"Shooters. Shoot is jalen hurts. The top quarterback start. I don't think you're going to put them number one but it. How confident are you guys in. Jalen hurts at dallas. They're awful and Yeah what do you think ben. I'm very confident. I am not going to start him over. Patrick mahomes or lamar jackson or josh allen or maybe even cholera murray. But he's gonna be in my top five or top seven because his rushing floors incredible. It doesn't matter who's weapons are his top receivers zach. Ertz two passes second best receiver. Alshon jeffery caught two passes jalen. Rager was the only one over four passes then. Tease hurt. So it doesn't matter who's in there. He's going to get the job done with his arm and his legs. So i think he's a top six seven quarterback next week and i really wanna find a way to start them. Yeah i probably wasted about fifteen minutes. This morning. i watched. Everyone of jalen hurts. His throws and the big takeaway was they. The offensive line played pretty well in the first half and horrible horrible in the second half and the cardinals really got after him. I mean i think they were a lot more aggressive. Because he was doing really good the first half he threw for one hundred and seventy seven yards and three touchdowns in the second half. He was just twelve of twenty six for one hundred and sixty one yards and no touchdowns but he did have a rushing touchdown. But i don't know that the cowboys are gonna be able to get pressure. They are arizona's fourth and pressure. Rate and dallas nineteenth dallas. Twenty six against quarterbacks. I guess i what i would say is that a lot of the problems that carson wentz had. They showed up for for hurts yesterday. Just in terms of the protection but didn't happen till the second half but he's more equipped to deal with it because he runs better than wentz and he and he's facing dallas so it's a great situation and i think like you're going to start. Start him over justin. Herbert yep i think so. Who aren't you going to start him over. I mean it definitely starting them over russell wilson. That's not even a debate. Yeah i mean. I think it's like unless your quarterback is named patrick lamar. Aaron maybe josh. You're probably starting jalen hurts..

"Are they. An option and jimmy brought the point. If the way that filbert's deal said observe a one year deal that's awesome but if he does great they have had talks of bringing him back next year. So if you're the colts if you do. Bring him. Back chris ballard in the culture not going to explore that option of having him come on in be a backup for philip rivers most expensive backup in the league and probably is right now across the league so with now jalen hurts as a starting quarterback and i to sit there and jalen hurts is the future is the guy at a one game against new orleans. He's not like this all slow down. I never want sit there and say this guy's a future. You clearly see him. You saw this new orleans one game. So let's just hold on and sit there and say that's not the reason why he's got a future like do i think he can be the future for them absolutely and if you look at the stats if you watch him play. Yeah he threw the touchdown to alshon jeffery he ran for over one hundred yards. They ran the read option a lot. I get all of that but are we going to do. We know that this saints team if they are legit number one number one team in the conference in the In the conference or was just maybe will take him hail there maybe not who knows even though it tastes inhale. She had a pretty good game. Jalen hurts was no scrub yourself again. A hundred and sixty yards throwing in eighteen carries for one. Oh six like he did his part. He fumbled the ball one time but the biggest problem between him and carson wentz was that was it. That was the only fumble. You soften this guy you saw adversity. You saw them lead. And i looked onsite case situation. Ha- had new orleans almost lost. Like how fricking sat or philadelphia. Almost downsized king. Excuse me like just at the ball. Just stop with this whole. Oh don't touch don't touch touch. It just touched the ball. And i get it. If you don't touch if like if you go touch it new may hit a finger. Now the defenders right there to steal from your. I get all of that but my opinion you're out there because they trust you to either to touch the ball. They call hands. Team hands hinz to catch the football. That's what they caught now. Let's talk about the future for. I think we all agree. Jalen hurts after the game has earned the right to start the rest of the year. You have to know what you have them like. You spend a second round pick on the guy you have to know is he our future is he not is carson wentz dealing with the guy are we gonna keep carson wentz because you gotta find a trade part like if i'm the gm of a team and i may have the cap space. I may really had it. But i'm going to use that to my advantage if i'm actually interested in carson wentz in willing to take on that big of a contract i'm gonna use that to my advantage.

