Kamara's go ahead four yard scoring run was set up by Daniel Sorensen's 36 yard interception return. Deshaun Watson drove Cleveland to the saints 15 in the final minute, but he was sacked on fourth down with 19 seconds remaining.

49ers top Saints 13-0, first to blank New Orleans since 2001
"San Francisco's defense set the tone from the opening drive, forcing New Orleans Alvin Kamara to fumble and holding the star running back to a total 13 yards rushing for the game. The mission accomplished Nick Bosa says the defense expected the saints to try to get their run game going, but shut it down. And whenever you do that, it's going to be a really good chance of making a team one dimensional. Jimmy Garoppolo through the game's only touchdown in a 13 zero victory as San Francisco became the first team to hold New Orleans scoreless in nearly 21 years. You know what's funny? I'm looking at this hey, everyone. I'm aware that the Raiders play in Las Vegas, okay? I said the Chargers still played in San Diego two years after the move to LA. It's really not a big deal. That doesn't mean I don't know anything about football. Calm down. Wait hold on, if you walk around LA and you ask people on Hollywood Boulevard where the Chargers play. I say 30% say sandy. I say more. More. 70%. I'm up with Brock. Well, if we're going to talk about this, I want to bring this up. It might go thing. But then we were doing our top ten list. Our supposed to be fun. Especially, by the way, that's why they clicked. I'm sorry, like all of a sudden, I'm crazy because I don't have Alvin Kamara, and it's one guy told me I'm crazy. I don't know anything about football because I don't have Alvin Kamara, my top ten, even though he fell outside of the top ten in rushing last year. But the weird thing is, right? I'm weird, and I don't know football because I put my favorite running back from my favorite team on. And it's a comment written to me by someone who wants me to put their favorite running back from their favorite team on. So I guess if I had done that, I wouldn't be crazy and I would know what I was talking. Somebody helped me to make it make sense. Welcome to sports talk video. I'm so three minutes, 53 minutes is how long it went for TJ to say that he was done and worried about the comments. And now here we are 53 minutes later. I didn't bring it up though. Stink Reacts to ESPN's List of Top 10 NFL Running Backs
"So stink yesterday, the top ten running backs in the NFL came out. Okay? Derek Henry number one. Yeah. Jonathan Taylor number two, Nick Chubb and Cleveland. Number three, Dalvin cook in Minnesota. Number four, Alvin Kamara. Number 5 in New Orleans. Joe Mixon and Cincinnati, number 6. Christian McCaffrey, Colorado is one of those favorite sons, Christian McCaffrey, number 7. Nausea Harris, number 8. Aaron Jones and Green Bay, number 9. And then you get to number ten on the list from the people in the sport, the top ten players at every position. Javonte Williams came in at number ten on this list, your reaction, your reaction is what? My reaction is it shows you the respect that people evaluators and people who play and coach and GM in this league, the respect they have for that guy as a player because that guy, unlike most of these guys, most of these guys are pretty much Bel cow guys. That dude was a true split. So you're talking about a guy that truly split the carries. And this league has gone that way to where there's different guys that have different skill sets and play in different packages and different situations. But the majority of these guys, if you're going to run it 25 times, they're getting 18 or 19 of those carries. And javonte was truly a 50 50 guy.

"Alvin kamara. almost. I almost guest them. Yeah so alvin kamara. The reason why i did. This deal is because i am competing. I'm three into. I'm in the top. Four right now. And basically i have james robinson de'andre swift both slotted in my running backs each week but i'm a little. I have strong receivers as well. But i'm just a little bit too light for me to really compete for a championship. So i acquired three first round picks through various deals. And i made the decision that i wanted to really go for this year and i also needed a little bit wide receiver debt so i traded for emmanuel sanders. Who's who's been top seventeen in the league this season. It's one year rental. Yeah i know. And i also i also acquired julio jones which you know he's been injured but he still has that potential to accommodate. Help me later in the season. And then alvin kamara. Obviously was the big name that i got so. Yeah so i mean it's it's a big move. Three three first round picks they were going to be late for trump dick's the accuweather. The two other picks i had were two of the other guys that are competing for the championship. This season and then mind is going to be a late. pick. As well saw. The i i made. I made a big big move there to try and put myself in position to to win and get into the playoffs and hopefully win. The championship will see. I'll say this is better than a trade that i made for for alvin. Kamara think a few months ago before the season started where i was like. You know what. I wanna see if i can put together a good team. My teams young. I don't really feel like waiting for next season when i have like. Four first round picks so in all fairness it was a mistake on my part and so don't file a mind advice. Be impatient trying to law law all up but luckily i still have a lot of draft capital. I traded like four for found picks for alvin kamara to harbored remonstrative stevenson untidy. Johnson and i was extremely high on shubra hammered was pretty high. Alvin kamara other guys. But i do think it was steak actimel. Not a bit remind you. Stephen saffy was ronald gels. So that means more mistake. I treated for reminded For twenty twenty two seconds. So i tried to blow it all up because running backs are worth their weight in. Gold Maybe similar in that league or the sounds like maybe eighteen This was a fourteen league so running backs worth lot but back to your trade sauve in a similar boat. I i'm not sure. I like it but i definitely wouldn't say you're you're walking away as clear winner lakes on trade. I think it's going to have to see a little bit more just to kinda see how that works out. I like the gong for. I think that little jones actually might have another two three years left in the end zone down the valuable but yes necessarily be new great. This season emmanuel sanders ican public ta. I'm not a big emmanuel sanders fan. I feel like it's almost dependent on the offense games script Tweaked lee of the bill..

