"Camp, if there hasn't been a ton of that coming out of the red Sox camp, and we talk about pitching staff, certainly starting staffs that are in danger of not being able to take the ball every time. The Red Sox will be the first team you'd present and say, look at the names. And if this was 2015, then you had Paxton and sales in Kluber, yeah, they'd have a real, really good team with really good arms, but it's 2023. Things have gone well for them. I don't think Alex Cora ever, as a manager, puts a team out there that won't give it a 100%, but do I get off a pessimistic bandwagon that the bleacher tweet sent in? Look, baseball's about hope and faith. You should always have that as a fan, but I think realistically, you know, the Red Sox are not a team that's going to win 95 games. Doesn't mean they could surprise us, but I would probably still lean on the side of pessimism than it would optimism, but also put nothing past the value of Alex Cora and the chemistry and all the things that you need intangibly to win. The question is, do they have the players that are good enough to do it? Yeah, I told you the story last week of one of my conversations with Rafael Devers. When he asked me, how good do you think will be? And I said, I don't think it would be very good, but the most important thing this year is that you guys come together. You know, I folded my fingers together and that way I said that was the way it was in 18. That's the way it was in 2021. And my feeling was they were in a better place emotionally when we were around them last week, Carl, you know? I agree. You just felt like as opposed to last year when they had just, I'm sure the players just heard about the Bogart's offer, which was embarrassing. One third of what he eventually signed for with the Padres, you know, Trevor story had just signed a lot of uncertainty among the players about who was coming, who was going, there is a different feel around that team. Before you go, how cool is it to see Shohei Ohtani just put on a show every day, it feels like that this is a precursor for one of the most amazing seasons we're ever going to see from any player. I hope so. You know, again, the WBC is a really, really phenomenal, unique event. And when you can see the enthusiasm and I watched the game this morning from the fans over there, which we were exposed to during our Korean baseball exercise. And to see him high fiving, you Darvish and being on the same team and the red Sox sending their new investment to that team and they're tipping their caps to each other, et cetera. It's very cool. I just don't, I don't know that it translates to major league baseball because it major league baseball to me it feels like that guy's gonna kill us if we pitch to him. I know we can't prevent what he does on the mound, but you've got to pitch him carefully. He's so dynamic. He's such a unique player. He is the most well rounded player on the planet and may go down in history as the most well rounded baseball player. We've ever seen. So the WBC stage to me, if this ends with team Japan, maybe facing the United States, the sign me up all day, all night, every day, all year. I'm being on that. And one guy who is off to a great start in the WBC is large nude bar who you and I talked to before he took off. We were in the Cardinals camp. Boy, this looks like the perfect launch point for a young player, Carl 'cause he's having so much fun intense at bats and Ted's atmosphere, all the other Japan players are doing the grind the pepper things that he showed. It's pretty cool. Made a great catch in the game that was played this morning. So I could see large new bar absolutely taking off from this event. There's a lot of cardinals that I think are prepared to take off. I mean, that's the one thing that being with the Cardinals and doing their game in spring, they're not all the same player, but many of them are of the same age and seem to have the same potential. Which is sort of a sky. Newt Barr is one of the exciting players as is Donovan as is Gorman. The names go on and on. Exactly. Jordan walker. That's the beauty of the Cardinals right now, and it's great to see the last thing you'd say about the WBC and somebody like newt Barr performing or ohtani going over to Korea and performing the team that the United States has built, which is better than any all star team that's ever been put together offensively. Is the universal language of this sport. It's such a reminder that you can play this across the globe and the number of people that would be interested in attending the games in having a real sincere authentic interest in the games and the players to me is it blows away every other sport. And the world baseball classic, like the little league World Series, reminds us that baseball is still, it may not be the current national pastime. It is, to me, the world's past time, and I'm sure soccer people will put up a fight against that. And that may be legitimate one. But relative to football, relative to basketball, baseball, steel is the one that resonates to me. And I know soccer is similar, but baseball shines when the WBC has played. All right, have fun and I will talk to you next week. Hi, buddy. See you guys. Thanks.

