"alex purdue" Discussed on Section 138

"You know around if you want to count the welker games around. So i'm happy with that and you know we weren't. We didn't all predict that there are one and done so. I still think for all three of us. It is a success based on our prediction. I'm i'm happy with that. I'm happy to go down with that for sure. I mean considering that i can. I predicted a world series matchup with two teams. That didn't even qualify. I i i don't have a ton to say but You know what i like. The thing is the blue jays didn't end up making the playoffs. And that's obviously unfortunate but at least it's not because they were a bad team or because they collapsed because in order. They say they had made the playoffs. It would have been probably even better than the twenty fifth team all the the things that went right at once. Basically to get them in so i'm a little okay with it. And considering they won their last game like we knew they had to sweep baltimore they did they. They won twelve to four Easily like if aaron judge didn't hit that line drive or if rafael devers didn't hit that home run or or alex purdue go didn't hit that double or whatever bluejays would have probably been in a tiebreaker. That's all. I really have to say you hope next season things are different and even if the playoffs are the same which probably throw my computer if that's the case but even if they are i still think the team will make the playoffs either wildcard or maybe even the division. I know one thing that i noticed a lot in this episode is we all basically predicted the raise. We're gonna fall off and reasonable to sort of predict that when you lose blake snell. It definitely is something that i think we considered but a lot of us really praised the yankees and i mean good on them. They did they did finish with ninety. Two wins eight games back of of the raise. But i don't think any of us really expected this to happen and even throughout the season it was all red. Sox had a easy season. They're gonna fall off and it's it's basically bluejays either taking place or they take first place but i think this proves that the al east is probably the best division in baseball with the exception of maybe the nfl less with the dodgers and the giants having that great run that they had. But it's gonna be tough. I think next season it's gonna. It's likely to almost certain that they make it. But when you look at this season it. It i can't even really call it a disappointment just considering all the things that had to go right and that did go right and you talk about all of that. One thing didn't happen well. All we needed was not a one. Nothing loss from the tampa bay rays louise would have had their shot to punch ticket to the playoffs. But you know what it's i guess..

"It's funny that is funny but But yeah so. That's that's really it though i mean front office organization Coaching staff. Everybody turned over. Since then i mean might be the same cleveland. That's about it. And i don't know get no no no no. I agree but i do i. It makes sense and and whether it makes sense cohesion. Wise or moneywise. I don't know i have no idea. But i think he's a trade to be honest with you and that's the real question would have to be prospects and cash and you know conditions player to be named later that kind of thing i don't know. But and who would you move out of your roster you know what. What kind of depth hit. Are you going to take any way. I don't know i don't know i'm not sure but i will say this though even if you wanted to keep daubach for space you've got a pretty good d. h. with rizzo well and. That's not a bad point. It's not a bad point at all is that that's the thing about the american league with the d. h. Is you've got a little bit more flexibility with guys you can. You can bring in a guy here like you know. We've got the depth figured out there but we could always use better h so no doubt well and then. He rotates in once or twice a week at first base. That's not gonna hurt anybody yet. Exactly right yeah because you go glover there so totally see i like it but i'm not you know i just want the i want the tradition. You know i want the store. i don't. It might make sense in baseball terms. But i want the story i want. Rizzo back in the farms are in the system. He came up in. That's all yeah. And i and i can see that i just i don't know i feel like the move. Just make sense though as well but anyway speaking of the red sox though The red sox were playing in new york this weekend. Alex purdue go. He's now fielder for the red sox was He typically played centerfield. I believe it looked like he might have been in left when this happened. I don't know yeah but yeah anyway Fan so he tossed the ball into the stands to read he said in houston or to red sox fan. A yankee fan caught it. And i'm assuming by the time he tossed it he had turned around and was head back the dugout and sounds like the fan through back adam and hit him with it. Yup yup. That's exactly what happened. So there was a whole lot of yellow and a whole lot of cussing and a lot of finger-pointing eventually they they caught the guy and they rather than arresting him which doesn't make sense to me why he wasn't arrested because that seems like something you would get arrested for. But he was removed from the stadium and banned further life from all thirty stadiums by mlb. That is a good move. The only concern. I have brig is. How do you enforce that..