"Lot of people don't think the Saints are going to make the playoffs. And Michael Thomas won't be there, probably for the first month. If not, maybe more. Alvin Kamara should have a heck of a season. They lose some depth in that running back room the other day by saying goodbye to Latavius Murray because of a contract situation they take about a lot of defensive players this year. Jamis is finally getting his second chance. Did the smart, calculate decision go to a good spot on paper learned sit behind Drew for a year. And then get an opportunity to take over. Now he has the baton. Jamie's going to show us That he can reduce the turnovers enough. And even if he doesn't make the playoffs and still enough confidence in the Saints organization where the Saints go, all right, we have something We want to give him a contract extension or we want to bring him back. Your guy Carson Once gets good news five weeks ago, it'll be out 5 to 12 weeks. A lot of people thought it was going to be closer to the back end. Then the front end It was the front end. Carson Wentz, full participant in practice today, he's gonna be starting unless if he steps on something in the next, uh, 34 days or if he gets hurt, he will be the starting quarterback for the Colts as they open up their season. Against Seattle. Let me be clear about Carson once. Because I don't usually get enamored. With the quarterback, especially after the quarterback that I watched for the last 20 years for my football team. Was a big believer in Carson once in Philadelphia when I covered him And when there was some rumblings in some rumors that he's not the quarterback that you think he is, or he's not the teammate that you think he is. He's not the leader that you think he is a kind of pooh poohed it. I didn't believe it. And Throughout the last year, two years you started to see a lot of what people said behind the scenes or even publicly play out and come to fruition. Now, Carson, right? Can blame Doug for not running the football enough. Carson can blame Howie for making some horrible and horrific decisions in the draft at the wide receiving position. Carson, though. Really, ever since the MVP season. Has either been hurt, or he's been a bad quarterback. He's been a turnover heavy quarterback. Now he gets that second chance. Now he gets to go to the spot. With the coach that he loves a team that doesn't have great wide receivers, but they have a very good running back. They have good running backs, and they have a solid offense live very good Offensive line. There's no more excuses. If it doesn't work here for Carson, and injuries are one thing right? And then it's just another unfortunate career that we've seen. The NFL has just been derailed and Totally ruined by injuries and injuries are one thing, but if when given the opportunity to throw and step up if he continues to throw over the to turn over the football Then there's no more pointing fingers. There's no more looking over your shoulder and also on Jeffrey. Um, not being a believer in you and leaking things to the media. It's no more blaming the coach. It's on Carson now. Carson's in the spot where he wants to be Carson's in a place where he thinks he can have success. And I got to see what Carson ones can do. Especially. I know it wasn't much they gave up. It could be a conditional one right? But if it turns out to be enough, a first round pick if it's because of the 70% in the playoffs, that you take that now, if it's just because he played 75% of the steps and they don't make the playoffs. Then you can't be thrilled of your Colts fan. And the final two quarterbacks to a tons of a Lola. Really want to root for two. Cause it seems as if a lot of people are giving up onto a before even gets a fair shake. And last year I was an advocate. Full disclosure. Ryan's not your guy go to tour. But they did go to him in a bizarre part of the season with the bye week got moved up. And it ends up being a team. That's three and three and they pulled the plug on Fitzpatrick. Now I have no problem with that, in the moment, looking back, remember the injury that he suffered the year prior to that? And if the team made the decision to start the year not to go with two, uh You got to put them into the right spot at the right time. They rushed him back. And they put him on the field earlier than what they needed to. Even though I understood at the time looking back, they probably should have waited. You know, for example. Have been the biggest Proponent. I've been the biggest advocate for Justin Fields starting week one. If the Bears get off to a good start, Andy Dalton's playing good football? Yes. I want to see Justin Fields. Get on the field right away. But since you made that decision not to You've got to put him on the field at the right time. And looking back. And you have to make that decision in the moment And in the moment I agree with that full disclosure, the Dolphin shouldn't have put two on the field as early as they did. I thought they should have went with him from week one they elected not to do so. So then you have to implement them into the game plan. When the timing is right and at three and three. They didn't have to do it last year, especially with how well Ryan Fitzpatrick was playing. When you go to that guy, you don't look back last year They were looking back, and Fitzpatrick was out playing to a tango by lower But it's a big year for two. It wasn't in the captain will get into that later on. But more importantly, Depending on who you believe they're kind of tipping their hands on what they're thinking about. And if Stephen Ross wants to Chaumont ensure the Chaumont so I'm going to play football this year, but he may be playing football next year. I don't think Watson's you to get traded to the off season anyway. We need more clarity on what's going on off the field. But if Watson is cleared to play Teams are going to go after it. Because even though what he may have done off the field is disgusting. We've seen players get 2nd 3rd chances before Because of their talent. And if a team thinks that a player can elevate and raise their franchise.

Tony Gonzalez, pro Football Hall of Famer. On greeny, Listen. I don't see anybody beating his teeth this to be One of the best teams, it might be best team in NFL history. What the the fire that they caught at the end of the season last year and in the Super Bowl, and they got everybody coming back and and and like, you said, For all the reasons they got a year underneath their belt now, with that offense, and Tom Brady pulling the trigger. The only thing that will derail this thing is obviously injury. Uh, you know, they got an extra game on the season now, and it makes a little bit harder. But I don't see anybody. Anybody beating this team. All right. He doesn't see anybody. Nobody. Nobody was close to beating them last year, Right? Well, the Packers I mean, I just want to make sure that we clarify and I understand that they're loaded key. But it's not like they just had a They just ran through everybody on their way to win the Super Bowl. A lot of things went right in order for them to do that. Yeah, a lot. A lot of thing. It's it's Things got to go right right in sports to win championships. You got to stay healthy. You've got to have chemistry. You got to hit the right teams in the right situations. Um, the right matchups. Nothing taken away from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and 11 5 team that steamrolled through the playoffs. But Their chemistry. Started to take shape late in the year and into the playoffs, but also they got the right breaks. They start off playing a Washington football team that Didn't have an offense. Defense is young chase young talk about bring it on Tom Brady. So they got past that. Then they got a New Orleans team that Had barbecue ribs coming back with Uh Drew Brees. I believe Alvin Kamara had some sickness going on. Michael Thomas had ankle injuries, so he was trying to play despite Not even being able to run so that worked out for him. Great. Then you go to Green Bay and whatever happened in Green Bay? Whether it was Matt Leflore didn't give the plays correctly to, uh, Aaron Rodgers at the end of the game. Whatever happened Brady found King. Figured he was the duck through the ball. Touchdown. That guy they took care of Green Bay out the way. Then they hit Paydirt with Kansas City that came in to the Super Bowl limping in Patrick Mahomes. Little injured banged up plus The offensive line was decimated, so everything fell in line, although they had a defense that was lights out for the most part of the year. Everything has to fall in line. Don't make any excuses. They play who they play. But in the end, the ghost 17 and O. Undefeated team from start to finish to win. The Super Bowl is only happened once for a reason. Yeah, that was the Miami Dolphins. The New England Patriots tried to do it, but it didn't happen because they ran up against the New York Giants. So it's right. And then the Miami was in a shorter season two. I understand exactly What Tony is saying. When you bring everybody back. The players, including the coaching staff, think about it. All. Four main coaches are back. That means special teams offense, defensive coordinators. And the head coach. Typically, teams poach your guys when they win Super Bowls. You lose players of free agency because they want the big money. Coaches leave to get hired as we talked about yesterday. That's not the case Tap Bay bucks and they could Potentially run the table, but it probably won't happen. Look, it's unlikely this is going to be the greatest team of all time, because that's true of any team in any year, right? But you start to look Could it be They have a top notch offensive line. They have the best receiving core meaning top three receivers potentially ever potentially ever. When you look at these three guys who's to say Antonio Browns, not still the best out of those three guys. Mike Evans is in a league each one of those guys, you could argue for any one of those guys, and there's at least two number ones in that receiving corps, but that's the best three in the league. Presently, they have the best line backing Ted linebacker tandem. In the league. Presently, as you said all last year, they play defense. Tom Brady was just getting his feet wet with the team early. Didn't know didn't have practice preseason, those kind of things they have there and then they bring back all 22 key. You mentioned it. The coaching staff like no, It's probably not going to be the best team of all time. But you cannot say this about most teams in most seasons. And you can see this about the box. It might be like they're not. You can't just dismiss it out of hand. Hey, Max, Let me grade the receivers. Leave that to me. Okay. Okay. Great. The receiver. Hello? Great to receive. I didn't mention that. I have to agree with you. I'll have to say today probably the best receiving corps in the league. J City J Let me great. Let me great. The receivers. Please. At some point, not today, but at some point because I don't think they got the best trio wide receivers in the National Football League. But really, you're putting the Dallas ahead of him right now. I mean, we can put Dallas in the mix. We could put Cleveland in the mix. I mean, you know the Let's just, you know, just remind everybody throw Yes, the mix when less seen on a football field, four of full season and healthy Antonio Brown was operating at an all time great level. And we haven't seen it was three years ago. What are we saying? Are we sure he fell off? He looked pretty good in the Super Bowl. That was three called one Damn past. Max stop. Antonio Brown might be the best receiver on this team, and that's saying a lot because they got some good receivers, not to mention tight. I didn't even mention the tight ends right back and they got three of those guys. For your Saturday as well as Jay's. Leave the receivers to me. Freedom. I don't know, Chiara. I'm Colorado with magic could start thinking about. You know, Seattle got some pretty good ones. No doubt to. I got to treat although I think Uh, I got to see what a J green is. But Arizona got some pretty good to to, you know, By the way, the best tandem to me is a background and Julio Jones that's to actually actually To be honest with you..

