"Kathie Lee with you going to be hanging out until noon. Please Now to be joined by Alex Berenson. Alex. I remember a little bit even he wrote for the post back in the mid to late nineties. He also wrote for The New York Times covered a number of events in this Congress Country. Hurricane Katrina course. Being one of those. He has written 12 John Welles novels, couple of nonfiction books as well. And he's got an interesting take on sort of how we are covering. We being not including us. But the mainstream media's covering this co vered 19 pandemic we thought would be good to check in with Alex and get his perspective. Good morning. Alex's Dave Logan re close and Kathie Lee here in Denver. How are you? I'm great. Thanks. Thanks for having me on absolutely good to catch up with you again. You have and I've seen you a couple of times on various television shows. Um, just give us a general overview from from your perspective in terms of Copan, 19 and how it's being covered. And what has sort of taken you to this point that that you feel the way you do. Sure, so, so it's been covered disastrously disastrously badly by by most of the media and there have been very, very real and significant consequences to this in terms of our response to this, which has been horrendous overreaction. Ah, And caused, you know, cause enormous damage to the economy, enormous damage to schools, enormous damage to society and and a lot of damage to mental health. So, so, you know, and I've written a couple of Ah, booklets about this which go into, you know, Ah, couple of aspects of this, and I'm probably gonna write more of these, which are called unreported Truth. My main outlet these days. Besides, you know, being on sort of conservative media because, unfortunately, the mainstream media, including places like MSNBC and CNN, which I used to be able to appear on will not have me on anymore. You know, my main outlets are fox in one Americans of conservative talk radio, which is fine, and I'm glad to talk to You know to you and to anybody else who will have me on. I'm a political independent, but it's very frustrating to me that people who really need to hear the truth are truly in an echo chamber right now. Um and so So you know, like everybody else. I was interested in the Corona virus. You know, as those reports were coming out of China in job, you know, 18 January and February, Anna and I would say I was pretty nervous about. I think it was pretty early to be nervous about the Corona virus. And, you know, I'm sure people remember the videos, people dropping dead in the street and and, you know, people be welded into apartment buildings and And and all this stuff that may or may not have been true, but certainly was scary to see. Um and then in March, and I go into this in the in the locked in the first under 40 truce booklet. Um, there was this famous report is infamous report that came out of London came out of a place called Imperial College London That said that you know, two million Americans would die. If if there were if there were no lockdowns and a half million people in Britain, and this report is also showing two people in Europe and it really drove the lock down panic very quickly and so on. And and I remember seeing that and reading that report and realizing nearly all the death you were going to be in elderly and really extremely elderly people. And I think to say prove it is not really and I can't you know, keeping dangerous for people, especially people who have severe pre existing conditions. Or who are you know or who are elderly and unwell. But it did make me realize very suddenly that that this was not the Spanish flu that this was not going to kill a lot of young, healthy people. It wasn't killed Children. It wasn't going to kill young adults who didn't have, you know lots of other health problems, And of course, there can always be an exception. You know, this is if everybody gets there may be a few exceptions here and there, But for the most part, this is not what we were told it, Wass and and that was the beginning. Of the You know, the scale falling from my eyes. And now for the last five months I've been you know, people call me They call me a covert dinner, which is not true. I do not deny the reality of covert. I do not deny it. It's killed a lot of people in the United States. But what I deny is that is that all response to it is, you know the response that we've gone to, especially in March in a pond may with the Larkins was the correct response. I deny that there's a lot of evidence that masks work, because guess what There's not a lot of evidence in masks work when I'm really trying to do for people say to them. Look at look at what our public health recommendations were before March. We considered the possibility off a pandemic flu pandemic, mainly for years and years, and here's what we said we were going to do if that happened. And then guess what This happened and we throw out everything we've considered in a matter of days. And so that's that and people people people kind of hate me in the media for saying this because what I'm saying is not just your wrong but you You are wrong. And you are not following the science even though you say you are and they're terrible consequences, Alex. From what I can tell, this is the first time in history that Healthy people have been Quarantined and locked down. Probably.

"Yeah I am. Alex man you pitching in Dude from the beginning you know and so yeah I was Kinda therefrom when the idea was hatched. I it was important I wanted to be there for sure. Dude I I I just love having something wrenched on man. Oh Stop Kidding me. Too Big Fan or stuff. Touches like surgically clean? Well I don't know just all those years of being an aerospace. That's kind of what we had to do stuff so yeah it kind of rubbed off so exactly. It's funny just listening to the bantering between you and like Dave when you guys are working underneath the hood that that'll be its own show and if some cable companies watching this you need you need Dave and Alex like Dave and it should be Alex Dave get it done. Well you know. We've banner back and forth. And then Tim strange would just take all the way out to the opposite extreme. It's like all right time for the next joke. That's the thing it would go from. Pg All the way out to the the outer extreme ratings it was outstanding. Everybody was constantly in on it. And Yeah you can have a group like that in one of my favorite jokes. Steve Joke that day about the class ring. You'll you'll hear that unless the episode very good we have a good group but really we almost need to do another episode on this just to talk about the logistics involved in what you put together. Brad Leeann effort. I just started I had. Was this little so cool. So many people that were involved in it. You know doing a post game. Show all over the place. I think we need to wrap this up and then people just need to watch it. Yeah totally let's do that. Yes so let's We'll do one we should have. We should do. Ooh Do a whole breakdown. We'll do an armchair Monday morning quarterback version of the show. And maybe we'll get to hear like all the The comments about how people would have done it differently. Yeah but now I can never thank everybody involved with this enough or if I can let me know. Please a similar similar. Say you didn't do this. I will gladly Cook dinner for all of you and you know if ever caravans. Become a thing again. Y'All got a place on my couch. I'll give you my bed. I'll sleep on the couch. But that's one of the things I just did my touch on that real quick. I feel really bad. The timing of this whole like the virus end. I hate to use the word pandemic but what? They're calling it with all of that going on this really. Put a Canada big hiccup in the road. Because as we're talking Brad. I always like this car is going to be everywhere every weekend. And now there's nowhere to take it right. Which really really kinda sucks. I'll dressed up and nowhere to go. Yeah and suffice to say though it does get a Lotta street time You know one of the things to blow off steam. The kidney will happen that it'll be like let's go for a cruise and You know we we make sure it's out there. I wish I could be out of things like cars and coffee every Saturday morning or you know a local show and try to get some bigger events to. We've talked about going to the open house and doing those events began yet. No no but as soon as that happens this this car. I really want that car out there in front of people. I want the story out there. 'cause liquid talk if this inspires another group of people to do something like this for someone in their group and then another group of people to do this. I mean the one dumb thing is kind of a Phoenix tradition. We have kind of a history for doing that out here. You get a group of guys together and you just get a project. Banged out one afternoon and this was this is a couple of weekends worth of work in one shot. So if you're out there and you know you can if you have to social distance you're still allowed what ten people in one place you could pull off some great project. Get out there and do it. You know do something this. This'll be over soon. Hopefully yeah and then we'll be back to when clearing throat means. You're ticked off not possibly contagious right right. So this Friday Amazon Prime Steel. Please be there. And there's there's four episodes already up there wasn't any this episode and you can tell. She recalled this brunch time versus. Everybody talks about a sima crunch or crunch time. Yeah literally you know the story about Brunch so look for this episode five Brunch time and if anything if you don't just watch it for my dumbfounded look which is pretty much my natural face but what watch it for how cool these guys are and how are really great group of Human Beings. I'm somehow fortunate to be around all get together and just have a great time. We we've got a hell of a group of friends and I hope that you out.