"The Red Sox are 14 and 5 when they're starting picture throws at least 6 innings winning each of the last 8 such games in 13 of their last 14. Now, I don't know if in those how many in those 19 games there are 14 and 5 record. Our quality starts, meaning 6 innings and three runs allowed. Well, so just what stands out to me there is when the starter goes deeper into game, they're better. And again, I don't know if we have other numbers branching off of that, but what I would be interested in is when the starter doesn't go 6 innings. But still leaves with a lead, what is their record? I don't think it's good. And that's my point. You need to do everything to shield this bullpen in high school. I do not let them see the light a day. More to the point, Alex. You need to do more to shield the middle part or the long end of the bullpen. In 6th inning part of the bullpen and maybe even the 7th. But certainly you don't want to be if you're Alex Corey, you're doing everything possible to avoid going to your bullpen in the 5th and 6th innings. And I think a lot of managers are doing that, but especially a guy like Alex Cora, who really has some very good arms at the back end, but getting there has proved problematic. And when the Red Sox struggled with a couple of exceptions, the bullpen has really struggled in those medium innings, holding the game where it is when the start it left. Right. And so that's where, again, putting chrysal in the rotation doesn't, it's counterproductive in two ways. One, when he starts, you're going to need to rely more on the middle of the bullpen. In two, if he's in the bullpen, he becomes the guy. You talk about, you know, the 5th 6th, 7th inning, kind of being the danger zone, where you go from, I mean, whoever they're throwing out there now, Ryan brazier, Austin, Austin, Davis has been good. But you get my point. Yes. These names, you go from those guys to Chris sale in those innings. And it's an upgrade. So that's why I think it just makes more sense to go that way. "I'm not sure if he can be that big of a difference maker as a starter, I think maybe Anthony was a fourth or 5th starter where I think how could maybe be a third or fourth? Starter, honestly, so that's pretty good. And how's this going to bigger frame, too? He looks like a starter, man. Yeah. You know? Nick Prague. He's he fits in there plants, right? Yeah, put that exactly. That really, he really showed me something this year. His good starts were really, really good. What pavetta needs to do now is the next step in his development is to be able to go through the order of that third time through and prove that he's not just a 5 minute pitcher. Because one of the keys to that ALCS was record took him out. He was pitching a brilliant game. He had 5 innings, two hits. I think it was one run and that game against Houston took him out because his third time through the order stats were terrible. So he's going to show that he can do that third time through the order. He could take his game to another level. Yeah, he really impressed me with this competitive, mister Joe. Well, I'm going to wrap it up in with a quote that you have in your he said column from Alex Cora. And I think it wraps up the season very nicely for what I think by all estimations all analysis this year was an overachieving 2021 Red Sox team. Alex Cora, quote, I told them how proud I am. It's an amazing group. It's a group that we will always remember. Alex Cora on your 2021 Red Sox, you want to add anything to that? Yeah, I thought it was a great quote. Look, this team tracks the team this reminded me that most of really my time covering the team was 2003 because the team just had so many ups and downs and so many ups and downs and you know, I think a fan would hate this team one day and then love them the next day. And I was just like, the roller coaster, but they always seem to find a way to get back up. And as they said back, they didn't have the cowboy up slogan Chamberlain. Right. To sort of get up off the mat. And I think that Boston relates to a team like that. And they fell in love with this team because they got hot just when everybody started to give up on them at the end of the regular season and the beginning.