"You should be able to be a smart shopper. When when the time comes when the players up for example derrick. Henry has been nominated yet. I don't think alvin kamara has been nominated yet. But we've seen mccaffrey and cook. Go in the thirties. I would assume that when those guys come up on the board. You'll know that they'll probably go close to thirty but maybe especially for henry. Npr maybe you get them a little bit closer to what zeke went for which is twenty five twenty seven somewhere in that rain. But at least you know you've got an idea of what you will be expected to pay for player services on your team. Mike davis now chris with a high bid on davis seven dollars. Kyle pits went for. I think eight are. There goes on my davis jacob. Gibbs what do you think chris bidding war do it. I'm going to hold off. Okay very disciplined. Yeah very distant needs to be. This out is a lot of sharp people in a room. You know. I think people are setting the values right. Now so yeah. I'm comfortable sitting back. So is anybody here. Very aggressive likes to fill up rosters kind of early. I'm definitely not. I'm very patient in these drafts There's just there's moments where you go. Oh he's still available. He went for that. And you don't wanna miss out on those bargains. That come maybe an hour into the draft when people are a little tired or something like that but anybody take the opposite approach and goes kinda heavy early in the in the past. I've i've definitely spent up early on. When i thought that i got a good player at a good price I've been in salary cap graphs where you know. The top running backs nominated quickly. And i've got an idea on what they should go for. And i'm getting them for you. Know two or three bucks less and it's early on and people are still you know they're they're worried about setting the market and we've talked about that a lot already on the stream but if you know what you're comfortable paying for a player than than go spend it and you'll find that you'll probably get a pretty decent bargain on those early on players. I don't know if there's going to be one in the one that we're doing right now because of you know we're all talking about. We all have a lot of respect for each other here in this draft but in in your typical home league Yeah i think there might be a little trepidation about spending early on and you can take advantage assuming you know what you're comfortable spending on a certain player right but i'm looking at it right now. Right now kamera going for twenty seven. Oh chris in there for twenty chris dyke. He's he wants to. He wants to participate. He wants a player. Well he's i think he's trying to get alvin kamara at a price a little cook and i think that's pretty smart. Well now now. He doesn't really have that chance. High thirty bucks cook went for what thirty one thirty to cook for thirty one. Chris did thirty on chimera as someone who took alvin cook for thirty one on very happy. Alvin kamara going for thirty per i. I have a bigger separation between those two players that chris. What about you understandable. Chris you took you took him for thirty. So do you think he should be one dollar less than than davin cook or maybe it doesn't even matter maybe. you think they're both good values..

"Just because the saints are really low on receivers right. Now they're going to need alvin kamara to step up and make plays i mean. He had twenty one total touchdowns last year. He had that touchdown game against minnesota on christmas. That i'm sure one a lot of people their their playoff games in their fantasy leagues. And i think he's gonna get a little bit of a role changed this year. I think the saints are going to have to use him as a twenty plus carry back the real gonna give him that bell cow role that we haven't really seen we've seen as a fifteen to twenty carry back. And then they get him the ball through receding the game goes on. I think we're gonna see at least thirty touches a game from chimera and that overall usage with a new quarterback it likely ingenious on having michael thomas there for the first few weeks of the season. I think that's an incredible value for alvin kamara. And he should not get past the fifth overall pick. Now my number two fancy player for twenty one is going to be jonathan taylor again. The same reason. Alvin kamara is the usage here. I think he's going to get as much touches as any other guy at this position. I mean without wentz for the first part of the season and even with once. This is going to be a run first team. His usage will be off the charts in tailored struggled. You really struggled to start last season. He had a bad against that seemed to be the turning point. And you could kind of see. The coaching staff didn't really trust him. After that fumble but he struggled to get over fifteen carries in seven out of the first nine games and then he had over fifteen carries in all but two games after that and really the the big playability is there. He eats up yards can have another year he's got a full season of. Nfl experienced behind him more carries. I see him getting more catches this year and i see a lot of breakout star potential number. Three's a pretty obvious. Pick in devante adams very worthy of the number one overall pick as i've seen him going in a few drafts If for some reason he falls out of the top five top eight you gotta get him. I mean it's a touchdown machine. There's very few receivers that get the targets and the red zone targets that adam gets adam gets from one of the best passers of all time in the sport. So you know it's going to be the ball's gonna be in the right spot and you know that this is possibly his last dance with aaron rodgers. And he's gonna prove why he's one of the best wide receivers in the league. There's a stat. I'm going to try and put up. He's caught something like twenty four touchdowns in his last twenty one games in that's just. It's unreal production from his position so over the last twenty six games played. Devante adams has twenty eight receiving touchdowns that is just absurd. Absurd numbers. it's it's almost statistical probability that he's going to catch a touchdown in your lineup. So not many other guys. You can say that about number four. You obviously can't really go wrong with dalvin cook christian. Mccaffrey belt belco type running backs. But i think nick chubb is going to have an incredible season. I know he's got kareem hunt with them compared to those other guys but he's ranked ten fantasy running back rankings. I'm seeing seeing him. All almost the second round in some leagues. But i really think he's a top five running back this year. I mean there's this presence..

