Rebecca Weber: A Structural Voting Problem Promoted by Democrats

"Are reading Seamus column here, make some very good points for example. Mitch McConnell out there publicly endorsing and supporting candidates who were clearly anti Trump looking at rhino Lisa Murkowski, giving her money. He also spent big money on Murkowski, even though she voted to confirm kanti Brown Jackson while she voted against Brett Kavanaugh. This is an in your face move, meanwhile, you have Kevin McCarthy out there, and he is covertly and has been covertly supporting establishment candidates and trying to sabotage the campaigns of true conservative candidates out there. That's exactly right. And we saw that a lot of the candidates hand picked by Kevin McCarthy lost races. But again, major media knows that people know the Trump's name, the average person might not know who Kevin McCarthy is, unless you're paying attention to politics, right? And even if you look at what happened with the Oz betterman race, I don't think it's because Trump endorsed a bad candidate. I think that 70% of the democratic vote was mailed in prior to the debate. And we know that the debate was a bit of a goal. And we know this as a sediment campaign really misled the public. Saying that his stroke was not very severe. So we're seeing this over and over again. There's definitely a structural voting problem. We've seen that. We see how the Democrats are using COVID to implement and extend a vote by mail in early voting schemes. So this is something that we here at a Mac or very focused about or members care. We had over 12,000 amac members who participated as poll watchers, but this was an issue impacting the entire country and we've got a really work aggressively to remedy.

Andy Mangione: Concerns of Voter Fraud in Senior Homes

"Elections when you had, for example, Wisconsin, you had nursing homes where a 100% of the people were voting. It was just not possible because many of them were comatose, and yet they were still able to vote. Are you guys concerned about stuff like that happening at other places? Absolutely, we are concerned. If it's happening and if you look at what happened in Wisconsin, they launched an investigation and discovered that the voter fraud in nursing homes was rampant and abuse and this abuse occurred statewide. So we are very concerned that if it's happening in Wisconsin, it's happening in other states as well. And what we want to do is draw attention to what is occurred in the past and be proactive for amac members and their loved ones in these residential care facilities to spot elder voter abuse, okay? This kind of fraud and to do something about it and they give them something to do something about it. And

Andy Mangione: Fighting Elder Abuse for Conservative Seniors

"You guys hearing reports? Why did you decide to launch the safeguarding effort? Well, if we're following the lead of the American constitutional rights union, they have been in the nursing homes with their bill of rights that they use in facilities across the country to spell out exactly what the rights are for residents of assisted living facilities, residents of nursing homes and residents of other senior living facilities. They've developed a robust website at center for vulnerable voters dot org that we've joined in partnership with them and we as amac are the leading voice for conservative seniors and we wanted to make sure that our members had what they needed to spot out voter elder voter abuse fraud in nursing homes as you know Todd many of our members have loved ones in these facilities. And what the ACR U has done is bring some fraud that they've discovered throughout the country to light and kind of expose the problem here. And they've developed wonderful assets, as I mentioned the Bill of Rights, the senior is actually the senior citizen voter Bill of rights. They've developed a guide for citizens and family members that want to protect the rights of vulnerable voters. They've developed HCR U boat fraud hotline. And we're going to be exposing our membership our 2.3 million members to these assets and to these resources so they can be very well prepared as we rolled into the midterms.