"Of Blair Witch Project Style GonNa say you ferry. Yeah very found footage to the thing and oh it was like to see. From Steve's point of view are Dell's point of view Dave's point of view which he holds us. Phone like a millennial. Don't hold that against him. Nobody told him about you. Know Yeah no way you can get a better shot. It's just funny. I mean one but it's weird when you're walking up driveway at trying to get your brain to collect fair why these people would be in this drive with that time and why they're filming you. That was weird from me that that. That's a surreal moment. I'll never forget when I started getting the footage from get Alex Dave Getting Dell stuff and Dell's daughter and they'll start with the cool polaroid-snapping then your kid and your dad like this is an oss. It was I couldn't have asked for a cooler cooler deal that isn't as polished is professional. Is You know some of the big name shows on TV. No but oh. We got beaten depth in depth and soul. We got them whooped. It's not even it's not even a contest so so weird we're GONNA at some point. We'll have to do a lot of part two or you get that car out on the road. Put some cameras on it and it's fun. I.

"We have caller you their provider. Hello what's on your mind. Yes I'm not familiar with the gentleman I haven't listened to the program in a while but Drawing the South so anyway I wonder Alex Dave and we're in the US Mariana Islands. So were special studio here in the Asia Pacific. Good to hear from you you too. So I'll cover covert briefly but I really wanted to talk about political vile let me talk about covert You know I've been listening to some programs but having listened to a while I guess especially with the foreign teen one of them the other day was info wars. Which is Alex? Jones is big thing. You know his Kinda supposed Patriot but scientists `gate-keeping program. Anyway so these guys on infowars work toward narrowly against the socialist idea of The government basically giving people some of the money that they sold back I'm pretty neutral toward socialism. So I guess I wanted to know what you guys thought about that. Maybe just to try to help. Stave off Revolution when all the fat Lazy People You Know Get hungry enough. What do you think You Talk to bill that passed just to clarify why. I think you made a great point. I think you made a great point of staving off revolution. I mean you know if you've got a bunch of like broke pissed off people running around. You're you're asking for trouble so I think While I myself mcgann socialism. I understand the motive of basically trying to stick a pacifier in the baby's mouth so it doesn't scream to loudly. I don't know if that's the right analogy but it's only a short term solution for a problem that I think the free market eventually is going to have to solve your the way I look at it is. This is paying damages right. If you've wrong someone you can be forced to pay damages. And I think the the government by shutting everything down has caused tremendous economic. It has yeah. There's people out there who would have been working but they're not allowed to work. There are being forced to close their businesses and suffer tremendous financial loss so from that regard. I think that the the bailout is not enough right there knock-on you can give someone twelve hundred bucks a month. You know if they're living in coastal city that might not even pay their rent so never mind all their other bills lost income everything else and so in general. I'm against bailouts. I think there should be consequences for actions. And that's how we evolve for half. There's no consequence. There's no incentive to be better to improve whether a couple lot there's a couple groups of lawyers out there wanting to sued the Chinese Communist Party which I think is awesome good blood collecting but you know I think ultimately it's the Chinese Communist Party that's responsible for this. I mean it was their bio weapon that got out of their lab and then they allegedly. I don't know man I'm I'm I'm I'm standing firm on this one. But that's that's debatable. But I really do think that You know she'll never be able to prove that well she's paying. I think I'm pretty positive. Bears the ultimate responsibility for this. But are we going to get president? She to pay us for damages. I doubt it I mean what are we. GonNa do nukem. I don't think that's a solution. But I but I definitely do believe that like saying you know what maybe we should build our stuff in China anymore and then bringing our own manufacturing back or just taking telling basically saying hey American companies. You want to build stuff. You just can't do it in China anymore. And and why do we need to tell them? I think everyone slurring lesson right. It's these long supply chains just in time supply chains. They're very vulnerable as seeing now. Which is trade war and with corona? So there's I think they'll be enough free market. Incentives move your supply chains closer especially as we're entering the age of automation right. You don't need cheap labor. Sam used to you. Need some engineer monitoring the factory robots and America has enough engineers to do that well especially since the coms were going. Oh well maybe America. If you don't kiss our butts away we want you to. We'll we'll stop selling you medicine. So you can all die from corona. I'm paraphrasing but that's pretty much what the COMMS are saying and I'm thinking you know well maybe Chinese Communist. Maybe we don't need to be doing business with you people anymore. And so I and the thing is I like Chinese people. I was married to a Chinese person so I just think that the government is they harvest organs of Christians and Buddhists to sell on the open market and I just can't handle a government that murders hundreds of millions of people. Just be because they WANNA stay in power of their own people on the line and I do appreciate your feedback though. Let me just if I could delineate the next point really quickly because another other people. Can I ask you guys about political mile and really quickly go ahead please? Thank you so long.

