"Sharpe about? We'll tell you next. And Evans with what's trending. Right now. John morant will not be charged with any criminal charges from Glendale police after having the firearm in the nightclub the other night after the nuggets beat the grizz, the comment from the police department quote, there was not enough available evidence to charge anyone with a crime. Now this does not mean at all that John Moran is out of the out of the Woods at all. He is still facing what could be upwards of a 50 game suspension from the NBA, if he did indeed bring this gun onto the team plane. And if that's the case, he could be looking at a 50 game suspension, also Shaquille O'Neal trying to give John morant some mentor advice. I'm not going to jump on a kid. He know what we did was wrong, but remember, he put himself in the position. You don't have to go live. You got to pick your phone up, swipe to find Instagram, get on Instagram, swipe again, hit the live button, wait for it to connect. Are you sure you want to go live? You got to have enough conversation to know that I wasn't going to go the way you wanted it to go. You're not a rapper. You're an NBA player. I think that John Moran is going to learn his lesson. Grow up. 'cause this is a great game. You gotta be careful. These are the kind of mistakes that you're going down a road where you can just absolutely sabotage your career. Let me ask you this. Sabotage of a God given talent and blow it all. What do you do if you're Michael silver? Not only John Moran, but what do you do to the Memphis grizzly? Oh. How come you look at me? Did I say the wrong name? Yes. Let's add Adam silver. Yeah, what did I say? Michael silver. So if it's Adam silver, because theoretically, I know you're on a chartered plane, but you're going, there's a security process that goes through and you're not allowed to bring a weapon, you have a house stringent is it. Well, that's what I'm saying. Yeah. If the Memphis Grizzlies are just letting guys slide by and you're not, well, I'm not just saying the grizzlies are letting you flown team planes your entire life. Is there any security that you go through? Well, mine was before all the security stuff happened. But when should I start flying private? When my son was playing the big leagues, man, like you'd leave a road stadium, you'd go through, they'd have security, they'd have it all set up so you had to have everything looked at your bags before they loaded them on the bus and then they drove from tarmac and they jumped on their tigers Detroit Tiger plane, but you had to go through all that stuff. So, you basically, I'm like, not only should John morant be looked at very stringently, but so should the Memphis Grizzlies. Shannon Sharpe was having a fireside conversation, literally. It was by a fireside. With Andre Iguodala, a name that's kind of mud with nugget fans because when Iguodala was with the nuggets in a playoff series against Golden State, he was accused of giving away the game plan to then warriors coach Mark Jackson. And as it would all explain explained it, the scouting report, the game plan for the nuggets was to rough up Klay Thompson and Steph Curry, and at one point during a game during an inbound play, Mark Jackson walked up to Andre Iguodala and said, what are you doing? What are you guys doing? And all Iguodala said, well, I don't like to play the game that way. And as he said in the interview, he said, you know, I just want to be, I don't want to resort to that kind of stuff. It's about, are you better than me or my better than you? So anyway, he called out George Carl for not having the proper adjustments and for making him look bad in the eyes of nugget fans. George didn't have an adjustment for them boys and them boys beers. Right. And typical George, George won't run with a narrative that he gonna run away from what it was. Right. You just got out coach. Right, you didn't make any adjustments. So look, for some notes and he's done it throughout his career, he wrote a book, and he had some things about young African American men and his reason for why they aren't as successful under him is because they didn't have fathers. He said some things about some African American players that have didn't take too kindly of and we haven't seen George in a while and he's just looking for attention, so you'll see him on Twitter every other week, just looking for some controversy and just looking, you know, to bring his stature back up. George responded on Twitter by saying there are two sides every story. And Shannon, let's talk. Obviously, without does not like George Carr. Man. But when you hear Iguodala's response, okay? So his response was, hey, look, all that was said during the game. And he goes, I even kind of confronted Marc Jackson about like, why did you throw me under the bus? Because after the game, but it would all thought was just kind of a throwaway comment. Yeah, you know, I don't like to play that way. After the game, Jackson comes out, yeah, one of their players told me that, you know, this is the way they're playing and even they don't like it. So is Iguodala unnecessarily being labeled a villain here, or was he labeled a villain? Well, I would tell you, I would tell you. It's not your fancy. You'd bring up Andre Iguodala's name to this day and people are like, that guy. I will tell you from an adjustment standpoint. If that's your adjustment, we want to play real physical with these guys, and we want to slow them down. We want to do that. That's your coaching adjustment. And your team doesn't want to execute that. Is that a coach issue? Is that a player issue? Because there have been plenty of games where a lot of played in games where we're like, hey, man, this team is more talented than us. So let's physically wear their butts out and take you that advantage away from them. That's that to me is good coaching. Like if you're really assessing your team versus another team, there's no question the Chicago Bulls, Jordan rolls are more athletic than the Denver. I was going by the old

"To unbridled capitalist ambitions as these companies race to market. Tim, we're talking mushrooms. Yeah, we talking mushrooms again. They're all over the place. First up this hour, one company that's managed to defy tough conditions. Last week, Johns Hopkins joined andreessen Horowitz, Kaiser permanente, NBA star Andre Iguodala, and others in an $80 million series B funding round for incredible health, pushing that company into unicorn status. The platform connects hospitals with nurses and other healthcare workers. Carol Ann Bloomberg news senior markets reporter, Katie greifeld, spoke with cofounder and CEO, doctor Iman abused, about the new cash infusion. So it means that we're now the highest the highest values that enables career marketplace for healthcare workers in the U.S. today are evaluation about 1.65 billion. And for the first time, we've had our customers health systems, including Kaiser permanente and John Hawkins, invest in our round two, which really positions us as the leaders in healthcare hiring. So maybe an obvious question, but this latest round $80 million, what will you be using the money on? When you think the money in three key areas first is an R&B, so investing in the hiring workflow and automating it with machine learning technology. And that includes automating the screening, automating the matching, just so it's increasingly more personalized and more automated for both the healthcare workers and the employers. We're also going to be investing in career resources for nurses. And so they're using us over the course of their entire careers. That includes still growth scheduling services, educational scholarships, cost training, all of which is completely free of charge for nurses. And so we are the place where they manage their careers. And then frankly, just expansion, expansion beyond nurses, and beyond hospitals, because right now we're serving those two markets primarily and have had ambitions to support the rest of the healthcare workers and healthcare employers too. "Now I feel like you know what it feels like, and that's when I started to buy in when I had all the stats. That were telling me when I got a proper amount of sleep versus the stats. When I didn't get the proper amount of sleep, now I'm really excited about getting to bed on time and when I'm in that bed by ten 30 and I'm about to put the lights out and I'm already ready to go to sleep. Thinking to myself tomorrow I'm going to crush it. So it's all about how you look at it and how you have the right perspective and trying to take care of yourself. No doubt, before let you go a couple of quick questions here. We talked about your rehab, how close to the end of that rehab are you? When are we going to see you back out on the court in uniform? Yeah, hopefully at the end of it. But as you know, the older you get the longer it takes to get back to yourself. So I feel like we're getting better and better by day. It's taking me longer than I would like, but you know, as part of the process, and you've got good days, you have bad days, you know, we always joke in NBA, players would no longer sitting out because sitting out is not fun. It's not a break. It's actually more work. So there's a lot of hours being put into this rehab and. The scary part is, you know, we tell ourselves we rather play hurt than rehab. So I'm trying to be patient because I've come back too fast once or twice this year. And I'll be back out there somewhere. We're going to see you before the end of the regular season. That's the plan. And on that note, as you and I record, this is going to post later than this, but as you and I record this stuff just went out with that foot injury. Steph clay and draymond got exactly one game together so far and we don't know when stuff will be back now. What's your concern slash confidence level with this team going to the postseason in a few weeks knowing that your big three really haven't had that much time on the court together this season? Well, I think as long as we're on the court, I'm confident. So, you know, just praying for the best with the recovery and hope when we get opportunity to really go at it full throttle, because our finals, all our final start, last year, a lot of our finals except, I think, 17 with the exception of 17 and 18, I think, too, you know, you had some weird injury strong in there. So hopefully we can get full squad and give it a shot. Well, there's one thing we know, it's that you guys have pretty much seen it all and done it all by now, so probably there's no one thing the NBA season can throw at you guys that would be daunting and hopefully we see a fully healthy warrior squad when you guys hit the postseason. The film again is the quest for sleep folks you can find that at quest for sleep dot com and you can watch the film there. It's also in select theaters, Andre Iguodala, part of that..

