"And in government back when things were run Well, Bernadette Castro, how you doing? I'm doing well, Mark, How are you doing? It's a beautiful day. Today. It is. But I was watching President Trump last night on Newsmax on the Greg Kelly show and he said New York has been mismanaged into oblivion. What the hell happened? We went from Pataki and Giuliani. To what we know that what happened? I don't know that the mayor is the problem. I mean, he is the CEO of New York City, and it's not working. And he's gone so far to the left. He has, you know the endorsement of all the leftist Socialist, allowing some parks and streets to be taken over. I mean, it is not the New York City. I mean, I have friends. All over the country, and they're just not going to come right now. I mean, they're afraid. And I've got grand daughters that you know, worked in Manhattan. Thank goodness they can work from their apartments. They're still remote. Some point. They won't be in the subway system. We have fewer people riding than ever before. And crime is up more than ever before. Homicides, rapes? I mean, are you kidding me? It's not good and law enforcement needs to be brought in. You know, the mayor has to do a 1 80 say, Okay, stopping Now I'm sending in the cops, you know, and I'm just not strong in that area. It's way we can't let the governor off the hook. He's the one with the brains. He's supposed to be the adult in the room. He's supposed to jump in, and he can't do this bad Waiter. It's not my table routine when it comes to New York City. No, no, you can't. And he holds the purse strings. Okay. I mean, all the neat still has to contribute to New York City for Albany is still in charge. A lot of you know what every single mayor thinks that they are the most important he is the most important person. In New York state. Actually, it is the governor governor. Cuomo was CEO of the entire state, which includes New York City, so he does have a lot of power. But I think that he's tentative. I don't know why. I don't know why he's just He's a strong man. I don't know why in the heck he is and just taking charge so that you know, but I I want to just speak a minute about this incredible woman who's hopefully going Oh, yeah, that Amy Cockney parent Boy, That's one impressive person. So impressive when they try to boxer in a corner and they don't realize how brilliant she is. She teaches this stuff. Okay. She's a constitutional law professor. And when Senator Harris tried to grill her And Amy Co. Bashar. However you say her name I mean to me as a female. Forget that I'm Republican. Just if I'm looking at two women going head to head in a courtroom or in a hearing, I mean, Judge Barrett wins She wins hands down. They cannot trapper. They cannot trick her. I find her brilliant. I find her compassionate. I think that she will be her own person. I absolutely believe it. And I don't think the president you know should be thinking that way, because I think when push comes to shove, this justice will be shockingly incredibly impressive. And you always come down on what she believes is the right side. Regardless of whose side it is. I really have faith in that. And here's what I will say One more thing, and then I don't want to, You know, talk You know, and certainly lecture you, but But you love to lecture me. No, I know, but but Senator Harris, they gave her the best time slot and she takes 20 minutes to make a Democrat speech in favor of Obamacare. And then she gets to questions at the end. So the Democrats have taken this hearing which they didn't want, and they've used it to push fighting agenda by this campaign. They've got their charts. They've got these, you know. Terribly sad stories from people who are dying are almost died. It's nothing about justice Barrett at all. And that is infuriating. I hope American viewers see through that. Well, I know they do. In fact, I don't think they realise how much damage they did for Joe Biden. Because this woman is everything. Americans want to see everything they admire and watch these characters like you watch that, Blumenthal. I mean, I have high definition. I could see the slime dripping off him. This Blumenthal watching people like that spit all over her. It was horrifying. Tio. It's gonna have an effect on uneven the presidential election. Sam, where women's liberation people where is the women's movement? They're not really for women, but they're not a feminist movement. There was Democrat female movement because if they were truly feminist It wouldn't matter what side of the aisle. You have to respect this woman and you have to get angry. Like you said in the way she's being treated, and she's taking it like a trouper. I mean, she I'm telling you. There's not many women that I know in high office, it would handle themselves as well as she is handling herself. Uh, Bernadette Castro. When you were in government, you must have had to sit there for you know some hearings as the commissioner and answer. What do you do that mental? You just say whatever they say, I'm not gonna react all I'll just ignore it. Well, you really have to do your homework, which she's done. I remember when I had my budget hearing those of the only times annually that I would go in front of You know, the Democrat controlled simply on at that time, Republican controlled Senate, But I would have a binder must have been four inches thick. And I was prepared as I could be, because it gives you confidence. And then when they asked you a question that you aren't prepared for you, you know, you say the truth. I've got to get back to you, Senator. You know, I'm sorry. It's not here. You know, I didn't prepare for that particular question. I will get back to and they're very respectful in Albany when you say that, Okay. You don't you can't really be s your way around it. But if they never really were two antagonistic, cause you have to remember. I was the state Parks commissioner. I was historic preservation. I wasn't really you know that partisan. I didn't have to be. So I wass friends with many men and women on both sides. But still I prepare I over prepared you can. You can never be overprepared. That's my motto, and I can see that Judge Parrot. I mean, she knows these cases, she rattled them off. I mean, for any law student. I have one granddaughter. That's going to be taking the You know, I just wish that she she's working, and she couldn't watch the hearings. But, um, and I think I've lost her. You know, she went toe to a school. That's a little liberal. I think I may have one. That's what happened. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, I may have lost her, but this woman is so impressive. That any law student and you know Pete King's daughter went to Notre Dame Law School in Peking has put out all kinds of messages. From his daughter, Erin, saying she was an incredible professor. Incredible and brilliant. So you know, I mean, she will be confirmed, but it's kind of sad that they're trying to tarnish her and link her so much like she said, You know, please don't try to say that. You know, I am going to do with President Trump has stated he never spoke to me. I never spoke to him. We never cut a deal. We never had a conversation period. Well, I hate to say we're out of time, but burning that Castro always great talking to you. We'll do it again soon. Thanks for thanks for being with us. Thank you so much. You take care. We'll get back to Amy. Cockney barrette little later and lots of cut stuff coming up..

"His judicial philosophy was straightforward. A judge must apply the law as it is written. Not as she wishes it were. Sometimes that approach met reaching results that he did not like. But as he put it, and one of his best known opinions that is what it means to say that we have a government of laws and not of men. I think she's trying to establish the distance between what she believes and the job of being a judge of what she had learned from Judge Scalia. So the idea of I may as a Catholic, I believe these things. But when I put on this robe, I am looking at the law that has come. Is it constitutional? That's the argument that she's making as she sits there. To sort of present her side. And then everybody gets a chance to kind of take their opening. Just sort of statements to explain why they think it might not be a good idea to have her seated. I wanna hear from Amy Co. Bashar Tom. Klobuchar? Sure, Yeah. I mean by that, everybody on the committee, so Republicans and Democrats Yes, Judge. I think this hearing was a sham. I think it shows really messed up priorities from the Republican Party. But I am here to do my job. To tell the truth. To all Americans. We don't have some clever procedural way to stop this sham to stop them from rushing through a nominee, But we have a secret weapon that they don't have. We have Americans who are watching who work hard every day, but leave in our country and the rule of law. Whether they're Democrats, Republicans are independent. They know what this president and the Republican Party are doing right now is very wrong. In fact, 74% of Americans think we should be working on a covert relief package right now. Instead of this Okay, So why is it a sham? Is it not constitutional? It's a sham and that they're cramming it through. They're using what the Democrats are using is using the logic that Mitch McConnell used to stop Merrick Garland and now 21 days of 27 Days before the election, she thinks it's a sham because people are gonna weigh in on who they want to lead us in the next eight years or four years. And if it happens to be a Democrat, this Democrat would not have appointed this woman, but it's not unconstitutional. That's like they're allowed to issues. We don't have any tricks to do this. It's just there are there are appeals. Teo, You know, sort of ethics of fairness, those kinds of things but writes her frustration. That trumps pushing this through. In spite of all right, I I don't think hardworking Americans who described the Constitution is a sham Senator John Kennedy. It's not Constitution doesn't mean it is caused by the constitutional. It's just It's not following the Constitution right there following the Constitution, But it's a sham. If your memory the difference being again, Mitch McConnell It hides the Senate. Obama in the White House. In this case you have Republican in the White House. You have Senate being controlled by the Republicans. So that's why this is different than their American. That's the fig leaf that the Republicans were using. But even and there's mean you've seen the commercials, too. I mean, you you have. Instagram, who happens to be the chairman of this committee said You can use this against me. If this happens, you know right before they look, I will not allow for this happen. And if I do, you can show how hypocritical am and we are, and it's not going to matter. Right. That's not hypocritical. John Kennedy Award would know, but we've described the hypocrisy differently. But it's where you do one thing in public, but nothing in private. John Kennedy warns that and this guy's got always has something that CB says something with some sort of Southern twine. Lets see. Now look, Judge. I'm not my There we go. Yeah. I understand this thing can turn sour real fast. We all watched the hearings for Justice Cavanaugh. It was a freak show. It looked like the cantina bar singing out of Star Wars. And I know For someone on accustomed to it that it hurts to be called a racist. I think it's one of the worst kind you can call America. And I know it must hurt for someone. A deep Christian faith like yourself to be called a religious bigot. And tohave. It implied. Because you are devout Christian. That you're somehow unfit. For public service before it's over with, they may call you Rosemary's baby. Romano. Oh, not while he's going way back on the references. He's Star Wars and Rosemary's Baby with Mia Farrow Academy Award winning performance by MIA. Um Ah, you want to hear from Senator Harris, who is busy trying to be vice president? Sure. This hearing has brought together more than 50. People inside a closed door room for our nation is facing a deadly airborne virus. This committee has ignored Common sense requests to.

