"Solutions rather than honoring the pain and the truth of Intergenerational trauma and systemic racism in sajjan on the soviet that. We don't do any of this in a vacuum. There's one study that telling a friends about your goals makes you give up on them faster. I love it. I would not sell my friends anything like i don't. I don't understand that like you know 'cause 'cause gosh people post on their social media like i'm going to be losing weight or i'm going to be getting shaper while i think part of it is that they say they're gonna do this. So people congratulate them already and so they get that dopamine. Effective like oh. I'm already happy now. Because i said i'm going to do something. And then they never did it. I agree and i also think it plays into what you said earlier where people are talking or thinking about it rather than being at doing it then. It's like you know a lot of times the people that are busy being in doing it. Don't have time to brag about it to boast about it or or to post on social media about it in. Its saw the minute you find yourself likes or or comments on social media should probably give you pause to dig deeper and do some personal inquiry on What's going on. What wouldn't need is going on method. I'm trying to fill through facebook or twitter and some other misguided tactic. I think people are getting better at that too as i. You know we've been doing our podcast now For sixteen years on seventeen season early on people were always wanting to come on about like projects that they're speculating about doing and thinking about doing it which is like well you know. It's hard to talk about something that might happen. And then what if you don't do it and then something comes back a year from now and they're like well that's just somebody who's cried wolf. Yeah it was. It was kind of hard to get that idea across to some people. But i feel like we don't get that as much anymore. Maybe we're just blocking at. I know the other thing too is like if guesses really. This is a talk. Show secret here if the gas is really really really hard to get They're gonna suck. Yeah famous they are young especially. Yeah yeah yeah like. If you think about the most famous person who would be the most amazing talk show host guest and we've had a few of those people you know and one of them is a was almost kind of comically bad was amanda lepore. Who everyone's like you have to interview the poor she's fascinating she's a legit. She's a queen and shares ideas and our songs and stuff like that. Or it'll be can have like that. Wonderful charles fox theme one woman instead we got wonder woman versus trump and like the whole premise of it is like humanity is greedy and selfish. And if you gave humanity the ability to bank a wish they would all wanna kill each other and be evil and destroy the we're all just want power and like where is where the people who want world peace and the thing. Yeah like people that want everybody to have food. Think about this. It's like some guy on tv makes it possible to. That's the premise of the film. You wish on something you can wish on something and the wish comes true but it's like the monkey's paw you pay a price for it right. I guess but that's ideas within the monkey's paw paws most important to you in the monkey's paw the there's an un expected consequences so like there's this story of jeannie. Jeannie visits a man who has a tiny dick and the guys like. I wish my penis was bigger and the genie's like well okay young man i will grant your wish. What and he's like. Yeah i want my dick to touch the floor. And so the next day the guy wakes up and his feet are really short. And i'm like okay. Let's let's this is wonder woman nineteen eighty-four logic. The man asked the genie for a bigger dick. The genie just heard whatever he wanted to hear and and fucked him up you know then give him what he wanted to punish the guy for desiring things. And that's what i feel like rich people in the hollywood have this idea on the rest of americans..

"Strange person to worship. Absolutely. Well, I think it was. Richie rich. There's another person who is big. Huge on the scene and about Collagen injected lips that's Amanda Lepore Amanda. Long Reggie gave her good competition. But yeah, he's a young guy who was modeled himself after the carotene character richie rich. But he had so much plastic surgery and college implants. They just look like Amanda Lepore. And do you know that Richie rich was also created by John Goldwater? Just, the pussycats and all these people ever actually hang out with each other. Richie rich meets water well. I mean, you know eventually like jared kind of got into the club scene and I remember I actually did a book party for John Goldwater. He was he wrote a book but I don't think it ever got published, which is too bad. But he had an interesting story. He was a total self made man of course you know the kids were not but we had fun traveling all over the world. But I think that what made me not want to do it anymore as I like to work I like to sing I liked to write songs I like to go on the road I'd like. All that and so having this cushy life. Which I had for a while it was just not enough. Not, I'm right there with you sister. It's like you could give me all the money in Richardson, the world, but it's like I like an joy the work. And, that is the ultimate richness that's right I mean without that I just felt bored bored bored. You can go to great restaurants every day you can go on fantastic shopping trips but without having this sense and another thing is I've always been like a person who loves to have a mission Does it bother you then it's like the rise of. Of Reality Television and celebrity culture and people who becoming famous for purposely not doing anything well, I think Celebi taunts were kind of the start of that. We're the start of that being famous for being famous but although we were more creative, you know you had some people like I remember Saul de he now designs for lamb. I remember that Kabuki Kabuki who was like a go go dancer at limelight he now does. The makeup for sex and the city of vogue has done like features with him. and. So a lot of the people kind of they were so creative for me with my music and all that. That when everything crumbled, we just went into really doing these creative things. We loved you know and I think like you said, a lot of people fell to the wayside and and now with reality TV I really kind of feel we did IT I. Would say, yeah. But I think the problem is that we're having is that