To roman a hint of vince having some level of dissension with how romans carrying himself or his attitude or perceived attitude. By vincent man. I saw it. Seen it just trying to appeal to hardcore fans with insider talk kind of rolled my eyes at it. Whatever that is. It's intriguing and we'll start to get more ideas of where this is going to go. And how ready rains is because sina was way more ready for the rock than almost anybody gave him credit for when they went into their war of words and now i'm wondering does range think i'm going to show that i'm way more ready to do it out with seen on the microphone over the next few weeks than people think i'm ready for. Well you have a small move set by design when you're supposed to be a major major star whose moves all have impact Perhaps i'm off the rails there. But i'm excited for this. Two and a handful of years ago i would never ever ever said that about this match but this is this is i think a great way to sell summer slam tony storm. What's her upside on the main roster and are there early signs. She's going to be used better than she was annexed on this last night. I think she was used perfectly annex t because she's not that great and doesn't have a very high ceiling she's okay in the ring. She's kind of okay on the mike. She's kind of a character like she has a look but it was never really clearly defined. What she was she. She's just not a obviously internally. There are people who really really like her but on the podcast makes a little more tempered because he he kind of likes everything and that's why we love having him there because he keeps. It keeps it fun when tom. I get too dark But she's just she's not really a generational talent or anything be more successful because she's got a lot of she's got some flash but she's not really interesting in ring i don't know i just don't think her ceilings that high but if they're going to get anything out of her. I'm on board with doing it sooner than later. Because she could be defined down and forgotten very very fast shot sea and knocks your your thoughts on that for people who are sure what to expect. I was i. It took seconds for them to introduce to be mad about shots name teague inox is a decent name and they both were made much worse. Shots he is. Okay it still sounds kinda cool. Knox yourself to our Interesting so shotsie is a good baby face and has really good baby face. Instincts in the ring Her her matches are pure baby. Face stuff and and as a lie. Say sammy's zine style. Even though he's been playing he'll for so long but as a perfect underdog who will scrap her way to the championship. i think she's She's okay she gets to the point of being amber moon hat this as a tag team but and by the end you're like are they faces because i kinda hate him But she's very very good she brings. I saw a larger amount of improvement in shotsie in a smaller amount of time than almost anybody on annex t ever other than maybe rea- ripley Teagan knocks it's so hard to say every time. It seemed like she was moving up the card and doing something more interesting. She got hurt. She just had really really badly timed injuries. Her last one was the worst because she had finally become kind of a centerpiece of the division. She had a really good feud going with candace laurey that they were not able to pay off and then they teased at that they were going to pay it off at Takeover and of course t. aided and brought to raw. I don't think the fact that their names are shots knocks doesn't any favors but But i think they'll be fine. And i think as a team they've got a high high ceiling as singles shots is relatively high maybe mid high and and teagan. I'm gonna wait and see because we haven't. I don't think we've still seen the height of what teagan can do. Because every time she kicked it into another gear. The injury by gut. Tour r kelly Thank you We covered a lot. Anything else you wanna bring up. Actually before we wrap up here feels like a covered most of it i. I watched the the wonderful new japan. Show the wrestle grand slam Yeah I won't linger on that but five matches all of them damn near perfect you can just give them the do japan rumble beforehand It was perfunctory and silly silly. As being nice it was. It was bad The five matches after that. We're all wonderful and And you should check them out if you can i watched. Msw's battle riot. It's right now. It was interesting. I i actually watched those on the same day. So i watched to rumble matches on the same day Battle riot forty man rumble and actually. They didn't eliminate anyone until number. Nineteen so we got to be really really messy in there and there was really no storytelling flow. But by the end the got to somewhere semi interesting and looking at their roster of young talent. It actually gave me a lot to be excited about about the state of wrestling. And i think And i think you listeners should check out battle riot also On youtube because that also was a fun. "Would be go away. Go after you've had a hall for dinner There was a weird moment at the beginning of the show. We had Dakota kyw beat ember moon. Which is fine and i felt i felt bad because i like amber moon but i just like i just feel like i have no connection to her as a performer. Does nothing that makes me. Sit on the edge of my seat or care whether she wins or loses and but objectively like she seems like a great person and this is not a like. There's no. I have no criticism. It's just me as a fan. I like look at it i go. Why don't why. Can't i connect i take it upon myself. I don't put it on her. She's working rats off out there. Yes she's one of the best like wrestlers like when they signed her. Everyone was like. Oh holy shit athena's coming over like one of the best wrestlers that's working and i don't know if it's that she's not getting enough time to talk. I mean because a lot of what people know about her now is like all of her gaming stuff which is great and you know she comes out on mortal combat but they haven't really done anything like woods is the gaming guy but he also has a personality aside from being the gaming guy. The same thing with like You know Prince pretty and like a bunch of other those dudes who do the gaming stuff they also have personalities beyond that and i feel like with amber moon they kind of lake rest on the fact that you're probably watching this other stuff and to me that's just always a bad idea and then for a while they kind of rested on the fact that it's like well you like shots and you like the tank still. I did like those six. Yep we do those things so we're gonna put you together with with someone else. Because i do think that can be very charismatic. I just don't think there's been. I think lindsey. I don't remember if that was you when we did the show a couple of weeks ago. Who were you mentioned that. There's just such a disconnect between her