"Thomas hurt exactly you know Jameis winston is not mature enough to lead. Nfl franchise so to me. This whole thing is all going to fall on the shoulders. Now of alvin kamara. And i do not think. Alvin kamara i it. he's a great back. he's one of the top back in the league. But i do not think he is strong enough to just carry that team. Okay thank you. Thank you tim. Kansas city so he makes a good point about the saints one. I didn't even bring up. Was the fact that michael. Thomas had surgery in june and likely is gonna miss some time to start the season. Yes but there's another wrinkle to the. I mean murray murray murray pre merger pretty good running back as well i mean they they they kind of share share the carey's you know he's more inside alvin kamara more of the every every down back so you know but i think it's tough to answer to respond a little bit to what he said about james winston. I think james winston did mature because the fact that he decided to go take a sabbatical year to go back. Hangs kinda pay-cut just to kind of learn and it takes sit back to know that what he was doing wasn't working. I mean god is still threw for five thousand yards on risky. No bisky to problem is guys. You can't say that. To and james wisdom was one of them if he can turn some of those no those turnovers. He's definitely a leap. Some them he just had it was it was more fumbles to i mean. It was forty turnovers. Yes like careless with the ball very careless and also. I made mistakes. I wanna pointed out there worth three teams from one division. That made the playoffs. I completely forgot about the afc north last year very possible but for no especially especially when you think about the nfc south you think that maybe they can have two teams going in where you think about too is part three what i'm saying so if you got to from one to visit it doesn't allow you have crap from another one. Yes very good point. All right. brandon is in connecticut brand what he got guys doing. Thanks for taking the call. This show I think i think either. The colts tennessee's gonna miss the playoffs. I think Would once injury. And i think tannahill hill eventually is gonna come down to earth but I think too and the dolphins are being overlooked very underrated. I don't think that defense is going to miss a beat for last year and i think the adults is going to surprise a lot of people to sue. Yeah j. jalen added to that to that already. Potent wasn't kosinski tied in. You got devante parker on the outside and they're very well coached team right and you think that defense loans they can keep his avia howard happy and figure that thing you wanna have one of the best corner like now corner ten interceptions. You want to keep them happy but you know. I think it's going to be a battle in that division too when you think about know. The bills dolphins and the patriots. And i would agree with the dolphins making the playoffs coming off a time when season last year after averaging just six wins the three seasons prior to that like this is the dolphins.

How the Tampa Bay Buccaneers upset the New Orleans Saints to advance to the N.F.C. championship game.
"Drew brees tom. Brady eighty five years worth of quarterbacks second quarter at six three saints and then dan fish huge mistake by brief. Yeah first of all the internal pressure and second of all the physical. Play at the line of scrimmage by murphy bunting getting physical with the receiver michael thomas undercutting that outraged by drew brees. That throw was a huge tone. And that. I love the to mike evans big body in the red zone. Stay in between the quarterback and defensive back touchdown tampa bay for cash in ten six tampa ensuing drive seats trying to respond. This is james winstons. First career playoff past and dan take a look at the triggering. Yeah love the beautiful design and then trey smith leaking down the middle field. But this is really about everyone paying attention to alvin kamara. Watch the tailback in. How many blocks defenders run that way. They lead tricon smith on blocked out here. You big cat. Take great play designed by matt. Nagy that sean payton carries over to yesterday saints thirteen. Ten is the advantage there. Bucks get a field goal. So we're tied up at halftime first. Possession of the second breeze to smith again beautiful. Throw we've seen so much by drew. Brees that incites thought. Fade carry into the sideline touchdown new orleans but then later in the third dan. This play changed the entire game. It's incredible winco junior yet. Tampa new orleans wins. The right they get that slant because it's man coverage but just watch that right hand come in on that back side punch to finish that playoff for tampa bay's defense. That ball bounces right to their defender to huge turnover for them saints turnovers and the bucks cashing in. That was the story of the game. Here's brady that's leonard. Four bucks tied up at twenty cook knows. That mistake was critical. Comes another one dan. Although this one clearly seems to be miscommunication yeah really. It's really just trying to get a vertically route to evan chimera out of the backfield but what happens is never liked. Does a remarkable job of playing with vision onto drew brees patient and then no wasted movement snaps drives on that football before kamera ever turns around and drew knows that was a terrible decision. Saints third turnover leads to this brady takes it himself. Tom brady giving the bucks a thirty to twenty lead. Only the rap isn't excited about it and one last chance now. Desperation time for freeze. That is tipped in the air. And that is all she

Turnovers Doom Saints in 30-20 NFC Divisional Playoffs Loss to Bucs
"Bill. I just want to dive into it here. Because there's a lot to get to after watching the bucks. Beat the saints. Thirty to twenty so new orleans had been in tampa bay twice this season in week. One about four hundred years ago and then again in november. So what was the difference in this game vs those other two. I really simple pablo the saints. Just didn't protect the football. In the two regular season games between these teams the saints won the turnover battle. Both times there are plus three in the week one victory and then one up in the rematch. Tom brady threw five picks across those two games. Only seven in his other fourteen games. That really felt like the saints had his number and they were gonna have to flip that to win in new orleans. Well they flipped. It didn't turn the ball over the saints coughed up. Four times including three interceptions drew brees. The bucks turned the first few takeaways and two touchdowns and use the fourth to wrap up the game and kneel down. It's virtually impossible to win a playoff game. That sort of margin the saints will just sloppy in this game. Mean breeze could have thrown four or five picks. He threw an awful interception under pressure for the first one and on the same page with alvin kamara on a scene route for the second interception. The third bounced off jared cook. Who also fumbled away a completion on a drive where the saints were looking at. Go up to scores. They lost the ball and proceeded to give up seventeen unanswered points to end their season. So clearly the bucks had a formula of sorts for stopping breeze in it seemed like every aspect of this game. But it's not just that they stopped him instead. They made him look straight up terrible really often and i'm wondering how did they do that to that degree. Well i really think that todd bowles bucks defense. Look the tape from last week's game against the bears look how drew brees was playing. Look at how pal those receivers were moving and just didn't think there was anybody in that lineup who could reliably win against man coverage or beat them down field with their speed. This was especially true. After the saints lost deonte harris who had two long punt returns early in this game to a neck injury the saints did get a long touchdown but it was not with brees on the field. It was the lone snap for one jameis winston who came in and use the same trick. Play the bears ran against them last week. For a long touchdown coming across his sanders they handed to them. Refers goes to jameson mega man. Wide open trade smith at the twenty five fifteen ten five and a touchdown saints and jameis winston. What a touchdown pass against his former overall when breeze on the field it was pretty clear at the game plan was to dare him and his receivers to try and take shots towards the sidelines and get downfield and the game plan worked the bucks used heavy doses of twists and stunts upfront create pressure and then just smothered breezes receivers. I honestly it really felt the only reason. Sean payton didn't bench breeze for winston on the last drive. The game is because it was probably a last few snaps of drew brees his career.