you're you're getting a lot of young people sort of daydreaming or fantasizing about you know all their problems being solved. If they can just have a reality television project, I can't tell you how many guests we've had on this gas that as soon as we were done taping there that well, I'm working with so and so to do a reality television where following my exciting life with cameras and people approached us to do a reality. TV show and I, said, what are you GonNa fill me like taking a shit and Peggy my nose Is believe it or not because I'm partners in a gallery called exaggerate in. So what happened is story house production which has produced shows for Bravo read about us in a magazine and they came and spent. Two days shooting us for reality. I don't know if it will get picked up however, they were there a legitimate you know it's not like somebody following us around with a little camera came to the gallery and I think that you know a lot of the people that were there had no experience. But one thing about me and New York is I went to Strasbourg institute I loved it. So they knew that they were telling me now. Okay. For this scene, we want you to go up tap perfecto on the shoulders and just give them how give them how you know. It was like Acton for me and I'm sure that like Nina leaks which a lot of people really like she started out as an actress. So I'm sure that some of these people were kind of actresses some of them were not of course, but the more successful ones that are really kind of doing things probably had that experience. And you know I can say what it was like for those two days it was it was very it was more like with me it was being directed. You know more more like not that much reality but being directed and like I had to go in and take over a photo shoot in this kind of thing to confront this person about this, you need to tell them that and all that kind of stuff. Yeah I what is it? Those reality TV shows some of the people do doing that kind of stuff were fighting for writers credit because I. Think you get more money as a writer and so they finally just said Okay we'll label you as producers well, I know Nina leaks is one of the highest paid you know people in the reality show business and now she said spinoffs of the trump and I guess glee and other things that she does but yeah, I. Think of reality shows more as acting to tell you the truth and The only thing is to me like with the club kids we were kind of fabulous because we had the outfits we had the names we were really and we had this crazy life. Live. Live experience. Really live face to face and is actually put together a lot of music and culture and costumes and experiences props, I mean God. Guess Everybody just likes her because she's like. Don't let the door hit you with the lowest splitter. You know that kind of thing she comes up with these really quirky and you know the way she says it. Now Girl Screaming Rachel. Pleasure having you. Also have you brought another CD here, Chicago Trax records, the twenty fifth anniversary collection as the DVD and a CD included of some of the best music, and of course you've probably. Heard already before in the beginning by Chuck Roberts happiness, two of a kind, and it's a cold world by Frankie knuckles among many other tracks I. Think a lot of those you haven't heard before rule is very interesting that George really picked some of the more underground things that people really didn't know, and this is the songs that you tracks that you picked yourself. George Yeah Anytime I. It's weird because racial kind of let's see whatever they want. So it would be like Oh, I wanna do this today and then she'll be like okay and then With her album even I was just like I'm going to put together your album. So give me some music and then she me or she had a computer issue and now ever computer. So that's how he got all her music I. Guess It wasn't even released but yeah. I looked down and listen to. Of. Music. Yes and some of that stuff like you know doesn't sound like this kind of works in progress there's just literally like a a beat or I mean Maybe it was unmastered but. Literally. I mean without that I just felt bored bored bored. You can go to great restaurants every day you can go on fantastic shopping trips but without having this sense and another thing is I've always been like a person who loves to have a mission Does it bother you then it's like the rise of. Of Reality Television and celebrity culture and people who becoming famous for purposely not doing anything. Well, I think Celebi taunts were kind of the start of that. We're the start of that being famous for being famous but although we were more creative, you know you had some people like I remember Saul de he now designs for lamb. I remember that. Kabuki Kabuki. who was like a go go dancer at lime he now does. The makeup for sex and the city of vogue has done like features with him. and. So a lot of the people kind of they were so creative for me with my music and all that. That when everything crumbled, we just went into really doing these creative things that we loved you know and I think like you said, a lot of people fell to the wayside and and now with reality TV I, really kind of feel we did IT I. Would say, yeah but I think the problem is that we're having is that you're you're getting a lot of young people sort of daydreaming or fantasizing about you know all their problems being solved they can just have a reality television project. I can't tell you how many guests we've had on this five gas that as soon as we were done taping there that well I'm working with so and so to do a reality television where following my exciting life with cameras and people approached us to do a reality TV show and I said, what are you? GonNa fill me like taking a shit and peggy my nose. Is believe it or not because I'm partners in a gallery called exaggerate. Knowledge where you live now well, come back and forth 'cause I've got a place in Chicago and I love Chicago I'll always love Chicago but norlander, I like that too and exaggerate it's like go bigger go home. It's a gallery that's got leopard carpet red walls. So what happened is story house production which has produced shows for Bravo read about us in a magazine and they came and. Spent two days shooting us for reality I don't know if it will get picked up however, they were there a legitimate it's not like somebody following us around with a little camera came to the gallery and I think that you know a lot of the people that were there had no