I'm as you mentioned Albert Bearman who had a pretty key role in developing the the suspension and the handling for g seventy and and more people than I could list right now who can with an incredible background, and they're gonna be developing the products Genesis going forward. So the the rumor is is a lot more coming from Genesis you have three vehicles g seventy eighty ninety. Right now. The most significant probably is the seventy the newest vehicle out of the fleet. There are very few people that didn't think g seventy wasn't one of the best cars to come out in two thousand eighteen. Yeah. And you know, everything that you're saying, I mean, it's something that that we know that when people drive the car, they understand it g seventy you really have to drive to understand. I mean, it's good to look out. And and the numbers are impressive. But the second you get behind the wheel driving or you. Appreciate you. Complete luxury experience, you're gonna find something you really like to. Let's talk about facts, I would expect a call like this to start around the fifty thousand dollar range is a premium vehicle, but it starts on the thirty five. Yeah. Thirty four nine to get into the g seventy with with the two liter turbo engine. It's it's a really great price point. When when you look at the rest of the competition and the other vehicles that are coming out in that in that segment, you have to option them up a lot to get the feature content. You get even on a base seventy when we went to launch in New Hampshire. New england. We were the launch with you the the didn't want, you know, you guys didn't want us to be babies about it. You wanted us to get out and really push the car, in fact, so much so that you let us without a co driver do auto cross and do our drifting of the vehicle as would will. And that's probably the pod made me fall in love with it. The most you don't scared to let people play with it. Nick you, and I have spent enough time in the car together that I wouldn't be scared. I think I think that we had we had absolutely no qualms. And no, no reservations about that. I think one of the fun things is Genesis is really making itself into a brand that is competing heavily with the competition. More to come from Genesis, Jeff. Absolutely. You should be watching Genesis very closely as we get ready to unveil a bunch more products, including the long-awaited sports, utility vehicle. All right. Breath. Jeff, thanks.

"Talk thirteen eighty W A. Okay. Already. We we're back to our tune into the news and talk thirteen eighty w eight okay. We have a guest joining us by phone all the way from the west coast. He got up early to talk to us about Kia James bell. He's director of corporate communications again. Thank you for joining us this morning. You keep giving me credit for waking up early and talking to you. But you don't understand like you. I talked about cars all the time. My wife hates it. She she's got him out of the bedroom and talking with you all so don't worry about that. Well, good. I just wanted people to know lots of they think Ali, no big deal. It's a big deal somebody to call in. I'm glad that you guys dig enough out of west side to do. So I got this press release, and I've are already been excited about this stinger. I'm waiting to think I got one come sometimes. So do a complete review on it. But yeah, let's make sure that happens right away. I saw that their forte is coming and the forte is a compact in from from the outside looking at it as the starter car. It'd probably didn't have very many amenities in it. But you'd be wrong why has Kia decided to stick to these sedans in the current issue v climate here in auto industry. Well, you know, just from a raw business kind of sales perspective. It might surprise you to know that the forte was our number one seller in two thousand seventeen and what's fascinating about that. Is that, you know, this as well as I when the cars introduced, you know, you get a peek, you get a lot of interest in it guys like you, and I are on the radio talking about him. There's an ad campaign for it. It's it's kind of a new flavor of the month, so to speak, and so you get a, you know, a peak of sales and then the second year is on sale. It's still up in that space, but maybe it's dropping a bit. And then the third year of sales. Maybe a new competitor comes out. That's got something special. So the sales droplet Martin this is just a natural kind of curve where it starts high and drifts down. Right. When you look at the sales curve on forte flip that around back when the current vehicle was introduced in. I think two thousand twelve or thirteen I think it was. You know, you see where the sales were and it's just been climbing every year since so what that tells us is that you're right? The industry is is making kind of a wholesale run away. From sedans, we've heard about this from you know, from Ford Chrysler, a couple of other as even some of the import companies Japanese or are really, you know, turning their product mixes away from sedans, not abandoning them, but it turning their their mixes towards crossovers in SUV's and so forth. We have you know, we see opportunity everybody else leaves the market. It may not be the hottest biggest part of the market. But there's still plenty of people out there who, you know, hundreds of thousands of people who are looking for cars like this. And so we see this as a great opportunity because as I described in the first segment with a stinger. We now have a different ethic inside this car company, thanks to Albert Bearman. Thanks to the stinger. Thanks to making engineering and design and the driving experience be such an important part of what it means to own a Kia. We