"Bears will move from our left to right the saints from our right to left. We are ready to get this one underway. Cairo Santos to kick things off. The Chicago Bears approach. The football drives his right leg through on the kickoff will go through the end zone for a touchback. And out comes the starting offense in the New Orleans Saints, led by the all time NFL leader in passing yards and completions. Drew Brees behind an offensive line of Terron Armstead, Andrew Speed, Eric McCoy, Cesar Ruiz and Ryan Ram check from left to right along the line. Jared Cook the starting tight and Michael Thomas is back along with Emmanuel Sanders at wide receiver. You'll hear the name Josh do a lot of the second tight end spot. Alvin Kamara is back and ready to go. Taysom Hill starts as well and he'll start in a slot to the right. Two receivers to either side. And on first down, it is not Camaro who starts but it's like tedious Murray, who gets the knot breeze to the sideline, and there is Michael Thomas, with the catch from the 25 Takes it on the right sideline. 29 where he's brought down by Kendall Gill door. Let's give it the starters for the Chicago Bears. Akeem Hicks, Brent Urban. The ends belong nickels in the middle of the three man defensive front. Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn on the ends, Josh would starting for the injured broke. Want Smith his first career start, Danny Reveille thin the other inside backer, Kyle Fuller and Kendall build or the corners to Sean Gibson and Eddie Jackson on the safety second down in five breeze to throw back pedals dumps it over the middle wide of his intended target tightened Adam Trautman, and that'll bring up a third down and five from the 30 yard line. 1st 3rd down in the afternoon and at the tail end of that play words are already being spoken down on the field. A team hits got a good lick on Drew Brees and took him to the ground, and every defensive line coach is always talking about. We want to get the quarterback on the ground, whether he has the ball or whether he's just thrown it and so mission accomplished for the Chicago Bears. They're on the second play of the game tomorrow and Thomas stacked to the right of the line. Three receivers left an empty backfield breeze in the gun on third and five from the right hash gets the shotgun snap. His right side by Thomas on a slant of the 40 and he stumbles down at the 43 yard line, pick up 13 and that'll move the sticks for the New Orleans Saints. It will be interesting over the course of the game to see you, Sean Payton and Pete Carmichael, the offensive coordinator, then a spot play. Michael Thomas a little bit You know, he's coming back from having not played is in top flight condition. And, as I say that comes off the sideline, and they're gassing them up with a little more water. Our quest. Calloway is in to the left of the line. Two receivers, plus the tight end Jared Cook to the right and on first down at the 43 yard line, first carry for album Camaro, who hops through a hole in the right, then backs his way to the Bears. 49. To pick up of eight and Alvin Kamara. How is his first step Very quick. It would appear as he picks up eight yards on his first carry. You know, the Bears are now kind of looking around looking for that leadership role. Con Smyth, their number one tackler. Is out of the game, so he's probably also green dot the guy who makes the calls and everybody North, normally listening to his voice. Now you have toe have another voice to listen to their in the middle Anti Te'o is out there at linebacker Right now. Quick Toss to the outside and Deante Harris just brought back off Injured reserve gets the catch but a very good open field tackle by the rookie Kindle Ville door about a half yard shy of the first down. It's third down and one for the saints. You know, you keep talking about this guy build or who is he? Well, he's the guy who now this thrust into the starting lineup, too. Defensive backs it down Jalen Johnson buster screen, So they lost in number two corner and the nickel corner. Now they've got that three numbers four and five. In that sequence with the fifth round pick for the Bears, and this year's draft out of Georgia Southern third Down in 13 receivers stacked to the right single back his Taysom Hill, he'll get the carry runs between the tackles and bowls over attack linked to the bear 44 yard line. That's a pick up in four and another saints first doubt, you know, that's not a hit scratcher because on third and one this is something that the Saints did. That was really interesting. Murray was six out of six on third down tomorrow four out of four Hill nine out of seven coming into this game, so maybe some of those he ran his quarterback sneaks. But that time he ran as the eye back the tailback First down and 10 at the Bears 44 opening drive of the scoreless first quarter I formation behind breeze. Three step drop. Pressure comes rolls to the right pumps throws it short. Trochmann with the catch and then travel. Just get absolutely hammered. Here comes a flag man type tail in there with the first contact. Joined by Barkevious Mingo in a flag dropped right at the feet of the tacklers after a two yard game for the Saints, and we'll hear for the first time today from our referee Alex Camp where we could hear it up here. That was a little bit of helmet to helmet contact. If you ask me, That's how Tae Oh, just brought off the practice squad veterans from Notre Dame. With Travis Gibson and Bro Quan Smith, inactive today for the Bears, and Te'o has just gone on the sideline and very visibly upset. Now there's a long conversation here. They may be discussing. Is this a flag or not? Let's see. There is no foul on the play second down, so they would guess James initially through that thinking there was some overly aggressive contact. And now no flag it all and they certainly discussed it was showing a recently on this score board here in the stadium, and you see They are coming in with his helmet down, but he hits him on the back. But from the front side Barkevious Mingo was the one who has probably think we're looking at in that direction short of the 40 yard line, second down and six breeze turns gives to Camaro tries. The left side tried to go sideways as he got to the 39, but he was dropped immediately at the 38 by Mario Edwards. Salio Mac also involved in the play for the Chicago Bears. You know, sometimes numbers don't tell the entire story bears 11 in total defense in terms of giving up yards. 15th against the rush fault against the past, But at times they could just stand up and make plays. And they have that ability to kind of shut offenses down right now, the state's ball down a little bit on 35 from the 38. Empty backfield shot and snap comes in waist high breeze. With pressure coming late for us to the right pumps Pumps throws Shorty threw that one away the past incomplete he was being chased by Mario Edwards. Was hot on his heels knocked into the turf as he got rid of the football and it's fourth down first failure on third today for the Saints. It'll bring up fourth down and bring Thomas more stead on to punt it away to the Chicago Bears. But that's two times in that drive. Where Drew Brees would have a dirty uniforms? They played outside on the muddy field. They have put him on the ground..