"Aaron rodgers is awesome right now. Obviously it's not a great matchup but rodgers and davante adams has to be in your lineup. Aaron jones it seems like they're taking it a little bit easy with him. He's still an rb one because of the the goal line equity but they used jamaal williams. So you can play as a flex. And i know a lot of knuckleheads out. There are yelling about markets data scantling because of the fumble. But he's actually played pretty well. Recently i still think he's more of a low end wide receiver three for green bay because allen lazard is back in the kinda got his feet. Wet this past week. I'd probably want to avoid playing either one of those guys. Until i see how that snap share is going to shake out going forward but the green bay is pretty narrow you don rogers every week aaron jones every week Jamaal williams. You can maybe play as a flex play and obviously davante. Adams is the number one receiver in fantasy football okay. Let's get now to monday night. Raw and eagles starwood the seahawks show us stardom decay metcalf. The eagles passed on jayjay. Or theta whiteside. For mcafee's any eagle fan knows any player who the eagles could have had but didn't will go for like three hundred yards and three touchdowns against them decay. Metcalf is going off in this game. Tyler lockett probably going off in this game carson. Get him in your lineup brussels. And get him in your lineup. If you dying for a tight end the seahawks just greg olsen on i are. You can maybe pick up. We'll start him. The eagles the eagles are an utter disaster right now. Ross i mean there's there's no two ways about it i think it starts from the front office down but i don't think it's a very well. Coached football team in. That is an understatement right now. Okay but what about what about the eagles offense. Oh my god. of course. this is how we're going to have to wrap up the The podcast it's broken offense. And what i see right now is a quarterback and wentz who was playing with no confidence whatsoever. He doesn't know what he's seeing. And when somebody like wentz who i mean. I think anybody would argue even his skeptics. Coming out of north dakota state would probably argue at the very least each sharp mentally. I don't see that right now. And i see zero creativity. Doug peterson coming out of a press conference this week and saying jason. Peters who was a turnstile against cleveland even without myles garrett is still are left tackle. When jordan had played a. I would argue. Outplay jason peters. Year i see. Doug peterson coming out in his press conference. Dang we've gotta get alshon jeffery moore involved when as my guy john hansen said. Alshon jeffery. look like a mummy jumping for that pass at the end of the game that was picked off by denzel award. I see complete disconnect between the front office and the coaching staff rate. Here with philadelphia..

Alshon Jeffery Placed on IR with Foot Injury as Eagles Push for Playoff Berth

"The litany of injuries that have plagued the Philadelphia Eagles. Who was reported yesterday? That Alshon Jeffery is done for the season after suffering a foot injury injury on Monday philly sitting at six and seven tied atop the NFC East with Dallas. Nick Can Carson wentz overcome injury after injury after injury to lead the eagles to the playoffs. Well I think the eagles are going to go to the playoffs. And I guess if you WANNA say they get led by their quarterback than the answer's yes I this is is going to be a win by default. This is whomever wins this division. I know you believe the cowboys but I don't think either one of US think one of these teams all of a sudden there's is gonNA surge to the finish flip a switch and become the team that they could have been at the beginning of the year and the the problem for Philly is it would be easy and it is probably not disease somewhat fair to blame some of the issues on offense at to wide receiver. Injuries like they they are. They're going to go into this game. Potentially where the healthiest wide receiver they have is. Jj Arteaga whiteside. And he's got one hundred and thirty receiving yards on the year

