"Wanna give a shout out to our other listener? Bob Greene and Bob Thanks for being on board. Talks about getting those college shots. That is interesting. You gotta have an I d to get a covert shot, but you don't need one to vote. Crazy anyway. Steve Malloy joins us right now former Trump Pence EPA transition team and a member and founder of junk science dot com. And we wanted to talk about Biden's attack on the Keystone XL pipeline. The fact that this is all part of the climate change thing. And first of all, Steve, do you believe that climate change is man made? Well, Good morning. Thanks for having me. Well, I mean, we know humans affected climate. To the extent that whatever is changing, it's changing. You know, human certainly play a part. There's no question about that. Issue, though, is whether it's going to be catastrophic. That's where we part ways. Now, when it comes down to the keystone pipeline, you use the word catastrophic. Would that be catastrophic on the environment compared to what potentially could do as far as benefiting for jobs such as things like that? Well, the job benefits we're going to be immediate, right. 20,000 people work in that high pain. You know, I paid union jobs. Of course, that could be the media benefit. Uh, you know the worst case. Scenario the emissions from the extra emissions from Keystone Pipeline about to about 3/100 of a percent of global emissions, so that You know, pretty insignificant. So the answer is, you know, even if you believe in United Nations hysterical climate science Keystone Pipeline is No. Nothing Burger. Yeah. The, um But the whole thing is how in the heck did we go from the ice age out of the ice age and the only thing that could have caused it would have been dinosaur flatulence. Yeah, you gotta climb. It's always changing. And as a matter of fact, you know, within the last 1,002,000 years, it's been warmer than it is today. But of course, you know, current warming is caused by our SUVs. So we're told, And so because of that we have to destroy our economy reduce their standard of living. Risk our national security by being once again depend upon OPEC and you know countries like Russia and China, and it's just It's just gonna be a disaster, you know? Joe Biden promised he would do What he's doing now and you know, there's just no upside to it. Well, I agree with you 100% on that. But Steve, what? Your website. Website is junk science. Common people can get me on Twitter at drug science. Yeah. Junk science. Not come and Steve Malloy. Thanks for joining us on the in Tampa Bay this morning. It is interesting to think about how important the environmental issues are for some people where they think it's going to change everything. I was having a conversation with somebody over the weekend. They were talking about income inequality, income inequality, and I said, OK, great. I know it's out there. How do you fix it? And he starts the first thing he brings up. Our environmental issues, and I was like, Okay, you know, I get it. You want to save the planet? But how does that first of all bridge the divide and help income inequality? No answer, Which is there's not a name. How is that at the forefront of what they think we need to do to change this country, something that whatever you implement won't have any bearing on what we do in our lifetime. Oh, I know it's crazy. The man. It's idiotic that some people are trying to well and unfortunately the president is one of we're gonna stop that global warming and we're gonna Stop the climate change by doing all kinds of idiotic things like shutting down the Keystone XL pipeline. I don't think it's selfish for people to want everyone living right now on the Earth right now to benefit in the best way possible from having the best life they could possibly have and working on environmental issues, whether you believe in it or not. It doesn't help people that are starving on the streets right now dealing with severe poverty and other issues among that Yes, And also we're gonna have to plug all the volcanoes on the planet because they give out more than man does With all of the cars and power plants and everything. "His 33rd career game today Has Notre Dame tries to make history by winning a league championship in its first ever season playing in a conference It's a long way from this past August, when the entire college football season was in doubt and hazy and his nine fellow Notre Dame Spring Summer Workout Accountability Captain's signed and released a letter proclaiming they were confident in the procedures Notre Dame had put in place to keep them safe during the pandemic. And they wanted to play football this season. Just before we started this. I called up the SWAT team letter the noting SWAT team letter that you wrote as a group to all college presidents and athletic directors back in the summer, saying You wanted to play and you were ready to play at that time. Did you ever think that you guys would be able to have a successful this season as you had? Absolutely, um Can't say how proud I am of the our team and the guys and the coaches and everyone in the organization with facing incredible amount of challenges this year and every single one we've hit head on and Just persevered right through it. I mean, it's been awesome to watch. Close. Everyone's got together and how things group is one of a kind. We talked about it amongst ourselves. Sometimes I don't know forever be on the team as close as this team is this year, and it's incredibly special, so we knew We knew that we were working, and whenever we got the opportunity to play, we're going to give it our all and that's what he that's what we've done over 10 games that are going to continue to do for the next three. Leadership in a football team is very important. And you are now serving is another name Captain for your second consecutive year on Lee 24 players in the history of Notre Dame have served multiple seasons as captains. What have you done to earn this kind of respect from your teammates? I don't know what I've done. I think I'm just trying to show up and be the same guy every day. But I mean, the guys in the program make it easy to leave them. I think I take great pride and honor being captain and two time captain. I think all the captains that came before me. Especially on the old line like Mike and Cute Jam and Alex. Jack. Morning, all those guys Dick Barton. I mean, those guys. They're the reason I'm not where I'm at today is because I feel little follow those guys footsteps and as far as the team we have here, like I said, that's incredible. Close. These guys are easily walk best friends. So it's not hard you off the baby, should anyone. We have extremely mature group, and I think it's been an incredible honor and the blast you believe these guys over the last couple of seasons? Gotta be honest as a line. You were expected to be very good this year with all the returning veterans, But there was some question about who would step up to be a dominant running back for you. Hiring. Williams has certainly done that. 1000 11 yards so far this season, fourth highest total in the league and ninth highest in the country. Part of course, credits you guys on the line for his success. Why do you think he spent so successful? Parents, a type of Karen's an incredible teammate, Incredible player and a great guy and Yeah, Everyone knows about the run game stats, and he's 1000 yards and 10 games DOS when he's gonna He's gonna rest for a lot more of these next couple. But what, Karen? What people don't know is how good a teammate Karen is. Because if you watch the tape, and you watch Karen Step up there on the pass protection and stick his face and linebackers, chest running full speed down here. I mean, that's why Karen's a great player. I love having him back there. I trust him eventually either carry the ball and pass protection. I know he's always gonna be there to help us. I know he's always going to stick his face in there when he's asked. He's fearless and the kids just incredible football player I love Now your second leading Russia is your quarterback and fellow to time Captain Ian book who is now the winningest quarterback in Notre Dame history. What has it been like to block for and pass protect for Ian Book? I am the commune and I'm so proud of me, and I mean, like he's played all those games and undefeated at home to those kind of things I told him after that game was like, man, This is That's so awesome for you. But welcome for a zoo. Another thing like kindling is just saying about Carl. He's always gonna make us right. You know, things happen. Guys get through on every play, which are best block for him. But if there's leakage of me, he's gonna He's gonna move around this stuff up in the pocket roll. I'll make a play happen down the field, and it's just He turns a six yard loss, and therefore you are gay and like that, and that's an invaluable trait. Tab was a quarterback, and he's the reason our team so good. He's so calm back there. He's a commanding leader on the offensive puts everyone where they need to be when they need to be there. And you just know if he has the ball in his hands of play is gonna be made. You are also just one of 10 football players nationwide named the finalists for the senior Class award honoring athletes work in the community classroom on the field and the character you show on all these activities. What is this recognition mean to you? I mean these lots. It's really truly an honor to be recognized among 10. Other guys are not other guys for that award that it's I think it's a tribute to the hard work I put in not only on the field but off the field to maintain a good grades and two Work out for them to become a leader in the program. I'm I'm really proud toe represent another dame in that way, and I know it makes my parents very proud. It's special to be recognized for those kinds of things. Rematches don't happen often in college football, especially at Notre Dame. What do you take from your first game with Clemson into this rematch? What we need to do is focus on us. We focus on us what we need to do better. You look it from the first game and we let the coaches handle the game plan. You know, it's not our job to think about what comes in is gonna do. That's our coach's job. They're going to give us a plan, and we're gonna trust that planned and implemented ourselves on Saturday when we play, But for us, it's about Holding our technique and our fundamentals, making sure that if we missed a step last game or if we miss a step the week after that. It's just continuing to get better in those areas that we all can. What's the key to winning this game?.