Elon Musk Takes 9.2% Stake in Twitter, Stock Soars

"So the guy's got a big Twitter account, shall we say? It's good news for the company because it had sort of been, I think in some ways kind of left for dead. It hadn't figured out how to monetize its business in ways that were going to really help it going forward. It had grown users. I would say over the last three years, we saw an improvement in the user base. So that was good news, and it certainly a sticky platform, but you have to be able to do something with all of that, right? So you have all these people there, you're growing the user base, but there's lots of competitors out there, and if you're not able to properly monetize the company, then it becomes very challenging. Anyway, so he is tweeting over the last couple of weeks. Hey, you know, should there be another platform? Do you think that Twitter really embraces free speech? So we got everybody kind of worked up and then lo and behold, it turns out that it was, I believe, on March 14th, that he made the purchase. So that means that was what about two weeks ago? Shares are up 50% since then. I think he bought it for just about $3 billion. So he's made a pretty sum. The question is, does he continue to make money going forward? And my answer, my thought on that is, yes, I mean, maybe not this week. Maybe the stock settles down, but ultimately, if he can join the board and I would think that he would want to join the board and I would think that the board would actually want him on there. Then he's going to have a hand in helping this company sort of figure out its strategy going forward, which means one being all encompassing in terms of bringing as many people to the platform as possible and allowing a lot of different viewpoints on that platform, which may mean getting a new tech team in, frankly, to adjust the algorithms so that you're not squashing things needlessly. And then the other thing is once he's on the board, maybe he can think even about how the company incorporates, I don't know, say something like crypto in its future, right? He's a huge crypto enthusiast. So maybe there's a play in this Twitter space again as it comes to monetize its user base to incorporate crypto and then the other thing that I'd be thinking about and I know we don't necessarily want to think this maybe there's a play here to sell the company ultimately to a private equity firm or to maybe a bigger tech firm or hey, maybe even like a PayPal that would be able to work in some of that crypto stuff. Now I'm just talking theoretically and I want to get to ahead of ourselves because right now I think we should all be sort of excited. I'm excited. The Elon Musk is coming to Twitter because I see him as kind of well just a revolutionary. He's a smart, brilliant guy, irreverent guy. He recognizes the insanity that's out there right now. Hey, Jack Dorsey even recognizes it. In fact, he was quoted today as saying, you know, you feels bad that he's kind of created this very single lane platform where only one view is tolerated. So I think there's a real chance here to improve upon this and look, I mean, my answer to bad speech is always more speech. You need people to be able to speak freely. And so if you can create that platform there with Twitter, then that's really going to be a very, very good thing. So ultimately, I think for shareholders, they should be looking at this and just rejoicing. Of course, they probably are because the shares are up 30% right now. But long term, there may be some real upside in this company. I mentioned sort of inability for a lot of different voices to be heard. And it brings me to one of our sponsors of this program, which is a Mac, they are doing what they can, everything they can to make sure all voices are hurt, especially conservative voices. I mean, it seems like a lot of voices shall we say are protected, but not when it comes to conservatives. And this is why amac is out there, the association of mature American citizens is standing up for you, standing up for the future of America conservative voices there for mature Americans that believe in freedom. And all the freedom loving things in American so want and want to hold dear. There's 2.3 million members here that share your values my values and you know what you get all kinds of great discounts, all that good stuff. So travel, hotel, cell phone plans, insurance plans, just go to amac dot U.S. slash Regan, my last name, REG and you can sign up. It's only $16 a year and you're going to get all this free stuff. So it's really, really worth doing. You'll make it back in a day. I'm so glad to be able to tell you about it. I really think it's something you should look at. So again, amac dot U.S. slash vegan for your membership and take a stand there for America. I want to get to oil because oil is continuing to move higher in today's market and I don't think we've seen anything yet. I actually think that oil is going to get really, really high. We're looking at about a 101 $102 per barrel right now. And that's in part, it's been eased because the president came out and said he was releasing the strategic petroleum reserve over the course of the next 6 months, which would be a 180 million barrels that would be released into the oil supply, but I'm going to tell you this, it's not enough. It's not enough, and it's only 6 months, and we've got to figure out a better long-term solution here. Because we can't be dependent on the likes of Russia. I'm sorry, but this is truly awful what we're witnessing right now. And what came out over the weekend is devastating and you can look at it in many places. I don't even want to show you. The kind of thing that makes you sick to your stomach and you think how can a nation be so horrible so horrible to its neighbors so horrible to its brothers and sisters and cousins and we see Russia, Russia is clearly capable of some pretty horrific awful stuff. So let me reiterate. We don't want to be giving them any business. We don't want to be giving them any money any any trade whatsoever in light of everything that we have learned. It's time for the United States of America to be