"Every year in the NFL. It's a new team as far as goals. Go we have one putting the fucker in mm singer. Welcome to the buccaneers observer. PODCASTS Drought Phillips. I'm Ali Bay is February. Third Twenty twenty the day after the Super Bowl since the start of the twenty twenty five on the year football is now done and over with rep two thousand nine hundred with a bow. Put it in a drawer in hibernate until September been what is it said. Last night I was like thirty weeks or something it crazy amount of weeks before football starts again. This is the worst time of the year. I'd watch we got started getting used to the draft so we could be excited when now the XFL is coming out so maybe we should pick that up. I can't even remember when it starts. I know it's February. Mike Varney started all right so I would think about the game super bowl. Forty niners at the chiefs. I don't remember much of the game redrawn now. I don't know I just it. It just didn't stick out to me. I had some notes but they weren't that expensive. I do feel like the game. Had A very static field to it like all. The ads were very nostalgic objects. They had the World War Two veterans. Come out at the beginning and you know it's the NFL's hundred Super Bowl hundred super bowl hundred. You're you're not one hundred super bowl so I did feel like the theme of the whole thing was just nostalgia which true all the commercials were like flashbacks to the eighties. The there was a lot of nineties. Pop culture references. Yeah the commercial with Bryan Cranston as in the shining it it was like a mountain dew. Commercial alone the game was a little surprised that the score wasn't higher. I was surprised that San Francisco held Kansas City to under twenty points for the vast majority of the game. I cannot believe that they let Kansas City. Come back like that and of course we gotta eat some Crow About Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl your elite. That's the only requirement ally manning got two super bowls delete. So you put Patrick Mahomes in that category. I was thinking talking about what. IRKS me about him why I guess it worked with him. I think it's more of I don't like change. And it really is the shuffling of the new guard which again the homeless shelter thing. I mean it's the end of an era for football. I mean you didn't have any of the elite older quarterbacks in the superbowl all nos matter of fact drew brees was only one that made it to the championship game right so I think I think it's not. I think that's what kind of bothers me about Patrick. Mom and also that he's already been heralded by the media as the next Michael Jordan. which I just think it's ridiculous? Troy Aikman said that in a broadcast one night and I was thinking you are an idiot idiot you know yeah you gotta you gotTa say well but there is something there yeah. We really thought that he was going to be figured figured out and teams were going to be able to stop them. Well rarely even on Youtube has one of our listeners. Said Pat Mahomes is more of a passing quarterback back so he corrected us. They're pretty smart mercer and said he's one of the smartest players he's a little like Russell Wilson L. somewhere. He's pather but well run when he needs to. I think he uses the running war selectively. which is how I prefer right? Yes this is a this is a new era and you know we had two teams in Super Bowl. That had been in a long time. And it's nice to see Andy. Reid finally win one. Yeah I do like him. I like Gandhi. I did think forty niners are going to win too. I bet on I was really disappointed in how they played out the last few minutes couch any. He blew the double digit lead with Elena Buddha offense coordinator there right Yep and win the forty niners got the ball back. I think there was a few minutes left in the fourth quarter. They were up by three. And they dot I I had said You I said well. They're just going to run the clock out. Now as you know the canes city get to ball back with few minutes but you know for now is just gonNa run the clock out. And I'll be darned aren't if they didn't throw the Damn Ball an incomplete pass on second down just ruined it. I was like Oh they just lost the game. That was it so it was a it was a good let game. It wasn't very entertaining like Like you like to see but it wasn't bad it wasn't love Pittsburgh Arizona cardinals game that was one of the best superbowls ever orpheus me. As far as entertainment values concern wasn't a blow out one way or the other the used to the Super Bowl was always a blow out. You know it wasn't until probably two thousand thousands win. The super bowl started becoming really good competitive games. Used to men the Super Bowl sock Diplo is a championship games over the good Games. So it's good to see that you know we've we've got good games that the super bowl but this one was kind of snooze fest thought one thing that drove me crazy. It's driving me crazy for a while. We talked about it here. podcast lot is the officiating. Now the -ficiating this wasn't bad but it wasn't consistent with how they officiate during the regular season. That drives me crazy. I mean his normally like that. But this always just kinda ridiculous. I kinda four times four times where the quarterback got hit in the helmet while he was throwing after he had thrown the pass and it was never fly four four times. They got the Jameis Winston treatment. Maybe it's the young guys they figure they can tak- what is just not consistent. Because if you're going to do that regular season call flags gift fifteen yards opponent. You GotTa do it. But they're not consistent during the season they call it sometimes sometimes not other. That's the biggest problem with officiating. Consistency that that was a that was really the only issue. I had with the -ficiating last night. I think that there are more conservative in these big games. Many people are watching definitely definitely there was a couple of hit outbound where I was like that would have been a flag during regular zoom but a dawn. It's over with Kim city chiefs are champions. AFC got title Geena being a high now. We were just talking about that. The Patriots got it last year for about the year before. I don't remember guys breath. We need the buccaneers. Represent US Komo Bucks stub. Oh Books News. Okay not relay. Hey Joe Bucks. Fan is on a tear. They've gotten a bunch of comments from players about the James Winston situation. That's all they've been asked about as they did. Ask Ask Joe Staley what they thought about what he thought about. Donald Kong Soo and basically just daily look down like you had three heads and said yes you still gotta the same as he was in Detroit South Yeah. It's the people have been saying that that you know he just doesn't have like a used to. I've I've been saying to me I. I watched the guy. He's just a great football player. He's a great strategic good football player in a great technical football ballplayer. He barely masses up. And he's all you know. He's always imposition. He's doing the right stuff. I diverted player Veeraswamy. I agree with Joe Staley but the big nasty. The buccaneers Fan superfan got into the Ford Football Fan Hall of fame. Oh it did make an in. He he did those speaking a witch John Lynch did not make it into the pro football hall of fame. Not only did he not make them in the Hall Hall of fame but he lost the Super Bowl so rough weekend for John Lynch. Yeah John Lynch is not used to having these types of losses. I don't think he's a guy. He's one super balls walls with team different teams and I fully expected him to go with the forty niners. Win there to you. Is that success everywhere. He's gone but it is impressive. How quickly they turned that organization station around so I think that they'll be back? I've got some. NFC South News. Greg Olson was released by the panthers. The bill is a free agent air there. Yeah exactly all these old old guard players. And then Vic Beasley with the Falcons is going to be a free agent. And the the Falcons have announced that they're not going to try to resign him. Interesting must be something there. Stephen Gilmore got defensive player of the year. Sure he knows that he's he plays for the New England Patriots and matter of fact him an John's of both gut let me give them about twenty one votes Jones. Got Fourteen T.. J. Watt got ten Shaq Barrett got to God's ridiculous although redacted. It really really is a really is I'm I'm I'm just befuddled by. How have a most likely? It's the reporters me. I don't know that's a good question. Did you hear the argument that a tape. It's respect because it's small market team oriented stuff small fan base. That's what that's what that means when you hear people say small market team unit because they're small markets like Green Bay which is the smallest market in all professional sports. I think but they're not considered a small market team because they have a huge fan base l. across the nation across the world if we want to change our small small market status we need to get more fans. Let's do that start. Proselytizing ties in US is up to the fan base to do that if he asked me. An people are really attracted to up and coming teams now especially if they're considered underdogs for an up. Four former. Forty niners raiders star. Alex Smith is trying to make an NFL comeback. We had talked about him quite asked him is currently suspended indefinitely by the League for multiple off the field incidences everybody's been trained in a J. Glazer's unbeatable. GM in West. Hollywood in his last game was for the raiders in November. Two Thousand Fifteen j Glazer's come out and said you know he's off to the drink in off drugs. He's really Boston's Bob. Would you expect a guy to say that but J. Glazer's really pushing hard frown on Smith to get back in the league. That crazy hasn't played since two thousand fifteen in five. Haven't years how old is he. Now you know. He's probably in his early thirties. That's a senior citizen for high. Now he could probably get a league minimum job No no I I. I liked him when he was in the League. But he just imploded little help with a from Cabernet but we won't go there the motherboard. NFC South News. "Welcome to the buccaneers observer. PODCASTS Ralph L. Phillips I'm Ali Bay November nineteenth two thousand nineteen. We got the state's film review. Today you've done all in one day. Yeah we got the video down yet. He should be done by the time. You're listening to this podcast or this afternoon or whatever Wednesday evening afternoon afternoon afternoons likely. Yeah so what did you think when you see those very interesting. I enjoyed watching it really because to me I would have found the opposite. I don't WanNa Watch it again at all. I've watched the game. I think about three times already but then watch the all twenty two. So it's it's definitely a different. Feel all twenty two. What were some of the things we said is the reaction from the game? It was just an ugly game. Everyone I played on the defensive line wasn't really getting any push. The running backs were non-existent towards in. We had said that coaching we got outcoached. I would