"Now very pleased to welcome an 18 year and that part is relevant to this conversation. 18 year NBA veteran Andre Iguodala Andre, how are you, sir? Oh, we're live. We're live to take. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding, I'm kidding. It's an Evan Turner who I'm doing a podcast with .4 is one of his famous moments in sports history where he cursed while he was doing the media for Philly and he got in big trouble. He cursed twice and then he decided to say, oh, we're live. And it was like, what did you think this was? So he didn't get enough sleep that night. So his brain wasn't working properly. There we go. Way to bring us in with the topical anecdote there. I hope I haven't got fined for that. Did he get fined? That's a great question. I don't think so. I think it was a game that honest mistake response and he was okay. He survived. All right, well, on this podcast, you can curse all you want, Andre. We don't bleep anything. So it's all good. I mentioned 18 year vet at the start because I know that the only way that somebody makes it this long into an NBA career is you have is just incredible attention to detail to health to nutrition to training to everything, which obviously includes sleep. So the quest for sleep is the documentary, you are among the featured people in this, how did you come to this? What drew you to it? And what are the own your own sleep challenges that you've had in your career that made this of interest to you? Well, I have been doing a lot of things in this space. I had tracked my sleep a few times. It's been in a few books. We did a few fireside chats on it. And. It's just been in my ecosystem. It's become a product of what they call it, the brand. And you know, law of attraction, but connecting with folks who have similar interests and saw this pretty cool Doc and got involved in it and it felt very organic and I'm big on organic natural ways of feeling. And it just worked out, you know, part of, you know, always say, once you've mastered something, it's your job to go back and teach it, you know, one of my duties, you know, teach these kids how to have longevity, careers are shortening up, you know, pushing them in and out and just getting their minds and their bodies right. Do teams actually talk about this at all Audrey because when you came into the league 18 years ago, there was not nearly the attention to nutrition and sleep schedules and everything that there is now our teams today are the warriors and other teams actually addressing this with guys because you talk about telling the young guys, but I wonder how much they're also just being guided on this and the importance of sleep for recovery and everything else.

"Get a head start on that chemistry and that blending for next season. But yeah, listen, again, without knowing anything about his medical records myself not being a doctor, I still, I lean toward like I hope they don't push him back out there too soon. I want to see him healthy and training camp next year and see what this team can do then. Before I let you go, pop recently gets the record passes Don Nelson for most wins and NBA history. It's a milestone. He's had many others that I think are probably more significant anyway. But still, it's a milestone, and I got you here. So give me your best family friendly, Greg Popovich story. Okay, well, it's not a story. I think it's a description of who pop is. And it's funny because now as I sit here as an analyst, I can ask all the time if I want to coach. And if I ever blessed to be a NBA head coach, I learned so much from Greg Popovich. I would take into that roller position. One of the things that I really understood at that time. At the time, you don't really practice the content. Because remember Howard, this isn't the great Popovich in 2022. Yeah. This is the Popovich in 1999. He was just getting started. He had won a championship yet. You know, we had a meeting on a bus in Houston, midway through the season because we got up to a rough start. And we felt at that time, a team of players only meeting, if we didn't win that game, papa's probably going to be fired. Think about how that would have changed, of course, the history, NBA history, not versus One of the things I learned from red Popovich is something that I even applied to my children today at three children. And Jada, who's 16, Jordan's 11 to have Antonio who's three. You can love them all the same, but you love them different. Because what you say to one of your children will motivate them, what you say to that same child, to another child, will break them. And pop took the time to know each one of his players. Internally. So what he would say to Avery, he wouldn't say to me. Whether he was saying to me would say to him what he would say to tell me he wouldn't say today, what he would say to David would say to Mario..

"You know the thing is you want to make sure it's healthy. So this can be something that's ongoing year after year after year after year. Not just be concerned with this year in 2022. So will a green may see that big picture and understand that. David Griffin may see that bigger picture and understand that ownership might even see it. Sometimes the player themselves do not do it when they're younger. Never do. No, that's why you hear all the time, Howard. You have to keep players from themselves. You know, and you can look back throughout the course of history and point that different guys, and if you set those guys down now and say, if you could do it again, would you? And they will tell you 100% hell yes, I would. I would do it different. What I would do is I would listen to my training staff. I would listen to my medical staff because maybe if I did or if I had, I may still be playing today. You know, and then Zion's case, I understand. He's 21 years old. He wants to get back on that floor. And for me, I love this kid. I have an I have a deep love for this young man. Because I think what people lose sight of with Zion is the fact that he's 21 years old. I said all the time. We think about it. When these guys are drafted, right? When they're one and done in their drafted, they are two years removed from prom. Right? There are two years removed from where it tuxedos and limos are going to problem and now basically what we're telling them now we want you to be the face of a million $1 billion franchise. And then we get upset with guys don't know how to handle it. Did you know everything at 21? I didn't. I didn't..