"This is a live call in talk about whatever you want we are coming to you live from the U. S. Mariana islands I'm Alex Dave that mark and the number to call is eight five five four five zero three seven three three and yeah we've been talking about corona the news of the day talking about freedom just talking about what it means to be American and the and apparently liberals are wanting guns these days too many but we're not sure exactly who is lining up in these places that are largely liberal to get the guns but nothing like a crisis to let people know Hey you know it's a good time to have a weapon well you know I I think I think also the term liberal is misused I think up there right out of a market led the global scale the term liberal is what I am I yeah me too I'm I'm I'll I'm a liberal when it comes to like it I just want more freedom so I I think I think the whole nanny state thing I think the rejection of the round rejection of of Bloomberg was a pretty good sign liberals in the United states tend to be authoritarian yeah and liberal but on a global liberal as far as like a when you're talking historically the government is to allow less there's to have less okay with or tearing us up now I will say this the state of humans throughout our existence at least since the agrarian revolution we really don't know anything prior to that is an authoritarian state basically I mean there's a time when it take took the stand out because no one no one could drop this one there's a time when only one out of seventeen people one is at a seventeen men could breed we know that from the genetic record but this is this is a fact so authoritarianism is losing your **** that that that could be that was what what how it happened I I remember there was an episode of Buck Rogers were bought what do you think the planet of Amazon women and you know my ways yes they they wanted box because he he had could Davis calling in from New Mexico one can understand free talk live David you're on for two o'clock Hey yeah gun stuff okay so you're talking about shooting technique basically minute ago about being proficient with the weapon but right in the vein of guns is Albuquerque city council thing first of all the worthwhile reading would be the it's and M. political report dot com article A. B. Q. council approves public health emergency proposal on there some basis to the the the totalitarian government thing where the mayor has the power to take your firearms which actually is still on the books in the city of Albuquerque the mayor can take your guns in in the form of bothering her on his hands and does it take he can send he can the point what the point is is the mayor controls the police department unless they decide to go rogue the mayor can order the police department to go shut down all the guns and ammo sellers so that nobody can get any additional provisions in the form of guns and ammunition ammunition so that the law doesn't give him the law or the right or the power to go home to home but it does it's been on the books for fifty years given the right to go to the stores and constant basically confiscate those guns and ammunition so that you can have it installed and that's still on the books in this in the Albuquerque city council had a meeting and were they they they did the meeting fast without much notice and shut the public out of it and instead of when they had the opportunity to they couldn't write to that law off the books since it's unconstitutional but instead they double down on it in added on more powers to what's still there and so that any of the evidence of your government's intention or at least this government's intention of that of your government's David's and you're absolutely right is that the city councils they operate in the under the cloak of darkness yeah last majority of people are not spending any time at all watching with our local government does and your local government has far more power more that with their actions have far more implications for your life for some reason everybody's worried about whether or not you know what a trump call the corona virus you know hello my name's not beating heart this man is just a big it from start to finish right like who cares what ladies and gentleman I don't love Donald Trump I didn't vote for Donald Trump but what has this reality TV star actually done to you what has he done that has affected your life in reality nodding your head do you care he made a mean tweet that hurt my feelings right now but I mean you get a fine he's the reason he's there in that office is because some people want to make other people feel bad so if you're feeling bad congratulations you have lost actually he made me tweet that may be laughed at the people whose feelings got hurt that's the thing though half the people think he's hilarious the other half of the people think he's awful but either way he's done nothing unless you're like me and you actually had your cruise to Cuba canceled the actually did something that affected my life for real and you know what I can live with it my trip to Thailand got canceled so that that affected me these local these these local politicians have far more power and that their their actions they they impact your life in so many ways and David's pointing out accurately that people just don't pay attention to them and then here's here's our thing though these people called on people you know have a power well we the people pay their salaries and we the people are the pool from which these people come from so maybe we the people should get more involved and actually do something about it I know it's hard because we got kids when they get involved I mean everybody's got a crappy opinion right yeah like everybody's everybody we're talking and listening right now has a crappy opinion I don't want you involved I want you to stop believing that these people have any power at all I mean it when we say we the people what you mean is like on the plantation we the slaves the more the slave master yeah I don't do it we need to stop we need to stop support the slave master than if we all do it once but for some reason it but but there's like the old story the bucket of crabs were like you know the one crab tries to climb out but that's just because we've gotten you know we've gotten used to mass media kind of convincing us of a certain narrative we've got we've gotten more to was fought to protect your right to democracy and voting rights they start off young getting you invested in the system everything that happened before of significance was so that you could vote in this election the government you can't be against the government that's like cutting off your own arm we are the government that the government we have no control of where people people here wine because we can't vote in presidential elections but at least we don't have to pay for guidance go ahead sorry that that that's a good point that you just made the last thing you said mark and and because if you want to look at it for some reason people living on this continent decided that they needed to go to war to throw off a government that was set to oppressive a few years back and if you look at what they were suffering then what we're suffering now we were actually far more impressed than they were then and they decided to go to war over it and they left you to their thoughts in the form of the declaration of independence and you should read it as to what the reasoning was as to what was being done to them and what they were going to do about it and what people in the future meeting us should do about it if they found themselves in the same situation it's a very short read it takes about five minutes to read that part of the declaration of independence and to tell you exactly you know give you heads up you know you compare what your life is like right now what your government is like right now to what they were suffering with like they they were out having a picnic compared to what we have and and we're not really we're just beginning to be aware of that we need to do something about it I think yesterday's home David I think you're absolutely right I mean if everybody spent some time thank you for the call David if everybody spent a little time reading in the course of the next twenty four hours the declaration of independence tomorrow tackle the constitution the day after tackle your state constitution you'll know so much more than anybody you're talking to because you've at least read these documents and it got a fresh in your mind it's probably been it's probably been ten years since I sat down with the course of independence and went you know start to finish with it and I probably should read again his you're absolutely right well this this brings up something that Thomas Jefferson said I think it's Thomas Jefferson he said like how much Tierney is person willing to put up by how much Tierney is is possible is basically how much tyranny are people willing to put up with and I think and and the reason why I'm I'm actually optimistic about the future I I believe it or not I I actually am is that we've reached a certain saturation point and I think that people are going to change their consciousness because of it and I think we're gonna be good Alex you optimistic about future R. well with the corona scaring everything on concern try it seems the government's getting bigger and stronger and messing up more and more things in our life and people are the the love in it right there all I see on Facebook is you know these lockdowns are great it's going to save.

