"Albeit limited for the Panthers. Star running back Christian McCaffrey. Of course, he didn't play a few weeks ago when these teams hooked up here in Mercedes been Stadium but He didn't practice a little bit today. He's kind of questionable as well. You know they're hopeful to try toe. Get him back. But as of right now as we speak, if this game we're Sunday I'm guessing he probably would be available if this were a Sunday game, But because of this being on a Thursday, I'm not 100% sure that he will be ready that quick. Maybe he will be But he is back to practicing. He is back. You know, with the team, so Keep your eyes open. Let's see. I mean, maybe a chance that he does find a way to get back on the field and ah and be a part of this thing. Come come Thursday night, I would be just as well not to see him to be honest with you. Back and struggle mightily against those types of running backs those run and catch running backs that can run and catch the ball out of the backfield. They struggle mightily with with those kinds of guys. So they've always had issues with those guys who can run and catch, so we'll see what happens. Coming up on Thursday night now. Couple other things here a cz. Well, um Snap counts for the Falcons thought this was interesting and jobs. I'm gonna have you comment on this. A CZ will so 75 offensive plays for the Falcons. James Carpenter played all 75 snaps at left guard Alex Mack played 74 steps where he was hurt and went out for one play, and in that play Matt Hennessey got a chance to come in and play that one snap, but obviously mad, Hennessey's snaps here of late have really dwindled and diminished. Remember when it wasn't quite 50 50 at the start of the year with Carpenter in Hennessy, but It was split. And now you know, Hennessy is not getting any snaps whatsoever. Jarvis, What are you hearing or what? Do you think the deal is that that Hennessy is it just a matter He's not played will not practicing. Well, what do you think it is that now? All of a sudden, he's getting no snaps in this offense. I think you have to do with how James carpeted been playing because in the beginning of the year is probably in like 75. 25% of you will see them rotating the line and sometimes they would come out and a half after the half. Carpenter will play most of the snaps in the second half of the game, so I think it was, um or is a matter of how Carpenter's been playing because he's pretty much eliminated the penalties and that was a big issue for him last year. And I think he's played really solid. He's been really solid this year, so I don't see a reason why you would run him and continue to rotate him. Agard. If that is the guy that you drafted to replace Alex Mack Yeah, I agree with you, and we kind of talked about that before the season about You know, Hennessy could step in and play if he has to, But I think that I mean, my thing was that I think the plan was better that limit his snaps. You don't really need him, You know, get him practicing this year. Get him to be able to practice this year and and be with the club practicing, but I don't necessarily need him in a lot of game action. Now there's an injury or what have you That's one thing but ideally. You know you want that offensive line to be one group and stay all together, and that's what they've gotten and piggybacking off that as well. Lindstrom and McGary have their second best pass blocking grades of their career. This past Sunday. A cz well run blocking it was Little bit questionable but pass blocking wise McGeary and Lindstrom had their second best grades ever through pro football focus in this game this past Sunday, So you're seeing the offensive line at least come together, and most importantly, to me is You have to start with cohesion. You have to start with those guys playing together. If you feel like you have to rotate guys in and out of your offensive line because of performance, you're in trouble. You got realist use because you want that group to stay together Defensive line a whole different story. But you want that offensive line to be together. One unit intact. No real moving pieces in parts, and that's what it's been, You know of late. Like I said, without the one One play because he got hurt. But other than that, you know, they've been solid as rock. So have the other issues. Yes. But I think you know Maur that they can play together, the better this group will get and remember, they got very little chance. TTo all play together last year as one unit To injury and performance and everything else. They had very little opportunity, and I hate to say it, but I mean How do I say you know that the the lack of that from last year is catching up to them? You know, this year like You know, have they have been able to kind of work altogether last year? Maybe these improvements would have come quicker. But because they didn't now we're kind of having to see improvements kind of happening week to week to week to week to week. Maybe this offensive line isn't quite what we wanted that right now, but hopefully, you know, by the time we get to may be the last, you know, quarter of the season. This offensive line group really does start to come together. Um So I mean, listen, I I.

"And it you'll get a kick out of this person really is into football but. Paul, Brown was the owner of the team in the former coach, obviously the browns and then in the founder in the first coach, the bengals. I watched practice with him almost every day. Because he was out there under this unrelenting son, you know Humid Wilmington Ohio days. And there was nobody even questioned it. I mean. It was unbelievable. The abuse that those guys put up with. Double Days and we'll do so much frances. We wouldn't even have time to watch you. Like we follow behind like you just have to move on would even watch parts practice and unless you there in person gotta learning done live you were not going to talk about you could cover it and you just move on because you had another practice another walk through something else to install on you throw so much people that just got lost what are we dwelling plus plus the physical toll? Like the other day at bucks. camp. One of their receivers was just totally Tucker doubt and a young kid and he came to the sidelines. He took his helmet off and he just puked. And I said I said to somebody. I used to see that every day when I started covering football because it would be It would be unrelenting and just you know the physical demands on, you would just be unbelievable but any has gotten smarter I. Think I need to go through that. Very entertaining sport. Yeah Alex Mack has been really fun. Thanks so much for talking I. "Finally I guess I would be curious about. how you have felt about. Colon you know there's obviously questions about you know Cova being tougher on people of age. Jay and obviously you know how old Bruce I'll be sixty eight. Yeah so and I'm out. I'm out at practice today and I'm looking over and you're having a conversation with Tom. Horan I looked them up. He's eighty one years old. And okay. You both have mass on but I wonder how much fear trepidation. Did you haven't did you talk to Tom more all about it? Yeah we we were both know he. Was, in Hilton head I was a Georgia to lake. Until he came back and. L. We were both very safe about what we're doing. We've you. Haven't been out to dinner probably. Four or five months neither has hit you and it was like. We've got. I think five coaches over sixty five. And I'm a cancer survivor. I was asthmatic kids every damn thing you can have to be in high risk so I I wear I wear mass sometimes. I was told that young wraparound sunglasses are as good or better than I shield. And I just have to be careful because I love getting in the huddle with. A lot of you know outside they don't have to wear their masks I just have to watch. And be a little more careful than normally would be. But You know like I gotTa let you gotTa live and I take every precaution. I can possibly take I'm very, very satisfied with the protocols. Put Him by the League our guys are. Committed each other to make sure we stay. Safe. and. Then they know they have to keep coach more than the other. High risk coaches Keep them safe to so we we had a long talk about that when I got started and I feel very comfortable about it is there risks. Yeah. But. It's worth it to me. Very says it's GonNa work. I think so I think. So it only takes one or two young players to spread all up but I think. I think what we've got the protocols in place I. Think we're going to get through it. Yes. I had this feeling after you sign Tom Brady. And the disease kept getting worse and now you're in this big hot spot and look I I know this is GonNa, sound. Very. Very careless and and and a little bit uncaring. But I said to myself. You Know Bruce. Arians is not giving up the chance. To coach Tom Grading period I mean I wouldn't I? Mean if it was five times worse than it is right now. I just think again I don't think I know you. As as a lot of people do but I kind of know you well enough to know that this is to you in what your choice of job is in your life see opportunity of a lifetime. You're grabbing it. Totally totally, and I can honestly say, Tom. Wassenaar quarterback I'd be as all as I am today but with Tom. That's like a cherry on top. You know I mean that's that's everything and but yeah, I mean. Whoever quarterback was whoever players were I'm all in we WANNA rank and We're GONNA do everything we can to get one and. We've got great ownership, great general manager Daren, Helluva, football team, and We just stay committed to bidding the virus I think we'll be able to beat teams on the field. I areas, Tampa Bay head coach much for taking the time. Thank you be. Back on the Peter King podcast. So happy to be joined by Alex Mack the center of the Atlanta Falcons Alex is joining us I'm today in Nashville after being in, Atlanta. Getting Ready to see the titans now, but after being in Atlanta on Saturday This is sort of the way we do interviews now. WE DO A. Yeah by video conference. It's It's pretty it's pretty amazing but Alex, thank you first of all. I think it would be interesting for people to hear in no in sort of see. That in flowery branch Georgia were the Atlanta Falcons have both training camp and that's the permanent facility. There is a series is sort of a complex. Of. Almost you calm. Large people, condos L. right behind the practice fields. You know big beds big rooms everything like that, and that's sort of where you're living a lot more of your lives this year at training camp explain it to us I mean in training camp we always you stay here in July it was nice because everything was very onsite. He wake with Maureen roll out of bed get to the facility in start that long day now because of. You know Kobe nineteen else they're not making a stay here I can still go home, but we don't have locker room anymore because it's too close to small is too many guys. So we're using all these different dorm rooms as our locker room. So I come here into my dorm room to do these kind of meetings and some online stuff because you can't have the whole team together. And At my shoe drier never they also be here in my clothes has seat over there. But it just this is now the locker room and used to be where we spent camp is where we're going to have our locker room for the entire year. which are pretty lucky about this is a nice facility we have our own space. It's quiet..