"Positive for Corona virus. This after the president's aide, Hope Hicks, she tested positive how many more dominoes may fall. Meanwhile, vice president Pence and his wife have both tested negative. So that's the big story out of washing today, and now it's all going to sort out. And what's it going to mean for the debates and even the confirmation of Ah, Amy Co come Cockney Barrett. Now the president was aware of hope Hicks is positive diagnosis because he was on with Hannity last night, Michael and and here's what the president had to say she tested positive. She's a hard worker, a lot of masks who she's wears masks a lot, but she tested positive. Then I just went out with a test. I'll see what because we spent a lot of time in the first lady just went out with a test also So whether we quarantine whether we have it, I don't know. Well, that's before we found out and when he did find out he did tweet out to the nation of one o'clock this morning, hey, was also asked on last night's show with Shawn about the crowds of people that he he does hang around with it. "To someone like Amy Coney Barrett, it's you're probably not going to be able to find like a guy that's GonNa come out and say, yeah when I was seventeen amy conybeare assaulted me at a party like you're probably not gonna be able to find a bunch of accusers real or not toward a woman, it's going to be much harder to do amy co conybeare seems to be at the top of the list. We know that she visited the White House. She's got a great record as a judge She is a I believe of seven. She is a Catholic from New Orleans and she has a very illustrious career in she was on the shortlist. A few a couple years ago when Brett Cavanaugh was nominated. and. She already has tax coming her way and we have a taste of what those attacks are going to look like. This is from Ron Charles at the Washington Post. He tweeted this amy conybeare at the judge at the top of trump's list to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg has said we should always remember that a legal career that a quote legal career is a means to an end and that end is building the Kingdom of God, and of course, they tweeted this as if it was a bad thing. Well, let me let me break this to you for people who aren't Christians all Christians believe this in every endeavour in life we believe that that is our goal to advance the Kingdom of God. That's our. That's our goal in life. That is our aim in guys. Christians have been running a lot of things in this country for a very long time whether you believe it or not. They've done a heck of a good job and heck of a good job securing your rights in your liberty that doesn't mean the church has never been wrong. That means that the majority of the Church of the Roman Catholic Church has never been on the wrong side of issues because unfortunately, of course that has happened but. The idea that this is novel that all the sudden we're worried about the Christian faith in regards to someone's ability to be able to judge. Rightly, that's crazy like Christians have been on the Supreme Court. They have been a federal judges for as long as America has existed as long as we have had federal judges in the Supreme Court. So the only thing that has changed is the increase in anti Christian bigotry on the left it has it the influence of Christianity certainly has increased over the past few decades but. anti-christian intimate certainly has especially on the left until you're going to see these kinds of attacks on her faith..