completely self reliant. That means natural gas can't be coming from Russia. By the way, not just us. The free world in general. All of Europe needs to say enough. Now, it's coming out, you know, in the last 24 hours, we've heard more and more that we're looking towards greater sanctions, the U.S. both and the Europeans together are looking to sanction more of Russia, but I just question why we haven't done this already. What are we waiting for? I mean, we should be doing everything we possibly can to give Ukraine the assistance it needs. And that means sanctions like Russia has never seen before, that means military equipment to aid the Ukrainians, that means intelligence gathering, helping them, however we can. There's a lot we can do without actually finding ourselves in a situation that would be World War three. But we can't sit back and pretend that none of this is happening. We can't sit back and allow a monster like Vladimir Putin to do what we've seen him do. Meanwhile, oil, that's why I say you haven't seen anything yet. I mean, if you want to, if you want to play this one, the commodities fund is the way to go because there's no way that oil is going to go down any time in the near future. In fact, as we go into summer months, I would anticipate it's going to go higher and higher and higher. The refining capacity changes in the summer and there's additional things that need to be done to the oil in order to get it into gas tanks. And so that's going to be problematic. It comes at the same time when you have in the in the driving season, right? Some are driving season and it's all happening as the entire world just reacts with horror to Russia. So as more and more people and more and more countries, hopefully more and more countries, I'd like to see more and more countries shut Russia off, that means less of a supply out there that would drive up of course the price of oil. So it's so important that we start thinking strategically about how we fix this. And I'm sorry. I realize everybody wants these EVs. It's not going to happen. Tomorrow. And we need help tomorrow. We need help very much in the near future. So whatever can be done, we need to have some adults in the room in terms of our energy policy to think through this so that the American people are not paying the price with $9 at the gas pumps because that's what we're going to be looking at. And the answer is not giving them $800 in Maine or $300 in in California or saying, okay, we're going to forgive the 25 cents per gallon tax in Connecticut. No. The answer is having a long-term plan, a real solution. To make sure that we have energy for as long as we need it. For as many people as we need it. And that means a multi prong approach. I mean, I just can't believe the stupidity of these administration that wants to sit there and keep telling us, you know why? Here's why. There's no leadership. Absolutely positively no leadership. These people are all worried about getting reelected, and they've convinced the world that climate change is the biggest problem out there. So how are they supposed to turn around and say, well, actually, it turns out that Russia's the biggest problem out there, and now it's compounded by the fact that our lives are going to be harder as Americans because oil prices gas prices, energy prices are all moving up up and away. This is just one massive mess and I hope I hope. There are some smarter heads that will prevail. Look, I think if not, we're very likely looking at a recession. I've told you that before, I think a recession is very much something that could be in the cards, only because you can't have $9 a gallon and not have some kind of effect. We're going to see because we're coming into mid April here, how this affects earnings. All the companies with their earnings reports are going to be coming out. We'll get a sense of whether or not the consumer really can withstand these higher energy prices. I don't think they can. I mean, look, I guess it's good because people are going back to work and so maybe they have a little bit more money, you're seeing that reflected in the unemployment rate, which continues to drop. The number of jobs added, which was more than expected, maybe people are going to have a little bit more cash on hand to pay for this higher oil, but look, I think there's a real risk that we're heading into a recession as a result of these higher energy prices, not that I would trade it. I mean, I actually think that, you know, you make choices in life and you make choices as a country, and sometimes you just need to stand up for what is right. And standing up for Ukraine is the right thing to do. I want to get to legacy precious metals that I told you about in the beginning of the show because with all the chaos in the world right now, probably saying, how do I how do I manage this if I'm trying to think about my retirement? How do I hedge out all this inflation? And one of the very best ways to do this time and time again is gold. I mean, I have believed that for decades now. And I've been proven right. It's not always perfect, right? There'll be times when maybe the market out performs gold, but then when the market's down, that gold comes in pretty handy. And right now we're looking at nearly $2000 an ounce, they're on gold. So this is an investment worth having. This is an investment worth holding. And my Friends over at legacy precious metals have been doing this for years for about 40 years. It's a family run business, and they can help you. So I want to give you their number one 8 6 6 5 8 9 zero 5 6 zero one 8 6 6 5 8 9 zero 5 6 zero legacy p.m. investments dot com Charles Thornton. He runs the company. He was just on the show the other day really wonderful group of people that can assist you as you try and figure out how you're going to hedge out your future. How you're going to hedge out inflation because you're getting it one way or the other. I mean, best case scenario, the fed gets two to 3% a year, right? But right now we're looking at 6.7%, 7.7 .9%. It's like sort of a dyslexic moment. 7.9% in terms of inflation. I think it's going to get far worse than that.

