Amber Athey: Garland Acts Differently With Attacks on Conservatives

"Let's start off with this one I'm sure you saw it Attorney general Garland who amber as you know can jump to a conclusion like no human being in politics I mean he was sent a letter about parents being domestic terrorists and school board meetings and obvious logic leap that made no sense whatsoever yet There was a special category created at the FBI according to whistleblowers to go out and investigate those parents before any good investigation was done So he was asked and let me play the clip before you came on about a potential motive for this tragic shooting in Nashville by an alleged transgender attacker there and he didn't seem to know he wants to take his time and gather the evidence I'm okay with that That's fine with me but he doesn't seem to ever want to do that when it involves conservatives out there and they're the targets You notice that Yeah no isn't it incredible how whenever it's a politically inconvenient tragedy for the left they talk about how we'll never really know the motive I mean that was what they said After the baseball shooting and Alexandria when Republicans members were practicing for the baseball game to some radical last we may act who was a Bernie Sanders supporter tried to kill a bunch of them the FBI came out and said we may never know We may never know why he did it even though he had a literal hit list They do this when they come to a radical Islamic terrorism They do it now in the response to this transgender person targeting a Christian school But in every other shooting or every other tragedy it's always about white men or about the radical white domestic terrorists It's really amazing the cognitive dissonance they have when it comes to how they cover certain shootings

"I'm not a huge fan of Jonah Goldberg You stay out of that or anything But he had a really great column though I'm pretty sure it was his I think it was that hot air I don't remember I always screw up where it's from But the columns 8 years old maybe 7 8 years old And he made a really great point about why the left just never wins on this argument about taking away people's guns As a matter of fact amber as you well know not only that I'm winning they're getting just destroyed constitutional carries taking over large swaths of America right now The gun argument is a big huge cultural loss for the left And monster loss right Which is one of few areas you've been successful But Goldberg's premise in peace is that you know the war against smoking worked really well because everybody knew a smoker So you knew how to talk to that person you know Mom dad don't smoke it does this and that you know what would kind of ring their bell But the Democrats don't talk to gun owners like that The first words out of their mouth these Jamal Bowman screaming at you that you want kids to die more death As if that's gonna win any way leave an impression like oh yeah I want to talk and negotiate with this guy over my right to defend my family They just don't know how to talk to us and that's why they just continue to get wrecked That's definitely a huge part of it And by the way this is also the same party that would gladly take away all of our rights not just our gun rights if they had the opportunity They talk about Australia and New Zealand well guess what happened and Australia and New Zealand when people didn't take the vaccine They were literally routed up and put in camps Yes Yes Yes Which was called the conspiracy theory right And everybody was called the crazy conspiracy theorists All they loved every second of it Same thing in Canada We were told that's not going to happen in representative democracies You're not going to have protesters locked up in their money confiscated and thrown in jail No that actually happened That actually happened

"What's even harder to take is you get people like Jamal Bowman up on Capitol Hill screaming and performing for the camera's at Tom Massey who stopped their respectfully talked to him And his solution is what To Paul guns and out of schools where kids would at least stand a fighting chance I didn't pick the world we live in amber It picked us Our culture's rotting kids don't go to church anymore They're staring at screens all day We have parents leaving the home I didn't pick this world They picked us okay And our kids need to stand the fighting chance That's the only thing that's going to stop one of these armed gunmen is another good guy with a gun or at least slow them down That's it Well we already know based on what the police have told us that this individual changed target Apparently they were looking at another Christian school at first and then changed their mind because the security at that school was too tough And they didn't think they'd be able to carry out the attack The way that they intended I mean that tells you everything you need to know right there And look guns have been intertwined with American society since its inception We use firearms to win our independence right But these mass school shootings have only become commonplace in the last couple of decades And so we have to take a really deep look at ourselves and ask what has changed because the guns have not changed and the reality is we have 400 million firearms in this country It's guns are really the problem don't you think we'd all be dead by now

"And then you say to them give me one example where gun controls actually work What are they going to come back with every time Australia it was super successful To which I always say to them really you can go on your phone right now and just put this article in Australia institute more guns now than before the gun ban after Port Arthur And the argument makes no sense There are more guns now So if you're saying there are less mass shootings then you're saying more guns equal less mass shootings I mean they don't they don't even know what they're talking about They have zero clue I was in The White House briefing room yesterday with Korea Jean Pierre And of course the literal the little liberal drones who are always on script asked Kareem about the president's gun control agenda And he went on this long rant about banning assault weapons and to the reporters credit he actually said semi-automatic firearms as opposed to assault weapons because I guess they kind of figured out at this point that that's a useless just propaganda term but Korea Jean Pierre which is traveling on about how the president is committed to the agenda of getting rid of these assault weapons and she also used that old tired phrase What did the war an AR-15 is the most popular semi-automatic rifle in the United States The only reason that it's popped up more often in these school shootings is because there's just so many of them They're basically ubiquitous It's just the fact that they focus on a gun that's no different than a Glock essentially in the way that it operates so absurd

Amber Athey: Media Finds Ways to Make Trans People the Victims

"The same people claiming like I don't know man what was the motive who can't seem to figure it out Are now saying to people like you and I am and by the way we're not capable of figuring out what happened But you definitely need to surrender your guns too But I didn't do anything wrong Doesn't matter Hand them over and you become the next victim Yeah exactly right Somehow it always comes down to disarming American citizens who have done nothing wrong The other incredible way that the media has covered this shooting is the fact that they have somehow still made trans people out to be the real victims right So you had news outlets talking about how this was going to spark an unfair backlash against the trans community president Joe Biden sent out a statement today for the so called trans day of visibility which I've literally never heard of until this morning Talking about how conservatives are hurting and terrifying trans children by trying to prevent them from going through genital mutilation and it's actually very parallel with the same way that they talked about radical Islamic terrorism which was always that the real victims were the Muslim community which was going to come under attack because we wanted to ascertain what in their ideology could potentially be driving these people to commit these radical acts So they really just twist themselves in a pretzel to try to figure out some way to turn the aggressors into the victim

"So Jim and I were commenting on that signature bank video that's now sadly gone viral one of the banks that went under this weekend where a I don't know a diversity guy or whatever is in there and he's talking about preferred pronouns jeez I don't even know what they are I am Jim said I have to ask you about this And you'd be so good to comment on issues like this This really is a war on kind of common sense and language I mean if I don't understand your rules of language and language doesn't have a point if I say hey amber come on my show with two and two do you means four because you made up your own language that we're never going to connect on the show Isn't that the purpose of language Am I missing something No you're a 100% correct And the words that we use affects how we think right It changes the way that we view the world And I think what really underrated part of the pronoun nonsense is about is about seeing how much they can control people because if they can get you to say something that insane what can they not get you to say