I don't know if you're ever gonna be able to hear me or what my voice is going to sound like two people. Listening, so just bear with me. It's been a hectic morning to say the least. But we're making it work. We just roll with the punches is what way are rolling with the punches? And, of course, one of the things I wanted to get into this morning was I was watching SportsCenter and they're showing 35 different potential wildcard, tight match ups that we can have today because there's so much mixing and matching. Now. Part of that is because of how big the playoffs are already in the NFL. But then the expanded it to two other teams this this season or two extra spots. I should say so, with that being said, we go back and look at we were What we all thought we're going to get another claims in Alabama match up and I think that would have been horrific. Lee bad for the sport of college football, because so many of the casual fan would have said You know what? Why? Why am I paying attention to this? What? Why does it this is this make any sense for me to really dive into it if it's always going to be a dominant SEC squad in Clemson. Or someone else? At least. Ohio State, save the sport of college football in the fact that we got something knew something we didn't expect an upset, as opposed to just being shocked, moving forward. Now the question is also come about. Hey, do you expand the playoffs? It's even more reason why, because I cannot turn my eyes away from every single of these matchups in the NFL Week 17 because of the seeding because of what's on online when they do expand the college football playoffs, which they will Katie This will not Make more teams. Open toe winning a championship. But what I mean by that is you're still gonna have the one percenters when it all But what you are going to have now is you're gonna have mortems that, at least can sell that dream. The Cincinnati's the coastal Carolinas. That should at least hopefully trickle down some of the talent as opposed with just being The one percenters of college football each and every year. Well, then two when you can sell that vision, it helps with recruiting right, And there's maybe a more level playing field. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna say that. It's gonna make it extremely level and there's gonna be more parity per se because you said the one percenters. They're going to continue to do what they do. But I do think that you when you can sell that vision of hay as Cincinnati We have a chance of being able to lock up one of these spots in the playoffs. That helps with recruiting guys might stay home rather than leaving, trying to get on a team that has a chance of making the college football playoffs. I struggled because I don't know. Where do you go from here? Do you go to a six game playoff situation where one in to get a bye and you've got three and six facing off and then four and five, and every spot goes to Your conference winners in the Power five and then a group of five winner. Or do you expand it to eight? Because I'll tell you right now. I don't know if you can. Give a spot to every single power five Conference winner because right now Based on how things shuffled out. I don't think I'd give the Pac 12 a definitive spot.

For Saints Running back Alvin Kamara sidelines him for 10 days, putting him in jeopardy of missing the first round of the playoffs since the number two seed no longer gets a buy and weak one and the expanded playoff format Our Jimmy Fowler thinks the NFL should do something about that isn't America. That happens, everybody, But you kind of expected that it would not be is good. Maybe his last year. There are a lot of people Corey Crawford. I don't know that there's another person. Way you could almost say Mitch and Corey Crawford could be comparable because how many people love Corey Crawford? How many people said I know people who say you're never gonna win the Stanley Cup of Cory Crawford. They want to with him, right? But even any time you would make a mistake, See, I told you he's not good enough. And it's like, okay, there's probably no other athlete in Chicago that has been criticized as much. And that is good. As successful as he has been. Look, you know a certain segment. Chicago may owe him a bit of an apology. He helped to help us achieve two Stanley Cups. Yes, he's never been really well respected. I don't understand that. Is a personality based. What is it? He doesn't have much now He doesn't know what a lot of key players or just straight ahead same type of response to questions. I mean, it's just, you know, talking to the media isn't their first priority, right is playing and you don't have to be a wild personality. To play the game of hockey, But yeah, what we're saying would Tevas and and Doc not being around? We're not even mentioning the goalie situation. Wretches. Okay, Who's going to step up liking in? We don't know This is going to be very much a rebuilding year and I was thinking about his high while everybody Is okay. Take the bears off the plate..