"And should return soon to our show we we obviously have focused our show and what did her country and maybe even the entire world is talking about the corona virus before we talk to Alex Renteria from D. I. A. the we have just found out that the MLS and the National Hockey League both have canceled or at least suspended the remaining portion of their regular seasons and there's a a conference call between all MLB owners happening within the next hour and we shouldn't expect an announcement after that yeah the the it again looking like suspension for all spring training games yeah you don't wanna be that guy they just sort of ignores what everybody else is doing and says all hell nobody will get sick and then an unfortunate something unfortunate happens and you have to stand up and say okay why would everybody else was doing what they were doing what what what do you write you don't be that guy I don't wanna be that guy nope off the D. I. A. we go let's see how the corona viruses impacting the travel at our airport Alex went to Rio is a spokesperson for DA morning Alex's Dave Logan Rick Lewis how you doing good morning so are you right well we're we're okay to tell us what is going on in a DA and how you seen the corona virus impact travel here in our city and so currently we're working with our airlines that provide flights between Denver and Europe to understand the specific service impacts do that president trump's announcement so that's what's happening on airline side however it airport side we have a lot of efforts in place to protect our passengers employees and they you know those very from installing sanitary wipe on Jeff bridges to adding more handed to him kind of typing white dispensers yes hi Alex it's Rick Lewis here I've got a a good friend who's a long time pilot for one of the major airlines they're a D. I a and he still fly in and he feels like it's still it's still good to fly he doesn't play internationally just flies domestic so we wanted to check just to make sure you guys are still advocating it's okay to fly because there is a real sense of panic that he has said in here the last couple days especially today yeah we we feel the panic as well however we are seeing a lot of people who are still going on vacation so you know folks should check with their airlines and just like everyone else is saying wash your hands make sure you're not around people who argue that exist are symptoms you know any type of cold or flu virus and we hope that people feel safe at our airport which is why we're installing all these precautionary effort and were even cleaning everything twice as often that we typically want because of the virus again Alex Renteria spokesperson for DA Alex last last question for me we have an unconfirmed reports that somebody who actually works at DA had contracted the coronavirus it can you substantiate that do you know anything about that that's correct there we were notified that one of our employees tested presumptive positive for Kobe nineteen and we're working with the proper health agencies to notify those who may have come in contact with this individual we at this time we don't believe that that person was exposed to passengers and that they even had limited contact with fellow employees have you guys noticed that the the lines at security or real short and there's not as many people traveling so we have noticed a difference from last year to this year just because spring break is coming however I will say there are many people who are still traveling who are still especially those domestic flights they're still getting at in and out of number you know and like I said before as long as people are really taking care of themselves and cleaning washing their hands and making sure they're being safe I I think that that is a safe place to be okay Alex thanks for much of the time we appreciate it thank you that's Alex Renteria spokesperson for DA so as you heard her confirm of one employee from the airport has tested positive for the corona virus and now they have to go through obviously all the steps to determine whether he or she was in contact with them then it means you can figure this out right passengers other people the airport gate agents were this person worked how many people this person came in contact with I mean it would be it would be a sizeable task trying to put that sort of time line together it is she said it if they're cleaning the airport even more than normal and I also read from various emails from airlines that I've traveled that they're doing the same thing with the planes I think southwest said they're cleaning up seven hours a day you know or at night when they when they get in for the night they're spending seven hours per plane so the plane is probably gonna be the cleanest it's ever been in your previous flights and then I will I just would recommend bringing those wipes and when you you know sit down at your seat wipe off the table the other arm rests you know eight anything that you're going to be touching seat belt buckle they say to wipe that down as well well that's where all the germs would collect India I think you'd be pretty safe we just got a text the Formula One Australian Grand Prix which was scheduled for this weekend has been canceled and also the twelve hours of Sebring that's race also canceled due to travel band so I I can't imagine given what's happened the last twelve to eighteen hours with the NBA suspended their season and again I said as we open the show today at nine o'clock that to me that was kind of the tipping point when that happened I said you know what the the the old phrase Katie bar the door because you just knew when that happened one other players now two players have been confirmed as testing positive for coronavirus both Rudy go bare and Donovan Mitchell two players from the Utah Jazz but once the NBA stepped up and suspend of the season for the time being you knew there was a matter of time now we sing thirteen conference tournaments in the NC double a battering canceled I I we've seen the National Hockey League suspend the remainder of their season MLS Major League Soccer suspend the rest of their regular season we suspect that spring training games will be suspended I would say the odds are that March madness will be suspended soon I just don't think the NC double a can withstand the heat to be one of the only groups to continue to try to sort of play through this all after school activities in the cherry creek school district have been suspended what one of my one of my missing now we just talked to Alex Renteria from DA talking about travel plans you mentioned NHL I mentioned in a yeah the cover up were waiting on Major League Baseball it's pretty tricky we should hear very soon something on that that's going to happen you would think no riots that's going to happen Jeff Passan is just reporter from ESPN Major League Baseball is expected to suspend operations until further notice that means that all spring training games will be suspended of