Five go on trial in Germany over far-right plot to kidnap health minister, topple government
"5 people are on trial in Germany, accused of planning a far right coup and plotting to kidnap the country's health minister. The four men, aged from 44 to 56 and a 75 year old woman, are accused of founding or being members of a terrorist organization and treason federal prosecutors say for groups linked to the Reich citizens scene that rejects the legitimacy of Germany's post war constitution and has similarities to parallel movements in the U.S., prosecutors say the Germans intended to create conditions similar to Civil War by using explosives to cause nationwide blackouts, and were then kidnapped, health minister carlotta back, a prominent advocate of strict coronavirus measures, however, there are no indications the group which calls itself United patriots was close to launching the coup. "A lot of topics that I want to cover here. And it was funny. When we were in the break, we were talking about what we were going to start with first. And there's a ton of options on the table. And of course, Alex Clark said, I don't want to talk about the queen's court or the king's coronation. Because I don't know anything about the British stuff. And so I immediately thought then we're starting with the coronation. Of course. So Joe bob, why don't you fill us in? So King Charles is now King Charles. He's been crowned. He was the king already. And I think this is interesting too because my wife and I were just in London for like a week like two weeks ago and everybody was prepped with the coronation. Now the coronation is happening may 6th and isn't the coronation gonna be so grand. It was funny, all of our tour guides in London were saying, well, the king will walk down this road and the king will do this and I could I couldn't help but think the entire time and maybe this just makes me a patriot American who cares. I do not understand why anybody cares so much about the king of a foreign country and this whole idea of running society as a democracy. The idea of a monarch and king, I don't get it. Well, I mean, that part of it is really not the controversial part. I mean, you and I had a disagreement in the break. Yeah. I think there's a place for the royals and the monarchy as an institution in England. I think it's good when a country holds up these institutions that have history and tradition built into them that the people know and love and look up to. The queen was the great. There's a lot of people in this audience that think the queen was this globalist shill and she was actually working with the rockefellers and all this stuff. I don't know anything about this. All I'm saying, all I'm saying is that she comported herself with dignity, respect. She honored the church and the Church of England, the tradition that was handed down to her. She was a steward of she looked at her family as something to be protected and from the British tabloid press. Now, Joe bob comes at it from a different angle. You don't like it, do you very much? Oh. You know why? 'cause I'm an American. Okay, but here's what I don't understand. And I feel like there's a piece that I'm missing here. It seems to me like the English aren't that excited about this coronation and stuff either. "What's up with the Tom Brady deal this year? I mean, he takes two weeks off. I mean, everybody's saying that gisele told him he had to spend time with the kids. Out west, the kings were beaming again, lighting up the warriors one 14 one O 6 as the air and Fox scored 24 to put Steve Kerr's defending champions in danger of becoming ex champions. We know we have to play better. But we will play better. We're these guys are champions. You saw what they did. It was a good playoff night for kings as the NHL's Los Angeles kings came from behind to stun the oilers four to three in game one on Alex I have follows overtime gold. It took two overtimes for the wild to beat the stars in Ryan Hartman's goal. The bruins said in NHL regular season record for victories and Boston started the postseason with a three one victory over the Panthers. Brad marchand scored what turned out to be the game winner. It's always good to start the first game with a win, but we have an accomplished anything yet. The hurricanes took advantage of home ice to stop the islands due to one in their game one. 25 stays for auntie ranta. Fun to play these games again. Just super excited and getting that home crowd going the baseball at the annual patriots day, morning game in Boston, former Red Sox hunter Renfro got the angels off early with a first inning three run Homer, then drove in another run in the second inning in a 5 four angels victory. Ukraine official: We will launch counteroffensive when ready
"The top Ukrainian official says it's only a matter of time before his country's military achieves a necessary preparedness to launch its counter offensive against Russian troops. I'm Ben Thomas with the latest. The secretary of Ukraine's national security and defense council tells the AP the country's allies are helping Ukraine acquire the necessary equipment to launch the attack delivering heavy armored vehicles and ammunition, but Alexei danilov also expressed frustration that allied officials sometimes promise one thing and do a completely different one. Well, he didn't elaborate. President Bloomberg zelensky in his nightly address noted, delays in the delivery of promised weapons costs of Ukrainian soldiers. Dental office says Ukraine will not start any offensive unprepared and while stopping short of confirming the patriot air defense system promised by the U.S. has arrived. "Respect what the fact that she speaking up, she was at a very public harassment by the left, which is something that's getting to be a daily occurrence for those who believe like we do and but I met her twice. This week that would actually protect women and girls in sports. I want you to tell our listeners about the legislation. Sure, great legislation, House resolution 7, 34 is entitled women and girls in sports act. Basically, Todd is just perhaps prohibit school