"Interstate twenty four West. From. Nashville Tennessee. Up Toward Missouri. Because we're on our way to Kansas City. And if all goes well in about eight hours, we will be in Kansas City Missouri. But. This week I'm doing a podcast from the road. So I've got three guests for you this week. Got A short conversation which taped on Tuesday morning. I had the home of Allen Sills the NFL's chief medical officer. take that in Tennessee. At his home. You'll be able to see some video of that and NBC Sports, Dot Com NBC sports you to page also. But also this week. We're going to have a head coach Bruce Arians of the Tampa Bay buccaneers I was down in Tampa last Thursday and Friday, and then over the weekend I recorded a podcast with. To, me one of the most interesting and and fun guys in the NFL may not know very much about them Alex Mack. The Center for the Atlanta Falcons and also a little known fact he's the treasurer of the National Football League Players Association and we'll have some conversation about NFL PA matters and. Cova and things like that. So. It is a jam packed podcast. I'M NOT GONNA take a lot of time here at the top before we get to the conversations. But what I thought I would tell you is just a little bit about the mechanics of this training camp trip. If you know me know that the training camp trip is my favorite time of the year you spent a month. Getting, reacquainted with every. person who you know in the NFL and a lot of new people we don't know in the NFL and so I've really enjoyed it over the years going to twenty, twenty, two, twenty, three camps over a month long period but this year because of covid. The training camp trip was kind of a casualty. So I'm going to four teams total in eight days as you know of already been in Tampa wrote about Tom. Brady this week football morning in America then from there went to. ATLANTA. Excuse me. went to. ATLANTA. And then to Nashville stayed in Nashville late Saturday Sunday and Monday before getting in the car today Tuesday and driving for Kansas City that'll be my last stop. Then I go home and I've got a quarantine. at that point. So when you live in New York you basically have to quarantine. When you go to any of about thirty five states, I'm not really sure. I. May. go over to the giants jets at some point in the next couple of weeks if I find out, the quarantine does allow that but. I I don't I don't know I can or not. Anyway. What has been really interesting about this trip. The person holding the camera right now is anti colds. She is an NBC sports producer and on this trip. She is my videography, and so you may have seen her handiwork in my football morning in America column on Monday. She is the one who got the OJ Howard, Tom Brady video that basically I used as a huge negative an idea in my column this week. So and he's been invaluable on this trip so far. I I. Really Want to just take a moment to say. You know. What happens on a training camp trip is that you get to spend time with people who you? Don't really. Get the same opportunity to spend time with during the year. And so what is interesting about this here is that all that time is spent virtually and that time basically is spent on this video conference. APP. We have an NBC called Stream Yard right before I, left the hotel. I did Patrick Mahomes. Andy Reid and tyrant matthew with chiefs. This was the media day for the chiefs to do stuff that they don't do is kind of a group media things. So if I was going to get one on one stuff, it had to be on. Tuesday. So I'm going to write about them for next Monday. But my time with them was today so. I'm basically covering the chiefs from the J W Marriott, hotel. In Nashville that's where I'm I'm getting this stuff. So we'll go watch practice for a couple of days, but there's not going to be any interview opportunities. But anyway it's just it's a new way to do things. It's different. Next. Week on my podcast I'm going to do a little A little bit more on the mechanics of NFL coverage these days. So I look forward to tell me a little bit more about that. But so that I'm setting the scene now you're going to be able to listen to. my interviews, Alan Sills NFL chief medical officer Bruce Arians coach the pucks. Alex. Mack. The center of the Atlanta Falcons happy to have you with me on the podcast this week. So let's listen to Alan Sales. Doctors Sills. I think everybody in the United States is basically watching the NFL in looking at the results that they see from the national football league. And early this week it was reported that there only twelve players out of two, thousand, eight, hundred approximately who are on what is called the covert irr list meaning that they could either be positive for covid or they could be in close proximity with someone who is positive for Covid and thus was going through a testing regimen to make sure they're okay. What does that say about the progress of testing? Well. There's one other group that actually can also be on the Cova Dr in that group that has had a positive test that hasn't been confirmed yet. So there are definitely some of those, but but I think it says that first of all that we're keeping a very close eye on this situation and and obviously with daily testing and all the screening that we're. Doing, we have a tremendous amount of information coming in, but I think it also says that are clubs are doing a terrific job. You know meaning our players, coaches and staff everyone is taking this very seriously. They're looking at how can they prevent risk for themselves and for that that team organization and I'm really proud of the work that we're doing there are teams. Are Built on competition and excellence, and I feel like they've taken that same spirit of competition not to compete against each other but to compete against the virus, what can we do as organization as individuals to make ourselves safe here and and I think that's that's showing up in the results. So. As we sit here right now, there's so many. Things that I'm sure you have to be concerned with on a daily basis. What are the things you look for every day when you analyze the results that you get from teams? Well, we're always obviously I looking at new positive tests. You know anyone who test positive and really what we call a novel positive meaning. You've never had a previous positive test because we know medically that if you've tested positive in the past, you can have a positive test for many months. Afterwards that's just part of the unique features of this virus. So we certainly look at those novel is, and then we also look at the context data to see how our teams are doing. You know with the distancing and making sure you know if we do have a positive, what does that look like in terms of close contacts? If you were to. Look at a every team. And the fact that the highest percentage on any team so far has been one point, seven percent positive tests on that team. That seems to be. A lot more positive than I would have thought particularly with people coming from wherever they were coming from all around the United States. What does that number sadie that the worst team has been one point seven percent positive tests yeah. Again, I would say Peter. I was pleasantly surprised with that because I felt sort of like you did with people coming from all over the country and even all over the world in some cases that we were likely to have a lot more positive cases when everyone came together because remember those intake tests, they didn't show what happens. Once you're in the NFL facility, they just said, what are you bringing with you what? Are you coming from the outside but I think again, that goes back to saying that our players, coaches and staff they were already thinking ahead and making sure they were taking precautions leading up to coming to training camp so that they arrived in the healthiest possible state and and so I think it's a very positive start but to put it in football terms, that's the first series or the first drive of the game we got a lot more came in front of us, and so it's a great start but we've got a long way to go. We have to remain vigilant because whenever we let our guard down, that's when we become vulnerable. What if anything have you learned from baseball where the Marlins the cardinals now, the reds to some degree have had some positive that have kept those teams off the field..