"The last coach, literally the last coach. And when we walked out and we walked in the next morning, that guy that was once the last coach was now the head coach, because coach Eddie Jordan fired. You know what I mean? So how quickly things would change. So now the relationship that you had with that guy at that time, now it's a little bit different when he's in that hip position. So how you treat people in the relationships hit that's the best thing about my job now. Best thing about this job now is the relationships I've been able to develop along the way. No doubt, and I would agree from my own perspective as a media person covering this league for the last 25 years. Former players who have become coaches and broadcasters, you know, guys who have worked their way up through benches and front offices, all that. It's amazing. It's one of the fun parts about the league. Let me actually ask you this real quick before we get into basketball stuff because, you know, you won't remember this, but I do from my end of it. So I'm a Laker beat writer in the late 90s, early 2000s. So I covered you guys smoked the Lakers a couple of times there along the way. And during a playoff series for people who don't know how this works, for the beat writers, that's the time when you really like talk to the other team a lot, right? Shaq and Kobe years I'm immersed. It's all Lakers all the time. I'm barely ever going in the other locker room. I'm barely talking to the opponent, but in a playoff series, you guys, both teams are on the court every day and we get a lot of both teams. That's when I was in some scrums where Antonio Daniels is talking. I'm like, oh man, this guy's great. At the time, like this guy's a great interview, great insights. And you had a bunch on that team, right? Like Malik rose, was that way later Steve Kerr, Sean Elliott, who of course. Avery Johnson? Talk for days. And I covered Avery wood during his next tenure here when he was coaching here. So, but one of the things I've noticed over my time, Antonio, is that being a great interview, being great with the media on a day to today basis talking about the rhythms of a season doesn't always translate to being a great broadcaster and I've seen a number of guys over the years fail to make that transition who I thought great interview. Oh my God, he's terrible on TV. It feels.

"Daniels AD, how are you, sir? Howard, I'm good, brother. Honored to be here with you, man. Great to see you. I mentioned the championship back in 99. I'm going to circle back to that in a second. I should note we are also like, we're like kind of pseudo coworkers because you host on serious XMM MBA radio, multiple times a week. I pop in and do a shift here and there every so often, including occasionally with your partner, Rick Kamala. So we're like, we're practically coworkers, I guess, as well. Yeah, we kind of like brothers. Let's just put it that way. Because like brothers, it's broadcasting cousins or something. I'll take it. Before we jump in, I got a bunch of stuff I want to throw at you, of course, a lot of pelican stuff and certainly some Zion stuff because the man knows how to go viral. And he's done it a couple of times this week. Before I get to do that, there was a photo that made the rounds on Twitter earlier this week. You in your spurs uniform, talking to, I believe, Hank Egan coach. There's a very young Mike budenholzer off to one side of that photo, and then in the background, your current broadcast partner on the pelicans broadcast Joe Myers in the background, calling the game. I said it on Twitter. Neither of you have aged since then, I don't know how that's possible. But it's just a wild little literal snapshot in time. You guys future broadcast partners him calling a spurs game back then. Joel and I, of course, got to be friends during his Laker broadcasting days. Where did that photo come from? Was that, in fact, the championship season? What do you know about that moment? I don't know. I'll be honest with you. I don't know what season it was. Somebody sent it to me via Twitter. So obviously I retweeted it because I think it's amazing how things have come full circle. Yeah. You know, my years in San Antonio for Latinos years. Joel called those capes. And to think about how crazy that is. We're talking over 20 years ago. And now it's just, you know, I'm a firm believer that the lord has a plan. And now 20 years later, here we sit in 2022. My third season here, being the color N is for New Orleans pelicans. And my broadcast partners, Joe Myers. The same guy that was calling my games all the way back in San Antonio..

"I want to open up today's show with an email from a listener named Darren. Who has something to say about the Golden State Warriors, Darren writes, hello guys. Like most people I haven't paid too much attention to the warriors recent struggles figuring that there isn't much to see because if draymond returns healthy, they will be fine. And if he doesn't, they won't. I cut their last few games and it has me questioning if we are glossing over flaws that we know have sunk good regular season teams in the playoffs. Number one, do they have too many weak perimeter defenders? Seeing Luca hunt staff repeatedly wasn't new and would dream on is there, they have proven they can mitigate that, seeing LeBron and even Westbrook repeatedly hunting and torching clay was an eye opener. It shouldn't be unexpected after the injury as he has had, but it is a big problem. The warriors now have to cover for two. Maybe even three guys you can hunt if they are closing with Steph clay and Jordan Poole. That is all a tall task even with a healthy draymond. Number two, they play so many bad free throw shooters who can be exploited with the hacker strategy in key spots, loony, draymond, GTA, comming, and GP two are all bad free throw shooters, and most concerning Andrew Wiggins is only at 63%. I feel like if another playoff contender has these issues issues, we'd pay more attention to it than we are with them. Thank you so much, Darren. That was a wonderful email. I'm just going to say before I throw it to you, Rohan. I am not concerned about the Golden State Warriors, and I still fall into the whim, draymond is healthy. Then they'll be good. And when Andre Iguodala is in the rotation, there'll be a little bit better. And if neither of those guys or most importantly, draymond is not 100%, then it won't matter. And it'll be irrelevant. So I hear the concerns here about weak perimeter defenders. I'm not that low on clay, frankly. The version of clay that we see, we saw over the weekend, I don't think it's going to be the version that we see in the playoffs. And I'm also just not. Steph Curry, I don't think is someone that really gets hunted, hunted. If you get into a matchup with Luca, then you kind of figure that out. And I think the Golden State Warriors are smart enough defensively to figure that out as best as any team can figure out Luka Dončić. But I don't see Steph Curry as a glaring defensive weakness and also the free throw shooting is like whatever to me. Maybe that's just me being blind to it as an actual issue and it could nip them in the butt at some point, but I'm not that concerned. What do you think about this? Well, I do think there's a few things here. One, I think draymond has become as close to being as important as Steph to the team, as you can be by not being Steph Curry. I mean, he's just so much of a driver of what they do on both ends of the floor, just as a playmaker, getting over into the right position, offensively, making the right pass, et cetera. Obviously what he does defensively the way he cover ups covers up for holes, et cetera. I'm with you on Steph defensively..