"When I was there guest hosting one time I'll never forget being there in the morning I don't know I think Brian Wilson was there whatever at the time This is a while ago And the story came over you know it's a morning you know how this morning so you barely like awake I mean you get up at like two in the morning or whatever And this story came over and it said something to the effect of I remember like it was yesterday This leftist activist group is just declared the term and I don't remember which one it was I'm being candidly gay or homosexual It's offensive You're going to use one I don't remember which one was supposed to be the offensive one And I thought to myself because I forgot the story halfway through the segment we were doing which word it was and I thought isn't that the point The left you just said It's a really don't care It's not even about the word It's a way to control you It's a way to say no no no We've arbitrarily decided this is how you're going to speak about LGBTQ members of the community And if you don't use our language instead of your language then we're going to declare you a bigot and we're going to make you persona non grad I mean that is that's power right there That's exactly what that is And I mean I remember growing up the term queer was a slur against gay people and now it's actually part of their alphabet LGBTQ They describe themselves And it's like a point of pride And you don't even have to actually be gay to consider yourself clear You can be like a girl who likes to wear overalls and cut your hair short And you can say that you're queer and you immediately become part of this victim class that really is one of the most powerful groups in society because again they're controlling the language they're controlling what is culturally acceptable They're controlling the ability of people to engage in polite society You know they have to go along with all of the rules otherwise they get canceled or they get destroyed So it's really fascinating to watch

"So this is how sick it is on the left taking the side of accused child rapists now But amber these were lost students Can you imagine you or I I mean everybody knows on social media you and I are conservatives This is not hard to find Can you imagine you and I in a civil dispute in front of one of these Stanford law students who God forbid winds up as a state or federal judge You have zero chance of winning I'm so glad you brought this up Dan because this is entirely the premise of my upcoming book the snowflakes are available for pre order now And wait what's the title The snowflakes revolt The snowflakes revolt folks pick it up pre order today the snowflakes revolt amber ati Want to make sure we got that out Okay go ahead sorry Thank you Well the whole premise of the book is that conservatives got it completely wrong when we said that the snowflake campus cry boys were going to get to the real world and they were going to have to adapt or die They were going to not have all of their ridiculous toxic political ideologies catered to The opposite happened they went into society and they actually have infiltrated and seized power at major American institutions And the fact that this is happening at one of the most prestigious law schools is a perfect demonstration of the point because these people are going to get prestigious clerkship They're going to become judges themselves They are going to have massive influence on our criminal justice system And yet Stanford is putting up with the idea that they are allowed to shut down speakers that they're allowed to reject freedom of speech freedom of association they are creating a class of individuals who are going to go out into the world and treat people unfairly because of their political affiliation And that is completely opposite of what any good lawyer or judge should be doing

Amber Athey: Biden Admin Is Nationalizing the Banking System

"Nationalizing of the banking system this week It's only the biggest story I've seen since the financial crisis and the Great Recession And although yeah it's on the news no doubt I'm actually surprised how many people even in our space the conservative content space I haven't seen Biden effectively nationalize the banks this week He said listen if I declare your bank systemically important we're going to pay out the depositors and just take over and the story isn't really as big as you get my point I'm probably not saying about we're not really making a big deal out of this like I think we should be Yeah I think you're right And maybe the topic is too confusing for people who maybe don't have financial backgrounds but it is hugely important I mean this is something that affects every single person who has money in a bank because what the Biden administration has essentially said is that we're going to arbitrarily ignore whatever the FDIC insurance limits are We're going to ignore whatever regulations we've put in place so long as we think that the banks is worthy of protection where the venture capitalists who are investing in it are worthy of protection And it's come out that Gavin Newsom the California governor who was praising Biden for their decision to do this bailout without telling people that he had private wineries that he owns as some of the bank's clients So he was directly benefiting from making sure that his assets were secure and I'd imagine that there are a lot of other politicians and lobbyists who need to be looked into to see what they stood to benefit from this complete rejection of every banking system rule that we've put into place over the past few decades

"NASA released a new image from the James Webb Space Telescope, the telescope is captured the rare and fleeting phase of a star. The light from that star has been traveling through space for about 15,000 years. NASA's amber strong says the material seen around the wolf rayet star that looks like dust is dust. The star is dying. But the end of a star's life, they shed their outer material. Their outer layers out into the rest of the universe. Shimmering in purple like a cherry blossom, the star may be dying, but the dust will live on. Spreading out into the cosmos and will eventually create planets. And this is how we got here, in fact. NASA says this star in the constellation Sagittarius is 30 times as massive as our sun and already has shed enough material to account for ten suns. I'm Ed Donahue

How the Snowflakes Took Over Media With Amber Athey

"Athlete joins us now amber, welcome to the program. Thanks for having me, Charlie. Amber, make the argument how did woke millennials hijack American media? I think the premise of this book is really that conservatives got it so wrong about 5 years ago when we looked at the craziness that was happening on college campuses and we said these snowflakes are going to enter the real world and they'll just melt because they're not going to be able to hack it. Their employers aren't going to give them safe spaces or trigger warnings. And they're going to have to learn to adapt or die. Well, what happened instead is that it turns out much of the American corporate space in particular the mainstream media were both sympathetic to these college students and also totally unprepared for the onslaught that was going to come to their doorsteps and these so called snowflakes entered the real world and have used the same campus tactics, mob tactics, public shaming, internal revolts, and overall cancellation attempts to completely rest power from the institutions that they've now taken over and they've influenced the media in such a way that the reporting that we see is further left than ever before.

"Della meda continues with us so kalen, can you just explain to our audience how coordinated antifa is? Do you see a central leader? There has to be somebody that is calling the shots. What have you learned? Well, I've learned that there is different roles that these groups play. And typically, there is a loose idea of where they want to go, but the idea is that they move fluidly. And they sort of, they have their, it's hard to say, Charlie. It's hard to say who is the leader when they all look the same and they're obfuscating their identities with black blog. Surely there is certain roles designated to how they're going to move down the street. I do think there is. I do think there is a leader when it comes to these individual groups that organize these direct actions. It's just hard to say who those might those people might be in the moment.

