"Florida and more staff is anticipated. So this is happening at the same time that Tucker Carlson, and this is just nuts. I mean, this is like our crazy alert for the day. Tucker Carlson goes on TV last night. And remember, whenever there would be a school shooting, the NRA Wayne Lapierre would trot himself out and go, oh, it's a terrible tragedy that all these young children are dead. Now is not the time to talk about gun control because emotions are so raw and people are hurting. Right. And so we should send thoughts and prayers. Well, this is what Tucker Carlson said last night about climate change. This is nuts He honestly, yeah, this is what he said, quote. So when something is awful happens, something that affects the lives of millions of your fellow Americans, decent people step back for a moment. It's a moment that a man's reverence and silence to consider what we've just seen. See, I mean, he's just a little literally echoing Wayne Lapierre. He goes, I would say, the one thing you don't do is immediately jump forward to score some sort of cheapest lazy political point from it that used to be obvious, but for the past several years has been clear it's no longer obviously a one political party. What's he talking about? He's talking about news reporters pointing out that the storm is 20 to 30% stronger and larger and more water than it normally would be because of climate change. And he specifically calls out Stephanie rule Chris Hayes alley velshi joy Reid and others on MSNBC. In fact, he goes out and say, imagine taking a science lecture from someone who's stupid and Stephanie ruler Ali belty. So that level is ridiculous. He does have kind of a high squeaky voice. And of course, as we just suggested, although he tries to talk about testicle tanning and hanging out with the hells angels. It's also, as we just said, Justin unseemly an anti human. Of course, people are dying. So wait just a moment before putting forward your demands for more political power. And then he goes out and say, climate change is factually untrue. Right. Fox Russian news. You know, I used to call it Fox so called news. I'm not calling it Fox Russian. 'cause I don't know what else it is, right? The Russians are denying climate

"From NPR and W bur Antonya mostly this is here and now Wall Street is on pace to record its worst week since March as fears grow over rising Corona virus cases. Today. The stock market is up and down after taking a nosedive yesterday at the close. Meanwhile, third quarter GDP data released this morning shows the US economy grew by 33.1% at an annual rate. And that's the number we need to unpack. So let's bring in Alley Velshi, MSNBC anchor and economics correspondent. Hey, Allie. Take on your investors seems suddenly worried about how much worse the pandemic will get. Of course, in the fall in the winter, what's going on with the stock market? Yeah, I've been covering the stock market about 30 years and it seems to get dumber over time. We've known about this. We watch these numbers. We've seen the increases. Now all the sudden, France and Germany do exactly what we thought would happen they've announced Maur shutdowns We've got a sense of the worst is not behind us on DSO. Investors are worried. Like what does this mean for GDP and for income and for, you know, stock market growth next year, so they sell stocks now again? Things have turned around a little bit this morning, but we are on track for a very bad week, possibly the worst since March Since the beginning of Corona virus. Oh, wow. Okay, there, There is some encouraging news. The US economy grew At its fastest rate in history in the third quarter of this year, But analysts note the economy is still about 3.5% smaller than it was at the end of 2019 put this in perspective for us. Yes, so you'll hear And you've seen tweets from the president, saying this is the fastest growth in history. We we lost a third of our economy in the beginning of the year or between. You know when current virus started in the middle of the year, so wear now back to lower than we were at the beginning of the year. It's not anything to celebrate, and at the moment we have a problem in that interest rates have been cut, so there's nothing more for the Fed to do where it becomes very hard to do it. So we're looking at something called a case shaped recovery right. Some sectors of the economy, airlines and restaurants and leisure are struggling. Others are rebounding like stationary books and zoom and outdoor grills and fire pits and backyard furniture. But the bottom line is there's only so many outdoor fire pits and backyard furniture and things like that. You Khun by, so we have to figure out that we're not recovering unless there's ah therapeutic cure or a vaccine, And of course, we haven't been able to get straight answers from the government is to win that's happy. Earning. Anthony vouch, he says, might be the end of next year before everybody's got a vaccine, So that's what the problem is. We've seen some business come back, but if we've got a second round of shutdowns coming, it's going to. It's going to take us back to where we were in April and may. So can you clear this up for me? Is that why we're not seeing Theis economic growth appearing to help the stock market? Can you put that together for me? Explain why Yeah, So So what The stock market is a forward looking view of how things were going to do the stock markets basically, an advanced report part for companies and right now, the stock market is worried that look with all these things that we just talked about. It's possible that the earnings for companies, which is all the stock market price of a stock is a multiple of what you think the earnings are going to be over the next year. The earnings won't be great. Now as you and I are talking right now, the market has recovered sum. But it has fallen so much this week that fundamentally even these good numbers, even the fact that we had, you know, we've got a bit of an improvement on initial jobless claims were still in a deep, deep hole. We still lost 11 million jobs since March. We still don't have a strong economy, and that's what the that's what investors in the stock market are worried about right now. I see And we're less than a week out from Election Day. What role might the economy Playas President Trump and Joe Biden continue their final stretch of the campaign? Both and all the roles. Trump will go out there and tell you how great the economy is. And 30 plus percent annualized improvement in GDP. Biden will go out there and talk about those who Haven't got their jobs and businesses that haven't been ableto open. Bottom line is no one's message is going to change. The economy does happen to be the place in polling where Donald Trump is the strongest so In so far as he does trumpet thes things he has more to trumpet right now. But fundamentally, the economy is no different today than it was a week ago or two weeks ago. That's MSNBC anchor and economics correspondent Ali Velshi is always thanks so much. Thank you. Voters in California are deciding on several high stakes ballot measures from criminal justice reform to how to classify gig workers like ride hailing and food delivery drivers and to break all of this down. We have Scott Shaffer, senior politics and government editor at HQ in San Francisco. Welcome back to the show. Thanks, Tanya. Scott. Let's start with the classifications of gig workers. Prop 22 is the most expensive ballot measure in California's history. What's the latest on that battle? Yeah, it's a huge battle between the gig economy companies that are pushing it. And organized labor, which is fighting it to $220 million spent so far 90% of it by the tech companies and the latest polling shows. It's really going to go down to the wire Tiny of the recent UC Berkeley ideas, poll found 46% of likely voters supporting prop 20 to 42% opposing it with 12% undecided. You know if since the last poll, both the yes and the no sides gained a little bit, but still both short of that, 50%. It's probably going to come down to those undecided voters. Typically, you know, they tend to vote. No, but you know, in this crazy election year, who knows? Let's talk a little bit about prop 15. If passed, this proposition would require commercial and industrial properties to be tax based on their market value, rather than their purchase price. And this tax what raise billions of dollars a year for schools and local government services. Talk about why this one is pretty significant. Yeah, well, this is significant because it would be a major change to California's landmark anti tax measure. Prop 13, which past 42 years ago and right now all property taxes, Whether it's homeowners, corporations, farmers. They're all based on what the property was purchased for improv. 15 would create what is commonly known as a split role for property taxes, breaking commercial property.