athletic programs from allowing individuals whose biological sex at birth was male to participate in programs that are four women or girls. It prohibits that. Greg Stevie, who's a great patriot was a sponsor. I'm an original co sponsor. We're up to 93. Now and it's sad we have to do this, but it reestablishes the title 9 integrity by prohibiting anyone who receives federal funds and operates sponsors or if they facilitate athletic programs from allowing males to compete in programs or designate for women or girls. "Is coming. I don't want us to be overly focused on the macro political, my bigger call to action is actually on the micro is actually on what are you doing daily to become a better and stronger activist and patriot, a better child of God, a better father, a better friend, you know, what are you doing to take terrain? And then yes, one elections pop up, do your thing. Right. Because I think we're too focused on the macro. And I think the macro, the bad macro news can create a lot of fatigue and depression and cynicism and disengagement, where if you're doing small daily tasks as it says in the book of nehemiah, zerubabel says these are the days of long and hard work of righteous work when they were trying to rebuild the temple and they were discouraged. Then the macro shouldn't impact you as much, right? So what does that mean? It means if you're young and if you're a college student or your high school student here, save yourself for marriage and get married and have a beautiful family. That's something we should talk more about. That's important regardless if The White House is one or not. If you're an entrepreneur out there and you run a business, I hope you're able to scale your business to huge limits and become a George Soros and give all that money away so that you can fight these bad guys because we need really rich Christians to go pour hundreds of millions of dollars into these communities, right? The RESTRICT Act Revisited With Senator Kevin Cramer
"Let's dive right into it. Your co sponsor of the restrict act. Tell us why. Sure, a couple of things Charlie, like a lot of conservatives wondering what's the right touch on how you deal with all things China and of course there are other adversaries. How do we protect our young people? How do we protect our secrets? How do we protect data from bad actors and do you just ban TikTok and Huawei and then ban them as they come? Or can we put some guardrails up front that and some authorities that prevent these investments from taking place prior to them becoming prior to a 150 million users in the United States downloading an app. And I think it's an honest discussion. And I think there's somewhere in all of this, there's hopefully the right path. The restrict act to me seems like a pretty good starting point. And a good place to start the discussion at least and see where it leads. So do you think the bill is being currently misunderstood by critics such as myself? And if so, what do you think are the big misconceptions that people are leveling towards this potential piece of legislation? Yeah, I do think there's some misunderstanding, but at the same time, Charlie, you know, I'm always open to misunderstood people correcting me. I think it'd be arrogant for me to just say you're all you're all wrong and we're the good guys and we're right. And that's why that's why what I like about this bill, I expect that there'll be a lot of debate. There will be amendments offered and there should be. I actually think there could be a few more guardrails put in place a couple more restrictions, particularly on the executive branch. But one of the things, one of the what I think is a misconception is that this is similar to the patriot Patriot Act that it's a dragnet to catch Americans and all of those things. And we tried really hard in the Bill. And I used the term weed loosely, by the way. This was largely authored by Mark Warner and John thune. And they're on the commerce committee, which has jurisdiction over telecommunications. And so it's really a hardware, more of a hardware Bill. It doesn't go after VPNs, and we're really not interested in content. We're not interested in individuals. It's really companies from specific adversarial countries.

The Regime's Ukraine Leak Power Grab
"Try to use this as an excuse to restrict our speech. They're starting to talk here. They're saying, well, now we need to police more of these social channels. They're going to use this as a prerequisite for censorship. This is how the regime works. They are coming after our dissident social media platforms. It's one of the reasons why we oppose the restrict act. Telegram, rumble, now Twitter, getter, truth social, Discord, I guess. I mean, I don't use Discord. I don't know how helpful it is. NBC News says U.S. Intel agencies may change how they monitor social media chat rooms after missing leaked U.S. documents for weeks. Oh, so they might monitor our telegram chats now. By the way, this is one of the reasons the restrict act says, oh, if you have connections to Russia, we could get rid of telegram was founded by a Russian. And Discord is very similar to telegram. It's a messaging service. We use telegram for all our communications on the show. It's a really good platform. I encourage people to find a better messaging platform for high frequency file sharing and for being able to get lots of different channels and feeds. The user interface is the best, I think. But they would love to be able to go after they've talked about how telegram is fomenting places for right white nationalist tape. They basically say they plan to scrub Discord from now on. Basically announcing they plan to spy on the entire thing. Use the Patriot Act, use Edward Snowden's, what Edward Saudis will work on the National Security Agency to go after all of our online chatter. So their response to this is that, hey, maybe we shouldn't be funding an illegal war in Ukraine and having U.S. troops in Kyiv. No, no, no. Instead of acknowledging that they are an error and deceit and that they are lying, they want to clamp down on the citizens.