"Said so. That was good last week was he was not a lot of people were saying. Go on i don't like the universal. Don't be locked and deleted from my time line. Abbey's you have no. It's like the yeah. Another one of those tales of dark multi came out this week. It was wonder woman wore the gods. But it's like you always know what's going to happen stuccos bad every time at least in marvel have some. There's a happy ending. There's never tells the dark multi never happy on the you wanna shout out marble because i did. Us marveled amazing spider power pad because a spy as alternate spider. Cast may mention the fantastic. Four family dynamics so compact fits that mold. And they're like kids. I wanted to see what they were going to do. With this reboot One shot. Or whatever i just saw powerpack pick it up and it's actually really cute and is this Alex and katie. Julie alex jack. They're all there but is taking place after I wanna say. Julie came back from the future foundation. I don't didn't make i don't think. Are they older or the all kids okay. Which is this is april four times story. Yeah definitely or like a renewed or something but yet like kind of like taking a back to basics as an hour workers is phenomenal by nico leon and on the writer was ryan north and dynamics. So it's you like it better team. Titans i'm a check. It out like i i'm i somehow i missed it. So we're heroes he reputation. And i can't you just know that they're going to team up with ms marvel at some point and i'm just going to be here for him. Oh yeah i was gonna say. I know what else you be picked up amazing spider man. Okay going to keep doing this order that we were in but yes you can do that then. I'll do my marvel. My last month will book. And then i'll do the big book. Sabrina course it. Is you know. Fifty three l. Are so we still spinning. Our wheels spinning our wheels but it was a delightful way to spend some time. Yeah i did enjoy the story for the most part. The clothes seeing the wheel spain. And maybe a little you know little dona burn out the sin eater more versus moorland. The monarchy pin the monarch. Mary jane but i'm interested to see what senator does with Mormon 'cause we he pulls the shotgun and then we don't see what happens next. So what's like you said it's like is he evil or is it just. He's just acting on his nature. Yeah it's it's it's it's it was cool. I just feel so bad for doctor. Strange having to put up with so many idiots all around him constantly. It's like it's magic. You don't understand. Magic just listened to the nice man who knows magic in. Do what i say. Doctor strange is the most responsible person in the room you know something's gone terribly right where they had to write them that way. Because he's he's gonna be the he's going to be the new grumpy uncle ben a kind of get this true. Yeah man spider spiderman. Movie course we gotta start making more doctor strange links. The spiderman yes. Of course yes. Well you know and to be fair since. We're probably going to get more of that. You know web of the of fake kind of stuff and ultimate stories and you know maybe we're going to have to have someone put on that spider man costume but not daredevil because it won't look right but maybe we'll get cindy moon in spite of mankind and double hesitant problems. Yes he has. Lots of prompts. Yeah i enjoyed the book. It was good that you know. Here's the thing. This is what. I'm going to say the fact that they're going into this dreamscapes that it's clearly messed up. It could just be messed up because parker's messed up. You know like nothing happens in. This book actually takes away from anything that i've said about Francis crump it makes you think it does because no is engaging their demons series of course her demons. Here it's peter parker's mindscape you think. We know the guy admitted to the team. So it's not like the that. Taking the form of mary jane who inside to the demon like she's just always there. I guess she's here because it's a special day. She's always here and peter's hopped up on on psychedelic so his brain isn't a weird place so obviously is influence on his miskel level is going to get exacerbated but that does not mean that the very real world francis klum explanation could not still be there and just it's just enough whereas like you know this is actually just just really. Oh look at this kind of so. See this maidens. Everything's real like bus but does it though you know that's the thing that's coming back to even the singer making people suddenly like not evil anymore. That totally sounds like they just weaponized. Zanex feel like doing you anymore. I don't know what he's weaponized xanax. And all your rage angered that he. S little kryptonite. Exactly but no. I mean you read it last week to write love. Yeah so as harry osborn been like supernatural supposedly since he came back and brand new day is they're going for me it makes it kinda sorta edges wish there were more breadcrumbs to make it. So i could go with that. It will make sense like a red con. So it's you know there's only so many bread way they come breadcrumb it. When you do a rat kind you should naturally kind like tried to take from some bread crumbs our left behind like that's just my former riding when i'm doing fancy barn fat but again if it's only if you take this at face value because as an example within this where he is doesn't necessarily have to be in the mindscape or even in a mystical place it really could have been. He went to because you went without doctor. He's not with the person that actually knows how to get around this place. So it's very easy. He got pulled into remember just to even put that extra layer on it. This is a world where magic. It's kind of a science as we as we're seeing in the iron man but right now with the return of quarterback in everyone like oh. We worship the great coming of the quarterback. You know it's like we don't even know what's magic or science anymore. So the fact that francis come might find these ways in or ways to make it look like something that it's not much in the way that doctor doom who is a petty dabbler of of magic as everybody thinks he's like the world's sorcerer when he's not he's a dropout you know it don't don't don't put away france columbia but i will.