think the idea of coming out with sedan. That still have that key value? But now are real driving machines is a perfect timing for that. It's not just a way to get up and down the road to go to school or work, whatever. Yeah. It'll do that. Obviously. It's a key. It's reliable. It's turbo so forth. But now, you can do some style you can do with some speed. You can do some, you know, you look forward to the on ramps and off ramps that kind of thing. And so, yeah, you're right. The world's shifting one direction. But we're not abandoning this. Because we think that gives us a great chance to take everybody who still interested in that kind of car well James in the press release for that forte. There was some mention of the stinger. Maybe a influencing some of the design of some of the the function how did this stinger influence, the redesign of this forte? Well, when you have a look, you know, hopefully, your listeners can jump online at some point and have a look at the forte or as you said this fantastic new commercial with the racecar driver Colette Davis. You know, you can just see an ethic in there. It's got that fastback shape. It's not a five door like the stinger. It's a it's a more of a classic four door sedan. But it's really swept back. They they push the eight pillar, which is the part of the car the structure that holds the windshield. That's called eight slid that way back to really give it that more. Classic long nose feeling. The headlights are really kind of pulled back you I like to think about car design almost like if the vehicle is alive forte looks very muscular, it looks like a attract star very lean the skin pulled tightly around the corners the headlights, especially they really wrap around looks like they've been you know, kind of shaped by by by high speed the tail lights as well. And the whole rear end of the car has this kind of fastback shape to it really aggressive lighting back. You're like we have on the stinger LED lighting one innovative thing is having the turn signals and the reverse lights. To actually separated from the traditional lighting elements in down below in a separate structure on the bumper closer to the ground and the headlights and the where the trunk opens up, of course, if we repeat that on the front with the fog lights and turn signals so yeah, it's there's a lot of you know, it's not a copy or it's not a a baby stinger per se. But if if you open up pictures online, it kind of flip back and forth, you'll see that. There's a lot of a lot of spirit and a lot of proportion, which when you spend much time with designers. They'll tell you that's the most important. That's what makes it look. Right. If it sits on its tires, if it's it's on it's on its legs and feet like looking like, you know, like a leopard ready to jump. Then we've got something going on here. People Jiang's bail, the director of corporate communications for Kia of America. So here's another thing. I will look now. So when you talk about this car, you speaking about it, and it sounds like we're talking about this really expensive sedan. And they'll some people might have thought forty thousand dollars for us a lot of money, and it's really not when you looking at sports sedans in the market these days, but this this forte is nowhere near their price was the starting price of a Kia forte for twenty nineteen seventeen. Yeah. That's right. Yeah. For the the SE model, but has one of the rare manual transmission still available in the marketplace. So you actually get to drive the car instead of just sitting there kind of stabbing and staring at. Yeah. You're starting off at about, you know, mid seventeen so close to eighteen including destination so forth. So you know, that's incredibly affordable that puts you in the space of vehicles, like better smaller and much less fun to drive and get worse fuel-efficiency. So I don't I don't quite understand. Why he's even shop anything else in the forty at this point. And then all the way up to our launch addition dot com comes in at about twenty five to probably closer to twenty six with with all season so forth. That's a lot of car for. For twenty six thousand dollars. And of course, that puts you in the, you know in the sweet spot in the x and the LX at around twenty to twenty one. So this is a very forcible car. But and you drive a lot of cars, Daryl. So maybe you can appreciate this. I always think of a car is as doing it right is is when you're walking out to you know, to get in it to start your day. You you look at it in the driveway or in the street. You think yeah, I'm gonna drive that. That's I want to be in that car. And then when you're done, and you get to your destination and you've go to walk away. Lock the car you guys back over your shoulder. And you say, yeah, I came in that and this forte does that and you're not gonna feel that same way in a lot of the competition from Toyota or Honda or Nissan and so forth. You know, this is a car that in this in this kind of, you know, very affordable, very approachable kind of a value compact car space, it does style like nobody else. And what I would say James another observation not head just looking at some of the. List of the amenities and options features come on his forte, a young family with a teenager. Just starting to drive. This'll be a great start car stuff. Like, what lane keep assist lane departure? Warning blind spot monitoring, foreclosing assistance. It's not a stripped down car with nothing on it. That's right. When you know, it's funny. You say that I have actually I have a daughter who's going to be sixteen pretty soon, and my wife, and I have been talking about what car we're going to be you know, allowing her to drive, and eventually, you