very very soon I saw today that Italy has suspended mortgage payments for the time being okay right up the gut all right good we've heard talk of maybe you know they're gonna have some big tax cut or give people money I've heard those types of reports like maybe they'll just write a check to every adult in the country you know to try to ease the pain of this this this turn in this the downturn in the stock market in in business slowing down and that type of thing they they did something the fed did something about an hour ago and the the Dow was down by twenty one hundred and it then it started coming back it it was like seven fifty about a half hour ago down it'll bounce to fourteen hundred down those down eighteen hundred so it they they they liked it at first and now they're processing that information we'll see what happens tomorrow maybe there's something that they have to process and wrap their head around and I think there's gonna be more this type of stimulus from the fed yeah here very very soon the stimulus was in essence over a trillion dollars committed to open use the right terminology here sort of a short term bridge with respect to the market so to try to encourage people to think that to to get back in the market or have the ability to get back on the market and obviously it worked it worked for a time being and and now the market is tank once again that Lafayette joins us on KOAA news radio hi Pat good morning what if we take this opportunity to talk real quick being do you don from the spokesman from the airport I know they're saying that they're taking extra precautions to clean there should be there should be wrapped but I myself have a builder the parents and the threat the possibility exists that empire amount they're flying I canceled the flight this week Albuquerque because of S. because you're not a close proximity to other people in an airplane and those kinds of things around here or and I said you know it isn't worth it to me to fly I'm not so much worried about me catching the virus but I sure as heck don't want to give it to my elderly parents sure and you know that the person at the spa at the airport there for training are you know what they're trying to do but the fact is we're dealing with something they've never dealt with before they need to realize that big precautions in Europe for outlining those just previous to my call our our our decisions of people are making to cancel things better big things in it and that's the best way to do it is to stop the movement of the virus by doing what they're doing and the airport oughta be sympathetic to that I know that the embargo the economic cost is going to be great it's gonna hurt a lot of people in need and a lot of situations but that speaks to the to the to the bad things that our president didn't do when this thing started over there in China and Europe he kind of set boundaries on his haunches and didn't know anything and told people it wouldn't be fine when he really doesn't know what he's talking about it now that loss of time hello to all of us well that's thanks for the call it certainly you know China didn't do anything in China have knowledge of this well before it allowed the knowledge to to seep out I think if you're the president of the United States and we have a situation like this if you'd like to the president prior to corona virus becoming a thing you're probably okay with the way he's handled this if you didn't like the president no matter who the president is prior to the start of something like this which is a pandemic then you probably don't like him now you probably find reasons to questioned whether he handled this and inappropriate talk very good that's very good way to put it a David and and president trump one thing you did too early approx probably six weeks ago he banned flights incoming flights from China took a lot of grief here got a lot of push button for that and and once again they were at the races card was played and all that and what are you doing yeah he did do that right away and some are saying that probably has kept it from being much worse here Stanton house race is gonna join us on KOAA news radio Morgan Stanley L. drawn out good quality figure skater your available account we're going up right on well first of all I'm a I'm a native the number of listen you.

"The next episode is for weddings and funeral minus three weddings in one funeral. Jonathan. This is when my hair started to go, gray ABC decided this color was going to work. Dave's like that's the dark Knight period Dame. Palley was stone for sure. Any time he's wearing glasses in seen. He's. Okay. I only wear sunglasses every. Lies think you look great was my favorite wardrobe over. So come to the. This Stephen Guarino where we should talk about. He's a mayor Terek and he was amazing. Stephen, gordon. I actually played two characters on this episode. I know you're. Damon was shooting David was shooting. Movie simultaneously, where he played played a cop? And he had a secret. Big momma's out. Question. I didn't even you just put up the picture and have. Johnson picked this episode I picked up so because not only hilarious stuff like the wedding of Derek and Eric and. Forth, making Jane allies coop where that yellow tuxedo best things Jane trying to cut the budget on the wedding and Brad, getting fired at the beginning by Larry Wilmore's character, which was hilarious and penny. The Skype table and max van. And Brian Austin, green, it was just so much to me. Larry's, but I really because I'm kind of softy, the thing I love was how sweep that season. I mean it was heartbreaking for penny because she goes to Dave's room to sort of follow up based on a conversation, and, and there's Alex, and that's where Alex Dave are back out together and, and ending where with Maxine like a prayer with the fire. And then Brad gets up and sings and Jane is watching Brad and then we end on Dave and Alex, the little secret hand. So have believed one of the writers here didn't leave Riley, straw. And she wrote. Yes. Angela also. Take two. Writers were again, not just saying this. We're so talented. We had such such great writers, on the show. This get Alex and Dave back together how far along? When did you decide that was going to happen to always thing, the show would have them break up than ultimately get back to really break up? I think the was, it was inevitable that they had to get back together. I think the season one ended with Alex ready to may be realized that she's made a mistake, and there's heartbreaking moments of the season, one finale where she realizes it's too late to do it, and then we started them off season two with their back together. And then it felt like they needed. They would they did break up at the end of season three Jamie Tarsus, one of our producers sort of said, like, you know, they're gonna have to get married at the NFC some five and so four might have been exploring, Dave and penny because that was something that we were playing around with that idea..