"So you find that out, not surprisingly. And the Red Sox have the perfect guy picking the players. So when you've got high in bloom and Alex core together, the front office pieces settled, the managerial pieces settled. This team is set up for a very long run. Red Sox photographer Billy Weiss, and I'm sure you're very familiar with them. Took a very poignant shot of Alex Cora giving a hug to Kiki Hernandez after game 6 after the season was over. And to me, your point about there's a lot more below the surface to Alex Cora and him knowing his players than what meets the eye. And to me, that picture. And I don't know if you saw it will, but sure in the dugout in the Clubhouse. Clubhouse. Correct. And that captured the essence. I thought Billy did a terrific job capture in the essence of what is Alex Cora. He can be a stickler. He has high expectations. But there's nobody in that organization more supportive of his players than Quora. No, and the players love him back. And we have to remember, he's known in key case since he was ten years old, and recruited him to the red side. Oh, that's a great point. Listen, come get under my wing and we're gonna make you an everyday star and look what happened. You just went on the run of his lifetime and looks like he's gonna be a fixture in Boston for a lot of years. But, you know, we have the benefit of being around this team every day. And I just marvel like in the dugout, an hour before every game, Rafi devra sits next to Alex every single day. And they're not talking based, while they're talking about life and fatherhood and what it's like to navigate life as a big league baseball player. It's not X's and O's. It's not, you know, here's the technique we need you to use over a third base. This guy is a great, brilliant baseball tactician, but that embrace from, you know, it's another embrace also Mike that really stands out to me. That's one with his daughter after the Red Sox have defeated the New York Yankees in that wild card game. He's talked about it a lot. The journey that his family went on with him throughout all the scandal. And the support they gave him. And the fact that everybody can just exhale and enjoy it again. You just can't say enough things about Alex core and what he means to this franchise to his players to the fans. It's just a perfect marriage. I want to move on to some of the issues that this team will be facing. I guess the number one issue that is garnering a lot of attention is whether or not 5 days after the World Series JD Martinez picks up his option of a believe it's 17 and a half, 18 million bucks for 2022. What do you think happens? I mean, if there's a team out there that's willing to give him more money and he and Scott Forrest can navigate that. God bless him. And you know he's 34. And he's an unbelievable prolific run producer. My hunch is, if you just put, you know, put me to it. I would say he will take that option and stay with the Red Sox. But one caveat I would offer is, number one, there's a likelihood that we'll have the universal DH in the national league. So that opens up to you more jobs for him. The other side of it is I would say that maybe there's a team out there that Scott Boris could convince JD, you know what? This is our last chance to get a longer term and we're not talking 5, 6 years, but let's say Scott could come to and say, you know, JD, I could get you three for 60. And there's a team.

"That's the messaging so far. So now it's a little bit confusing because yes, if you want to sit here, I know there's plenty of fans who we believe it to an extent. If you want to sit here and believe Aaron Boone is a puppet from the front off for the front office, that's valid. A lot of the decision making would suggest that. However, do you think Boone is a big enough puppet to stay on his manager and then have nobody around him that was appointed by him and he's the guy who's supposed to be leading the dugout. I don't know. I really don't know about that. And if he is, if he is okay with that, that's an that's a gigantic red flag for me. It's so stop saying red flags. We said we weren't talking about it today. It's so funny. It really makes it does call into question what you think a puppet is and what you've been referring to when you've said puppet this entire time. 'cause I think, you know, Aaron Boone is a puppet is a hilarious refrain. I thought, in my mind, Aaron Boone being a puppet meant he was an extension of the front office that he had a vote but not the overwhelming vote, and he was sort of just Brian cashman's way to sneak into the dugout. And they were aligned. We talked to our friend Gabrielle star yesterday. We talked her a lot. We like her. She's great. Even though the Red Sox suck. And she pointed out that Alex Cora and high in bloom, high in bloom went into the rehiring of Alex core looking for a partner and found one and Alex core is a great manager and that sort of why that ridiculous team has had all that success. I personally didn't think the boon cashman partnership was really any different. I thought that was why you couldn't fire cashman because Boone was intrinsic to his tenure, because cashman hand picked him as his voice in the locker room. That's what I thought a puppet meant. Really, up until this moment, cashman feeds the boon, boon feeds to the team, but Boone isn't disagreeing with Kashmir. If Boone were ever disagreeing with catchment, I didn't think we would think of him as a puppet. Now I'm worried that the 2022 version of Aaron Boone could be a true puppet and perhaps he has been this for a long time if cashman is going to be dictating his coaches for. If cashman is going to be firing film Evan, his close friend, because Boone doesn't have the ability or where with all to do it himself. Maybe then we know nothing about Aaron Boone the manager because maybe everything we hate is Brian cashman the manager..