"Is with us, kalen, walk us through what happened when you were in Sacramento. Sure. We got there to the capitol. And I want to say that things like this happened, but the main thing is that the Chloe Cole was having a speech and, you know, trying to raise awareness for detransitioners. And that I think is the most important thing that went on that day. However, we arrived to the capitol and about two minutes after being there. I couldn't even get through my initial introduction before someone came up with a miniature Louisville slugger and destroyed my cameras man. My cameraman's lens, luckily, Charlie paxil is a pro and he was able to fix it and we were able to keep going. So I'm really thankful for that. But they were incredibly aggressive just right off the start, there may have been 75 plus of them. And I personally haven't seen a group like this that has been this aggressive and violent in a while. So that was kind of surprising because normally they march in the streets and they try to shout people down and they threaten people, but today or excuse me that day they had quite a few guys striking, you know, moving behind the barriers that they have up, they hold flags and they hold banners and they really create a wall of bodies with shields, but then they had guys who were brave enough to come out and striking an assaulting people, the man whose head was split open right above his eye. He was bleeding profusely, but he said, yeah, it was just standing on the sidewalk.

"He continues to get a pass from the left on this really serious issue these false claims of being a civil rights activist My humble opinion I think it's his most disgusting character trait Everything about Joe Biden is phony The entire persona whether it's this question of getting involved in the civil rights movement which has been repeatedly proven to be alive whether it's his graduation from prestigious Institutes of higher learning where he apparently plagiarized his way through his claim that he's a champion for the working class when all of his policies do the exact opposite And one that really personally bothers me much like the civil rights claim bothers you is this perception that Joe Biden is the empath and chief when his version of doing that is basically trying to for lack of a better term mansplain grief to people who are in the throes of it He constantly uses you know obviously the tragic death of his son is basically a way to prevent criticism He has spoken to gold star families who have lost their family members actually in war and has essentially tried to say that his son Beau died in battle Obviously his death is horrible He died from cancer that was presumably due to bird pits but it's not the same as what he's talking to these families about And as someone who's gone through really difficult grief with losing my dad to hear someone tell you I understand what you're going through is one of the most infuriating statements you can actually hear when you're going through that process And the fact that the media acts like Joe Biden should be heralded for his approach to talking to people about their issues is disgusting

"That sounds like actually a much more direct path than I would have thought because you came from this creative background, you know, kind of eased into it over time. You pursued it, passionately, and then took some time off. I love it. It sounds very, very direct in a way that a lot of EFM careers aren't. So this is kind of fun. I guess one of the things you just hinted at was this idea of having to start an LLC, have there been challenges about owning a business as an EFM that are different from the challenges you had when you were starting up in Chicago. Yes. In a way, I did have to start over because I was changing my name from amber Renee design to amber Silva photography. And I also had to think about an address. You know, with being in the foreign service, you don't necessarily always have a home address back in the states. So I was actually using my parents address and then I had to think about kind of like the legal stuff, will this be functional and other country? Will they accept LLCs? And so yeah, that's so one of the other questions I guess is EFM are probably a lot of our listener EFM are thinking, maybe I want to start a business. You know, if I do all these things, I get my LLC. I get started. I have an idea. I'm really excited to go. Are there requirements for me being just any of them? What are the limitations or things that I need to think about that another expat might not have to think about? This is something I'm still learning as well because this is really the first time that I'm really running a business overseas as a EFM as part of the under the chief of mission, so I had to learn it ask questions along the way. And the one a few things I would say would be just making sure you know what the rules are. And the regulations are at your post and for that country as well. So one thing I didn't know beforehand was looking researching the work permits in Kenya I kind of did but I didn't really do it in depth and I just thought like, oh, once I get here, I'll figure it out. And then also knowing what the requirements were from the chief of the mission community. So from the embassy, what is what their roles and regulations are for EFM businesses, what maybe approval, you need or all those things. And there's a group on Facebook that has been really helpful. I think it's actually where I met you, Lauren. And so just being able to ask questions in those groups has been really helpful. I find those groups invaluable to. I have noticed running my own business that the requirements for EFM businesses are different in every country. So you can't use.

