"On use Radio 600 Kogo. Okay, I don't follow most of this nonsense of Hollywood. But every once in a while when You get these mouthy Hollywood elites who get caught up in their own hypocrisy. I just can't resist. It's just so good. So you have Alec Baldwin and you know he's part of the shrill crowd in Hollywood, you know, always attacking Republicans and smug and You know, it's just a This is a very, very bad person. OK? Um, uh, He also has a pretty bad anger management problem. Um His wife isn't her name is Hilaria Baldwin, Hillary to Hillary a Baldwin. Maria Baldwin. Um, she Came out or was caught actually. Lying about her claims to be of Spanish heritage. She actually has been living this life for apparently several years and even know who the hell she woz But for you know, 15 20 years that she was somebody She was. I'm from Spain and I came here is as a young girl young actress, and I'm new to this American dream. Apparently, she's been here far longer than she let on. They found photos of her going to Ah, very prestigious prep school, Um on, and, uh her name was Hillary and Now she's come out and said that someone else Uh, put out the story that she was of Spanish heritage, not not her. You've been living it 20 years, Okay? Don't give me this nonsense of those must been someone else. My publicist totally made a mistake here. And, uh, they dredged up some, Um, uh, footage of her phony as ever on the today show, uh, doing a cooking segment. She had to ask the anchor. What do you call this? And she she She raised up a cucumber. And what is your word? What is your word in America for this? And the host notice, the co host said. Yeah, it would be a cucumber, cucumber. Oh, you know, she's just totally faking her accent, all right? Faking an accent, faking this notion that she's from Spain. Why? I have no idea why she's just living. Ah lot. Now, if you are on the left instead of giving our pasts, which is what they're doing right now they're giving our past. You would say that she's trying to culturally appropriate. I don't care what she identifies as I don't get out of bed and I don't care whatsoever She wants to identify as you know. Ah, Black woman. Hey, you know, people have done that before, too. Don't just sit here and be smug about it. By the way. There is a rumor that she was really afraid about coming clean because she was afraid that Alex Alec Baldwin would punch her. All right? Maybe not today. Maybe not. That's just a rumor. Um uh, hey, does get out of control. He's gotten a lot of scrapes, and somehow he continues, torto avoid any sort of real punishment. You know who this reminds me of those? None other than Todd Gloria. Yes. Todd. Gloria, uh, came up with this story, and no one's really gonna fact check on it. He says, I'm the son of a maid and a Gardner. He says that all the time I'm the son of a maid and a Gardner. Promise is just not true. I'm sure his mom worked as a maid at some point. I'm thinking she did. I have been able to verify that or not, but I do know his dad. Was not a gardener. No. In fact, he was a very well paid executive at San Diego Gas and Electric for many years. Very, very good salary. Todd. Here's a memo just because your dad cut grass. Doesn't make him a gardener, all right? Just like if you did watercolor, when you were growing up in school, you are not a Mastro super painter. But he came up with this story. And the story isn't true. And no one in San Diego media has ever actually done any like basic research on it. We have Who is this made in Gardner. I thought his dad was an STD. Any engineer executive? Yep. He's an executive at STG any Very well compensated. Has been for decades. Maybe that was after he was a gardener. No. There was no gardener. Maybe maybe maybe he had a maybe is ah, Teenager before he went tost Jenny, Maybe he cut grass but to sit there and say, Well, you know My dad was a gardener. Because because why? Well, he cut grass at age 10 11 12. My Gramps told me about it. Then he went to. Ah Harvard University, got a Harvard law degree came out top of his class got a six figure job for some New York law firm. Um, then got a judgeship. And But you know what, my dad I'm the son of a gardener. No. You're not set of a six figure lawyer who became a big big deal, Judge. Don't tell me he said here, your arm. You're the son of a gardener. Why? Well, he did have a you did cut grass in the neighborhood for a few years as a teenager. It doesn't count Todd. It may sound good, but it doesn't count. Nobody wanted to do the story on to Gloria. The son of a gardener. No, he You know, don't diminish your dad. I mean, that's pretty offensive. To diminish your father. He's an executive at S T g. N E. He's probably proud of the fact that he worked hard to get that job. That provided you with a decent upbringing. I was an orphan e don't I don't. I don't play that one up a lot. But.

