"Us. Give that money to services like this and other stuff and other stuff feeding cats exactly important. We also have social media. Guido twitter podcasts facebook on rocker. We are individually on instagram. That's true. I forget that i have instagram for about two months. Okay then i post something. Then i forget. I have it again. That's your relationships. Instagram is a lot like my facebook. Okay interesting and remember. Hello my name. Is dave soukous. I'm a pediatric allergist. And i work at nationwide children's hospital and the ohio state university college of medicine in columbus ohio. I'm going to speak with you about non validated food allergy testing when somebody has a food allergy their body forms an i g e allergy response. Iga is the allergy antibody and when this is formed and to the allergy cells in the body when that person encounters their food allergy typically by eating it binds to the ge in. Unlock those allergy cells which release chemicals mostly histamine. That costs are classic for a food. Allergy reaction food allergy reactions. Do not come and go over time if somebody is allergic to a food every time they ingest that food no matter what form such as if they're allergic to cow's milk they cannot consume cheese or ice cream or yogurt winning encounter the food they haven't allergic reaction typically within a few minutes rarely long one to two hours later so when somebody has a clinical history. That's concerning for a food allergy. We can perform iga testing. There are two different ways that we can detect. I g towards food one is in the office setting and it's three skin prick or scratch test. Where a drop of liquid allergens placed on the skin typically on the back of the forearm and then the skin gently scratched so that allergen is introduced to this allergy cells and the top layer of the skin within about ten or fifteen minutes. They were released histamine causing a localized hive. You get a bump with renison itching. The size of that bump tells us the likelihood that that person has an allergy. You can also do food. Specific blood testing where you can measure levels of g towards any food in the blood and the scale comes from basically zero to one hundred the higher. The level indicates the more likely that food allergies present. Neither skin prick nor blood tests can determine the severity of a reaction. It can only be used to interpret the clinical history and determine if a food allergies present however there are many different types of unvaccinated aided and unproven food allergy tests that are being marketed. These tests often lack any plausible biochemical mechanism and have no evidence especially through the standard peer review trials that demonstrated that they can one actually detect or determine if somebody has a food allergy or to anything such as a false positive rate or false negative rate these types of tests vary from applied kinesiology or muscle testing where somebody is told to hold a vial of something and their muscle strength tested both before holding it and then after holding it if their strength is subjectively determined to be different than they are diagnosed as having a food allergy. There are people that will offer hair analysis or urine analysis Things that traditionally can be used to measure things such as metal toxicities but have no business determining whether somebody has a food allergy. There are other tests that are given fancy names where they take. Somebody's blood and they mix it with an allergy and look at it under a microscope and if any changes are detected in their diagnosis having a food allergy. And then lastly there's tests such as i g testing which is offered but i g g testing is a memory antibody and merely determines whether somebody has been exposed to food. Not whether they have an allergy so long story short. It's really important understand if somebody's concerned about having a food allergy one. What are the symptoms that occur whenever that food is eaten if somebody's eating a food without any problems on the food. They don't have a food allergy. You can't fool the immune system number two if there is concern for a food allergy. There's really important to talk with one's personal physician or have a referral to an allergist especially a board certified allergist who can determine through proper validated testing. Whether or not they have a food allergy and three it's really important that people not self diagnose or turn to the internet or have mail order testing or alternative providers do invalidated testing and diagnosing food allergy. Because unfortunately many people are over diagnosed misdiagnosis having a food allergy which leads to unnecessary avoidance changes in their diet and.