"Funny, funny, though that this is happening, I enjoy I enjoy the trash talking and hopefully it motivates the White Sox to push this to 5 games because I think that would be a really, really electric game 5 on the road. And then, hey, maybe the Astros respond and say, yeah, we're just going to kick your ass at minute maid park and that's going to be that's going to be the fun part of it of it all. Yeah, I really, I really have nothing else to say about the Astros because they pissed me off and obviously I think they're going to cake walk into the ALCS and do I think the cheating is still happening? Probably not. Do I think maybe it could be? Sure. Everyone is saying like the core of that Astros team is gone from 2017. And I'm like, what are you talking about? Marwyn Gonzalez. Everyone's like, yeah, Alex Cora's gone. No, marwan Gonzales is there. He's right. Yeah. He went back there. So they're like, yeah, Alex core has gone, Carlos Beltran has gone, like all these guys are gone and Ryan McCann is gone. Having gaddis has gone, I'm just like, dude, they have Jose Altuve. They have Carlos Correia, marwin is back. They have Julie guriel. They have Alex Bregman. That's the core of their team. The core of their team, if you're just talking three players, is Altuve Correa and Bregman. And they've been there the entire time. So I don't know why anybody would think that, oh, okay, yeah. A few players left like the supposed ringleaders left in Alex Cora and Carlos Beltran. You think there's no influence left behind? Okay, great, then that's the worst logic that you could possibly put forth. I don't necessarily think they're continuing to do this, but I also would not be surprised if white socked players had a hunch that something was going on if they were relaying the fact that the Astros, the White Sox players were tipping pitches or whatever it may be for you to be surprised that that might be happening again is the joke's on you at that point..

All right, switching gears to baseball where the Red Sox should have been the lead story today, but the Patriots always have to step in and steal some thunder shun . But hey, look, they did it. All of the concern, everything that we had spoken about talked about leading up here, Red Sox took care of business at home against the Yankees in a one game wild card in a very fun environment, which you were there and got to take in. And honestly, relatively, you know, breezy game for them. They get out to an early lead of all these lights out. They make a key defensive play, and the Yankees didn't really put up a ton of fight where you surprised how this game went. Yeah, I thought this was going to be a more competitive game, maybe very much in doubt going down to the last three or 6 outs and that wasn't the case from the Bogart's home run in the first. They took the lead. They never trailed. Most of the night was a multi run lead, so you built in a little comfort factor there. You know, if Alex Cora had attempted to draw up how he wanted the night to go, I suspect it would have looked very much like what we saw. Yeah, I'd say the one thing for sure, maybe not having to get quite so many outs from your bullpen, but to their credit three and two thirds innings and they acquitted themselves incredibly well. It looked like a valdi was gonna get them through 6, possibly even 7 the way he was throwing. But other than that, yeah, I mean, just such a clean game by the Red Sox, which really obviously bodes well moving forward. Now taking.