put that at the top of the list. Now after watching all twenty two we definitely got outcoached. What makes you say that they came in with with an interesting game plan? They changed a lot of their looks up especially on the defensive line. They did a lot of unique stuff to confuse us and to ah played to our weakness our weakness in our blocking spite what everybody says. It's not our offensive line in our office of line. Didn't play bad miss game Capela gave up three or four. He got beat three or four times. Donovan Smith got beat two or three times and there was stuff here but other than that was it. I mean they played well. I thought and to put that in perspective. How many snaps do they play like sixty fifty so two or three bad plays in sixty? That's not too bad. Yeah I mean even the best offensive Lineman is going to have two or three band. Plays a game you know really all does depend on what point in the game it is. How crucial social it is? Make the mistake context matters but it our biggest issue with blocking is are running backs what we do is we leave. You are running back in for pass protection quite a bit. And then they'll shoot out if not if there's if they're not needed protection shootout and bid check down option make Winston throw to them if they have to well the saints took advantage of that. And what they would do is they would have their guys Lined up at the line. A bunch of them say seven guys lined up at the line and they would have the two linebackers up there. They'd have three down linemen and then they would have linebacker quarterback or somebody who is strong safety generally up on the line too so they wouldn't know where the pressure is coming from home. What they would do is when the ball was snapped? The two linebackers would act like they were going back into coverage in then one one of them would turn around they. It was really interesting. I started in the video. They would actually jump. The linebackers buffets in Atlanta scrimmage than the ball was snapped. They would jump and turn around like they're facing the sidelines just long enough. So the running back with think that they're not gonNA blitz and then one of them would turn around and shoot up the gap. They did this so damn much. Appointed out three or four times just got tired of pointed out in the video and they were they. Were targeting our running running backs in pass protection. Not only that they had the number twenty two and number twenty one. These are the two main guys. Twenty two is a rookie chauncey Gardiner Johnson. He played strong safety. Guys Bee's man he would come flying in an usually from the left or right side. He'd be offscreen to to start the play. The ball would be snapped. You'd see him come flying in and he blew up those running back so you know what I mean. He would. He'd come at full speed. Hit Them Square on he not Dr. Rei All the way back into Winston one time. He was a handful but they would Sometimes what they would do they would have that strong safety blitz a Russian and they would have have a quarterback normally a twenty one patrick Robinson they would both come in from the left and the right outside the tackles. You'd have three down linemen that would push forward the two linebackers would fall back in the coverage but those two guys would come zooming around the edges making the run back after the side. Ehud pick up which wanted to pick up the. They're not great at blocking one players. What they do is to play well they have them decide which one to back back in a lifetime ban a lot of times what would happen? Is that the run back with decided to block the guy coming in from the left well. The right tackle doesn't know that Dan you know so the running back with run over to the other side. The blocked at the right tackle thinking two running backs behind the hill. So he doesn't block that quarterback zipper because he figures the running backs got him running back that was lined up behind him. It I mean they really confused the hell out of our running bag. That was their main goal of defensely. That was totally coaching. And I was really impressed. The day identified are running back for week link and they targeted are running backs. This whole game I know I hate to admit it but trump's damn good coachman when but it wasn't just on defense and offense to and we all know that drew brees likes Dink Dunk. No and that's frankly our weakness on defense yes us and I'm going to say this and people are going to get mad at me. Are Secondary played. Well the biggest week is lake is the biggest weakest link. I've talked about all year long Devon white in coverage he gave up over one hundred yards in passing. Yeah that I. I don't know if you remember that. Michael Thomas Forty one yard no catch and run that was Devon White. who was supposed to be covering him which they were working D- Michael Thomas in Ted gain around to get them lined up with with Devon white a lot All that Chimera yardage he got that was Devon White Devon White was supposed to be covering Kamar and I mean doesn't like Bates decent place he had one good tackle in. He's trying I think he had his career high that game as far as ten. Now I think I was thirteen. That uh-huh because they were throwing. It was his guys that were catching the ball and even have to tackle. He didn't tackle Tommaso on at forty one. yarder Chimera caught a first down thirteen thirteen twenty four in the first quarter that was Devon White Guy. That was his responsibility Told you the Michael Thomas Forty One yarder will not shortly thereafter. He gave up a fifteen yarder to Michael Thomas again. Yeah they were doing. They were picking on him. Yes I think they see that the guy's not the best in coverage so they were designing plays plays to match up with then y Mike Evans was saying that they did the same thing to him that they did the first game the other really noticed. There's something bracket overtop remote. Most teams will try to bracket they play cover. Two in they'd Fudge one guy over towards wherever Evans's at but you know it wasn't the silly double coverage Winston Winston didn't look all that great. He didn't look horrible. I mean he did throw fifty times by the end you could tell he was just hurt and in and tired and all that good stuff but he was still out there like a trooper he had a couple of times especially in the second half coming right out in the third quarter where he just got happy happy for no reason I mean there was nobody within five yards of him and he just started scrambling getting off hectic and he he he he started doing it. But the the New Orleans offense offense in the first half ever just like this up with those Dakin Dunkin thinking docket in their whole thing is to get it in their hands playmakers and then let them get yards after. Catch you and they were just doing it for us. It gave our defensive line had no opportunity to get derbies and towards the end of the game. They looked like they were just kind of like. Oh well you know screw it. You know we're not even gonNA try really I mean I'm not saying they weren't try but it just our defensive line which is one of our strength on defense it is our strength. Ain't on defense. Yeah it looked like they targeted Edwards and Devon White Offense There's a couple of plays out showed on the video where you could definitely tell tell they. Were targeting these guys drew brees would lock in whoever was on one of those two and he wouldn't even turn his head he would just follow him whole time. And then throw doc. Why didn't they have Jim? L. D. N.. Are they wanted Edwards to try out there to be said that they wanted to put them on and they just never got the chance you know they were looking for certain packages and stuff so winston toward the second. Half they are offense. We changed up our office so we started doing the Lincoln and Duncan and the winters is not that good at it is just not quick enough. He he's you know he's the kind of guy he likes to drop back. You know seven steps steps and then you just chunk it downfield and to be fair. That's cutters offense. Is these long developing route. But he's yes and I will say that about about our offense. We did not have enough stuff underneath for Winston the check down to it was it was actually driving me crazy. We would have a say a second back in in six or eight or something like that. We'd have all received going out you know to the sticks and there'd be nobody underneath for Winstons check down to generally because they'd be blitzen running back would have to stay in and block and there'd be nobody for Winston check down to and and to me that was bad offense a planning but they started in the second half off. They started trying to do. The Ding Dong Drew Winston is just not primed for it. I mean drew brees have been doing this for nineteen years drew. Brees look at one-two-three throw you know without even thinking and they're a well oiled machine. They've been consistent. They've had a lot of the same personnel for years. They worked very well together. Mistake was they're kind of like Seattle. They just didn't make that many mistakes. They made more mistakes and Seattle dead Actually the Chris Godwin touchdown was a mistake or secondary one other. You guys got confused about who he was covering but you know what yeah. Winston started doing the checking down stuff and he's just he's just not used to it and he looked very uncomfortable on on it and he would he would hesitate. which is you can't do that with the that type of offense Lena? Quick decision maker. No no not at all but yeah the first play of the third quarter order Winston. He just he scrambled for absolutely no reason and Perryman. I'm pretty sure it was paramount. I couldn't read the numbers. Those those Colorado's uniforms are absolutely impossible. Aswa read those numbers on all twenty two but paramount was wide open deep. I was so upset about that when I mean he was wide. Open the safety sawing like right towards the end of the play in the safety was a good twenty yards away from me and you saw the safety kind of freak out and start running over there with Perriman was forty yards down the field. There was nobody around. You was there a lot of that. Receivers that Jameson seen. I think maybe two or three times ever in crucial crucial situations nations though but yeah on that play Janus scrambled for no reason. There was nobody near Hill in he. He looked like a chicken with its head. Cut off back there in the pocket and to run around he actually got almost got sacked. But as you've gone the ground he threw the body should have been a tissue grounding because he threw the ball landed about five yards away away from him. I mean there was a receiver about ten yards away but I mean it was just looked at me like he just threw it in the dirt but it should have been intentional ground but he he shouldn't scrambling you get frustrated watching that massive and there was nobody near him at all and he just feel yes he goes eight. Another thing about those quick passes as receivers are not what used to be. Mike Average dropped the pass why he was wide open but he was only like ten yards from scrimmage..