"And so basically this wine cave thing kind of kicked off when our colleague every code heady Shlaefer on an instagram. Some of these pictures of a Mayor Pete Fundraiser in California where there is this wine cave in a chandelier the lear with crystals all over. And so obviously there's this broader question within the Democratic Party about how to deal with both the donors you know. Elizabeth Warren is not taking any money from donors with Bernie Sanders and mayor. Pete really has embraced. Brace some of the bigger fundraisers and beat made the argument that he needs the money whereas a lot of the candidates on stage don't because they're independently wealthy according to Forbes magazine. I am the literally the only person on this stage. Who's not a millionaire or billionaire so if this is important the this is the problem with issuing purity tests you cannot yourself pass if I pledge never to be in the company of a progressive democratic donor? I couldn't be up here senator. Your net worth is one hundred times mine and he also pointed out that more in for her senate campaign has done fundraisers in the past and this is sort of a new stance for her but these you have been kind of going back back and forth for weeks. So it's not surprising that this would come up Senator Klobuchar shut it down by saying like guys. We're not here to fight. Let's move on. Let's make progress. But then moments later she was taking it can shots of Pete herself. Yeah Amy Co Vittori. Yesterday really came off fighting and she was really going after mayor. Pete I don't think aiming likes T- very much I don't you think so either when we were in the last debate mayor you basically mocked one hundred years of experience on the stage. And what do I see on this date. I see Elizabeth's work starting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and helping twenty nine million people. I see the vice president's work in getting two billion dollars for his cancer moonshot icy centers sanders work a working to get the veterans bill passed across the aisle. And I see what I've Abdun are which is to negotiate three farm bells and be someone that actually had major provisions put in those bills so you can dismiss committee hearings. I oh I think this experience works and I have not denigrated your experiences. A local official. I've been one. I think you should respect our experience when you look get how you evaluate. made the point with him that like. Hey young man like sit down and and listen to some of these people I respect them. Yeah it was kind of a big night for a big night for Yang. I liked a lot of things about the debate. I didn't love the moving background. That was kind of hard to stare at. I didn't love that. A lot of the more diverse candidates had disappeared but I did like fewer people and better questions and more substantive conversation and whereas whereas all the other debates opened with healthcare. It's become so monotonous and cliche. This one ended with healthcare and like ended ended with US fight on healthcare. Yes so yesterday you did see Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders really kind of clash over healthcare. And you know this was really like a really unique mom. You have two guys who are sensibly. The front runners and making sure that we're able to cover everyone who is in fact able to be covered. It put your hand for second partner. Okay you know I know I know me really. Did you have a pretty substantive Argument over their different visions for healthcare. You Joe Biden has basically said he wants to build on obamacare below the public option and Bernie Sanders. Obviously a huge proponent of Medicare for all he always says I wrote the Damn Bill but last night he did not that was not like his big less nightly they've really got into it and prior to draw some clear separation between themselves. And you really got to see like how they both think about this. You have healthcare very differently. It covers everybody. It's realistic realistic. And most importantly and lets you choose what you want here you have one hundred. Sixty million people negotiated. Their healthcare plans was their employer. Like many of you have you may or may not like it. If you don't like it you can move into the public option that I proposed in my plant. You like it. You shouldn't have while you shouldn't have Washington dictating you. You cannot keep the plan you have senator set of forty five seconds. Joe's plan essentially we retain the status ATIS quote. That's not true. Exactly thank you and by the way Joe Onto your plan you know yes we're GONNA pay for it under your plan. I'll tell you how paying for right now. The average worker in America family makes sixty thousand a year. That family is paying twelve two thousand dollars a year for healthcare. Twenty percent of income of the Medicare for all that family will be paying twelve hundred dollars a year because Crossword laminating the proper tearing of the drug companies and the insurance companies and ending this Byzantine and complex administration of thousands of separate healthcare plan. Yes and it was a reminder that despite everything we've been through this year the front runners in this campaign are still Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders exactly Doing and if you were raised do new view rate and review one every now Fever pursue.