Two having body positivity while reaching your goals so make sure to check that episode out after you listen to this one. You wouldn't pick for the long term. So i know what it's like to feel stressed out about your weight and feeling like this is going to take forever. This is how i felt in twenty nineteen. Would you have any suggestions. Suggestions for ember. As to where she could volunteer and help out. During her lunch break ember receives a message on her phone from her grandma. The text message reads. Hey ember just wishing you a great day at school love grandma and as amber reads the message thinks he s. I should volunteer at their retirement home and just a few minutes later. She texts her grandma back and says hey grandma. Do you think i could volunteer at the retirement. Home love amber. And just a few moments later ember receives a reply that says hey ember. I asked and you are more than welcome to volunteer after school. "What are you thinking. I can see. It's a little bit challenging for her. Like she's just like i don't know but i might. She's ted so if i didn't catch on us now at ten that by the time she's twenty and she's going to be like oh okay. This is what's happening. I'm having thought which an i'm having this feeling on. Being a lot of people cannot recognize that really fast. You're not used to game. And then and then we move into future focus goals. What do you want. How do you want to think and zeal and what you have to do to change. And i'm home. Has all of that in right coaching and just really walking spring out with everyone and helping them this breaking all down so kind of went back to the that pivot point of figuring out. This is not what i want in my life. Or maybe i want something different than going through those beliefs. Do you feel like it's easier to kind of just spot on no. This is what. I want to change in my life whether it be finances career. Wait whatever it be or friends like you had mentioned or do you feel like that kinda gets revealed as you start packing your thoughts and kind of your thoughts around like feeling stock. So that's why they kind of have somebody do a download of goals so that they can really see what they even want in life and that may be alone challenging. You'd be surprised like how stop people might be like. Oh let's do twenty goals now. They don't want it to be big why they're be big goals they can be like. It's words row. I want to be able to go on a vacation every year. I want to be able to walk every day as my exercise. you know. get up and do quiet time. You know it doesn't have to be huge. But i don't think people really said they're thinking about it and so i have them do that and then take the goal and then bats start seeing like what other thoughts about like. Why why do they feeling. They can't go after an apple or why haven't they already gone after the goal and usually there's a thought that's connected to why they haven't gone after that goal yet and then at what point do you feel like because me back up a little bit. I you know when you're talking about like what you can accomplish in five years. I think a lot of us are like amer. I'm already forty waiting until i'm forty. Five does not appeal to me. I want it now. And i think that you know that's where some of us get stuck as we want it now but talk to us a little bit about like. How long does it usually take to start feeling differently. Oh i mean not making us wait five years now i mean i let me tell you. I've been working with a client for five weeks. And she's like i've been telling my friends she's like because being that i've never done before and i've been reading more and more about thought were inches like the way that you lay it out. She like really helps me to see it and she said it just makes me so much more aware i want to do it. And in the end you kinda realize that you have more control over your result than you realize and so that is changing so once you realize that everything can start changing because if you keep staying in the mindset that everything's happening to you you're gonna feel stock but the moment that you can start realizing okay away. I can change these results. I can have different thoughts about him. I mean you could be changing the way you do things the way you think the way you feel. I mean in less than a month high. I mean so. You don't have to wait five years. I'm just saying there may be some goals that late. You're kinda like well. If i want to make you know five hundred thousand dollars you may start really thinking about like. How am i gonna do that but you can. Change thoughts feelings really quickly. Which thin will set. You ought to just handle light completely different. I mean the amount of information that i learned since january is insane. Like i feel like mind has shifted now. That's not to say that. I don't feel like you know things happen in my life and a tiny get stuck in solving. But i'll tell you my brain moves out of it so much faster. There will be something. Maybe somebody says something jimmy and find my brain going somewhere really quick. And then i might. Whoa like like okay. You need to pull back. We're maybe before. I would sit in that for a very long time and be upset of the person's fit or invited or did she mean or i know. Now we're now in my go for a few seconds and then i just grab it while you're really just letting your can i run away with you and i i don't know it just feels so much freer to be able to do that and not just be like wow. I can't control any of this. So i guess this what it is and so. That's when i knew what i say like this can happen pretty quick and so the that my client has been with me five weeks and she feels so much and she's made so much progress is pretty easy. That's awesome. that's so. I have been so of watching you really step into what god has called you four for your life and to see all of your past experiences really lining up to provide launching board where you can really support people in the most amazing way and pour into their life in the most amazing way and it's just been incredible to watch to watch you kinda do this and to be who god really created you to be so. "Is if you wanna be a healthy person mentally physically. Whatever you're going to have to work through things otherwise you're just kind of trying to escape it and hope for the best. You're not really just trying to break it all down and be like why am i. Doing something is kind of like when you can think about ohio people might be eating okay and they're just like i wanna convening because it tastes good. I didn't want to. I don't feel satisfied many times. You can have a breakdown to why. Somebody's does eating. For example they may not feel satisfied in their life. And i will rather people and yes you can enjoy food or whatever but do not get so much satisfaction from because your life is so satisfying that you're not having to go to the food to give that satisfaction and i think that's what happens a lot. People are like why can't control this with this. But i can't control what meaning. I can control that. This gives me a quick hand of dopamine. But you know thirty minutes later you now downed like all these twizzlers and you now have a hangover from sugar in your life. Now you feel bad about yourself. You were back. It's like. I'm not really satisfied with my life. And so yes it is hard but i also think it's hard to not figure all of that out because it's just going to keep coming back anime show up in different ways. Yeah that's good. That's good as you were talking to thinking about two different things number one being that when it is a pivot that is that small whisper of the holy spirit calling you into what god really has for you to deny that you have to answer for that when you get to heaven so putting that out there you know that that's a question that the bible tells us is going to be asked of us is what did we do with the things that god gave us and so if we say oh i didn't really want to go through the work of dealing with that so i just hit it away. Well we know that parable really. Wow what happens you know. So that's one thing to just kind of be considering. But i think number two is that we all can think about what we want things to be in the positive in for some of us. That's a little bit harder right because it can feel like. Who am i to want that. Or is it even possible and we have to kind of face those beliefs. But i also think it's sometimes easier to think about what we don't want. We all know those people you know we see them at church. Maybe they're in our family. Maybe it's our parents and we look at them and think. Wow they're just miserable or there we can see that they didn't live up to their potential or that they denied themselves certain things and we can see what could have been and i think all of us can look at that and be like. I don't want that for myself. I don't want that to be my story that my kids are looking at me or other. People are looking at me and being like wow. It's really sad. Yeah you know it's interesting. I was on a podcast and he normally does money cast but we were talking about different things and he said he asks his gas. He didn't ask me this question but he said he asked his gas. That are coming after finances. What do they want and he said almost every time they tell him what they don't want so exactly what you decide that handyman for really what they want is. I don't want this. Yeah i mean like when we talk about balance on the show. And i'm you know we've talked about like how to how you defined balance and that's thing for people to say but it's really easy to say what does unbalanced feel like to you than even identify super-quick super easy. We all know what bat feeling is like. And what that looks like in our life and so sometimes it's a flip side of that we need to maybe shoot for and i know pretty talk about this before too about kind of creating that vision for what you want your life to be who you want to be. Yeah yeah for sure so you know. I think one of the things that really helped me. What has been your way and even now as who does my future self namie to be right. How's that when i get there. It's like okay. We work on this and so right now like the whole towns wanting to get that off you know meaning the palestine will be like. Oh like let's just you know. White uncle go superstar. Go super crazy diet. So i can get it off but most likely it would come back on because i didn't really solve the problem but i- gimme myself that time if you're one. Do i need to think what thoughts may happen. That's kind of late preventing me from moving forward because really. I'm willing to take extra time right now. Too ill hassle even gains a few pounds and bigger like okay. That's not working okay. Needed you also. Have you know by the time fifty sixty years old. I'm not doing this. That i the figured it out. And that's when trying to give my future solve in. So who do. I need to be calm along the way that by the time i get there. It's not like i was like. Oh my gosh now. I gotta figure all this out. It's like no. Let's just figure this out now. That's good that's good and that's the hard thing right is how do you. How do you figure out what it is that you need to do. And then we talked about thoughts in the beliefs but then how do we kind of take that and move it into a positive direction. Yeah so that's where i think. We're setting goals then figure out your goals. And that's what i worked with with my clients. Is we kind of brainstorm some goals that they want and then we picked blind and we start working on it and the one thing. That's so interesting to me. I've heard this over and over again is a lot of people. Overestimate what they can do in twelve weeks on but any highly underestimate what they can do in five ten years thinking out that far and so they're thinking they can lose thirty pounds in twelve weeks right but then it's like all. I don't know what i can do in fire beers and you can do a lot in five years and so just really trying to help with goals and then what's important picking that top one and working through the obstacles you know walking through wire committed to that goal the obstacles that might come with specific goal and then you know coming up with strategies like why do you want that go and in working through all of that because there aren't going to be obstacles and if you kind of think about that ahead of time when absent in won't be so alarmed you're not like oh gosh like i wasn't prepared for that and also then you have strategies when you run up against those obstacles. I think that's what's really important in. So that's also a ties into the whole thoughts and feelings so you know we're not just like sitting around being all by ya a that's not really what it is. It's really kind of just. It's like the best way to do you think about it. It's kind of like we're paper thinking a little bit late. You're putting your thoughts on the paper. We're trying to think about what is going on. What are you doing right now. That's not working for you so you know you don't have to think about it so much like oh that seems so scary or vulnerable as i think about what your thoughts. What thoughts are you having about this. And then what feeling pops out for you. And i d more you do it the easier becomes you dislike. Oh i do this with my girls. Way especially oldest. I'll get really frustrated. And i'll just say so..