"A team as athletic and long just takes a toll on your body physically every game, but we really tried to get out in transition. Even if it wasn't transition. It was early offense attack. Also. So which really got him going down here? Christian Big coach of just what was your message to the team after after tonight's loss, And what was the mood in the locker room after everything? Yeah, tone Christian that in times like these me as an individual, I lean into gratitude. And that I was extremely thankful to have the opportunity to coach him too thankful for our performance group for getting those guys ready to play thankful for each every person in that locker room from whether they made appear butter and jelly sandwich whether they've got a uniform ready, whether they made a free throw that we don't know what's going to exist in the future. And so I hope that they've learned one thing is that you take advantage of the now Hey, Jack, Uh, before you guys went down to Orlando sure marks, I think said that it wouldn't be fair to judge you on wins and losses given Stay in the roster. Obviously, next year, the roster thinks gonna change. You guys used to get Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving back. You know that there's uncertainty with the coaching situation. But do you think that you would be a good coach for Durant, Irving and whatever the team looks like next year? But I am confident is my skill set as a coach, my ability to communicate and have relationship with guys. My Billy to. Ah, just adjust on the fly. Ah, just with individuals, those things I'm very comfortable with comfortable at this stage of my career of having voicing choice for my players very comfortable at this stage in my career of having Truth and transparency with management very comfortable in my career of having a caring confidence level with performance. There s o. Those things hopefully were showcased. But at the end of the day, I'm very comfortable with all of those aspects. Greg Jack you mentioned before the uncertainty that the whole league faces about next season, and then you throw in all the changes that are gonna happen with this franchise. So how valuable do you think it would be to maintain for the franchise domains in some form of consistency with you? And then also, how would you describe your relationship with the Kyrie and Katie A TTE this point I think the biggest attribute is having the emotional skill. Teo lied. Not longer yourself the lead others asses, especially with uncertainty. I said before, Greg, my my relationship with the guys who aren't here in the bubble remains consistent. The conversations the text or messaging or phone, not only with the two that you named but the other guys on the roster. On DH. For me, That's important. My role right now is head coach and I tried to serve every inch of that capacity. Last question for coach Alex. Jack. I know this is immediate, but this season obviously started in China with everything that happened there at the time. And then you know the coaching change all the injuries. You guys have the pandemic. I guess just what we remember from this season and and, you know, I guess since you already have kids of your grand kids would ask you had some of this season, but we just immediately come to mind given for like, what better word, Just all the craziness that has happened for you guys since October. Well, hopefully this was ah paradigm shift towards conversation about social change. Hopefully this was an opportunity with my kids. Remember that their dad was able to talk to a group of man not only about basketball but about life and hopefully they are extremely proud of the Ray. I represented the organization. There are a lot of things that go hand in hand. And, uh uh, Next. I'm extremely grateful, man. I just know this time in my life. You just don't know what it's gonna look like going forward, and I'm being Dr King's last book in And he was talking about Some of the change that will and and light and should happen, and we're still in the area where we're trying to make those things, Uh, change and so a lot of work needs to be done. I think there's a social element to it. But the game of basketball is a beautiful games. I love being a brown have my life in this MBA, and, uh, hopefully more many more years to come. Thank you, Coach. Appreciate your time is always okay, guys, be well. Well, said by John on pointing out, you know everything that had gone on. But you know, talking about the message that a lot of the players had expressed concern would get lost. By the embassy, restarting And Momenta MME that the That they had gotten for the movement of social Change in this country. Much of it that went on just a few 100 yards outside this this see where we are right now out of the Plaza here at Barclay Center. We saw everything that went on and your job on was ah, he was He was terrific during the time in Orlando with remember when John Lewis Passed away. He showed a video about John Lewis. We've talked about that about the importance of voting. Jaguar is is a guy who Ah, University of Kansas had like a 3.9. I mean, he's a He's a very bright man, and he's a he's a terrific example. Especially for young black men who play this game and want to be socially conscious. Jean Quan is a role model for those people, and I think he That's an aspect of it. I think that you can't overlook in terms of looking for a new coach for this team next year. I think a guy like Jack Vaughn being a role model for the kind of players you have in that locker room. I don't think you could ignore that is a factor. I think it's a factor, and I think he has a chance. I think that other people They will be exploring a lot other coaches and it will be a thorough but he could. He's done enough that if say, plan A or B or whatever didn't work. I don't know He goes right to the top. They're going to do a lot of investigating, and a lot of chips may follow their ways. There's other jobs opening right now. But I know that I don't know. You never know how guys going to do? Ah, in a position over the long haul. You just never know. You just don't know when a guy has. But you do know what a terrific man he is, and you get that automatically was Jack it and you just wonder how it's all going to play out, were we Have a look. You know, we care about the entire staff because they're involved in where we know them enough So you tend to root for them. But this is a business and there'd be a lot of people and if you know other individuals have an interest It's going to come down a lot of communication talking and deciding, But Jack wanted not hurt himself in Orlando. In fact, you helped themselves. No, absolutely not. And you know, we'll see what happens. We're going to take a quick time out. We'll come back with Mohr. Perhaps some of the other players come to the podium as well. The Raptor, finish off the sweep of the Nets and will doom or the post game right after this on the fancy sports.