David Archer previews the Atlanta Falcons
"The Atlanta Falcons will do so with a former Falcons quarterback. Now he is their longtime color analysts on the radio network for Atlanta. And that is David Archer. David Hope all is. Well. Thanks for doing this. When we look at the Falcons, they made a big offseason acquisition getting Todd Gurley We don't know where the health is of Todd Gurley. What do you expect at a Todd Gurley coming over from l. A to Atlanta for this upcoming season? Well, be honest with you. I think we're expecting a lot of early and mainly in the Red zone. If you look at Todd Gurley's numbers, even with with so called quote unquote down near Around 900 yards rushing, still had 12 touchdowns. All 12 of those touchdowns came in the red Zone, and I think that Atlanta if they could find a way to run the football down close Help three up the talented weapons that Ryan has on the perimeter. Now, listen, you have a little bit more of a potent attack a little bit more looking a little bit more like what? You looked like a 16 when Avante Freeman and Tevin Coleman. We're carrying the ball down there close and created that problem in the run game. Atlanta has not had that over the last couple of seasons. I think that's where they expect Todd Gurley to make his main hey is down there in the red Zone. With the way that you probably have to manage his reps as a running back the rest of the running back room. Is there something that jumps out to you? Yeah, I think it's a good group. Really Do I think that when you look at Brian, Ill in the way, Brian Gillis Kamani together that Hawkins drafted a couple of years ago, Brian Handsome solid moments a year ago. Quadri Allyson. Kid at Pittsburgh rookie from a year ago. Uh, kind of woke himself. A little bit of a roll is a short yardage guy. £225 Goal line Guy, four touchdowns. Hopefully, you know, Smith can come back. He was injured in the game a year ago. I believe against the Rams in which he was trying to pick up a Blitzer, which he shouldn't be here should be doing, but he is an outstanding receiver out of the backfield. And a good change of pace back at the back, So they get to three young guys that I think you could lean on. And like you said, Take some of that. Load off. Assad, Girl. Let's get to the next down. And when we do so, we take a look at Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. The two big names in that organization. Do you still believe that this team could be a play off team once again with Matt Ryan and Julio Jones? I do, but it's you know, obviously, it's about you know your supporting cast and you do some things on the other side of the ball, and I'm sure there's a question you've got to worry about the defense's side the football, But there there's a little area in the offensive line. The left guard has been a little bit leaky, right guard's been a little bit leaky because of some injuries and things that they could shore up that into your part of the offensive line. Ryan's Like most classic quarterbacks climb in the pocket. They got to be able to give him that opportunity. Do so if you get into your pressure and accurate from problems, one game will help in that regard, but Yeah. Julio Jones, 16 seconds, 1300 yard seasons. Matt Ryan, nine consecutive 4000 yard seasons. I don't see the one those guys backing off. When you talk about that offensive line to follow up on that I'm a big fan of Matt Hennessy. Being a temple grad, really smart football player puts in a lot of work. Is he going to make an immediate impact in your number one? Yeah, There's always a question that he's certainly in the mix to be the starting guard. There's no question about that. I think that there's ah lot excitement around when he brings the table and and obviously the heir apparent, Alex Mack, probably its center. So Alex back in a little bit longer to still have a good football any But I need to put some guys around him that Khun taken, it could be in there and we had German Brown and James Carpenter guys that could not stay on the field. There was some solid moments from those two big veteran players, but they did not stay on the field and consistency. In the interior specialist that left guard spotted Kennedy ultimately will probably win that job and be the starter that guard let's get to the next down. All right, David Archer. When they flip the switch here and go to the other side of the ball defensively, it was an up and down year for the defense, but it seemed like they did finish in a better spot than what they did earlier on in the season. You could probably say that for the entire team with the Atlanta Falcons this division. Is loaded with offensive talent. You know what the Saints are. Now you have Tom Brady and the division with Tampa Bay, and I'll be curious to see what Teddy Bridgewater does with the Panthers. What's your read on the Falcons defense entering 2020 Well, it's an uncertain situation obviously went on God. Dante Fowler, Dad's pressure off the edge contact. McKinley realized what they thought they had when they drafted him a couple of years and the number one spot picked up Charles Haley, who, ironically, was in the same draft. And raided a route the same attack McKinley are Charles Harris. I'm sorry. Charles. Charles Charles Haley. Right way. I'd like to have the guy that was rushing the pastor there for both the Cowboys in the 40 Niners. That would be great, but Harris. He does have some raw talent there. Can't he realize that I'm the Falcon Tutelage will have to wait and see Grady dear. It's an emerging star in the tackle position and Marlon Davidson, Vienna and an interesting ad, a guy that has the versatility to play inside. Maybe in past situations and also play the perimeter as a 34 defensive didn't run down situations. The answer at all Burn second round draft pick of the fact that they think they've upgraded their defensive line. It'll have to be upgraded because you get extremely young secondary. Probably gonna have a rookie a corner starting your nickels, a second year guy in your other corners of third year, guys, So there's a lot of young players on the perimeter need to get some pass rush speed up the thought process for the quarterback. Let's get to the final down. Alright. I'm surprised that Dan Quinn is Bacca's the head football coach for the Lancer Falcons. What does he have to do this year to keep his job and Is that seats the warm because, like I said, I was surprised that they brought him back for this year. It is warm. I think that it's fortunate they brought him back because of the current situation with the pandemic and the uncertainties, so some continuity certainly has played into Atlanta Falcons off season. I think they've had a solid offseason, much as you can, with the limitations. They're attached to this year, So I think that it was good in retrospect that, uh, Mr Black decided to keep Dan Quint on, but I think he's got there. They've got a bit pushed for a playoff spot. I think they've got to be. They can't come out of the box one in seven. It's got to be a team. It's in the hunt of the entire way. As you said, it's going to be outstanding division with outstanding quarterback play, but they have to be in the hunt to be a part of the postseason play. If they do that. And I think the fans will be a little bit of stab on the wound for the fans. But if you get out to a slow start, it would not surprise me. If if Mr Blank made some kind of decision mid season on coach Boy and I think, coach when is the right guy for the job Now it's put up or shut up. He scored a touchdown will go for two here Oscar. One more question This team was 11 5 We all know the deal they were in the Super Bowl blew the 28 23 lead. The next year, they did go 10 and six, the last two years. It's seven and nine. If you had to identify the biggest reason why this team has regressed, and I know they've had some injuries to but overall if it's not the health of the team, what's the biggest thing that you look at? Why this team wasn't able to recreate that magic from 2016 and 2017? I think their inconsistency ball on both sides of the football in conversion, down situations and in the red zone. I think Atlanta's done a great job of moving the