"From NPR and W. B war and Peter O. Dau. This is here and now the Senate Judiciary Committee announced plans today to subpoena Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey after the company began blocking users from sharing a New York Post story on Hunter Biden's potential business ties in Ukraine. Story also includes unsubstantiated claims about Hunter, Biden's father, who, of course, is also the Democratic presidential nominee. After receiving backlash from conservatives, including from President Trump, Dorsey apologized and said Twitter's communication around its actions on the New York Post article was not great. Facebook also said it's reduced distribution of the post stories from or let's bring in Alley. Velshi, MSNBC anchor and economics correspondent and Allie Twitter and Facebook are saying The New York Post story violates the rules and is spreading and misinformation. What do you make of what the companies were doing here? This is fascinating, Peter. They're actually doing different things for different reasons. Twitter's reasoning is entirely technical. So you can still read about the story and read articles about what you can't see is The New York Post story the first time Twitter is actually blocked you from sending a link from a news publication and part of that is that the the complicated if you haven't read the story, But there's a problem with how the New York Post got the information. It's said that somebody who maybe 100 Biden dropped it off at a computer store and the computer store then gave some of that information to Rudy Giuliani and some of it to the feds. Twitter is saying that if this is hacked material, meaning if it was not procured properly, you can't distribute that on their platform. So that's Twitter's position. Facebook's is entirely different. Facebook is saying this is important may have misinformation, so it needs to be subject to Facebook's third party fact checking partners on while they are having it fact checked They are reducing its distribution through its algorithms. So you know, Facebook's algorithms determined how often you'll see a story whether it'll show up in your feet based on your preferences, and things like that. Facebook is sort of ratcheting that down until they have been ableto either put a warning on it or say that it's factually accurate and ready to go out to different platforms, both really influential, doing two different things. That will limit people's ability to see the story. Meanwhile, there's been an outcry claims of censorship. We hear the Senate now subpoenaing Jack Dorsey. On the other hand, there are legitimate concerns over the veracity of those sources in the New York Post story, and all the while this is becoming a politicized controversy. Yeah, I mean, this is and it may have gotten larger by virtue of these actions by Twitter and Facebook, Because now everybody's attention is on it where it might have looked like a New York Post story that's on an outlet that is favorable to Donald Trump Fed by Rudy Giuliani, who's been on this mission to get information from Ukraine. So yeah, there are riel. Issues to be looked at in the story, and I think part of what Twitter and Facebook are trying to figure out is how do you get that information out there The valid part of the discussion without simply amplifying something that they're not sure is information or misinformation right now, and that's really the heart of the problem with this thing, What is Twitter and Facebook and Social media's responsibility when it comes to the veracity of the story? A zit relate to the distribution of that story. What we do know from the last election is that fake stories and sensational stories get a lot more pickup than straight news stories, so they're struggling with that? All right. This is going to be a story that will be worth watching as it unfolds in the days and weeks ahead, Velshi, MSNBC anchor and economics correspondent. Thank you. As always, for your time. I appreciate it and you're listening to here and now States and a few cities have a big deadline. This week. They're code 19 vaccine distribution plans need to be submitted to the CDC. But that's just the beginning. Planning is just that. It's not execution when the whistle blows and we start this campaign is going to be close to a year long efforts. How health departments are strategizing on the next morning edition from NPR News. Stay informed with a story tomorrow morning.