"Over the Nets were here from Nets head coach John von in just a moment here down. In Orlando. Name. Willard had 42 points. 25 for CJ McCollum in 22 for use of Nurkic. Natural, led by Carris Lordy at 37 19 apiece for Harris and the Mo Tae Luca Bro Harris did come up with a three to go to 60 consecutive games. With a maid three pointer and it came in the second half a game that was just absolutely terrific. A terrific game featured 18. Lee changes 11 ties in the game. Came battle final moments. Caris Levert had the ball in his hands in the final seconds. No time out, went one on one with CJ. McCollum took it down the lane. Mr Runner and the Blazer season will continue and here is the head coach of the next Jack Vaughn. We will start off with Tom down. Asia. Obviously, a must win for Portland. But you guys really matched their urgency and intensity. How did this game work for you guys? Justus a prep for the playoffs yet, Tom, the perfect game for us to be a baby into a close game. We talked about the progression going into the playoffs to get our Guys quality minutes being a meaningful game where there was an outcome that we have a chance to decide so very impressive effort by our guys, especially knowing that Portland had A lot weighing on this game. So really give our guys a lot of credit for Valley all night, Kristen. Hey, Coach critic. You just talk about the night they caress had aside from that last second shot just seemed like he was bending that Portland defense to his will. What did you see from out there and talk about what you saw. Yeah, He had a really great place about him. I think overall, he was surveying the defense and get into a spice Christian was pull up also makes you an attack in the rim and so long that balance of trains for himself, getting out in transition, get into the paint and just making the right plate and no better person to have the ball in his hands in that situation. And I got a good look and glad he shot the ball. Alex. Jack. I got I got too few. If you could just touch on your offensive rebounding mean there was a possession for you guys had three or 43 or four opportunities at baskets. And then just you talk too much about, you know, want to give caress opportunities to get into his bag. Morris is you would turn. I mean, is this kind of what you had envisioned tonight? When you had said that a few weeks ago. I think it was. Let's go. Offensive rebound give TOC GT and J a lot of credit full of battling on imposing their will on on the offensive rebounds, Crucial rebounds that we gained. Give ourselves some opportunity at the end of the game on then chairs, you know. We still get cost 30 assists tonight. Two more balls dropping for us. We hit the 30 clip again. Al exists balance of being able to let players do what they do. And not interfere and not complicate things. Positions where we got a guy that has five files on their team, and we're gonna jacket and so the team believes in cares and what he's accomplished the work he's put in and so this opportunity for him to Show not only his teammates but the rest of the league. The work that he's put in the work and honors in the achievements that he deserves. Go ahead. You were so complimentary of day and before the game you knew what he could do offensively. You've been around the game a long time. Having seen it up close now, how would you put into context? His performance tonight and what he's been able to string together here in the bubble. You know the things that we had to do to stop this the ultimate compliment from full court zones, Tio have zones, Tio running traps. Tio Listen, Basketball, So we gave him the full boat tonight. And what a compliment with a player. Hi is changing the game the ability to cross half court and shoot the basketball with ease and accuracy. You give him a lot of credit. "The Nets will play the Toronto Raptors in the playoffs. That's because they beat the Clippers here, so they have a 2.5 game lead on Orlando for the seventh spot. Only two games remaining, so doesn't matter. What they do against the Magic doesn't matter what they do in the final game against the Trail Blazers. The Nets are going to play the Raptors in the first round. The Raptors have wrapped up the number two seed. And the Nets tonight with the victory over the Clippers. They've already beaten the Bucks, the number one seed in the East. They beat now the Clippers the number two seed in the West. As you put it out, they beat the Lakers right before the The brake. And they were the top seed in the West. And right now let's hear from the head coach who's now six into as a head coach with the Nets. It's chock Vaughn. Good to go. Right. We'll start off with Tom down. Jack. You know, locking up that seven seed tonight. How would you describe not just what you saw tonight, but just really This team has done over the last week, winning four out of five t kind of get to this point. You're really showing a competitive spirit about his time, which is awesome to see a group of guys that are jelling together appreciate each other. And are really plan extremely hard, and it's fun to be a part of Brian For you to come out shooting the way that you guys did. 18 21 1st off. What did you guys see defensively that you were able to take advantage of, and How much did that kind of settled guys into the game and just give them even more conference? Around. We had a good pace about us, and it began again. Overall, We were really trying to be their aggressors and dictate the action cares, really put his foot down on the pedal, early games and confidence. And then overall, we just Continue to execute eyes great to see this team weather storms and be able to answer a lot of questions. Alex. Jack. You've talked a lot in the bubble about ball movement. Letting care is kind of get into his bag and do his thing. You know, personnel based guys sticking with their good It seems like tonight was the Epitome of everything you've been talking about throughout the past few weeks. Is this what you envisioned as as this offense looking like at its best, especially in that first quarter, when you guys put up 45 Like some will continue to give the guys traded. You know, 30 to assist tonight, a sharing the basketball. The ball was moving against very athletic and and long team on, then we have the mix of care is being able to use his one on one game to set up some options for us. Joe Harris ability to make shots and create movement and the guy's Tio come off the bench and feed off of that. And so I think guys are starting to feel when they could get the shots from How they can help each other and the best part of it is they're doing it together now. Hey, coach. This is now three championship, contending teams that you've been able to take down in the Lakers, the books and the Clippers. Obviously, the box and the Clippers were a little shorthanded. But is there something about these title contending teams that gets you guys up in terms of wanted to go out there and compete and second, he just talked about Tyler Johnson when he was able to do out there on the bench? I think overall guys look forward Tio plane, the high profile teams and players in this league and our guys were extremely ready tonight. Best take away for us, I think is we were able to put back to back games together where we really executed on both ends of the floor only game of 26 points in the fourth and then had 32 assists of that combination says the guys were really locked in. And then Tyler's ability Teo to come in and impact the gang. You know, he gives us a secondary ball. Hell, it's um it's tough to press is at times and then also he has ability to create shots builders out more than a few times with. Ah, tough three getting found, and so hey has the savvy and moxie To get things done, especially down the stretch. Last question, Tom. Jack, What have you seen from caress his last two games, moving in more into that point Guard role and just really controlling the offense and managing those double team. The teams run out. Yeah, I told him. It's a total signed of respect and you have to commending for accepting the double team and this is great practice for him the ability to make decisions under stress. It's just a stress test. And so he's passing the test and you see the growth of Jared Allen's for the billions for us to get the ball out of the double team, and then Teo make the defense pay. Bye, Bob Movement and shooting threes so overall growth from multiple individuals. All right. That's Jack Vaughn, using the word moxie always described Tyler Johnson so big shots for Tyler Late in this game. We'll talk about it. When we come back at Beacon. It's radio on the way to reach us on Twitter as we continue. After the Nets victory over the Clippers won 29 to 1 20 on the fans for Trujillo, 66 1 of 19 FM. Wf AM when.