"Back and forth here. A lot of people don't think he'd was going up there to pull a lot on yankees on the on bronx trips and i think when i screen shot it was like twenty seven percent or twenty five percent think that he was going out there to seventy five percents that he got denied this. That's the reality. He thinks that he was out there to assess. That's the reality of the situation. I i agree. And i think that i don't want to say that. That shows that boone doesn't have the trust of his team because again like i said i want air coal to refuse to come out of the game in that situation so i like that but i just think it's it it's a microcosm for how out of touch boone is for the moment of the game for a manager that we didn't have those same feelings about in this moment right. Let's say we. We thought that he had a tone like leading up to this point. Everything's been alex. Cora who i think has a good feel for a game and he came out there and then and then someone sent him back in a similar way. Exact same scenario happened. It's not aygun. Alex cora's facing that's right because he's just like okay and he's listening to the guy. Yeah because that would probably say is that. I went out there to pull him call. Call yelled at me and said no which is fine. Spe- right. don't don't hide behind. What was what the reality of the situation is and i think chorus honesty and his When i talked to jennings last jennings said the thing that alex cora does best as a manager is knows when and who on his team he can call out and who. He needs to back publicly. It's not always back baby. Sometimes he'll call guy out if he thinks the guy deserves to be called out and he thinks he can handle it and and to me. That shows that the manager has control of the situation. I think boone lets the moment. Run him versus boone. Running the moment that plays to that a lot of that actually plays to the way and the reasons why he was hired. Run run the moments with the numbers have good combat talk about the numbers of nine overdose. Saying it's almost because of that. He's out of the moment. He's out of the moment moments already chosen for him. In this case it was chosen for him. He was doing exactly what we thought he would do. Go out there and try to get the left for two lefties in theory. that sounds great but not understanding. What actually the situation is and who they are and where they are in this moment goes away from the the numbers and it. Actually you have to use your eye test. You have to use your your your baseball. Feel so time we'll tell because the yankees could come out of the all star break like we've talked about. They have ten of their first twelve games against boston. And they have three games right. After that against tampa i was going to withhold judgment. No matter the outcome of this series. Even though i was going to be very excited that they could have completed the sweep. And i i was gonna feel good. I was still going to withhold judgment to see how they played against boston. How they played against tampa. And i'm still doing that like this loss or not. I still think the team is is severely flawed. But if they have much. I if they have a good first fourteen games out of the all-star break and win those series against boston and tampa. We're talking about the second half a baseball that everyone can get excited about and potentially adding a player to to the roster that theoretically could could help timings. Well that'd be great timing. Because i think when's that tampa series. I think that tampa series is right before the trade deadline right so they go is what they're philly the phillies and then tampa after boston. I think no. It goes four for four against boston to against philly four against boston. That's a three against tampa three against miami. So after tampa series is the twenty seventh twenty eighth and twenty nine. the trade deadline is is the thirtieth. Okay so right there. We're gonna know if the yankees split with boston at home and then loose thread a four against on the road and then lose two or three against tampa. What's the point of trying to acquire people at the deadline. This last the last episode. We were talking. And i mean if they're the yankees It's it's a much smaller percentage. Obviously because the windows tight but there's that last wildcard spot that's theoretically coming out of either toronto or the second second place team in the al west and that's our window. That's their window. If they cannot beat the earliest i just. I've wanted a window. That's still a real window. That's still a still a very real window. You could set yourself up for for the end of the season. Potentially with more pitching coming back theoretically severino who knows the hell was kluber. Get somebody there's a lot of things that can happen to set yourself up to get into that. Last wildcard spot and still make a run could still happen but it's a tight window..

