"There's really some conversations early in the year, but those guys getting fired and that's the reality of it. Mr. Whiskey didn't work out. And so any dog makes sense to start the season. He's not the long term solution. But what if we're two games into the thing and 2021 the Bears or bears in it up on B. Dalton looks terrible argues, gonna throw Justin fields out there before he's ready, and we three And sort of have a repeat of the Mr Biscuit situation. I'm not saying just because Mr Basically, I think he has a chance to really, really good. I just hope that he's not rushing to the field. As a means of two guys trying to save their jobs. I don't know if that's gonna happen, but they're in a bad situation and that they have to win. Now. Does Justin feels buy them a little more time? Maybe it's not gonna buy them an extra year. I feel like living with us for weeks. Was que separates you back to my original point. They're gonna try to get him out there sooner rather than later. What is not necessarily in the best interest of the order vision. Lot of people said that the Raiders as you alluded to it, Alex Leatherwood at number 17 where the big losers last night a confusing decision. Did you also think that confusing is the issue? That's wait. Oh, put it And on some level this feels like the Cleveland burial pick a few years ago, when Mike may have just got there's a GM and, of course, John Cruden coach because he felt over drafted and to this point clearly failed first round talent who was over drafted inside the top five. Alex Leatherwood. I had a day to grade on him, and I talked to folks around the league that agreed with that. But look, we say this all the time about quarterbacks. It only takes one teeth. They need help with the offensive line because much crazy things that Jon Gruden did. Over the course of the off season that said, they've literally could've picked anyone on defense and made that defense better. And here's how I come out of the first round. You look at the piggy say OK, this team better now than they were. Before Thursday and the Raiders or not, they they're not. They drafted Alex Lowe. What you could help. But there it's not a substantial upgrade, which is what you need in these first round picks. So puzzling is is where I would put this. Would say puzzling would describe both the Steelers and the Jaguars decisions to take running backs in the first round as well. Both nausea Harris and Travis Ctn might end up being very good backs. The Steelers had a lot of needs, especially the offensive line and the Jaguars. The worst team in football out of those two did either nausea or ET en makes sense in your mind. Yeah. So not the nausea, hair smooth by God, and they stay didn't signal but it had been pretty clear for a while that they were They like nausea, And that could be a possibility there. 24. There were some conversation Maybe the Jets had they been in 18 would have thought about that as well. Your idea that the opposite line is terrible. They need help with cornerbacks in helping edge rusher s O. They had playing these quarterback. We just talked about what if Mack Jones was there? I think that I think about that. But We're not your hair is drawing comparisons lovey, Um Belle and the Louisville. We always met these ConStor draft time. But if it's anything close to that, that will help and you can come back and a two and a three and you can find offensive line help, But you're not gonna find it, Not you, Harris. And that's probably thinking there. Jack Wars moves a little more. That concerning, But look, this is Urban Meyer's first year, you know, they kind of picks. You have to use every single one wisely after, By the way, having a ton of free agency kind of money created. See that you didn't go out there and crush it on. This team has to win, and I feel like six or seven wins is doable. Next year if you hit on everything, and and and by the way in the 17 game season, and then after that, you gotta start going to playoffs. So try. You know, we got trade Trevor Laurence done and done, But I think 18 feels like he was over, attracted by a seven or eight picks when they would've been back on the clock. And again operative lines, even tow line safety cornerback those their own just well, linebacker. So I thought slightly ever drafted love the player. Just question the pick. Would you think about the Panthers going with JC Horn? There was a lot of thought that they should go offensive line as well. Help out. Sam Donaldson help out Christian McCaffrey. Instead, they went with horn your thoughts on that decision. Yeah, No, I love love just you horn. In fact, I had him as the first defensive player of the board. And you know it happened right around the time that passes through town without the board the other corner back, which we thought was gonna happen with the team nearby, but the pandas don't have any depth. None at cornerback. So that made some sense. Um, and it feels sometimes attack now, so that's good for seeing dollar pick up a script year option. But you're right. Sam Donald came from an organization where he spent much of his time running for his life. So you have to sort that out in Carolina, which I think is a better situation for for Donald. But it's not substantially better, And that means Surround him with players that can protect him on offense. That would imagine we'll see that happened soon, starting in a few hours starting tonight. Which player are you most excited about optimistic about going into tonight? Oh, so tonight. So what's gonna happen tonight? So let's see what my list here mixed up missing one. So bookie bashing his head. Russia's I liked a lot of the weak force, and I mentioned the name and in terms of a new office. Chiron tell Maura could do only 57. But he's going to 14 9 at his pro day. 40 minutes Political and it was absolutely electric when he was on the field..