ball from 20 to 20 But when they get in the red zone, they bogged down and settle for too many threes. And I think in turn the defense's side of the football. What about 22 23 scoring defense coming up 25 points a game. They've got to find a way to get more stops in the red zone. That's probably the answer that you could probably get from all teams struggled and not made the playoff teams, but I certainly think That that's identifiable with the Falcons over the last couple years, the inability down deep in the red Zone both on offensive defense, Julio Jones, he's Ah Hall of Fame player. We all know that one of the better wide receivers in the league He's only had one year of double digit touchdowns, going back to 2012 when he had 10 TUC maybe 10 touchdowns in his fortunes this year. Well, I think he's certainly capable of it. But you got an outstanding receiver on the other side of Calvin Ridley, who's realized his abilities down in the red Zone Pretty close. I think Aidan hearse is going to be a seamless transition from Austin Hooper tight end spot So there are a lot of weapons from that Ryan to get the football too. Don't forget Todd Gurley and how good he is at the back catching the football as well. So I I would say no, I think he's going to be 89 touchdowns. I don't think he goes double digits, but I think there's a lot of guys around him. They're going to score touchdowns. Look for guys somewhere between 13 14 guys catch touchdown passes issue. Say that we appreciate it. Thanks so much. You be well, my

"Being kidnapped for some older. You Zoom napping the very first one. Yeah we gotta figure out what we got we'll brainstorm. Maybe listeners can give us some suggestions. On how the Tomahawk uses this opportunity to make news that everyone is clamoring for The other thing we talked about this Joe. And you know it's funny because we we've had these discussions about you know the corona virus and being in quarantine and so many thoughts emotions and you kinda changes daily for us but one thing we've always talked about for the beginning is like you know trying to think of other people that are tough situations office and I know a lot But me specifically when we had the conversation a while ago we talked about. There are certain kids that we know are super affected by that and we were trying to figure out ways that the Tomahawk can use. It's platform for good. So this is a perfect episode because you get named to the all decade team and we finalized everything that we needed to do the last couple of weeks for this initiative and what we WANNA do for all of our Tomahawk listeners. If you're listening for people that are in a position to do so we want to do a fundraiser. For Children in Ohio who had been affected by school shutting down and are not able to get the the meals that they count on a lot of families like that I was a kid growing up that You know I mean. If we didn't have lunch meals it would have been a lot tougher from school So we've partnered with the children's hunger lights in Ohio in the Cleveland browns and me and Joe are matching up to fifty thousand dollars in donations. Were hoping that you as the Tom Flock will join us. We will post a tweet. The link we will send the link out probably put it even in the episode notes. That whatever you can give please give. We're matching up. The fifty thousand dollars and our goal is one hundred thousand dollars to give the children's hunger alliance who helps feed children across the state of Ohio. Who are in desperate need of these meals that they're missing from school. We've partnered with the Cleveland browns on trying to raise money for the children's hunger alliance because like you mentioned. I've got a lot of educators in my family and one thing that they said as soon as school got shutdown was holy crap. Were these kids that depend on these meals. Mala just lunches but a lot of them come to school early so they can get breakfast yet an launch because their family situations are such were. They don't have the finances to be able to afford nutritious meals throughout the day. And now there's all these kids that are at home and parents are in a tough situation. A lot of people have lost their job. I saw Report from Wisconsin. That like one out of ten workers in Wisconsin just recently lost their job. And so now there's even less money coming in and there's more food needs from the children in the family standpoint. Because they're not getting it at school so This is just a way for the Tomahawk Family the Cleveland Browns to be able to try to make ends meet a little bit in this really really difficult pandemic time right now And I think this kind of sparked by some conversations that both of us have had but my mom who's a member of the Tomahawk and she's probably listening right now said something to me a couple of days ago. That was really powerful. She said do something Nice for somebody else. Every single day like and it doesn't always have to be financial like that's it's not even that just think out all the folks outside of just. Your family are somebody else's family that are especially the elderly that are in complete isolation and the loneliness that they must be going through on a daily basis. And so recently I made it a to call my grandparents the ones that are life and just check in just for five minutes. They grandma GRANDPA how you doing. Hope you're doing well just thinking about you know. This is a tough time but just think about reaching out to those people that may be. Don't communicate with as much that maybe don't have as many people that are talking to on a daily basis that probably have this amazingly horrible feeling of loneliness and this feeling of fear that they can't share their situations with anybody and that the -sarily that they need to talk about what it's like you know being an isolation and being in fear of getting the corona virus but just hearing a familiar voice and knowing that somebody is carrying and thinking about you it goes a long way so if you take that approach we've got a lot of extra time on her hands now at this isolation and quarantine gone on so just take five minutes out of your day call. Somebody sends me attacks that maybe you don't normally talk to that. You think might be having to deal with this by themselves. Maybe a little extra lonely because of the situation. They're in whether they're immuno-compromised or whether they're elderly or whatever it is and just feel good about yourself by doing something for somebody else because that's another way to try to get through this personally when you're in these these tough times whether it be financially on top of the quarantine and the isolation absolutely man and you you really did hit the nail on the head because like you said I mean there's just so much and we are super privileged in the job that we're able to do and even this podcast. Which again we joke about making seventy million dollars per episode. I hate to be the bad news. That is not the case. We were just joking with that but this is very therapeutic for us and we love this platform. We love the fact that fans like like to tune in and feel like they're part of us because they are and you know we just wanted to put our heads together and say not just. Because I'm always confused about this when someone says they're matching up to a certain amount we're going to give our we're going to get fifty thousand dollars on behalf of the. Tomahawk show no matter what we great. Nfl careers we were blessed. And we're putting the position to be able to help others so it doesn't matter what we raise but the only reason why we're mentioning this on the Tomahawk platform is for our listeners. Who are in position to help others. Right whether that's fifteen dollars or whatever it is like if you can give to help somebody out. We want to use our platform in our our community. Which is what the time of lock is our community for that to help those kids in Ohio in a place that has been so incredible to us in our careers so yes so check out for that link and donate what you can and let's all do our part. We appreciate you guys always always hanging in there and support us in. This is an opportunity to help others and not.