"All of our shows are supported by you, the audience a little bit of our money. A little bit of our money comes from advertising, we have a couple of other things that a little bit of our money comes from. But especially for a show like Jordan, Jesse go almost all of our funding comes from you directly from you who are listening right now, all of the thousands of people who become maximum fund members and elect to support Jordan Jesse go. Yeah. Can I can I bring it back to Alex Dave and busters for a second? Yeah. Please do Alex bought around a drinks right to stand up, dude. Of course, be better believe I lifted tip. Oh, yeah. You. No piker. No. But so I I would like to encourage the listener to think about the pledge drive. You know, if you're not somebody who donates to NPR PBS or something maybe the donation concept can be a little hard to get your brain around. And I like to think about it like, this don't don't don't think of it as, you know, paying for something free. Think about it as a just just given a tip to somebody who's providing something you like, I think, you know, if you're out there, and you're listening, you probably don't think twice about drone down a tip for a bartender. Throwing something throwing something to the barista. Maybe they got a cute either. Or thing they're doing with the tips marvel or DC, I don't know those are fun. So, you know. Yeah. If you if you tip those people if you will over in and the music man right there the same guy at the same guy now. Yeah. If you if you if you're out there, and you're in your Tipper, and you should be. Yeah. Just think of this is throwing your favorite podcasters, you know, a bucket show if you wanna make it more than a bucket show. That's great. But a bucket show goes a long long way, you're getting hardy drink to hardy drink. Yes of podcast to filling potent drinks podcast. Yes, toes the tip out. There was a free drink. He just got and I love, and I love talking about it in this in these terms because you know, I think it does help people kind of kind of wrap their brain around it. And also when I make this analogy, I get to hear from the beautiful people of the I don't tip community. I love all your so far. I love you. And I love hearing from you at this time of year. You're so logical data system, Jordan. Yeah. Anyway, I do not want to hear from you. And they just finished the fountainhead finished the Fouts. Ed, they want me to at puberty by. "Seventy we'll call it a highway just before that what you need to do is just turn off in park because when traffic is at its worst. Yep. It's a state of being. You know, mid mid week. Friday time to stop and park and sit here and intrepid Sojourner beer project and take in all the Disney brewery has to offer lap-times trucks are here. It's a happened in place tonight. And we've got a lot of things to cover, but the gingerbread house competition is really what I'm hoping comes through. Have you tried the gingerbread beer, there's lots of stuff I wanted. Yes. The only one at the table who has the gingerbread right here. Cheers. Tyler. Brewing company straight beer. Here comes some food right now from spice flow, food, truck, Hungary, all night, I see Chris stark is I see GT young Davies here with us tonight whiskey sisters. Rescue sisters over there. Police here yet for these from the whiskey sisters and Robbie Hawn. So we brought our posse with us here tonight to as we continue on in the kitchen is going to be Katie from good sugar baking. Good sugar. Good sugar. What do they do? Yeah. Good shooter baking, we've been really excited to work with them. They sell fantastic cookies. All over Denver, probably at a brewery near you and a couple of times. Now, we've done these really awesome events where we build a flight of four beers around four unique cookies, and you can come in and kind of experienced gear that way so just another way that we can kind of get beer and food or beer beard cookies are any of those fears salty. You know, the sweet and salty knows salty beers on the menu, right? Just salty personality. Yes. Seven pm Zack's coming on from rebel. Brad. What do you know about rebel bread? And so again, another great local partner, rebel, Brad. We just released this historical Russian style of beer kvass in conjunction with rebel bread. That's basically ferment Ribe bread. And if you haven't been down to rebel bread, they're they're ri-. And they're Sourdot are incredible. Next time you're looking for breakfast. And downtown Denver's definitely stop by. That's cool. Alex and David from squirrel, squirrel barrels square barrels squirrel square barrels almost set her on to do it. What does squirrel barrel and wide? Yeah. So uh squirrels kind of grew out of of. Experience as a distiller. And so traditionally your aging spirits in hundred year old oak barrels a lot of times, it has to be brand new hundred year old oak barrels, and there are only so many of those and. We're almost out frankly. It's great. Invention that allows us to utilize different kinds of wood smaller amounts of oak and still get that traditional folk flavor character that you're looking for is it like the stave process. Yeah. So it's it's a little bit like the state. It's a stainless steel frame has twelve wooden staves. And that kind of maximize surface area. Right. So we get as much surface area and a ten gallon squirrel is doing a sixty gallon barrels the ones against the wall. I like to call it a new way to sustainable way to aid your whiskey, and to be able to almost scientifically the aging from those staves and the flavor profile that you want and to be able to fetch weight that in a way that I mean, let's listen, that's a tough thing. Especially with the shortage of trees, more and more than distilleries that I talked to say it's hard to come across barrels. What's so cool about that? Greg is the fact that right now, we're I think we're we're touching an industry that's been around for thousands of years. And we're all of a sudden going to have some major innovation around distilling around brewing. I think what's happened in the last. I mean, remember this when we were kids when I was a kid. I'm a little older than everyone at the table. But. You. There was only it was like Coors. I mean. I remember when I was in college in keystone came out as this miraculous beer that had a plastic liner that didn't taste like can that was their selling point. And to think of where we've come. That was twenty years ago. How far we've come. Yeah. Thing. The squirrel is you can use all kinds of wood that were previously accessible to brewers and distillers. So thinking about innovation any kind of way that you can think of can be utilized in a twelve inch compact, squirrels, Dave. So it's going to prevent some really unique opportunities for people interested in barely beers. If you want to hear about that at seven fifteen Alex, Dave. Alex and David from squirrel square barrels. We'll be on to talk about that. And I think it's interesting because you look at the purists like laws with you said no shortcuts. Are there shortcuts? There are man. I mean, you're looking at distillery to ninety one in Colorado Springs, and they're just pushing out whiskey. Not aged for two three years that has been in barrel. Eight months. I think is that is that to Ninety-one winning awards left and Ryan worldwide. So yeah, that's a discussion needs to be made. My make studios gonna come up at seven thirty. And these gals have helped us so much. There are spirit guides when it comes to building anything that you would want as far as a gingerbread houses, and