Analysis: New England Patriots vs. Philadelphia Eagles

"New England Beats Philadelphia. Seven hundred ten tight game. Your boy Ataman throws a touchdown pass What do we make of these teams right now? Well I mean I think the entire takeaway for Philly fans is predicated on what you think of New England if you think think. New England is the Super Bowl. Contending team which I think there are a super bowl. Contending Tamed Sound Down on now. Though it sounds like your your little awesome while you worry about the offense and she do I mean like how could you not and you worry about stopping the red eye. Eagles went away from a little bit. They were down Jordan. Howard I think if you look at it that outweigh it's not the worst? Lost Eagles had all season. But of course it's the biggest loss because it's the latest and now they're five hundred nece was like they put themselves in a position where losses to Atlanta and in Detroit and teams like that amounted up and made this a must win and of course in the NFC. Nothing's truly a must win but we mentioned the eagles struggles with Dallas earlier. Everybody has to over simplify things and make it a win thing and I just got actually got a tweet from A guy earlier one of the listeners owners definitely from Boston like Oh crooked. Cancel the pod Ryan at Ryan at Chris. Because he doesn't want to you know. Take the eagles offense to task. The offense was bad. Dude Carson didn't play take that twelve but like Carson Carson didn't play Great Lake but guess what you've been touting this patriots it's defense all year is the best of all time or in that in that and we have come down to earth bit but you gotTa pick one because Carson not having a perfect game against these guys with down the starting running back down to Sean Jackson down. Alshon Jeffery down both tackles at one point in the game by by the way when Lane Johnson leaves early early. That's a big deal. Carson was pressure twenty. Two out of forty eight snaps again. He holds the ball long too long sometimes so that stat his snapped releases relevant the longer longer you hold it the more. You're going to get pressured. But he had four incompletion role in that final drive. I didn't think he had agreed. Asli bag game but it was funny to me that in a game where the goat who still a really good player was all over the place. The first avenue set a record for incompletions and a half. It's the first game. He played an entire game. You didn't leave bleed. The Patriots and touchdown passes shutout Jules. I just think like are we going to be mad at Brady to a I. I know whence isn't the goat and he doesn't get that kind of slack but that's a team who offensively has to hurry up and figure some things out for the for the level of expectation in New England to be met and of course Romo Romo who I love every time Brady missed the throw is the wind. Every time went Smith stores like he missed another one there. And if this is the game you're GONNA TO GIVE UP ON WHENCE OVER I. You're giving up on Wednesday like as a franchise quarterback score on trees. I think you're you're you're shortsighted. Second this is not the game like he didn't didn't play that well but bro. That's the best defense in the league. Most people think right. That's what people think at this point Yeah they are San Francisco. You know San Francisco the team gave up fifty points to I mean Devi. Oh man done sound like rail exact science so I'm looking at it now. 'cause Devia was telling me these guys were both both the two thousand Ravens. Yeah now they are and I mean going into the week they still were way ahead of everybody else. I mean I was looking at the numbers this morning. They don't get updated Until until the Monday night or so we'll know more about inter you're right. I mean that San Francisco who in what last couple of weeks we're going. Oh wait a minute what what happened to these guys on Defense Pencil Not GonNa sit there and say then all of a sudden I still. I've always liked personnel better than New England's but New England's one holding a team down to ten after they gave up a bunch of yards to Lamar and those guys so I think the Brady thing it continues to be this thing. That's real his first half second half stuff it just felt like yesterday was just a grind. You know what I mean to grind for everybody. You know what I mean but you know how like if you have a buddy and you seem like walking somewhere and you're like what's wrong like just having a bad day. Yeah just arduous and soon as they got out of the house everything was a challenge and it just felt like the Brady and his movements. And maybe I'm doing too much here and maybe but I don't think I am. I think I'm right here. I really the the more I watch him this year. The more I think things just feel more challenging and I don't know if it's just because the offensive line I don't know it's because no gronk you know it could be all of these things collectively but I think even the biggest patriots fan has to admit and some private moment that you know. Maybe this is what it looks like for the end of Tom and then as soon as I say that out loud goes probably was so who knows. I'm not willing to do that because I'm not going to be the guy what I'm saying is though that poses the question to you. I mean you're forty two forty three years old. You'RE GONNA have I bad days where the ball is not just zip off your arm You know outside the Hashes Brady Brady is still going to have them in a position to compete for the whole thing at the end of the year even with the lack of Gronk with the lack of Devlin with the line problems with some of the drops he had yesterday. But I would ask you this. The Eagles secondary has been much maligned. The Patriots Defense has been called one of the best ever right. So why are we sitting here talking about and Tom didn't have a great game. You know who had about the same game as Tom Carson. They both they both had bad throws. But we're sitting here and I know that the go gets a lot more leash 'cause he's the goat and he's going to have his team where they need to be and I'm a huge fan. So don't don't mistake. This is a Tom Critique but people have not gray days Tom will tell you that Carson had not great day against one of the best defense of all time and if you look at these two these two offenses they both fallen awful lot. Since that's your boy. I think the Eagles Miss Frank Reich. I think they may they miss de Filippo. I think they had a lot of injuries but the pats have a lot of injuries and they've fallen on off a lot since that super bowl. Our defense in seventeen was much better than the not much better. It's better than the eagles defense right now. We have more pieces. They put up six hundred plus yards yards. Offensively on US yesterday was like you said a struggle and so I think there's concerns for both offenses here. One obviously has a much better cushion and a defense defense. That's GONNA keep me in every game.