They don't hit his many home runs, but Boston coming in with a 32 and 20 record. These guys. They're first in O. P. S in the American League. Second in runs per game should be a good one. They were one of the teams with a losing record that got into the postseason and they went deep into the postseason close to make it into the World Series. So you know pretty impressive what they did with that. So I'm sure Dusty Baker a little more comfortable this year, knowing his personnel is a swell better having a better feel for what they've got the ultimate training site. "He is dead, isn't in the conversation for best shortstop. He is the best. Shortstop, you don't know if you feel the same way, like forgave, oh. It's a flashier shortstop, but first of all, he's a much worse defensive shortstop much worse, right? And and I used to have this debate in the Press Box at Fenway with somebody who worked for mlb.com, actually, the statcast baseball sauvage. And I said, look, I think Xander Bogaerts is a great hitter. I think he's a good defensive player. I and that was, you know, 2014-2015 wage. I think he's become a great defensive shortstop, and he's really matured. And that's what that's the part of the game of that. I think he worked on the most refined his skills and what not correct me if I'm wrong but that's where I think he's grown really. As a, there's no question, there's no question. And, you know, it's not whatever the analytics show, I will tell you the, the eye test will will suggest that he not only makes the plays, but then every once awhile, he makes the above-average play to me in, in, in Cora had mentioned this, he's the strongest shortstop in baseball, and I think Bush was saying, was a, he's a bigger shortstop, obviously, when we think bigger shortstops, I think Ripken right, Ripton, okay. He was barely moving around in second half of his career. Shouldn't really have been playing dead. Hey, Ron. Obviously the he was too big to save. You know, he needed to move the third, your guide. Barry Larkin. He's a big guy, right? That really, you know, he's six foot long, he play he was a big guy. He's lost weight, he's on the Reds. TV crew here in Cincinnati and he does he actually does a great job. I wanted to get to Jesse Winker and Nick Castellanos office before we conclude but no Barry was He was average sized. Dave Concepcion was bigger than than very large. Yeah, but he was skinnier. Yeah, so, you know, you look at Bogart's, he's 6 to, I think he's listening to 6 to 2:18 a.m. but he's solid, right? And so, I just look at when you were talking to this conversation about the best shortstop, I don't think it's a tell me, who's better, like, you have to tell me who's been off all around? I mean, this would be the only guy that would but he's terrible defensively, right? I I'm not arguing Rob, I'm just playing this game. This is where we are. You sure it's all about production. It's very little, I mean there are metrics on defense. I get that certainly are runs prevented and whatnot, but so much of the game is so I'm pitching numbers, spin rates, and in offense, o p s and slash lines, and that's it. And that's how decisions are made on rosters. Yeah well and then, you know, you know why I mean, because you can lean on a team like Tampa look at Campos baffling to me and and you look at well, why is tax so good and not only could this you're the good every year? Yes, because you have Manuel Margot, you know, six six t o p s or whatever it clean up and and you know you go down the line and you lose Charlie Morton and you lose flakes now and you're still in it and really a big part of it is because of, you know, they're leaving a lot of stuff that you talk about but also this go back to defensive part of it. Like they're really good defensive team, very very so when you don't have the payroll right, role pays primarily for offense and defensive depth. Yes. And and so does that tell you what is almost more important now? And this is and unfortunately, you know what happens is that you have teams saying to their ownership..

"Alex Cora in Houston as wage. Kick off a four-game series, a big tough stretch for the Red Sox coming up Rob. They haven't forgotten about Alex Cora in, Houston know, I mean, how can I mean, you think back in that track? I don't know what your initial reaction, obviously, it was a big mess, a big cluster, and everything else. But as we sort of get away from it, like one of the things that I really like is increasingly bothersome to me, is the Players being so willing to just basic, like Cora was a core was a sweet spot of this, right? Let's make no mistake about it, right? He was the guy who was out of the organization, who wasn't a player That they could they could say boom. That's our guy and he deserved a lot of it. There's no question about it, but is mind-boggling looking back at it. How long you had all these players? Just get off accountability? Yeah, no accountability. I would agree with that. I think that's fair but I think a lot of these players are so conditioned. You know that I'm talking to all of them from the minor leagues on up, even before the minor leagues in amateur ball, high school. If they're playing at a high level Cape Cod, whatever look for an advantage and Advantage equals cheating. I mean, let's it's another term for it. So you from ISM for cheating is advantage and baseball and that's what they've grown up with. It's a culture of baseball and what mujhe pagal my mind is, you're asking these players to immediately change that culture overnight, and these players have become so accustomed and tome. But your job is to look for any advantage anywhere, you can get it and all of a sudden, don't do that anymore. Well, that's like stopping, you know, two hundred tonne freight train coming down the tracks, right? You're not home overnight. Oh no, you know, a little things like we had earlier this year, hit or looking into it. I forget what who it was, but him looking into the catcher's signal, you know, like just take a peek. Listen, I did that in Little League, you know, or whatever. I mean, this is what you do obviously stealing signs from second base. This is what you do. I think you're right. I think people get caught up in Iraq. Well, you know, everything is all of it is, is awful. How can you do that? And, but it's not this, it's not the the same level of banging on a trash can, right? Or or shovel of what Houston. I mean, they would have kept going with it. Let's be honest. And because this wasn't just about Cora. This wasn't just about hinge. This was about Lou. Now, this is about this keep going and we're good job. Smarter than everybody else, which by the way, they aren't alone. I mean make no mistake about it, but if you put it because the only way that players.