"Every year in the NFL. It's a new team as far as goals. Go we have one putting the fucker ring awesome. Well could do the bucket. Here is observing podcast. This Ralph Phillips. I'm Ali Bay Fourteen. Two Thousand Nineteen Saints Preview Today. I'm very excited about this game but I want to go over some news I we're gonNA affect checks or follow ups. You don't don't do any. We talked about Vernon Hargreaves in the last episode. He has been picked up by the Texans played them December twenty first week sixteen. Yes which has been moved to Saturday right at one. PM Weird move. You've had it really interesting anyway. Hopefully my Gavin's I'll have a good day against him adulthood covers. But you said the Texans were like what twenty four th and the waiver liar with the bottom two teams passed on Vernon Hargreaves. Yes that draft class. I think there was five or six quarterbacks taken in the first round like they all suck really not well none of them. Were wait a minute. I don't I don't have to stand in front of me but I think think three level I think Jalen Ramsey was in the class. He's not with his original team anymore. Three of them aren't with their original teams anymore and the other two. I couldn't tell you what their names were so not a strong class of corner. Ba did say today that they cut him because basically there are too many times on film they saw. Ah Him not giving his all because he watches my youtube video. Let's say this is the game. Well there's two things you can control your effort low effort low effort low effort attempt thereby hargreaves and your attitude which that was one thing Joe Bucks Fan reported had the three hundred about attitude. They heard so we'll good. He can have that bad attitude on the taxes. That's right let's talk about a good attitude on the buccaneers Lante. David is the buccaneers nominee for the art Rooney Sportsmanship Award Ruler. He is what is that. It is well a panel L. A. Former players from the NFL legends community. Whatever the hell out is the capital capital? See how how do you get on the legends community. You'd be a former player. Obviously but agend hallway has a chance. Wait is there. Is there a panel of people that pick the NFL legends. I don't know his Atlanta pro ball in an NFL legends. Pick the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award Ward winner and then does he seem pick their own nominee. They nominate threat case. Listen focused a panel of former former players from the NFL legends community. Select eight finalist from the thirteen thousand nominees this their official name the NFL legends community. India has capitalized communities capital. We got that never heard some sounds like something out of a video game present the NFL legends community. Well then it could be like a senior home for NFL players right allegience community like assisted living. Shove yeah them onto a little in a fifty cent name the legends community but that would be the name of the assisted living. But then if you go there would kinda shatner chatter that whole illusion that you have because he go and there's all these decrepit old. NFL players people your age. I married someone one eight years. He's so funny. I was waiting to interrupt you that whole time. I was sitting there. NFL legislated villages communities. Talking about like right over my head so from the eight finalists there will be a consensus vote from each team whenever the hell that means. What does that mean from the organization's current players and that will decide the winner? The consensus vote from each team from organizations Kurt players okay so the legends picked the eight finals and I assume the legends are retired. Okay former players a consensus vote from each team. From the organization's nations current players decides the winner from the pool of eight flannel. So all the players now get vote from the eight finalists correct. Okay OUGHTA solid. The winner will be announced on the nationally televised. NFL Honors Show on Saturday February first the night before the Super Bowl overseas a twenty five thousand dollar donation from the NFL foundation to a charity of his choice. And he'll get a trophy so Levante David. Let's go for him to get that truck radio terrific. Let's talk about how deserve in London. Damon is of this award per Greg Allman. Boy Greg Levine. David have had no penalties since the start of twenty seventeen. That is absolutely crazy. He had how did not know this amazing state. Don't they ever talk about that. He only has six total in his. NFL career and he's played more than eight thousand total snaps six penalties in eight thousand snaps. How insane is on? Dirt is absolutely incredible. Wow while among the one hundred eighty nine. NFL NFL players with seventeen hundred or more defensive snaps since the start of the two thousand seventeen season. La Fontaine David and Eric. What what all are the only two players in the league without a penalty while so out of one hundred eighty nine players Zoa to that haven't had a penalty a why do I feel like I have to repeat everything I too slow to? That's crazy right. So that's about one percent in eight thousand thousand total snaps. You've only had six penalties good Lord that's that's like point zero six percents crazy and he had an any breakout breakout calculated for this. I can't believe this this data be something wrong there. I copy and pasted this week. It's not even like type something wrong unless Greg Den. Then you blame rang. Oh Point Zero seven five point zero seven five percent chance that David will get a penalty on any play of the game. We probably have a better chance of playing on offense. That's going to happen. He's GonNa run the ball in for a touchdown glorious give of him the ball all right fullback and block let him create a whole yet. Did you see him like launch Brubaker. Every play I don't think I I put in the video. Ms Shame Shame on you to make a video just of that all right. Let's talk about Saints Game. We'll start with the injury report. Carlton Davis returned to practice saying a limited capacity. He's had a hip injury now if you remember last time so we played them. He got his early in the game and he was supposed to cover Michael Thomas and it totally through our game plan off. I think we put bunting the other was a bunting remember. I can't remember but scooter by any. Yeah Michael Thomas Towards stuff demar. Dotson admits practice on Wednesday. But it wasn't injury related rest in the old guy. He returns well in football years. The what does he like thirty four and thirty five. He's such a big I to me. That's a lot for the body to keep up with. Allie Marquette hat was limited Wednesday but returned to practice Thursday in a full capacity. He has an ankle injury. Carl NASA with his groin injury. He's been limited all week. Anthony Nelson with a hamstring hasn't practiced all week and MJ's steuer with the knee has in practice all week. Looks like Curl Nasa Carlton Davis will be back this week heavily so that wraps it up for the buccaneers this Saints Lust. A couple of starner's last week Andress P broke his right left guard before we watched him against Leonardo and he looked like trash before he arm. Yeah when he broke his he could see them walking around with his arms just limp. I couldn't get a good view are getting broke but it was one of those really nasty breaks lakes. Ralph has this habit of on the broadcast when they slow mo all the injuries round Scudder rewind it twenty times recorded. It's it's so I have. I don't know quite a quite a few video clips of it pictures of guys getting hurt. I think the worst one was at San Francisco. Then we twisted his arm all up it was like he landed on his arm. Somebody else landing on. I can't remember. It was all twisted. A knee injury three popped out all the bone sticking out awful in any case interest p. He he broke his forearm so he has not practiced. Thank you post to have surgery on it so there will be a backup. They haven't announced to is taking his place but the Obama. He's he's back of there but he didn't take pizza place. During the game. The third string center clout in came in for him. So they haven't said it's Thursday they still haven't said he's taking his place so I don't know if that's good news or not marshon. Lattimore is the other notable. Aw Absence He's had a hamstring. He left the Atlanta game. Also and it hasn't practice all week. So that's good news from Kevin's cornerback. Patrick Robinson Zen has a hamstring. He was a full participant this week. Zach linebacker fullback has a knee injury. He's been limited all week linebacker. Mario Davis has hamstring and he's also been limited all week and then wide receiver. deontay Harris has a hamstring and. He has not practiced all week so there will be another injury. report out tomorrow and designate whether these guys are going to play or not. You're the left guard. That's Vitas sooners rookie. Yeah in the off season. We were talking about Nick Ethan. They brought in from Minnesota. That was their free agent guy nine under retired their center but then they draft this Eric McCoy in the second round this year. He's been starting so you know so we're GonNa Rookie and backup a backup going up against that. Should be fun. Yeah but you know. We didn't get any pressure on them. I'm the first time we met them remember. We played really low energy. That was asked. I guess we just played really low energy against though yeah they help us to zero sacks of course we were playing against any bridgewater not drew brees witch and we were also playing against the risks to the game where counted nine screw ups on the rest part. They are what costs us that game. Well this as being salads the first game more he got beep Hush your mouth. Rewrite history people can go back and listen to what we said. The saints are currently currently seven and two so I now we have to win this game if we are playoff hopes as small as they are. Now we'll be nil. Yeah I think even with everybody else in the division tanking right with pretty much everybody in the conference tank because what we got six games left. Ido Don't now math right now. Seven Games left can see halter. Eighty two tumbling anyhow. Yeah Y- Hey if we lose against the saints I think we're going to be mathematically. I'm not sure but David your clothes. I mean even for our wildcard spot for Walker so since we played the saints. That's funny I know people are sitting out there going. He seriously talking about playoff serious. All right so a sense we played the saints. They have played the jags. Do the bears the cardinals and Atlanta. And of course they've they've been every single one of them except Atlanta is an easy schedule or at the right like they're trying to give them the division would surprise them cheaters. Let's talk about this Alina game because kind of an anomaly. It was the first game where Dan Quayle had given up. Defensive Play Colleen duties and their defense just more grossing. Yeah they had six sacks against drew brees the saints aints did not score a touchdown which is the first time that's happened since drew brees has been a quarterback rule in New Orleans. Yes inside the dome. The first time a he has not scored a touchdown inside the down and I hit him in fantasy football. You really screwed. That's what you get. No I really hate having because I just can't root for the saints were Owen Three in the red zone and they had fifty two yards rushing total and Camara only had twenty four. You're now they did beat Atlanta in turnover battle. Matt Ryan threw an interception late in the game when they wrote the Ashton advantageous interesting minor. Less than a minute left in the fourth quarter. Give the saints the ball back and gave him the opportunity to go down the field. They didn't do anything with. Yeah but even if they would've won there would have had to get like three onside. Texas Atlanta beat them in the time of possession to thirty three minutes to to the saints. twenty-six yeah and the Saints had twelve penalties for ninety yards which is just crazy to Atlanta Elena seven penalties for forty eight yard. That was a very penalty heavy game. A drew brees tunnel cramp his shoulders bothering at at that point in the season. Well I mean he was..

