"That. She's gone all the way over to the gang to the Mafia or whatever to the dark side almost yeah I was trying to avoid saying that you're right. She almost represents kind of a character tight more more than actual fleshed out character compared to a lot of what there is in the movie but considering I made it through like three episodes game of thrones in checked out. I still find Amelia Clark like a really like she has a really good presence to her. She feels very natural in a way that I didn't like daisy released fine. I didn't particularly care for Felicity Jones performance in rogue one. I feel like out of the young white British girls that they keep casting in these feel like she's the one that I enjoy the most as the presence but yeah they don't give her as much to everyone else really him a watch game of thrones so I only know her from this in Terminator Genesis where she doesn't have a presence really yeah. I didn't mind her in that but I feel like I'm probably in apologised for that movie so that's one that's hard to defend when the new trailer came out which I haven't watched I was just like I don't remember the last movie very much at all. I guess what it didn't happen again L. K. thanks 'cause now. Sarah Connor is alive again spoiler okay. I didn't realize that she died yeah and they announced it in the third one. Oh yeah that's what they're keeping the guns in her like fake casket. Why do I remember this leukemia?.

"Connor was better the other game of thrones lady what's her name sir sealand lena headey lee who's also his great but you're also following linda ham stuff i will defend amelia clark in this movie because okay now i think she's she's yeah what i think is fine about that is we're bridging the gap from the prequels yes into the ot and in the prequels noone acted like an actual human being so it's kind of like if you now i feel like if you watch the prequel trilogy and then han solo star wars story and then into the t kind of just like okay yeah people are starting to become people slowly snow alexey learn what emotions was those intervening years right before when the space seventies hit and everyone who stood what emotions xactly but it's kind of crazy though because like i mean all right like different all the narran reich's performance sure i guess we different amelia clark a little bit here but like clark specifically like you're surrounded by charismatic performance woody harrelson donald glover tandy newton phoebe waller bridge dune the l three droid emf is fucking junius whatever do plan to baca like these pledge you baca before yeah this is not as outing shoebox with this is like a little more stretching those big banks and he's killed and even as juba you got john fabbro as the little the the voice of the little guy clark ones up being the most interesting character in the movie interesting character i literally the the twist at the end is like it's all about her and her character and when she's all the dirty shits she's gone through and stuff like that and like what is her real side and what's real face and like all of that fall flat because the before ounces and very good and hathaway in the dark knight rises like where she can turn on a dime like that's what you need in this.

"I can't see what's on the screen both times i see when we're on carelli it's too damned dark on the second time i did get to see they go through shipyard where they're building a star destroyer and that was a little bit cool seeing the parts of at scattered around but i can't see i don't know who's chasing who in for why i'm the first time i watched this grip in with fingernails to follow the story all i know is they're setting up han was a thief he's got this girlfriend kira it's amelia clark she's a brunette now i get their relationship for some very passionate closed mouth kisses where look like they're just smashing faces together and they're on the run together and i like this i knew from the trailer she would not go with him and then yeah i think they just end up going to customs right or you know immigration to go in and out of the country tsa someone's at a checkpoint i think part of the problem is is ron howard do action because lucas pod race in episode one's pretty exciting and here we get a chase and it's just not very exciting in this terminal i agree with you guys things are choppy i don't think i can't see things because of the visual look of the film it's because of the editing and sometimes they just don't have coverage what i'm weirded out about what i think they're trying to convey is that the empire is really brutal to everyday people that we see families being ripped apart here they can be very draconian about who gets to go beyond the borders of what they control i wish we had more time to let that breathe and my guess is that wasn't a concern at all for the original filmmakers they were trying to make jokes they were trying to make it funny why would you stop and have these dramatic emotional moments and so consequently they're not setting up what needs to be set up here which is that the empire's bad and these two need to get out from under it but the empires barely going to be a presence in this movie and yet they're random acts of cruelty here where they're just pulling children away from parents for no discernible reason whatsoever i honestly think it's supposed to evoke meme.

"Really analyzed it as a fan but of course when i was thrown into directing it it came very clear to me and not every star wars film sports the same tone i mean this movie it's not a war movie and it doesn't have the religion of the force in it because it's precedes on exposure to all of that but it does have this in common with the other movies it's swashbuckling and the the movement in the action has to have that kind of flare there's humor wherever possible but it's not jokey it's life and death with star wars jj abrams tip me off to this in fact he said that he believed that every decision they make is a life or death one and they have to take it seriously i agreed with that and then there are these themes in this case it's not political exactly except there is this oppression the they're living in this lawless corner of the galaxy and linehan solo is sort of struggling for his freedom as a young man would you know of with that kind of spirit and recklessness but there are other characters going through a similar kind of challenge in their lives and that's relatable on a human level so with star wars what's interesting is that all of these entertainment values are generally pressed together it's a little bit like three dimensional chess when you're directing it and when i worked for george lucas doing willow he used to talk about simultaneity in storytelling again simultaneity snow too would even if george lucas well he invented it and coined it then but it does sort of describe a certain kind of storytelling whether it's just a lot going on all at once and i think we that's why we go see him more than once because there's density of the way the way story entertainment didn't judge lucas visit the set i think he did he did he came to visit the first day that i was shooting and it was a two person seen it was between amelia clark kira and alden ehrenreich on solo and it was kind of a fun sparky sort of romantic sexy funny scene and in it she's sort of holding this one of lando cal close.