And they're like only one hand on it do not put two hands on. And so you do that. And then you go in and the show starts, I'll say this. I think that Amy will be the most entertaining person on the show. Yeah. Yeah. I think Amy wins as the most inter- can't say much else. But you you take a big group of personalities, and I think Amy comes away as the one that people will talk about que question. Yeah. Go ahead. Do you think anything will get edited out like it was so bad? We gotta get that out of there. No. But there are times where questions I gave a really stupid answer once and they had to go to the to the people and be like coin accept this. And yeah. Oh, yeah. So yeah, there's that stuff would be deliberating. That's the only the edited out like they would go one hundred people surveyed name a color, and I'm like apple and they're like, I don't know. Can we accept apple or they go to the truck? Can we said apple and then like, okay? We can't accept apple. Okay. They flip up. So Steve Harvey's amazing. Steve harvey. Yeah. Well, so funny so cool because in the shoot I think five shows a day. Yeah. I lost or five days and then they're done with all season. And so he doesn't mess around. We came on right after Chrissy Teigen and John legend played the banner pump roles teams. Did you get to see any of that? Yeah. We watch on the monitor. Oh, that's cool. Yeah. So they walked off and we walked on. And Steve she goes and change his clothes. And so he can come out, and you know, different suits different show. Yeah. And he walks out is like, and it's funny. You know, and he, you know, he talks to me, and he goes, okay? Who's your team? And I'm like, well, this is Amy and do the thing with Amy. They did a bit about us. Right. Well, he kind of had this like you could see on his cue card. It said something like, I didn't see Schuylkill. So it's crazy as he doesn't use like a teleprompter. He uses like a poster board someone's like handwriting it like really fast outsides, though, the camera. No now, the cow. Well, they have three of them. So there's one of the middle. And there's one on each side. Who's the guy from letter in the snow? He's the q-car get so back in the day. Yes. It was the same thing. So it's like that. And he just would have little hints on there. Like, Amy co hosts. Met Bobby at a restaurant said, hi, they could call. They may edit out a part where it calls me. Bobby brown? Oh that was Funny. funny. But I'd say, well, I don't know. But I stopped him. He was like in Bobby Brown because people come with all the time. I think he was saying Amy met Bobby Brown at a restaurant. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Steve. I know I can dance, but I'm not bothered drown. And so, yeah, I don't I don't know if they're gonna edit out because it's a thirty minute show. Are you happy with the overall performance of the team? We'll say it came down to the end. Okay. Okay. That's all I can say. All right. Yeah. See I can't tell I can't tell you. If you guys water not. Yeah. We can't we're not giving away. But we all had matching. I made us all jackets had our names on it on the backs at family, jackets, black, denim, jackets. And so I don't wanna have to worry about close. So people so dressed. Yeah. That we were jackets and John hardy was sick. Sadly, oh, I don't know if you could tell on TV or not, but he was like say a cold. Yeah. So he was but that's rough lorrimore super pumped. So we are Reno Reno. Wait a minute. We're all there. We all get in which first of all I was nervous because we're all five different people come to replace merging together. And so we all get there. And we show up to the lot where they shoot the show, and they're like, okay here your name tags. I give you that big blue name tag. It's crazy which is Eddie Eddie wasn't. There's all talk to Edie. They give you this big blue name tag. And they go usually we don't have people keep name tags since it's celebrity you get to keep it, y'all. Kept him. Yeah. Yeah. That's pretty amazing. Yeah. Yes. We we kept the name tags. They put you in a room. They you all the rules because it's official because there's money involved, you're playing for charity. Right. And so you sit in a room with both teams and we were playing against. Andy Roddick the tennis player in Brooklyn decker his wife, who's the actress and their mom and dad, and and they were like who do you gonna play in Andy's my best friends in life? And I was like Andy in Brooklyn. They're the same team, and they're both famous Brooklyn more famous than India's at this point. So we go up, and it's fine because all my friends are in the room, and then all my friends came to play. So it was cool for me to bring pretty much. Everybody is kind of a rural coal experience. And so there is. The rules. And then you walk out on the stage. It's pretty crazy two walkout, right guys. Yeah. Shoot it. Like, it's live like feel like you're watching the show you're in it. There's a studio audience. Yeah. Every and so there's a big sign you can see on my Instagram. Maybe it's not there now. But you know, it says Bobby bonds and big word and they're said like Roddick decker family, and you're standing up, and they go into Bobby buzz family, and then you turn on you walk down to the podium, and so we walked down, and and you go up and you learn the buzzer where you go. Well, he kind of had this like you could see on his cue card. It said something like oh. So it's crazy as he doesn't use like a teleprompter. He uses like. Poster Bush someone's like handwriting. Both sides of the camera and now the cow, well, they have three of them. So there's one of the middle. And there's one each side who's the