Are the Kansas City Chiefs Going To Land Julio Jones?

"Let's talk. julio jones my friend. Because i mean look it's a long shot i'm going to say it oddsmakers think it's a long shot. The chiefs are thirty. Three to one odds to land. Julio jones in a trade which is way longer odds than many many other teams. So las vegas does not think. Julio jones is going to land in kansas city but julio jones is gonna land somewhere and it sounds like it's not in philadelphia this year. Where are you at all this. I'll say this vegas didn't think phil mickelson was going to win this as last major. Guess what a that happened. So i don't know where julio jones is gonna land. I do think. Kansas city actually makes sense. I'm surprised vegas hasn't bumped it up a little bit as based on the past knowledge of how aggressive brett. Vh is the fact that julio jones said he wants to play for a winner he wants to play for a contender. You sit basically said give me the hell out of atlanta. You know If you wanna play for winter you wanna play for a contender. You wanna play for a good quarterback now you kate. A city checks all those boxes. You have a hall of fame coach. Andy reid i would. I would think that those numbers would be higher. What are your thoughts on this. Well let me kick it back to you with this. Albert breer reported today that basically that would probably take second round. Pick to get julio jones. Now that's it like. I think it sounds good on paper. Yeah i think it sounds good on paper to julio jones. i'm probably in the conservative camp of. I think the chiefs are already more loaded than any other team out there. They've already gotten their the last two years. I don't care what the bills in the browns have done. The chiefs are gonna make mincemeat of them. Whatever they play so. I don't know that we need julio jones so so you know to me. I'd rather keep that second round pick

"We don't know it's a new running. He lives there. That's one thing why I think he loves him so Miami's I. Remember Lady on Bill Yeah. If I'm a player, there is a little bit of a hey, I get spend the winner in Miami. Casey miles blew a gaskin. So. It's the guy we know, but we don't know. He's a big fantasy issue. Everyone's like wait is this guy for real I? Think it'll get other money back but don't you want to be in Miami Miami make the playoffs. By the way we we discount Dr Patrick. I know it's not. It's about Kansas City I think more than Miami Kan city. We think whether it's going to be a playoff check. There could be a couple of playoff checks could be a super bowl check I understand that at winning is a lot of fun. It is but with the jets, he didn't even get the ball I. Wonder if he got the ball he he would have been he would have been okay with playing for the jets even though I wanNA play I want the ball if I'm with Kansas City on I get chances there, but I still want to be able to play. Yeah. He's still gonNA play. He's just going to play on a team. That's actually good. Why would you WANNA go from the jets who are just atrocious to the dolphins? because. Because how my next two or three games against the jets if I go to the dolphins. I get I get to. Play Great I get I get the ball I get to who is going to be playing by the end of the year. That'll be fun. You could get to spend the whole year with his learning curve right awesome. Nobody's complaining about the learning curve with Justin Herbert or Jonesboro. Yes. mclovin do you remember when Bell held out in every day? He put up a viral video of him on South Beach hanging out at the beach I think the South beach factories all things for the Dolphin you're right football wise chiefs by a thousand but. I still want to carry the ball I want to Rochman yes. By the way would live in Kansas City any day over Miami I've been to both timing close for me can't. He's fantastic. been there good weather. There great food. Yeah. Yes. Just. Like why in top free agents running to be the big market of New York City? I have no interest in being on the crummy Nicks. Thank you. We will check in with one of my favorite NFL reporters, insiders, Albert breer from the Monday morning quarterback on Libyan bell is he a good fit in Kansas City? Offense? This is what I was wondering because we talked about Buffalo we talked about Miami I talked about Pittsburgh There there it felt like there are a few teams that would be interested in Lebron bell the problem the chiefs have and they don't have many on offense Clyde? Edwards. Hilar- has not been good in short yardage situations not been good at the goal nine carries in goal goal line situations minus one yard touchdowns to show for it. And the chiefs had one rushing touchdown from a running back this season. Now, maybe we're nitpicking a little bit there but I do think that this is a concern because there will be a game where that running attack is going to have to come up with some big yards or a big Kerry and this is what Andy Reid the luxury of having great offense like. This and you can bring in beyond bell. It's a well run team they have success and then you're saying to basically we're GONNA pick your spots for you and he's still a great receiver out of the Backfield this program brought to you by. Mercedes aim g driving performance. He's Albert Breyer senior NFL reporter and also contributor to Monday morning quarterback. He joins US on the program. Why is Levy on Belgrade fit for Kansas City? Well, you mentioned the short yardage thing. I think that is certainly a factor Dan Damian Williams who had served in that role for the chiefs opted out. So that left a hole in the roster I. The other thing is they still love Clyde Edwards Allaire. Part of the thing with him though I, you look at his history, he really only a bell cow for one year at Lsu like all rookies he's never played a season as long as he's GonNa play this year and they've been relying on him pretty heavily over the first month the season. So this allows them to move Clyde, Edwards hilarity maybe a little bit more of a situational role now, which potentially could mean you get more out. Of Him in December and January and February the other thing that I've mentioned quietly their offensive line's been a little bit of an issue if you look back when they struggled against the forty niners early in the super bowl when they struggled early against the chargers in week two when they struggle against the pages when they lost last week in all those games, you see the line of scrimmage they're having some issues and so one way to mitigate. Some of those issues is to add a great running back who can churn out tough yards can help you in pass protection and love eon bell brings all those things. So the hope is you get a motivated player here helps you preserve cloud Clyde layer a little bit, and maybe help mitigate what's been a little bit of an issue on the offensive line. Why is there a mystery around the.