"Still on a Tuesday continuing into Tuesday the for me started out at oracle park are rarely on a day where there was no game but there was a visit with Farrakhan's idea among those in attendance of course our buddy Kerry Crowley bay area news group Kerrey glad to have you on just in general how do you think Farrakhan did with all the questions. what do you do the actually did a nice job today I mean that was cut short a little bit there were only thirty minutes questions a pass it's gone on for forty five minutes to an hour beat that says maybe the giants don't expose them too much right now because there are so many questions a behind the scenes of the managers can beat the general managers what this team is gonna look like in twenty twenty so I have a feeling we're not gonna hear much from far on this letter yeah I wonder what you think the most pressing question is there there there's the manager but we if if I talk about the ball park or the line up I mean I don't think those things are not far behind what what do you think is is the big thing that you know the question that he really needs to answer this offseason to me it's it's always how can you upgrade the roster I I don't think it the manager will ultimately matter or the general manager role to play matter in your water your queue if the giant can't significantly improve this roster in the offseason they went from sixty four wins in two thousand seventeen to seventy three in two thousand eighteen seventy seven this evening but there's still a long ways away from contending and it's hard to imagine they're gonna be able to do the staying overnight but I think they need to make a lot more significant progress toward showing their fans that they're serious about contending in twenty twenty they didn't that you doubt nineteenth Dr I think with guys like far Han they they're really good at being in the room in answering your questions without showing any of their card so a lot of what we're doing in there is just kind of reading the room reading his vibe so when you when you looked out and looks into his eyes and you you you saw those answers about the roster what what did you think in terms of big name giants who might be traded what what popped in your mind. the first thing my first impression on him today was I think he's doing a little more pressure than he did throughout the two thousand nineteen season you know when we talked to him at various points everyone kind of knew that they weren't going to contend this season that July whether they had nineteen six really built up some good will and finding guys like Mike is trance he worries here to bone really helped as well but I think today for the first time we saw him him realize kind of the disco to what he has to do this offseason so yeah everything is on the table we didn't get a chance that we about certain players that you're the one time for a catcher question and usually what will always ask about buster Posey but yeah I think that was the that was purposeful and then we were kind of stuck cut down because you don't want to necessarily will be allowed all all the cards in your hand well he was asked about Baumgartner and it's not the first time he's been asked about it and every time I listen to him talk about bomb garner I get the sense that Madison Bumgarner is not going to be a giant do do you share that sense yeah I DO I DO in an increasingly so after watching his departure from Sunday's game the the kind of motivation that the giants gave him and and the way that Bumgarner himself soaked in that moment tipping his helmet to the crowd the camera was an acknowledgement of sorts that he doesn't know what his future holds but in in listening to punk are over the final proceedings excited for free agency wants to be with the open market can bring him in the most important thing for Madison Bumgarner has always been a winning and the giants are far down the list of teams that can offer and that this offseason. the bay area news group Farhan Zaidi season ending press conference was earlier today Kerry I I thought went when the entire subject of starting pitching came up the the answers were interesting at times he stated Tyler BT Logan web Derek Rodriguez these are guys that were expecting to contribute to our rotation we already know that quite in some larger going to be there as well but then he also added starting pitching is something that we're going to want and chase this offseason so how do you pull all those statements apart trying to figure out what they're going to do. I think did at the bare minimum they're gonna headed to spring training with eight nine starting pitching options guys you can get them at least a hundred innings next year I don't know the farm on it so focused on finding a two hundred innings starting pitcher like they had Madison Bumgarner like they have so much of Jeff Jamar just check your I mean they had a two thousand sixteen two thousand seventeen but he got two hundred eighty innings this year I I think it's just important to have those guys the front and to me the most interesting thing that Farrakhan said was with the twenty six the roster spot that they'll have available next year they may look into some alternative ideas about how to construct a pitching staff and that that means that they're they're going to try to think outside the box get a bunch of arms together and kind of let this thing play out of the camera over the course of the twenty twenty season yeah I I I made note of that answer is well what it what did you think he met six man rotation or something completely different. something completely different that we haven't thought about it could be a six man rotation it could be a lot more openers the and and a staff that looks a lot like the Tampa Bay rays staff in two thousand nineteen or you have one or two premium starters that bunch of guys who can give you two or three innings that time because remember the guys are going to have left handed specialist dexter they're not gonna happen right handed specialist either because with a free banner minimum all of these guys that they're going to have our starting pitching staff okay are going to have to face more than three batters and at just over the course of a hundred and sixty two game season you need a lot of guys and get you six out of the time and we saw this year in the minor leagues they often group relievers like that like Anderson Franco and and Sam Salman who we thought came up in the months temper I'm you know in in looking at the the moves they're about to everybody wants to know the names of managerial candidates but he talked about how calm currently they'll be looking to hire a general manager and nobody seems to throw names around there have you thought of any who might they be looking out for general manager what are the top last offseason with Billy Alan the asus a cattle rancher scouting guy used to say okay data product I think that you know if the giants have an opportunity to get Billy Owens in the building give him the promotion that he wasn't able to get in Oakland because the data force presence that I think the Billy hours could be the guy and so that may be why we haven't seen some of those things but again you have to kind of look at the second Sir here's the front offices because now that far harvest at the top of the giants they're they're not able to go out and get a general manager somewhere else what is that number two they need to be looking at number three to number fourteen different front offices and that there are very few people maybe Ken Rosenthal at chase start to have that kind of level of expertise front offices around the around baseball and then what about the managerial candidates or at least the characteristics the manager will possess I mean he said they wouldn't rule out first. I'm guys but he definitely did throw water on the idea of a rocky by saying he thinks it's a steep learning curve and and experience is something that we you know will will probably look for so what what did you make of his answers there yet to me that that says that it during the interview process that's how I will go to the experience candid I think the only to be blown away by someone who is the first time manager prospect maybe they will be by Josh bard which the Yankees bench coach or someone like that will Venable who's the cubs first base coach if your guys will really highly regarded in the game of baseball just seem like they're on a fast track for a major league managerial position but you look around baseball maybe gate Kapler if he comes free from the Phillies job he will definitely be on par on radar he finishes the finalists when the doctors hired Dave Roberts in two thousand fifteen you could see some other names Brad Ausmus maybe he he was someone who was really looked out of the cabinet but now that the angels have let him go he could be somewhat of a purchase on the radar so would be really interesting to see how the search takes place and if we can eventually take Kerr Han at his work because when the giants do make this higher everyone's going to come back and point to his comments on October first and see whether he was telling the truth or if he was that kind of leading us astray I do think bam bam or or what is our actual candidates. all I do I do just because I know that have just come across extremely well in other interview processes including two thousand seventeen when the Yankee tired error they were very close and maybe band and their manager so I think that he is definitely one of the candidates who has the potential really surprise farms ID just the way he relates to people you know you speak five languages she was regarded so highly when he managed the Netherlands the world baseball classic can I think that he's someone if they let him go deeper this managerial process of the hiring process he could really surprised that everyone involved in and approaches the front runner just to let everybody know the the overall answers about the ball park configuration I mean they're already taking one the ball paramount out as we sat there and and saw today on a and and he did say they've made some progress with regard to pushing the ball pen mounts to the outfield and at one point made a comment that it will change the offenses of a diagram of the ball park but also said you know still gonna be a pitcher's park what what did you make of all that what do you think's going to happen. to me it's four twenty one is going away and it may be three ninety five or four hundred out there right center maybe the stack on top of each other out there quite general that brick wall but I don't think that there will be a troubled alley tore say it may be it still will be possible for the speedy guys next year but you're not gonna see everywhere the backup catcher rounding at the third base with either the plate of a time in the past like Doug Mirabelli valley way back when let that what he first conquered the ball park. Ali bay area news group the biggest question of all I mean the you know days like this we focus on what Farrakhan said but it's also just a whole New World of for the rest of us who spend so much time about ballpark so what the hell are you gonna do with your life for the next five months at me maybe more importantly who are you really gonna mess. well tomorrow about it the aids wild card game okay as low PH postseason I still have a job that I'm still if there twenty four seven so that is why I will be completely shifting my attention to court tomorrow who won S. than ever in the press box of course you know the people we see on a daily basis you know you you got down on the radio side the press box of course my fellow beat writers that Maria Guardado Henry Schulman Alex tablet shouldn't make any back or leave me we we've become a very close that came into more than anything I'd other competitors but I miss my friends yeah I I get it and that was nice of you to take the time to name each and everyone of them you know you might you might be able to do a far harm like job one day that was very politically correct. I don't think that's something that I I ever aspired to do but that may be it may be in high school sports maybe something like that that that's that that's very kind of you to name our Kerry are you are fancy of featured guests tonight are you ready for the big finish I guess so yeah let's do this Kerry probably on the big finish..