guy from letter in the snow. He's the q-car got so back in the day. Yes. It was the same. So it's like that. And he just would have little hints on there. Like, you know, Amy co hosts. Bobby at a restaurant said, hi, they could call. They may edit out a part where it causing me. Bobby brown? L D. Well, I don't know. But I stopped and he was like and Bobby Brown because people come in all the time. I think he was saying Amy met Bobby Brown at a restaurant. Steve, I know I can dance, but I'm not. "I've been shooting American idol all last week and Amy and lunchbox came from Nashville Lauren came from. I think like North Dakota and John partying here from California. Northern California gets you. So we are Reno Reno. Wait a minute. We're all there. We all get in which first of all I was nervous because we're all five different people. Come to replace. Yeah. Yeah. Merging together to him. It's so we all get there. And we show up to the lot where they shoot the show, and they're like, okay here your name tags. They give you that big blue name tag. It's crazy, which is crazy. Eddie wasn't there? Talked to Eddie. They give you this big blue name tag. And they go usually we don't have people keep name tags percents celebrity. You get to keep it, y'all. Kept him. Yeah. Yeah. That's pretty amazing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So we we kept the name tags. They put you in a row, they read you all the rules because it's official because there's money involved, you're playing for charity. Right. And so you sit in a room with both teams and we were playing against. Andy Roddick the tennis player in Brooklyn decker his wife, who's the actress and their mom and dad, and and they were like who do you wanna play in Andy's on my best friends in life? And I was like Andy in Brooklyn. They're the same team, and they're both famous Brooklyn more famous than India's at this point. So. We go up, and it's fun because all my friends are in the room, and then all my friends came to play. So it was cool for me to bring pretty much everybody. Yeah. I just got a roll-call experience. And so the raiders the rules, and then you walk out on the stage. It's pretty crazy two walkout, right guys. Yeah. Shoot it like it's live like feel like you're watching the show, but you're in it. And there's a studio audience. Yeah. Every and so there's a big sign, and you can see on my Instagram. Maybe it's not there now. But it says Bobby bonds and big word, and they're said like Roddick decker family, and you're standing up, and they go into Bobby buzz family, and then you walk down to the podium, and so we walked down and. Yeah. And you go up and you learn the buzzer where you go. They ask questions you go, sir. You hit all that happens to test it out make sure it works. Yeah. And they're like only put one hand on it do not put your hands on. And so you do that there. And then you go in in the show start. I'll say this. I think the Amy will be the most entertaining person on the show. Yeah. Yeah. I think Amy wins as the most inter- can't say much else. But you you take a big group of personalities. And I think Amy comes away as the one that people will talk about. Hey question. Yeah. Go ahead. Do you think anything will get edited out like it was so bad? No. But there are times where question I gave a really stupid answer once and they had to go to the to the people and be like coin accept this. And. Oh, yeah. So yeah, there's that stuff would be deliberating. Edited out is like they'll go one hundred people were surveyed name a color, and I'm like apple and they're like, I don't know. Can we go to the truck? Can we accept apple? And then like, okay, we can't accept apple. They flip up. So amazing. Harvey. So funny because they shoot I think five shows a day. Yeah. I Walker five days and then they're done with all season. And so he doesn't mess around. We came on right after Chrissy Teigen and John legend played the banner pump roles team. Did you get to see any of that? Yeah. We watch on the monitors. Oh, that's cool. Yeah. So they walked off. And we walked on stage. It goes to change his clothes. And so he can come out in different suits. Yeah. And he walks out is like an and it's funny. He you know, he talks to me. And he goes, okay. Who's your team? And I'm like, well, this is Amy and do the thing with Amy. They did a bit about us. Right. Well, he kind of had this like you could see on his cue card. It said something like oh, see. So there's one of the middle. And there's one on each side who's the guy from Lateran in the snow. He's the q-car got so back in the day. Yes. It was the same thing. So it's like that. And he just would have little hints on there. Like, you know, Amy co-hosts met Bobby at a restaurant said, hi, they could call. They may edit out a part where it calls me. Bobby brown? "I just got a letter in last week from a woman the woman mum sitting down doing homework, and their eight-year-old is doing homework, and she's like mom, can you help me with this? I don't think I understand. This was about the constitution. And it was about the first amendment and your freedom of speech, and the homework said that everybody has a freedom of speech. However, it's all regulated by the government, and the government, of course, is regulated by the people. And when there's a problem of speech that make someone feel unsafe. They can go to the government and say, this speech needs to be banned the government to make sure that everyone is safe can ban speech. So this right is not an absolute it's a balance between the people and the government. When they get together to protect others. That's what they're teaching now. How that's absolutely