"Got a lot to talk about today. The Lakers coming off a win against the Golden State Warriors. So we get to actually talk about some positive things for a change. We've got a few other topics to get into that might get a little negative to some stuff about Russell Westbrook that we need to talk about as well. Joining me today might go buddy ESPN's Alan sliwa, Alan. Thanks so much for coming on. Trev, what is going on, man? Long time no talk. Appreciate you having me on looking forward to chat some Lakers off of wind. Are we supposed to win? I forgot doing postgame shows where there's wins. I was so surprised. I did our Lakers nation postgame show and I was like, I don't even know how to approach I'm used to just most of our postgame shows have become like group therapy sessions where we're bemoaning the Lakers laws and we're talking about how we're managing it and all that kind of stuff. And they won and we got to celebrate a victory, which was great. But I'll tell you what. Before we even get into Lakers warriors, something was sent to me, I think it was either yesterday or day before, that was kind of funny. They blamed the Lakers season on the two of us. And me and said the reason why the Lakers season has not gone according to plan, it's because you and I still have not played one on one basketball. I agree with them. I agree with them. You know, I think if there's one thing that this team needs, it needs you and I way past our prime to try to play some basketball and probably get if we're going up to 11, I think by the time the score is three three, I need a timeout, a breather. I might have to finish the game the next day. It's not good, Trevor. If we're ever gonna do it, we're gonna have to do it too, because I'm starting to feel it. I'm definitely slowing down. What was probably what three or four years ago when we first started talking about this at this point, I had a little bit more spring in my step back then and I had to now, I am definitely on the downside of my career there. But in any event, the Lakers, they beat the warriors, LeBron James, 37 years old, goes for 56 points, maybe it's a one off. Maybe it's just a one night thing, but didn't that just feel nice to get to talk about a Lakers win and not not be down in the dumps about the Lakers losing again? Trev, not only did it feel good, I could tell you the place was rocking. You know, it's a for a season that you've had really the emotions of only been one side. You know, there's a lot of news what was it last week when they got blown out by the pelicans about the crowd booing at the players and booing at the Lakers team. You had the loss at crypto dot com read against the clippers where Reggie Jackson is kind of kind of show bolt on the entire time. That's how the season has gone. So when you say, doesn't it just feel good to get away? And it also feels good to be at the arena and the place feels like it feels like you thought it was going to feel like all season before the season started. So it is just one game. You're right. It only counts as one game, but I think for how bad the season has gone, you started off own force since the all star break. It was nice for a lot of Laker fans. The probably enjoy their Saturday night, enjoy their Sunday. And yes, there's another game coming up on Monday, but for a quick second there, you could kick back, you can just enjoy and appreciate a way that in the process, Braun dropping 50 plus. And I think that's part of it too, right? It's LeBron going from 56 points. So if you're there in the arena, it's not just, hey, the Lakers are beating one of the better teams in the Western Conference. It's that plus we're saying something special out of LeBron James and 37 years old. I just talked about how I feel like I'm already slowing down here. What are we expecting out of LeBron at this point? I mean, I don't think they're winning a championship this year. What is LeBron have left in the tank moving forward for the Lakers to build around? I mean, it feels like every year we're talking about is this the year that he finally starts to decline and then here he is. I've been saying all season if the Lakers were like the two seed right now, we'd be talking about MVP campaign. 37 years old drops 56 points. This is unreal. So I think I've kind of gone to this point of the conversation about while the bronze is going to slow down LeBron's going to slow down. You can only look stupid so many times before you start saying to yourself, you know what, maybe I should just stop saying that. Here's the reality, trev. You know, he's talked about this in postgame shows. He talked about how he takes care of his body. Yesterday was actually, it's a perfect example. Doing the pregame show of Michael Thompson. And Michael Thompson, we were talking about Andre Iguodala, godala was out there warming up. And Iguodala's played very sparingly all season long, and we were kind of like, well, are they just going to save him for the playoffs? And I said, yeah, they probably should. And Michael goes, well, they're not saving LeBron for the classical bronze plane every night. There's a year difference between Andre Iguodala and LeBron James. And just think about how idol at his age is being used compared to what LeBron James does on a night at night out basis. I don't know why for me, that's just stuck with me. It was like, yeah, Michael is right. Like, just think about that. Iguodala is being used a certain way. LeBron's dropping 40 minutes a game or 35 minutes or putting in 56 points like you mentioned. So I think it's wise to not question anymore, well, how long can LeBron do this? I think it's probably better to just kind of kick back, relax and enjoy what LBJ is doing. Unfortunately, for the Lakers, it has it. It hasn't stacked up in a lot of wins. But yesterday was, it was a very unique performance to drop 56, but he's been dropping almost 30 a game on average. It really is incredible. He's talked about how much he credits sleep and all of that, of course, all of that for his longevity here. But in terms of the scoring, the thing that I keep coming back to, and I mentioned this a few times in the last few weeks, is that LeBron is actually getting fouled or getting foul calls at a lower rate than he has historically gotten Val calls. And it's not just, oh my gosh, he's shooting more threes. He's actually attacking the basket more than just about anybody in the NBA last I looked and this was about a week or so ago. He was second in the NBA in shots at the rim and was not far behind and the number one was Yanis taco. So LeBron is still attacking the basket. He's just not getting a lot of calls there. And that's been a source of frustration for him. This season, but when you look at the stats, if you were to somehow give LeBron just his average free throw attempts that he's gotten over the course of his career, give him that this season, he's leading the NBA in scoring, or another way to look at it is if you just take out free throws, LeBron James is leading the NBA in scoring. He's 37 years old. This is unreal and the only reason why I continue on this topic is I want to make sure Lakers fans, we got to have to take a moment and appreciate what LeBron is doing right now because this is, this is not the norm for a guy who's 37 years old to be able to do the things that he's doing. So this is the best comp that I could give. And we just saw this, you know, obviously this past season. Tom Brady was doing things at his age that is just, you can't describe it, you can't explain it. And Tom Brady decided, you know, obviously to retire one day that's going to happen when LeBron James. And I know it's, you know, I think the wrong things always unique with Laker fans because I get this a lot and you do as well. Colby played 20 years in the league. Magic never rocked another Jersey. I think there's a lot of times Laker fans have this affinity for their guy or, hey, this is a guy that's been a Laker his entire career. Put all that to the side just for a second. He played for the Cavs many years, won them a championship. Did what he did in Miami and he's got a chip with a Los Angeles Lakers. Just what he's accomplishing going out there on the night at night off basis, just.

"Okay, so tell me some teams are a team that you feel like, hey, consensus was thinking this and I thought this and I'm right. So double middle fingers up to everybody and all my skeptics. I'm gonna get the Golden State Warriors. Now I'm not gonna present like I had them as the number one seed. But as you know, Mike, I was talking about the warriors when we were talking season preview ideas for Sports Illustrated. What do we want to do for our season preview? Should I talk about the warriors? I've been calling that, you know, a week or two ago I think I called him the most dangerous team in the west. I just, I have so much faith in Steph and Dre together that obviously last year they were playing team. They ended up not making the playoffs, but Steph was coming back from injury. They were trying to work and wise men and cursed at the beginning of the season. We're not really chasing wins. And it felt like they didn't really push like they should have pushed. This year, they still have the young guys on the roster where you look at who they're playing. It's bee Lisa, it's auto Porter. It's Andre Iguodala's been ignored has been incredible this season. He's been really good. He looks like he's found the fountain of youth there. I think Wiggins is playing very well in his role. I just think you surround Stephen Dre with capable vets and this is what you get. You get a really good team. Now I know you and Christopher let them on the pod last week. I think you guys did bring up some good points. A lot of home games, schedules been good to them. You know, there are reasons why maybe their success has been so great early in the season at the same time. They're far and away the best team in net rating in the NBA. They've been great on both sides of the ball. Yeah, I go with the worries. Again, I'm not gonna present like I thought they were gonna be this great, but I had a lot of faith and bringing in cable guys around Stephen Dre. And once they get clay back, I think the ceiling is title. I think they're right up there with any team in the league. The ceiling is definitely title. I would say for the warriors. I like how you called, what did you use the word amazing to describe Andre?.