"Ali Bay. Today is September nineteenth two thousand nineteen we you got a game Sunday against the New York giants at Four O. Five PM week three in the NFL season count you gotTa stop that Chicago Barkley Getting New Rookie quarterback to feast on and spend sell long since we had a new game. Yes it has been seems like forever. It's almost like the a preseason or like oh by league committee by week. We've got the Tennessee Titans in jags plan tonight which initially I was like. I don't WanNa Watch that Josh but then I realized that we play both these teams this year and we'll see humphries see how he's doing. He's not doing so. He hasn't gotten any he passes thrown his way. Let me look up the stats real quick on that yes in week one against Cleveland he had five yards receiving and then against Indianapolis in week two. Oh he had to targets he caught both of them but gained negative one yard so he's been a complete non factor for Tennessee. What's record one one one yeah they'd lost Indianapolis Seventeen Nineteen. They beat the browns forty three to thirteen us so I gets you doesn't have the chemistry with markets allegheny heaven. Jameis Winston does not something well. It's GonNa be interesting to see how they're using him night. I've got Jacksonville's new new quarterback Sanca Porn Star Gardner minhsiu. Maybe that's why I like him and got. Dj Chart and my FLEX WCHS so this'll be interesting all new it is a bold move is an off year for me. Ralph's tired of winning at CNN seeing so he's trying to give the rest of us is not like if I win and he was going to quit so I think that we should just swap teams and then no one on now you control mine team. Control your team. We'll no no now because one hundred dollars. You just put it all out there. All right got the video review done of the Carolina Panthers game the video will it'll be up by the time you listen to this podcast. I wanted to have it out by like Sunday. I thought that because it was a Thursday night game they would have the all twenty two coaches film out by Saturday Saturday or so he didn't so it kind of screwed up my week and finally got it done today when they actually got it out later than they normally do and then they didn't have all the clips it was they were missing. A lot of the Carolina Panthers offensive plays so that caused a pileup anyhow it'll be out by the time he listens podcast. Go check it out on Book News Observer done. Her buccaneers observer on Youtube but with the data saying that I'm so proud of your videos I love them and I'm glad that you're putting in and out there because you've always show the games like this but then you're putting it out there for the world to see how you want to football game trying to get back the unique perspective one football. We'll thank you yeah like like I say the start of all those videos to me. It's not XS XS and os as as much as it is the Jimmy's and Joe's I like to watch the little things the guys fighting tripping falling mustard glaze heck. I would like to see who celebrates together to me. I think those are more important than the actual XS and Os. It's one of the problems I have with the game by sports. Madden it boiled the football football down to a lot of people think it's all scheme and it's also another problem. I have with fantasy football too because it's gotten fan bases to think that you can just take a a player that scores this many touchdown say wide receiver escorts as many touchdowns plug them into your team and he's GonNa score that many touchdowns. It's just not how it works. I mean we're all human players awesome team or human. There's got to be dynamics between the guys. We don't like somebody else going to mess up the whole team Bubba. This is a lot there. I think the human element limit is such an overlooked aspect of football. I believe a really do so. It's like when Ba came in and he's talking about changing the culture. He didn't say we all did but that's kind of what we're talking about hand. If you could see it you could see it in these first two games. These guys is are wanting to make plays. Everybody on the field is trying to make a play. There's no loafing. There's everybody's playing through the whistle their physical. It's totally different than anything anything. We've seen what data in the with the buccaneers since two thousand twelve two thousand thirteen those were the only two years I can think of where we had a physical team and guys has played hard through the whistle so he has changed the culture already one of the problems we had with Donovan Smith since he's been with the buccaneers is the fact looks too much and he doesn't play to the whistle but I can say this in these past two weeks. Donald Smith done neither of those. He's played to his contract which just south phenomenal because during the preseason we were complaining even more than usual about him because we were scared that we gave him all that money and he was just going to base as we give off but he hasn't. He's played very well. I think you know we've gone up against two pretty good defenses defensive lines and contain them it done well. I mean you know of course Dom Kevin Smith has made his four paws but all players are going to but he has more than he does band plays and that's what's important and also it's important context wind does in the band plays. Did you notice that play always talking about the other day where he actually finished blocking his guy and then didn't have anybody to block around. Iran look yes. They're all doing that everybody on the offensive line. I've appointed out in the video. You could see their swivelling their heads around looking to see if anybody else needs help and Donald Smith is playing through the whistle. He's not loaf and I haven't seen any loaf yet. That's amazing. That's that's actually incredible because I haven't so he's been here. I haven't seen a game where he didn't have at least what five six loafing plays yeah where he's taken off. He hasn't any he's played really good. The whole offensive of line is playing well. I like them all and in this game boy Jansen was obese man. He was just he was fight with everybody on the field. After the play he was pushing people around getting in their faces. I pointed out a couple of instances on the video with all twenty two coaches will you cut it off after the play is done sometimes you can see when they start getting in each other's faces and pushing it and everything coming from the AFC are they in the north. He was on Baltimore and they have such such an intense division rivalry with the steelers so that's kind of how he came up in the League and then he comes here so maybe it's just an automatic for him taff. Take US division games really seriously might be He's no Logan Mankins now. Mankins was the kind of guy that if if you were within arm's reach of him he was knocking you down. It didn't matter if it was after the whistle before the whistle or whatever he just he'd liked his personal space the he was fun to watch. I like to watch and make him being like that. In public like at the grocery store or taking to the Library of the the movie theater kid back the biggest guy who I think made a difference or you of course you gotTa Give Gilbert the Gameboy which he got it. I mean he played outstanding those three sacks that he got were nothing compared to all the other place he made he was just really really playing well top-notch football and he earned the NFC. I've seen defensive player of the week last week for that performance which was well-deserved oil deserved well-deserved and it wasn't just because Williams sixty on the panthers year a lot of the Panthers Panther fans or Saint Paul Williams suck now it was killed Barrett because he did it across the line when he got up on the left side or the right up against the right tackle US beaten that got to and there's quite a few who plays where you know he was in Cam Newton's phase one time he got a spin move on Williams had a straight shot Cam Newton he was going to destroy Cam Newton and Williams's reached out unhealthy ended up getting flagged for but he had to because it was gonNA destroy came there so Shaquille Barrett played very well but what the unsung hero was whitehead. I just love how men have fallen in love with this guy every game he is. He's tough. He's hard hittin. He's he's in position all the time. He makes the right choices and he's around that ball every single play and he plays safety but he's never he's not a DJ. He's usually up in the box walks. They having play in that. Would they call Buchanan money knacker. He's like a money backer. Now I mean he's made a couple of bad place but generally he's just on on point. He hit McCaffrey in the head so hard one time. I don't know how they flagged out of the penalty but the referees are idiots they had held. McCaffrey was being tackled. This is in the videos well. The McCaffrey was being tackled and whitehead comes running. He's about fifteen yards away. He comes running full speed while McCaffrey's being held up up and just hits McCaffrey so hard you could see. I mean I'm filming this at thirty frames per second and in one frame. McCaffrey's head is over here in the next frame. It's like two feet over and he just he hits McCaffrey so hard and that was a big key to the game was we were extremely physical and we beat the crap out of McCaffrey. I mean we every play. We had somebody on him. Beating the mess out of cleaning beat Alabama either time yes put his weight on him a lot in not not title. Hill Nacho did it so Nacho was in there and he got a chance to get a hold of McCaffrey. They were mall in that guy and it worked that last play the game normally late. McCaffrey would've made that but I think he was so beat up and scared that he he was like Oscar this. I'm going out of bounds so yeah gotta give Whitehead Props. He has played great past two games James. He's really been a unsung hero on our team. I think soon Adama Congress Su he he played. I mean pointed out some place in the video where he had some good moves. That's not good stuff. He got a few pressures but there was a lot of him. Get one on one kind of pushed around. I don't know if he was sick or whatever but he would just did not look like the Sui Louis normally looks like which was surprising to me because I thought this was going to be a sous versus McCoy game where both of them were going to prove their worth. You know try to beat the other guy stat stat wise or whatever it just didn't seem that interesting. He did play Babai Amy and just got us this show that McCoy cares about sue more than sue cares toying good point think about that was probably like yeah..