personality and her work in rang. But i think that's how but i agree might have been have -pletely as they just feels like it's the same right. I really like her. I'm excited i. She's gonna come to the ring. I i want her to do well but if she doesn't i don't care and that's not right so if all this goodwill towards her like why can't they connect it and i don't know if she needs a character refresh. Is she withholding something. She feels like she's holding back lake. There's something of her that she's not giving or that. She's not communicating and that's as much on them missouri because obviously like character has been developed with creative. I just wonder if it's time for her angry to camera. Promo is it time for embezzling. Yeah no fuck this. Like i worked so fucking hard. I'm doing everything. Like what more does it take. What can it be. I'm sick of being this. I'm just going to be me now. And i'm just gonna come out and do what i do and i don't care like you know i i. I think something needs to happen. There needs to be a watershed moment for her west. Something shifts maybe give her a wolf. You know they do them both a wolf. That can work back and work. I don't know based on what i've seen that she has that promo in her yet. Because the crew to to have that promo it feels like you need the audience to be very invested in you one way or the other either they cheer all the time and then you turn on them and you turned heel for whatever your reason as you cut the price then or your baby face who gets booed all the time and you get to take some of the frustration that no doubt you have as a performer. That hey i'm doing all the right things and you're still rejecting me. Now i reject you. Yeah i just signed for a change something to happen. You're performing in front of folded arms all the time that then there's no you have no basis. Yes then it feels like you throwing stuff at the and i hope that people. I don't think she gets no reaction from what i'm observing. I don't see a very strong reaction one way or the other. But i also think there's plenty of time she is young. She has all the talent in the world. It will happen. it's just. I get frustrated as a fan that i'm not connecting and that's a me thing like i really want to anything. We all feel that same way. I didn't thing like no one. I don't think anyone would say like. Oh i don't like i think everyone would be like. Oh i really liked her like she's i really like her but while the goodwill is still there it needs to be capitalized on in some way and just sticking his shotsie or like you know trying to pair with someone else. I don't know if that's the way to do it. I think she probably needs to revisit. The she's such an enthusiastic. Happy person when you see outside of the ring. And i'm like can we see some of that. Maybe like i don't even do that and still be a stone cold killer because she is when they let her be dominant in that ring she murders peo- i mean she the most fun move. It's like oh that would rip your head off in. You would die. And i enjoy that. I want good things for her. I only want good things for her. But right now yeah. I'm just like oh. By the weird moment that i was thinking about was that at the end of the match when xilai came into the ring and issued a challenge for the title but nobody was miked seemed. It's sort of here like the you could. You could hear like the highlight the knew what was going on but also for the the people who were there or whoever was observing. You couldn't really tell what like that. Felt like that should have been a bigger moment. A lot of it played out. Great her walking right past dakota like there. It was a layered really good moment. That would've made it would have been made even better with a microphone. I feel like the two things that you need for. A wrestling show are ringing a mike And got and and obviously wrestlers. But you know they got the one Have gotten the other class. They're so closely there We did have a debut on the next which is mandy rose was re debut. She's already there. We had a return. Yeah there too. I think like a lot of there's some people who are better for the main roster and fit more with personalities there and then there are others who maybe they. I don't know if it's a personality thing necessarily a wrestling thing. But maybe it's both like amber moon has the wrestling skills to be able to teach others and help them level up to that like i'll say at takeover level match a main roster level main events or even level match. Because she's just that good. And i think that next probably a much better place for her and you know if one of the call ups from an x t this week which i'm actually really happy about is any indication like we could see ember called up again at some point whether that's in a year in five years whatever it might be. But she's gonna she is she's good for she is right now. Yeah i think she has. I think they're still trying to find a character for her I hate that. They took her music from her. Like all this for like the past two seasons. But i hate that. They've been taking everybody's music from them so that they can get from under. Cfo's original music. And i don't i i really wanna know if they have like an end like it doesn't feel like their current music situation is like a cfo's or like a. Jim johnston like it. It feels like it's all muzak to me like legit. I like it. I liked him. A lot of the new stuff is just muzak. I'll tell you though. Because i like i kind of lake. Embers aim song before was amazing kind of like theme song now and then like i noticed. Dana brooke has a new theme song. That's kind of like. Of course they both can legit go in in the ring. But so we get a dakota kyw win but like it. None of it matters. We're getting back to take over being special. And i felt that strongly on this show. You know. I thought that opening up. And i talked about it a little bit on the pre show and that's true how i felt about it that the winner take all six men while i would have loved llegado to take it as a fan because i love i mean i love guided el fantasma and yeah escobar is my favorite my favorite guy next season. My favorite so. He's the best. But i think a watching that you go. There's this concern you know when you got guys like to moscow champa and gone. Oh and kyle o'reilly adam cole. And guys that have been an annex t for a while you're going is next. He evolving as quickly as it used to. Is he going to continue to have the turnaround did they have become known to have. The answer is yes because when you look at that opening match that's the tag championship and the north american championship. And everyone in match has only become a major star. Next t in the last year so bronson read had just broke through. Bronson read was one of those guys where always going to be on takeover. That's going to be an interesting experiment.