"Decisions that i want to be making. Yes so so good and you know the thing. I love about what you were saying to members that it really encompasses so many different things like it can encompass your body it can encompass your career path. Just what you're doing with your time. I know for me a big thing for me. This year is what am i doing for fun before fun for me was like playing with my kids. My kids are now like teenagers so there lake will mom. I can play with you when i am done doing my things and so i'm like okay so i need to find my own fun because i sit here and be like oh boohoo. My kids are older. They don't wanna hang out with me anymore and you know what i don't want to live that life either. I wanna make sure that i am. I'm really feeling fulfilled. Enjoy and having purpose and every season of my life and i know you have some tips to help us kind of walk through this and however we feel like something needs to change whether that's our health or a career or whatever it is so talk to us about kind of that first step when we realize okay. This is where i am. I needed something about it. And i wanna throw their to this french. I a lotta times at forty. I think people really started reevaluating. Their friends like are they keeping friends that are toxic and there are the people that they really should have. Let go or are you realizing you need to have boundaries. And i think you're coming into this okay. I don't think he'd do in medicine. I don't want to drive these people with me along lies and also you may find that you're friends with people who the kids weren't in preschool together. You're doing mommy things and now you guys are all going separate traction and you may realize oh. I need different friends. Was we know friends for a season or for so many and so you can apply all of this to money and confidence and friendships and all that kind of stuff. So i wanted to put out there before we jump into this but really everything starts with the thoughts that you're having until you have thought about something. Everything's pretty much neutral. It's the thought that you have is what creates like a feeling in increase action. So like what i work with with my clients is breaking down their thoughts and then creating a list of about set created maybe an unwanted desire or causes unwanted actions and results. So you think about it later. If you keep having a certain thought always this example. Like i never gonna lose weight. And then i just think that's really frustrating and then my actions are well. I'll just keep idealism. Wait anyways or i'm just going to watch netflix. Because am frustrated. And and then all the things that all these actions than which produce a result that i don't want which is then keeping me. I'm not losing weight so just kind of late. Show you like in a very quick snippet what that looks like. And then we had uncover beliefs so you go from odds and then you think about the beliefs what you believe about like your life and when you believe about yourself and then what do you actually believe about your dreams coming true because i need so many people are so afraid like oh. I don't really want to believe that. Because what if it doesn't happen thinking really won't set. You ought to get where you want to go. And then just of also like what do you believe about your ability to kinda create what you want which kind of goes along with james country and what. What believes. do you have for creating the results you want in your life. And so that's kind of like where that's were had uncovering while your thoughts are what your current beliefs are and then we can move through. What new thoughts do you need to have sitting down. We can brainstorm that thoughts. You wanna have writing them down at applying those not so a lot of people are again. I'm just trying to think about that. But you really have to write it down and you really have to look at those every day or just kinda slips your mind. I mean our brains get filled with so much random. Stop that it. You don't have that in front of you every day. And that's why having a coaches. I think really important because you have this time. Set aside for you every week. That's just about you and as moms. We do not get that. It's like about everybody else. I mean yesterday. I was trying to do. The podcast. air knows ready to cook dinner. The rice was cookie. And i like running back and forth. Gonna mike okay. This isn't working very well so to have time that you can have someone just focus on and help you figure out your goals and not have to think about do. I need to ask them how they're doing. And how are their goals. And how are you feeling. No no you can be completely selfish. And that's what you're there for and so we kinda just figure out your thoughts and then you have somebody that's kind of holding you accountable throughout the week and then meeting up for the next appointment so before we go into the next piece of amber i do want to mention one thing like as you're talking about these thoughts in the beliefs. Yeah and how those things are tied together. I think that you know it's one of those things that we've talked about this before. It's so easy to be like you. Just think about your thoughts beliefs. Come from those thoughts. But i think what makes it really difficult sometimes for people and i just want to bring this like into the light so people realize so when this happens to them. They're not like what's wrong with me. Is that when we are so used to running away from those thoughts or running away from feelings. Don't feel good right. That's that's why we overwork. That's why we overeat that's why we overspend. That's why we we do these things so that we don't have to feel these feelings. We don't have to face the truth of those thoughts or those beliefs and how they came to be how they're actually affecting us and so when we start down this process i know just for my own self of really being able to think like. Why am i thinking that thought. Where's that come from like. That is a difficult process to do. And sometimes it ends the most uncomfortable thing in the world and you just want to run away from it and as we call so in my training we call that buffering so but for he's anytime you're not allowing and processing emotion like you're you're like no don't wanna do it and then you would rather resist it but then you end up getting to where you want to go so really ges. Lau and really emotion is just ration- i think we make it so scary like ono like i don't wanna feel the sadness or anger and it is really a vibration her body and if we could just learn to be like okay. Okay we know this isn't gonna last forever. Just trust that then you can just move through it and then the more you can do it. It gives you more. Heaven is yeah. I got this i can do is no problems. You're not scared of the emotions that are gonna come up and you don't feel like you have to run away. Yeah dan. that's so good. So my question. I wanna ask you amber is so being someone who has gone through this journey and knowing that there were times that you're like oh i don't want to set your infield as i just wanted to go away for people who are like thinking like yeah. I'm i totally relate to the fact that i need to tip it in some way shape perform. I need to kind of reassess what i'm doing. Make a different plan going forward but as soon as you start talking about like feelings and emotions like i just seems like a whole lot of stuff that i don't want to deal with times. It's better just to keep it underneath the rug and move forward. What would you say to someone who's who's kind of like. Is it worth it to go through this process while i guess mushroom ask. That person is whatever you're doing now is working for you so if you're putting it under the rug is working for you and most of the time if they're thinking about this it's not working for them because that thing is going to keep coming back up like until you really processes and work through it and so you may not be ready to do it by adding of.