"Like the reps would have yeah, 'cause there's no there's no attempt at a basketball play there. It's completely unnecessary contact. I would hope sometimes you see those moments where it escalates and then that causes them retroactively to go, oh yeah, okay, well, then he's going to. I do wonder what would happen there. But in any event, I think jokic at the very least is getting suspended. Marquise Morris maybe gets suspended as well. And then we'll see what happens from there for both sides. Let's jump over to hawks and warriors. You know, always kind of funny because Trey young in some ways is kind of seen as the second coming of Steph Curry or or at least that style of player. I don't know that you're ever going to find a shooter that's the quality of stuff curry, but still it was kind of a teacher versus student sort of battle here, right? With curry versus young and Corey was once again tremendous. The warriors pull out the win one 27 to one 13 playing some of the best basketball in the NBA right now. I mean, they're 9 and one. And accordingly, oddsmakers have now set Steph Curry as the favorite to win MVP this season, I'd still early, but that feels like a pretty accurate pick to me right now based on the way stuff is playing and the way the warriors are playing as well. Yeah, hard to argue at 50 points, ten assists, 7 reboots two points. 9, three. Last night, yeah, he absolutely won't bananas. Yeah, best team in the league right now, but best record. It was funny I was asked on a radio hit. What's different about the warriors this year versus the last couple of years? Because still Thompson is out. Well, two years ago, everything fell apart to this team. Clay was out KD had left. And we knew curry we knew they weren't going to be quite as good then curry got her very early in the season. Jeremy on green was in and out. But in some ways, I think what this has done is, this is now paying off a couple of years later because guys like Jordan Poole. Damien Lee. Damien Lee, those guys got experience playing for this team, then that they would not have gotten otherwise had this team been more healthy in the last couple of years. And that's now paying off because now they've got pretty good depth behind those mainline guys. I also think they're off season additions. Our guys that fit within what they do versus trying to bring a guy in and hoping that player can change his game to fit what they do, they want to go guys, who just already fit in. Clearly, Andre Iguodala, they knew work. They brought him back. But the monument elites auto Porter junior. Those guys just fit in what they do and then when you've got guys like Lee and toscano Anderson and pool, stepping up and playing well, they look pretty good. And we know James wiseman's return is coming around the corner here somewhere. That's probably going to be another ten, 15 minutes off the bench that hopefully will be helpful. Good minutes. And then clay Thompson is going to return at some point, probably around or shortly after the holidays. So I don't necessarily see barring a major injury..

"That's what I want to see. I do. I want to see all that talent on the floor. I was fortunate enough to be able to see The Warriors and the Cavs and so much unbelievable talent on the floor. There is nothing like it. Say what you want about the MBA doldrums of the regular season load management when you get to the finals. And you see for me it was LeBron Kyrie. You haven't loved Kevin Durant. Steph Curry, Draymond green, Clay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, When you see all those players on the same floor, sharing the floor and plane every possession As if it's the biggest possession. Player's life. You will You will certainly change your mind. On the MBA, but we don't get to see a lot of that A special the last two years Now Cove it had something to do with that. And you had a lot of the soft tissue injuries, invade the MBA and let's face it, load management guys just sitting, they have their money so that rubs people the wrong way. But it is amazing to see all that talent, so that's what I want to see in the NBA Finals. Um Unfortunately, I think it I think it would send a really bad message. For a lot of these teams in the future. About the regular season, the Lakers could and theoretically, they could end up with a 60 today if things go their way, and they beat the pelicans and Portland loses to Denver Big Games today in the final Night of the MBA season. But we could see the Lakers get a 16 or They could end up in the plane game and finished with an eight seed or even missing the playoffs entirely. I don't think that's gonna happen. I don't think anybody thinks that's gonna happen. But what does it say about seating? Meanwhile, the Brooklyn that's what they played eight games all year with their big three of Harden, Irving and Kevin Durant. But Howard back disagree, said this is kind of an anomaly year. We'll see. I think the NBA has a big issue going forward with needing to have their superstars not only available, but Play. I heard Kobe Bryant's wife, the late Kobe Bryant's wife yesterday, Vanessa She said at the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame that the difference when it came to Kobe is he didn't sit He had nagging injuries the whole second half of his career, and he did not sit. He played. No, it was a different era, even though it wasn't that long ago. But There was no load management for Kobe Bryant. He was going to play no matter what, And I think that speaks to his greatness and his impact on the NBA game. And it's why so many people looked up to him. And why yesterday was a celebrated day as he went in, along with Tim Duncan. And Kevin Durant. But that's not all there were honored yesterday. At that event. As I watched a lot of it. You add Rudy Tomjanovich, Tameka Catchings. Congratulations to them Also. Going in under the Curt Gowdy media ward. Mike Breen, who's now done 15 straight NBA finals. You know, they say You never want to be the guy to follow the guy. And he followed Marv Albert now. I always have a special place in my heart for Marv Albert. Somebody who spent a lot of time in Syracuse. So went to Syracuse. You could understand why I love Marv. But Marv was The soundtrack off the embassy when I was in my youth meant so much So congratulations to Mike Brain who is definitely been a great replacement for Marv Albert. By the way. Shut up tomorrow. He's retiring at the end of the year, according to reports the age of 80, and he's been doing it for like 60 years. Incredible. Michael Wilbon went in yesterday. As well. All that great work of the Washington Post and of course, Petey I, which a lot of the younger fans know of him. And you look at all these great names that have gone in under the Curt Gowdy Media Award. The likes of Doris Burke, Craig Sager. J. Billa's Joe Tate, Cleveland announcer. Play by play announcer for a long time. Bill Raftery, Billy Packer. Marv is in there. Bob Costas, Hubie Brown Dick Vie. Tell Jim Nance Dick Stockton, It is a Who's Who Sam Smith. For the print award. Jackie MacMullan, Peter Vessey. The name's just keep getting better. Better. Jack McCollum. Just incredible names. Marc Stein, John Feinstein. David Aldridge. I could go on. Jim Jim Gray. One of these things is not like the other. I feel bad. I ambushed Howard back moments ago on Jim Gray. Look, Jim Gray's been, you know, I guess a great broadcaster he's been around. He's