"We thought it was gonna be maximum three. At least I did for the longest time. And now I wonder if this is Sam says there's a great fit for any quarterback, but I do wonder if the Patriots and Matt Jones, we want these conversations. We haven't fired 16 years by. Whoa. How did we let that happen like this? This feel sort of similar to what we saw. You know, a lesser degree, perhaps, of what? We saw a comrade for two days. Tom Brady is 1/6 round pick. That's the entire league with it on him For six rounds. This is only this is number 15. Overall. Here is Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports, and I was wondering about the Bears because It's become a cottage industry to crush Ryan Pace and Matt Naggy and their quarterback decision making and the Bears constantly flailing to get a QB. And last night they were widely lauded for being aggressive and going to get Justin Fields at number 11. Did you think that was a smart and savvy move by the Bears? Yes. So I I love it. I love it on the surface. I love it for my long tortured bears friends who now have something to cling onto. Besides a tweet from the organization that said, you know, six weeks ago that Andy Dondre T V one because that's You know, That's not how you get the same base excited. Here's my only concern. Th so you're taking Justin Fields and you, Mitch Ryan Pace and the man Nicky have been up against it for a while, and let's be honest if they start slow. There's gonna be some conversations early in the year, but those guys getting fired and that's the reality of it. Mr. Whiskey didn't work out. And so any dog makes sense to start the season. Educating Developers About Actions on Google with Yksel Tolun, Google Developer Expert

"I know that you're a lawyer during the day so I'm curious. What got you interested in technology and specifically voice technology enough to pursue this on the side as well. I have been interested in programming or all my life. I have met programming by ten and ever since then I haven't interested in bed. I wanted to build things that many of us that got me into building web applications and then Iran's low school by Jack pursuing it. I always had this interest. Bod Bonding one. Good thing about not thinking about making money from development is that you get to pursue feels that are experimental that other developers might see non-profitable islands. One of those people lucky enough to have the time and the energy to proceed. These deals and none of them was check box. I read an article about chat bots on how Baber the feature of technology interfaces and I was eager to try Giant learn how to build one that got me into API and then it became glow. Got Into Google assistant and how I ended up before a psychology but when I made my first force application it literally spoke to me. I said this is what I WANNA do. This is what I actually looking for. You know ever since I started programming and hooked ever since I heard most hitchens in Bombay I love that. I loved it that passion has been there for so long one of the things you've mentioned before that's important to you is the ability to translate emotions and feelings of voice go from one language to another. Why is it something that needs to be thought about? And how do you suggest it be done? This is something I always but might ultimately shops because I actually talked to a group that is probably going to translate once chiller experienced. Run up there so this is really important to talk about. I've actually talked about this in another interview languages. Have you know small nuances? That can change. The entire experience was or changed the meaning so we need to think about these bad translating inexperienced. Because sometimes I translate inaction or experience or conversation and I think the centers. It's dramatic incorrect of that sad puppies. That's not how we say it. We should think about rewriting a novel. And you're trying impress the reader we should think about the person or the user is going to feel when they drafted this user experience. So it's really important or developers from station designers to take into account what's appropriate to say while language or some of the little idioms or maybe Faysal orbs. Y'All should really think about the conversational nuances before. Translating is skill or voice experience as really important. I'd actually off the boss Harry Potter on this subject before I'm GonNa do again airport Translation is one of the best translations. In my opinion I read in both languages and I'm really happy that I read it in Turkish because translators took the time so make the spells or made up. came up with sound like Turkish. They translated That makes sense both as Orban told towards usually they are and in a way that sound structure. That is a medically glocer. What I'm used to hearing it was really important for me as a child with a bellevue. things that sound but sounds like us and uses the voice of US bench Experience we should take into account and no of do our research before using Google translate or any other atomic transition dollars. That is a great point and I love to hear that Harry Potter translated so well. I'm sure that's a really interesting to read into different languages. It is. Yeah now you have done a lot of experience in organizing in mentoring workshops and hack Athans about actions on Google and evacuate done over thirty four events in two countries eighteen cities and that was just for two thousand nineteen. What got you started in hosting these events. And how do you usually run them? Walk me started is actually a GDP do not Jewish community is right. There will developer communities on the world and I was a part of Gijon Kara and at that point I was only the developing chat bots with API or other Alex Lowe with the names but stable like trying to host a Google Assistant Event. Just didn't have