maybe so much more. We'll catch up with them. And then at seven forty five booze in the news all the booze news you can use with Andrew Moore. Jeff Tyler and John Straughter. We're gonna talk about craft beers state of craft beers where we're at right now. And I think that'll be a good one for all of us. I will probably cut the. I'm thinking out loud. But the my makes studio a little short. So that we can have a good stretch twenty or so minutes to catch up with the brewers with that housekeeping to do top chef twenty nineteen twenty s. I don't think I think this is like the back room or something so seasons sixteen. Yeah. But in last chance kitchen last chance kitchen, chef Kerry bear brother love. Yeah. Carey's turn. Hey, you know, I try to do my homework for the show every now. And then, you know, why why are you giving me such a hard time, Mr. Florida there, but yes, she's she's crushed at the last two. Carey is one of our good old. Boy brother is in second place. It's six sixteen in the mile high city him without further. Do what we're gonna do is take a break. We're going to pay a couple bills. We'll come back. He's the man with the plan is named chef Chris Darcus urban farmer. We love her been farmer, man. And last time we were there at the last time. We're there Andrew didn't. You have a beer dinner. Yeah. We didn't really really awesome dinner with chef Chris Darcus little over a year ago. Now. Yeah. Pairing some of our beer's hickory peach. Remember that baked Alaska was just fantastic beer is food man and may jump on board and a lot of times when chef embrace that the beer is food. And how can we pair these things that you come up with some delicious, delicious pairing Vance, and Chris stark is and urban farmer kind of cutting that trail, especially when they work with guys like Andrew Moore, and Jeff Tyler from spike straight brewing company. Okay. Live from intrepid Sojourner beer project. It what do you call this event? Is this the second second annual gingerbread invitational? How many entries do we have to? So he's got four inches this year. Yep. That we've actually got an entry from the from the public this year. So it's grown. It's getting out there next year. We might have more more entries from the public. I think we're really going to grow this event nationwide. Gingerbread petition world's largest gingerbread overseas. We talked about it last year. We're talking about it. Now, I think it's going to be world largest, hey, J Barker, yo pictures of that that you're showing the gingerbread houses on our Facebook live. I don't why would you. It might be. I know I should go there too. I'll check it out. I'll be I'll be the man come see our gingerbread houses and come on down. Give the address again Andrew nine to five west eighth avenue. In Denver, just south of downtown. Yeah. It's popping down here tonight. Our intrepid Sojourner beer project. We're going to take a break. We'll be right.

"The ESPN app. And is just each getting more interesting as we go to the bottom of the night, Dan shoulder. Chris singleton of BUSTER all tied at one between the dodgers Red Sox and Alex Cora has indeed brought David price into the game the starter and the winter two days ago at game two six strong innings through eighty eight pitches. We will see how long he is out there for just want batters, Cody Bellinger is that batter. You will lead off Yossi up league is on your Monte Grondahl up third all kinds of possibilities here. Dave Roberts coulda gone to a righty, Louis Ballenger. We cruise on deck hits righties much better than lefties. So see how that sorts itself out and Greg Kimbrell is still up in the pan. So obviously, Alex thinking there may be a situation where it's either price getting in trouble or a certain unfavorable matchup that might induce him kimbrel. Admission. Left E against lefty ballots. You're getting a look at price. Ron would win it for the dodgers. The first pitch a fastball. The ninety four in there for a strike. David rice, paste, all right handed batters should be game to the dodgers started nine righties. Here's the one on the way bounced in a ball on a strike. Jack Petersen homered in the third. Jackie Bradley, jR, Hobart mea. That's it. Rather? Buehler was sensational for the dodgers tonight. Seven scoreless two hits struck out. Seven didn't walk a batter Jansen gave up the home run to Bradley in the. Here's the one one swing and a miss balance your chase two slider down and away one and two. Don't you like the fact that it was down? But just did recognize soon it off. That was gonna sweep away. Prelature over three on the night. And five for forty two in the postseason. Theater swaying slightly to pull out you. There's a little bit around the opposite field. Time requested by Bellenger with price as he customarily does take it a lot of time between pitches. Now, everybody ready to go. And the one two on the way and it slash. Over near the lie. Big turn by Balladur, but Martinez get tobacco quickly enough force ballots. You're back to hers but the leadoff man is on the dodgers in the bottom of the night. That's the way you run the bases out of the box. He's thinking he's going to force JD Martinez with the bad ankle to get their stop changed. His course and get the ball back in there and make him do everything right? Take what they'll give you. We against so many different things could happen here. We don't see Alex cora's who we assume Bryce is going to stay and remember, we is a extreme reverse split, Scott. I also thought we might see core come out and changes outfielders around again did with Machado. But obviously, you can tell by the way they're playing in the outfield to the numbers, obviously suggests a pre uses the whole feel more than Machado does. So it's still Martinez Bradley etcetera in Batson, right? Dowager? You're very good speed at first week the battery. Price sex. The first pitch to que- inside ball want. At least at the moment. Grondahl is on deck. Again, there will be more. Interesting decisions to be made. Dave Roberts has say David breeze over there. My mother's right handed. Bring freezing. You got believe Cabral's. See what happens between price of plea. I. The one own a big swing and a foul bat one and one. We smelling his back after that foul balls number of players. Do it's interesting the difference. He talked about the reverse splits with Yossi tweet, but against left handers. I just see that left shoulder. It comes open a little bit to sin. He's able to keep that left shoulder posed longer against right handers. And now you see it's the other way around. Wanted wanted. Everybody standing Dodger Stadium. Soft toss over the first fellowship Agni's. It could be fun for the dodgers. If twigs able to find a gap that rolls all the way to fence or went down the line in the laugh. Typically, gone online and laugh at the ball in front of Bellinger of a heaping really kind of call zone shot as far as getting all the way around the bases to score. But he's got great speed over there. First base one ball, one strike on que-. Are the pitch swing and a high fly ball to right field, but not deep at all. In and over was left a few steps, and he's there to make the catch. We retired one down. There was again, Dan at shoulder. It opens up, and what happens is the backside that back sold in the backside collapses a little bit. And then the the path of the bat, you're not able to get on top of the baseball and quake such a strong guy. He could stay tall on the backside. Keep their front shoulder closing. He the ball out of the park the other way. Dave Roberts elects to leave