"Emerged. Am so excited to have you back on. The redefining balanced podcast. I feel like been a while since you've been on and today's episode. What we're gonna be talking about today. I think is going to bless so many people but before we get into that discussion for those who maybe don't know who you are or it's been a little lessons as heard from you. Tell her audience a little bit about who you are your eyes. So many amer sandberg and i live just outside of national tennessee. I am a mom of two young girls. And i also am the podcast. Host of the mommas fired show and recently so january actually decided to go and go to school with actually cassia. You guys are familiar with that to become a certified life end weight loss coach. Which i think it's so exciting at least for me being your friend in watching you go through this journey of deciding to become a certified life coach. I'm so excited for you. Because you've been on this journey that i've watched you go through over the last few years of really kind of evaluating where you are in life and choosing to be brave enough to do something different and that's hard for a lot of people and that's exactly what we're gonna be talking about today is is how pivot when you kind of look around and you're like wait a minute. What is this life. That i have built. And what am i doing here. You know from your own personal experience was that hasn't been two years since you've lost sixty pounds. Yeah so two. Thousand nineteen is what i really lost my way. I have game at ten pounds. That's a whole nother story cove and my dad dying some working back off so i totally understand a really quench. That's also. I think i gaining some of that way. It made me realize we'll talk about this later in the show his. I hadn't really work on my thoughts by realizes. I was using a lot of the momentum of lizzy in two thousand eighteen in obviously twenty twenty came and we really have to sit with our thoughts and feelings during that year. So we'll go into that but Yeah so. I let you better like some during kobe. Or you've had some setbacks. Whatever i totally understand anything that makes me a better coach. Because i'm working through it myself so then i'm able to help my clients worked as well. Yeah and i we had you on the podcast talking about just the emotional journey that you had to go on and the mental journey of losing that weight because oftentimes when we talk about weight loss for talking about what to eat how to exercise your mac rose all of that kinda stuff but for you you found that it was really more of a mental emotional journey of unpacking things and rebuilding thoughts and beliefs about yourself. Which was really a strong catalyst. I think for for your success but even beyond weight loss. The thing that i love about what you're gonna be. Coaching women on and specially is is kind of that pivot point. Because you've had to pivot right. You decided a few years ago to become a travel agent and then twenty twenty hit and that made you have to reevaluate or you're doing for your career so talked a little bit about that journey as well. Yes let me just take you back really to two thousand eighteen. So that's when. I started two thousand sixteen when i started the podcast that along. That was my first pivoting point. I was home with the kids. My youngest was too which is crazy because she is seven and a lot of change work around apps and trying to do hobie wake up and now. She's in an fulltime elementary. Which makes things different. But i wanted to do something different. I never done a podcast by just really wanted to reach a lot of women especially moms so. I knew i wanted to do something. Outside of raising the kids. In half something that can have a creative outlet. So you know. That's why. I started the moms fired. Show down sixteen then. Two thousand eighteen rolled around. I think i focused so much on the podcast and whatnot. I cannot my health kind of go back burner. And there's other things going on that i was dealing with and i think it was emotionally eating just really not allowing my salt to feel my feelings and for the longest time. I was so afraid of being sad. I think i wrote myself be sad. I never gonna get out of us. And like i'm gonna cry forever and that i'm just gonna beat apprised and then what's going to happen and so i think i just was always probably running away from it escaping at i was using food to escape and so i gain all this extra weight and so in two thousand nineteen. I decided you know what. I really need to put my house. I and i really wanted do this. Because it was making it really challenging for eight and it wasn't so much. I just wanted to be a smaller sized as i did want that. It just was making harder for me to work out move. Do all the things that i was used to doing. And so. I decided like this is really going to have to almost become my top priority. My top goal. Obviously i'm still going to be mom. Do the gas. And all that stuff. But i needed to make it a priority. I have scheduled things differently so that was working out and being able to change my food a had to cut back on eating thoughts about things we also have to take action and do things. You can't just feel like why. I wanted to this way and then change anything. So then i lost the weight and in two thousand eighteen. I became a travel agent. So just kind of. I'm going in reverse order a little bit so that probably was the other thing that i got focused in that along with podcast and then i also gain weight so then now that i think about it yet. So two thousand. Sixteen sort of the podcast. Two thousand eighteen became a travel agent in two thousand nineteen. I decided i really need to get this weight off while still doing all the other stuff. So two thousand eighteen. I was like you know why. I love having the podcast but i always love traveling and i thought it'd be cool to be a travel agent so i to put it out there. I think somewhere on a group born whenever and actually a friend of mine and she didn't hooked me up with an agency owner and i became a travel agent through some training and all that kind of stuff started traveling and it was great but then twenty twenty hit and the travel industry just stopped and what was so disheartening about that. Not only did. I have to work two trips. I didn't have a war to cancel those trips. So i ended up doing double the work to make zero and i just thought i don't know where this is going like. I mean i don't know if things are open on like are people gonna wanna get vaccinated. So if countries are requiring. That are not going. Wanna do that as much and so there is a lot of things out of my control that late. The people who might have travel before may not be traveling now and so. I thought to myself okay. I don't know if this is like good for me to stand. I don't wanna stay too long just sitting here so i gave myself twenty twenty to kind of you know. See what is going to happen by the time. January twenty twenty. One rolled around travel was still a little bit iffy and avocado stop. I thought you know what this is. The time to pivot. Now i'm still doing travel and travel is picking up deter keiko's and that was amazing. But still there's so many unknowns just told me that late mexico might be going down. Because kobe is high against. This is exactly what i need. And i'm currently quoting people go to mexico for the end of june. So it's so much that. I don't know what's going on that i. I don't know if this is the best for me so i'm gonna take this in my own hands. I felt really called to sign up for this coaching certification. To the point that it actually was completely booked. And i couldn't even get in a weightless and i realized how i was. And then that's how i knew. Wow i really wanted this more than actually realize when i realized i think it had but ended up opening up and i was able to get so.