And if you have a home That has this issue. Um do you have any physical side effects? Because I know with mold. Some people are very susceptible to getting sick from just very little bit of mold. Other people takes a little bit more. Do you have any physical issues? When you're home gets, you know, filled with, you know Mickelson, Vo ces. Excellent question, Gary. You do Here's the concern is that those physical conditions look a lot like the common dictate the conditions of the common cold, Right, um stuffy, nose, sore throat. Difficulty brief, slight difficulty breathing. So the things that present in to a human as a common cold or the quote unquote Cipel's in the winter, those of the same things that that yours this your term you use is correct. Correct sick Holm syndrome that those same symptoms are what presented somebody so in the fall when we all start to recognize that we were getting quote unquote sick right, and we think it's because the change the weather and things like that would In fact, whether has nothing to do the cold weather. There's a correlation, but the cold would've caused that stuff. What happens is we're sealing up our home even more now, by not opening windows and doors as much and we're getting the same symptoms. What people can recognize is is if they just keep track of and say, keep track. But if they if they watch those symptoms more often than not, when somebody leaves their home within 15 to 20 minutes that could be driving to work or golden School. Whatever suddenly start to feel better, and they feel like they're just kind of rattling their cages. They're getting up morning stuff out of their head. In fact, they left the environment that was making them sick. Their home in the news, or it just seems like you know, I have a grandson. He's got asthma. I have friends and somebody in our house. They have allergies. Is that all related to this Also? Just tight homes and, you know not good. Generally. Yes, it is. It really is because again, we're living in this soup, right? Um, With few exceptions, there are people that have allergies, too. Environmental allergies to stuff outside certain kind of trees and certainly an appalling and things like that, right, But there is a very, very large number of people that are They're suffering from allergies that could be controlled by simply ventilating and exhausting all that stuff outside and letting it go on display to the outside world belong, But yeah, there's a lot of people and they don't and they just don't. They don't realize that which is one of my goals is to help educate these people understand that that their home is making them sick. But I wanted to. I want to tread on that line and not say that your home is that home. That's not what I'm saying. Almost making you sick. Or the what's in your home. If we could help you by eliminating certain things that you're doing, or using, as far as chemicals and things like that, and at the same time, ventilating this space and creating a helping her environment. Then, Ah, lot of times and their studies that show that the incidences of allergy reactions inside of home go way down when you eliminate certain things that you're using as far as BOC Chemicals. On coronary arteries that many stuff that you and I were talking about the other day when people hear that story, but meanwhile, back at covert 19 There are a lot of news media folks who are trying to scare everybody is usual can into being worried about what's gonna happen. I'm gonna have an allergic reaction. There aren't many of you. I mean, Let's get real with the numbers here. Can you explain? Well, there have been some allergic reactions. But what we're learning is the incidents is about one in 100,000 people vaccinated have a serious allergic reaction, an awful axis and most the majority of these people have had a history in the past. Of having an awful axis and one and 100,000 people vaccinated is more than the flu vaccine rate. But it's not Maura than most vaccines, so that is an acceptable rate. It's not a surprising rate and a rate that small is what one is expected for. So if you do get vaccinated, and I hope you everybody does. Unless you have had a history in the past of an awful axis. Everybody wait at least 15 minutes afterwards. Here you're watched. And if you have any history of significant allergy reaction in the past, he watched for a half hour after you vaccinated. All right, And that was your experience. When you had your shot, you stayed in the chair of 15 20 minutes. I was watched. So my first vaccine for 15 minutes and in two days I'll be getting my second vaccine. There you go. That's how it works. Pretty simple, Straightforward stuff is the US blind to contagious new viruses. We'll find out what the science is behind that. Ask Dr Ken's more questions about covert.

So this has been one that you kind of watched day by day as the developments are happening around the world and here in the United States. Well, yes s o. The FDA is what they call the vaccine and related biological products Advisory Committee. You know, that's a bit of a mouthful, but they're the ones that take a good deep. Look at all the data for vaccines, and yesterday they voted. Of to Ah to basically give the thumbs up that the full FDA should should provide what's known as an emergency use authorization for fighters vaccine. On and I believe the vote was 16 or 17. Yes, followed by four nose and one abstention that Z not a bad vote of considering the circumstances and then the uniqueness of the development of this vaccine and the apparent need for it. What does a new emergency mean? Who gets who gets a vaccine under an emergency rules? So the emergency rules, though, don't really dictate who gets it, but it has to do with approving the vaccine for use. Without having, um as much data as they would like for a a blanket approval, they would need a few months worth few months more worth of data now by granting the emergency use authorization. They will therefore put the vaccine into use, and they will get that data and the FDA can, uh, can reevaluate this in a couple of months to see if they want to grant the full on A more permanent approval. Um, but but the easy way eyes if they abbreviated would with the way it works is that they say that this they believe that a vaccine product It works well enough on