"Here are your hosts Chris Carino and Tim Caps Straw. That's the Sacramento Kings. A final score of 1 19 106 We're gonna hear from Head coach John von. In just a moment, 22 points for Laverne. 21 for Harris 17 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists. For Jared Allen. The eight assists a career high for him. Nets had 30 assists on 42 made field goal shot 48.8% held the king's 2 42.7% shooting, including just 30% from three. Kings team that really can Score, and the Nets did a good job defensively, and this game again was a 17 point lead. It was 16 points in the third quarter. Kings came storming back to cut it to four with 3.5 to go in the third quarter, and then the Nets took over from there. Garrett Temple, showing some leadership came in made some big buckets did a good job but close out the third quarter scene with the difference and it did. And it was at that period of time when you avert was off the floor with the fourth fall, So you felt like momentum was really shifting. Garrett Temple made timely place Joe Harrison outstanding game also, all right. Here is the head coach TV job. You all right? Start off with Brian Lewis. Ah, just can you touch on? I guess how much this means to of Ah, clinched playoff berth, and I guess also, to a lesser extent. I mean, that was a quality bounce back performance by you guys just Explain what kind of Ford do you guys show it and coming back like that? Yeah. Huge amount of grit and together this shown to respond from a disappointing outing last time and to answer the way we did from the beginning of the game. We were locked in focus and straight to, you know, punch on ticket into the playoffs joke with the guys I liked by launching being done, but Nothing like doing your own laundry. So well, we took care of business tonight and give credit to our guys were playing extremely well. Alex. Jack, would you think of Jarod's game? He seemed to get going early, then. I mean, you know, to offer triple double a career high for him. Would you think of his passing tonight? Yeah, He was great. Hey, was a force force inside defensively, First of all, patrolling the rim. They were struggling to get to the rim early in the game. That was really because of Jay and its ability to Ah, Compromise their defense on office of Rebound. And so he was the force tonight and then it extremely unselfish, So he's learning how to continue to play with his teammates. What's available and just the instincts are sinking in, and it's good to see you. Christian Hey, Coach up Joe. Another night for Joe 57 from down Sound just talk about what it does for the offense when he's on fire the way he is from down south like he wants to know your Christian. You see 30 assists, so that's something we were disappointed in last game. This is not our first time with 30 will continue to try to reach that number. But overall job makes the defense react and so whether it's him. Haven't paced to shoot a pull up three or is cutting ability of the defense has the honor. You saw Jared got a lob after a time I played because the defense was something to to Joe and so his ability to Really draw the defense issues for for us. Come on, let's go ahead. Hey, Jacques. Congratulations on getting in. They say You've mentioned the assist a couple of times, at least down here. What's it say to you that I mean, after all, this group has gone through. You don't have guys looking to get theirs. You do. It seems like you have a pretty unselfish group. When guys could very easily go the other way. What's that save you about the character in that room? I told agree with your temper easily could go the other way, And this group has not given into that. It says a lot about the group that they are. They see the challenge ahead of them know that they can Meet the challenge by doing it together. That's how we left the locker room together, saying that's the difference. We want to stay healthy and whole, and we'll need every body so It's been great to see.

"Our website we know is down the partner side of the page we had a malware attack very early this morning I didn't find out until three thirty this morning when I try to upload my commentary very important commentary too by the way that I tried to upload this morning realized that things were down I immediately got hold of our server team they let me know they had already known and already had worth thirty minutes into trying to of repair and and get things up and running again so when we understand that so you don't have to email me you have to call Darlene I got the email Pat you don't have to do any of that we are well aware of it was a male attack malware attack again that happens very early this morning so we're we're trying to get it taken care of as quickly as we can so anyway I want to throw that out there because I'm sure Pat is getting inundated with emails anyway six ten three six three eleven ten if you want your call now's a good time to do that but six seven three six three eleven ten all right so anyway we'll see what's going to happen but we have to understand that all the states that are going to be in trouble look some of the states are are living and working all also shoot you know on a shoestring there are many money the federal government is going to have to go in and give them eight just like now they don't want to listen to the federal government they don't care about president trump most of the states that are in trouble but that's okay we'll do it anyway and what will have to send them the money are to help out and mismanaged state state so are that but that's all coming that's all coming to the national debt and without me going down a rabbit trail that I'd really like to go down but I won't in talking about the debt and this and the states anyway we we have to understand Zacks there's a couple things going on right now we are entering it's time that we have massive dead the dead is growing in in that speed in which we had never expected primarily due to this virus and just you know for the record let me say it was growing anyway before the virus at a very rapid pace you'll remember that I stayed and I wrote and it was published in town hall I think if you were to go back and find it on our website talking about this day and the inability to fix this day through gross I indicated that that notion of trying to fix the debt to gross was gone in early two thousand thirteen maybe end of two thousand twelve it's not possible now not mathematically possible it is going to happen and you need to understand that we are very very close to reaching a point of no return and this is going to be adding to all that debt I know that it is no fault of anybody's but it's going to continue to add to the national debt we cannot will not be able to grow our way out of it we need people like Steve Mnuchin and other parts of the economic team which refused apparently to speak upon this that we're not we're not we're not going to grow our way out of this they need desperately to have every Alex Jack they need to come to that awareness very quickly I don't know if that is possible because in order for them to come to that awareness we're gonna be forced to do something about it now number one we can never get out of any kind of national debt if we don't have a growing economy one of the reasons why we got into all this debt was I'll be gone in the last two to three years of president bush's presidency taking the eye off the economy off the debt there were a lot of reasons why some most very legitimate reasons but none the less we had no GDP growth to speak up for eight years during the Obama administration we had no GDP growth last summer said well yeah we had GDP growth every year one point eight percent by the way it's the first president in the history of the nation that is ever never will again probably preside over eight straight years of below two percent GDP growth that's you know that's one of his that's part of his legacy whether present Obama likes it or not so when you look at the average was one point eight nine or something like that GDP growth they're not my numbers are government numbers go day gets called BLS dot gov and you'll see that but look at the very end and by the way one point eight I'm gonna say this two point five two point eight every year is not growth in my opinion it's still negative growth because we need to and a half percent GDP growth just to maintain the economy that we're living in at that time if it's a lousy economy we needed to maintain that lousy economy to keep her from getting any worse it's a great economy we need at least to maintain that great economy may not get better but we need to maintain anything below that is a negative growth for all practical purposes well nobody else says that I understand that I understand that but the only reason I can give for that is they don't want to or they haven't figured out how to do the math I don't know they used to say it all the time years ago now and said nobody says it but that's the fact do not have any growth in GDP so if you're gonna grow your way out of the you need about twelve percent twelve and a half a percent growth in GDP every single year for about nine years with the debt free scene where it is right now for us not to get out of debt in a very and in a lot of years from now not gonna happen there's only when what we know we can't ever get out of debt there's no hope if we don't have growth in the economy we know that I've been saying that for years we've gotta be