"Paulie thinks it's our year. This is the year we win the Sports Emmy. Why do you think this is the year we win the sports because the sports emmys this year. They usually have a party in new. York and it's a pretty big deal. If you're a nominee, all the nominees sports meet is kind of like a sports media convention. Go to New York. It's like on the upper west side, drinks and fun and everything. It's announced you do your speeches and it's kind of A. It's a really fun event and the people who win really get their their. Do I guess and this year? The in-person ceremonies canceled and they're doing fine like zoom group. Presentation and Naby nothing more US than to win the only year that they don't have an in person. Presentation sued think because of the virus we win, and because we're a pretty solid show, so I would it improve but I think the novelty of not being in person. Be The perfect for us to win. Yeah, but I don't need anybody else to party if I win. I'd rather just party with US guys right here in the man cave five pack old style stolen back. We can take that down. Boy that brings bad memories. Though when we'd lose, then walk right to the bar and I just sit there with. The danettes would find me. I walked into a restaurant and I WANNA. Dan. It's going to be what they learned coming out of this, you know the expectation for the League was GonNa be a lot of positive tests. opt-outs coming into camp, but we've already seen that. You know I. Think really the challenge begins now and so what they're looking to learn from the other leagues is when one of these sorts of things. Things happens what happens after that in so really as much of a shock as it was the sports world to see the positive tests with the Marlins I. The NFL is going to be studying more. Antonio Brown accused of rape in civil lawsuit

"New patriots receiver Antonio brown is accused of sexually assaulting his former trainer according to a lawsuit filed by the woman in Florida on Tuesday Britney Taylor who says she met brown while they were in college at central Michigan is accusing him of three incidents of assault in twenty seventeen and twenty eighteen including an alleged rape ESPN analyst Ryan Smith notes it's a civil suit well it's interesting I'm glad you mentioned that because it's not as if we're talking about a prison situation anything like this is simply a claim that Antonio brown sexually assaulted this woman and that she is asking for money damages now when you look at a case like this. the standard of proof preponderance of enough of the evidence meaning it's more likely than not that based on the evidence the conduct that she alleges occurred much lower standards so if this ends up in a civil court and this actually goes to proceeding it just moves forward then you've got sort he's saying one thing she's saying something else and a jury has to decide basically who they think is telling the truth. brown's attorney saying brown denies all the allegations so the two had a consensual personal relationship right of course was officially signed by the patriots Monday. after he was being but he was released by the raiders is scheduled to practice for the first time with doing one on Wednesday earlier on Freddie inferred Simmons Albert Breer from VMM QB we start off already know we at all one. I wonder if they're interesting about that yeah I don't know how close you got that you know what I want for it on the internet the last couple of days and so yeah. I have some knowledge of it there over the weekend which you know certainly I think. an interesting interesting cluster of medication you more and that's why we work for what that. I don't know why. yeah server if you don't like what the stars while the figure out how much do teams know about things like these accusations and I want to stress the word accusations I'm sorry what the upper structure looks like my mom came out. your department better you know all. federal agents former state top. most teams take it upon themselves to have. look local a lot of that stuff is you know all that stuff is sort of. yeah. during business you know like you know how local police figure for your game the knowledge so you can have a relationship law enforcement that are pretty deep usually and so if you want to investigate a player before you sign up before you trade form early other mechanisms to do that and on top of that you know you've got the league security department I'll let you guys know about that but I mean every NFL city the week yeah security officers on retainer and those guys are saying things almost double agents former speaker box. pretty vast network of people been internal how law enforcement that are so it would be out about the usually. out of fear to get information of the public still allows us to get players no worries that maybe a normal business. and I know a lot of players you know we'll go to a concert for the gun. our logo on it night and and they'll be aware. you know and so you know I always sure rolling. yeah. normally they're pretty good idea last did not consult. what's going on here they normally have a pretty extensive network of people that can help us find stuff out. according to ESPN's Adam Schefter the patriots were caught by surprise the team will have to decide how to proceed with a baby who was scheduled to practice on Wednesday patriots releasing a statement Tuesday night which said in part. the league has informed us they will be investigating official word from the NFL but it was included in the patriots