"Do I would think that he regrets being on five or maybe being on the Wizard's maybe I think he regrets leaving Westbrook Harden. I do not that was not gonna work. Time's up. The blast is over for another day about this tweet by the way, saints running back Alvin Kamara tested positive again and will be placed on reserved Cove it per source. This is from Schefter. Uh, he's out Sunday and now the question will be whether he reruns. For the first playoff game. Wow! Hey, now goes on the Reserve Cove. It is a sub tweet from chef to himself with this postseason status in question. Oh, man. Missy. There's been any new tweets from Schefter. Um, not about Tamara. That is horrendous. You know, it's funny. Here we are on the precipice of the final week of the season and right around the corner. You know, 14 playoff teams and somehow we got to this point. Ah, could you imagine if it just starts? Flex in, um, on the wrong I mean anybody You want everybody to be healthy for sure. But like you start seeing multiple stars like of active Camaras and play a playoff game. I'm not gonna see that That's gonna happen. Let's let this thing play out, but he's definitely not playing this week. That's brutal. Let's hope Let's hope that that doesn't know that would be awful. All right, James. Gotta go work, boys. Good job today Appreciate you. No problem beat. See You guys have fun. Always on the show, man. Absolutely. That's right. That's right. You guys having a low key weekend? "It's on your world will get to hear that coming up in, UH, Monday when Hal and Brian are back. How loves tell me something good studio will be back as well. Scott said. Way here with money cook. Thanks for being with us. Not just today, but the last couple of weeks. We've been filling in for the boys. We've had a ton of fun doing this. I have. I've had a good time, man. You've done a great job. Thank you. And I really have enjoyed it. You've done okay? You know for me, That's the least two levels higher than I thought I was. Your new Year's resolution is just okay. So we're doing okay. Let's let's start the new year off happy and have it do a couple of I've two of them. I couldn't decide. So I'm gonna try to squeeze both of them in real quick. This first one shouldn't take too long. Uh, if you don't play fantasy football the way it works. You just picked players across the NFL and they score a bunch of touchdowns. If they score touchdowns. You get points for it. If they run for a bunch of yard, you get points for it well. This last weekend was Fantasy football championship weekend for a lot of people on and saints running back Alvin Kamara Wolf had a ridiculous game six fire six touchdowns in a game insane for running back. That's like Jim Brown numbers from the From long time ago. Well, of course, fantasy football owners everywhere who have Alvin Kamara like Whoa! Like Alvin Kamara won the championship. So Alvin Kamara, You know, a lot of NFL players get a lot of negative tweets from fans saying thanks for ruining my fantasy football weekend, and they're like, Dude, I don't care. I don't know who you are. And I don't care here for your team, right? It was the opposite this time with all these fans tweeting it, Alvin Kamara, dude. You just want me to 100 bucks? You just want me 1000 bucks. Whatever. And so Alvin Kamara responded and put on a sweater like Hey, if if I want you some money, son of a saint is an organization where they met to our boys who have lost their fathers Because they were there in jailer. The fathers have died. You can donate some of your fantasy football winnings to this charity. Since he did that they've already received more than 400 donations of more than $21,000. Wow. Ever since, Alvin Kamara said. You know if you want to take fantasy football winnings and turn into something good. Here you go. And so that charity now is is rolling in 41,000 extra dollars because he did that. Yeah, that's pretty cool. They got a football player was able to turn The fantasy football thing, the positive into that. I mean, I want a couple of fantasy football leagues and I didn't even think about doing that, right? I might now, though, because I kind of feel bad about it. Um, So let's let's do this other one real quick this other tell me something good. It starts really bad. Because there was this little three year old boy just two days before Christmas, who was found abandoned with his dog at a cemetery. There are witnesses that said they saw a blue van speeding away in the car and the dog running after the van. And so police were called obviously, and they took in the boy. They found the boy's father. He says the kid was with his mother, so something must have gone south there. Here's what's happened ever since then. This is why I want to squeeze us into. Tell me something good, because obviously this is a horrible story. And it makes the news and this kid is just he looks sweet is all could be wearing like cowboy shirts and not Dallas Cowboys. But like You know your little cowboy clothes? Uh, Being this was two days before Christmas. They set up a fund. It wasn't go fund me, but just through Fox eight in Cleveland, so Hey, if you want to get this boy Tony, a Christmas present. Send it to this address Data data data. I can't count the number of Christmas presents in this picture. But if I tried want you the words I said, there's like at least 45 Christmas presents from random people in the community, sending little Tony A little bit of Ah, Nice Christmas because two days before Christmas, I mean, it looks like it might have in his mom. But somebody just ditched him and his dog at the cemetery. How awful. Is that and but for him. He's in good spirits, obviously, because he got a major Christmas and they found the dog. Okay, Good. So the the dog was okay. The kid was okay. And he ended up having an awesome Christmas. Yes, that is awesome. So there's a couple of good stories to ring in 2021 for you. And it's no longer 2020. Yes, that is the number one. Tell me something. Yes, you can say not 2020 struggling any day this year toe, find a tell me something Good. Well, it's not 2020. It's not 2020. Thank you. Good night. There you go. It's a 52 traffic. Here's money. Cook. Very good shape. Still the problem. We had 35 ft North and look, 12 Alton Walker cleared out, so it's pretty well back to normal. We do still have.

"We talked about this last week. It is crazy how fast the season went by considering what a crappy year it's better as we sit here and and Tony, we're recording this on Thursday morning, New Year's Eve, 2000 and 20. I think we're all happy to see the year come to an end. It's not so fun. Seeing the NFL regular season comes to an end, but we do get expanded playoffs this year. Tony what's going on, man? Happy? Happy New Year. Merry Christmas. Good to see again, dude. Yeah. Did you too, buddy? Merry Christmas If it was a good one happy early, New Year's happy double guns to this year F this and fantasize this f This and F 2020. That's 2020 coming. It's sort of become the new slogan by the way of the fantasize This podcast is F This f That and f this year. That's kind of question, and that's this year. Also, just this total side note. Quick diversion. Death to 2020 on Netflix is a must watch by the way its analysis That over an hour, But it's a toll satire with Hugh Grant and Samuel Jackson and, uh, whole slew of characters on Netflix every way I deftly 2020, but Yeah, dude, I never thought we'd make it this far. Where we're here. Um, I always go through a mini depression in fantasy football ends because you know, I love fantasy football. More than it's so fun, man. It's an absolute blast. I never expect to win it all. If I'm even in the hunt, I'm happy and I always say, you know, for one league. It was like 150 Buck entry and other legal was 100 Buck entry. It's the best $100. You could spend. Every year because it's taking up like five months of your of your year. You got to look forward to every day about that. Yeah, And this year with covert duty, and we discuss this a little bit last week like I was gonna ask you to what you thought about. What you thought about NFL on Christmas Because I loved it. I thought it was get the game right in the middle of the day. I you know, I could've done with another one was that it was one another one. Yes, I want to give me another one. Come on. We don't want dude. So what sort of funny is and I talked to Adam Schefter about this last week with Marcus Thompson and I were filling in for Murphy back about, you know, could we end up with the NFL? Seeing that this is such a good idea and saying, we don't really care that the MBA is playing games on Christmas anymore. It's not really our problem. We're happy to play some games. It's in the middle of our season. It's in a playoff time of arson. The summary of the Vikings and the Saints duking it out. We've got an incredible game. Now that Camaro score six touchdowns my Christmas nobody's ever gonna forget that. We're gonna go to the state football game, and Alvin Kamara scored six touchdowns. So I was asking Schefter about this and he's of the mindset. I sort of think so, too, that Covert 19 allowed for the sports world. And while it was miserable to have to deal with, and I have to handle it this year, the way it did the fact that they were able to get sports up and running again in somewhat of a safe capacity in in certain arenas. I think in some ways it could have been done better. I'm still on on the on the line about whether not college sports should even be being played right now. But when it comes that comes to the NFL, What we saw is that they were totally capable. Playing games on a Tuesday night they were capable of playing a game on a Wednesday night. They could say, Hey, we're just gonna move. The schedule will bump games down the road. If they decided when there was not a pandemic going on that they wanted to schedule a Tuesday and I game or Wednesday night came to match up with Christmas. They've proven that they could do it. It's gonna be tough on on the bodies of some of these players put the NFL's also proven. I don't really give a damn about that. So you know, they put it on. I'm gonna watch it. It's not my fault if they put it on, I'm just saying, if they're to do it, and we're all gonna watch it because we all love watching football. I would be open to getting more games on Christmas Day and I'd be open toe mortgage games during the week. It doesn't have to be a Thursday night game coming up Friday night NFL game. Let me tell me more. Tell me more Saturdays. That's Saturday. By the way before right after Christmas is always one of the best Get a couple of days. I think we have three games that day, then Jeff Wilson junior game and we'll get to that in just a minute. But, yeah, I'm open T games on Christmas and games throughout other days of the week. Now that we've seen it, we've seen some flexibility in that realm. I think in 2020 no question, I think it actually this again. There's silver linings or, you know glass half full approach to having been living in a pandemic and Not just in football, but in regular life, just about what you are forced to do. But then when you're forced to do it, you realize Oh, wow, that actually could work. All right. What's not bad? Yeah, And also you're so right about Christmas Day football like Thanksgiving. How great is having three games on Thanksgiving? It's the best. Why haven't there been A three game slate on why hasn't there been a three games late on Christmas forever? Like I think now that we've seen football on Christmas Day, and like you said, I was thirsting for another game after that game in because it was a great game, Camaro goes off and I wanted more football after that game. I'm like, Oh, I can't believe what a tease give me more. And that's what I love about. Thanksgiving is the three pack of games that you have, and I think this year we only had to because we had one of the games was postponed because of covert. But now knowing you can schedule and like he said, man, it's a multi billion dollar industries, so they players Are just gonna have to wear it and they're gonna play and the NFL is going to do what they do and the people they know that the viewership is there. They know that the advertisers will pay. So it's next man up if the injuries air our problems, But I will say Guilty as charged me and I will watch it if they put it out there, and I want to get into why it's a possibility in just a minute because the expanding schedule here for next season has been basically reports of this finalized that they're gonna have the 17th game next year, and that could be ramifications for fantasy. Football could also mean ramifications for how they set up midweek games. If they decide they wanna manipulate the schedule late in the year for big holidays over for things like Christmas like that. I assume that because Christmas was a Friday this year, it'll be a Saturday next year, right? So generally, that sound moves without Ah, leap year so we can end up with a bunch of Saturday. I mean, why not? We got three of them. This year. We could get three or five games on split this late up and give us some more on Christmas next year. And by the way does that mean the rug out from under the MBA? Does we do we get screwed on the company holiday next year, and we just get Christmas Eve? Like what happens next year? What they give you is they give you an observed holiday? So if if the holiday falls on a.