"And Eric Pots. Billion for Steve Travel, Lise. Background music, courtesy of their pot. I was just awful. I wasn't even joined 1 800 to 8311.5 is the phone number now. I was reading here that Supermarket sweep is back, Eric. Okay, Now we talked about this last hour. How you know, summer is coming to a close when and it kind of transitions into this hour because, you know, summer's coming to a close when you start hearing about the new show is coming up for the fall. Leslie Jones is hosting supermarket sweep coming out in October. And I was like, Whoa, Supermarket sweep was my favorite game show. I loved it. That's that, like shop like you drop. It's like you run around with the card, right? No. You just run around and go into a supermarket, run around, throw hams and turkeys into your shopping cart and see how much money you could spend. And when I'm at the supermarket And I'm bagging. It's so like I pretend far there have been times where I want to get in and out of the supermarket and I'm flying around in there like I pretend like I'm on supermarket sweep it. I love that game shows so much and I'm omitting way too much on the radio right here. But it is the truth. I love supermarkets, we so I mean, like that when I heard about this, so the premise of the game is for you to run around the super might like is it You're going against somebody, or is it just you by yourself or something? You You have to stuff your card and see who spends the most right? Yeah, pretty imagine you'd always want to go get diapers, and so are you competitive and looking at other people As you're running around, saying they have bored me and you start throwing Maurin I would just go for speed. And then when I would get up to the cashier $750 later I would start with the new game would be like how fast can I bagged the stuff? Very weird, But it got us thinking when I mentioned this to you, that is that is the funniest thing I've ever heard of. Yeah, Yeah. So it got us thinking about best game shows of all time of all times. So we're going all time like there's the amazing race and all those kind of things are they considered game shows what you're crying. You're winning. So you other game shows. I mean, there there. You know, long extended game shows be, I'd say so. Okay, So we're counting those as well, but you could go back to any game show ever. Match game with Gene Rayburn. That that is absolutely one of the funniest game shows ever. That's game with Gene Gene Rayburn. Not there. Not with these new people and not with what's his name. What's the guy now? Alex. Alec Baldwin. Alec Baldwin hosts. Not not that you got to go back with Gene Rayburn and and Richard Dawson on there, and Charles Nelson Reilly. That's they were funny. They were really because you know, they used to get they used to be drinking. Yeah, No, I won't watch the special They were drinking. This show you could tell because they used to take a certain amount of shows a day. And there was this shows before dinner date before dinner Word fairly. You know, well behaved, and when they came back from dinner, and they were all slashed, the game's got out of it. That's what didyou watch like a documentary. Yeah, of course. You know you and I a documentary We see when we're clicking on. We're watching it. All right. So I would have to say that supermarket sweep? Yes, that would be one of my favorites. But I have other ones as well. But I want other people to call in and let us know what your favorite game show of all time. 1 800 to 83101.51 800 to 831 on 1.5 and listen, Maybe you don't want him anymore. But you remember Watching them as a kid. You remember watching them with your family? Because those are like the memories. I remember watching all these game shows with my sister. And it just Oh, yes, Memories. Now. Do I watch game shows today? No. I mean, maybe too. I mean, I I will ever fortune every once in a while. I've never missed an episode of Survivor. Really? Never. I haven't watched them all alive. I've recorded him obviously, but I've never missed. I've watched every single episode of Survivor since the game has got 30 seasons, which is 15 years because I do too a season. So, but for 15 years, I have never missed an episode of Survivor 20 years. I think it's 40 or so it's 20 years now. It's been on. Really? Why that show? I don't know. I like it. I just love her. I just I just I find it. Ah, I just like it. I mean, I I've been watching it for again. Like I said, 20 years, so I'd never stopped watching. I watch every episode. Every single one for forever. I started watching like this Iko challenge. I think it was with Bear Grylls. I watched that they're out. Yeah, that That's a tough That's a tough that is a but that's not like did you watch alone? You got to check out alone where they go out. They send these people out and they're out there alone and they got the camera crew, but they're not allowed to interact with them or anything. These people get emaciated, and it's it's Oh, yeah, watching, And that would be good because I'm loving the the woman bear Grylls like alone. That's been good, but I'm probably like five episodes, and I'm like, binge watching that right now, so I still have more to do, But I don't consider them like game shows. I consider them survival ship. Well, they still want a prize. So I mean, you're winning $100,000. I think it is $500,000 for for alone. I don't know what is for the ICO Challenge. But the ICO challenge, though that would be something that I would want to do for a day, like put me in there for a day, So we'll see how I d'oh. That is a crazy race that is that. Wow, enough. Yeah, Just the first day alone. I was like, what the first day for 38 hours. Just rowing a boat. Get out of your mind That mine is that part of the challenges Look fun, but how, like the extreme weather and how long there? For it that that's a little extreme. All right, so 1 800..

"But this is a completely new fantasy property it's a little steam punk definitely for adults there's a lot of us scary as this fantasy creatures sex going on in it but essentially it it's about Orlando bloom characters the scenes characters best beginning a series of Jack the Ripper style murders in this murders in this city where fantasy creatures and regular humans live side by side it's kind of saying things a little bit about a refugee crisis but it's not really tied to any particular place or time or anything like that I will tell you how to watch the whole series it's a bit of a mass simply much later fantasy of the dark crystal which were talking about earlier but I really couldn't stop watching it it's up a line of game of thrones staff to Tennessee cliches but it's occasionally ponders occasionally good action in it don't look for something particularly deep or anything like that in terms of a brand new fantasy world its get tough okay sounds good and again that's called Karnal row and strapping on Amazon today correct yeah what do you make of this you know Disney has this this new platform on were there and it's like a pay per view station but it's all Disney they just announced that on that station there will be NO R. rated content set a good move for that move I think that's a very distinguished of is what it is and I believe you're talking about Disney class which is extremely odd last corporates lodging on November twelfth and that's the Disney company you know at the don't really release are rated movie is very typically they're aiming for families right now they actually owned two string platform stay on Hulu and also Disney class the one they're launching Disney plus is gonna be home to you all of the Star Wars movies and TV shows it could be on to a lot of the Marvel stuff on to lot of things like high school musical they're doing a reboot of lady and the tramp so I think that move their smart because if you have kids going into this app you don't want them suddenly coming on an R. rated movie when they're browsing through high school musical or something it makes a little more focus it makes it more mainstream and