"Welcome welcome welcome to the Tomahawk. Show I am your co host. Joe Thomas with me as always why Humbler of goes Andrew Hawkins. We are here. Live another quarantine episode of the Tomahawk. Show Hawk what you've been doing man. I've been trying to figure out when he content to put up. You know I'm trying to get my creative juices going. Keep them going. So I've been really Kinda dig into that and then enjoy other people's stuff. I have not before you even asking me. I have not watched the homework that you've given me because I feel like this episode came quicker than we expected so under those. I should be rid of any consequence. Yeah what Hawk is talking about is this is sort of a little bit of an unexpected guerrilla. Podcast not gorilla in the sense that we've had before when big Brown's news happens but Myself AND ALEX. Mack were quite recently announced as members of the NFL all decade team from two thousand and ten and so varied. Hey Man we better get. Zoom Am I. Corn Team have a social our With the two of US and see if we call our old buddy Alex mack and maybe he could regale us from some of the glory days of Cleveland Brown years. How about that two of the best players in the last decade? I got to play with on one team. How about I WANNA all decade team to jobs in the Cleveland Browns all decade team. I THINK CLEVELAND DOT COM. That is skewed. The voting four. So I think it's very similar to what you just made one hundred percent sure but that's incredible. It's funny because you just mentioned that and actually. I did see that you were on the all decade team for the Browns as a slot receiver but now the truth comes out that you skewed the vote because now it does make perfect sense but of course you were the best slot receiver that I played with when I was with the browns. So you're one of the best players in NFL in the last decade. So if you say it's fact it just it just liquefied me by you making the all decade another hall of fame another all decades if we had episode every time you got an honor we would have three episodes a week of its amok show man. That is the truth Unfortunately these are honors. That don't come around every single year so next year. We probably won't have any episodes of the talk show. That was the standard. But I haven't seen your digital stuff that you've been putting out. It's been pretty funny this. The thing that I saw most recently was the Odell Beckham Nike Athlete Town Handoff. I'm just wondering did they. Did you have their permission to user video for Your Really Funny Skit? No do I ever have permission to use anybody? How did he have you lawyered up or done anything different during these quarantine times two times for the massive onslaught of lawsuits? That you're GONNA hit after stealing everybody's turns isolation buried if it's if it's getting to a place where it's bubbling up to people Lawyering up against me that means my content is getting really visible. Which means I'm making more money on the other end so it's all worth it in the end. You got to kind of take the winds with the losses. Joe Funny Videos have been good. You made the all decade team. We'RE GOING TO CALL ALEX. Mack here to see if he will join us on the Tomahawk show. Because I think we're officially the only podcast with a host who is a member of the all decade team. That's a great question. If I got a research team was not an isolation we might be able to find out that answer research sme shirts and that makes it affect my brother. Us Love. There's really no. Nfl news either. Which is crazy. Like that's the only NFL news. You are part of the only nfl this week at amazing so I was talking with some of the ownership with the browns this week and we were starting to talk about the drafted Sophon I think everybody in the NFL is is nervous because there's not that many things that go on in NFL offseason and they're already a little bit drawn out to try to like get little tidbits of news consistently through the calendar but the fact that there's no other sports the NFL holding the draft free agency is like the closest thing. The world has gotten to sports in a while. And so you could tell that the NFL's like really really trying to drag some of the stuff out talking about. Maybe we delay the draft. Maybe we do the draft where the GM's different locations. Maybe we allow them back into their facilities and so there are floating all these trial balloons just to get people to keep talking about the NFL because they have got to be so scared nervous when the draft is over there is almost nothing. That's going to happen in the iphone world between men and the start of whatever offseason or training camp or season is going to be and so you can tell that. They're going to release their schedule like one week of the NFL season one week at a time. And that's going to be all anybody is talking sports media on sports talk shows because that's what we got right now man that's it. We gotTA figure out a way to make news. How can Tomahawk Make National News in this time? That's what we need. Our viewers to do is to figure out how we can make national news. I fell kidnappings them that would be amazing because A. You're really you're.
Falcons could field an offense with 11 first-round draft picks
"So we had a truck a couple of signings by the Atlanta Falcons over the weekend right to pick up tight end Hayden Hurst from the Baltimore Ravens and they also acquired look Kwan Treadwell a former number one pick for the Minnesota Vikings yeah as the Atlanta falcons roster currently stands right now on offense alone just on offense they have a Levin former first round picks all of these former first round picks quarterback Matt Ryan first round pick Todd Gurley who sign when he was released first round pick Julio Jones first round pick Calvin Ridley first round pick the Quantrill first round pick Hayden Hurst first round pick left tackle Jake Matthews first round pick left guard James carpenter first round pick center Alex Mack former first round pick Chris Lindstrom the right guard former first round pick and right tackle Caleb McGary also that he first started his first round eleven is incredible let them all eleven of them a former first round pick I mean there's no way that's ever happened before right I can't believe that what ever but here's the real question if you had to redraft everyone of these players how many would be former first rounder this okay because I think this is fair Lidstrom McGarry and carpenter I've always been really what one or two years no it's been really since two thousand eleven okay yeah so let's remind me Gerry I think you were taken off or taken them out yeah okay so all of the other nine how many would be redrafted as a first round what's what's going on it's not right absolutely no question that runs for Todd Gurley no yeah I I would say no I would sit well I would say no one quite frankly his a conversation about the value of the position in general could also affect the new with him that was the thing coming out of college yes I look he has fifty eight rushing touchdowns over his first whatever seasons and all the other ones are either in the hall of Famer going let me just say six are we saying first rounder today or go back to the beginning again it would re drawing back to the beginning again because I'm currently the way Todd Gurley came out I mean would you not still take him in the first one that's the question now right are you going to pay for that kind of production from a running back anymore we saw Christian McCaffrey Leonard for net like there's been plenty examples of even a legal or not re signing a big second contract drafting a great one of the first round can still benefit you a lot okay I'm just trying to get to it you know is that what they've done in their right career does that mean where are the first roll worthy to me the girly thing is to your point he had a knee injury coming out of college and right when they signed with the red sign that long term deal with they're trying they got out of now then he was going to be chronic so to me the top group member he was the first one that airports reset the market for running backs and it turned out no he just re establish the old line of thinking but that first three years of production would you that would you spend a first round pick on that because we saw that rand's office how much in common now it always goes like this with the running game but in combination with an offense of line that did really well what you brought into what worth over would you pay for that as the foundation of your off I'm beginning to go the Melkite around here that I'm not sure running back as well because Melvin Gordon was in that same draft and Melvin Gordon is on his team I got an extreme I think that's the biggest conversation we could take out of this is the running back position record number mellow one point eighty never take a running back in the first Rana I wonder for we're slowly but surely going back to it I mean there was a contract a couple years ago with the first running back off the board was late second round out of Tennessee and I think we're going back to that after a bevy running backs being taken so we were definitely in on Matt Ryan yes we're out on Todd Gurley a legit is amazing looking back at Todd Gurley's draft class there's not a lot of got like if you're talking about reworking the top ten Todd Gurley might be the most wealthy in that group maybe outside of Amari Cooper yeah we can we can have that discussion later because that's in it read graphic I think is always fast and you have to wait a certain amount of time Julio Jones know quite well right Calvin Ridley first round too early again I think it's too early last year what he had sixty three receptions okay just under nine hundred okay seven touchdowns I would mean he also can't account for how bad that team ask me yes or no right now I'd say yes but I still think it might be too early Hayden Hurst no not because look they