experience. But one thing about me and New York is I went to Strasbourg institute I loved it. So they knew that they were telling me now. Okay. For this scene, we want you to go up tap perfecto on the shoulders and just give them how give them how you know. It was like, Acton for me and I'm sure that like Nina leaks which a lot of people really like she started out as an actress. So I'm sure that some of these people were kind of actresses some of them were not of course, but the more successful ones that are really kind of doing things probably had that experience. And you know I can say what it was like for those two days it was it was very, it was more like with me it was being directed. You know more more like not that much reality but being directed and like I had to go in and take over a photo shoot in this kind of thing to confront this person about this, you need to tell them that and all that kind of stuff. Yeah I, what is it the? Reality TV shows some of the people do doing that kind of stuff were fighting for writers credit because I think you get more money as a writer, and so they finally just said Okay we'll label you as producers well I know Nina leaks is one of the highest paid you know people in the reality show business and now she said spinoffs of the trump and I guess glee and other things that she does. But yeah, I think of reality shows more as acting to tell you the truth and. The only thing is to me like with the club kids we were kind of fabulous because we had the outfits we had the names we were really, and we had this crazy life went live. Live experience. Really, live face to face and it is actually put together a lot of music and culture and costumes and experiences props, I mean God. You're the one of the few guests we know that actually knows how to do puppy show. Allies me. How to work a glue gun and it's like I could say that you know as much as you love named lakes, she can't work glue now say. No she can't be fabulous. And I guess everybody just likes her because she's like. Don't. Let the door hit you with the lowest splitter. You know that kind of thing she comes up with these really quirky and you know the way she says it. Now Girl Screaming Rachel. It's a pleasure having you. Also have you brought another CD here Chicago trax records, the twenty fifth anniversary collection as the DVD and a CD included of some of the best music, and of course you've probably. Heard. Already before in the beginning by Chuck Roberts happiness two of a kind and it's a cold world by Frankie knuckles.

"I thought I was like, we don't pander in facts. We pandering gossip, which is really the currency of the modern age. What's the word on the street, the word on the street is this amend of the poor. If you remember recently came out with them in warr. I believe it was in the last five years. And in that memoir she alleges that she either had a tryst with Kanye west or a affair with Connie west. Now, both of those words are very loaded. So I'm using one or the other. I don't want to say that it is like confirmed an affair or confirmed just a one off trust, but a lot of reports back in the day were circulating after she came out with this memoir and she was like, yeah, I hooked up with Konia west, blah, blah, blah. Of course, Connie west did not comment on this and the bulk of the news media round. It was insane. Transsexual Amanda. Lepore lying about Kanye west debt it up. But you know, I gotta say the New York, our world, which Connie wants to be a part of so bad. So bad loves Amanda. Lepore they live for me. I was gonna say, like the Konya gays and like the mayoral report fans. Yeah, it's close. It's one flat circle and the people that are. Zest with Amanda Lepore and her, you know, fashion aesthetic and people who like Connie west in the fashion world is literally have lots of people. And so it would make sense to me that they were running or are running in very similar circles. Because once you've gone to so many club nights and art scenes and fashion openings like you start meeting or seeing within, like, you know, New York MAGS, this is what happened in New York this week, ground up start seeing like the same cast of characters on you at this point. Like whether we like it or not is very high, like echelon and celebrity culture nowadays and like the circles they run, but we do. He is. Yeah, that stature. So we have to talk about in like that and it just it's just so you know, who's running around with of course, and it makes on test. If Amanda Lepore is telling the truth. And again, like I don't want to verify alleged rumors, but it was in her memoir and I really don't think that's something someone just makes up. However, I. I was reading some fashion, New Yorker t. on Twitter, which again is all alleged and it's messy bottoms trying to get back at each other for things that happened at the magilla archive like five years ago, but. So people were like, maybe it wasn't Trump is Scott that removed Amanda Lepore from the cover in was KANU west or Kim that asked Connie to remove mandala from the cover. And now do I think that is a reach? Absolutely. And do I believe anything that has to come up with the Kardashians? No. But does that kind of cross a few diagrams? I've been seeing recently just in the general cultural consciousness? Yes. And I can't dock Smith sources, but we won't. But when I think of a, he that alleges some things, yeah, we'll only want to say is, you know, since when is the person who claims to be with celebrity does also celebrity, they're not lying about that was the neat. I was saying, what are you saying right now? It's like respecting in tongues to me. There. Like you're trying not yet suit and I get it but like, jeez, and we're trying to be created statement, took me down. I wasn't expecting well. Yeah. Also, this is no people never end. Yeah, I was going to say, we're going down a dangerous road. We don't need to, but I will say that if you think Amanda Lepore sleeping with Kanye west is the craziest thing you've ever heard, then you've really never been to New York and you'd really never met men that sleep with trans women. So anyways, that is that's how that I also want to kind of talk about. Another interesting celebrity byline. I read this week, so Chloe merits famous for being a meme of about. I know torso in long legs. Falesa game on. He's on the internet or has corrupted my mind. I'm just in a, I bought that just feed information to and they're like, is this car? And I'm like. Yes, I think longer existed than celebrity stratosphere..
