And there's a fine line but i think ultimately It's it's good to have good credit in the event that you wanna use that to borrow money for for certain things at good rates and And you can use it to your advantage Having said that. Like i said it's not necessary to have good credit. Still do those things. It's just more difficult to do. Those things How you build it. isn't really super Complicated either you know by by things on credit and pay them off on time or early and and and be good about Thing that i do which. I would strongly recommend to really everybody out there. Whether you're trying to build credit or not misses a ba- a byproduct of it but is it really any of your monthly expenses that you have whether it's car payments Electricity fucking you know. Utilities whatever Even even house Mortgages anything that you can put on a credit card. Put it on the credit card. Now pay it off that month You know but but have that revolving credit you're constantly using it and In paying it off. That does two things one is that it helps build your credit. Because it establishes a positive history of of doing the right thing of borrowing money paying it back on time And in full credit card companies are looking at. If you're late on payments or you're not paying it back we'll fuck no. I'm not gonna lend you money if you have a history of fucking people over that lend you the money you know that that makes sense banks do the same thing but if you put it on a credit card that gives you miles or points or both cashback or whatever You know why not take make that Or take take advantage of that because of the that again. It's killing two birds with one stone. You get your credit built up Which is going to continue to increase your limits as well as give you an ability to to borrow money to do things that you want to do. But it's also giving your free airline tickets or cashback or Reward points for vacations or whatever so That's money that you're having to spend anyway. So why not fucking use. Use that to your advantage by doing both of those things in the process. Most people you know have bank drafts. You know that debit acs ach payments or whatever from From your bank account to pay certain bills whereas if you do that little bit of extra leg work and put it all on credit cards and pay him off then you get all that other other stuff too and so. That's an easy way to do it where you're not really having to do anything different than what you're already doing in terms of the money that you're spending it's just you're adding one step into that process that you do that for a few years and you'll see your credit go up significantly I do that with with business. Also my business expenses are are of course Astronomically higher than than my personal expenses. But i do that for both personal and business so that it It accomplishes the same thing so That's how that's how i do it and And how i've gotten my credit up into Where it's at now which is Which is excellent. Unless there is a guy that you meet that person one day That thing or whatever it ain't nobody can figure out the meaning of life so you just have to think about was going on in the world today and what kind of person you want to be before you leave this planet. I think that one of the that people should think about and stop worrying about will enjoy life so much better first of all you stop worrying about what's the meaning of life. Yeah you know how about this. How about simplifying in. No one is perfect. I'm not by any means. I'm not thinking. I'm better than anyone. But i'm trying to think this way. And i slip up sometimes. Once you understand that you can listen to them and you're paying attention to the the memory and the imagination that you have which are two incredible tools and you're constantly thinking about memory or imagination. You can manipulate it and replace every negative thought with a positive thoughts and that can be very powerful with what you attract and what you don't attract and so that's really what i've been. Only as far as a cosmic daniel thing is like focusing on listening to my thoughts and trying to replace negative ones with positive ones and being present in the moment instead of anxious or depressed. Something as much. Make fun of you. Nothing you go to fucking wild sometimes but one of the things i like about you is that you do try to live your life because life is life is very short and we can find a balancing giving to others while also trying to take care of ourselves and have you know make a realized that the important thing is life is to the important thing in life is to enjoy it but not on a selfish level nine. Enjoy to what you wanna rub in on other people take away from other people. Try to have balance where you enjoy your life and you've always enjoyed your life but be smart and also be responsible and try to help other people to while you're here is just starting to realize eh and another thing i've been learning. Is that like you're not separate from anything or anybody. Like i sound stupid. But it's true like we really are like all one like no one separate from it's a reflection and so you have to treat people like that like you would love yourself and love people too so yeah no. "Caroline I think we're gonna be diving into the topic of logistics today. And i think what people think about applying ai. Logistics are often thinking about tracking where trucks are tracking our inventory levels. But for you folks who've worked on some ai. Applications leveraging nlp for logistics and supply chain purposes obviously rolls royce of massive industrial organization. You have a lot of supply chain needs. Can you go a little bit into what the problem was. What you guys have kinda built to help your cause. They're sure dan absolutely so. Yeah i mean just a little bit of context rolls royce overseas a hundred year old company and as a result we are also company that manufactures highly complex and very high value physical things and as a result. We have a very complicated supply chain structure. We also have certain parts of our supply chain where there are very few companies around the world who can actually make what we need from all supply chain so they're all points in our supply chain weather arrow some quite quite high levels of risk in terms of sourcing strategy. Because we don't have an infinite number of supplies you cannot and on top of that we have or certainly did have a real challenge with the presence of what can really only be described described as incredibly dumb unstructured data across our supply chain so information held in pediatrics information on contracting terms on supply standards