done it all. But I'm sorry. Can't put the guy in When He was involved in one of the worst moments. In NBA history. He really was. What? You gonna put everybody involved in the malice in the palace in there, too? Gonna put? Ah, Kermit Washington and there. I mean, the list could go on. We gonna put all All the worst, the worst events people associated with the worst event. Even Miami fans have to admit that the decision was ill advised. LeBron James admitted it Maverick Carter Rich Paul. They've all admitted it. After the fact. One of the dark days in NBA history. And yes, I'm biased because I'm from Cleveland. But ask some other people around the league. It wasn't good. David Stern did not think it was good. People advising, LeBron said. Bad idea jeans. Anderson is just turning into the guy the sort of the poster boy of this team you know, just this lovable guy came out of Oakland and Surprising the odds, etcetera, and he stopped by with Fitz and Kalinda, and he just can't believe how good dream on and Steph are playing right now. I'm a beneficiary of you know these guys their Hall of Fame. My cute, You know, Dre. Mina's has 16 assist today. That's amazing. You know, from our starting center last five games, he's in double digit assists, so I know man. Just get Steph Open. Either step is open arm of the opening, so I'm aware of that. The defense thing on leave him, So I just find those gaps and get those easy buckets. Not no jury. Monty's everything. Sometimes he sees a little toothpick before any of us here, but I mean, it is great to play with a guy like that. Yeah, it is. It's funny. I was reading the dream. I was yelling at the team and garbage time last night, when my last images for I went to bed and I was thinking about that. Did you read that thing about on who was it was a bogus who did the thing on Andre Iguodala and how he Had no tolerance for low I Q players. You guys read that? Yeah, that was, I think was on bogus Podcast. Yeah, he went on, he said Andrea and he said it would be a meaningless game. They would be blowing somebody out and some 11th and 12th guy would be playing. And Andre was laser focused on everything they did, and if they made stupid plays Andre wanted about. Yeah, can't have dumb players on this team probably put the players will probably figure out who it was. Yeah, I figure it out on the team, hypothetically, Berry and guys here, McCall says he's asking what we call Jordan Bell, too. All right. Well, what do I need to say? What needs to be said here? I mean, with the exception of those minutes in Game seven against O K C might have been fair job very shy, was out there looking off jumping Just goes to show you. Hey, beast. I'll tell you what Very y'all took that charging that. Okay. See gamer. If you and I both on our feet that play, he lit that place up there for two minutes. Maybe the whole season worthwhile. And now my heart is heavy because I was actually thinking about him this weekend, Bobby Bobby Carter. You know he was with for life, man, Bobby. See, bro. I don't ever forget. Hated hate that. No. Just inexplicable stuff is happening between Pedro Gomez and Bobby Carter. This That's another reason 2020 Bobby's case. I mean, just he was with any sense. He was with us that night, you know, so I have. So I still have a lot of picked by the way if you need any. I'm not kidding. I still have pictures from that night of all of us. The kids, Bobby Air, everybody It's certainly at some point, he carved out some time in the back of the sweets and tell me about his latest youth sports exploit where he always goes. A lot of he pushed a lot of winning squads, man. Bobby had two things on his mind raising his family being a great husband and then just going out in annihilating you on the youth Athletic field. Whatever the sport basketball didn't matter. Baseball tub use support to the throat when Bobby sees around. Yes story. Yeah. Ah, that Hey, Kir, Andre Mon, If you guys want to get a little coach analysis of what Roman's doing Well, I think this team is is built for him to handle the ball for one thing, And then I think he's gotten in much better shape and into a better rhythm over the last couple of weeks. I think he really turned a corner about two weeks ago, physically mentally. And then you know, playing center opens up the floor for him, too. So you know when he's the center, and he's handling the ball, it completely changes the chessboard. And with Steph playing so well, there's just unauthorized of space and a lot of slips. You know your sayings from plays where guys air comically open at the rim because of steps, gravity and the attention to him and dream on, sees all that stuff beautifully. So he's just in a room. Good groove and playing playing with great energy. And I think Raymond has been there is just brilliant. Great stuff, man. Good stuff. Start occurred. Just get Kurt gives us on these interviews, man. He tried. He gives the media what they want. God bless, right. He's great on everybody should appreciate what's going on now. Draymond sat down after the game, and he wasn't looking tol talk about his assists or seeing the floor or his I Q or Steph pulling defenders away. So guys Air open. He didn't wanna talk about that. You wanna talk about something totally different. So this is story I confess escaped my notice that the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to trade Andre Drummond. You know, I got a lot going on in my life, Paulie. And that's the kind of thing that I just can't really burn too much energy on. You know, Andre Drummond status I got you. I mean, give the calves, you know. I mean, the cab's right now back. I mean, Yeah, I know they had LeBron from 07. Whatever it to the finals. All those years. Your Shumpert's You know you J r. Smith's all those guys. Yeah. Yeah. What do you give me for beating the Cavs in in toil? No. Ever. I know where you're going in the in the Giants having to beat the Texas Rangers in the World Series. I thought you were gonna drop a Bangles on me right there. I think for that, Yeah. Championships Come against so, so franchises you gotta take whoever's you know what I mean. They line up their best. It's not our fault, You know, I mean, very good, very high attitude put anyway. So Andre Drummond is looking to get moved by the CAF. So they sat him last night and they said they were not playing because we're gonna trade you. Yeah, Dream on, looked across the court and saw that and he got irate because he said, Wait a minute. So if a player asked to be traded Everybody in the media's all this guy's a cry, baby. He's a better problem. Yes, villain. But if the team wants to trade you, they're like, Hey, sit down and shut up. It's a dream on ever looking out for always looking for a fight. Always looking for a dust up. And not afraid to take on the powers that be. He's not green. Oh, he's really not. Here is his rant. I would like to talk about something that's really bothering me. It's the treatment of players in this league tow watch Andre Drummond before the game, sit on the sideline, then go to the back and then come out in street clothes because the team is going to trade him. Yeah, because when James Harden export trade and essentially dog did, I don't think there was no surprise or no, you know, there's no one's going to fight back there. James was dog in his last days in Houston, but he was cast rated For one to go to a different team, and everybody destroyed.