it's safe enough on we have a pressing need for it. So we're going to therefore authorize it. And will, you know we'll see how how Well it works. There's a little bit of a hiccup along the way with the people having the allergies or reactions or side effects. But the numbers were pretty small, right. I believe there were two people in the UK after the UK started inoculating people that showed signs of an allergic reaction. Now these two people, so I'm told We're, um people who, first of all a they were healthcare workers. Second of all, they knew this about themselves that they get allergy reactions to injections. On three. They had Epping pens with them on they knew to recognize their own symptoms and and take care of themselves before the anything bad would happen. However, as a result, the UK did say that anyone who is in the same situation should not get vaccinated. The FDA is taking that into account for sure they will probably issue some guidance. As part of the E way about about people who suffer from allergies like that, that if if they do that they should, either it could be anything like I don't take it or take it only in the clinical setting that's taken that someone can assist you if you have a reaction, a supposed to getting it at a retail pharmacy, where they may not be set up. Read where Russian health officials were saying no alcohol for two months after getting the covert 19 vaccine. I don't know if they're trying to curb demand or what, That's what they were pointed out that if you want this thing to work, right, you know you have to. You have to take care of yourself and you don't want to rush in vaccine is different than the find Your vaccine. There are a number of different vaccines that will have different conditions for everything. The fighter vaccine is not gonna have the rules. I don't believe I haven't heard that it would have some kind of Rule like that, that you can't have any alcohol s O. That makes us question. What What's what makes up the Russian vaccine If they have such a stringent, um, concern like that, and especially in Russia, which is you know, you wanna be telling Russians not to drink for two months that Z In the wintertime, Ugo Theo s. So what? Wonder that of love by the way, but wasn't it That wasn't a slam? No, no, no. Nothing all that it all the the What do you see the timeline here. Then what happens next? So the for Lefty a now needs to be the ones who grant the the emergency use authorizations that that could actually happen today when it does happen, Uh, the U. S government is ready to start inoculating people. They have some they have Ah, number of doses. Of this vaccine already staged around the country and every state on they have more coming off the assembly line, So it's really a matter of probably a couple of days. There have been some varying numbers. From the operation Warp speed folks saying that we could we could start inoculating people within 48 hours of approval or 96 hours of an approval. Esso, Look, you're looking at really 2 to 4 days, Probably So next week, Frontline workers will probably getting the first vaccination. All right, Well, we got it. We got it. We got to get moving in that direction. So the sooner the better I know the hospitals are full. And the death toll is continues to rise and assumes we can get going on at the better. Evan, we appreciate you coming on the show this morning. You gotta take care. All right. You two have been brought on Fox news correspondent and W Jared contributor. We're gonna take a quick break care of the problem. You Smith show.

"3218 confirmed new cases is not current. Once again, officials say that dramatic single day spike was because of 1500 backlogged cases being added countdown to the covert vaccine. The FDA meeting tomorrow granting emergency use authorization to the fines or vaccine. It's 95% effective Assistant state health officer Dr Karen Landers on what's its stake. The most important aspect of this is to Not only review the science but also to build public confidence that the scientific process is being followed. And once the FDA grants authorization, we should be administering the vaccine in a couple of days. I'm Leah Brandon. And this is Alabama's morning news Now back to your host. Here's J T. All right, Leah. Thank you very much. It is 7 34. Alabama's Morning news. Interesting discussion is run Facebook live this morning and you come on over and jump on my page Here. We do it every morning from seven till eight. Sometimes a little bit longer. We're talking about the vaccines. And the thoughts of people taking the vaccine versus I'm gonna wait for second round just kind of watch and see what's going on here. As we've heard the UK started yesterday. Well with distribution, and ah, woman in her nineties was the very first one. She got the vaccine didn't even realize that they had given it to her. They had to tell her because she didn't feel the needle which was good. And the place erupted in applause. Esso it is off and running with a vaccine in the UK, but with that came a warning as well, and that warning is that it's a Fizer vaccine that they're doing there. Um That there's a bit of an allergy issue with some people that have a propensity towards allergies. Now we're not talking about an eclectic shock or anything like that. But if you have Ah, history of lots of allergies in your world certainly discussed that more. With your doctor before you get going Now, this is first right out of the gate. So I understand. You know, some people are cautious about taking the vaccine, even though they've gone through the trials on the efficacy as far as how well they work, the side effects, the symptoms of allergy reaction and things like that. You know, all of that was looked at in the trials, but yesterday is the distribution to the vaccine, you know, was administered. There were a couple of people a few people. That did respond with an allergic reaction, which is pretty common. I think when you talk about mass distribution of the vaccine, some people do have a bit of a reaction to it. So that's just a word of caution. It's not anything near. Oh, my God. The Fizer vaccine is not working. But with that said, and we're gonna open up the phones. 