You Can't View a Leaker in Binary Teams
"Asked, you know, people are emailing us Charlie. Do you think this leaker is a hero or a villain? Well maybe there's a third choice. I mean, generally, I'm not a huge fan of leaking for leaking sake. Certainly didn't like the leaking of the Dobbs decision, didn't like the leaking of Donald Trump's tax returns, but there is a place for leaking. I never liked a lot of the anti Snowden treatment at the same time, I think that some of the information that Snowden made public was a little reckless and put some people's lives in danger, including current operations. Julian Assange largely, I think, did a good thing, but he also did a lot of things that I wouldn't support. So it's a messy situation. I don't think you're ever able to look at a leaker in glowing binary terms. You have to look at it with some nuance. And so you have to start to ask some questions. So here's what we know. This guy's 21 years old, air national guardsmen from Massachusetts. Apparently this information is spread out the 3 million people comes out weekly. It's like a pseudo newsletter apparently. If 3 million people get it, I mean, that's more people than read The New York Times every single day. It's really extraordinary. So 3 million people have access to this briefing. It comes out weekly. This young man 21 years old from Massachusetts decided to take the contents and put it on a Discord server. So you have to ask the question, did the Lee carve someone's immediate life? Did you interfere with a mission that would be moral and necessary for the nation? Did you leak more than you had to? Did you leak for the right reasons? These are the questions that you should ask whenever you come across some of these messy situations of leaks. Because of course, the media, too many Republicans, my goodness, I was just watching television this morning. I was like, my goodness, you've got to be kidding me. Over and over again, they said, this is reprehensible. How dare he do this and at the same time, there's other people that say this man is a patriot is a great thing ever. I mean, maybe there's something in the middle. Maybe it's, he's not a patriot. He's not a villain. And then the other question is, did you do it for the right reasons? And that's where this thing really starts to fall apart honestly.

Now, interestingly, there is a movement gathering at Twitter. Of Twitter employees demanding that they ban Trump. And one Twitter employee says, there's a lot of employee advocacy happening and The Washington Post in the early afternoon of January publishes a letter signed by 300 Twitter employees to Jack Dorsey, demanding that Trump be banned. We must examine Twitter's complicity in what president elect Biden has rightly termed insurrection. So Twitter now begins to look at Trump's tweets. And they conclude,

So the first part of what happens is that is the Trump right after January 6th, tweets out. The 75 million great American patriots who voted for me America first and make America great again will have a giant voice long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form. Wow, whoop do you do? And then Trump goes on to say in a second tweet that he's not going to go to the inauguration. Now, interestingly, there is a movement gathering at Twitter. Of Twitter employees demanding that they ban Trump. And one Twitter employee says, there's a lot of employee advocacy happening and The Washington Post in the early afternoon of January publishes a letter signed by 300 Twitter employees to Jack Dorsey, demanding that Trump be banned. We must examine Twitter's complicity in what president elect Biden has rightly termed insurrection. So Twitter now begins to look at Trump's tweets. And they conclude, he's not violating their rules in any way.