"Yes the show does start now and I am the Derek had welcome to the program is Monday the eighth of and it is the final for George okay the last memorial service today and hopefully we can start returning to some semblance of normal we'll see lots of things to get to course the the left never sleeps and insanity never takes a day off for a weekend off but we can finally apply the mostly peaceful label to the protests began Saturday protests across the country very few rights which again it doesn't really make a great case to say in the Hindenburg's journey across the Atlantic was mostly uneventful yeah but that last little bit again what happened that is where we are as a society and that's where we started you know that you are a racist did you know that because you are it doesn't matter who you are or what you are and even if you're not a racist you're a racist this is going to be cut one Brian because the left has decreed itself they can fundraise off of it they can motivate people off of it and no matter how untrue something is no matter how destructive something is no matter how damaging something is if the left can use it if it can help them there it doesn't matter they don't give a damn about anything other than winning they've been in charge of these cities where everybody's demanding action for generations and they haven't done anything they haven't done anything but they're out there is that we must do something these are systemic that what you designed the system in these places if there's systemic problems why'd you build the system that would be a question I would ask if I were so inclined and it's a question I'm asking now and we don't really have an answer from anybody because again the questions aren't being asked it is qualified to talk about wanting to get rid of qualified immunity for police you want kind of a qualified immunity democratic politicians are immune to have absolute immunity from the consequences of the actions they've taken and of the laws that they passed on our fault that the laws we passed sock well do they or don't they or maybe it's people who knows they found a pet project the fun to the police and they found an argument everybody is racist and that's all they really care about this is cut one here is alley Velshi on M. S. N. B. C. the other day say if you're not a racist that's not good enough you're probably are racist anyway this is the argument Democrats are going to be making in the coming days because well that's what Democrats do let's listen to it you think well you're making this up there come on no no not here's alley Velshi saying exactly that cut one go ahead well I think you're not racist you.

"Have a cloudy Friday that's Friday though that used to be a big deal now I guess it doesn't make a difference we have lots to get to get the president trump the Twitter battle will get to the the disastrous mess in the Minneapolis will get to what's re opening and when we'll get to governor Cuomo's latest theatrical stunts and all of that and Bill Clinton Clinton what is really going on a moment we'll get to that coming up that Joe Bartlett is in the South Carolina Joe Bartlett it looks like a little gloomy up here if you're in Connecticut you're allowed to eat outdoors but not that good the dimension is that **** check the weather forecast deceiving go out to dinner that's true it's S. six a lot of getting used to this thing anyway it's week ten you got a couple more weeks left if you're in New York it's going to re open pretty soon it's already June what is June first is that Monday I can't believe that it's already June on Monday so I think within two weeks New York will start to really open up I think you'll be back to semi normal kind of normal by I'd say the fourth of July everything is is going well you you know you hope you hear these stories and you just did one of the meat packing plant in Texas three hundred people have it this of food dressings under twenty people it makes it sound like a we're in real trouble the reopening was a mistake you have to remember something you're always going to hear about two or three food processing plants with there's an outbreak bear this in mind though in the United States there are thirty six thousand four hundred eighty six food processing processing plant so you've got thirty six thousand four hundred and eighty four with this no problem so whenever you hear two plants have a problem this is out of almost thirty seven thousand so just always bear that in mind put it in perspective the situation in the Minneapolis if you had a chance to really look at that mayor of Minneapolis that is a little bit yeah what it does Sastre he makes the Blasi oh look like Churchill what all oracle ineffective weak awful mayor you know you wonder and it's not just the one cop you know that one cop obviously should be indicted a measly for murder you know everything takes along with government investigations F. B. you know you're you just look at the video you to arrest the guy and thirty seconds but they got to put the case together lay everything out do everything correctly but we do not see these new pictures from the other side of the car it's clear it's for officers involved in that he's got his knee on the neck but there's two other officers helping him hold the guy down there going to be just as guilty there's another cop standing but he's standing there sort of guarding them he knows what they're doing in the he doesn't stop them there are a couple of things under the laws that you can you are criminal if you don't stop what you're saying you've seen the murder somebody and you don't stop it even if your policemen and under Minnesota law it's it's a crime so all for these guys who will be indicted very soon but that mayor is just a disaster you know us first watching the story break was a horrifying story but every time they do the stories they kept cutting to president trump in the middle of it as if he had something to do with it the cut cut cutting in video of him like there's some connection there isn't if you're watching David we were Lester Holt the first couple of nights these fake news guys they whenever they showed a clip of the mayor it was making him look like some sort of hero like a you know we'll take care of the will get to the ball hit the the mayors the problem here it's his cops his police force his training his policies as a democratic mayor that's why he got a pass to democratic governor too that's why they get a pass but governor seems a little better what does the reason you're seeing it spiral out of control looting rioting all this crap is this mayor he's just a disaster and look how bad they are those they arrested a CNN crew last night the looters interested what the CNN crew is he's just the worst mayor ever in most of those studies under the blouse your email still is seriously the plaza looks like a great mayor compared to this case just an absolute disaster what do we know the cops name with his knee tweet fashion sh yeah sure von a thinker should should ban or something like that it's his last name and date of death yeah Derek is first thing most people don't know the name but I guarantee you within by the end of a June this gotta be the most famous guy in America the most hated guy in America will go down in the history books as the worst cop ever in the history of America he will be and we just there's no defense no I mean all you can do what he's doing besides being totally evil looks insane he looks like an insane maniac deliberately killing this guy if you were to put your knee right and somebody's neck there's a spot in the neck where you actually could kill somebody so if you put your knee there you can see his other foot is off the ground so it's not just the need but all the weight is on that spot and he held it there for eight minutes so he's just a murderer he's just a killer and there's you know a lot of cops around these people around there's cameras running your weather is this stuff kind of that used to happen but you didn't have all these cell phones with cameras so what could the guy argued in what if you're the lawyer what's the defense you gotta just plead insanity you're saying we we've seen cases like this or the cops signal of making an arrest can be violent and he was resisting and that's usually the usual excuse but yet he doesn't have too many defenders so he disguised in real trouble yeah you know in the R. garner case you could argue well he's he was resisting he was he was pushing him with his arms he was moving is a big huge guy kept portions are seeking you could make that case because it was a lot of but it did I meet whatever