terrifying. Jason I wanna move onto the supreme court and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Yeah. So actually, really sad story. She's eighty five now so any kind of small something to be not as big of a deal to like us like breaking a rib or whatever would rib is really very painful, very pain. But for someone like eighty five that could be like a really big deal. I read one that said there's a very high probability or possibility that someone her age when nice when this happens if she could develop pneumonia because you can't read enough, and so a five that could be very, very fatal. The good news for her is that she seems kind of actually pretty stout. She's had a stint that she had, you know. Put in she's in. Oh, yeah. The problem with with older people at her age is you can be really health healthy. But you have one major issue and you go downhill. Yeah. So I was just thinking the supreme court's already in turmoil. I don't know if they're going to go towards like some kind of I don't know what the house is going to do all the investigations they could be doing. Well, they go after Cavanaugh. I mean who knows that they could probably don't have much stand on now since most of them are recanting some of some of somebody's recanting they are. So there's a report day there was a conservative blogger happened to be on the Acela train with with someone in the democratic leadership. And they were talking about going out. He was on the phone talking to people about going after Kevin on once they got the power. He's a house member impeaching Kevin impeaching Trump. Who knows tossing around it will not work for them. But I mean, I can Grassley judiciary committee chairman Grassley has already said that if there is an opening on the supreme court and twenty twenty they're not going to bring it to bring to the floor. They're just not going to consider it. The let the next incoming president. Maybe Trump gets reelected, then they'll they'll bring what wait what he's already said that. So that right after they Cavanaugh he are you. Sure, absolutely positive. He said that in twenty twenty if opening comes in twenty twenty twenty final year. Yeah. It's still even when that happens there. They're still going to pull the trigger on it. They can say that. Now, if they get to the summer of twenty twenty and you're in the middle of the election. You know, you you could make the case because that's what the case foolishly. That's the case that the Republicans you can't bring so they kind of set the precedent. I don't agree with the president. That's not they should have brought what's his name Carla garlands of name to the floor in voted. That's what should happen. They should've voted it down. But they should have brought it they should have brought it to the floor and voted voted on it here. Here's the here's the thing. Can you imagine? Can you imagine if Ruth baiter Ginsburg is the one that goes this year, and you put what was the woman's name in Coney air is the most recent one though, and you imagine replacing her with Amy co embarrassed she they would hold our opposites Kelly. Good gosh. And the left will set the world on fire..

In fact, all the girls were encouraged to be very pre ish and follow the school rules to the letter. We will always told that it would be stay on the owner of the school if we did the slightest thing wrong. So if ago had a secret supply of sweets, some other girls would order her to render them to the head prefect because it was against the rules. And if some goes want to lock round. After lights out and jump on the bed. Sore have pillow fights. There would always be some progress girls who would tell them off and threatened to call matron. What with Dennis like, ask Katie. I bet they were better than my school. The school food was not fix animals, but we were supposed to eat it all, and thank cook personally for her efforts. We also have to take a spoonful of cows de medicine before bed, and I always used to keep it in my mouth and spit out before brushing my teeth, tasted disgusting. All the while. It was on my tongue. I did not care to swallow it. It sounds awful. Did you have any friends asked Katie. Yes, lack you? I had a best friend. She arrived in my second term and I knew right away that had lasted found a kindred spirit. Your see, she came from the USA and she was to use the modern term an African American. I think most of us had never seen anyone with black skin before I, I, everyone used to stare at her including the teachers. She and I both recognized that we were a bit different. And soon we became inseparable. Almost like sisters, we would nicknamed ebony and ivory, but her real name was Amy Jefferson. Her father had made a fortune in the beauty business. I believe when nobody else was around Amiens I called each other by first names just do defy the school rules. We used to go for long walks around the grounds. And when we were out of sight, she taught me to do just on his from New York. She was brilliant at sports and when all the races and jumping events, but the headmistress miss heavy would not allow her to keep all the cups and medals because she said it was not fair for one girl to win all the prizes. We suspected that she took them down to town, sold them. Amy was also a leading light in the drama club. But again, the head teacher would not let her have too many good parts because she had to give other goals a chomps, Amy co, two very good imitation of Misheck saying, let no say that. I'm not fair. Did Amy? No. You were a witch grandma ask Katie? Not I. I kept my word to my parents did not do any magic unless it was a dire emergency. But then I think she began to