"albert breer" Discussed on Dual Threat with Ryen Russillo

"Awesome dot com code dual for twenty percent off your first box from beast, bow post themed boxes for guys that give a damn and you can follow our breer and his friends do calemburg at Albert breer. That's B R E E R and his stuff at the imam QB, and it is at the QB has a bunch of postseason notes there. And Kevin I think that's kind of where I just wanna finish up with you on the postseason stuff for let you go. What what did that Super Bowl? Tell us about McVeigh in the Rams in who Goff is because I think a lot of have struggled with wait a minute was Goff is bad as he was with Fisher. Oh my gosh. Is he really like borderline MVP? And then after the fact it's like, well, I think did you have the tweet where he basically said. Mcvay tries to see the field for Gough, and it was never more apparent than that Super Bowl. Just it felt like stuff like that. But I just I'm not a huge fan of the everybody make fun of McVay and McVeigh hires now after the fact because he didn't win against Bella check in the offense was held the three points. But I think there's a smart conversation about all of the things we're talking about with the Rams McVay who Goff is. Yeah. I mean, you also have to look at it. Wade Phillips did the same thing to to McVay that bell to two hundred Josh mcdaniels excuse me that Bellichik did to to McVeigh. And so it's not like the patriots won that game by forty points. This is just too old men just destroying to young people that that's what that was that was old man's strength from both teams. And so I think generally, I wouldn't panic and the would I was concerned about is when he read the football guys after after this game. They're basically saying that McVeigh had nothing new. He had no new wrinkles. He was just going to do what he did. And Bella check. You just can't do spellcheck. I mean that was Bella check when he rolled out there and telling them bay was just gonna be McVeigh his is probably lit up and said, I can't believe they're gonna do this. I mean, it's not dissimilar to Mike Martz eighteen years ago, when you know, the stories you hear that basically the the Rams are saying, hey, we might we have to change this up, and he was ignoring and I'm not saying that happened on Sunday night. But I'm saying that. If you don't come in with new wrinkles against Bella check, you happens. I don't think that this is any glaring indictment on McVeigh's. There's only one ballot check. And you know, he's gonna out and some point you're going to be able to, you know, be the best coach in the NFL when that mantel opens up if you're McVay keep growing, I think that from my perspective, I think this could be going to as it could be the end of McVay, which I don't necessarily see happening or it could be the moment or he realizes he has to have, you know, plan B plan the plan being a game plan grows. Coach, I I would I would tend to think it's going to be more of that. I think that joke them Sunday night. This is this might be the Sunday night at two AM might be the lead anecdote in a you know, glint glowing McVay profile and five years at one a second Super Bowl. You know, what was he doing in his hotel? It was doing the team play is the type of coach who next year if he plays Bilbao check again if not gonna come with the same old crap. That was really good answer. I think that's really smart, right? It'd becomes the antidote of like, what did you learn from that whole thing and? I I'm not I'm not going to be one of those guys that that would sit there and go, okay. Every there's part of me that wonders do you ask the question like you'd be like, which which the McVeigh tree not even tree hires ends of becoming painfully obvious that this was just an owner that bought into what everybody else is trying.