situations we can make the case he can't hear the guy was on the ground he was under arrest in hand cut once you got the guy in handcuffs and is on the ground that's it it's over everything stops so I meet at and even had a put your knee there for a second even if you could make that argument why were you holding it for eight minutes probably was dead after one minute so this guy just all we can do is plead insanity and that's what he should do there's nothing else he could do it it's just the worst cop ever in the history of America he'll be a the riding just you if you didn't think MSNBC was fake news if you think they slant the story's twist the stories and why do you if you think MSNBC live whose report was at alley Velshi Ellie bell Shia alley Velshi is on the street is the correspondent they're reporting this what what did you say there's nothing wrong nothing there's no violent nothing is not unduly it's not unruly behind them you can see explosions you can see flames you consider building was on fire there were rocks flying behind you I mean you could see it with your own eyes the police station was on fire you could hear windows smashing you could see flames and explosions this alley Velshi stood there this is a typical MSNBC liar by the way he's a nice guy in real life he he's a business correspondent member C. N. any used to do that it was the business reporter suddenly the right expert who said it's not really just an out and out lie from alley Velshi why do they do that why don't they if they're gonna do that when they turn the cameras off so you can't see that it's totally out of control hello how do you describe it like that anyway well you know why it's M. S. N. B. C. who's he talking to Brian Williams you can rate the light hi Brian Williams was reporting live from the scene even though you could see was right the studio but I can tell you he was there you remember used to tell you he was whatever happened he was there so we will get back to that what do you what what is Twitter thinking what do you think this going through the minds of Twitter there we just got to stand up to Donald Trump is a bully I guess so maybe that's it he's got a lot of weapons there are a lot of arrows in his quiver he can shoot at you so they have been going crazy you know went back and looked at yesterday Joe Biden's tweets over the last few months either you want to fact check you could do it but bite me just makes outrageous claims he says things that didn't make any sense he said a hundred thousand dead and it's all Donald trump's fault I meet that didn't get a fact check this stuff like that just ridiculous idiotic claims so and and and the latest thing is that there was a tweet from Donald Trump which I didn't quite understand he said once the looting starts the shooting starts what did that mean did he mean we'll shoot the looters or did he mean if you'll allow looting next thing you know we get the those people be start start shooting the looters is that what is the beauty of these trump things it can go either way act most people took it like they're going to start shooting looters yeah I don't think that's what it meant because it's happened in the past we could problem is you get people who are genuinely angry they want to come protest the problem is whenever you get that you get another bunch you know these George Soros antifa crowds to come in and try to stir it you you'll get these agitators who come in and just try to get it totally out of control and then you get a bunch of people who really have nothing to do with anything they couldn't care less to just professional looters who show up so I I I mean I would think what he meant was if you allow all this to keep spiraling out of control next you know people start shooting so Twitter censored the tweet they put a block on it so you have to what what it say it was promoting violence and I think LOL we glorifies violence you could find a billion tweets that do glorify violence in one way or another but I don't know I giving Twitter is just trying to show we're not intimidated we're not afraid it's that stupid to you know like the nerdy kid who's told if you see a bully just stand up to him don't be afraid just stand up to him mmhm which she does and then he gets beaten the whole I think something like that and so it's not going to work out for a Twitter in the end they got all kinds of you you battling with the president I'd states who can regulate you I know you need the bought off enough congressmen that you think Congress will never pass anything you own too many congressmen you bought off humor and company that might not might not protect you but the real reason for all this everybody is trying to tamper with the election coming up that's the goal election tampering in November that's one reason that some professional George Soros type agitators might be coming in there to get the riding going because they figure that'll hurt the president they always think anything bad it's going to hurt the president but they never studied their history you know Richard Nixon was not going to win in nineteen sixty eight Hubert Humphrey was going to win but then riots broke out in the summer of sixty eight and became a summer of riots all over different cities all over America it turned the election around for Richard Nixon it made Richard Nixon the front runner because some people saw the writing it wasn't stopping was getting out of control Nixon just ran as the lawn order guy and I don't know he was he wasn't but he seemed like he was a law and order guys if you wanted to stop this and get long order restored he was the guy and when it comes to this if it's Biden trump who looks more like the law and order guide it'll restore order obviously have not biting so governor Cuomo boy is he he has acted really forcefully.

"Generally speaking it's not unruly as the burning building is seen over his shoulder he does acknowledge that you burn that they burned a building but they're burning buildings riddle me this watch the the only way to burn a building how do you burn a building and not be unruly I'm curious I guess I guess alley Velshi has to explain that to us the desperation the desperation to try to justify rioting and looting on the left it's it's actually pretty comical I was I was considering playing the famous clip from a movie what movie was that Eric would lose that the naked gun Leslie Nielsen here member Leslie Nielsen any standing there okay all well and behind him he's just Armageddon people are jumping out of buildings it's a funny clip I think it's inappropriate to play it today because I'm deeply concerned about what happened in Minneapolis I'm deeply concerned about what the nation is experiencing but that's what that clip was like standing in front of a burning buildings I know generally speaking generally speaking an unruly by gosh Scott you're on the Mike Gallagher show he's got hi Mike I'm reading a article from the insider dot com which shows that the neck bending technique that the officer used in Minneapolis was then approved and also trained system that the police were trained to use in Minneapolis well with that number I've got a number of police officers say that that's it's a technique that is used but of course important and Inc incumbent upon the officer is when the suspect is subdued and restrained and doesn't resist you you you let you get up reblog yeah so I was thinking about why would this police officer do this and I was thinking about the Freddie gray situation in Baltimore where he was hitting his head against the paddy wagon inside of it and so was this police officer doing what he was trained to do while trying to protect this guy from himself well there what did you did you see the video did you see him heading his own head against the ground in any way shape or form I mean again there was none of that I I there but you never know I mean you're right there that's why it investigation is needed however of millions of Americans are saying there's gonna have to be accountability for this officer incidently the Freddie gray thing was very controversial all kinds of debate about what happened to him of many you know pointed out hitting your head doesn't relate really result in your your spinal cord being snapped or whatever happened to him he had horrific injuries and again what there there are so many good police officers and we've heard from hundreds of in the last couple of days many emails calls many people weighing in saying that this makes all police officers look bad and that's a mistake but that's listen she called and read right outside my apartment building in New York City.