they took marketers later in the draft in the third round he clearly became the tight end of Baltimore which made Hayden Hurst by the way has taken in the first row before Lamar Jackson R. Jackson for Lamar starting you know tight on that team right now marketers you said right Hayden Hurst also dealt with some injuries and stuff there too that's okay in perfect sample size and when you have a guy come on like marquetry who could predict that the way that offense ended up of what he was the Mackey award winner a what he was coming home with one truck will no no Jake Matthews yes I think so I think so I think so do not I meet yeah yeah I mean yes he's been there he's been there is a second contract I also wrote a like doesn't miss a lot of games he's he's dependable yeah I think that's what it our printer are probably not I mean he's he's been a guy that's been in the league for nine years now dependable guy but we're talking about first round right you know I mean when you're twenty four we'll talk about for sure we're talking about top ten picks like a lot yeah yeah yeah I I'd probably lean toward no on that as well yeah yeah Alex Mack yeah absolutely yeah yeah and then the other than what we remember and I think Lidstrom would be headed in that direction yeah kill the guy who's more reach last year get killed the one I have questions about obviously we know the health concerns that existed before the draft earning a hard issue that he had had to deal with early in this time oxygen so there's a lot to hash out with those two but just I mean blows off the page when you just read that number the every single hundred dinners with that crew yeah what eleven Ryan still got its still on that ride to reach for the paycheck first but everyone else has to at least go for their wallets and act like there's also a common I do with you know with my dad so you got rid you got Ridley help you got got this R. Ridley Hearst links from a Gerry all still on their rookie deals you know wrecked yeah everybody else is is all for them yeah if I'm looking at yes correct so yeah they're all fascinating eleven a former first rounders on

Yes probably just getting used to. I think it's uh-huh why even though to today yeah well. Here's my thing I'm I would be answering this from completely like a memory standpoint. I don't go back and watch old shows and I know that's the thing people do and I'm not even saying it the way people say. I don't even have T._V.. I'm not trying to brag. I just don't like with movies same thing. I really don't go back and watch him again. I watch him once <hes> so I would say in my brain I loved Clarisa explains at all uh-huh and the secret world of Alex Mack that was so good but I have recently mentioned the secret world of Alex Mack to someone and they were like the what now and I'm like well this secret secret great point famously but I you realize just how dumb all those shows were when you bring it up in a reference and someone doesn't know it when you're like well. She used to turn to become a puddle of and really the C._G._I.. Wasn't there yet so it didn't look but it was in our heads and she go under doors. That was her power. I can go through this door. Eye Doesn'ts Creek too late in the ninety s for it to count as an answer <hes> I was allowed to watch it so it feels like yes yes because if it was like party five and all those things I wasn't allowed to watch so okay the only one that I can remember actively because you didn't get to watch a Lotta T._v.. When you're no yeah that's right. I I I would come home from Middle School and Watch T._v.. Before my mom got home and I would watch sweet valley the high which that was show not just was they made it into a show and it had like I forget the name of the actresses but they're gorgeous beautiful aw and it was on at four o'clock so it watch it and I pulled up. I googled it to make sure that wasn't something. My brain was miss. Remembering the intro to that show was the most nineties thing cannot wait. Go go look it up later. Go look it up. That's the one I remember. That's like the what I did with that Ryan Gosling Boat High School Cool TV show I had to Google it to make sure it was real and not just a thing that existed in my mind he was on Jay. Can you Google it. I WANNA say it was a Canadian show but it just like we could see Degrassi Grassi here which was after us but ricker hi Yep breaker. High Ryan was on a boat high school. Believe that the primary the log line yes please do. Ryan Gosling goes to school high school when these teenagers say they're going cruising. They're not kidding. They're high school is on a luxury liner that you're going to literal federal boat to get an education while also exploring exciting locations. Is that thing that has ever existed or is that like I can't tell if that's a fantasy premise or or if that's like oh in some countries they have <hes> you know boarding school on a on a cruise ship. I know my cousin did some like boating thing but it was it cruel a whole year. It was like a couple of months. I think like study abroad in the navy aboard. It was a she wow wow you should stop. Well, here's one I will be surprised if you watch the secret files or the mystery secret files of Shelby, well, yeah. After months, no idea. What that is. You see there was going to be places where we weren't intersex nineties though. Absolutely, Alex Mack. I never really watched world of Alex. Also be on my time. World of Alex Mack was kind of what saved by the bell. Was that was my secret like watch. Watch that you Ida younger, brother. So like, I was watching some younger sisters never saw that show. Great show. It was I five kit. Yeah. Yeah. What was it? What was it about the premises? Alec. They say I think in the lake theme song episode. I remember. But basically, she's like walking home one evening and literally put it to a tune at least. Jay was welcomed home, Monday toxic. I'll just I can't things. I'm just daredevil. Origin stories. She was blind. It's the prizing. She didn't become blind. Because what happens there is a VAT of toxic waste spills on her life, basically journal or the toxic vendor. Inventor truck built and she gets coded and talk the good and she walks home. And she basically realized she. Inconvenient. And printing. What's that flash? Anyway, hurt she realized that she can literally like melts into gelatinous sort of metallic blob go very one thousand dollar anywhere. She wants much very good call and then to get re materialized, and I think she could also like move things or Stella Connecticut works, and so she had a secret life. She had her bath Frenchie and older kind of a drag. But whatever and like. Kids who kind of an early introduction to Saifi what terrible TV shows that you watch. As a kid flipping off, Sean. Always slipping. His or there is. Well, again, I think it was saved by the bell was definitely like my secret. I washed a little bit of the first season of Power Rangers. But. Same. I was a little for reinsurers teen fourteen to it might own that. I had giant robots and the robots combined into a bigger it was like voltron live action. It was the closest we were ever going to get at that time. Now, we'll probably get like who is your favorite ranger green wall. Leads me. What's become the white? No jason. Seasons. Red sox. Bath male ranger. Differentiations of Mel ranger. Okay. I was Jason captain, America's the best. Venture. What I know that's division. Who said that said it? Yes stores the best adventure. I know he's so handsome because Chris about that bunch. It's not even sure. Sure, just Chris venture ragnarok easily my favorite of all the vendor moves. But now, we're not even in the nineties. Yeah. Just the small pieces of the she had some it was a top secret chemical. If anybody remembers the secret world of Alex Mack three one two nine eight one seven two hundred. I do not remember that. Let's see how about this. About this city guys. What I don't remember. I don't remember that guys. It looks ridiculous. The picture. The picture looks ridiculous here the minute we heard that CIT y you can see why these guys are streetwise. We knew one of our favorite shows the moment was it was about to come on. I guess it had it must have had an interesting opening theme or something. City guys followed to Manhattan, high school students who were trying to stay out of trouble while causing it. Plus the show star Dion Basco whose brother Dante Basco was Rufino from hook. Well, they're digging deep to find a connection of some kind of the classic movie, gob and Williams eight that movie. Really? Oh my God. I almost walked out. I swear to God, I'm walked I'll tell you. The only thing. The only thing that I came away from that movie was. The and this is this is how I mean. I just remember. I hated it. I just remember what we hated. The only thing that I I my observation from that movie was who the hell who who was responsible who had the UN who drew the short straw in had to shave Robin Williams back. And his body. Ooh. You thought of that shirtless? I know. Doesn't have any hair and Robin Williams was one of the hairiest men that ever lived. That's true. And so like when he was shirtless in hook, and he was clean. There was no, no hair. I was like what the hell. Who? What what Porsche mock had to shave Robin Williams back. So that's the only thing that I remember about the movie. But anyway, but I guess the Dante Basco in it city guys. You should see a picture. This thing, man. It just looks ridiculous. Ninety three one nine eight one seven two hundred is the phone number. All right. How about this one brotherly love? What does that one sound from? Well, it should. Do you? Remember, ben? I remember the name brotherly love will. I describe it to you. And if you look at the picture, you'd be able to you would you would remember it? Immediately fans of the once hit show blossom might remember Joey Lawrence, starring a sitcom with his brother aptly titled brotherly love, though, the show