Turner defense i prepared everything about holiday inn iguala essentially this. I mean it's biased. So you have to take it with a grain of salt. But i'm pretty sure steve. Kerr has listed. Andre iguodala is being wanted premier perimeter defenders like the last thirty years. And i think that would dollar said that drew holiday was basically a defensive player of the year level caliber defense. I don't think either of those are quite true. I think it would allah. Yeah in washington inside. But they're fantastic. I don't think they're both defensive player of the year level. But they were both you know. Premier perimeter defenders. Yeah in watching drew in that series like he gave ray allen problems I'm here was on like he was kinda funny because in watching drew play a current game yesterday. Just it's kind of startling. How similarly he's playing offensively than compared to now he's not laying off at all. He's right on top of you. It just a suffocating defender and showed through in using credible I actually thought out of all the defenses that i that that that we walked in we talked about if you drop the seventy sixers defense in today and obviously you're not starting spencer hawes at least i hope not Say you have elton brand out there and you put that at the four. Because that was her sixth man that you're actually no They were weird because they just played like. They played like ten guys but they gave the bench fad. Played like twenty three twenty four minutes a game in a second. Most off bench louisville was their leading score off the bench that you're actually and just leading scorer in general and let's say But like that defense would hold up better today than i think. Any of the defenses that we watch except obviously the twenty twenty teams. No that's a good point because they just don't have the dinosaurs for lack of better term in a in the center but also major shout out to rookie fitch on the bench there. Yes he actually started. Fifteen games that your. I'd forgotten that and going back through stuff because spencer hawes got injured for some time so started fifteen games but then he ends up getting traded in. What is always the bynum deal. He just trading in the bynum d twelve deal. I always forget the that was part of that and going arlando But yeah that team. Their their defense is fun to watch like audrey. Your dala andrew holiday making rotations together with thad young out. There occasionally like i don't i. It's the kind of thing where it's like. I know that they weren't going anywhere. Which i don't always agree with. I mean think about that. If you keep jrue holiday with andrea dolls twenty eight twenty nine at this point thad. They're not a great. Maybe you get somebody. I don't know. I'm i just figured out how fun that defense would be to wash me. 'cause like we're looking at this defense right now i i instead of typing things into an exile sheet like normal human being. I write everything down and my own. It looks terrible This sixers team ninety nine point two defensive rating which was five point four relative. They actually did it..

And did you guys know that? Harden, Durant and The mercurial Kyrie Irving will all be free agents in 2023. That's before away. Their window is right now everyone left and they had no first rounders. You're trying to figure out what's the best breakfast cereal for the health conscious out there. Now again, I don't really have a vested interest in this. Aziz comprised It will do worse than people think it's going to do and I think people probably think they're gonna lease get to the finals will be good enough to get to the finals. I just don't see it. I don't They're not better than Milwaukee. I don't think they're better than Boston. I don't need a better Miami and so right now, I would put him forth in the east. And then that I could be proven wrong. Maybe at the end of the Argo proof boy. Okay, this team is the real They're the real deal. Would you have ranked him forth? If we would ask that question? No. James Harden trade would you still have the metaphor? Yannis James Harden couldn't move Now. There they are. They're right where they were right where they were. Their impact on the title is maybe for the Pacers. I mean the Pacers. Where did what did the Pacers in this whole thing, Tom? Because I was very impressed by Turner last night, and I just think that they there they've got some nice pieces, and it's kind of like they've got good chemistry, and the whole thing seems to be coming together. They're in the side there in the bottom for you know they're in there. They're not. They're not talented enough. They're just they're not as good as Milwaukee in Boston in Miami. Yeah, but they're not that good. They're not. They're not going to compete with those teams that dad, they just want their solid playoff team I believe and what they want a serious Yeah, they might be able to pull up a upset. But, boy, if you're in the bottom half asked him to be two of those teams, you know, back to back. I think that's too much. I just sold. I think you gotta have me. You gotta have a little more top end. Hop in talent. And all the depot was their top and guy. And now he's gone. The vert replaces him and I like liver, but he's not as good as Old Depot on. I like Sabonis a lot, but he's not. You know, he's not Tatum. He's not Brown. He's not. He's not Butler. He's not Katie. He's not Johannes. He's not Middleton, not holiday. I mean it just They don't have enough of those guys. I don't believe so. But I do like him. They play hard, and I like the way they play, And I think they're good, Solid, team good, solid playoff team. Just not Not a title contender at all. You know, it's interesting too, is that I don't know. Right before this trade broke. There was a report that the Sixers we're gonna include Simmons and and that That was really think. The six years we're going to do that. I mean, would that have been a smart move for the six years? I think Anderson wanted Maxie that kid out of Kentucky. They work at a Kentucky Kentucky tire really was like, no We don't want to. They don't want to give him up so I think it's probably better for them anyway. I really do. I just I don't think Phil. He's got a good thing going right right now. Anyone? Yeah, they're playing. They're playing good ball and You know, Hardened very would very well could go down is the The next generation of Carmelo Anthony. You know, a guy who's just a Hall of Famer. He's a great offensive player. But just not a winner. Just not again. It's gonna win it when a championship because he doesn't do all the little things. I don't know if Carmelo It didn't seem like hardened really inspires anybody on the team. I got the feeling with Carmelo. Same deal, but I don't know for a fact. Would again There's two ends of the court. When when, when you want to win and those other things and then just scoring now? I don't know if Andre Iguodala will end up making the basketball Hall of Fame. I don't know, Uh, Remodel. Make it. I suspect her hymen will, but I'm not sure Andre, I think has a chance. But those guys don't score. I mean, those guys at the epitome of Hey, You need to do all the other little things, too. Now they had talent around him. I mean, that goes without saying that they you today They did have the guy's Hall of Famers around them so they could concentrate on those things like you can't have just those guys on a team without top flight players that didn't work either. Good. Now they're talented, kind of wasted and In a way. Pushing. I didn't mean he's got to see a later I've got to see it with hard. Gotta gotta see so far. I haven't and I don't. There's no way I would run the ad. I'd be curious with the odds on the Nets were last night to win the championship. What they are now. Because if I could short him that that's that's the way I would go. I'd short him. Let's keep it real about. Hi. Rie Irving is specifically James Harden, not inspiring their teammates. Is that it then that's that's not the case at all. It's worked two games in a row. I looked around a loss. They gave Steph problems and Indiana's new coaches atop his sister. When Nick Nurse and don't you think Michael Malone's going Jang Ki. And if we play Friday night of Phoenix game is one of the games. That's not being played tonight. So I think that warrior Phoenix came on. Friday. John would be a question mark as of right now. Yeah, for sure. Look, there's no rule. I don't know solution to it. The junkie defense seems to work a little bit. Other guys hit shots. You get you gain respect, and I don't know that that's gonna happen this year. So there you go. Why they didn't wait around it. If if Andre Iguodala was here, you'd start Andre Iguodala and put him on the point. Get stuff off the ball. I mean, when