Eagles' DeSean Jackson reportedly to miss two weeks with an abdominal strain

"Does Shawn Jackson is expected to miss Sunday's game against the lions will remain sideline for the week four contest same course of action that they're taking with Alshon Jeffery from the reports that we've seen and the eagles are so banged up. They literally cancel practice yesterday. They just canceled as we said. We need a day off the report that I read Brooks. I see growing in here. The report I read was in domino injury keeping him out for that two weeks an abdominal strain and so he's been bothered by it for a little while. They're going to give him a break so if you need a spot start. Nelson Goulart looks really interesting.

"Progress and and support a number one wide receiver like what i think ellen robinson bit before either one of you guys chicago. I just want you to see that josh over here. It was flexing his oklahoma brainpower by going backwards up to number one rather than start at number once he's flexing. You guys can take that however you want. It's clearly showing off some skills on adam allen robinson jeff jeffrey landry. I mean i'd i just like how you had the chicago lead into that with connor and i both being from chicago and then josh takes the slow route to put this guy this uber breath the top crafty crafty but <hes> but yeah i wouldn't be surprised were all in line with <hes> at least that portion of this for me. Ellen robinson is at the top oppa this group but i gotta be honest. I've been drafting jarvis landry over l. Sean jeffrey and i don't know i mean i think they both have a a ton of opportunity to produce twenty more than anything both are probably going to be second in targets in their offense because i do think that will still out target alshon jeffery free personally. I think that jarvis landry i mean when he played alongside odell <hes> in college and it was a long time ago but he was still able to be more targeted than oto beckham and i think there's this weird thing with landry where he just he he gets targets like an insane amount on every offense that he spent on and last cheer that didn't really turn into a lot of production and i mean i think that there is reason for trepidation but i think that there's there's that potential henschel with the cleveland offense ascending that it doesn't just mean odell beckham is going to be this outstanding number one wide receiver and all all a fantasy. I think that there's a lot of potential that landry gets pulled right up with them and finished twenty four so you're gonna robinson landry geoffrey you sir. I'm with view on their connor. Are you separated from this other chicago in. Is that what you call you guys. Chicago wins yeah. That's kind of ah. We're halfway there. It's not exactly you chicago wins all right. We're we're. We're where we're at here man so i'm gonna go with alan robinson for a lot of the reasons you guys talked about also expect their defense to regress a decent amount enough to the point that trubisky is going to have to throw a little bit more and in negative game script. I think that allison we'll be the number one guy and then there's there's just like a tier and then alshon jeffery and jarvis landry kind of just like you know next to each each other way down below and then there's a big drop for me because i'm just not confident alshon to be able to carve out a big enough target share there with so many different players dallas goddard sack urge j. jerry siegel whiteside nelson galore a good pass catching back in miles sanders. There's i mean carson wentz to sean jackson carson wentz literally as the best pass catchers of his career probably so i'm just not really sold on al sean seeing a big enough target share in order for him to make a big impact and j._j..