"At the side of the riot any tries to downplay telling you it's not really a protest is at the pride that does have the right to stay it's it's a protest it's not it so that the on the screen it says buildings burning police precinct burning behind him you literally see building giant building on fire an alley Velshi of M. S. N. B. C. despite all that when your eyes are telling you he goes full of Frank Drebin listen to this to be clear and how I we have broadcast it is it is not generally speaking Rowley he started and and there's a crowd that it really then Rowley lease precinct on fire buildings on fire stealing looting violence throwing Molotov cocktails at police cruisers that's not on Rulli in alley Velshi is world whole crap all the crap and I will give you a little bit more media coverage of this are you cool with that Brooke Baldwin I don't know if you're aware of Brooke Baldwin is she's an anchor on CNN she actually had the Chinese virus and I documented how hard it was for her survive of course and we will survive she's white she's white she has on a guest turns out to be R. E. city council woman in Minneapolis the same woman the same woman that said she wants to declare racism a public health issue Andrea Jenkins is her name yes racism is a public health issue we don't even know the motive exhibit maybe this cop is just a cycle path we don't know maybe is a racist racism the public now because this one guy in those three idiot cops I watched it happen because of that racism is a public health issue so she has this woman on and Brooke Baldwin the white Brooke Baldwin gets all sad one forty two live on television on C. N. N.'s he didn't see it listen to this how would you there are so many emotions as I'm sitting here listening you know I'm I'm having my own I'm surprised at my own emotions on on on TV with you but I've just as a as a white woman not aware of my own privilege in this country I am so angry thank you and I can't even begin forgive me I'm aware of my own privilege of course I'll do nothing about it you know she really believes he has the privilege it's so bad broke why don't you give up your salary you know give it half your salary as reparations or something like that when you give up your job your procedures job on CNN and your white I mean you probably haven't because you're white that's what your tweet you think give up your job to a an Asian person Hispanic person a black person just given up give it up literally crying on the air about the color of her skin as if she did something wrong as if the re a they're the reason this is garbage cop was killed people in the past Amy Klobuchar decided to not press charges on him when she was in charge of that in Minnesota as if somehow we know that it was his white privilege that made him do it insane I have that video it's it should be up any second now on my page and can S. T. dot com I that white privilege you notice that the you know and never look this the media anything they could do to attack white people they do right remember how they went after the whites Covington high school kids when after them yeah do you know that in Minneapolis and I think Saint Paul so people putting signs in their windows black owned business they're hoping the rioters skipped past their business because it is a black owned business what have been seven white owned business here we go racism is there but he can't be racist whites black you know any so what do you tell me that if it's a white owned businesses okay to destroy their business those people are guilty because they're white is that what you're actually saying it seems to be that that is exactly what they're saying eight eight zero can S. T. eight eight zero five six seven eight I'll go anywhere I have much much much more we have a lot to get to holy cow again one person does one thing an entire race of people your talk about stereotyping the fax actually showed other wasn't a shooting here this guy killed the guy though near his neck I have the actual study I'll get this when we get back it was a study done by university R. white police officers more likely to shoot minorities are day what are the facts say I'll get it to you coming up don't go anywhere.

"Police out to turn over the protesters it's Baltimore all over again this madness this ad on MSNBC the president of the United States is now advocating the gunning down of Americans for property crimes I it's got to be true it's on NBC news they're reporting right there well good Friday happy Friday to you it is wacky country these days is not so I'm fond of saying because it's true the left is the third world if the left takes over a country they turned it into a third world country of the left takes over a city no it's harder in America because of our economy and another show and things but they turned into a third world city and the left yesterday I mean honestly they've got this guy is have you seen this guy this little Danby they've got as the mayor of Minneapolis it is a terrible terrible situation he is and and he he drew he told the police to evacuate their their that the precinct and turned it over to the rioters and looters and it was naturally sacked and looted and burned the police station was and in Minneapolis and and that was alley Velshi at MSNBC last night NBC news saying really it's not as were there and it's not very unruly he said it's not this is what the news media's failure it's not on really and the and the president I'd states sent out a tweet last night and his tweet he's wagging his finger at the Democrats in control of Minneapolis and of Minnesota for not doing enough to control the situation that is that when the looting starts the shooting starts when the litigants what he said in a tweet he said when the looting starts the shooting starts now that has of course been interpreted in the most and and Twitter by the way put a freeze on that day if they put a you know they stopped it they blocked it you have to go through an extra step to get that trade because it violates their policies apparently they interpreted the phrase when the looting starts the shooting starts to be and that's what N. B. MSNBC is reporting this morning that the president is now advocating shooting Americans skews me gunning down Americans for property crimes history that's their interpretation of whether looting starts there's a big starts it's quite remarkable it's not it's not a reference to the fact that there was looting and people have been shot is he added that the situation is not under control is that the situation is out of control they drew the police out of the riot zone and just as they did in Baltimore never Stephanie Rawlings Blake the the mayor in Baltimore we have the Freddie gray riots and other local heroin dealer and and all that stuff and she drew the police out said she wanted to what you what you what was it my because you want to give them the space when I get in my space I think was the line we I.

