us his actions in Vietnam, for instance, and we Mohammed Ali, so it's not knew that the US is sort of self assumed position As the quote unquote leader of the world has been challenged. I think what is perhaps new now is in the last. Let's say, maybe perhaps five years. Most was like the advent of social media with global media networks and, frankly with witnessing the pandemic. And the insurrection on January 6th at the Capitol building. It's really just been in the protests, of course over black lives matter, and George Floyd. It's really just been literally we can't escape. The whole world can escape. The U. S is issues when it comes to its stated positions on democracy and human rights, and it's actual Actions. So you know for for these reports, you know, just they're just adding data points in many ways to what many again people activists, scholars, legal analysts around the world have been saying for a long time that The U. S doesn't walk the walk when it comes to democracy and human rights. It talks the talk. We've exported a lot of our nice ideas about democracy and freedom and fairness. And yet here at home, all of our problems are under slave for the world to see. So far, we saw a major threat to our democracy. When former President Trump call for foreign interference in the elections he ran in. What do you make of the 100 Republicans, who are now threatening to form a third party if the GOP doesn't loosen the grip of the former president. You know, it's really fascinating. I mean, I can't help but think about some of the reporting I did during the 2016 cycle when Jeb Bush made this very minor dog whistle about, you know, Republicans not just offering black voters free stuff, and I went into the history of free stuff is a dog whistle. But it's so mild compared to kind of What we got, and I do. I can't help but think where I'm going with this if, as many centrist Republicans had stood up during the early days of the 2016 dog whistle cycle and Before candidate Donald Trump had gathered Momenta Mwah, There have been a different outcome. So you know, I think it's a very complicated thing. Because right now the power center is still with Trump ist, you know, as evidenced by the leadership ouster of Liz Cheney so Um I will be very interested to see whether this has a long range effect. But it's certainly making a statement that centrist Republicans are not happy with the direction of the party. Yeah, Let me jump in here. It is so interesting. This notion of Republicans Andre Trump asking for foreign help Tol pdam with with their elections. It's frequently a talking point of conservatives for a long time that an argument for why the U. S. Doesn't need the U. N And we don't need foreign interference. We could do things on our own. I remember maybe a few months ago, I had a somewhat a sarcastic tweet about our issues and with democracy. In our way. Have a political party that's calling for basically, you know, overturning our democracy and like, you know, it should be. This is where we would have, you know, U n sanction intervention and I got so much heat from the sort of conservative side so again. It's just this sort of. It's interesting when they call for help right when all of a sudden they need foreign foreign assistance, But again, it just goes, speaks to the hypocrisy and the kind of a lack As a cohesive political ideology on the on their sides. I mean, Karen, look, you're making such great points. I want to stay with you here for a second to just ask kind of what are you hearing from your contacts around the world around former President Trump's continued role in domestic politics. I mean, this isn't something that we traditionally see from, you know, the former president right? Are there parallels to be drawn with other leaders and countries who Kind of continue to play outside roles in their parties after their voted out of office. I mean, he seems to still have power, even though he is not in power anymore. It's so interesting as that of my family is from Ghana, actually, and I think a lot about another late former president Jerry John Rawlings in Ghana, who was his seed, she actually you know, was a military leader and formed one of the Democratic Party's but also had very violent authoritarian tendencies, depending on who you ask. Even after he left power, and I lived in Ghana for for some time, he's still any comments he made about anything would still get outsized play in the newspapers. He was again out of politics. But still every no politician in his party in the NBC seemed to be able to escape. His shadow. But I kept thinking about our example with Trump and and how I think a lot of people around the world are looking at us, and they're like, Yeah..