I want you to go to amac dot U.S. slash Regan for your membership. You'll get a special deal there. Again, go to amac U.S. slash Regan to become an apec member. Now, it's important. I mean, they've got all kinds of things, as I mentioned, they're going to be trying to get through this filibuster, drop the filibuster anyway, right? That's part of the idea tonight with the talking filibuster. Look, senator Manchin and kyrsten sinema, senator sinema. They've indicated they're not budging on it. And yet, these guys keep coming back and coming back and coming back. I guess they want to be able to say to their voters, what we tried, we tried and in order to really be able to do something we need to have control, we need to have control of the Senate. If they have control of the Senate, we are all going to be up a creek without a paddle. All right, I want to turn to what's going on in Ukraine right now because this increasingly is becoming really quite an issue. We saw Afghanistan as a disaster now. Ukraine is carrying on in that way. In fact, we just got word today that the U.S. is delivering military aid military aid to Ukraine as Russia continues to have all these security demands. Of course, Russia, from their perspective, right if you're in Russia, they don't really like that Ukraine is right there with NATO and not such a friend. And so they feel vulnerable as a result, and to be like, you know, if we had Chinese troops or Russian troops right there in Canada,

Mike is at democrat moderates and progressives have no agreement and how to spend the budget money and what republicans are trying to do is driving intra-party wedge between them to get them the scale back on all of the spending and progressive. Democrats are so concerned. Mike that their caucus released a statement that virtually holds. The bipartisan infrastructure. It's extraordinary and. I don't know i mean i'm because i don't understand the republicans who voted for round one with the one trillion dollar infrastructure. I get it. We need to fix our bridges. There's a rift between the progressives in the moderates are now keep in mind bike that these members of congress are gonna go back in their districts. So they're going to be away from being shielded In the bubble that is washington. Dc and they're going to be hearing from their constituents about all of this spending. They could come back in september with quite a different perspective after hearing it from their constituents not only spending but on all the other issues immigration the inflation all of the misinformation and has and that hesitation but confusion over cove. Nineteen out wearing masks. Not wearing masks. There's going to be a lot of issues. They'll be dealing with their constituents but let them hear about it so don't give up. Hope we're going to continue to remind them and to let them know how outrageous all of the spending is but we believe that their constituents in their districts when they get back there will also let them know about it to. The profit margin on that at a certain home improvement store lee pretty significant and you might even be giving as much as two hundred fifty of that ten thousand dollars to their their charitable account. We will be opening up. What is the second biggest radio station in the country over four hundred affiliates satellite radio streaming apps and a variety of other formats that we have here To you for some ideas that you have or some ideas you're implementing so the whole country can hear them. We have this national platform It's been used the way that i use it and it's never been used the way that we are going to use it when the book comes out so it'll help if you have a copy if you don't that doesn't prevent you from participating. I want everybody to participate as many people as possible. And i think having read the book and going through it. You're gonna have a lot of great ideas that will come to you and you can drop them down and we can discuss them and go with them and ideas do have consequences. That's the old line. And it's true. And i have many in the book but i don't pretend to have all of them as i wrote and liberty and tyranny a conservative manifesto at the end i had well over thirty ideas and suggestions and that is certainly the case in this book. But that can help also motivate and instigate and trigger trigger other ideas to and some of you who are involved in them as well. I've been an activist. It's gonna teenager. So i have a lot of ideas but many of you do as well. So