"Justice Hank why bloom fox news just imagine how wonderful to sun would be if everyone was stimulated K. and S. T. E. A. M. seven ninety two sons most stimulating talk so yesterday the president was in the rose garden and he had a bunch of C. E. O.'s there Procter and gamble C. E. O. was there a lot of people and he talked about how they were all pitching in to help and the media and Twitter went crazy I love this one trump showcasing executives from all these private companies instead of talking about government efforts is a reflection of how little this administration is doing to respond to the corona virus but nothing nothing lips the media up and lit social media up like Mike Lindell Mike Lindell got up there he's the guy for my pillow and he's retooling his factories to be able to make masks for the hospitals that's why he was there and when he got up to the microphone he said thanks Mr president if you don't mind I'd like to just make a quick statement he said god gave us grace on November eighth two twenty sixteen to change the course we run god's been taken out of our school and out of our laws out of our lives a nation is turned its back on god I enter encourage you to use this time at home to get back to the word to read our bibles bring your families back to god I thought it was incredibly brave and it's not unusual unfortunately yes it is in the world of the media this is from alley Velshi from M. S. N. B. C. trump just call the my pillow guy up to the podium in the rose garden you can't make this stuff up a James o'grady are you effing kidding me at the my pillow guy on the cell is garbage product during a pandemic briefing he wasn't selling anything no one no one fights a pandemic better than or more scientifically than in it the insane my pillow guy talking about the Bible it went on and on and on Mike Lindell is here to to respond and and tell us how he's feeling today Mike I thought you were incredibly brave say what you said because you knew you were going to take a beating for it I thought it was eloquence and I thought it was exactly the right thing to do congratulations for doing that Mike well thanks and I I did not I had roaches pro does have no try actually turned to the president provided all party I said yeah I'm gonna go out the copyright I didn't you know I thought I didn't think you'd be a task like that I really don't care about what I got I got over it and then I have over seven hundred and fifty some text messages course number god I didn't even know I had that many people I have my phone number we a report of a dog you would did you so I retail tree down kill three in the morning but I actually I actually what I would today be bad media sites simply more prescribed to be put out there and well one thing I want to say is I thank everyone out there even for both sides because so many people that were on the side even the media that say in these horrible things they're people they're going you know what we just like you just said he wasn't the only thing what's wrong with being home with your family then that's just your opinion and their father but this country like I told the president I said you know Mr president we had a we were in the oval office for about a half hour after that him and I and I said you know what I said these press briefings are so good because people are seeing who you really are who we are you know they part in it and all this big news in this crazy attacks out there by the left they said I could I got old I said here's where it's going now and I read a text I got from a friend of mine whose views are very much a president you hate her and we're set I read a Truman said Mike you know I'm not a big Donald Trump are profound but he said you know what god bless him he's doing an incredible job you thank you for the job of a champion here I think you've grown on me and this is what's happening I think people are gonna quit be a brainwashed by this horrible read the media and they know who they are yeah and and then and in the public schools going to see this this amazing job in our presence to one but I saw it on my computer interview after interview today and I'm taking all the bad ones I I think of going on the view tomorrow I'm wrong washing all my gosh I I I I love it I want to go right into the hurricane I did find that I get to speak out for Jesus like I want to that's great that's great so my kids tell me about your company is doing he he had you on on the stage along with other CEOs because you're doing something with your company tell me what you're doing well about two weeks ago I said you know what we got a big mouth there was a need I reached out to the vice president he was had this you know this whole thing and reach out to his office and they directed me to Peter Navarro who are who called who called me right back and then called me in and he says we have this thing set up for coalition I called them they were so helpful in finding out specs that I need to be taught Malcolm and then I I had I would first get you know figure out where to get the elastic in our country and and in the meantime I said you guys were doing we're going all we had and we revamp my one of my factories two hundred thousand square feet and we put in safety precautions for all my employees were there checked the door and then you can and then I tried to they can take breaks when they want and we want all it by within three days we were up to ten thousand now streaming on no I'm running three ships and we want to get up to fifty thousand by the end of the week but one of the things that happen glam was way way way fifty thousand fifty thousand a great day or at the end of the week a day no I I certainly count one yeah we're we're very good at we're very good at ramping up the my pillow and and use use the big numbers and I have such an amazing team we we had the Bolshoi wishing the part we had a I did have a very expensive a die cutter that cuts the fabric so an inmate but one of the suspects because they wanted a hundred sixty thread counter better my turns out it was two oh five double George Borjas so we overshot the mark and so there was a lot of things that were that were us fed up almost perfect for such a time as this for my pillow to get involved but well one of the things that's happened yes I became like a bicycle hub but I've got a whole team of people I have twenty people it's like a kelp forest where she gonna put a website up because we're good right you know from all over the country you know Hey how can I get involved as a business how can I help I have five other businesses I dealt with the switched over to getting so in these basket made a you know one of it's just the people that were there at the White House there are so many companies out there that are stepping up and it's just amazing to see that you know the I I read one of the guys that said you know that is that he's the fact that the president is showcasing these private industry shows how little his administration is doing that is the idea of a free market this is exciting and why do we always pull ahead in a crisis because the free market is easy we don't have to wait for the government to requisition things we just do them we find a better way to do them and we get it done absolutely and I want to tell everyone out there I went to the White House I'm here as you know you know me I'm an optimist beyond belief I went to the White House and I'm first we had a roundtable thing with advice for the president these are in these other companies are myself with yeah and they and they're talking about you the statistics he goes he says to me says Mike this one truck they said it would take a year if they did it in two weeks I mean he's able to check the private sector and the government saying you know what