"And they're like what is the buzz about here? And I was like we'll Cuyler Murray's Wayne, but he's not even gonna test. Yeah, there there isn't mother isn't a there isn't one specific thing that people are really buzzing about I think there's a several position groups that are really interesting. I think the offensive linemen and the receivers have some really interesting players receivers, particularly there's like the whole spectrum of type of players. I mean, you've got decay Metcalf. You've got I came and then he got Markey's Brown, and like smaller shifty guys you've got AJ Brown who looks like a running back playing receiver. There's just all kinds of guys in. So there there's a lot of I think if you're if you're gonna say there's buzzer excitement about anything. It's it's watching receivers as watching the offensive lineman, obviously defensive lineman is going to be huge this week. Oh. Ed oliver. I think that was actually kind of an interesting thing this morning, he weighed in I think it to eighty seven. So that was a good way for him. That's plenty. Yeah. That's like more than what Aaron Donald waiting now. Obviously that's a comparison. That happens a lot. I don't think he's earned Donald. But he's a very good player very explosive and being at two eighty seven is a very good number for him. We'll see how he tests. I think that he over the next few days he could generate a lot of buzz of among the receivers. Is there anybody that you particularly like, it's just one of your guys? I think you came about a starting to he started to I I mean, I'm standing out to you a little bit. As things you've said to me in tweeted, I'm reticent to say, he's my guy because I there are worries with him in terms of drops and his like, he's just massively few look at his web chart on. Oh credible through the measurements. It's just he's like ninety eight th percentile in every day. Big, man. I think actually I heard that he set the record for wingspan at receiver position at the combine almost eighty four inch got. Yeah. So he's got an insane catch radius. I'm a little worried about like. You know, his ability to separate his his consistency as a catcher, but he has immense upside I'll put it that way like his ability to get behind. The defense is really good. He's really long strider really fast. So I wouldn't necessarily say he's like, you know, my pound the table guy. But I do like him a lot. I'm really interested to see how akilah Harry runs think. He's just kind of one of those guys that's really polarizing right now because we're from Arizona state. He he's a guy that is like really big physical super productive. But he's also sort like, there's he's kind of in the alshon Jeffery shor mold where you're like Kenny separate or is he gonna have to only sorta use his body in wind contested catches and things like that. I think he's going to be really interesting. The Stanford guy JJ JR Sega white said Whitehead is really interesting player. He's like form basketball player box out king. Like if you watch him they just throw it up into the end zone.

I think this weekend the younger generation steps up and the and it's going to be a golf Mahomes Super Bowl, Tony. The saints are lucky to be their default. Nick foles are getting ready to win that game last week, and if who dropped the passing in Jeffery alshon, Jeffery alshon Jeffery who was playing with cracked ribs, by the way, now tough you imagine playing football with a creek type records, you wouldn't see me leave the house. "So they were favored by eight and a half points playing at home in the Superdome in New Orleans against the Philadelphia Eagles. So here's what happens. So I play the game. The saints take the field. Drew Brees again one of the best quarterbacks ever takes the field on his first play. He gets up he backs up. He's about throw a pass because and and there's nothing scarier than drew Brees about to like throw a deep ball down the field. Like, you feel like it's going to be a touch. Absolutely. He backs up backs up launches one. Just heaves it in the air, and we're like up here. It goes. Drew Brees touchdown and the very first play. This is it. It's going to be over throws throws. Throws. It lands on the boom right into the defenders pants. He fears an interception. The defender runs back with it. Everyone's groaning. Everyone in the Superdome. Super upset the eagles get possession. Nick foles comes out. He throws throws throws wines of completing six passes in a row. They scored seven nothing. Eagles are looking good for the eagles. So far. All right down plays later. A few plays later. Eagles. Got the ball back score. Attach again, fourteen thing got this thing. Locked up. Good for them. Jason cuts are right on track. Yeah. No my far. I don't even want. Eagles are up for nothing. In the first quarter saints line of scoring and it goes back and forth. Suddenly eagles can't do anything on offense, Nick foles. Starring couple more picks ones becoming something like fourteen fourteen. Third quarter comes around fourth quarter comes around suddenly it is twenty one fourteen. The saints are up by seven points and the eagles. We need a touchdown to tie, right? The saints are controlling the ball, actually. And they wind up getting it to about the eagles forty thirty our line or some of that. And rather than keep going for it and trying to win the game right there than in there. They decide to kick a field goal because they want to make it a to score game which would make it way harder for the eagles to come back and win because remember in Nick foles previous heroics. He was always like the fourth quarter comeback hit. Like he would always come from behind. These miraculous victories strategy is based around this. Well, we know that. Shouldn't be question. So at this point. So at this point if the saints miss this field goal or sorry if they hit this field goal, the games basically over there up by two scores. It's very very hard to come back from that they kick it will. Let's their kicker comes out for fifty three yard field goal. He kicks fifty two year. He kicks it wide. Right. And misses the eagles. Get the ball back. No doing doing for nursing. Single getting intervention of God. Right. So Nick foles gets the ball throws pass complicit throws past complete Thursday pass completes. Suddenly they are driving. Everybody on Twitter. This is happening again. Nick, foles, big, Nick. Let's call it. Making this. Well. Just keep telling the story, they call them that because of his story from last year from his the locker room and okay, the lurid details, but so he's driving again. They're at about the twenty yard line. Suddenly it feels like he is about to tie this game. And send it into overtime. It is wild. People are going nuts people in the Superdome or stunned because it's the home team. And they're all shocked. So he throws it to this guy. I'll Sean Jeffery alshon Jeffery used to be on the Chicago Bears. So little bit coming full circle here. Right. So he throws a towel schon Jeffery alshon Jeffery like holds his hands up. The the ball is thrown to him perfectly. It slips through his hands and into the defender behind him interception game over saints. Acting. Oh, if you're going to blow your winning streak, or you're you're blessed streak, you might as well. Do it. The biggest way possible my blowing on a game winning touchdown pass. I guess well, it wasn't even his fault. She was like. The receiver. Right. That's true needed to hold his hands. Little closer together is really what it is. That's a. Does this mean that he's he's broken his streak because he threw a perfect throw. So it is reliant on both players..