88 8915158889105105. Do you think employers should be allowed to require employees? To take the vaccine before they come back to work. A Szot blanket statement. I would say no to that. I don't think the government Should force everybody to take the vaccine. I think there's got to be exceptions to this. I don't think the government should force anybody. To stick a needle in their arm and put anything foreign into their bodies. If they don't want to. Um, you know, it's against people's religious beliefs. It's against, you know, just The lifestyles of people that don't do bad scenes. They're adamant about it because they don't want those foreign entities in their body. Whether it's you know, warranted or validated fear or concern over what could happen. You know, it's really up to us to make that decision personally. Will be first in line to take the vaccine. I will say the doctors that I've been talking to At the U. A B study that I went through and also my own personal doctor, Dr. Jason Smith, Uh and Birmingham Internal Medicine had my annual physical yesterday. Both of those doctors that I've been talking to said Absolutely. They take the vaccine can't wait till it's available. Frontline workers are going to get it first and nine out of 10 that I've talked to said Yes. Give me the vaccine, so I'm okay with it. I know some people aren't on. We'll wait the second go around. You know, I think that ought to be your choice. But do you think That the bosses should be allowed to make you take that vaccine before you're allowed to come into work. I mean, it happens in schools, right? Kids have to get certain vaccines and be up to date. Where they can't come to school. And some parents opt out of that, then. Sorry, I'm not bringing a kid to school. If I'm gonna be forced to take the vaccine, I'll home school That does happen. That does go on. So your thoughts 88891515 in the vaccine. Would you take it? Do you think people should be forced by employers or the government? Your thoughts coming up here in just about 10 minutes on the way Next could be talking with George C, who was a political analyst and what's going on with the battle for the election as Trump continues his legal fight, but another hurdle for the president yesterday, the update three minutes Alabama's morning news today. "Register for the class and promise you you'll have an experience. Meaning that you're gonna walk away with information that you didn't have before and that you're gonna ply personally. But the unfortunate part of it. It is is that it's not just a stuffed up nose is not just feeling tired is everything from all kinds of physical stresses and behavior patterns to abnormally reactions on the mental plane from how the brain functions and the body's reaction neurologically increase in pain, thresholds, and so forth. If you've tried everything, and you don't understand why things haven't gone away. This might be really learn about your body because when we look at conditions we look at the multi dimensional. We try to put it together in a format where you know, we answer the question. Why is that why things are really kicking up? Why you can't get rid of something if you know, the answer if you know, the why then you can fix virtually anything that comes down the pike. Dr paul. Let's talk a little bit about, you know, things what are the steps that people can do in their house. You know in their environment just on a day-to-day basis and not to take away from your presentation this this Wednesday evening because I know you're gonna get into a lot of that. But what can they do to help themselves? I mean, the simple things in. Obviously, you know, you get good air filter. You get something that's gonna clean and kind of get the the particles in the air this time of year. Kind of filters things like that. Vacuuming just getting those those basic particles up. Try to stay away from synthetic clothing things like that it tends to attract more I can't get into the shirts or at the office because it's all staticky, and I could feel and but those kind of things is kind of synthetic fibers. They tend to attract the particle stages like the some of the filters the that or the washable filters. I mean, that's all based on static electricity and attracting those things so just getting as much out of the air out of the year environments possibles always a good thing. There's there's an old fashioned remedy to keep the the membranes open. It's called the Netti pot. Yeah. Sure. Flushing? The get I like the Nellie med better myself. I did it on Friday matter of fact, that you have to remember those make sure that using filtered water, and here's the reason why does clean. That's right. Those of you who use Netti pot. If you're using it just off tap water. That's unfiltered, you could exposure Salvator mayb problem that could affect your brain and deadly. You wanna you want to use very very clean water. You know, and be careful with what you're using that. But yet you're getting the canals the sinuses flushing them out in a kind of resetting that works fantastic. You know, they're hepatitis that you can attach to even your vacuum cleaner. And we have to vacuum. We have to clean over the hevea filters are important, and you can you can put them on any kind of air filtration system, or in a lot of the good ones out there. That are rated quite high from the National Institute for occupational health safety one and ninety five percent rating or better on these things. He's filtering mechanisms panoply any mass that you wear if you haven't changed your householders. Now's a good time to go in there and change those guys out. I mean, there's there's all sorts of things you can do environmentally to to help. You know? There's you want to stay away from anything that has Greco phosphate. Element to it. And that's your genetically modified food. It's actually been shown to make things far worse and trigger. These these allergy reactions vitamin d levels. You've got to get enough vitamin d remember that eighty percent of you in this environment of vitamin d insufficient minimally and your target range is about in scales. About seventy five to eighty that would be perfect. And so many of you are down around eighteen to twenty eight thirty five way way way too low. You gotta get that up. My guest in studio, Dr Leonard Pau, we're talking about allergy reactions he's really gonna pour it out for you on this Wednesday evening at seven pm the.