know, let her take to college whatever she's gonna do. And it's an interesting thing, we we as parents often think well, we'll put our kid in the older car or buy them an older car something like that. But the flip side of that is we already know that teen drivers or young adult drivers. They're the ones that have to be more protected. You know, we you. And I remember what it was like Lear kids and driving. We got ourselves scary times here. You know, from you know, just being pushing a little bit harder and just not having experience. So, you know, the the view in the in the bell family as well as from Kia is let's make sure that these cars are loaded with technology to protect you as well. Because you you might have younger drivers in there. So all of the things that you mentioned a collection of of sensors and warnings and voiding systems that we catch in a in a whole program called drive wise is available, and of course, airbags and every corner of the vehicle so and using high Seraing steel in the front structure to manage in case of of any sort of action and it comes through. So you give your drivers every best chance to to do the best. They can. And we see reports all the time from, you know, different safety institutes, and as well as people who send me emails and say, you know, I just wanna thank you Mike my teenagers still alive when my teenager was barely injured in this horrible crash because they were in a Kia, and that's the kind of stuff that makes it a lot easier to work for. This company we we can be really proud of these vehicles people, that's James bail. He's the director of corporate communications for Kia Motors of America. I'll tell you. I'm excited about the fourteen. I can't wait to drive that one as well. I had a caller who wanted to ask you a question, but we're up against the brakes. I'm not gonna be able to get a chance to get him on. But again, thank you for taking the time to join us. And I'm looking forward to more exciting things from from Kia, and I'll tell you, my producer is a convertible driver seat fell in love with that thing. She's like can they make it in a convertible? Tell her to keep rise up, and we might have some tricks. There you go. Hey danger. Bill Keyamo's in America. Thank you very much for.

"Four four eight nine two two seven zero three. I'm telling you all morning, we'll have a guest joining us today to talk about key. We talk about Kia Kia has a plant here in Georgia. They provide a lot of jobs here in Georgia. They are partners with most of sports teams here in Georgia. Atlanta Hawks they do stuff with the radio network Kia has become a pretty big part of Atlanta. So the day when I got a press release from someone in PR at Kia that showed a video of a female racecar driver jumping a period of media be a stock sedan drown it down this track jumping a ramp jumping a race car and landing in a pile of boxes. And it was always behind the scene footage. Got me excited. I shared on our social media. So if you haven't seen it go to our W O case Facebook page, you could see that video. But when that happened, I asked can I please get somebody to come in here and talk about the exciting things going on with Kia stinger. They have only half was short period of time. I need to get a full test drive in it. And by this new Kia forte key is coming out. With more sedans when everybody else is just running completely to SUV's and see you bees and crossovers. I wanted to find out. What is key? You're doing. What's the thinking? Why are we still seeing these sedan where they see this going? So joining us this morning, we have James bell. Who's the director of corporate communications for key has been with them since two thousand sixteen he has been he's been in the business about twenty years. He's worked with General Motors Kelley blue book. He's been all over the place, but he's a landed with Kia and actually doing a great job the second time being here. James good morning. And thank you for waking up early on the west coast and joining us here on the auto inside on news and talk. Thirteen eighty W A. Okay. With the kind introduction like that. I'll wake up any time. Thank you so much. I you make me feel good will Kia is starting to make me feel good. He's days. So I like that it is joint. When when I got this this press release, and it was about a forte mostly stuff. I get now is about SUV's, and I get invited onto the air. Come see this with everything we see is SUV and Kia has start being in a year. They when they came out with the stinger and everybody was the talk of the town. I had a Kia dealer. Call me, Tim, I need to be when stinger got there. And I was there. And I must say, I'm impressed. What may Kia? Komo sports sedan in the climate of auto industry now. Well in regards to the stinger we needed a vehicle that. I'm a lousy time is a vehicle of change. You know, you you said earlier in the in the piece here that, you know, kids working really hard to be involved in the communities and have interesting vehicles and be part of sports, and and just have the name brand out there. But you know, ultimately, no, no matter how great your programs are that in the marketplace if the vehicles don't back it up then people are going to be disappointed. They might like a commercial like like you described the forte jumping over a a racing forte boxes and so forth. That's that's all nice. That's all important. But if if the vehicle that the person goes out and test drives or gets a ride in or from a friend or something like that doesn't back up that new sensor letting feeling about the rand then it's all the way. And so that's why we need a stinger and two combination of it's a perfect kind of storm of things that happen. You