"Around yeah and here in indonesia. It's grab. You grabbed him by the sit down. Be careful where you grab here in indonesia <hes> so now one thing that was interesting. We had a conversation conversation around gift cards and why you know merchants are loving this because you're creating a new revenue stream for them and then the the way that you take the information and then create a create a q._r. code or something tell us about that is that sounds really interesting well. I mean the q._r. Code generation is is very simple so as a merchant you don't need any type of hardware are needed download the app and we can generate a q._r. code in any form of currency than the merchant conceit received their local currency. It's converted for absolutely free with no fees. There's not as we know we're not building in any type of crazy arbitrage with these other companies like bit pay <hes> but that's that's the q._r. code. What is is is a big deal ninety five percent of the transactions in china done based on q._r. Code pay and ali bay twelve trillion dollars last year. It's a massive market so so i think we'll see this more in the western states and europe and u._s. as we i really thought that the q._r. code was the dumbest thing on the face is the earth and then occasionally you'd see somebody stick on a billboard on the highway and wonder what the hell are you thinking you know you're going by. You're gonna hit a q._r. Code that's not safe safe but has made q._r. codes functional and cool. That's all you have to say about that. He agrees i agree one out of one brand and agrees the q._r. codes rock that has no they're great in in you know i didn't really know much about until i really dove into the space and started building out mobile mobile mobile pay and for us. It's just it's a great tool and you can program and it's dynamic. You can program it to any currency so it's really like and it's easy to implement so you said you take no fees. So how does how does mobe actually make money we have about nine different revenue models and the the biggest one that we have at this point is <hes> relationships with our third party service providers or third party merchants and retailers we make a i would say a commission from them and we part of our user adoption strategies. We give a portion of that commission that we make back to them to to to incentivize them to use the application. I want to go back to partnerships for more because i think that having partners with wide reach is really going to be the essential essential element that brings crypto. I don't know that it you know your your application. Certainly does everything that you intend for it to do right but whoever gets the partnership deals to onboard hundreds of thousands or millions of people or the ones that all of a sudden they're waltz are going to be in their hands right and i think the problem is that a lot of these companies are going going very forefront crypto. We're really going after the mainstream mainstream consumer mainstream business and we're utilizing the blockchain technology but we're also utilizing utilizing certain systems that we are with these rails that i spoke to you about to bridge the gap and hopefully when you know five ten years down the line we can we can see more more more dopp absolute for the masses. It's so crypto. You won't even know you're doing it. Yeah absolutely i mean for us. It's the friction this application and taking all the different steps out of it and the confusion when it comes to crypto in really utilizing a good user experience within.

"Phillips. I'm Ali Bay Day is July twenty fifth two thousand nineteen forty five days to kick off but you know what football is here. Boom is the eve of training camp by the time. This podcast comes out it will l._B._J.. Training Camp and Ralph's twenty ninth birthday totally funny. Please awash very happy birthday. We had a press conference today with Bruce Arians booth Bruce Bruce Jameis Winston Devon white interesting little nuggets there and it's good to see them back very good. They had quarterback school this week where the rookie of came in Sunday and then all the quarterbacks came into except for Janus was there everybody was there no the war with a hamstring outfits giral Ridge Joe we might have been there but nick fitzgerald injured a Hammy playing volleyball on the beach beach volleyball so he's actually sleep input on the list. Everybody in the public needs to step up their game because this is a whole new team. Everybody's fighting for their jobs if you if you out there practicing you probably GonNa make the team yeah and he said as much with Justin Evans ends he said I've never seen the yeah exactly. I'm curious about that. I think just Evans very well could lose his job. When Ryan Smith does yeah to like veteran second there we have have besides Vernon Hargreaves well? It's a it's a new day. It's a new team new coach. I don't think he's GonNa play around with any of this. You earn your job just because you've been there you know I think everybody's GonNa have to earn their job. Performing as it should be as it should be been long time since we've had that we had talked about Devon white timed his rookie contract the other day and we didn't know anything about the contract other than the fact that it was four years and it was all guaranteed money for four years there there was guaranteed seed money each year in fifth year option well. We have the numbers on that. He is now. The ninth highest paid player on the team in terms of average salary. It's a contract to four years worth twenty nine point three one five million with an average annual salary as seven point three to eight million to deal is all fully guaranteed including a signing bonus nineteen point three four million. Does your coming up Whitewater base our four hundred ninety five thousand and a signing bonus us over one thousand nine hundred million while carrying a cap of five point three moon. That's a lot he's making nineteen million here. Oh yeah and he's already going out spending that he and his press conference he somebody asked him about Janus when he thought about dreamers and he's like he's such a hard worker. I call him the other night to use his trucks. I bring some T._v.'s home from the store if you've got a big enough T._v. that you need a track to move it you spend nineteen million. You know something K._p.. Right with this because it saying that the four year contract is worth thirty million basically that's an average annual salary of seven point three million yeah in signing bonus of twenty million right that only leaves nine million dollars for the next three years. I don't know that mass well it saying it says he's going to get a base salary at four hundred ninety five thousand this year plus signing bonus of nineteen point three a million well if he's only getting twenty nine million full contract that's twenty million gone right. There's only leaves nine million for the next three years so maybe he's making three million a year. He's got a cap hit a five point three million this year two thousand nineteen which is what I said about five million yeah. They spread out that signing bonus. That's what it says here. He's he's getting the signing bonus this year nineteen million any anyhow that's the thing we'll stick with. Its twenty nine million ever for over four years. There's with a fifth year option in twenty twenty three. How about film apples how that used to a top five draft pick would make a heck of a lot more money? I do like that with the how the rookies are Kinda boxed in with how much they can make that would cripple a team a franchise for years. You get a first second third. Pick the first round in paint them hundred million dollar contract. I don't perform as outrageous cuddle after two years. You're out all that money and the yeah we would hurt teams. Ma'am never never played an N._F._l.. Snap making fifty eight hundred million dollars ridiculus. It's like damn ball to on the teams part. WHO's at Jamarcus Russell to Oakland Geese he does robbed blind didn't Donovan probably the biggest busted N._F._l.? History if you look at money and like crap at this point we've got two point two million left. The salary counts. We're GONNA have to get rid of people. That's why I say I would be totally surprised we J. Kicked J. P.. P._M._S. somebody with big contracts. GotTa go nate. Put Him on the N._F._l.. Less too so that's a non football injury. I saw you brought up. You were saying that we would might not have to pay him if we put him on the N._F._l.. And I've seen a couple other people say that but it would go into basically legal fights yeah I gathered. I think Tampa Bay TRAE was talking about it too because you can not pay them if they got injured off the field not have anything anything to do with football and it was something that they did to injure themselves basically at a negligence right but this wasn't you know he got into a car wreck. Although it was by himself yeah I it would be up the air so but anyhow two million is not enough and we're going to you know we're GONNA WANNA signed some free agents what let's team start cutting everybody. We need to get up to about ten million. Wow let a lot yeah will ages single be cheap and so what free agent do you think we'll be looking for. Well we could possibly go with regard. It wouldn't hurt to get some more defensive lineman or edge rushers. Maybe maybe they'll be looking. I think it all depends on who comes available and if they coaching staff thinks they fit you know we could use some people in the secondary really the only positions that we're not hurting add his quarterback running back. I know a lot of people disagree with that but I think we've got a good stay with running backs wide receiver tied in Cameron break could