"Just leading the interview or also if i was just doing a solo episode so i thought it'd be really cool just for you guys to have a different take on me. You get to know me a little bit better also. I'm monty my coaching business alive. Coaching business If you guys did not here. At the beginning of the year. I decided to certified as a life coach. And i recently just got certified so it was an amazing program and an opportunity and really it has provided me so many tools to help all of you and the reason why i wanted to become a life. Coach is to help all of you. Guys beyond the podcast. So you're going to hear a little bit more like how my coaching works. And you know what. I talk about with people. Also you'll hear some stories that maybe you haven't heard me talk about on the podcast because you know sometimes it just takes someone else asking you questions for you to share different things so i am excited that you guys are going to hear this. If you are interested in working with me or you want to try a free consultation you can always email me at amber at mom inspired show dot com again. We'll do a free consultation. See if it's a good fit and if this is something that you wanna do and today we're just gonna be kinda talking about three tips to kind of you move forward and create the life that you want. I know so many of us especially women in their thirties in their forties. Then they're pershing possibly that they're trying to figure out what to do with their lives. Maybe their kids have gone into kindergarten and now they find themselves home and they're kind of like one of my doing now that the kids aren't home or maybe your kids are off in Off to college and you are experiencing empty nest syndrome. And you're kinda. Like what am i doing with my life. And even if you're not experiencing any of that you're kind of like i want something more I'm living alive too small and you know i want to go after certain goals or i wanna hit my weight loss goal or i want to get more fit and healthy or maybe you're just kind of in debt and you just don't know where to start. I don't know maybe you want to work on your self confidence. And you're just kind of like i need help but i don't know what that looks like. That is what i'm here for. This is what my services are for and so the tips that i want to be talking to you guys about today. as number one is you're going to be assessing your thoughts and kind of just understanding where you are what you're feeling and what is missing because there's a lot of emotions that come up with this and it's easier said than done and sometimes we kind of blow these things off. We're kind of just like i don't know. Is this really important like do. I really need to focus on that. But truly our thoughts really make such a huge difference. And i will talk about that with you. Guys in the consultation. But you'll also hear that in today's episode with. When jenny starts asking me questions also number two is creating different thoughts. What changes do you want to make. What thoughts and believes g. You need to get there and again. These are all very important because you is. We have a lot of beliefs that we have in her mind. And sometimes we don't even know they're they're they're so subconscious and they can kind of sabotage what you're trying to do and you don't even know why and last number three is just making those thoughts into action so creating those new thoughts and what do you need to do so like a good example that i'll do is like who do you want to become like. What do you see your future. Self you know in two or five years ten years however far you want to think what are they doing well. What are the things that you need to start doing today to start moving towards that future version of yourself. And that is what. I do. I walk alongside of you. I you know. Let you figure out your thoughts. We brainstorm things. I will give you you know homework. If you want homework. I will give you just like exercises that we can work through and I don't know it's just been really great. I've already started working with clients and just having such a blast. It truly is a passion of mine to help women especially moms just kind of go after the things that they really want. And you guys deserve this. Like i feel like many times. We just feel like well. You know. I don't wanna complain. Our life is good enough. you know. do i really want more my life. And i want to say yes. It's okay to want that. And i want you to go after that. So if you need help if you need somebody kind kinda hold your hand if you need somebody to kind of brainstorm or whatever that's what i'm here for so email me at amber at mom inspired show or if you follow me on instagram you can hit me up. The dm at mom inspired living. And i will respond there. But i'm super excited for this episode. And i think you'll see a little bit of my friendship with jenny. So it's just it's just a different episode today and i just think it will be fun and also hopefully encouraging to you guys all right. Let's go to the show dhamma so excited for you to be joining us for our conversation today because we're talking about pivoting and not in the pivoting sense that you might think. Sometimes we think about pivoting and work or pivoting in the direction that we might be going with something but really this is one of those moments where we kind of feel a call on our life where we look around and we think there could be something different going on here now. Research shows that this happens for a lot of us in the age of thirty five to forty five and there's a number of reasons for it right where it could be that our career is now established or not having to work so hard in our career it could be that. Our kids are not as dependent on us. It could just be the fact that we're aware of how old we are getting and we're looking around and thinking. Is this really the life that i wanted to create and do i want something different as i. Continue to move forward now. This is a big question to ask. you know. there is something to be said. I think i status quo and just kind of taking it day by day however if the holy spirit is calling you to do something different you could not ignore that and so we're gonna be diving deep into this conversation today and to join us on this conversation. I have one of my very best friend. Her name is amber sandberg. She's been on the podcast before. I'm sure if you have listened before you've heard her. She also is another podcast hosts. She hosts a show called the mom inspired show and the great thing with amber is that she's very transparent about her own journey that she has been on and this journey that she has been on to transform her health to transform her career and really to respond to the call. God has on her life to become a certified life coach and so now she's helping other women who are in the same position of looking around and thinking. God what else do you have for me. And this allies. And what can i do to further your purpose that you have for me in. And so she's going to be walking us through how to evaluate when these situations come up and what we can do to move forward now before we dive into our conversation with amber. I do want to let you know that it is not too late to plan the most awesome summer ever. You can check out our planning summer. Awesome tool kit inside of life balanced membership. And if you're thinking that you want to even go a little bit deeper this summer you want to spend some time really setting up some new strong habits for yourself and for your family. "It was very mexican feeling and it was delicious and so their food was so yummy. One thing that i noticed this is a place is family oriented. But i'm gonna tell you what i felt about it. I felt that it's a great place to go with your spouse or to go on a girl's trip it feels very adult oriented to me and it feels very like nightlife like if you wanna stay up and you want to eat on the rooftop and there's music going and you really loved nightlife. This is a great place to consider. Because that's the vibe that i got that it's just kind of like it comes alive at night time. I will say because. I checked out all the gyms at all the resorts there. Jim was really amazing. So i think you're pulling end people who care about their health. They want to stay in shape while they're gone. But you know maybe have a few drinks and yummy meals. But they'll go to the gym the next day. Work it off. They had so many different machine. They had the ropes. They had that weighted sled that you can push that is really cool like when you're doing pull ups but you're almost wall-climbing there. Jim was to me the best out of all of them. And i thought to myself. I think the people who are coming here are wanting to have fun. But they don't wanna go too far late working out and staying in shape and in good. So that's what i felt about. Viceroy like that's the vibe that i got and And also you can rent bikes. And i wish we could have done it but we were running out of time. I totally would have rode my bike. Like a down the road or wherever it went and That's part is complementary and i just thought that was really cool okay. So moving on to our last resort and that was one and only okay so one and only pammy feels like hawaii as well so granville us and one and only feel like allied to me. It's so lush that you have no idea that you're in desert and their grounds are huge and it's just so much trees and palm trees and bushes and flowers and i don't know what it is about. It just felt really amazing and it felt like you were really talked away. You really had a drive into canada from the main road to get in. Which i think is kind of cool so because we went in september there. Were not a lot of kids there. So if you wanna go to these places i would highly recommend going when school is in session But this is what they said. This is a very family oriented resort to the point that fifty percents of their clientele are returning clients. Which i think says a lot. I can see why so. I'm gonna go through this all right first of all one and only if it blew me away because their customer service to was so amazing similar to montage to the point where it almost goes making me uncomfortable. Because i'm just not used to having so much attention and people focused on me..

"Bellis is known for like being very welcoming to families and so i can see how you could have families coming and this would be the most amazing trip to the point that i took a tour and they showed me a room that was set up to have a baby so they had the crypt set up in there. They had all these cute little amenities that could go with the baby and then they had a little step stool for them to be able to get onto the toilet toddlers. They need a little step stool or to get to the sink or to get into the bathtub. And then if you need this little The little tub for the baby inside the big tub. It was really cool to be able to see that. And so i was like. Wow they really make it so easy for you to bring your kids. They even had little robes for the kids. So you see the adult robes which i was experiencing in every resort but then to see little kid robes. I thought it was so adorable. And i could just see my youngest wanting smoothies every day and by being all inclusive have to think about it. Right you don't have to think about what is the cost and you could be sitting at the pool and enjoying whatever you want and you've already paid for it so for me. I can see where doing the all inclusive at grand palace is truly amazing and the food. I'm going to tell you. The food in my opinion was as good as montage and the resort patrick. Also at that point. That's the only ones that i could compare to. And i thought wow. I am so impressed with food and the drinks were amazing. I'm not a big drinker. I will say But they had made an avocado margarita. And i thought that sounds so weird by going to try. Because it's so special. And i really need to try these drinks because i know that. That's what people like to do when they go on vacation personally me. I like to drink coffee. So i like to have coffee drinks. That's my jam But i'm like. I'm going to try this and it was delicious. It was it was amazing and had known for my agency owner that he said that they use top shelf liquor and all that kind of stuff that a lot of the other resorts you will find that. Just even feel a little bit of your drink. You'd have to drink four to five drinks. Where at grand bellas. You only need to drink one. And i didn't even finish mine So anyways it was delicious though..