Welcome back to the show. Thanks for joining us. Hey, Dan, thanks for having me back on. Well, I reached out to you this morning because again, there's no more powerful voice out there about some of the malfeasance going on with the FBI and I've been covering this article at the intercept, you're well aware of about these FBI DHS programs to police disinformation. Before we get into the wonky of it, is this even constitutional? I mean, we have a First Amendment, Kyle. It wasn't amended again. I didn't miss a constitutional convention, did I? No, you did not. So there's kind of some interesting pieces to this, because this is a very nuanced topic at this point. When you put something out on social media, it isn't a public sphere. And the expectation of privacy is almost nothing. So everybody should be aware that as they make social media posts, that could go anywhere. We all kind of joke that the government's monitoring what we're saying. The reality of it is the ability exists, whether or not they are. So you're responsible for your own words. That's the way that America has always been. But the problem becomes the sort of reach of the ability of the government to monitor these things and to watch them. And what are the parameters that they're using in order to make that monitoring happen? So if the FBI is looking for every single person who puts maga or ultra maga in their bio, that's probably a big problem. Now we are targeting a subset and there needs to be some sort of predication in order to do that. But if they're looking for people who are talking about pipe bombs and techniques to build them and sharing that sort of information in a very narrow sphere where they believe that there's a threat, then that falls into probably a very appropriate law enforcement realm. So we just there's a really dangerous tipping point and nobody knows where that tipping point is because the technology and the ability is pretty new. Yeah, you make a lot of great points. We're talking a former FBI special agent Kyle seraphin, please follow him on social media. Kyle, you're not wrong. There's obviously an assumption appropriately it's called social media for a reason. It's not a DM, it's not an email. When you post something in the public space, you're doing it because you want the public to see it. So yes, REP reasonable expectation of privacy, something you and I both learned about. Me and Fletcher, you and Quantico. It's like abandoning property outside in your curb and throwing it in the garbage, and then the FBI finds remnants of a pipe bomb. You can't say, well, you guys needed a warrant. No, we actually didn't. You threw it out. Totally understand that. I get it, you're not defending it. But I like that you give the nuance of it. Having said that, I think what you and I are uncomfortable with. And the listening audience is the abridgment of free speech portion clearly prohibited by the First Amendment. It's obvious you haven't been in former FBI agent with a gun in a shield and a commission book that if you are emailing Twitter and even winking and nodding like, hey, this account's saying some stuff we really don't like whether criminal or not, that you're not speaking as Kyle seraphin, you're speaking as former FBI agent Kyle seraphin. That's a whole different ball game. That's right. So I kind of drew this little this path. And the government is famous for mission creek. That's the military term for it. It's always looking for that reason to have funding and to exist. Some people remember that the ATF almost got disbanded in the 90s and they went out and found a mission set and they joined the Department of Justice. They haven't always been a DoJ entity. And all government agencies sort of have that instinct. It's just people want to keep their job and they want to justify what they're doing. So the first thing that this sort of this process, it happened in 2016 and I think Trump broke a lot of people's minds when he was elected, so they started looking for information. This information from a foreign entity. And so that's part one. But it leads you to advocacy of that position and that it shouldn't exist and that we should do something about it because people in the government, they need to first gather information, but then they need to advocate. And so that leads to research to justify the budget, and that advocacy eventually leads to trying to quell the quote unquote threats that they find, and then they have to maintain their appearance. They have to improve their work, so they need metrics to be able to measure it. And so this entity just grows out of control from a not a terrible idea, which is to see what is the exposure that we have to foreign this information. And suddenly we realize now they're looking at domestic information. And so that's really where that dangerous creep happens. And in this intercept piece, which I'm going to read in detail after I'm done with you we're talking a former FBI agent Kyle serving an American patriot. There's a section of this piece where apparently one of the FBI agents who spoke to the intercept indicated that they were pulled off a joint terrorism task force assignment investigating Al-Qaeda and Islamic State and put on domestic terrorism cases to investigate Americans. When you did the sit down interview with me, you clearly indicated that this is one of the biggest problems you had and why you were speaking out. This isn't cost free, Kyle. Us taking