"Slow the spread flattened that You believe that, you sucker It was all a big lie. I'm Michael knows this. The Michael no show. E feel like this has been a very Jen Psaki heavy week. I think that's because Joe Biden, unlike Donald Trump is not really talking to the press. Remember, Trump would have these impromptu press conferences. He'd be walking to his motorcade. He'd be walking to Helicopter and you just stand there and just start chatting with the press. Joe Biden is not doing that because Joe Biden can't do that. And so he sends poor Jen Psaki out to have to answer these questions and push his administration's policies. Now. A lot of the time, as we've mentioned on this show sake seems unprepared. She just doesn't have answers for the things that she should have answers for. That's why she's got to circle back. But sometimes her poor performance is not because she doesn't know what she's doing. It's because she can't give the real answer. Because if she gives the real answer, it will not be particularly palatable to the American people. Good example of this is on the C. D. C. The CDC has said, reopen the schools, right? Jen. Psaki is asked a question by the press. She gets one real press question today. All the rest are how come Joe Biden is so handsome and beautiful, but she gets one or two real real press questions. One of which is Hey, the CDC says. We can reopen. Why aren't we reopening the schools? Here is her non answer. I saw the comments of Dr Wolinsky. But I will say that even she would say if she were standing here. Welcome to come any time. But she's in Atlanta that they have not released their official guidance yet from the CDC, on the vaccination of teachers and what would be needed to ensure the safe re opening of schools, and so it's certainly deferred to that which we hope to see soon. The president himself has talked about the importance and the priority of vaccinating teachers and in most states there in the one B category of vaccination, and but it is up to states to determine prioritization. Obviously, there's federal guidelines, but and we work closely with governors, but we leave it to them, but certainly ensuring Teachers are vaccinated. Prioritizing teacher's eyes is important to the president. Okay? I don't know if you followed all that gobbledygook. There was meandering in all over the place. But the gist of it, Woz And remember Joe Biden's administration. They're going to follow the science. They're going to put science. First lot of executive orders to this effect. The gist of that was we need to vaccinate teachers. And the state's They're going to run things, but the federal government has a role and we need to vaccinate teachers that is very important for when we reopen. And since Joe Biden's administration is following the science that's got to be what the science says Right is the CDC. They haven't issued any sort of guidance yet. Do you think that's right, CDC director. I want to be very clear about schools, which is yes, A sip has put teachers in the one B category, the category of essential workers. But I also want to be clear that there is increasing data to suggest that schools can safely re open and that that's a free opening does not suggest that teachers need to be vaccinated in order to reopen safely. The teachers do not need to be vaccinated to reopen safely. The schools can reopen. That's what the data show and Joe Biden, who says the data and science are going to guide his administration would appear to be denying the science here and pour Jen Psaki has got to go out there and Sputter in front of the press because she knows she's in this type position. If backed themselves into a corner where they say we're gonna let the technocrats in the lab coats run our entire government, the press says. Okay. The lab coats say that you get to reopen the schools, but Joe Biden is beholden to the teacher unions. A teacher unions. The union's generally are important to Biden. Andre Trump did a lot to chip away at Democrats Union support. But surely the teacher unions are very important one. So Joe Biden forgetting forgetting about the science for a moment prioritizing the political demands of these teacher unions. This would not be an example in Jen Psaki being bad in her job. That's actually example for being good at her job, but it shows the tough position that the Biden administration Has put her in, speaking of lies and they compliant press. They have done themselves. They have absolutely the press and big technology and the Democratic establishment have outdone themselves. Unlike eyes in the past day, and actually, the Daily wire has played a role in this S actually I guess this show sort of played a role in this because we we talked about yesterday How, after AOC recalls the harrowing experience of how she was almost murdered during the capital riot and how crews was going to murder her and she was chief. It was having PTSD and trauma. Turns out she wasn't even in the Capitol building. During the riot. Just a complete stone cold sociopath. Liar didn't happen at all..

"And for myself, and what I've been telling people is The number one thing is, we have to start talking about the United States after Donald Trump the United States government In the United States Congress that's thinking about things other than Donald Trump. And you know when elected government that follows the Constitution and goes forward, not backward on And so for that. I'm glad that the president elect has said, Hey, here's my wish List. I think wish list is a reasonable And if reasonable, Joe Biden negotiates with, you know, reasonable Republicans in both houses of Congress. I'm hopeful we get something reasonable. This at this point is It's certainly not what you call reasonable starting with $1.9 Trillion, which I have to remind people is more than the entire income in some continents in the entire year. Uh and we got to get something that's gonna actually stimulate the economy, which means people getting a private sector job people buying things from private sector companies. People sustaining employment in a non government job. And is a $1400 statement from the federal government making it rain no matter whether or not you had any economic damages. Well, is that stimulative in a positive sense? Or what we've learned, Ms have suggested. Is this just going to lead to more inflation? I heard yellow flags being raised over that. Yeah. I mean, the history here and Obama did this Bush did this Andre Trump did it too. And we have some. We have some evidence from that. It looks like somewhere between 40 and 80% of the Previous stimulus checks have essentially gone from one bank account to another. Yeah, it's not enough money. If you're really out of a job, it's not enough money to make ends meet for very long. And if you've maintained your job, Aziz economists like like our companies set pointed out. There's a substantial number of people who've maintained all their jobs and all their income, and there's a substantial number of people that have been utterly You know, wiped out by this But if you're in the favorite group, $1500 probably goes in your bank account on and That's unfortunately what happens with a lot of the so called stimulus checks. Yeah, It just seems so unfocused Patrick, and you're right. We have seen certainly restaurant owner's restaurant workers had their savings wiped out here, waiting for a reprieve from the state government. There's really nothing here in here that will address their needs and you're.