this one company called up and they owe one governor called me up and said Hey Hey I'm like yeah the the the government's blocking us a federally by the federal they I'm in he called up the FDA approved in two hours but what it took months I mean this is what gives the best idea there's a calm here's commonsense problem solution and what it's going to melt this Joe and it's just no you've built for that I mean I what I left there I'm more optimistic now that I was and for me to go up debate you know to double my optimism while he's going to go through this I was so I can show everyone likes all made the things they're doing he is a guy and I've said this for a long time he loves the crisis he just loves he he lives for that that moment of crisis he creates he creates chaos you know through his Twitter feeds and everything because he loves it he feast on it this is a real crisis and you can see how he is he has stabilized all of the other behavior that usually causes the crisis because he is in a real crisis now and it's anybody's he's operating as I think he does when he's building giant you know building projects he can just take on a whole bunch of different tasks and remain steady how is he here to you his his spirits and and how it is he tired yeah nope nope that'll be key tires I mean you were smarter than anyone ever I've never seen you know twenty out of twenty dollars out of a twenty four hour day he does have my pills we get quality sleep I'll put a plug in there the the he he is active like you just said it he lives for death he he he knows he's the best out of it and he is like a big guy running out orchestra all these different files at the same time and cutting through the tape to get this done to get this done and it's amazing any spirits are good he does you know he's I think he's one thing people don't realize the bottom is he's our he's amazing listener he takes it all in and he will be right at the figures you just plug it in plug a computer taking interest rate and then you get the top job in the yep you just wait for it and here's the answer and you're going to have a hard time changing my mind once you give that answer you that you're not going to you know just the right thing and just because you've got other people putting their employees to maybe help in their own agenda once he makes that decision is going to get from point a to point B. and there's nothing going to stop it's just a matter of how you get there did you with the other CEOs did you guys talk about the economy and and how we're gonna turn this thing back on yeah yeah you know the that's what they were you know one of the things is one of the things the prostrations I got I brought up I said you know there's you see all these places that are open like your wal marts and grocery stores and as I am I was sick of when I walk into one and they don't help people at the door security is saying he put a male's gun uses family ties are here or even their own employees within the business I send up of my pillow why not be widely why don't they have safety things that they're getting to be open just because there is central these people are and I I told the president set down in Oklahoma and the mines got house of David it you know obviously they're not it's not considered are essential that you have a church open but yep there's a hard worker I mean our car parts store where they're all congregated with no master got the courts don were melting and what's wrong with that picture I mean and if not we need state practice for their businesses are there so they can give us confidence you know when when we when we go back to our other the other businesses start open up these are going to you know this is showing se practices is just and we did talk about the economy belts with the president right now he's hearing on one hand millions of people.

C. did the same thing traces trump has called the my pillow guy up to the podium in the rose garden you cannot make this stuff up what are you doing Alan del she over it C. N. B. C. I'm M. S. N. B. C. what what how many days does he let you in the back room over there with your sewing machine are you making this face masks in that room putting together ventilators Newsweek columnist at Abrams and he's just the worst you tweet out your trumpet this is my media doesn't want to cover your god emperors coronavirus rallies because the G. G. my pillow CEO was holding forth on the lectern on a day that five hundred Merican died in twenty thousand got sick from the virus the briefing was intended to focus on I'm and what what have you been doing Seth Abramson Scott Dworkin is deputy director of the two thousand nine presidential inaugural committee and two thousand twelve GMC said now trump is having my pillow guys because of server has been stopped airing trump joy Reid of MSNBC when she's not busy writing homophobic posts that you put in somebody else wrote wrote not a prank okay perfect everything is fine over the same side of the day would be some opponents of TV Karen from pressure allowing corporations to use them as advertising platforms seems like the exact opposite of news it how are you this blind how are you this blind your top priority is how dear this guy mentioned god and praise trump he's developing tens of thousands of masks that's the priority you do like seriously what the hell is wrong with you people what the hell is wrong with you people is it why will you your entire priorities trump is not getting the medical resources to people on time this guy is going out of his way to convert his entire factories to produce medical resources and your chief takeaway is he's he's being nice to trump so he's bad manners bad bad man meanwhile members the media continue to stump for trump suppressors to be canceled on TV because very badly trump should be like look you're fact checking in will know it I mean what first of all the worst thing that could happen for members of the media is for trump suppressors to start to stop being aired well they do the rest of the day after the report on the news I instead they will be able to fulminate pretend righteous indignation don lemon last night over on C. N. is it why are we even taking from stressors well because a lot of news where the stuff is happening in the compressors Hey doctor Brooks is speaking they're not about to speaking there and yes it's newsworthy one eight self made millionaire in the United States with tens of thousands of employees converts his dozens of factories over to making mask that happens to be a news worthy thing even if you don't like the fact that he's a religious question likes trump idiots there's someone on C. N. N. making a fool of himself I'm not actually sure if you want to be honest then we should carry that live I think we should run snippets I think we should do it afterwards and get the pertinent points to the American people because he's never ever going to tell you the truth it's obvious it's transparent to me this is become those press briefings have become his new apprentice they become his new rallies and he treats the press and the media as if he's talking to the people in his rallies it's the same thing no difference is that the audience is not there he just don't like the president I get I get the hate trump and you hate that he's president you don't like how he talks and all that I just run so talks to guess what he the president of the United States you know I don't like how he talked also in a different way Barack Obama was just much more subtly telling lies in some flooring little more than a moment but first let's talk about the fact that right now its economic tough times that means you need to be as efficient as humanly possible about your business not just for now but for later when the economy starts.