words While it's true and this book is fantastic And I think you know people always say we need people who will give younger people an example and some people who are lost and upset and frustrated what's going on Tell us why you wrote this book It's a book about stories that I hope will tell a much larger story Some people have referred to it as an autobiography It is not autobiographies I think are mostly very stuffy And Barack Obama wrote too by the age of 50 This is not a book that I want to be known as biography Some people call it a memoir I don't like that term either because that too is stopping No This is a book That's designed to defeat the cliche that is the sounds too good to be true It is too good to be true In fact every single story in here is true It's going to take you to a world You never knew existed But there's the point It's an I hope the reader will see it as aspirational because it's a world that could be again There's an organization out there with a lovely title called toward tradition And that if I were writing a book with their carry that title it is aspirational toward a world where all the goals of ours can be could be lived A world of true freedom A world in my case living the Catholic faith A world living digital Christian culture world that where there can be true happiness a world where you transcend politics This is the perfect time I think for although I've been writing this book for years This is a perfect time to release it because I think especially at this Christmas season we can all take a little break and read something that I believe the reader will fund to be truly enjoyable Just listening to you broadly describe it It takes me to a better place You know people oh the 50s Oh yeah The really I mean you didn't have abortion like you have You didn't have murder like you have I understand there was discrimination in other things No country is perfect The country's not perfect But it is the most perfect among countries And you think about the opportunities and so forth you do think about these positive things a little bit of Norman Rockwell which of course you're not allowed to think about anymore That is where your book took me Is that where you intend to take us Yeah yeah And my course was in a different way of arriving at that goal I was raised one of ten children in a very strong Catholic family In 1961 my father took Ben 8 of us to Spain I was there as toddler Just imagine living in a world where you don't have supermarkets or you don't have homogenized milk where you didn't have telephones You think well that's just a terrible place to live in It was a very different world a different place In a real way much saner world than we have today When I was a freshman in high school my father challenged my older brother and meme who he was always telling us to do things in a stronger more challenging way He called us any challenge to us that if we wanted to we could return to Spain the two of us to finish our high school but he was the condition And just think about in this world today This could be possible The two of us would be sent to another country in another continent to go to school in a different language to be given a $160 a month for the two of us to pay for an apartment to pay for everything And I mean everything in our lives and take full responsibility for our lives I 14 he 16 And we did it There was no fallback position We had to sink or swim and we learned how to swim doing that And here my parents are on the other side of the ocean fully confidence that we will be taking care of because we're living in the culture where your fellow man took care of you So if anything be fellas the world would take care of us Think about this mark Just in vision it is insanity to date conceive of this But at age 16 deciding that you are going to hitchhike from Madrid to Rome with $5 in your pockets You haven't told anybody except for a brother who's in Madrid and some people you're going to meet in Rome You have no communications There are no phones no Internet no smartphones All.

I mean, you know, the Pfizer vaccine is now fully approved. Those of us who did the right thing and got vaccinated are sick and tired of living half a life because of the cove idiots out there who refused to get vaccinated. Um, yeah, In my opinion, assigned to let them stand on the outside of society looking in rather than the rest of us, you know, no shoes, no shirt, no passport, no service. California and New York have created their own certificates of vaccination that could be used as passports. Clear the company that speeds you through airports based on biometrics, like your fingerprint. They're offering a, uh, a covid passport. I have one with them. In fact, they're and they're offering a free version. If you're not a subscriber to clear, But the most interesting part of this is that the Centers for Disease Control. The CDC has this program called the Safe. Just plug it into a search engine. The dash s a F E V safe. And it is everything except the app. You plug in your your your personal information a little bit of your person, you know enough that they can tie you to the database in your stage. Because our states do actually keep track of who is vaccinated and who isn't or at least who is vaccinated. And it pulls that data in and puts it in the app and and creates a little picture. I've got the picture on my phone. Of your basically vaccine passport. This is the Centers for Disease Control. Vaccine passports are not new things back in 1979. I got the first one. You know the first my first real vaccine passport. It was a yellow card. And it was there and I had to go to a special doctor because I was traveling in parts of the world where there's diseases that we don't have here. You know, Dougie fever and stuff like that. And I had to be a yellow fever. Cholera. I had to be vaccinated against this stuff. And They the special tropical disease Doctors specializes and, you know, setting people up getting people ready to travel overseas after I got these vaccines, which was one of them, just like turned my arm black and and made me feel like sick as a dog for a couple of days, But, you know, Hey, It's you know the diseases and in some of these parts of the world are just absolutely worse than the vaccine. And for she's the better part of 20 years, right up until the late eighties. I carried that yellow passport, the vaccine passport inside my regular passport. I didn't have to just show it to get out of the country had to show it to get back into the country. So you know, this is nothing new. We've been doing this in our schools for 40 years. We want to go to school. Show your vaccine status. If you really want to own the cons, we should you know, the CDC could create a vaccine passport with a picture on it. And we could designate that as I need to vote with. How about that? Anyhow, IATA is doing this. The International Transport Association. They're coming up with one. IBM is going up with one Israel has rolled one out. Denmark has rolled one out France's rolled one out now the United Kingdom. I mean, doesn't people say Oh, But what about my freedom? Well, what about