"And i'm going to put pitchers in the show notes that you guys can see one. I'm talking about and also if you do. Follow me on instagram. You can see where. I posted the pitchers and maybe get an idea. But i don't know if i posted the bedrooms for all of them so i will do that in the show notes. Okay so going back to resort patrick. All their rooms feel very mexican so it feels like traditional mexico and it has all those different colors and it's really exciting and festive and definitely not modern. So if that's not your jam that might not be the place that you want to go. So it feels very fun and their bathroom was humongous. The room is humongous. The balcony is huge. Everything is amazing and a fun thing that they do is they will bring you chips. And guacamole and to coronas before dinner which i thought was really cool and they give you a tequila. A bottle of tequila in this really pretty it's almost like a porcelain bottle. The blue and white bottle. And i just thought that was really cool so to be able to get that you know those little extras make a difference and i will say montage because it was our university when we walked in. They had a bottle of champagne for us and they had this beautiful chocolate cake with. Gold flecks in it saying happy anniversary. And i just thought that was awesome and the cake was so delicious and i say that i think todd was eating breakfast one day so i'm gonna throw him under the bus for that now just joking. He can get away with that. He can get away eating breakfast. He has a fast metabolism so anyway so sorry to be bouncing back and forth. It just jogged my memory. So going back to resort. A patrick goal loved the balcony. It was amazing they have. They have adult only pools as well as well as a family pool. So i think it's great my opinion with resort patrick. I probably wouldn't do a family vacation there to me. It feels more of an adult. Only not to say that there won't be kids there. But that's just my feeling that. I would just i would go with my spouse versus bringing the kids so just to give you an idea okay and then the other thing that's cool about it is it's right by marina and so it's safe enough to walk down to the marina. We did not have time but if we had time what they would use drive you down the tunnel to the gate and then you can watch them marina. We totally would have done it. I felt comfortable enough to do it. And that's what. I think is neat that i felt comfortable to be able to do those things if i had more time. Staying at the resort like for the whole week. So then i'm going to move onto grand velez so grand. Bella is the only resort. That i went to that was all inclusive. Now this is where. I send my clients when they say to me that they want a five star all inclusive with amazing food. Amazing drinks amazing. customer service..

"The top of our list. Their food was delicious. Everything was amazing about that trip. And i just want to say that. Like if you're thinking about going away on a couples like you're going with your husband or if you wanna go with other couples. This is a perfect location. In my opinion to go. It's so easy to get to and it. It felt romantic. However when it's christmas time now they have so many things for the family. So that's what. I mean if you just go at certain times when maybe the kids are in school. If you wanna just go with your spouse you will feel like it's not busy and that's what we experienced even though families are you know are allowed to go and experience resort as well so i wanna move on to the resort of petrol so the resort. A petrol is through a cliff. You have to actually go through a tunnel and you once you get on the other side of the tunnel you feel like you are away from the rest of the world. It's pretty cool. And what. I liked about this resort. Is it kind of felt isolated. But in a good way. And i don't know it's funny. There's this really huge gates to get into the beginning of where you're going to go into the tunnel and tad was saying it felt late jurassic park. It's like these huge gates like letting you in and it was just really exciting. And one thing about resort patrico is is has a restaurant that people will come to even if they're not staying on the property and you can do that so even if you're seeing it any of the other resorts that i mentioning if you wanted to go to. This restaurant and i am so not good at spanish. I did not major in spanish. But it's l. fallen so it's f. a. r. a. l. l. o. n. c. don't pronounce the ellison. That's what that's what gets me every time and it's pretty much seafood to table so you're are eating what they caught that day and it was such a great experience. I'm gonna walk you guys through this experience again. If you do not stay at this resort you can go to this restaurant. So it's built into the cliff and you go up into the cliff and you go to where this cases where all the fish for the day that they have gotten is what you can order so you pick which fish you want and then you pick the sides that you want to go.

"And like i said the water is very shallow. Both beaches are super turquoise. Okay it that doesn't matter okay. They both have the blue blue water on both sides. I did notice with long bay beach. There's a little bit more of waves now. Not huge waves. We're not going to get knocked over. Because i do think long bay beach is perfect for little kids because it's so shallow. I mean i don't think it ever like it's it's like waist-deep so far out so so far out and i'm five three. It was to my waist. It might have been even to my hip just to give you an idea when i say it's shallow so perfect for little kids. You wouldn't have to worry about them getting too far out and then all of a sudden get super deep like that's what i think is so amazing but if you want the vibe of both that's why i say do beach to beach go to one resort. Stay for two nights and then do three nights at the other. You cannot use the pool and all that kind of stuff just staying at one resort in taking the shuttle over you can go to the restaurants and you can walk the beach because the beaches public where you can't be like sitting on the lounge chairs and using the pool so that's why you want to stay at each resort. You know during your stay. If you're staying for five nights now are five days. Yeah five nights and if you're not then you may not want to move okay. You may not want to repack into all of that. So that's something to think about. But i wanted to say something about the long beach. Okay this is how shallow it is. If you're adventurous you may want to try giving surfing ago. So there's a kite surfing school right next to the shore club so when sailing when i walked out and i go to the left. There's all these different companies that are providing lessons for kite surfing. That was really fun to watch people. Give it a try even if you decide not to do it just laying in your lawn chair and watching these people so they do it a certain distance back so they're not like right up close to where you're laying on. They have to start a certain distance but again when you're watching them. They're standing there all standing out there. Learning their lesson and the water is not higher than their waste. That's how shallow it is. So it's so fun and so fun to watch. I didn't personally do it. But i think if i went next time i think i would give it a go because it looked like so much fun. The other thing too is if you are wanting to just of check out something fun while you're there If you stay at the shore club you can change things up and go checkout this tiki bar. That's in the middle of the water. And so what you do. Is you take a catamaran. With short club they take you out there and they can drop you off and you can enjoy a few hours in the beautiful turquoise water listening to music drinking your.