"albert breer" Discussed on The MMQB: 10 Things

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for being with us all this week. Keepings off here on Friday by explaining primary similarity between pages how that similarity when eighteen season then Kenny come into breakdown, the news, and as always wrap things up six put a bunch and was. Welcome back in the QB podcast with Albert breer. I'd say take to take three we've had all kinds of technical issues this week because I'm charge of producing the five cast, and that is problematic when we're so far away from home. We finally have it fixed. I think as long as if you're listening to this. We haven't fixed I'm gonna leave things off here just explaining what are the commonalities between the two teams that are playing here and they're going to the Super Bowl in Atlanta on Sunday. And the main thing I think that sort of becomes the theme for the twenty thousand season than that ties. These teams together it's open mindedness ability to switch what you are on on week tweet base almost on a day-to-day basis it's flexibility. And I think we've seen that from both these teams and go all the way back to being in Chicago at the beginning of. They can't before anybody else. And some of the ideas that Matt Nagy was bringing to the table. And remember I'm telling me when he was watching college players now have to to legal has one raise taking down notes on the players. The other were stealing plays and fast forward to the season. I remember talking to Sean Payton about how he'd still plays from Sean McVay went back shopping as you said. Yeah, I do the same thing in taking from Sean Payton. And both those guys said doing was on their watch list teams that they watch every Monday morning. And so you see an open mindedness, you see almost humility in what they're doing. And I think we've seen it across the NFL in two thousand eighteen everywhere. It's all over the place in the NFL. And it's just I think when I see it on Sunday to in that both teams and bring Connor and Jenny and my apologies again for all the back and forth and record in the podcast this week. And I'm sorry to everybody out there. We didn't get this out until Friday morning, rather. There's an open mindedness. Both these teams think something to be cited about on Sunday because there's a chance that these two teams bring something table. We haven't seen yet. And there's a good chance that Belgian throw something McVay that McVay as seen yet. And may throw something that Bilgic hasn't seen yet. That's so cool about this. That's what makes emblematic of the season. General so much of the season was about offense of engine newly. And that's the offense of explosion early in the year passing yards through the roof everything else. But I think as much as anything else about being open minded out, new ideas. And both of these teams, I think are the forefront. Now, the Rams are there. Now McVay as coach of the patriots have been there for a long time. Yeah. I mean, I think you know, this is kind of one of the intriguing match-ups. I mean, I think any of the four remaining teams in the championship Browns. I think would have made for a similar thing. Like be like you mentioned at the top. These are the fourteen that, you know, stand out among the most, you know, willing to sample from other places. I think what we'll also be interesting. To see Bella checks defensive-minded head coach. So what does he have for the Super Bowl? What innovation you know? Or you know approach will have for the Rams offense. Will he do? Anything different is their time to do anything different. A lot about unskilled looks Sunday. Yeah. Just to set the stage for everybody Jenny sharing a microphone, which makes us sort of like the Supremes in this guy deal. Melvin I guess is Diana Ross in this scenario point everybody on here. We have this new contraption that showed up to to just can't suspend Tanna..

"albert breer" Discussed on The MMQB: 10 Things

"Got several going to open things up talking about the brilliance of Tom Brady Connor, Jenny come in for the news and as always we wrap things up for the six pack of your Twitter questions. Art, welcome in weeks in the books. The QB podcast with Albert breer and I'm gonna lead off this week with a look at what's old being new. We heard a lot over the first month and a half of the season about Patrick Mahomes emergence as a potential VP candidate. We heard a lot about Jared Goff and how he's playing in Los Angeles. Obviously, a lot made of Aaron Rodgers injury, and I think what we saw on Sunday night was once again, that even at forty one years old. Even with an uneven. I five weeks season, Tom Brady is still the most reliable quarterback in football and for my money. And I'm not saying you'd wanna build around him for the next five years. And I'm not saying that you he'd be the one that you'd pick even for twenty nineteen because there's so much uncertain with, you know, with his age in we'll world be your from now and everything else. But today I, if you have a quarterback for the rest of the season and have an average team around him, I think Brady still the guy. And the reason why is because what we saw on Sunday night looked so normal, and it was so expected. And I told the story the beginning of my call Monday morning and I'll reiterate it here. I was with Troy Brown during the second half of that game and Troy obviously played with them during the first run the first round championship. Ships during the this patriot dynasty and robbing vich who played with him during the second run of championships of this patriot dynasty and. The end of that game. Gronkowski catches the ball. We're all saying, let him score. Let him score let him score. 'cause there was no way. That that's as you Asian, the chief. We're going to have any chance to come back after that, and we've watched it for the better part of eighteen years now. And you look at what he did at the end of that game. They blow a twenty four to nine halftime lead in the blink of an eye is twenty seven twenty six. Fifty four yards to field goal seventy five yards to a touchdown, forty, seven yards to field goal sixty five yards to feel ballgame. He was in control the whole time and he is the ultimate when it comes to not creating a margin for for his team, but being the margin for air defense is struggling. It's okay. Brady ill score more. You're earning games, not not hacking. It will throw more. Your receivers aren't getting it done while work around that to forever and ever and ever. Tom Brady has been able to work around whatever problem the patriots have had outside of probably, oh, seven. I don't think he's ever had the best supporting cast. He certainly didn't have the best supporting cast on the field and Foxborough and Sunday night. He's played with deficient defenses. He's played with depleted receiver groups. And. Things like Sunday night keep happening. And so I'll bring in Jenny Connor. We were all there. This. Again, like there are a lot of teams that would've gone through the first five weeks of the season with the Rosh, the patriots did with, you know, having taken the blows that they took against Detroit in Jacksonville, and it would have been over. And I think the reason why it's not. I think the reason why they can fight through this no matter what. And the reason why, even when they were one, two and looked awful, they, you know still this belief that they were going to pull themselves off the campus and be the patriots. Again is because number twelve stills or quarterback, which I think is pretty frigging incredible. When you consider he's forty one years old and there's no precedent for what we're watching right now and they, they are improved around him to that has helped..