we're gonna share them see if they can. They can work their way into various communities and so forth. So i want you to keep your chins up. I want you to get ready some days. I feel like the weight of the world on my shoulders but other days. I feel very excited. All these really feel very excited but we will do everything we can. That's the goal here so we're only seven days away really less than that. I'm all geared up ready to roll. I hope you are too This isn't something that can happen. Overnight doesn't need to happen overnight but it is something that needs to happen on. The less the silent majority will be silent. No longer and our goal is to have all the other media platforms that believe in this country whether they be patriotic conservative patriotic. Whatever they yes. Let them join us. Yes let them mimic us. It's okay it's okay because the goal here is to galvanize as many people as we can rallies many people as we can. That's my m sank. Put aside the little differences about this or that. We're talking about clawing our way back. These classrooms these corporate boardrooms and on and on and on they are creating hostile working environments. aren't they. They are promoting a racist ideology. They have different reasons for it but in the end it all comes from the same place. We'll talk about that too. Big media big tech these other corporations tactics and strategies. And i hope it's going to be a very fulsome learning experience for you and me but again when you get the books. Oh my goodness take your time one page at a time. I think it's really gonna draw you in one chapter at a time if you have one of those yellow markers and you'd like to use those. Make sure you have one with you or if you have those little yellow sticky you wanna put on a page you can do that to some of. You may be focused in one particular area versus another such as defending capitalism and that sort of thing or defending the classroom of that sort of thing. Michael here is for us all to defend all into oppose all of what they're doing because they've broken it down into so many different movements that they've spawned and of course. This is part of the tactics so the last chapter is called we choose. Liberty could've easily been called pushback but it doesn't matter what it's called it matters. What's in it we're in this together. That's the point seven short days away and we're going to do other things on the radio program to of course because there's a lot going on a lot that needs to be discussed but in my case when i write something like this as you all know from the other nine books. It's about what we do here. It relates to our mission right. Jeremy bar guy them so ladies and gentlemen. We salute our armed forces. Police officers firefighters and emergency personnel. Buddhist Lessons on Anxiety Mitigation With Dharma Teacher Leslie Booker

"So the first thing you talked about when we were discussing anxiety mitigation strategies one of them was movement and the other was the opposite of movement stopping pausing. And you used the phrase seeing what's needing to be known. What did you mean by that. Everything that we need to know can be found in the body and the breath and a lotta time to sort of bypass over that very loud message. That's coming from us. But when we pause for a moment and check into the felt sense on the body to the expression of the breath and that can be a holding of the breath or a lot of deep breathing gives us information as to what's happening inside of us and so when anxiety arises in my body is not typically anxiety for anxiety sake. There's something that needs to be known there sometimes as you had too much caffeine today amac note to self. That's is coming from or you really should have gone for walken and musuem energy through or you get a really rough night's sleep last night so let's try and get better sleep tonight or this thing is a lot to us this. What showing up and so my body and my brother gives me this information and it allows me to course correct either in real time or the next day to make sure that there is some regulation my body to give me the starting point that ground for move move from because anxiety comes in a lot of different flavors and sizes right so some of it is debilitating these big giant monsters that we can't seem to move and some are a little bit more manageable that we can sort of hold in the palm of her hand and we can see it right sized and from there. We have a little bit more autonomy with our anxiety.