"Protest high injury rates and a grueling quota system that requires them to pack two thousand Amazon orders a day that's for packages a minute for more let's bring an alley Velshi MSNBC anchor and economics correspondent an alley let's first talk about the Staten Island warehouse this is a facility that according to Amazon's own data has an injury rate three times higher than similar work warehouse work what's going on there I mean keep in mind Amazon has more data on everything then kind of anyone else so they have been no this an OSHA report on the warehouse stated that that fulfillment center which is where orders get to be mailed out to you has eight incident rate that is higher than any other job that is monitored by the bureau of labor statistics which is parked part of the department of labor and is three times how higher than the warehouse work average the issue here is that vox has reported and and others have reported that Amazon workers you just have to keep up this two thousand unit per day thing that's four items per minute and if they stop just world few seconds outside of their designated breaks it hurts their performance evaluations I mean it's it's part of being human though to stop at moments I to take it all right in a sense of things not in in in a one day delivery environment particularly as you get to Christmas right this is the thing retailers including Amazon are competing to get things out faster and faster and faster when you buy things on the internet there are somethings that offer to deliver within the within a few hours all of this is putting remarkable pressure and the industry that deals with packing these goods is not involving to sort of say maybe two breaks today is not sufficient for people who have to pack this stuff yeah here's the thing though Amazon is making this huge investment and one day shipping and I mean how do these workers complaints actually fit into that strategy do you think it might be the short term pain as they transition to this or is it a larger show of maybe work place culture yeah right they're worried that it's going to be a bigger problem right there these workers are pushing for three thirty minute breaks during a ten hour shift and then two fifteen minute breaks and a thirty minute break for lunch so they're they're trying to figure out how to do this but there are reports out there that these kinds of it this kind of work the pain that comes from standing in packing boxes could be a sign that people will develop certain disorders that they don't have injuries to their joint they're likable and like if their muscles their nerves their tendons repetitive strain injuries so there's and by the way that's all psychologically distressing to so people really need this work they take it they work really hard and then they get sick so this is where you know they're trying to unionize at this particular land but there are real concerns that this has to be addressed now we want faster goods for less money there is an entire class of people who are now being affected by this and it's not just warehouse workers drivers to drivers as well yeah drivers as well I mean it really begs the question in the thirty seconds that we have with you I mean do we need to rethink our demand for the same day or one day shipping or can we actually turn the ship around it sets that already sailed and how how will we get three four there's a third option that it's not all free right you want faster shipping and people have to work harder we have to pay more we have to have more shifts we have to give people breaks I think there's an answer to this but we don't have it yet and as we're gearing up every time you click remember yeah we may be contributing to the problem.

"N. P. R. W. B. O. R. I'm Jeremy Hobson stocks jumped at the open on Wall Street this morning on his from China that there could soon be a de escalation of the trade war China said today that it has reached an understanding with the U. S. that both sides will roll back the terrorist piece by piece if and here's the big if both sides can sign what's being referred to as phase one of a trade deal for more let's bring an alley Velshi MSNBC anchor and economics correspondent high alley Hey German and we should keep in mind that so far China and the U. S. have not signed phase one trade deal yet so how significant is this news today that they're committed to beginning to remove tariffs if they do yeah that's I initially what is eight they're committed to phase one beginning to regret terrace I think it's an evolution I think it shows that there's a softening on both sides it is a significant sign of progress you're seeing that reflected in the stock market today however there's no actual news there's no time line we don't really know what phase one looks like we don't know how much of a reduction in tariffs it's going to be so I think the sign here is that everybody's a little tired of this thing we're probably going to stop the bleeding mean time as this is all going on there seem to be these other moves by both the US and China that may or may not have something to do with the trade war and for instance today China sent nine Sentinel traffickers that's that very deadly opioid to prison in the sentencing that was very unusually publicize is that related to the trade war and what other actions like that are taking place yeah so there's a few things for a president trump has made vaginal from China a point of contention in the broader trade talks between Washington and Beijing so these are the first convictions to arrive from China joint investigation with America into smuggling of this pain killer that's been blamed for thousands of overdose deaths in the United States so that's a big deal Chinese state media late yesterday reported the Chinese customs are considering removing a ban on US poultry that was in place long before the trade war it was actually response to bird flew back in two thousand and fifteen so and and and president trump said the Chinese agreed to by about fifty billion dollars of American farm goods we haven't got that confirmed from Beijing but it does seem like everybody's trying to do things to get back to the table lower the rhetoric hi this is hurting China's economy this trade war it is definitely hurting America's economy in there some fear that given that some of the world is on the brink of recession we don't want this to be the thing that keeps the globe into into a recession okay so it's interesting that you said given that some of the world is on the brink of recession and as we speak the stock market is near yes hi interestingly right now so is that about China or other things look the world is slowing a little bit but in the United States we have this problem in the interest rates are so low that if you have excess capital which wealthy people in institutions have there's no where else for it to go but the stock market so that's not to say that the stock market is artificially propped up because earnings are strong and most economic indicators in the United States are strong but the stock market is the place to put your money so we've got a couple things going on we probably have a working worsening economy but investors in the stock market have bet that they can take their money out of the market at some later point when it shows that a recession might be coming but for now things are good you know there's a word for that I've never heard it after years of covering Wall Street it's called the teen a market there is no alternative that's right he that's the that's again it's and that's what a lot of people say when I get if I'm not the stock market I'm gonna put my money to bank rate at percent they're.