"It's really, really hard to find a surprise team because I think we talk about the NFL so much in the off season that it's hard to pick out a team where you say to yourself, God, that team's going to surprise a lot of people. What I do do this year's I generally look at teams are really strong in the lines of scrimmage and teams that could use that, like kind of as a springboard last year, it was the eagles. I'll give you the Cowboys this year. They're off having their offensive line back intact. The way it is having gone through some transition. I think. Make a difference. I think adding Connor Williams that makes a difference for them up there. And I think their defensive lines got chance to be pretty good, especially DeMarcus, Lawrence playing for a contract are let's take five more questions and then we'll get out of here. All right. Five more is Brady playing beyond twenty eighteen. Yes. What what are you using the colts record is going to be if Lux healthy, ten, six. If not healthy, six and ten where we'll Levy. I'm bell play next season. That's question. Number three. Where will Levy on Dell play next season? See, I would say the lions piece they've had that need running back carry on Johnston, I'd say the lions, but they, but with Bob Quinn and map Trish there. Now, I don't think they'll break the Bank for a running back. The raiders my producers are raiders fan, so let's go with the raiders that actually makes them sense. Gruden invest in running back, marshawn might be done. Let's go with the raiders for the last year and Oakland. I think it'll be. We don't even know where the plane twenty nineteen. Okay, two more questions. And then we're out of here. How many wins for the Browns. I'm going to set the over under on wins for the Browns at six. I ended a better team than most people realize even without Josh Gordon. Last question Jimmy Geeta the Pro Bowl will wrap it up there. I know there's been a lot of question, wiser so much hype around Jimmy g. like he only played five games. He took a one in ten team to six and ten. He took a team that looked like it was in disrepair and go down the names of the guys that he was playing with peer Garzon George Kittle. Garrett Salik I, you look at the guys Marquise Goodwin. It's not a great team yet, but he was able to elevate people around. Do I think that there could be some mumps and the road? Yeah, but I'll tell you what the Niners really believe in him. And there was the option there for Kyle Shanahan to turn around and go get Kirk cousins and he didn't do it. And I think everybody out there with a pulse knows what cow Shanahan thinks Kirk cousins. He thinks Kirk cousins can calcium and thinks he can make Kirk could make Kirk cousins into drew Brees and so that he's willing to pass that guy who he has that background on and that he's willing to say, we're not worried about quarterback in the draft and he's willing to turn around and sign off on a hundred thirty seven and a half million dollar deal. Does he everything you need to know? Jimmy came in there was something to prove. I'll tell you this right now and they trade for Jimmy on Halloween, Dave before Halloween, whatever it was. They were leaving their options open. It was still possible. They go get Kirk cousins. It was still possible. They were gonna draft one and Jimmy won that contract. He did not. There was that was no shirt thing, and the fact that Jimmy was able to win that contract in five starts tells you all you need to know, okay, I appreciate you guys coming out on excited for the new season. "I completely agree. I, you know, they used to. It used to just be blue pills, and now there's blue cheese like this is for a raider fan. This is the equivalent of eating a blue in thinking about your football team because that's what you want to hear from your quarterback. It at least sounds like on the outside the dare cars ready to deal with the wrath of Jon Gruden and how hard gruden's going to push him. And I also think too that there's so much going on on that roster and there's so much going on on that football team that if Derek Carr can can gain John gruden's trust, not that he's not going to be coaching him personally, don't get me wrong, but if you're Jon Gruden, he needs to put his imprint and his emotion on other parts. Of the roster other than just the quarterback spot. So if you're Derek Carr and you can gain his trust, maybe he does spend a little bit of time away from you because he wants to go over and coach defensive tackle or talk to or taught to Khalil Mack about pass, rushing and I, this is great. It's I think it's bad news for teams in the AFC. 'cause Derek Carr, compla-. And even if he makes a bunch of mistakes, if you give them a chance, he's a gamer and he's gonna make you sweat it out. I like the guy lob. I think this combination is going to be great and this this bodes well for raider fans, and we'll see if if cars tough enough to take it because you're right, I intersection. You know, then by the way, Lewis is spider to lie bananas when he doesn't throw the y. banana. And it's, you know, it's James Caan in the program. Don't throw the flood. It's going the other way. We'll see how he handles it. I think the best thing about Gruden this. Off season two is somehow he became like fricken Knute Rockne it right? Like somehow like this started at the combine when he talked about taking things back to nine hundred ninety eight and was making fun of analytics and data data, whatever you call it, that type of thing. Right? Like he was making fun of all that stuff. And everybody was acting like he's going to come in there and like, you know, coach like somebody would coach in the fifties. Does everybody realize Jon Gruden was twenty years ago twenty years ago. Jon Gruden was Sean McVeigh and I refused to, I think, gruden's playing possum to some degree. Like I think he's coming here and he think he needs to. He knows he needs to establish some toughness in there. He knows he needs to be hard on guys. So I think he's sort of playing games a little bit. With the words. It's very easy to forget that this guy was seen as an offensive, mastermind and one with a handful of different quarterbacks from Oakland Tampa, and never it just like like, I think sometimes people forget that. Like what? What this guy rep. Guys reputation was like he was right up there with Mike Shanahan. Remember like fifteen years ago, if I asked you who the top two offense of minds and football, what would you have said it would have been those two guys probably would have been those two right like so I think this combination has a chance to be really, really good. And I, I think Gruden might have been playing possum earlier in the off season, but the fact that they're getting along the fact that cars buying in to his brand coaching, I think a great sign something. Albert breer don't be telling people how smart I am. Okay. It doesn't want anybody to know until week. One news item number four. All right. The Tampa Bay times reported Wednesday that James Winston has been left out of a big promotional campaign by the buccaneers dubbed wreak havoc Winston will serve or three game suspension stemming from a sexual assault allegation at the start of the season. There's some bad jokes to be made about that correlation between the campaign and everything else. I'm going to stay away from that in the interest of not getting me or U2. in trouble..