frankly from movie perspective if you look at the top movies across the board there pretty much all peachy thirteen so aiming for that I think it's a smart business decision remind me to get out of it hello Sir go ahead now is the flip side of it is that they also own who do yeah and that's a place where if they really want to put our rated content to probably put it on there because that's home to your variety of different jobs Disney is always been very savvy about that they've always known you know how to market their product in terms of where Disney were family but then they also have like remember when they they came up with touchstone pictures where it was Disney but it was more adult Disney more PGA harder P. G. thirteen or are rated Disney yeah I think that's changed a little bit you know they recently bought box so a lot of that is still in flux but it certainly looks like fox could take that question place if that's really the route they want to go but as right now again if you look at the top TV shows you look at the top movie is all of it is Disney stuff they've been insanely popular this year and last year in particular and the year isn't even over they have released person to yet they have released last Star Wars movie at so they're dominating with these things that are very squarely aiming for the PC key demographic survey could bake you know fifty touchdown style movies and maybe make a fraction of what they make with one Marvel movie so why not go for the marble building part of the things they do is obviously got their kind of indigenous properties and characters and it's unlimited what they can do with that and I think if you look at the kind of the baseline of what happens at Disney it's it's success and profitability when you have some of these other kind of franchises out there they just go up and and snapping up in Bible your thoughts on on that as far as sort of this consolidation of really what it is that we're seeing a lot of these very successful big budget movies is it's all got sort of that Disney perspective they've adjusted a little bit for different demographics but do you think that's a good thing or there should there should be more broken up like with independent kind of groups kind of coming up with the entertainment well listen I think ultimately you would have to say that yes it should be broken up if you like art creative things I go see every Marvel movie I love that I guess you every Star Wars movie I love they're great they're fantastic I'm not saying anything bad about them whatsoever but if you look at what Disney's first move was when a black box is they canceled some of the weirder more interesting projects that were coming out of it there is a comic that I absolutely dearly love call now scarred which is all about these little mice but at this very lord of the rings style world where they go on adventures and fight serious but it's a family friendly box was adapting it for a movie that's one of the first things Disney just straight up they were like now we're not gonna do that nobody knows what that is that's not gonna work maybe it would have worked maybe it would learn something new but we do have now and ultimately like you were saying Disney is not going to you word creative risks in the same way but okay twenty five percent fifty percent on a creative Chris can say something like what Marvel did a couple years ago when they're releasing guardians of the galaxy everybody thought okay you've done the super hero movies but bringing in a talking racoon a talking tree I don't know if that works but at the same time it's in the Marvel universe they were building it as part of this epic film cycle so it already had this small guarantee okay people are going to come into the theater so we put out that you miss those chances you miss those old ideas coming out of cinema so yes ultimately there should always be smaller companies more chances for people to put out the art but frankly nine to wrap up this very lengthy monologues and right now that's part of the democratization of the internet I think is that of Disney is not allow that it believes people can make their art and put it other place now local and the people who want to find it are going to track those things down very good very good we talked a little bit on the show the other day about Saturday Night Live announcement that Leslie Jones is leaving the show which server surprise a lot of people myself included into that coming but here's my question Alex Alec Baldwin has said he's done playing Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live is that true and if it is true who is gonna play Donald Trump answered in a lot I will believe it when I see it he has said several times as well that's it I've dealt with plain drop by check the plane dropped I don't know why they keep making the play trump and Benny just chairs out of place struck again so I don't know maybe maybe you serious this time maybe but I would be stunned if the next season does not open up with Alec boss stages trump work less of what his publicly say there's a bunch of tax from people who want to know about their favorite shows and if they're coming back and if so when they're coming back let me just give a couple to you number one is dead to me that's the Christina Applegate show from last season they they announced as soon as they ran it that there's going to be a second season do we know when it'll be we don't know when it'll be yet just because Netflix is only eight releases the release dates about a month in advance but there's definitely gonna be a second season of at it got any nominations it was a big cat sort of we're gonna see more of that and hopefully for a long time another texture wants to know about another season of Ozark that's happening but we don't know when either right that's true but I would think probably sooner rather than later they've been selling that one for awhile and it's been about a year at this point since the last season was released so this is not definite by any means but I would be shocked if we don't see it before the end of the year seven seven three a Texan seven seven three says I have heard that there's going to be a reboot of lost is that true do you know if that's true or not right now I would say that's not true that's been something of that bumped around for a very long time in fact when Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse real show runner some lost or giving interviews for the finale they said listen we're finishing up the story we tell but this is such a popular show somebody's gonna rebooted at some point so it's not happening yet there's no serious plans or anything like that police according to them they're open to the idea of somebody else is taking over running with it whether EBC watched it at the current time is or if they question what's the show though there's some preview that I saw the other day for some show where there is a plane crash in there some girl that mysteriously shows up by the plane crash and it would you know what I'm talking about I don't know what that show is but I just saw the previous day well that sounds like a million different shows at TV the manifesto there is not as not manifest because that was on last year but this is a new one with the girl that was on Fargo in the first season gosh you know what that is there is a next I don't know if this is what you're talking about but there is a network show called the highland that is coming up pretty soon if you just drop for that but that's about a bunch of kids who get stranded on an island in there may be some supernatural stuff going on and that looks maybe a little bad but service this year these applets way so if you're putting together show you one either have a plane crash or an island or both even both teams with superpower yeah that's always good all right well I I think I know just like that are you talk about emergence yeah that's the one that's the one you ad that's premiering on ABC on September twenty fourth and I I need to.