only lasted for two years. We've got forty episodes with Joey Matthew and Andrew about half brothers who've come together f-, an accident claims their fathers lives cheese. That sounds like a happy premise for a sitcom. Yeah. That's Joey Lawrence, especially after blossom. Yeah. Yeah. Joey Lawrence right there. Joey Lawrence who by the way, got kicked out of celebrity big brother after the third week. He lasted three weeks. All right. We got some texts coming in. Seven seven three Nick checkout. Brie Larson short term twelve I did check pre Larson instructor twelve and she's fantastic it. She's great in that movie. Six three coaches, I played a Sega Genesis and a GameBoy color. That's going back in time right there. The nineties. Two four the start tax black flip phone as a Star Trek. You get it. You got you have to have a Star Trek fan that was in the nineties. Eight one five area code nineties. Michael, Jordan and the bulls. Yeah. That's true. Strew eight one five area code says sports, pull over jackets. Eight one five Eric also says ninety show dream on. That was one of the first successful HBO shows. We had some no we we would they the counselors were elder counselors that were like nutritionist, but they say, they're the kids would go home and come back the next day. So what's? Actually going to change your lifestyle is not changing. I guess I get one healthier meal than they would if they were at home normally, and they would get active whereas home, they wouldn't be there were some really good soya's. There were some kids that actually committed themselves to the program and lost a lot of weight. And like I said there were kids that actually gained weight at night. I make a very law. Ming sound? Don't be alarmed. I am fine heavyweights again. Right. Andrew Keegan was in Campbell. Remember, Andrew, Keegan and your Keegan was like this is gone on long enough. I've never on the cover of like, sixteen magazine, or whatever that was called all the time. I kid all my Dino who Andrew Keegan is. No, I'm not leaving right now. Now, I'm gonna pull it back Mike now. Now what's going on too long? Now is when you decide and Yuki going, oh, this students in ten things. I hate about you. As anybody has anybody kept whatever it is. They had going on since they were younger more than Mario Lopez. Like in terms of taking thirty years into adulthood and still the same damn boy toy as an adult that he was child JT. He looks great Marlow bit. How old is he man? He's got he's got a fresh coat on. That's not kid ourselves. But does that mean, I mean, these supplementing? Talks Hollywood type no good. He's got the dimples. He's got the dimples credit to him Andrew, Keegan you'll be happy to know is still working. He's got a new movie and post production called adverse. These in a lot of stuff I've never heard of. But he's still working. Oh, he was in CSI in two thousand twelve I was actually a while ago. Actually, his career does appear to have stalled a bit a bit. Did you guys nominate anyone that would rival Mary Lopez? If I go all in with guy who's kept it going since being child beefcake, the longest. Yeah. JT I feel like he's evolved. Well, Mario Lopez. Yeah. Because when he was on safe by the Bill, and he was just AC Slater. There wasn't much depth to that character. It was just like, oh, he's like a beefcake he's strong. But now, he's hosting extra TV. Like, this guy's everywhere. I guess just there can you put it on the poll. Guillermo, who's done it better? In terms of being a boy toy for forty straight years or remaining a boy toy J T or Mario Lopez because Mike seems to think he knows that I'm not this is not about the credentials of Justin Timberlake. "So we sort of make each other work every day for five or six hours, and we had a friend doing Alex Mack. Well, I it was it's vici spider. We did we did we were sitting Senator eight episodes of animated series. I don't even remember it was the house mother on on the facts of life, Charlotte Rae. Hilarious who wrote for for that show. And then we wrote for Alex Mack friend Ken Lipman who's now headed production Amazon. Yeah. Was was creating Alex Mack with Tommy Tommy do not. I can't remember anyway, and he has his rice, and I actually played a science teacher chose. Well. And then we went in for an interview we started writing specs, and I met him writer on Dave's world, Marco Pernet, and who's still as on mom now he's been around for while too. And he I said if we if Brian I write a spec days, we'll give us notes on it. So we'll have a solid spec on the show. Nobody wants to spec days. So we wrote this spec days world. Wrote this back. He gave us who knows? We took his notes, and he said 'cause really let me let me show to Fred baron creator and see moving at your meeting. Maybe he'll toss you a script. It's so this was when you could they're more chances for freelance. It was more freelance crowds. Somehow because there were only four networks doing scripted programming. But yeah, they will wait fewer people that wanted to right. Yeah. And we went into that meeting. And I always tell the story young to we were so prepared. We had six story ideas fully beaten out fully broken jokes act breaks, everything we had the whole we went in. And so they'd read our script. They said they really like me. Thank you guys have any other thoughts for the show. And we started we said, well, we Dave gets us Mustang Mustangs. Oh, that's gotta do anything else. Yeah. David. And we went on by by about idea four they said you're hired. Wow. You're hiring. Who do we call that could have gone the other way it could have? But but but. Many preparation. Yeah. My my moral. Hopefully, is that a lot of writers these as think that they've done their job by getting the meeting. Yeah. And you know, I'm sure you know, people like that. And. And. I haven't even done your job. If you've gotten the job you still have to step up. You have to be an idea machine. You said it earlier, right? And I'm sure, you know, this is well, maybe you said, but every every job of you ever have in any field for anything ever is. How do I make the interviews life easier? How will my being here make your life easier and idea machine is the way you make one hundred percent. So so it's just something. But nobody they don't teach nobody teaches anybody. No, no, no. Especially this little these little things. There's no way to learn that she's going to say have a friend who had a friend who get meetings suck at jobs and choose talking to my friend who was like, how do you get every single job? And she's like, oh, I prepare. She's like, what do you mean? I do some research on the show on the show enters like, I think about ideas. She's like she's like, I probably spend like a good twenty hours probably total preparing. 'cause I'm watching episodes in friend was like what's in? It was just like, oh, there's another mode now everything like episodes three and understand like how you roll in. There's a big wheelbarrow full of money waiting on this. Just going to dump it in your car. Showed up. This is not the price is right. And they and they don't they don't do that. But and these thing I say classes is if I was thinking that USC say, okay. "Alex Mack best center, professional football listener friend of the Tomahawk show. He was blocking Aaron Donald something happened. You know out Samat goes, whistle whistle. He doesn't. He doesn't stop didn't take breaks. He went all the way to the whistle. And Aaron Donald one play. And he might have gave him like one of those Chuck's in the back because air Donald was like facing the power, and and Alex is kind of shoves them in the back a little bit. And it might have been a tick after the whistle and Aaron Donald wasn't expecting it. So Alex Mack pushes them Aaron Donald life turns around like quickly like who the F was that, you know, five looks through the this grim sees it was Alex Mack says some tool Allah's, Maxine something back because he's a competitor out air damages points at him for like two seconds like twice like, okay? Very next play. Aaron Donald comes off the ball fast and the entire office of line smacks. Alex Mack tackles the quarterback before he hands the ball off enforces a fumble, Alex meccas one is back. That's what I knew. Oh, man. This dude is is different is not like the rest of us there that was the same game where I realized who Aaron Donald was because I'm always a hater like these young guys come into the league and all these fancy, Dan commentary Tators. They're always talking about how great these young guys are. And I'm like until they prove it on the field against somebody. That's good NFL. I'm not buying it. And so job Antonio the whole year was talking about all man, Aaron Donald he's so good because they're in the same draft class. And I was like Donald guys two hundred eighty pounds. I give you that. Good. Like, listen, bro. I've been in the league along time. I've seen a lot of good defensive tackles Aaron Donald does not worry me. Well, then we lined up against him and Alex Mack at a double team on Donald. And he completely stood us to the point where we didn't even get a hand on him. And he got into the backfield. And he tackled the running back. He tackled the running back seconds after he was handed the ball from the quarterback. He was lucky if he would have tackled the quarterback the quarterback probably would have fumbled. And this was on a hand off on a run play. And it was at that moment that I knew was legitimate and job. Antonio was not billed smoke up. My ass. All right hoc. Let's get into the tunnel. Hot takes of the weekend. And I want to talk about Packers versus Vikings because living in Wisconsin living in America's Dairyland. Everybody wants to talk about what's wrong with Aaron Rodgers. What's wrong with Mike McCarthy? But I wanna talk about what's wrong with the Vikings because the Packers are going to beat the Vikings and Kirk cousins is going to do his best Kirk cousins impression where they lose..