they're doing this, there It's literally a box and one in Mali, you know, probably face this when he was, you know, High school Start Power Memorial Karim School and then In college basketball. It's legal. It's been legal to play his own throughout. Most coaches don't do it. He coached in the Big East against Jim Boeheim. This is different. It zah 212 or 23. This is a box and one or a triangle into on the way around. It is to get stuff off the ball because they're essentially face guarding him and and stretch out the defense. But, Molly, you'll have thoughts about it. There were ways to get people out of it. I mean, it is. Steps says it's Jang Ki, and it has flaws in it. You can attack it. They just don't have the shooters around it. But you and I talked about James Wiseman yesterday about you know, Mike Brown saying, you know, he's got to figure out a way to finish. You know the thing about a young player, especially that big but really in any position when you're young like this, and Nellie would say the second here saint and all the coaches pop. Minutes air earned. They're not just rewarded. You gotta earn minutes. You can't give a guy that's not playing well. The rotating Well enough for just overall. But he's a kid. He's gonna get better. But you can't just throw him out there because she's then his number two overall pick in the draft. That's not your job. You've got to develop him and right after we went off the air yesterday. Sam Amick wrote a terrific piece this morning in the athletic Do you telling what's going on in the embassy with the The outbreak. What do we have three more games tonight or not being played, So it's it's reaching Real concern, and Sam's got some really good thoughts on that, so we'll hear what Sam has to say it. 10 30, But you know, right after we went off the air, and I think it said yesterday the Warriors except for on entry upon entry. You know that's not really in the protocols for their cows in the facility and disinfecting everything and mass wearing and all of that everything they do. You know, it was James Wiseman. It was dreamin, but after that they didn't have any situation. Partly they haven't traveled. They traveled at first road trip of the year. But being home for seven straight games made you and that now they're gonna go out on the road trip. And what do you do all weekend in l A lock yourself in your room. I mean, pretty much you have to But you know Eric Pascoal And we don't know what it means that he's on the list. Did he test positive If he tested positive he's gonna miss the string of games. If he's just around someone close contact, then that's different. I think he has to get you know Two negatives to come back. So you know, will you be able to play But the point is It opened it up for James Wiseman to play more meaningful minutes last night. And right away. You thought of what he'd do to start the second quarter. They've been going, Derek Paschal. Great idea. Go to the small ball that he be that you know the dream out, and we're gonna go small early and play with a Very undersized five. But you don't have you don't have Paschal, and that's where the game began to slip last night was that second quarter unit Just was not very good at all. And I'm not gonna blame it all on Wiseman. But They were just off and then Wiseman got into foul trouble. I did not like the moving screen on the fifth foul. But he still got called forward. And even if the end of the game, John and it was a 90 90 game, and before that, On. They played their two bigs together, Myles Turner and demand to Sabonis played together. They went to Raymond Small ball. We're going small and Wiseman was not on the floor. At the end of the game, and the small ball lined up didn't work last night. I mean, it was a 90 90 game than Indiana. Myles Turner made three and the holiday brothers got rolling in the Warriors wind up giving up a 13 to nothing run. But Last night was the night for James Wiseman. Sees an opportunity. With Paschal out. He played a little bit more. But I thought the game got away from the Warriors in the second quarter when he started and that you couldn't go to the small ball line up, so he's only 19. You know this is gonna happen. As Anthony Slater wrote in the athletic. It's going to be a roller coaster rookie year is gonna be up and down, and frankly, I thought he's way better. Early than I thought he would be, But you know, we had the thoughts about the number twos and you know, Nick Poster was a dominant player right away and the neck is, you know, he's a boat, so he grew up around the game. Wiseman's a center 19 year old kid didn't play college basketball, essentially, except for 69 minutes, we'll get there. But last night was an opportunity for Wiseman. To sees a chance to start that second quarter and play more. And he just He did not have a great game last night. No, he didn't invite you here. They're right in the head. The same thing I was thinking is what you just said. You went for 19 and seven against the Nets, and he didn't know what he was doing, And I think it was just Hey, go out there, do what you do. And now a couple of things were happening. Number one. He's being coached up to being told what to do. And I think sometimes he can get mechanical overthink. It doesn't look confident with his shot. He early in the season was just kind of let it go now. It's um I supposed to do this? So I think he's thinking too much. And then the other thing, too, is that's what happens with scouting. Teams start to attack you. Okay? This is what he doesn't do and then you have to adjust back. So is, as you said, it's gonna be a roller coaster ride. And while he looked good early, I think he just wasn't thinking. And now there's other responsibilities and expectations. Teams scouting, and I think it's gonna take some time. That's just what it's about. When your rookie and he's got me. It's got to be internal growth. I think when I watch him play and he's just he's just a kid again. He's 19 You know he's got years to grow. He's not going to reach his prime, You know, even Anthony Davis struggle when he was so skinny coming into the N B a and even hand. That he has a pelican before he joined up with LeBron. He had holes in his game. You know, he couldn't win a playoff Syriza. You finally did who they knocked out Portland and then the Warriors took him out. I mean, These things happen, so we're doing it for? You know, we're just, you know, looking.

Grizzlies' Andre Iguodala situation is ugly, but this is how the trade game is played
"The trade deadline is Thursday and by the way do you have an opinion on de Angelo Russell I I got to tell you this at first I was completely in favor of moving him but having gone to a few games Polly being is the partial season ticket holder and fill up man he is a beautiful score he really is and maybe the idea of him and clay and stuff on the same team is kind of intriguing you know not the roster destruction be interesting but right now the timber wolves aren't offering enough so the ways do you have to make a move though to get under attacks line otherwise have to pay a forty million dollar fine I think a lake of even as much as he likes his who concerts in his post Malone concerts and he's not looking to pay forty mil right so Alec Burks could move a blend Robinson could move yeah Amari Spelman could move Jacob everything will come on Looney could move by you gotta wonder what his future is I mean it's unfortunate because he was became such a dependable player for Steve Kerr but I mean I don't know is is he ever going to get back but the real story planned out is with our old pal Andrea you get done yeah how about this is a really weird story he hasn't played a minute from Memphis this year and by the way I think he's making like seventeen Mill seventeen seventeen Mill and I am a little unclear I've tried to read up in much again yeah one clear as to how he can just stay away like is there something in the CBA were like no you gotta come play for is like the guy in office space is again just not going to work anymore I'm just not going under you've missed a lot of games I wouldn't exactly say missing at and I by the way when it when Andriy does come back and go to practice the question is does he clean of fish on newspaper in the locker room do does the does god can offer yeah so anyway so they're going to try to move him and get some for him chained to a veteran team and now the Memphis Grizzlies having a surprisingly good here the twenty five and twenty five they actually hold the eight spot right now they do they got young players like John Moran and they got Dillon Brooks and Dillon Brooks finally just yesterday said you know what we young guys on the Grizzlies a few Andre staying away yeah you can email this