anyone to talk about. Who LOSES THEM OR D platform? So I checked out the platform and soul of that. I read the new technology behind it and I told them I could do this. Dan I did and they really liked it and they shared that I knew the stop other Jewish communities some of them called me and then after I realized people want to hear what I say. I applied a couple events and one another. I started doing this and I really liked the fact that finally I could give back to the community that has been giving to me our show long because I have learned a lot from developer my past and I really like the idea of being able to share my knowledge at passionate so this is what started however actually run them right now it depends on which event. I'm running if I'm running the workshop. I tried to keep the number of attendees in twenty to forty because after forty really yes crowded and I can't answer every question and I may miss some errors or others abuts between these numbers. It's really productive and I tried to start with talk immediate talk of because even though of you're doing a workshop people still need learn about voice. Revolution the actually able to appreciate the workshop itself vice stocked with mental. I talk about the whole human to machines reactions changing and then ice. Some statistics for people like numbers. I show them how the industry is growing and Ben actually talk about how many Turkish actions are there and why is such a big deal. Torreon developers to a field and get used to it or get good at it because afterwards start the workshop. I have a sector right now. I usually with one action. That can take one input and Ben repeated and then you take a step. Further in the next art buyer. Easy Take that. Inputs and do something programmatic in the fulfillment and afterwards they all try on their devices. That are it's android are and they're to go. That's the workshops that I hold for beginners and if I'm running more invest like for example with Jimmy did programming skills. I usually go one step forward and have visual opponents. Shown to them how you'd slide cards. Why you should can use our cells and such and such but sometimes we hold these special events very take the whole day and start with. Diallo Design Conversation Design To The programing part. So it really depends on what kind of man running. It's usually focused on getting the developers started. Because it's such a new field in my talks. I like to focus on many different voice expenses that you can bill not just. The voice skills are voice actions on the Google about smart home actions or other experiences that they can build in talks. I chunk of folks a number in workshops. I usually focused on the programming side or actress on Google.

"Back here at FedEx forum, it's over the U of Enzo winner Tigers knockoff East Carolina in the thriller. Seventy eight seventy two time now in the locker room for the penny. Hardaway postgame show brought to you first Tennessee Bank, the official Bank of the Tigers. Congratulations coach on the win. Now nine and six on the year and tenants six. I know I'm looking at your score thing we have to tell these guys to give us that win. I I know you you try to shake things up today. You started all five seniors fell behind by fifteen sometimes the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray, well, you know, we were really doing it to try to get tolerant Thuan understand it is a daily basis when you come in and you have to work hard. They started feeling like that days were easy. Stop working hard started coming into practice a little later had to push the entire practice. Go hard. So just kind of put the seniors out there as a, hey seniors. Go ahead and showed his Jacques. Here's how it's supposed to be done. And they did a horrible job of showing it. I mean, sometimes you had down days, but. Down days from your seniors. I wanna talk about positives. But there are some concerns here. I know we'll we'll let let's get those out of the way right off the bat you win this game. So that's the best part? But you know, you're talking about effort and defense, and I know that was a big thing this week. And this was a team that got some blow buys at the beginning of the game. And they also just killed you on the boards. Forty four thirty one nineteen offense rebounds. There was one point in the game. You took Davenport out and admit court was showing him out of lockout Keven like I said, he's he's a guy that has to be pushed a lot during the games. He's so talented and like I keep saying offensively. There's no one that can guard but defensively he will fall asleep. Sometimes he doesn't want to rebound sometimes you don't want to box out. And then he'll go through a spurt where he's rebound and everything and adobe supposed to do it as a Saint, you're that's kind of tough. But I mean, he's he's one of our best players and he's our most consistent player now. But the energy level just wasn't up for him early. Which is like a lot of the games. It hasn't been up. And they usually around the second half they start to come around. So. Man. We just go to we're going to need the energy and effort level from the seniors to be way hard. And what it was today? The rebounding thing does that concern you a bunch. That's two games in a row Houston in this in this game where they killed you on the offensive glass. Well, it is concerning because we go to the games understanding what it's all about. We can stop their offense. We could make a mystery shop, but we have to get the rebound. And I don't think these guys understand the magnitude of give it up nineteen offense rebounds. You know when you lose the game. They look at it like, yeah, we we we got smashed. But we'll get back. You know, the next game, but do better, and then you come home, and you lose the rebound about get smashed on a rebound. Those guys just wanted