S. Virgin Islands he signed a non prosecution agreement in that case which was overseen that case was overseen by Alex Acosta who is now president trump's secretary of labor right and not agreement now is at the center of another court case the case that we're talking about that where he is being held is out of the Southern District of New York right first right now so the first case was in Florida and eat right now he's being held out of a case that is being built against him out of the Southern District of New York yes so this non prosecution agreement that was overseen by Alex Acosta was net does not extend to the Southern District of New York at least according to the New York prosecutors right they made that case yesterday they said that doesn't apply to us we didn't sign on to that so therefore we can do anything we want what's going after Jeffrey Austin I imagine his lawyers will beg to differ yes now that agreement is at the center of another court case the victims who first came forward or trying to have that case retried why because they were never informed to the victims and floor were never informed at this guy that there was even anything going on throughout the trial that he got a deal and a federal trial he got a deal a federal judge recently ruled that that was illegal not to notify the victims yeah so the there was a raid on his home they went all Roger stone on him to kick the door in they has I've taken his seventy five million dollar town house in New York City it's estimated at seventy five million he is considered a big flight risk obviously because he has properties all over the world he owns two phones at his private jet to them the Lolita express on which many famous rich and powerful people flew his rolodex was leaked in twenty eleven filled with names of Bill Clinton prince Andrew A. who Barak who was the former prime minister of Israel Alex Alec Baldwin Ralph Ralph finds just Dustin Hoffman Elizabeth Hurley Mick Jagger Rupert Murdoch Andrew Cuomo Ted Kennedy the list goes on and on and on no that's not saying that all these people knew this was going on but they were in his rolodex if they were in his rolodex let's go back to the F. B. I.'s Williams Sweeney where he talks about some of these young girls who remember in old age were referred to as prostitutes the girls were recruited in a variety of ways usually by employees of obscene and sometimes by fellow victims no so so what they god as they got the victims today and get some of their friends because apparently there was always a turnover of these young girls are always there's always new blood that word that were coming in and they were using the girls to recruit other girls yep as is is yes I was wondering yesterday as they at because that particular allegation that some of the girls record other girls like if you did that you won you obviously you'd be guilty of a crime for recruiting somebody for prostitution or for that tech kind of sex work but that the FBI the prosecutor's they have to be granting immunity to those people right so the girls who recruited have to get immunity if they contacted the US attorney inside edition of New York not like I got information I just need a munity I'll give you everything they're gonna give them of unity well they're calling for that if you have been victimized in anyway or if you are somebody who has any additional information about his alleged illegal behavior we want to hear from you whatever age you are now whatever age you were then no matter where or when the incident or incidents took place now remember I said that they they went all Roger stone on him they kicks in the door and on his upper either side bar that away yeah Upper East Side seventy five million dollar town home and they found some very interesting in discussing things agents executed a search warrant on his mansion in New York City and recovered and sees and that was a search for so it's a valid warrant ad agencies evidence including nude photographs of what appeared to be under age girls nude photographs of what appeared to be under age girls I don't know Vince I'm not a lawyer but that sounds like child porn to me it does this sound like a hit with another chart yeah and the question becomes are these simply nude photos he got say from the internet or the photos that he talk that would be a whole new piece of evidence right it would be and a former FBI assistant FBI director Chris sway occur to your point just now Vince said that this that he only had there's only a two count indictment that that he was in court for yesterday yeah that that was just brought to get him off the street as fast as possible because I think a decision was made that this conduct was on going there are a lot more people and a lot more charges that could be forthcoming and Nancy pulls his daughter Christine says we may see the names of some of our quote unquote fades yeah Bill Clinton flew twenty six times with Jeffrey abstain on that private jet the leader express but he doesn't know anything about that we may like with a cloth no idea what you're talking about this is just beginning this is going to heat up and we will keep you updated on this seven twenty four into your mail you saving is a serious problem one issue some retailers violate our policies by selling to youth and allowing bulk purchases to crack down to.

"R tonight continues with Joe conju and lease wheel. In the law. We have something called eggshell plaintiffs. You know, that's somebody that you know, you just can't have anything thrown at them because in a lawsuit because they're just they're just gonna crack it's too. It's too easy to have a case against them. As just you can't throw everything you eat egg whites or whites or. Everything. Yeah. Eggs are good. What's your favorite kind of sunny side up? Sunnyside? I've how'd you know, me too? Yeah. I love Sunnyside up toast. Can't just be solo. Oh, yeah. Because toast as SOPs it up. Yeah. Yeah. That has on the toast with the catch up. You put catch up with eggs kids. Do that. You do that. Yeah. Like ketchup Heinz. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. A lot of ketchup a lotta gets up then unusually some prize too. So with the yolk or just with the white part with everything. Yeah. I'll smooshed together. I didn't see that coming about you love it. Yeah. That just seems out of the norm. And you seem like an in the norm kind of person when it comes to eating actually I've never seen. You eat still been doing this for three weeks. See you. You don't see me with my big tuna fish sandwich going to be like back to the future. You know, like how the data kept fading in the pitcher until. A god. And then Michael J? Fox's heads coming off. That's you. You're just gonna eventually evaporates and nothing to show solo Blaine. That's scared. No life. I've I've filled in for Mark Simone before a good report. What was I even talking about? I have no idea we're talking about eggshell late. Okay. And I just think if this eggshell president because he's got eggshells thin skin. When he's looking at Alec Baldwin and Saturday Night Live. I mean, come on. It's a joke. When out bald was talking about, you know is Alec Baldwin's completely thin skinned. Well, okay. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. Exactly pot. Calling kettle black exactly looking guy back though. I watched hunt for Red October with Sean Connery. Very good luck. Yeah. I could see myself like as a check like that's a good. He's a good looking guy right now, he looks like he's in the second trimester. I don't know what happened when you get older you gain weight. But I mean, he's rotund. Well, I don't know. I don't want to say that. Okay. He's he's he's he's he goes, he's. Stick. And it's funny does the blonde wig. And it's it's you gotta get these funnies. You all see why I a fake this emergency, right? I got to because I want to. It's really simple. I'm not going to do any accents as I can't do some horrible at my my kids. Tell thank you for that. Yeah. My kid's me. I'm horrible. At accents. Takes a talent rare talent. Yeah. You have to say, whatever my kids. Tell me. Mom, don't do it. You're horrible at it. That's accurate. Okay. Thanks anyway. So that's what that's what Alec Baldwin does stick. So Trump tweets out nothing. Funny about tired Saturday night. Live on fake news question is how did the networks? Get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution now. That's kinda scary retribution like. He's resident of the United States. So Alec tweets out. He says this he says first name basis, Alex. Alec Baldwin excuse me, Mr. Baldwin, right? He acts tour responded by questioning whether the presents were represented, quote, a threat to my safety and that of my family. Oh, yeah. He's real scared. He'd be punches people out for a living. No, no cameraman could get within twenty feet with them without becoming Apollo. He does have a little bit of a history get it. But this is the president of the United States. I get lucky lumps in the president lumps in the news media was Saturday Night Live. And that's obviously not the one is a comedy show and examines me as the news media. The news media treats him horribly. Every study analysis of I've seen that he gets ninety nine percent negative coverage. Right. I know I know flicked let me make a point please. So yes, it's seconds to speak. Thank you. Because of what I do for a living. So yeah. Tweets he goes directly to the people avoids the media filter. I get all that completely and people loved his people who voted for President Trump love his tweets, and they never want him to stop. However, when you talk to the more objective people in the world, they will say those tweets are unnecessary now. Then again with the news cycle. It's like a far in the win. It comes and goes, you're like what was that? And then before you know, what you forgot about. What what are we is tweeting about? So there won't be any retribution, but he's right about SNL no longer being funny. And I quote, the great rob Schneider was on there in the nineties copy guy. Right. Deuce bigalow? He said Alec Baldwin is a brilliant actor. He's not a comedian. That's true. I don't find his impression to be comical because I know the way his politics lean and it spoils any surprise. There's no possible surprise he. So clearly hates the man. He's playing that's true. And then he principal. Dana Carvey who did Carvey do little trivia for you. Oh, I should know this, and I don't blame them producer Bush. But there are two bushes. He did George H W Bush okay thousand points. Got a do do. It was great. It didn't really sound like Bush, but the facial expressions and everything I mean, it was to the point where George H W Bush invited him to the White House to do the impression. That's great the attitude. Yeah. So what Schneider said was Carvey played at respectfully to me. The genius of Dana Carvey was Dana Carvey, had empathy for the people. He was playing Alec Baldwin has nothing, but a fuming seething anger towards the president. He plays that is one hundred percent, right. Farrell's George W Bush was incredible. Who is Darrell Hammond to Clinton, I think that was my favorite of all of them. You know that that was tremendous his Clinton, and I think the other guy to who's now dead of the guy who played Phil Hartmann. Thank you blame the producer. And then who in Alabama. I couldn't even tell you who did him. And I think right. But I'm so forgetful. Yeah. That's right. I don't remember Chevy Chase's four. Spoke out. I didn't think maybe early spoke. Reagan was like rich little, but I don't know who did them on Saturday Night Live. But the point is that. Yeah, he's right man that show is no longer really that funny. Because it's so predictable is going to be Trump. Trump's gonna say something stupid. They never goes in a certain direction, and when they had Kate McKinnon who played Hillary Clinton to perfection on the show right after she law. She's playing the piano and singing Hallelujah. Like, okay. Where's the joke and accommodate wasn't? They were really morning on the shell. It's like, okay, I'm done. I want escapism. I don't need this. Okay. But the point is, you know, fart in the wind. Did you really say far inland about oh, you want a ball, by the way? Yeah. Yeah. On Saturday Night Live thirty three percent wanted to see more Trump bashing nineteen percents of the enjoyed the jokes. But would like SNL to focus on something else. Sixteen percents that they have not enjoyed the impressions of the members of the Trump administration. Okay. All right. So some people are, you know, some people don't want the politics. I mean, a slight minority, but even the late night shows, I call bear same thing every night camel Saint Seth Meyers is a watchable whole bear though. He has made his ratings when he started going with Trump. Stop just replace. Yeah. Yeah. No, he's he he's done. Really? Well, when he first started. There was no Trump, and he was struggling to the point where they're rumors that he may get replaced, and then Trump was the gift that came in. And basically do the Colbert report except on CBS, right? And the guy who suffered was Fallon because Jimmy Fallon NBC. He's a guy who doesn't pressures and he has true talent. But since he wasn't trumpeted bashing Trump every night for whatever reason the wind shifted in that direction, but you give me the prime of Leno Letterman Carson against Coburg Kimball. Seth Meyers, and I'll take the former thank you. Because that was funny. I was I was getting angry they did politics, but they hit everybody Carson had everybody. If Carson hit you actually your career is done. Apparently. That's what they said. Like, if you ever actually did do a joke about your you're probably in a lot of trouble. You know, we found like real L fogies, though, we're not full as you know. It was my birthday this week. And I turned thirty six according to Facebook. And no, look we we just watched the archives. You know, we we watched the heads. But we're ninety s. Were ninety kids. We are right. Yeah. Yeah. Humor. But we want humor. And I agree. I don't want anything so angry that it makes me uncomfortable. I want something that's going to be funny. What does show like this show? You exactly, but I also don't want. I don't want President Trump tweeting about retribution either. So lemon a lot of things. I am very, greedy. I just want peace who's your favorite character. Character all time. Do like filling in the blank who was obviously Eddie Murphy. I mean, that's that's not hard. Oh, a close. Second will Farrell very little feral on my guys. Harry Carey alone. Is this genus watch the best to serenade line that? But meanwhile, is this national emergency going to run into a legal wall. We're gonna talk about that. That's next on seven ten Delio. Are isn't it time? We tell our side of the story..