growing the economy we're not growing the economy we're never gonna get out to get that that's number one but now it's not close alone and can't be gross hello we gotta have cuts and somebody's going to have to make some hard decisions to cut every single department all of the federal government maybe with the exception of defense every single department hi Debbie slashed some departments have to be done away with they have to ferret out all the duplicity that their department is doing this so is another department doing the same thing and so on and so forth that is got to happen if that doesn't happen we don't have cuts in the size of our government which in the minds of politicians that is to say you are cutting our power and we don't want that we are losing our social control we don't want that that's a big problem but it's the only way at this point we get out of it yes there is another way which I suspect we are going to have and I've never said this before because I was probably living in a little bit of a Twilight Zone thinking that just being overly optimistic that we were going to do this and I was never going to have to happen but I would say in the next twelve months now women twelve mines from I'm gonna say twelve months from July or August twelve ounce months out we are going to have to seriously consider a dramatic devaluation of our currency our currency is growing just strange that we haven't seen maybe ever for a very long time we will make another prediction while I'm at it we will begin to see inflation in the next two years now I am going and looking very hard at some changing strategies and some preparedness first place is for you to move some of your investments over the next six months is gonna be on my website and let me just say I'm not going to talk about it but you had better listen to all of my all you know the audio that I'm putting in my commentary section better listen to that every day because that's where it's going to be first revealed some of that's going to be revealed probably tomorrow as I was leading up to it today which I never got to post on the website because of the problem with the website show died that is going to be I'm gonna be talking about that tomorrow and in the days to come and you need to pay attention I don't I am not going to say this is the time you need to be a part I'm I can't be worried about anymore partners I'm concerned over the tens of thousands of partners that we have right now I'm not gonna lose any more sleep over partners that come on there are no that's fine that's great and I hope but it's it's going to be difficult for you to grasp a lot of things of what I'm saying and not have been a partner for the last six months or eight months but it's up to you I mean you can partner if you want R. and try to get up to speed as quickly as you can and try to get some help but look I know there are going to be lots of scenarios out there what you ought to do not now not in the next six months but a year from now I would suspect that those scenarios a year from now are going to be too late for most because I think of the scenarios that I'm trying to build now and some of those are already too late and I think I'm ahead of the curve big time because nobody else is talking about this I'm only ahead of the curve because I'm thinking about and working on it for so long somebody emailed me this morning and said have you noticed and they named for people that have said the same thing I said earlier this week and last week I said I did notice yes thank you.

"Stocks are on the scoreboard here on mother's day. But still trail four to one as we go to the bottom of the seventh inning. And it's going to be Bobby Poynter coming in. You'll relieve Jeremy Blache. So the left-hander pointer interest face the top of the batting order rep yellower Tyga Andres Blanco in Austin riling. Place went two innings gave up just one hit. But it was the home run to Alex jacks. Walk in strikeout place will not win it or lose it right now that be teddy stink wits taking the. You went the first four innings, plus the now it's pointer Bobby against the left ended Intergraph Aiello Ortega. I pitch in their strike one. Mike Monico Bobby had a much welcomed. Good outing here the other night. Yeah. A cleaning eleven pitches that he threw after me hadn't worked full inning and his previous couple outings or take Ortega's. Oh for two of the walk and he swings through the high fastball. Good one from Bobby nothing into in total ten appearances coming into today at the AAA level and even six Yara in twelve innings with eleven walks. So is encouraging to see he didn't walk. Anyone Friday to pitch is very high fastball show to our tak-. Ref AL through throughout a runner at home plate from right field. Earlier today that was really important play in this game. The one to swinging a high deep foul right field side that he pulled sturgeon over giving it a look, but that ball sales onto the walkway just shy of the foul pole and the count remains one. Volunteer strikes. The sun is trying to peek through the overcast clouds. Now that I really didn't think we'd see today here sunshine, but it is at the moments Bobby pointers one to David side. Did he swing his bet? No, he did not it was certainly out of the strike zone. But in Raphael or Tegas paste to get out of the way of it is battle those went through. In the end it didn't. So it's doing too. Ortega was in the big leagues with the Marlins last year. So bitch swing and a miss struck him out with a fastball ninety miles an hour. That good starts to the appearance for Bobby much ninety away a lot of pulse after some searching earlier this road trip so much. So that we saw a few curveballs from just fastball. Change him. Andres blunt coats of the plate with a pink bat in his Blanco has tripled and doubled and scored two out of the foregoing. Ed runs sue for three these swings. Pops foul that'll get back out of play. Up at Fenway. The Red Sox trying to complete their series of the Seattle. Mariners this afternoon it sixty to Boston in the sixth inning. A one bitch fell back by block that game would be fifth consecutive victory for Alex cora's team if they hold. Five innings from Hector. Alaska's is longest downing white some time going back to April of last season. They weren't even sure he keeps his spot in the rotation before yesterday. Oh to pitch to block lined into Rachel base. If that was the change up for Bobby Poynter, and Blanco waited on it and served it like he was using tennis ratchet. Able to just nudge. It you the Raeside which for him. There was the opposite field. Andres Blanco has eight hits in this series. He is being for thirteen. Socks will be happy that we'll have to see him again, at least until next Friday. But now here comes Austin Riley for three against the first two pitchers today. Stanko Whitson Blache. One on one out the bitch is high ball one and a four to one lead. Bottom of the seven. Markaz Walden relieved Ecuador Velazquez at Fenway. Walden has five wins one. Oh pitch. That's a strike Riley took it up in a way. He didn't like it. He still doesn't like talking to Alex does the fire one in four to one Gwinnett lead. Raise your hand if you had Marcus Walden leading American League relievers in victories. This wing in a high pop foul. First base side can be gives it a look that. He'll run out of ball sales up that San rose into the seats and pointer head of Riley wanted to. Vaulted five and with an area of one seventy seven coming into that outing. He's already pitched a perfect inning against the Mariners six to two Red Sox there. Batting in the sixth. Four to one Gwinnett here. Trying to sweep the series before Pawtucket flies home, the one to swing gonna miss. Bobby Poynter blows a fastball past Rylance? To punch outs of Bobby. And that brings up a clean out of devolved. I was talking to Kevin Walker when we are on the road at buffalo about Marcus Walden. He was wondering what Mark is Walden. Head just done in the Red Sox game because he was getting some texts from some writers said eight can you talk about Marcus Walton? And what he's done the last few seasons. We told them. Yeah. Three shutout innings again from Walden. Duvall has the big swing today. Two run Homer Deary is jammed at pops fell back over the screen pointer came into the rate ended hitter with a fastball. Lobbies are legit goods that hit ninety one on the go. Sun shines. On a Sunday in Georgia pasta cts if they lose they'll have lost h straight games in this ballpark. Dating back over three years. Runner at first base Blanco. A one pitch perfect fastball place right over the outside black and its own to do vault. Duval in this series is now three for eleven. But all three of the hits gone for extra bases. Two homers. A double. Go into here. Austin Riley's two homers in this series. Duval's it to Alex Jackson, sit too. Those are the three four five hitters in David. Barry hills order going to exit nine is a team view pitches. High away wanted to. They have mashed the PawSox not quite into submission, but on the verge of a three game sweep. Bobby Poynter has signed for most gar. Hernandez to out and other ones who pitched divall swings and misses at a high heater lobby winners strengths out the side job. And that was pretty much all fastball. You usually see so many more changes, but he stayed with number one in strands runner, we go onto the that's Pataki's four Boorda one. See if they have a rally here today, Georgia the PawSox radio that were..