it more. And that's that's the hardest thing when I talked to the team is hard. We allow teams to want more than us. If we have a common goal of making it to the NCAA tournament one guy that I I do think really helped turn it around in the second half in particular wanting giving you that effort was Antwan Jones, and you did have on the positive side here. Six guys in double figures. Yeah. We I mean, it's never Antoine's basketball. Talent is more. So mental with him a lot of things that he has gone on and Thuan county. Yes. The be pushed a lot. But he's still talented. So coming into the game and doing what he did we expect it, you know, we want it for more minutes in the game. But we really expect him to come out there and make things happen. We scored a basketball, and it's no secret we've been score eighties nineties for the last month month and a half. It's just we can't stop anybody. We got to be able to get defensive stops, consecutively. And then get out in baskets since you talk about defence you turn this game around when you were down fifteen by going zone. You went to that zone in critical times in the second half. When you fell behind to is that becoming your bread and butter. Yeah. Because we can't guard man to man right now the way we really want to you know, that's one of the things that we have to make teams contested jump shots. And then we gotta go get the rebound in its own. The Garza told to go rebound. So it's just breaking a lot of bad habits. Man. We're working on in practice. We're talking about it consistently and constantly talking about it. And it's just not translating and carry it over to the game with the guys I have to ask. Ask you about Alex Lowe, Maxine only got to play about two and a half minutes. He was coming up, and nobody called out the screen, and I mean, I felt it for him. He really went down and that poor kid really tried to get up. I mean, he wanted to get back up and help you. But even the referee said you've got to send them send them out. And I know he never came back in the game. Can you give us an update on him? Yeah. Alex's concussion protocol. We don't know if he actually has a concussion, but he was a little dizzy, and he plays so hard and running into their screen. That was definitely a big man's Paul because he didn't call screen out too far back, and Alex was pressuring the ball and got hit solid in his head hit flush right into a share. So to me, he's he's gonna is probably going to be, you know, a minor concussion because he's still walked back out there. And he still was on the bench. He wasn't in the back. So we gotta get him checked out and make sure he's okay. But we'll rest in the next couple of days and make sure everything is good. But it was a big loss for us not to have him out there because he's one of our better defenders and in the end, you do show guts and come back, and even when you get close and fall behind again. You figure out a way to win the game. What was the big keys for you guys to start doing what we have to do to win the game? The thing that we started we needed to start the game doing playing more desperate contested more shots going to get more rebounds more loose balls and making themselves asserting themselves into the defensive end. And and make them more assertive efforts to go get baskets instead of shooting threes them getting into paint. So I mean, we know what to do is. Yes. I guess when we got to the point that where we get desperate. We started play harder. Now, the double double for Keven, e even though we we know he had some defensive lapses here. Fourteen and eleven that's who he is. I mean today was a really bad Abraham, and he's still got fourteen hundred eleven then let you know what his his potentially is on his team when he's when he's bringing it up every minute that he's out there. Plano's plano's, tough minutes, two minutes. Daddy, get every every second that he's out there. And here you are not your best game either. But you end up winning and you end up winning by six seventy eight seventy two we'll take ugly wins. This would have been a sad deal. If we would lost his game at home because you can't lose the games at home. You gotta protect your home court in ECU, credited him and Joe Dooley. Coach duly they came in. And did a great job they energy early and they pushed us early again. And we have to come back and fight to get the win. But we'll take another win. Yeah. They're they're going to be tough in Greenville. I can tell you that Cincinnati already knows that. So you're up next on the road. It's New Orleans team. That is struggling I gotta believe that somewhere down the road during your NBA career. You ran into Mike Dunleavy. Absolutely. I played against Costa on the teams over the years. And he's very smart you'll have them well prepared, and we're giving them all kind of amunition if you're just play hard. You can beat members. That's what teams are saying now. And that's just that's totally disrespect. In these players have to feel that and have to go out there and play with more heart more fire, more passion, and we have to do that to win the game on the road at at today. Congratulations coach win number ten to one in the league. I know it will get better. Thank you. That is penny. Hardaway brought to you by first Tennessee Bank. The official Bank of the Tigers. I think. Am I getting a player? Should I take a break? We'll let Robert b our producer here. Let us know exactly what we should do. Again. The Tigers are winners. They were behind by fifteen in the second in the first half cut it to four at the break. Forty two thirty six and then out. Really outfought East Carolina very game team by ten in the second half. They win that period. Forty two thirty two and ended up winning by six seventy eight seventy two we mentioned now they are tended six two and one in league play. We'll take a break.