be on chopping block. That's a big seat. He's getting seven million this year yeah. I don't think we can cut him at this point but I think we can trade him right. I think we'd get a good trade for him not that I want to. I don't want anybody leave J._p.. Repeatedly but we there's no way we can go into this part of the season when team start cutting is with only two million. There's no way we can be able to go shopping. He'll get well. They couldn't do a germ free agency either be sitting on on his boat twin. Linda's thumbs runs golf card on his boat drinking bourbon. We had a couple of people tweet at us with her wearing their hats. I love that it was awesome. The KANGOL Kangol Kangol hats what's that they got with the crew package for being season ticket holders. You know what I always think of and I see the word Tangalle. I think a key galls ruling on like I don't want to say I think about it burns I can. I'll I think tinkle's yeah. It's an unfortunate name. I wonder why it's called the king all that would be something to look up. Where did the name originate from Winston gave his press conference today to he seemed much more affable and enjoying himself himself yeah he did really light hearted and he got up to the podium and they didn't say thing the media like nobody asked him any questions he gets up there and he's like how y'all do in and nobody says anything and then he kinda gets on them well? How would you guys do Povo buccaneers media you guys it's such a far cry from remember about Midway Point last year how he was just Saturday digestion and all of a so sad to see their cut really put a woman on him in just messed with him middling? I don't think purposely I think he just didn't know how to manage people yeah but yet james seems much more light hearted but the James we remember when I got drafted you know all full of bravado and we're GonNa win not doing coachspeak what we say about gentlemen during Devin Whites Press Conference he asked about twenty questions send throughout the Horse. Immediately newsy got up there. You know the dude still her. He's probably still sign about it. It's GONNA write a story about why she's asking I think she did you see my right another one. She's he's GonNa beat that horse to death I see at least you didn't say dead horse. That's true today. We're horrible people but we I mean you so told me I'm really sad for him. He seemed to be in good spirits though yeah he's at the thing where rioting at like seven thirty at night in Louisiana and she just got to hot. It's too humid down there. Oh I thought that he was here dinner at scientists contract. They were putting the horse trailer now really yeah well. You know I think that was a gentleman story that went wrong to look that up. They he spent like all night with trying to get in the stable. I guess the air conditioning and all that and it just he said he went to the emergency vet Luther midnight and then the next morning he flew out because she died after he flew out I think before I know he looked really sad. When he you assign his contract? Have we are talking about the horse. People do care when you got a problem with. I WanNa know about the Horse feel for the guy that said Yeah. I don't think he's got kids yet. Does he now not that I live but it's exciting to get back in the bloodstream. You know we've been watching that all or nothing with the Carolina Panthers. We're almost finished one. More episode got one more all right. They did exactly what I was talking about. They it was how. How many episodes eight yeah the Carolina Panthers basically had their implosion midway through the season so they should have been the last four episodes? If you do the math we wanna see that drug out I know that's watch over and it's the last two episodes they kind of touched on it. The the last half of the last episode the opposite seven yeah something like that anyhow so it hasn't been enough downtrodden and beat up Carolina Panthers Sir May when I tell you we have enjoyed the last part of this immensely just watching them and one thing I'll say I could botching mid Molly of talked about it at Length v disrespect that the players seem to have for their coaching staff and the owner owner that just came across that way in any of course you gotta take for consideration that you know these shows are edited to show you basically what the producers want you to see but the way they were just treating their coaching staff and the the ownership and everybody in the front office. It was just like good. They don't have a whole lot respect for these guys. The inmates are definitely running the asylum they are. I don't see getting any better this season even with the changes that Ron Rivera's implemented with the coaching staff staff. I don't think it's going to help Thomas. Davis was openly mocking the defensive coordinator like in front of the defensive coordinator like standing right beside him now. This is a young guy it was his first year as a coordinator neater and he actually got his playcalling duties revoked and Ron Rivera stepped in at this point in the season because the defense wasn't performing but say you have Thomas Davis leader a veteran on the defense mocking defensive coordinator then he had a really awkward Weird Exchange Between Cam Newton and the owner people's very strange..

"What could do the buccaneers observer podcasts are Phillips? I'm Ali bay. Today is March fifth two thousand nineteen does big news today. He did. Yep. Coming. Conduit. It was coming. But we knew something was coming something. So what do you think about it? Well, first off I would get through some stuff from the last podcast effect. Check I asked if lovey at everyone more than five games with us. He s he did in two thousand fourteen we went to and fourteen but in two thousand and fifteen we went six ten. Okay. So he won. He's really sticking it up at Illinois. Shocker. Yeah. Also, the follow up we had asked. How was Panthers running game in two thousand eleven to two thousand and twelve when they're awesome running back. Coach Joe skipper left and came back in two thousand thirteen well in two thousand and ten there were thirteenth in rushing in two thousand eleven they were third in rushing in two thousand twelve they were night than rushing and in two thousand thirteenth they were eleventh in rushing. So they were in the top ten when he was gone fell out of the top to him when it came back. That's not a good stat. Well, not for Joe skipper. It's not. And also a follow up. We had talked about the game management coach. He would said that Carolina was hiring a game management coach. And I brought up that cutter had done that as well. Yes, he had pointed Andrew widened jer in his first year two thousand sixteen as a game management coach. But after that, I couldn't find anything else on this guy. Andrew widen. Jer is disappeared. So he wasn't on the country and Rosser or anything. He I think he was on the road coaching roster. But there's no mention of him. I mean, he was just an assistant. But since then, I don't know what what's happened to him..

"Welcome to the buccaneers observer podcasts as Phillips. I'm Ali bay goes news for you. What is that? I don't know books. News today is March fourth tomorrow is last day to franchise tag players. Four o'clock is a deadline. Rick Stroud is reporting today that Donovan Smith is getting the franchise tag at fourteen and a half million. However Donovan Smith has been on Twitter. You guys know how he loves Twitter, and he had to tweets one was y'all know something, I don't know. And the second one was never understood how people believe something. Someone puts out there about another person's life, etc. And especially not hearing it from the horse's mouth. And that was right after the report came out that he was getting franchise tag. He's not in the loop Ray or Rick Strauss making stuff up again. Well, I mean, very well could be that they're talking to as agent and he's the last two now. So we'll know definitively tomorrow at four o'clock, but Rick Stroud report is that he's getting the franchise tag. And then they're gonna resign him to like a backloaded deal. How would we know that he's got somebody in the front office? He he could say that. That's what they're going to try to do. Yeah. That's what he's saying. Bucks. Intend to do this. Donovan is as looking like, he's gonna get fourteen million fourteen and a half months, and that's what Rick Stroud was. Yeah. That's way too much money. I'm sorry. But Don Donovan should be happy about that in fans. What's going on? Yeah. He's probably happy if it happens. But I don't know. It'd probably be aggravating. I could imagine hear people talking about you on Twitter, like they know more about your life than you do and he gets really frustrated in particular he gets upset with people talking about him on Twitter. Like his performance. Yeah. Oh, we'll we're better. All right. That's the life football player. We've only franchise tag to replays in buccaneers history have been around for like thirty years since nineteen Ninety-three. I was the first year, and we we tagged Paul groomer. And then Connor Barth is only other one the kicker as soon as they Ryan anger thousand twelve we don't franchise a lot. Yeah. Take blair's. I don't really understand how it works. I know you just is it just get on for another year. Top. Top ten positions south that part? But then basically short-term you're basically saying they can't go anywhere. Gotcha. But you gotta pay top dollar for. And it's when their contract is up. So really they're not under contract. They're just. It'd probably have to sign a franchise papers or something there's probably like certain terms of crap. Yeah. Those. NFL contract. I wanted to do how Frey how if they get hurt. Do they get paid for a game?.