"Matthew, canton is I AAA start of this season. And only the second of his career was able to get through five scoreless innings, but then he gave up a walk to Andres Blanco and Austin Riley line to home run out so left tied this game. And now it is Trevor Kelly who's coming into pitch. Our pre game guest here tonight on the PawSox radio network. It was Kelly. Telling us what each think things about his side, arm style, and he is into pitch. Nobody out nobody on the cleanup batter. Adam Duvall coming up. Matthew can't ends up going five innings plus a couple of Adar's gives up five hits and two runs. Each earth's Duval up there the first pitch from Kelly. He whips in fastball for strike one from that side arm ocean. Adam Duvall as popped out and walked only one strikeout for cancer. He walked three. Won't be involved in the decision though. Once we fly ball, the left is there only a couple of steps has left and he makes the catch Duval retired by Trevor Keller. What a way. Total of eighty one pitches for Matthew get fully to forty nine of those eighty one for stress. It was hot offense coming in that Gwynedd has they hit five overs last night. And a wonder if Billy mcmillen is sitting in that dugout thinking, boy, I probably could have gone to Kelly one battery earlier with that huge threat Austin Riley up Trevor Kelly is been so so good. This is eleventh outing of the year two in one and a one three five ERA, Alex Jackson swigging, high Detroit center fielder that Trump's way back per just watching that is. My plants when maybe four hundred forty feet. Alex jackson. Catcher. It's a solo home run the second of the for the stripers again, they are using along ball. They lead free to. Jelly tried to get ahead on Jackson. St. high that was cluber out of this yard my goodness. That was one of the furthest ones that we've seen in a series rather have been plenty now floor up there hacking, and he fails back for speech out of play. Just getting you the numbers on the side right hander Trevor Kelly. Thirteen and two thirds innings. That's only the second home runs allowed all year. Fell's another one out of play. He's betting left for the first time tonight. After facing the left-hander met Kant's first couple of times he went one for two with a single last inning. Two one outpaces empty and three runs are in. Three to stripers to pitch over the inside corner. That's the cutter there from Kelley, which has he told you in the pre-game show is a new pitch for him that he's using lifted. Got floor vote to look at it for strike three. So two. Here comes the designated hitter. Travis demerits for Alex Jackson the catcher that was his fifth home run in thirteen game since being option for the big leagues. All these stripers. Get hit it out Goldstrike one to two merit. He flew out to the warning track in left center last time, he's for to all of that against Matthew kits. You one outside fastball from Kelley one ball one strike. Travis said that Bobby Poynter was helping teaching the cutter pitches slider. That's way outside to one. So now he kept come at you from the side arm angle with a fastball cutter the frisbee slider. Anna change to one swing his fastball. Their past demerits to to. Sox led the whole game until this sixth inning. Three runs in though. It's three two two stripers home runs from Austin Riley. Alex jacks. The two demerits swings. The foul play out of the right field. So what it has? Now. It's seven homers in this series loss. If free. I mean. You're looking at a whole new ballgame. Pardon the pun in the international league this year in homers this series to high away at it is going to go to a full counts. Two demerits. Trevor Kelly trying to keep the deficit at just one. Here's his three two demerits wings. Roles at the third base line fair ball behind the bag backhanded by witty he'll throw all the way across..