or capabilities or even designs on top of that an awful lot of our supply. Chain information is either engineering drawings or it's mathematical notation tabulated information and those are three categories off of data which is very hard for existing kind of simplistic optical character recognition tools to actually extract reliably. So over the last couple of years we've been working to develop a natural language processing computer vision capability that she allows us to extract intelligence from all of those kind of dumb unstructured data sources. So that we can use not intelligence to be much more adaptive much more flexible much more responsive in managing risk across supply chain and clearly given the challenges that we faced in some of our markets globalization being one of them over the last twelve months with the covid nineteen pandemic having that increased capability for managing supply chain risk flexibly being able to understand using machine intelligence to actually understand induce scenario modeling across ask supply chain that has helped to support our business in making very significant financial savings in terms of its response to the pandemic but also broadly in terms of ensuring businesses fit for purpose as we become out to the pandemic in terms of managing complex supply. Chain starches for the future hansard. There's so many ways that this can come into place we we've done a lot of One of the sectors where we do our ai. Opportunity landscape research. Every year is chain. Logistics looking at everything in terms of matching loads two vehicles for for transportation to inventory prediction an and arrival times and whatnot. Nlp in this space is interesting is novel and i can imagine so many ways that it might be leveraged can imagine you reading news and information about your various suppliers. Maybe it's the weather in the area. Maybe it's something about them. Having a bad quarter whatever the case may be and i can see that maybe being factored into what production volumes you think they may be able to do or what arrival times you might be able to expect or i could even say a system that just puts the most important news in front of a human analyst who can put it in broader context. Because of course there's so much context for that dumb data to actually speak to business needs on how specifically is nlp sort of working here. And what's maybe an example of where this is starting to be able to inform our processes inform our prediction. Or whatever it's doing yeah. I you're absolutely spots on that donna. Interestingly some of these cases or those areas that you've just mentioned there are exactly where we want to take capability next cohort of the work that we've been doing for rolls royce as a global entity in the first phase of development of this capability. We have been working with those tricky types of data that exists in manufacturing and engineering supply chain unstructured data sets. So those would let me give you an example much of what we communicate while supplies is communicated through drawings engineering drawings. So these these two d drawings which then need to be rendered into three day geometry's in order to be able to understand way to no debate able to understand how much waste material might be generated from from making components. Nfl which the supplier that component of will reimburse us for of course because they charge us for the bulk weight of the material and then the machine material they reinvest because they resell out secondary market so for us to understand for example you know how much is something away how much we're gonna cost to ship and transport How much rebate should we be guessing from from the waste material. That's been resolved by the supplier on. We need to be able to render a to d draw ring into its three d geometry now most of the during dumped exist in cat they only exist to droids so using a combination of competition and alpay. The nlp helps to extract the numerical information. That geometrical information is written around the drawing and the computer vision helps to manage the actual rendering of the drawing itself. You can actually turn your community station into three d rendering virtually and that of and allows you to couch might understand always questions about white about pricings about costing about justice about waste material might be generated for manufacturing

I'm pretty sure it will get appealed and and one of those scenarios that you mentioned was with a game fortnight right so fry had an integrated a payment system and they were like look. I'm not being apple. Thirty percent of my revenue. I made the game. I put it on the apple store I should get the benefits of that alpay. You alot toasters fee and this is the important. I cut me a sam but they try to subvert the apple payment system and next thing you know apple pulled him off the app store. That's worth some of this originated and it was such a huge story because four. Obviously such a huge in popular game but I i don't know if this has many legs. I gonna make a little bit noise but again i don't know if it has legs because again it would be so difficult to unwind and and peel back the onion in terms of how they hold apple. Legal system is built. How it's all made now. I think it would be easier on the on the android platform right just because again you can you can easily slide load apps right. You can easily have multiple other payment types of platforms and things like that. So i think it's going to be an easier discussion to allow something like this on the android side as opposed on the iowa side. But it's an interesting story to to see and again look everyone got. They're doing things and people are paying for. Get get money get you. I look i agree with the whole whole thing from that thing is i think it's hard because like you said if you build something and then you're like hey i want to get it out onto as many platforms as i possibly can to get you know. A a huge audience got to play by their rules. Yeah but you know but unfortunately it's like hey you're taking thirty percent of my cut. You know almost like the record business you know like you signed signed that deal is better to go independent. You know. But i get it. Apple and google playstore trusted places. But i mean there's people who say hey we're not on as other apps that are created harder for them to be trusted where you get into that billions and billions of users of downloads. Or you can get one hundred percent of that cut. If you go through google if you go through apple you gotta pay their. You gotta pay to play different. If you signed up. I it's like no different..