suspect one night matron radar dome etry. She came in suddenly turned on the lights and made all the goals stamped by that beds while she conducted to search for illegal sweets books and teddybears, Amy kept a diary under her pillow in which he wrote down everything about her day at school, including lots of an to water. Walks about the Craig's and the snoops and teachers who toady to them and especially about miss heavy and how she always picked on her. Amy thought she was done vocal because matron went straight to her bed and found the diary open the book and try to eat random, hey, JR. But she was baffled, looks this. She demanded to know, is it a secret cloud? She thrusts the book in front of Amy's face. Amy, read the words and smiled no mention, she replied, it's not code. It's Latin. Those verses are from the aeneid by the Roman poet Virgil. You see, I had saved Amy's life with a quick spell to change the world's in her diary. After that unusual happening. I think a MRs specked that somebody was helping her and the most likely person was me what any of the goals bunnies. Oft Katie. There was a small group who did not like Amy and me, but they soon learn to keep the distance one time. They koonig us in the bathroom and tried to make us wash our hair with sodium peroxide to turn it glommed. The chief bunny was a go, cold, Glendora Taylor. I fixed with my eyes and her had immediately turned white. I, I, you did not know what had happened, but the other soon let her know. And after she saw herself in a looking glass, she ran out to the bathroom screaming that I was a witch that not do much good for my reputation as a normal person, but they didn't mess with us anymore. Not long after that miss heavy accused of stealing and ancient magic book from the library on the performing a witches ritual in the open air at the end of the school grounds. In fact, Amy was showed me how to dance the samba, miss heavy threatened to write to our parents with her accusation of witchcraft. And I knew that my mother would be furious with me. It was a total lie about the book. I had felt it's magical presence in the library, but I had avoided it. Apparently it was very valuable. We both denied knowing anything. About the missing book. We were both locked in a small room for entire day with just Brad and cheese to eat. Frankly, the food was an improvement on school meals, and we did not mind missing lessons. We still refuse to confess to the charges against us. Then she called a police sergeant, wow, said KT. That's far worse than anything. Miss vile his added-on. Oh, yes. Miss heavy was no friend of ours, said grandma. The police officer interviewed us Nima had mistresses study. He asked miss heavy to leave the room. She looked pretty put out, but he insisted you see, he was clearly very interested in Amy. I didn't think he'd ever met in American will seen anyone with black skin, and he wants to know hold about her life and why have father had sent a all the way to an English school. She replied that he wanted her to lose her New York accent and to learn European refinement. Eventually he opened up his notebook licked his pencil and said, now what Solis about much occur rituals. We told him that we were doing jazz stances. He replied that he played popular tunes on the piano, and we got chatting about the latest numbers from America and about the movies at the picture house about Clark Gable Joan Crawford, Charlie Chaplin. He clearly thought it was all nonsense about witchcraft and wasn't a bit interested in it. I began to relax, and as I did, so my magic Powell's grew stronger had sudden strong intuition. I felt the presence of the missing magic book emanating from miss heavies desk. In fact, I was sure that it was in her draw. The sergeant was so taken with Amy that he did not notice me focusing on the table, opening the door with my eyes and moving the book by telekinesis onto the bookshelf next to rivers of the world. By Mr. Niles creek Keiichi of caused knew that telekinesis is the power to move objects from afar when MS heavy returned the room. She said one word while I have concluded my investigation said the sergeant and I've discovered no evidence of which coughed only two charming young ladies as proves that your school is doing a very fine job at bringing them up. What about the stolen buck? She demanded, aren't you going to search for right? It was. Then that I looked over to her bookshelf and said, isn't that it what? What you are saying? White? She rebuked to me sharply, but the police sergeant had already spotted the golden spine with magic symbols on it. If I may not check a closer inspection miss, he said he pulled out the book and read the title magic spells and enchantment s-. Inside the cover. He found a pay to the names of Baras from the school library. The last entry was full, miss j w heavy. I see no crime hair. So the sergeant, but you may a sixpence the library for an overdue book. I managed to suppress my snigger, but Amy was not so street. She laughed out loud and raucously and all miss heavy could do was to few with fury. Well, I think that's enough for today, said grandma looking at the clock, I must be boring you with all this chatter, oh, no said Katie. It's all fascinating for me. I've learned that however much. I grumble about school. It's nothing compared to what you went through. The main thing to remember is this said grandma. When you go through some tricky times, you often make your strongest friendships because you are sharing in adverse thirty. Amy is going to be one hundred next week and I'm flying over to Florida to join half our party. Amazing. Are you going by bream stick? Asked Katie? Oh, no.