"I understand what you're saying like i just i this is a very like what they do with this pick is really important if he's name wasn't john elway we would be focusing so much on this fifth pick and saying well if this guy screws another draft then maybe they'd have to move on from him but because he's a legend and he got peyton manning and then won a world championship and there's some issue with the health of the owner and there's going to be changed there's well at some point and that's up predicting doom it's just being real about it if his name wasn't john elway we would be looking at the number five pick and say man they don't get that right that guy's asked might be on the line we're looking at some players to on that roster who are getting older to marry his thomas emmanuel sanders ron leary they signed last year on the defensive side derek wolfe isn't that old but he's been really banged up brandon marshal the linebackers getting a little older chris harris zolder von miller is getting closer to thirty there is some significant age on that roster now where like the the window the when that window that was open a couple years ago like it's almost like they're right where seattle the right were seattle was last year whereas just like i think there are a little bit worse because at least seattle has russell wilson i'm with flu on this i'm not a big fan of their roster in per i kind of think they're waiting for one of either chub or barclay to be there at five and make it easy picks gonna happen.

"Really the last fifteen years we've heard from tom brady that he wants to play to a very old age for a player at that position this sport and initially it was you know when he got into his late twenties it here he wanted to play a forty and then he got into his thirties and it was i wanna play at least another decade and then he got into his late thirties and it was i wanna play into my mid forties and i think i can do it because i'm doing things differently than anybody's ever done them before we've never heard him talk about the end as if it's right around the corner and at the end of the tom versus time documentary we we heard him talk that way for the very first time and again that's something had full aditorial control over and now we're seeing him disengage from football life in a way that he hasn't over the last few years and so i think the upshot of this isn't the tom brady's gonna walk away now it's that now the patriots earn a year to year situation with their quarterback which is not ideal considering they chose traded away jimmy garoppolo but i feel like that's what the if you want just take the meat of all this and take the headlines off it and everything else and what does this what's the meaning here to me the meaning of all this thing that we should all take away from it is that the patriots are now in a year to year situation of the quarterback position for the first time in forever well.