in Grondahl who remembers a switch hitter, but is a much weaker hitter from the right side. But this is Dave Roberts say I think if I bring in freeze your gonna bring in. Kimbrell, alex. Dave Roberts would rather have Rodahl against price van freeze against Kimber. Bye. And then also I mean, you're. Keep it a catcher in the game. And you're not losing your down to know catchers. If we have a situation that's always a concern. You don't have a backup catcher, especially on extra innings in the game extends a little bit longer. All the bad. Steve Roberts hassled adventure right handed hitters, Brian dosier, KiKi Hernandez. Austin Barnes, David freeze, Matt campus already come and gone chided one bottom nine Gallinger at first with what out for Graham down batting for the right side. Price was set at a pitch doubt it away. All one. Badeah room on the right side of the infield with more than holding on. Hole shading up the middle. Outfitters or straightaway on Grondahl. Want to know the count price looking into Vasquez? Ground allies for Graham, Dow had an eight forty three Opie s against righties he had a seven twenty-seven copious against leftward. So stated some damage against lefties. Price has the song. Not a huge lead by bell. The one on the way it's outside ball to. On the flinch over there by balladry forest. Probably trying to get a good feel maybe time up. David price and steal a bag aggressive. Especially with all from the right side doesn't promise a whole lot of pot. Together, nonstop channel of let's go dodgers. The to autograph Dali takes it low ball three in and out of the bitter Vasquez. Forty five zero. Three and we have to take one here. Yes. Just rest that bad on the shoulder right now hosts for a couple of pictures, don't move. Chris Taylor's on deck and a pitcher spot after that. It feels like Kimberley's coming Edison as disadvantage over PK. Hernandez has a helmet on David threes walking around with a bat in his hand Alpine's possibilities one Thai bottom nine Bellinger at first one down. Three oh to Grindal. He does take and he takes a strike borderline call might have been outside. But it goes to the Red Sox way three and one take another. Take another. Brandao looked like he just kinda backed off played a little bit a little bit further away. Schiff? He's expecting a cutter inside price beset. I am a three one swing and a foul back three and two. He did not take another. He went after it Amar right down the middle. Yeah. I think what needs to happen here with Bella. Drove their first base go on the pitch. Three two. You want to get picked out. Sure goes the plate, but get going trusted grandma's gonna put it in place somewhere as opposed to state party pizza ball in the infield. And it's an inning ending double play for these managers have some tough decisions through backed up there with the stakes being as high as they are. Bryce staring in. Your hands on his knees. Watching the pitcher. Price has the side. There goes the rudder they throw behind and they got him caught around down warlord the Bogart's back to Marlin now hold. We'll chase him back to I put the tag autumn. Bellinger is out. They guest guest, right? Just a little too anxious. There's bellinger. I liked the idea, but you almost have to treat it like a hit and run with the lefty on the mound. Like that make sure that he doesn't hang in throw over the first base you're giving up a little bit allowing him to commit to the plate. But again your trust is that the hitters gonna put the ball in play. Or it's going to be ball four. So caught stealing one two three six three four on the put out and now there are two down. And nobody on started off such a promising fashion for the dodgers. And that's to outpatients empty at a three and two count on Grondahl. Bryce has assigned. When it was wind up and the pitch and he missed outside ball four. Here comes out scoring surprisingly. About a right. He's coming out. He wants timber. As made maybe sign if it got to believe to take the ball..

"Giving us what is it just say eight seven eight different winners so far this year now in the cup series as of course you had kyle busch's excitingly last week of chicago we wish we could i wish i had more time to talk about that this morning but the the race last week in chicago with larsen ambush their thrilling finish you had larson go going for the the slide job on kyle busch and kind of whipping on that but still making contact with kyle busch in taking the lead and then kyle return the favor and drove straight into larson the lucid a mop and then just are i just love kyle after the race doing the the crybaby face make a mocking the fans that were doing him for for bumping larson but i thought it was fair play once kyle kyle larson got into kyle busch i thought it was fair play for bush to come back but kyle now at five wins harvick with five wins tricks his three wins and then now you've got lugano boyer with to austin dillon an eric jones as your only other drivers to win so far this year so that does give us a four five six seven just seven winner still and we are eighteen races through the season we'd is at eight racist to go here in the regular season and you know the number of playoff position that will be decided by points again there will be plenty to be had for jones the while the he didn't need the win he was probably going to get in on points he was east kind of in he was starting to kind of get the insurance to kind of keep keep himself kind of locked in on points for the rest of the regular season the lungs they didn't have didn't just fall apart later on in the regular season but now he is guaranteed to postseason one of anything to worry about going forward here is he is thirteenth in points coming out of daytona last night he's just behind jimmy johnson who was twelve th in the standings but now that again he is locked in and stenhouse for for his efforts last night he is actually the first driver out on points right now because of austin dillon with his win but being eighteenth and points that means fifteenth place in the standings as kind of the cutoff in that belongs to alex bowman in the he's got nineteen points on ricky stenhouse but that gap is really starting to widen for the drivers in versus the drivers out on points bones up nineteen and stenhouse he's got four twenty six then you gotta go back to palm naarden he's even farther back three seventy once that's almost fifty point gap that's more than a race worth for minardi makeup to catch bowman and then you go it will dylan's in on points but he's almost eighty backup bowman and then behind him as ryan newman and newman is merely one hundred out so really i mean we could go into a month from now when there's a couple races to go in the regular season and really the playoff field could be locked in solid and and these last couple race of the regular season may might not matter much outside of a driver strictly getting a win to qualify for the postseason if they're not in our points because the guys in points might be this kind of clinch their positions before we even get through the regular season finale at at richmond later on this year let's go to eighteen t hotline though and bring in the general manager that eucosat motor speedway alex nagy joins us on the line alex's dave buchanan down here in buffalo good morning good morning good to talk to you once again we we got to a chat a bit earlier this year at lancaster with the the race achieved paeans modified series and we're finally now just six days away from a very highly anticipated event at your racetrack alex with.