"Can has more. To sign these -mergency immediately be sued in the ruling will not go in my favor. Record. And then I'll put my buddy. No. Donny. New phone who is going to ask you, honestly. So that's Alex Alec Baldwin from Saturday. Did you find it funny? I don't watch a good solid ten minutes of that. And I'm like what he got to give him credit. He does to a good impersonation of the press does probably the best one. Does the content of it? Yeah. He doesn't write it writes it, but put it this way. Was five minutes in before he found that little chunk that was even halfway like we're the plan. I I can't stand watching it anymore. They're not funny. Even when they're not doing political stuff. They're not funny. It's not good. It's really it's horrible sound. But it's just not as good in a long time. But anyway, president doesn't think it's funny at all. And now, this has a whole new you. Now, we have this want do Trump tweet. Now, we're going to have to have what did Alec Baldwin tweet Twitter, Twitter war? Well, Trump tweeted was right after the show right after the bit. What's wrong with America that you know, are comedians can basically trash states in its applauded. Yup. It's right. Instead of being you know, frowned upon its applauded. There's something wrong with our world. Basically, he said nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live. And then you're right. Like, you said he goes on. And he says how can they get away with these total Republican hit judge without retribution? Well, put it this way or that Obama. They're making fun of what would the reaction be? It would have been called racist. Yeah. There's no doubt about it. We make somebody make fun of somebody's skin. They do skin tone hair speech, everything it would have been called racist. If exactly what they do with Trump breaks. So why is it not racist? Right. But now Al Alec Baldwin who's playing the game here. Of course, he says the president is tweet. We just read for you. Right. That constitutes an attack the constitutes a threat to his family's safety. I guess the retribution part. I don't know. Daily threat the that Alec Baldwin faces or anybody near him is when you take his parking spot. Well, yeah. Remember, then he goes ballistic on and he did. Nothing. You get a slap on the wrist, and he has to go to anger management classes. I don't think there's enough anger management classes for him. This is what the rest of what Baldwin tweeted out. I wonder if a sitting president exhorting his followers, that's my role in a TV comedy qualifies me as an enemy of the people constitutes a threat to my safety, and that of my family all right now it doesn't Alec. He's playing here. Not that important trust me playing the game. And that's it. It's to keep his name out there because he's got no job once Trump leaves office. I mean, look at this resurrected his career he was down to nothing. Hey. I mean, it always he was fat and out of shape. Look good anymore. What I'm trying to think of what movie I watched the other day when he was just a kid. And I was like oh my God. It's alex. Oh. Not nine to five the other one Mellon, Melanie Griffith, insecurity Weaver. I know what you're she takes Harrison Ford's in it. But Alec Baldwin's her original boyfriend, and you wouldn't even recognize good looking guy. I was skinny good. I'm like, wow. What happened to you? You balloons. Skinny good looking like, Anthony Weiner. Well. There's nothing attractive about that meant nothing. Well, the former New York congressman he's out. He's out of a Massachusetts prison where you were serving. I forgot about this. It was only twenty one months persisting and fifteen year old girl in two thousand seventeen ahead of been anybody else. He would have been imprisoned for a very very like forever. A very long time. You would have been deemed a sexual predator, and that would have been it. But this guy gets twenty one months and did he get out early because he good behavior? I think he has twenty four months, and they let him out early now being supervised. Oh, great. By who the federal residential re entry office in Brooklyn, and he's got to pay a ten thousand dollar fine and register as a sex offender. Oh, wow. All right. And then it'll be running for mayor like you said in the next. Oh, make the announcement that he's running for mayor of New York. To clear up. That's all well, I'll tell you. Speaking of good, looking not Anthony Weiner Tibo. He's in town. And they say Tibo mania has already arrived at the port St. Lucie spring training. I always forget, I guess he's still trying to do the baseball thing. Yeah. He's still doubly now, which is, you know, people like, oh, it's all we can do can you know, how tough it is to hit a double A. And they said he did really well last year with some team in in Bingham, the Binghamton wasn't that the the buzzards whatever remember, I don't know. Like the firefly left. The. First one Carolina fire nets or? They get some great names. But they said he did really well, despite the fact that he broke his hand. Yeah. He did break his end. And I didn't remember that. But he's back at he's it's spring training. And of course, the metro saying there's no doubt about it. There's a lot more people here when Tibo shows up, and they know how to play it up. Sure. Any they say is extremely gracious. He signs every autograph? You takes pictures as a nice guys kind of tough not to like Tim tebow. I mean, what does he do wrong? Nothing charitable stuff other than he's gonna get married soon. Or did he get married? He's got a girlfriend now, I know that I don't follow it closely. I I don't know if you've got married or he's got a girlfriend, but there there's some there was something about him recently. And he's got a standing offer. So I think it was ABC. He was working for right to college football games. Standing offer whenever you're done with the baseball thing you come right back on just makes me really. Oh, what's made? He's nice. But look at him. I mean, he's he was like the guy you want your daughter to bring home. There's no doubt about it. He had everything is good. Look in hindsight. Heisman trophy? Although he couldn't make it in the pros unfortunate. That's all right. Well, he did. I mean, you know, it always put that in his resume. But how many how many people play football and baseball who is that. There was another one just recently. Was it the kid that won the Heisman Trophy doesn't? He played for the NFL draft. Yeah. Right. More money. I guess he plays for Oklahoma. Right. I mean, it's amazing. The Petit the talent these kids have like holy cow, but could Tim tebow survive a twenty one car accident Daytona add song? Go on to win. The race is sponsor is the Lord. That was something to talk about dogs. I like we talk about NASCAR a lot. But this was Florida related, and it was awesome. It's coming up next..