I'm not gonna let that was actually pretty fun joke. Having all the trumps together getting their own news segment together, You know, it's really funny, Chris. Alec Baldwin, right. Alec Baldwin is the guy who plays Trump on Saturday night Live right? Donald's wife, his name Malanje. Baldwin's wife changed her name from Hillary to Helena. It's just kind of all works, you know on this is what they have to cover. If Trump leaves. The big story is Alec Baldwin's wife. I'd even know existed. That's what they're covering without Trump See what a world without Trump would be like. I don't care what they say. I won't stay in a world without trump. Seriously. God, Chris Rethinking. I was going to say no, You're absolutely right. A world without trump. That would definitely be. Ah, I was going to say I'm not going to lie that be a little bit of a quiet world boring. Oh, yeah, a little bit boring. I'd say so. So politics aside as you mentioned before myself personally, you know, I I wasn't really much of a fan of the guy. I didn't vote for him, however. Looking at the last four years for you know, all the attention he brought to him using Twitter. You know the different accounts. I'm not going to lie. It was definitely an eye. Turner definitely had people looking Tiuna looking to the news broke into the social media seeing what's going to be coming up. Next. We have someone you know we have Donald Trump going on. Online. What's going to be the next thing that he posts online? And you know, even though as I mentioned before, I didn't vote for him. It was one of those things that definitely brought attention to my day. Oh, yes. Oh, myself. I don't believe I would subscribe to a channel if he had, However, if he did I honestly think he would bring in the viewers. I honestly think he would bring in the attention I have. Ah, have ah little bit of Ah attention putting into like Twitter, for example. That this is the country. The Senate's they own. You know, it's privately owned. So if you privately owned the company if the privately owned company then you get to control what goes on your airwaves, just like here. You know, just like anywhere. So the idea but which would backfire, right? The idea which would backfire on them would be if he goes and sets up his own network. Now that on Lee, do they not make the money do they not benefit from having him and the money that he could generate? Now you see what happens, He leaves Twitter. The stock drops like a rock. "But that's a good. The bad and the ugly for is share your thoughts on those youtube comments or on twitter. Let's get to some listener comments from the twitter's and the youtube I'm thinking i want to. I don't know maybe alternate these are all just share the comments and we can react to over casanova complicated. I don't eat overcomplicated. So first of all people were. We are already shared your thoughts. People were really anxious to hear your thoughts on the new lineup change. i mean if you want you want a fiery topic for me. Why in the heck did it take so long. Well you know we are talking about. How rick carlisle. He's he likes to get like all. The data has to be one thousand percent conclusive that he the only when it's going against how he feels like he loves to wipe powell. He was going to give him every waking inch. If that was willie collies time to start the season and they started. Oh in two or whatever. Yeah he would've been benched the next game but think i'd have to agree with. Yeah so to me. Why in the world did it takes a long. It was completely obvious what was going on and now third three and this you sacrifice defense. You sacrificed wins to show favoritism. Because that's what he does and that's what he does with powell and that's the fiery side that was holding back. Okay okay next. This is from at luke. Six eight to four this. I got a little confused so just hear me out. We trade powell brunson and one to two picks for drummond. Then no not drummond. Now you don't want andre now. I love remind people. Want andre trump. I think german is a really great rebounders but what you can't play poisoning you set before. Morzine is not mobile enough to play the four. I can't have too big. He would play the ford. The five on defense is a drum is gonna play the four on defense. You're going to have him running around the four. It's exactly so you you can't as much as as the mavs needed beef defense and rebounding. You just can't do two bigs like that if it were anthony davis. Yeah then you can play him at the four and half german back there but porzingus just isn't mobile enough to guard a kevin. Durant an anthony davis. Yeah you right okay luke. We heard great point. And i think a lot of i think a lot of people like drummond. I just don't think the mavericks are ever going to go back to bigs. Okay this is from one. Casteran say at one tonne soup. All that's creative. I like that okay Because he spilled it j you a quick. I liked the idea of not having permanent starting lineups. Today's game is about stylistic shapes and having deep benches and rick is a master at fully utilizing players. So do you think they'll have a permanent starting lineup whence kp comes back. I mean i personally. I hope so i mean i. I don't like the idea personally. Because you wanna have and again you know to these commenters and a dude got an analyst. I'm just a mass fan. Like you. And i i still work everyday day.