Let me say this. I hope that all these snobby prick golfers that have all the money in the world are exposed for being Douches. Okay. I I really hope that they're all exposed because they all deserve it. And again, I'm not saying I would imagine ninety eight percent of these PJ players are good guys. Now is tarnished with the fact that people are always going to remember him as a cheapskate. Yeah. Was he a great golfer? Sure. Did he choke in majors? Yes. He did. But he is always going to remember it is the guy that tried to stiff this gatty. There's also something else. You got to think about every single other player. That's won a tournament has had to pay that ten percent, right. Well, they all have different agreements, but I can guarantee if someone who wins over a million dollars doesn't catty fighting. But they've they've had to pay that extra hour. Lutely, absolutely. As far as Kuchar. Not not winning a lot of tournaments will get better, John. Hey, john. We will. We will look into that story. And if it is true, I promise you we will continue to talk about that. All right. Appreciate it. All right. You know, Michael, Jordan and Tiger Woods. I mean, you reach out on a little bit just to give you a quick story. Michael Jordan comes in, you know, in Vegas development run for the hills. Most people. Michael, jordan. The opposite way. Tiger wood trouble getting help because you're gonna get the big step. John, john. I've got a very good friend in Chicago that plays a lot of golf with Michael. Because Michael belongs about four or five clubs. They're all really nice, and my friend who's an attorney their beats them like a drum. Okay. They'll they'll beat them for you know, for four or five grand around or something like that. So when they're walking off the eighteenth hole. You know as Michael is walking away with his entourage. He's gonna go. Hey, John next week double or nothing never puts his hand in his pocket. Never pays them. It's incredible. Yeah. John, you're right. John. Thanks for the call, by the way. We appreciate it. Good call. And and we're gonna look into this Alex shakeup story because if that's true. That's that's not a good look for him. Let's go to JD, by the way that the phone lines are open to five seven five three nine six nine J D. Our caller JD. Lower lower your radio there JD help us out. That's okay. Twenty-one? Go ahead. Couple years back. Doug sanders. I don't know if you remember him used to wear orange pants. They call them the peacock conquer the fairway fairway. I had the good fortune of seeing him in foster Brooks in an old timers tournament at the desert inn at the driving range and Sandra trying to bet people one hundred dollars and five hundred dollars. He could hit the car guy, and he would miss every time. Well, here's the story told us he said, you know, back then he said, we didn't make a lot of money, but we hung out together all night long, drinking what my buddy foster books and so forth. He said Sam Snead won the tournament in Miami. And he says we talked to this as we all got together. Three of us in Sam. And we're driving to Texas to the next tournament. Stopping along the way to get some gas. And I went to the bathroom. And when I come out Sam was yelling at that gas at ten. He said, I told you get a dollar from him a dollar. Oh my God. That's funny. That is why one of the famous coach by Doug Sanders. Also is because I've had him on my show Culver times, easy, Israeli a delightful guy. But he said Dennis the only time when I was playing tournament golf the only time I left the middle of the fairway was to walk over to the ropes. Get a phone number from. Yeah. I mean. He was worth the price of admission along with foster Brooks, we can't. Japan. I appreciate the story. That's a good story. Man, right away. One quick then. Yeah. I mentioned about those guys that that stole sixty five guns. The magistrate a gal name, Nancy copay GOP. Yes. Off on their own reconnaissance, even though they found the guns in their apartment. Well, that's pure stupidity. And I don't think any rational person with. Thank you for that update. I don't thank you for the call JD. I don't think any rational person would agree with that. That's just absolutely insane. We're we're talking a lot about gun control yesterday because of those the one year anniversary of that horrible high school shooting barrel. And so we we had a couple of good guests on talking about gun control to five seven five three nine six. Let's go to Steve Steve thanks for calling in. How are you? I just wondered to remind now you guys have you know, he is he s. Or whatever you said. And then you've given time man. One of these guys are a car accident a back injury away in the careers gone. So what does that have to deal with a pitcher? Then what does that have to deal with it? I Steve with all due respect to do with your. So I'm not gonna take care. Hold on. Let me just let me just name. Okay. Steve steve. Let's let's let's try to man. That's why the lady hung up is. Because you actually she didn't hang out to give you an opposition trying to have a debate with you right now. Would you like to have a debate? I know what you're talking. Let's let's have a conversation that are you willing to have a conversation. Steve are you just going to call me names and hang up to? That's what you do talk. Okay. Okay. Okay. Steve. Fine. Steve. Now. Steve. You don't know what his? Stephen. We'll say one thing here all these golfers have their careers, insured. There's steve. Insurance companies you can't buy a policy that's gonna Gary. So Steve, according to go out, you're out Steve first of all what player like Matt Kuchar has gotten into a serious situation where his career is over can you name three in the last one hundred years name Tomba? Let's hear it. How many? Player's name the players. Give me three right now. Give you three would look how he's Tiger Woods is back making a lot of money. Excuse me. Tiger Woods just wanna turn excuse me. Tiger Woods just wanna tournament a few months ago, and he just made nine and a half million dollars. Splitting they must be honest. Guy can't be an Jamie and other player, namely another player. Name me another player that it is career. Tiger Woods is wrong. Gimme another one. You just said, you just guess what? John under the bus when you know Steve career. Football. Europe off my shell. You're Steve you are nothing, but a prick get off my shelf moron. You're telling me if you win one point three million dollars your defense that as well. I'm going to get my caddie five thousand dollars because I'm Steve, and you know, what I might get into a car accident. So my career might be over tomorrow. So I'm going to be a cheapskate and getting there's a chance that Steve is related to make sure I'm Steve you know, what my waiter is is serving as possible. His last name. My name is Steve the waiter might be serving me today, and it's a three hundred dollar Bill. I'm only gonna give my waiter five dollars because you know, what? Life could be over tomorrow. And I wanna make sure I have. Give it to my family. I'm fine with the gripe. But at least be able to name three to five. He's a prick and not back it up. Steve. Of course. I knew I could trap them in car. The guy has absolutely no idea. What the hell? He's talking about Andy's skate. Steve, you're a cheapskate. Everyone runs from you at the valet. You're a cheapskate. Can you believe there are idiots out there like Steve that he's trying to rationalize this five thousand dollars because he claims Kuchar might get into an accident and loses life or career? I just think that Steve wanted to insult somebody today. The only person he embarrassed was himself. I. That he was sticking up for what's name. First of all he said that the other caller hung up. That's not. For a liberal to five seven five three nine six. Let's go to Jeff Jeff. Thanks for calling in what's up, Jeff. Hey, how you guys doing? Just wonderful wonderful. I gotta say I only I've listened to the show a couple of times. And and almost every time you're calling people names this crate, Jeff, you're a very nice person. I would never call you a bad name you sound like a very intelligent caller. And thank you so much for calling in. I would let my kids, you know, stay with you because you seem like a very responsible parent and a good person. No, my my kids are in the car with me. What the heck is going on on the radio telling your kids? Wanted to call. Maybe you gotta tone it down with the name calling and stuff. Las vegas. So let me ask you a question Jabba with all due respect. Jim with Jeff. Jeff Jeff with all due respect. What would you call somebody who wins one point three million dollars? And I understand your kids are in the car. But let's just see if you can be honest with me for just one second. Let's just say that one point three billion dollars is one on the bag and the caddy is given five thousand dollars. What would you call a person like that or listen, I mean business here in Las Vegas, and I deal with a lot of other business people so called business people doing deals with. Yes. And you know what? Steph me once. Fine. Me twice. Shame on me. So you got to let this be known to everybody. This guy's a stiff and don't bother with to carry the bag. It's really not worth by. Okay. Well, you call them. You call them. No. I I agree. Jeff. Pretty guy agree we're in agreement. So so tell you the reason why I called that guy names is because he was trying to rationalize it and make it as if it is okay to tip someone less than a point one fraction of of what you win in a golf tournament. Now, I'm gonna call it like it is on the air..