"Halloween? Candy, my favorite Halloween. Candy has to be don't say candy corner, you're off now. Ill candy corn is disgusting. That's like serial killer candy. My favorite candy would have to be either the mini Eminem's that come in the little tube. I was always obsessed with those or gummy bears. I love gummy bears. So those are my top two favorites or midnight milky ways. That's three candy corn being the official candy of serial killers is my favorite Tomahawk tape of all time. This is going down. Here's here's a Halloween question for you walkers. Do you like them or don't I feel like they're very divisive? Loppers are disgusting. Disgusting. I don't mind whoppers. I love wop rougher, Alex Mack. I we're the only guys in the office of line room that love loppers. And so when I bring all the extra Halloween candy that I stole from my children into the room. And we'd eat it for like months him. And I were the only ones that would eat the Walker as everyone else would just reject them. And I didn't realize that there were so divisive until that moment because I grew up in a family that loved wipers. Thank you very much. Hey lead rounds you guys ever had fudge rounds? I've never even heard of that. I don't think. So there little Debbie little basically little chocolate hamburgers. It's just chocolate on the outside swirled with icing chocolate. And the inside is everything about it is chocolate. It comes like, you know, what oatmeal cream pies are similar to OMO cream pie. You don't know what oatmeal cream pies? No sheltered life. God. What do we? Doing oatmeal cream pies has like nine of them in a little box. They used to be like a dollar nine will fledge rounds is like the super-duper extra chocolate version long story short. I would get those boxes, and I would eat all nine of them immediately. And if you knew what ephedrine was you would probably think it's discussing, but since no one does we're going to move on from this awkwardness, and I love I love him. I'm all over at hawk. I think it must be something of our generation these these young wings you've got on Tomahawk show. Just there to nothing. That I can't eat anymore is those pixie steaks or like funded. There was There was just. just sugar. You said that we're you drink like seventy five days. So what's the difference? It's basically a mountain dews basically taking a pixie. Stick into a Cup of water thrown Thrown in in the the fridge. fridge. It was a big pixie. Stick kid, by the way for sure did you snore too? Yes. I don't know. Why? We're sort of really to check the coach sticks. All right. I think that doesn't for today's version of the Tomahawk show. Make sure you are following us on social media at Tomahawk show hit us up with the hashtag, Tom. Don't forget to send us video. I am so happy that the Packers have decided to come down on the side of a count ability and not worry about who snitching in locker room. But worry more about the performance that you put out on the field on Sunday. So hats off Mike McCarthy and all those guys in Green Bay that did the right thing by trading time on Gumri after the selfish moves that he made on Sunday. No, more Nana sources people that take us out shell hockey south.

"Because heaven forbid she asked him out, why can woman just ask a man? Oh yeah, Sadie Hawkins bitch, there's there's one more moment between the two sisters I wanted to cite before I launch myself into space, and that was the and I don't even know where I fall on it. I just think it's interesting that happened was Julius dial says to Alex Mack. You don't always have to be who they want you to be, you know, and then her saying like, you don't need to dress or act in a way to get guys to like you. Fair point. And then her sister responds by saying, I happen to like to be adored like I happen and and I kinda like that too where it's like it's almost similar to the scene between like cat and Mr. Morgan where I'm like, oh, they're both kind of right where it's not wrong to like. I'm not. I feel defensive. I'm like, it's wrong attention all the time. Right, but it's not, you know, it's like she's not doing anything wrong but doing that. But also it's like, I don't know. It seemed like a nice older sister moment to be like, oh, you know, if you don't want to do this, it's not like required that you do it right. It doesn't result in anything in the story. They keep doing the same bullshit right now the same bullshit no matter what, but at least they said that's like the whole deal with this movie. It was like they say, a lot of feminist stuff and none of it has any impact on the story. Yeah, they don't do it. Say it actions ladies come on. This is all the patriarch would let us get away with just like a few nights at us being free and owning ourselves, but also not doing those things. Got sound good on a t-shirt shirt because then men can make money off of it. And that works. I would like to think that after this movie ends and she graduates from high school and she goes off to Sarah Lawrence. Meanwhile, he's ledger stays in. In Seattle and like maybe I don't razors intern. And they never see each other again, like I feel like they just, you know, they dated maybe for that summer and then she's like, all right, I'm going to go off to study biochemistry. Yeah, to become a woman in stem woman. Melina would have done a better job in Palo Putin Esca. But ultimately he would never accept a part that was be so reductive towards young women. So that's it. That's my feeling on. That's the beginning, middle and end for this movie. Does anyone have any other final thoughts about ten things I hate about? You know it just it just left me really wanting things in high school that I would never get. Yes, that I mean, this movie has a whole slew of problems. One of them being that, you know, he manipulates her throughout the entire movie and like so many people are complicit in this manipulation where like cats sister is in on the whole thing where she's like, yeah, helped me do this and then also not realistic because since one can highschoolers keep secrets, right? Like this would be busted within twelve hours for sure, but the whole school knew and they just didn't tell her right. There's no, there's no is so he's manipulating her. And I would say the manipulation isn't as bad as we see and she's all that, but it's still inexcusable that he's accepting money. And then of course, does not apologize for it. He bribes her with a good tar heel. So he takes the money that the guy gave him to date. Cat gives her guitar with that oke into our car..