"Saints radio network. I wanted you to hear to place for a couple of reasons. Number one. The the interception was significant because of the sensually gave the saints the chance to run out the ball, which they did with Alvin Kamara. But I wanted you to hear the crowd even on a radio call you can feel the almost vibrations coming through the microphone with the Superdome and the fans going nuts. So, but also a moment that alshon Jeffery. We'll never forget he had some acrobatic catches. We saw his athleticism. We saw him as an asset to the eagles and asset to Nick foles earlier in the game. But that ball went right through his hands. We're not talking about a ball that he had to stretch for that. He had to reach for that was off the Mark that he got a fingertip on. No, it literally went through his hands. Like a field goal would go through uprights. It went right through his hands. And no doubt. He felt terrible. We saw him on the sidelines. Doug Peterson tried to console him. And he has his head on on Doug shoulder. And then it folds comes over and tries to give them a hug, and he says how sorry he is. And afterwards he said, I let the whole team down. I let the city of Philadelphia down as much as that is the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, and I feel terribly for him. That's not actually true after the eagles scored those first two touchdowns. Do you know what they did the rest of the way nothing? They had an interception then they went punt punt punt pond Pont until the last interception. So the offense did nothing after the opening two drives credit the saints for riding the ship. They got popped in the mouth little jab. Maybe a bloody nose to go along with it. But they wiped it off, and they went back to work, and they have plenty of time when they had the crowd behind them, and they had drew Brees. And they had Michael. Thomas and they had that run game. But man for a second there. I was thinking holy cow. Are you kidding me? Is this going to happen again? So coming up Nick foles on his future because that is a major question Mark of the off season. And if you're looking for a loud statement, oh,.