Seattle to open more permanent COVID-19 vaccination sites in Rainier Beach, West Seattle, Lumen Field Event Center

"Been reporting how seattle is turning some of its testing sites into permanent vaccination sites starting today the rainier beach side is prepared to give about two thousand shots a week and so is second location in west seattle. Kyw's josh amac nickeled visited the rainier beach vaccination clinic today joshua high and describe this vaccination site for us well like every other side. It's open to people who are eligible. Mostly that means seniors over sixty five but there are a few other categories to like home health workers anyway. Everyone who shows up here has an appointment and they walk up and they check in at a table and then when it's their turn they passed. They passed through one of several shipping containers on a train or on the back of a truck and inside there is an administrator in a little booth. And there's someone from the fire department and that person gives you your shot and then you walk out the back of the shipping container into an outdoor area and then you hang out under a tent for like fifteen minutes with a view of the lake all right well. Did you get to speak to anyone there. Yeah i spoke to a lot of seniors there in the recovery tent. And they told me before today trying to get a vaccination appointment was a real chore. Roberta bird right said she couldn't sleep. She wanted an appointment so badly. Given times i wake up you know in the morning. Three o'clock two o'clock in during the throughout the day. And then of course the site that we look. It's like places. Like well up in tacoma and you know really far out. And i'm not going to those places so i just kept looking and looking so now opened up so she also got on wait lists at pharmacies and they told her they'd call but they never did and then she heard from a friend that the southeast seattle senior center was helping seniors make appointments and so she called. They called me back right away like within a few days and schedule being. I'm here bird right. Told me that she had concerns about the safety of the vaccine so it was reassuring for her to go through a community group. Yeah that's good news that roberta got her shot. And just you know. We've been hearing stories about grandkids helping their grandparents schedule. An appointment you know for a variety of reasons you know. Maybe the grandparents don't have a smartphone or computer or maybe like roberta's case the the grandparents are trying to just striking out but in this case it sounds like the senior center is stepping in. Yes and that is the strategy here. They're still far more demand for vaccines than there is supply and so these new vaccination sites are favoring referrals they're working closely with community groups and those groups are doing the outreach. Linda green runs the southeast seattle senior center. That's the group that helped this person earlier. Find their appointment and she says she got her staff spending all their time. Basically going after vaccination appointments for seniors. But it's hard because there just aren't enough vaccines so she said it feels like a competition. Well it's a competition because now we're have folks who are competing you've got the folks who are seventy five years old and older. We've got the sixty five year old. We've got those folks who are under fifty but are also caretakers for those who are sixty five and over or seventy and over. And i know that we have to start from the top the most vulnerable and work our way down but it still is somewhat competitive as to. Who's going to get it first. So all of those those areas we still have to define but we are of the opinion that the goal is for everyone to get vaccinated so whomever we can fit into that classification. That's what we're doing. Yeah and in that competition for vaccines. It helps to have a community group to help you get an appointment. But eventually officials tell me the problem will cease to be a vaccine shortage problem and will become a communication problem. You know trying to get enough people to show up and use all the vaccines right. And we're hearing. There will be more and more vaccinations slots opening up later as well and and another thing. We learned today. Josh was later this month. There's going to be another max. Vaccination site opening up in seattle At the former centurylink field now known as linfield yes and with that site. They're going to start small in the middle of the month but as soon as enough vaccines are on the way that site will be able to push out twenty one thousand vaccinations per day. They told me yeah. That sounds like a lot of shots. When is that going to be. They wouldn't say for sure. Only the it'll happen as soon as possible. And if you're a senior and you want to be proactive linda. Green at the southeast seattle senior center says give them a call. And they'll help you. You don't even have to be in seattle proper anywhere in king. County is fine and then of course you can also use the washington phase finder website. Which helped at least one senior here today.

This top cancer scientist thought he knew a lot about cancer. Then he got it.