"Eight. And I thought I'll do anything this guy wants to do. He's a genius director is immediately and. So I really wanted to do boogie nights. And I met Paul at the Formosa cafe and I had done. My thing about thinking about the characters through line. What the bigger story was about what it resonated. I had all my ducks in line to pitch myself for it. I couldn't get in a word in edgewise. I mean, Paul started talking about he was going to shoot it and everything and it was one of the great moments of my life. I went oh dear God, I'm not additioning. He is I've got this role. I've got this role. He's pitching me. And I just sort of Mun back in my seat and let Paul talk on you know. And, but it was that's when I thought okay things have changed in that was born of Fargo. Again, it was it was a couple years later. Seem like a couple of years Joe Montana. After Fargo and after all of that hoopla's sent me a note saying. Welcome. Welcome to the inner circle or whatever Joe had made it he had done speed the plough on. The godfather and dental these big movies, and he sort of said, welcome into the next echelon. I really got what he was saying. Yeah. Of it, so cool. It is cool. Welcome to the club. Welcome to the club. I mean, what are the odds to make a living doing this? They're there. They're slim. You choose roles. Well, one of the best compliments, I can pay to you is when I said before we start, which is when your movies are on you flip through the menu and cable, you still stop and some of it's been twenty years or more. Whether it's Vargo or boogie nights, the list goes on you've got an eye for something. That's going to last something that's going to be meaningful. It's good to know. Yeah. Yeah. Certainly had my flops. I wrote some of them even directed some. But. I credit Dave Mamat. I he set the bar very high and taught me a whole lot about storytelling. Got a terrible question to ask you, do you have a favorite role of your career? I know it's like choosing a favorite child, but I'll ask anyway, certainly. Frank Gallagher's going to be in the list. Dave rohde. A film called state in Maine. I just I had the best time in that. I play a director. And it's it's show biz thing Alex Alec Baldwin's in it and. Sir. Jessica parker. And it's it's all the inside jokes. I. Sarah, Sarah, Jessica, and I had seen in a little tiny bathroom where I'm trying to talk her into taking her shirt off for the movie, and we had to kick Dave out. He kept snorting and laughing. I said this is hard enough. Get out hit he had to go sit at the monitor. We couldn't have him in there. But that film just loved it. He was. Just at the best lines. Did this thing called door to door that I wrote my with my friends, Steven Schachter? It was made for television movie about a guy named Bill porter who was born with cerebral palsy and became a door to door salesman. Not just door to door salesman. He worked for the Wasco company, and he outsold everybody in that he sold so many so much stuff. They stop holding the contest, particularly after we did this film. And it was the first. Makeup piece that I'd ever done was my whole face was rubber serious character voice, look everything. And I was really proud of the writing. And it just Slade. It was it was it was difficult, but exhilarating and had a great ending. We want all the Emmys that year. So that was because they're not the obvious choices people would say Jerry, London art for. Sure. Sure. But there's there's a long list of them that have been proud of. Yeah. That's a good thing to be able to say. Right. And the ones I'm not proud of just pretend they never exactly we will whitewash them. Edit them right out. I'm good at that. Your wife, Felicity. Is she central into the way you pick characters and scripts and you talk through those kind of things as as other actor, obviously respect so much. Yes, we talk about show biz a lot. We talk about our rules. We give each other notes. It's not. Something everyone should try. But. She. Yes, she can be tough, and I can be tough too. But we met in the theater, and that's really at the core of our relationship telling stories and acting, and we both love it in the same way. And there's not a jealous. Boehner body. She only wants me to succeed, and I can truthfully say the same back to her and. The gods have been good to us. I mean, she's ascended the highest highs in the business, and I've had my eyes to you know, now, we're older, and we know it goes up and down and opened down. Boy. One year. I have unfair. Unlimited respect for my wife in one year. She did a film called TransAmerica. And it was the first year desperate housewives. That was all in one year. So she went to every single award show. She was in Herrin makeup every single week. We had two kids three and five. And. It was Harvey Weinstein done the. Transamerica? He bought it. You know, his campaigns for the Oscars were huge. So she was out every single night. And she kept it together. And raise the kids. It was. It was magnificent only strong person could have done what she did. And it's fun to meet someone so early and your careers sort of rise together to watch the struggles. And celebrate the successes. Yeah. It's. Marriage is sort of a fairytale marriage. I gotta say she's a love to the second. I saw. It's just been fabulous. Life's good. So we're talking about shameless, and how long that may go. Hopefully goes as long as you want it to go, do you think about other kinds of movies their roles is there something that's sort of burning a hole in your creative brain that? You'd like to do. Yes. It's been a long time. It's hard to remember before shameless. I know it's coming to an end. And I've started to think about life post. Shameless. I went to see Aaron Sorkin 's play. To kill a Mockingbird, and I thought, oh, I wanna do that. I've seen a bunch of plays here. So I'd love to do some more theater. Think of always I'm best in in theater. I think that's where I belong and I've seen a lot of films, and I thought maybe I could have done that role. So I'm excited. I don't think I'm finished yet. I think I'm in my third act for sure, and it turns out