"Awesome. Don't field advantage. But defense played phenomenal as well. And you know, we made enough plays down the stretch to get the win. Breeze with his eighth career three hundred yard game in the postseason. Certainly that eighteen play drive was a turning point. Marshon Lattimore with a couple of interceptions his first providing a momentum shift for the saints and coach Sean Payton, look, I thought there were a handful of swings in the momentum for us. That was a big one, you know, making the first down on the fake punt turn that into points with some tough calls go against, you know. It's hard to look at each or any one of the calls, but we fought through that. And so I I think probably when we watch this tape there's going to be. Probably four or five of those key swings early on, you know, they went against us. But that's not unusual in the postseason and we played from behind quite a bit this season. And I said what was the moment when you realize you're back in control, your the number one seed, you're playing the Superdome you guys usually should win this game. He said it was that. "So I get this opponent again. It's just not something that you used to sing they had that game one. Okay. They allowed a touchdown. They'll let a third down conversion of fourth down conversion to alshon Jeffery. They'll out of four downplayed a golden Tate. I didn't love the use of the time out when they're driving up the field that they call timeout rather than ran up to the line to spike the ball where they would've had the time out where they could've used the middle field and gotten closer because they had a time out. They had to field goal that client off the crossbar and the upright. I mean, there are so many things that if they make one of those place, we're not even talking about Kirk cousins and the Vikings you play the game to win to quote, our former colleague here Herm Edwards, and you try to do your best and they took care of business against the Vikings enrolled into the playoffs with momentum. They got. Turnover. They did so many things they had to they just didn't close it out. And that is not related to the week seventeen result in the final week of the regular season in my opinion. Well, at the end of the day, Adam the fact remains the eagles get the win. It's another win for Nick foles in the play offs. And we got a lot of males asking if this momentum that Nick foles has created over the past couple of seasons means something bigger long-term in Philadelphia. Let's give a listen. Good morning. Adam Schefter, my name is Damian Boral. And I might question for you. Simple should the eagles. Now trade Carson wiz. And if they do do the Jacksonville Jaguars make the most sense. Keep Nick foles and move on from Carson Wentz. And here's our on that on the question number one. I believe that they are firmly committed to Carson Wentz. I don't think at this time at this time being the key phrase that anything that happens is going to change that Carson Wentz is a transcendent talent. What Nick foles has done has been incredible. Nobody has done that much for the Philadelphia organization. The eagles maybe in the history of football. They've been unbelievable with him. He's been a underdog in four straight postseason games. He's come through with four straight postseason eagle winds. I've eagle fan true story. Texting me last night that they've been crying crying for fifteen minutes less. "Here's a team that doesn't win a championship for fifty seven years. They win one with Nick foles. And of course, we have no idea whether they're going to win one. The odds are against this time around. But even if they get close, you know, it's something that no eagles quarterback is chief in six decades in the lifetime of in living memory most people and yet it's like, well, that's not good enough. Like, what do they think they think Carson Wentz is gonna get them five Super Bowls? I mean, what's the possible thinking like if he does approve at this time? Is there perhaps it some level? Of course, they don't want to win. But a hope that like ho- we win. But Nick foles doesn't go twenty seven for twenty eight in all these games and make this really tough. Yeah. I kind of I mean. The NFL decision makers. Really don't like to be surprised like you say, okay. We got the rookie quarterback. We coached them up. He's excellent. He's got the pedigree. He was phenomenal. He was an MVP candidate got hurt. Nick foles is a surprise. He is the black swan of quarterbacks. Okay. And so everyone is stumped is trying to figure out how not how do we gain plan because they've done. Doug Peterson designed a phenomenal job of game planning around him. And weirdly his teammates seem to play better with him than Carson Wentz. Alshon Jeffery the number one receiver is much better. We'd Nick foles sometimes that happens, but they don't there's no plan like this is a sort of unprecedented situation because they don't have a plan for his future. "By the way. I like the eagles getting golden Tate. I liked that moved you like that move. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, look they've certainly had a need some skill position difference makers they've taken those hits at the running back position. Obviously, they they went through the early parts of the year without alshon Jeffery and some of the depth issues at the receiver position came to light. And so the idea of adding Golden State, I think certainly makes sense. He's he's tough. He's a competitor. Somebody who's got championship experienced having been on those Seahawks teams. And so I know the lions were wild about the idea of parting with golden tape because in so many different ways he fits what Matt Patricia is looking for. In fact, I talked to somebody there is yesterday. Who said we need more guys like golden Tate here. So certainly, you know, it's gonna cost you something to get Golden State out of the out of the Detroit organization. I think the eagles giving up a three shows how they value him. I certainly like it from the standpoint that you're giving your young quarterback another weapon to work with and the guy who I think from a Roma system and a program standpoint, really fits is a competitor. And a guy who's a fighter and a heady player. All right. Good stuff. Wanna thank Albert Breyer Monday morning quarterback for coming by to trading deadline. Few more hours. Thanks, albert. All right.