my freedom Not to die. What about my freedom to go to a restaurant or a bar or a public venue and not worry that the person next to me is blowing a billion viruses a minute at me? Mean freedom is such a misused word. Shouldn't we have the freedom to remain free of illness? That's why I think we should call these things. Freedom passports. I mean, it's really bizarre when you think you know legislators in Texas and Arkansas. Have come right out and said that a woman who wants to get an abortion a gets an abortion. Should face the death penalty or at least light at least life in prison. You know, because of death. And yet they want People to be able to blow a deadly disease in your face because they've joined the anti mask anti vax Trump called I mean, maybe we should call him right to life. Passports. What do you think? Anyway. The main international objection to passports is that it's going to widen the divide between the haves and the have nots. This in this case, you know, there's about a billion people on Planet Earth who have no idea whatsoever well, vaccine passport could be their their entree into the world of having some sort of identification. We did this back in the eighties was smoking in restaurants. I'd rather eat without having you blow your poisonous smoke in my face. Why can't we say I'd rather eat? So the negotiations evidently Entailed the the fact that the couple international airport would remain open and that international conventions would be recognized and that diplomatic law would be recognized by the taliban and and the taliban claim that they said. Yeah of course you. You know you guys can have embassies well any anyone who wants to embassy. You can have an embassy though thing. Well that involves for in the united states. The the us said well. We're gonna have guards. We're going to have a big embassy. We're going to have six hundred fifty to seven hundred effectively. An infantry battalion between kabul international airport and the embassy and the taliban said no no foreign troops and then they apparently they came around and said okay but you can call them embassy in airport guards or whatever and they agreed to have the nato partner. Turkey lead the security detail kabul international airport. Apparently that is our our in afghanistan. These security situation is absolutely deteriorating. Because the the more afghan national army outfits that the taliban interacting with the more surrendering and the president said something on farai day on thursday. No one for your thursday. Just patently false. I don't have the clip. But i have the transcript. They don't as he was walking away and he gave his We're ending america's longest war but we'll always honor. What's the story of the Olympics this year? What was the story of the Olympics before then? What compelling reason is there for me to watch this? Because Based on what I've seen a whole bunch of these people who are grifting of being Olympians don't even like the country. That's right. Gwen Barry. Yeah, it's okay. You're entitled to bad viewing choices. It's fine. Nothing for I don't It's It's whatever I mean. It's kind of funny because when you watch the Olympics, you are watching to root for your country to win, But I always notices for myself whenever I get kind of watching a track and field event. And you saying Ball was in it, and it came down to him of the U. S. A guy comes in for the for the court to God and I I'm looking in. Uh, I'm trying to figure out if he's participating this year. Now, he says he's running in the 800 event, but he's still retired. So that's that, to be honest. I'll probably watch the basketball, uh, might watch some golf. But if he's not running, I don't really have much interest in anything else. And I think it really tells how the athletes actually view the Olympics now because you're seeing a lot of athletes in various sports. Obviously, the basketball ones are the most notable because that's is a sport gets the most attention but a bevy of sports people the top of that sport, just say I'm not going to Olympics this year, So it's not a big deal to the athletes. And why should it be for me? Well, well, I like the Winter Olympics. I You know, I like the flying to NATO, uh, Shaun White, and I think, though I think I watched that the summer Olympics. I don't know you know you had you had swimming you had. What's his face? Uh, Michael Michael Phelps. I mean, that was kind of fun. I like watching. I like watching that That's kind of the but that's the last. I mean, that's kind of then you had the gym, NIST. What was her name? The mom. Bile? Yes. Yes. Thank you. You tell him a big Olympic fan You bring like Mary Lou Rhett. He had that one guy that that road What was his name? Uh, Larry, Larry. That's right. So the the in 2014 this, according to CNBC, uh NBC and the International Olympic Committee agreed to a $7.75 billion media rights deal, which runs through 30 32, So there's a huge amount of cash. On the line to just get this on television, and that's what you saw last year with baseball or basketball football for most of the season was we're getting these games on TV because there's so much money wrapped up in the television rights deal. But, gosh darn it. I mean, the Olympics seemed like one of those sports where the crowd is A Yeah, part of what you're watching huge. And you have all the sponsors that yesterday. I kind of saw the writing on the wall because the sponsors pulled out of Tokyo. They said, We're not even gonna go anymore because we're getting rumors hearing rumors that they're not gonna let Spectators in and so The sponsors even recognize that the Spectators play a huge part of the Olympics, and so you you keep them out. It's it really is gonna It's really gonna hurt the Olympics. Well, I think another part of like, especially the lack of interest for me is The lack of superstars because we just talked about it for gymnastics. I don't think Biles is participating. LeBron's not playing in the basketball. Phelps isn't in it, and I just read bolts not participate. So that's four of the biggest names in Olympic sports history that are not participating. What about what about the guy that didn't have any legs? Is he going to participate in that? Remember that guy from South Africa with the guy that killed his wife, Austin.