"To be that way. And there was no reason for him to hit me. Just because i had difference of opinion because i believe differently. And you know. That's that. I wasn't willing to go along with the fact that he was in a different relationship. Here with somebody else that i just wanted to be independent of. I don't mind if you have a relationship with somebody else as long as you know. I'm not forced to have a relationship with you if i don't want so. I made that decision. That this is not sustainable. Because tried to talk we had discussions. And when i tried to express i got beat up and when i just felt like you know my waist doesn't count then i had to take action and whatever opportunity i could find. It was five days later. I just decided that. I am capable. I can take care of myself. I will find way my my way back and that was the original plan. I was just going to leave. I just knew chicago is the nearest city. And i had a friend from ed school. Who is doing residency. I figured i'll get there and then i'll just Fly back to india borrow money. I'll fly back to india. I'm a physician in india. I can work my way alpay again. And that's that as far as you're saying that this is not supported it's would absolutely not be supported by my family's i had a plan to just go somewhere that they didn't even know where i was just so that they didn't have to. You know first of all that the they would not accept it and who knows what that would have resulted in two and also it's not looked upon very kindly culturally to for you to have a daughter who's divorced and of course despite all the education and their theoretical believes they ultimately didn't believe that to some extent of woman needs to compromise and the woman was their their sister here and so but this sister was not ready to compromise. So i was. That was my plan. I was gonna leave is gonna make a life of my own. But because i couldn't find my passport i couldn't leave the country and here i am twenty five years later. Well that is just a remarkable story of courage and and really. I can't thank you enough for sharing it because if there is somebody listening to this and i know there will be. And that's what communication is so using the techniques which will go over and over the course of the weeks using the techniques. The techniques aren't manipulative. It's why you're using them that makes manipulative or not or yes. So is it. They hand you a scalpel with a scalpel. If your murderer you can kill someone. if you're a surgeon you can save someone. It's the same tool. It's the intent of what you're using it for and my thing is my intent with these are to make sure people do what's in their best interest never within my best interests because that's not my thing and as we as we get more into this jackson realize like oh wait. That makes more sense because this isn't you manipulate yourself. Don't manipulate other people manipulate yourself manipulate other people. So in essence. Nlp is how to use the minds own language to consistently achieve the desired outcome. Nlp is an overlaying of anything you do. Nlp can be on it to make you more successful at than that's really what it is. It's not like this this. this is that way. It has taken the model taking the attitude taking the beliefs taking techniques. It doesn't matter if your therapist. I've taught nlp the therapists. It doesn't matter if you're dentist told him to dentists and it doesn't matter if you're a salesperson it's taking the model and putting it onto what you do now so that's really the core of nlp so the attitude methodology and techniques. The attitude is more important than a methodology. The methodology is more important than than than the techniques. if you don't have the attitude methodology the techniques. Don't don't do anything at all. They they really don't so this house. Nlp work with personality types. Nlp has nothing to do with personality. Types zero nothing to do with this In advance at alpay called meta programming. There is some of the myers briggs personality profiling but we're not concerned in nlp. What the person's personality is a profile is on more concerned with how you think what you think and how you make decisions this thing about how much easier life would be if you understood a person especially in sales. If you understood the person's decision making process on how they decide to say yes to you or how they decide to say yes to anything. If you actually understood the process they go through and then explain what you do in the same exact process.