"It's it's a. There are ways to do it. We do a very good job on finding out. But really looking at the minimum balance is probably your best way to to figure out. What's going on? The mineral imbalance that the minerals in one of the big things. I mean cancer is really amazing because it has that alkaline ph of the cells with an acidic body around there, then it actually makes an electromagnetic field around there that will keep certain minerals, which will keep minerals out. So the cellular membrane of the cancer cells are impermeable to to minerals because if you can't get the minerals into the cells, and you get enough of them than cancer cells explode. Wow. And there are certain minerals that are very good for crossing the the memory. Two of the best ones are cesium and video. Mazing matter of fact, it there is the federal government is doing so much research on it. It's almost impossible to be able to buy them because the government's buying them up because they're finding a matter of fact, they're actually starting to add that to some of the chemotherapies interesting because here we we do try to keep getting in here. But it's very difficult. So we try to make sure that we can try to get that for those special patients an extremely effective. But there are other ways that we can approach that there is a whole line of calcium morte magnesium orientate, the orientates was developed by Dr Hans Nipper who had in Austria, one of the most prestigious cancer clocks in the world where people would come from all over and get excellent. Excellent results. Also, there are Arjun aspartame. It's and you can put into different types of combinations on the two depending on each patient to try to get that across the cell membrane. If you can that does explode, the cancer cells. But again, it's a structure function concept on that. If you know what I mean? Right. And it's an excellent way to get things fixed. One of the. Things. I always liked to put in there as distilled water. We call that cancer water. If you drink distilled water you chances of getting cancer increase precipitously, I was reviewing a detox program that the doctors promoting and that's the kind of water he wanted to train can yes, yes. Yes. It's very scary. There's a there's a lot of people who advocate that. And it's got a ph redux potential electromagnetic charge of cancer in. It's just but it in your iron put it in your hands. Always good for. So how is Texas city in the body measured? Toxicity on the in the body is we look at a lot of different ways to to measure that blood test. And is a lot the deliver livers just absolutely critical the kidney function is absolutely critical. How well the the lungs are working, you know, to be able to get through that also trying to measure, the the infection level people have the bowels doing diagnostics on the bows. Because bows is a big place where tuck city develops you have a toxic infection Laden. Boughs you're going to be you know, you have to determine constipation seriously. Consultation. Seriously. Also, measuring your food allergy reactions getting we have a specialized tests to measure the level long those lines. How toxic are your foods? How much are you reacting to that that plays a huge role along those lines her analysis? We're looking for heavy metal toxicity. So it's a very involved type of process to really be able to run through that from a to z. So that you can get a good measurement of how toxic the individual is. And all those play a role in thorough diagnostics. I always say, please, please, please. Let me do as much as I possibly can. Because the more. I know the better better results. Okay. When we come back. Let's talk about the steps we should take. If. If we or someone we love has cancer. Never miss an episode.

Pat, parents it's easier to pick up and throw versus the other balls slimy. Steve call a sleepy it's difficult to store them. So that's something interest in feedback that I got does green instance, stain ably made products, how does it benefit or pets? So they are bad good for the environment because they have made all of the recycled materials, so there's no ways like the toys from plenty of dog. They were made out of the fire. Enjoy fact that toys and the toys from Sipe adults they were made out of recycled bicycle to which a lot of them pretty dogs. It was through the process they have to Dr the materials to be nontoxic. So is safer for them. When they have in their mouths like all the time. Her.