them on really good at doing fuck all I can do nothing long time, which is new for me. I used to have to do something, right? But right. Just sit still and be quiet for a long time now. So maybe a little break after shameless. Yeah. Maybe do some theater and. I'd like to do some more feature films. The idea of a new project figuring out a new character. It's exciting to me again. Maybe the Coen brothers. You back together. It's threatened shoes dog and get the role that I've got a number if you could call and love to work with them again. I love everything they do to. Thank you so much. Thank you. "Angela me the guy we oughta breakfast club that if you're just joining us, we're talking Nikki Giovanni, she had a conversation with Alex Baldwin in this James, Bobby, Jay, bro. I will come over there and fight. Alex. His name is Alex. Alec baldwin. You you wherever you have the white, man. Okay. Don't matter. If I get the white man's name would have you ever mistake James Baldwin for Alec Alec Baldwin ever. We fight. Name name chair James Baldwin is. And that's what matters. Where am I of course, you need? And you will if you love me, and you up going someplace you line to me because what they care about the truth. I if you there, and why are you going to be truthful with me when you lot everybody else, you lied when you smell it that cracking down the job right smile feet me the same way, you would treat him because I've caught Browns and the anger you. I catch you because I love you. I get list of you. I get I get the very minimum. Thank you. With me is that too much of the black woman to ask her to blackmail. So let me ask you are you stressed at work. I let the fact that when I'm sure I said, I can tell my boyfriend. But I think it's just how you handle it like, I don't take it out on him. But we'll talk about it and then move on. And I think that's a good way to be. And I love when he's able to talk to me about what's going on in his life and be honest about it, and that way, I can help him emotionally, however that I can all right. Eight hundred five five one zero five one. Do you want your spouse to be fake, happy at home? I mean, my wife wants to real if I'm upset if a mad if I'm stressed if I'm happy she wanted the real at home. She doesn't care. She doesn't like to fakeness whatever it is. It is let's deal with it at home. The only problem I have honestly is shutting down because I don't want a bit to my wife. I think is very unfair to her because we have kids. He's holding the house down. She has a life too. She's got her own. She's probably Dan Lewitt. So I don't need to bring my baggage home. We're put it on her show business Kresa route. So I knew exactly when Nikki Giovanni. I don't think it'd be a fake. But I do think it's sucker stuff to treat people who don't care about you. Better treat the person you love if you can put on a happy face in front of people that you don't like then you should be able to put on that happy face in front of your your your significant other like, I think it's a way to vent about what's going on in your life. And then they'll be happy about it. I'm not gonna come home and bring that rage to my wife. You know, what I I just think I just think it's a stugotz up to treat people that we don't care about you. I had a tough day. Why don't we go? Do something finds I could take my mind off at and August. Yes. But it's also a lot of people are really stressed out at work. I mean, we thank God, we're not stressed out at work. But there are a lot of people that really have a bad and stressed out. Let's go into a lot, and it's dealing with a lot. Yeah. We're very fortunate sometimes going home, it is tough for them. Yeah. But don't go home and then while out on your wife because you really wanna wile out on your boss. That's misdirected. And that's honestly, that's wack. I think that's I think that's why this conversation is so important because once again, it's really suck stuff to treat people who don't care about you better than you treat the person you love. So I think with Nikki Giovanni you're saying if you can smile, and these people's faiths that don't like you, you gotta bring that same energy home. Okay. To really like me and not just mild and put on a fake fake. What really happens a lot? And I definitely know what happens a lot with people with their family people take it out in their take it out on their kids. They're mean to their kids because they have. No, wait, let there they they have to let it go. They get beat pretty much all day long. And then when they go home they need they need that release. And sometimes I know a lot of people take it out on therapy is so important you got to go find somebody to talk to invent to and get this out too. So you don't bring that kind of a nice run in the park to cold. Hello. Who's this? Do you want your spouse to be fake, happy at home or you fake happy owned, bro? I mean, it's the same thing goes if anybody even your right if you had a rough day at work in in their in house won't be fake to them. So you're not to say, I showed it to cry on becomes a peanuts. Dorado? Cry on becomes a penis derived t shirt right now for me. Basically. If you if if you're not confining inside, your wife was finding this is you she's gonna use it to someone else. They think you know, your home those all your problems or or her home in using them. It gives you that. You wondering dang, okay. You never come to me for yesterday. Issues because they're going to someone else. I don't think. Nikki Giovanni is simply saying you in front of these people's face all data, don't like you. But you smile, and you're happy. But then you come home and treat me bad because you can because you know, I love you. I don't want to leave to you. That's all she says. She's I want you to smile in my face the same way, you smile, and then people faded you could fake of you can't. Talking about someone specific. Because I don't know about that. I want you to feel like I could drop the facade when I come home eight hundred five eight five one zero five one do you want your spouse to be fake, happy at home? Call us now is the breakfast.