"And I thought he in January when they reintroduced him, he spent a good deal of time doing exactly that that the whole cheating scandal with Houston and what happened in his first year in Boston. Yeah, look Alex Parker. Have handled that situation. Any better than he did. Not where I think a lot of people in that situation would just be like a pull, the Mark McGwire. I'm not here to talk about the past kind of thing. Wouldn't fly here. I mean, just would not work giving birth. Yes, there it is. The significance of the situation, right? And he's just been extremely accountable and saying he knows how much he screwed up. And you know, he's so grateful for the second chance he didn't know, if I'm Bloom was going to give him that second chance. So when he got it, I think he just said look I'm going to be show how grateful I am and he's just really going to embrace this. The second chance he has to manage his team. I think he's not going to take it for granted at all, he's going to appreciate each day and his enthusiasm. It just jumps out of him everyday. Even on these Zoom calls. We have, he's just, he's on every day, you know, he never took over a day where he seems, you know, how kind of like tired or our run-down. He's, he just he loves what he's doing and he's, you know, he's embracing the highs, he's not getting to impacted by the Lowe's. He's just he's glad to be go through the whole process. Again, you know, I think that's impressive. Even considering that it's one thing to do that in a club house setting, or when you're interacting with us, like he did back in 2018. And on a day-to-day basis, it's totally another to try and and convey that across the zoom calls. And, you know, the calls that I've seen in the highlights. I've seen, it's exactly what you're describing. He just seems, he doesn't always have to be giddy, but he's seen energized in getting another chance with a team that he knows very well. Yeah, I think that he's really dead, you know, when you have something, you know, we all know and like you have something taken away from you, you appreciate it a little bit more when you get it back. And that's what I'm reading with, with Alex Cora, that's what I'm seeing in him, and even in 2915 things, didn't go great. He could be like a little bit snippy or defensive at times really, not at all this year. He's just like I said, he's just so grateful to be back in the spot. Cuz when you're just sitting home suspended for a year, you don't know how that's going to pan out. You don't know what your future is going to be, and just for him to wind up back with this team and to have them cuz he loves boss. Marquis. You know, he's another managerial Java, he loves his question, his daughter is going to be see in the fall and he just loves kind of all things Boston. So he and he loves the dog across thing cuz it's very much like where he grew up in Caguas Puerto Rico, or it's just baseball 24/7. So, he's just, he's so happy to be back that. He's really conveying that he's putting all his energy into.

Nonetheless, his punishment is every bit as severe as A. J. Hinch who was the manager and presumably the guy in charge in Houston. So as the top Lieutenant Chorus suffered the same penalty that the guy who was running the show. So sure I think he got off lightly he lost a year of salary. He lost he was exiled from the game for all the twenty twenty and his reputation is at least somewhat tarnished by association with that season does he come back I? Think it's on the table.