"I wanted. I didn't want to have not only smoldering away in my pelvis. bit also small does away and you hit. It's always in your head as much as i could rationalize it and say i'm very scientific in my approach things and it wasn't a problem every day would come to me at three o'clock in the morning when i sat a worrying about all the other things worry about three o'clock in the morning you will saying parts of them and the body that they will never really say themselves. Also get tonight. It's an extraordinary thing that that was true kind of but it is still amazes me today. That people want to see the inside. Bids cannot have my video. I want to share it on social media. you know. i've seen all your videos on youtube. Can you make sure my prostate goes up in this episode. It's a franken. Feel this conversation about an experience. Men don often talked publicly about. So let's meet the scientist and the surgeon interested in nature. This is professor robe ramsey as a molecular biologist and kansas scientist and on the saudi also makes art. He's a black belt in karate rossi's by his husband father of two children but trying to understand how the natural world works was a i love of his and i've always been driven by trying to understand biology and i'm also a little bit inclined to like machinery and structures and the way things work and essentially sells Machines and i like the way they operate and they're really have siamese different facets to them and of causing disease machinery goes wrong for me. The very first day i was in an operating theatre watching people take cancerous. Lump sexually as it was then breast cancer. I was instantly captivated. This is professor. Declan murphy lading urologist and kansas surgeon. He's been in a for over a decade but you can he he's rh lilt and even though it's cancer he's dealing with everyday like rob. He's loved his job. Died dot. I was in the operating theatre was meeting these patients before and after as a medical student and honestly i just became almost overwhelmed by the idea that people will allow other people to do surgery on them. That it's such a huge privilege to be allowed to do surgery but i was fascinated by urology because it's it's quite a a big field work. In it's everything from the kidneys dancer. The bladder and the prostate and the pain is in. The testicles are all areas in the urology domain that can be affected by cancer. Now dick lennon rob happened to be call. Eggs at the pay to mccallum will pay to mac cancel santa in melbourne as a scientist rob's focused on amongst other tricky conundrums developing vaccines that target gastrointestinal cancers like colorectal cancer as a surgeon declines leading the way with us robotics in the operating theatre and often the cancer arena. You'll find that scientists and surgeons just don't traditionally makes much but robin declan like many others at paid amac a different because i want to do science. That reflects the needs of people with cancer and the clinicians trading them are remember being at a hospital where declan was doing a tag team robotic procedure on a patient was having some colorectal surgery plus a prostatectomy and i was there on saturday morning with my eyes pocket collecting some samples clincal trial without doing their in the operating room because these patients have agreed to be part of a trial in that case. That was a patient to kansas. Quite complex work but rob wanted some tissue as some cancerous tissue to take into the lab. And i was watching these two guys work. Seamlessly together is something is a of beauty in any group of people that do things well together and there's almost subliminal communication. What's coming next that i'm bumping to each other The theater staff all expert. They work as attainments really like a formula one team. It a stop and i'd never. I've never worked in the center where you will have a a professor of colorectal science in the operating room with you so and we get used to that at peter. Mac it's the same prostate the same for melanoma central breast and and i just find as an extraordinary environment. I've never worked in a place that has that. Degree of translational multidisciplinary care where people are. They're asking the questions taking the tissue doing trials etcetera etcetera. And it's just a extraordinary. I can do some cool things in my lab question. I of been geneticists for most of my research life and we can do cool things with jane's in cells and also indeed on animals and you can find great science out of that but does it always reflect what's going on in the patient and the answer is sometimes but not always and i want to the always it is relevant. What happens in a patient. It's all about the patient in the has always westbound lot that though so these two colleagues late in their fields in cancer but then kind of a sudden curve ball and a role change. The scientists in the surgeon were about to become the surgeon. And he's patient he's rob i have a great jp. I've been going to for quite a long time. Really thoughtful considerate kanda guy. We've we always have a great show. When i go to visit him. I have a checkup every six months. For basically blood blood pressure to have a level that cannot be controlled just by exercise and diet.