"Welcome to the buccaneers observer podcasts row Phillips. I'm Ali bay. Today's February twenty seven two thousand nineteen eight thirty PM. So the combine got done today or it started with the coaches GM's giving their interviews isn't that stuff came out. Yeah. Well, you know, what I really funny is that it wasn't streaming anywhere. Nobody had extremely NFL network. Didn't have it. Streaming Buchan ears dot com. Didn't have extreme in. None of the reporters that were there headed streaming. Very weird that is unusual especially firm fucking dot com. Not to have it doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't you do learn a lot of information though? Well, I guess we'd learned information. We we got we got transcripts from pew report. Yeah. And they were tweeting out all day all the regular extrava Gregg Allman Peter report Joe bugs. But I always want to hear it from the source close. Just kind of me. All right. So what did you get out today? Whole lot of nothing. Here's what I got out of it. And this is our last podcast was about was Rick Stroud was full Bs with his article. And you know, as far as is concerned, I was of the opinion that it was an opinion piece. And then everybody just puts picked it up as fact, but RIC strive never came out and said, oh, hey, guys. This is not yellow taken as Addicott out of reading into it. You know, this is just my opinion. He never came out and said that as a matter of fact, he was quiet podcast yesterday. He didn't say anything about McCoy, which I found very strange, but he took that pretended today to jump on labor. The little tidbits that Jason light. And Bruce Arians did say he sure did he tweeted out four or five different things talking about McCoy, which they they brought up. You know, it was it sounds to me like areas and light just talk of every single player. They can I haven't he get this from this is just the new culture anything. Nobody talks bad about anybody. You know? So you have to read in the crap. And it all depends on your bias what you're going to read into. So, you know, one day I would like to hear a coach go when they're asked about a player, you know, preseason or whatever they got that player sucks. We're not keeping him. They never ever do that. You can't well, and I see their point like you can't show your hand all the other NFL teams. Right. Which makes this a poker game. You know, everybody's giving their poker face. So you don't get anything out of. Yeah. It's funny. I listened to the press conference that buccaneers dot com did put up it wasn't the full thing. Obviously. There was more to it. But Bruce Arians at one point set of the combine they're looking for you know, guys and their skill. But also how they do in the interview process how they interview talking about the draft. Yeah. Yeah. It just stuck out to me that. They're looking for those guys who can speak well and audience. Well, that's the new NFL you it's kind of like with NASCAR remember back in the days when ask are you had to Burton brothers? You couldn't even understand those guys talk. They remind me of bomb housing or whatever. Whom Houser from king of the hill the hill, they sounded just like him. I think they modeled that guy off of the Burton brothers, which they were all like that. And then low-income, Jeff, Gordon, you know, pretty boy that smoke whale and everything now all the drivers are modeled after him you have to be able to speak. Well, you have to be married or at least not a Claiborne on. But back in today's these guys were they were all full Landers adulterers, and they were just party guys. Now, their family man, all molded after the same Jeff, Gordon Esq. So it has the same thing with football. Now, you know, you have to be well smoking you have to present yourself. Well, it's not about your physical abilities anymore that that's not the only thing that matters. Now, you got like we talked about the gauntlet. Yeah. There's a lot more to it now. Oh, by the way, you gotta excuse us. We've been moving all week, and we also both have somewhat of a head coach. So that's why we sound funnier than we normally do. See for yourself, totally normal. So when else did you get out of it? They of course, talked up Sean Jackson in wanting to keep them Bruce Arians said they met and human race thing that they hadn't even spoken yet. And we're publicly came out and said, I want him to stay and they the media kinda meted out like he does. Shawn Jackson wasn't returning calls or something who's weird. Kind of. Yeah. I think Joe buck in particular, which it's funny because job out Joe book actually comes out with probably about two or three articles a day about Sean Jackson and how he's leaving. They don't really like the show Mexican, and he I was a podcast from like two or three days ago from before the combine, and this is the Iraq healthman podcast, and they said, oh, yeah. Just Sean Jackson. He's out of here. And then today Bruce areas of like, oh now we're going to keep him. We wanna keep him. This is one of those you can't trust. It's like politics can't trust. What anybody says until it happened? Yeah. You just don't know. You just don't know. So the other big one that we talked about the last podcast was German Koi? That report that came out now Joe Bach fan said that they called some of their sources and verified the report of Rick strong on report said that they have no verification wants. Right. So who knows and with lyrics? Drudge report didn't say that they were keeping German. Right. Rickshaws report will has they thought he would do well and three or four. Yeah. Not the bucks three or four today. Say the bucks three four. I don't think some the what was it. He said his thing he said that they reviewed film and thinks he they think he's a good fit for their in this because that's what he said. And everybody blew it up until we're keeping Jeremy McCoy, right? And actually, I listened to the lockdown bucks podcasts, which I don't normally listen to relevant to them today. And they were under the impression that everything and set it. And that's the problem with not attributing the quotes, then people interpret it a certain way that may not be the truth. And that's why you have to give credit tears. Well in extrap- did a disservice by his headline was we're keeping Gerald McCoy. Right. That was the Tampa Bay times. Typically, a different the headlines. Yes. But in any case, it was a disservice to the article to the right? So it just. Point. We'd still don't know. Yeah. Just so I think it would just Sean Jackson. We don't know because light and areas buzz said they want to keep McCoy and Jackson. Right. And of course, they said that about everybody thought we want to keep all of our free agents that we can just complain poker held even said about bene- knock like said that you have been basically sought to guard this year moving to tackle. Yeah. Right. Tackle about. I I was excited. So they're moving the left tackle and get rid of Donald. I don't see why not he'd probably just as good, but they're moving into right? Tackle supposedly. So he'll be back up Dotson or well that seeming Dodson's coming back. Right. So we don't know about so, and then Capela aren't they moving him to or they're going to give him a shot at guard. I don't know. I didn't hear about that Kaplan. I was following again. Because there wasn't a livestream. You kind of have to follow it by Twitter. Yeah. Yeah. So I got that impression. Then Campbell is going to get shot. Don't remember seeing anything about Kampe that'll probably draft the right guard in the later rounds or something off season, they probably want to try out and see how to potty whatever. His name is. That one. They also said that Jay Stuart's going to be moved to safety strong safety over free safety or both listen he injured a lot last year. I don't think so it just was a little too slow. They all were everybody was nobody plays sixteen games anymore because Donald Smith, of course. But again, he's there, but not there. He takes enough plays off to. Injury.

"NBA where they play seven eight nine guys, you know, a lot of times seven or eight and the other three or four guys just sit there and their sweats the whole game that doesn't happen in hockey, and you can get that key goal from the third or fourth line or the backup. Goalie can have a great night. Everybody feels involved everybody feels responsible just a different. It's a different world. It isn't anybody's fault. And it's not a reflection on the human beings involved. It's reflection on the culture of the sport more than it is the culture of who the people are. I don't want people calling here blaming the people. You know, all those guys are more selfish. If they are it's because that's the way they were brought up, you know, that's the environment that they've watched over their lifetime. And hockey player hasn't watched that environment or been involved in that environment. So. Environments, very important in terms of creating what you want, and that's why an unrelated topic. But related I'm afraid for Adam gates. I don't think he's a leader. So you're going to bring in. Diversity and all kinds of ego into the jet locker room. I don't know if you can deal with that. I don't know if he could deal with that. And it scares me. But you've got to be a special breed to deal with that Ali bay ridge, New York. Hello ali. Hey, what's going on? Happy Sunday to save. You could you hit it on the nail the hockey players in watching it because hockey might be one of the sports to watch live, independent purposes. Great. Walker for free. You bring up excellent points. You know, they had a great year, despite the fact that you know, Sanchez and purchased just went nowhere. And also, you know, people forget that when the Red Sox kind of. You know, when that big run time that Georgia was out to the two months. So I mean had you didn't get know that injury for two months. It could have been a different story. But listen, I I will say the Red Sox without question had a better season. More better team. The last year. But you know, people forget Yankee fan, I'm a diehard Yankee fan lifelong New Yorker, we are very stubborn and people do forget, you know, two three years ago where the Yankees were. And where they are now, and we just have to be excited. And you know, we were I'm thirty four. I was spoiled with the nineties, you know, it just seemed like that's what it was all. Yeah. We went to three championships. And you know, as I'm getting older, you realize listen, that's a dynasty that happens every twenty twenty five years. So I just look at what the Yankee has been. And and, you know, say look, we we have all the pieces we have run for the next ten years of competitive baseball making the playoffs, and you know, would be nice to win three flu championships in five years. And I I it seems like today dynasties one about three four every like seven eight years, which is you know, I signed me up plenty. Yeah. You want to get their Ali. I think you have a good attitude toward it, and you're right. Once you get to the postseason all bets are off in terms of whether you can close it out or not how. How healthy you are at that time and who's going to be your star. And oftentimes as much as we hate to admit because it ruins our ability to predict oftentimes oftentimes, it's the Steve pierces of the world who nobody predicts who has a great week and a half ten days happens to be at World Series time or American League championship series time. And he's the difference for you, your twenty thirty or twenty four th guy is all of a sudden, the reason you advanced, and it happens it happens. It happens more often than not, but we never predict it. Because how could you see it coming in Pierce wasn't on their roster until June or July last year and of all d two and they were critical to how well they did. So we like to predict but it is sort of a silly pastime. All right time for a few more calls Yankee baseball coming up top of the hour on the fan..