ESPN Daily
Bill Barnwell on NFL Undefeated Teams + Monday Preview
"Bill Barnwell. It is late Sunday night almost midnight, which means it's time for you to make me smarter about the NFL. I'm going to try my best Baba Bill. Barnwell is a senior writer for ESPN host of the Bill Barnwell show and he's procrastinating his deadline to talk to me. So we just watched the saints and the packers on Sunday night football and the saints lost without. Their Star Receiver Michael Thomas. But that did not stop us from getting a whole bunch of touchdowns drew brees and Aaron Rodgers. Each threw for three a piece. But in the end, the packers won the saints lost and they've now lost New Orleans says back to back games for the first time since two thousand, seventeen bill I know you are writing a new piece about drew brees coming off of the two year deal that drew brees signed in the offseason and what we've now seen from him through these first three weeks what did you see in Sunday night's games he regressing improving? What do we have with bruise right now? Okay. So public drew brees definitely improving this is a better performance from him. Me brees was downright bad on Monday night in week two against the raiders before we got to garbage time and breeze didn't do deep very frequently until this game was out of hand but I think the concerns i. have read or have heard about arm strength or how deep is passes typically go they don't really get how reason this offense actually worked. Breezes sort of like. A singles hitter in baseball like Tony Gwynn lagging time where a post player with no range in basketball he's not going to suddenly start throwing deeply. He's Patrick Mahomes at forty one years old breeze has succeeded. Over the last three years while throwing the shortest paths in the League because he's posted the three best single season completion. In NFL history. Now. The good news for the Saints Good News For Saints Fans is that brees was much more accurate on Sunday night it was twenty, nine, thirty, six for two, hundred, eighty, eight yards a lot of that West Alvin Kamara who did a lot of the work but still going to end up thirty six is still better than where brees was. The bad news was just about everything else. The Saints Lost Starters Jared Cook and Andres P to injuries while devante. Adams List Aaron Rodgers threw for two hundred, eighty, three yards and those three touchdowns you mentioned. The saints focused on adding veterans with nicknames Emmanuel Sanders and balcony. Jenkins this off season. But. Sanders hasn't been able to stand out with ankle Thomas Injured and Jenkins has been picked apart in pass coverage including Mercedes Lewis touchdown on Sunday night the attorney for more accurate breeze that was a bright spot. But if the saints continue to struggle with injuries and get disappointing play from their stars, the Orleans is going to need this version of free stick around to have a chance to compete in the NFC. So the packers emerged three no, and that's where a lot of focus the rest of our conversation here on the teams that are now undefeated through three weeks of the NFL season. So bill, let's push deeper into the NFC here because the Chicago Bears Be Chicago bears are somehow three you know and they do it by beating the Falcons thirty to twenty six Chicago was trailing by sixteen head coach. Matt Nagy Decides to pull quarterback Mitch Trubisky in favor of the veteran nick foles mister big bleep nick himself who goes on to throw three touchdown passes in the fourth quarter. So I have a two part question for you now. Why are the Falcons physically incapable of holding onto a fourth quarter lead and? Secondly, where does this leave the whole quarterback situation in Chicago? Let me answer the second part of that question I. The bears are going to flail by the seat of their pants for the rest of the season I would assume that nick foles is going to start until he struggles and the bears trailing by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter a couple weeks from now, I would point Mitch Trubisky will come in and lead them to victory and the cycle will start the new. Unfortunately I don't have one simple takeaway for our poor friends and Atlantic. Is Different From what we saw in week to as. Much. As the defense was disappointing in this game, the offense really deserves a fair chunk of the blame for what happened scored a touchdown on the opening drive third quarter, and then basically tried to sit on their lead, Matt Ryan and company REPA- total three first downs on their next six is before the bears took the lead back and the only scored one field goal over that time after bisky intercession back running back Brian L. dropped an easy third down conversion which would have put the Falcons and field goal range. Then on the next drive kicker, young coup miss a forty eight yard field goal attempt. I know. I mean let's be fair. The Falcons defense was very bad. I'm not sure the Falcons are gonNA make any drastic changes on Monday morning, but Arthur blank can feel great about seeing this happen. On his seventy eighth birthday and. I believe I'm not mistaken not the only person celebrating birthday on Sunday. Having Birthday Pamela. Day Pablo. Yeah this is a hard way to discover that you share a birthday with the owner of the Atlanta Falcons Bill, which feels like you just cast a pox upon my house.