"We saw in italy where a c milan are windsor. Champions at the halfway stage in syria they are top of the table. Two points clear of into despite the fines. They lost three now at home against atalanta. Insecurity manage a nil nil draw. Meanwhile away against 'euthanazi and romo a seven goal thriller against four three moving them up to third in the table. It's welcoming shall we shoot robson show robot. Let's start with milan against atalanta talk about impressive. The visitors are brilliant. That difficult i ten or fifteen minutes but once they start planning football and they get illegit you vote and he kept on coming in off of that right hand side onto his left. The patter led the line brilliantly. Froylan back in midfield ghosts down one side patty board down the other three centre backs defended really well as well as i've seen the defend for quite some well they dominated the game. I mean thrown in midfield kept on making challenges and milan could get into their front plays enough. So he was at the game for long periods the young plas- planning behind him and mehta and on the other side castillejo. They couldn't get involved in the game for once able to dominate midfield so brilliant performance by its atlanta and now the informed seem at the moment and if they depict their best side against tonight as a earlier on earlier this week and last week they would be right up with the front runners of course is at the moment who are the front runners. I it's interesting is this same regressing to the mean slightly robots. Yes they're a good side but not a great side you know when you go abraham of issues who's thirty nine and he's Lead the line. The three young players played in behind on several different occasions came on on. He's going to be quite good enough to take them to the next level. Amac is got saints off last week. And he's quite good enough at the moment guests. The good game in midweek against calgary didn't play whatsoever today. May you make these Food first full appearance didn't really impress. So they're they're aside. That can improve. But let's do what some young players that needs to improve quickly to narnia didn't think dominated the midfield. And that's what kissy had a problem today. Impressive milano after that defeat which not forget. It was their first domestic defeat against events as they bounced by. Didn't they they got the win. Against torino gonna win against cavalry as well so after this defeat robbo you would be hoping for the same sort of mentality going forward. You think they can get themselves together. They can regroup because it's against the small teams in which they've picked up those crucial points this season. I need some of that players. Back the nia challinor who need right. But you wanted to substitute. He'll you him back. The got manzu kitchen now to help out ibrahimovic if he if he needs to be swapped any point so i think they've got the mentality pill has done a really good job mentally with them. He's a good coach as well. They got the you know exactly what they're trying to do but he's also got them on that even kill so when they lose games they don't panic too much. They come back again. So i think they'll they'll certainly putting performances but i still don't think they're quite good enough to win syria

New York's nearly-100-year-old Roosevelt Hotel is shutting down amid COVID-19

"We're going to start in New York with the story that I know has been running in a few papers about. The decline was the death seems as the Roosevelt. Hotel. Yes. Such an icon for New York City, and nearly one hundred years of history and another victim to the spanned AMAC it is you know interesting thank what's going to happen to building Will it someone take it up and restore it to its former glory or will we see its downfall to another a block of luxury apartments but it is sadly another casualty of. The lockdown and you know the impact that it has happened on the hospital sector and is interesting here to mention that the Roosevelt Hotel, in New York City is owned by Pakistan International Airlines. So we see here the result of two sectors that have been hugely impacted Did you ever get a chance to go there Andrew? Done into the Roosevelt I've bought passed a million times. I've never been inside same thing and now I'm regretting not having done so but hopefully, this won't be the last we've seen of it. I. Mean a building built in one, thousand, twenty, four, it is ab city I cannot cannot disappear just like that

Fantasy Football: D.K. Metcalf Week 2 Outlook

"Mccafe's seventy, six percent on the perimeter and week one lock at twenty, six percent and you're right. Last season we saw that now look, let's say metcalf was out for whatever reason. Then you might see them get a little more creative sometimes, you would see go more gonNA slot but that's not the case metcalf is very much a threat in the perimeter we know that so I fully expect him to travel obviously, there are similar size at least Gilmore's the biggest bigger corner for the saints or the Patriots and Jonathan Jones should be unlock it in the slot. Remember. The Patriots Defense Lhasa Pieces in the off season certainly Gilmore wasn't wasn't as normal dominance in week one but he was elite last year and so was his past offense fewest fantasy points to perimeter receivers second few overall two receivers, and again that's where Amac aligns is on the outside by the way. The Patriots. Defense only allowed one hundred, twenty, six yards to dolphins receivers in week one. So I I, know that's not quite Russell Wilson and Seahawks, but still they did an I