know, we've got Peter schreier who's been doing our design courses with without the and and and. You know, an absolute design hall of Famer who who just done some amazing work, if you're gonna make a car, you've gotta bend the sheet metal. So you might as well ended pretty that's Peter's view, and he's been doing that in Africa for about ten years at the same time. We brought in a gentleman by name of Albert Bearman who would ran engineering for BMW, especially in their m division for. I think ten or fifteen years prior to joining Kia, and basically as he tells the story when he saw this beautiful design of this car is a stinger. Well, before it was decided to be produced his comment was and I'm gonna use a lousy German accent here. But he said these must drive is good as she looks. And and Albert, and he's a friend of mine toll-free doesn't hear this give me for that. But but Albert is he's he's he's a magician and he taught here. How would you take your car? You know, every car's got suspension, connecting the wheels and the power train and. And you know, they're all they're all the same kind of components. But it's how you connect them. It's the angles. It's the it's materials it's all these little bits and pieces that take any normal car and make it magic. And that's what he did with the stinger. He taught the company how to make your car, absolutely dance. How to make it as he says, Dr is good as it looks. And and that's what the KEA brand needed. Again. You're back up all this fantastic marketing fantastic promotions. And so forth. We needed a car that people got in and drove or even better when they saw it in the road and said I want to drive that then may drive it and say darn there's there's something going on to this Kia brand. And that's what the singers here to do. And Jiang's most of the talk that we hear that I hear about talking to journalists, and I get to spend a lot of time with people who are real current through the thing that we hear the most about the thing GT now when I look at. When I think about competition, you know, I was thinking like Honda Accord Toyota Avalon camera that kind of stuff that's not who Kia was going after with this GT who who are the big competitors for the GT out here in the market. All right. So I'm gonna tell you a quick story. I promise I'll make this brief. So I joined as you mentioned I've been with care for about a little over two years now, and I've been with the company about two months, and they sent me to Korea to see this this new stinger, and they give me a big document that a book of documents to kind of review on the very long flight over there. And and I tell you I remember like it was yesterday. I'm sit down on the plane. I start something through this book. And it's comparing this car from a technical perspective and an engineering mechanical space against you know, BMW's and Mercedes and Lexus and Audi and I remember, Gerald. Hopefully, my boss isn't here. I remember thinking he is crazy. What company if I joined, you know, I'm I'm excited work for I they do fantastic working optimism Sportages and Sorrento's and so forth. And and all of a sudden you're talking about this car to take on the Porsche Panamericana. And so I said, well, I'm looking forward to this decree. I see the car, and I say, yeah, there's something in this. And then I drive in early mule of it. And I say, yeah, this card is real. And as as you mentioned I used to work for Kelley blue book I worked for some of the motor trends publications in the past. I driven just about everything. And so I consider myself to be a reasonable. Critique critic of these kind of things, and and this car this car delivers so yeah, when you talk about competition, it's not anything from the Toyota stable. It's lexus. It's not looks like it's out. It's Porsche Panamericana is I mentioned it. It's Mercedes Benz. It's we're going after vehicles that are in some cases almost twice the price and meeting them, and in many cases, even exceeding. I'm looking here at some anybody just joining us. This is James Bill charges communications for Kia Motors of America out of California. And we're talking about the two thousand eighteen Kia stinger right now. And this the GT we're talking about particular. I'm looking at some zero to sixty times, and it's compared to the BMW four forty grand coupe the poor soprano Maria. We're real dry V6. of version the BMW six forty grand coupe and the Audi eighty five sports bag and zero to sixty it beats them all as it's a four point seven seconds to four forty four point eight, Panama and grand Cooper, five point four and Audi at five point seven. So we're talking about a Korean sports sedan. That's beating the Germans at their own game. I doing the right time. Yes, you did. Now when we talk about here, there are a lot of different muscle GT. Of course, that is the that's the halo. That's that aspiration vehicle. What does this starting price of the GT? GT will we actually do a version that is one that all the enthusiasts inside the company wanted to make available. That's just around forty. I think it's ends up like thirty nine five something in that space. Okay. That is all the good stuff. You know, we're will drive.

They are partners with most of our sports teams here. Enjoy the hog they do stuff with the radio network Kia has become a pretty big part of Atlanta. So the other day when I got a press release from someone in PR at Kia that showed a video of a female racecar driver jumping a period of media be a stock sedan driving it down this track jumping ramp jumping a race car and landing in a pile of boxes. And it was always behind the scene footage. Got me excited. I shared on social media. So if you haven't seen it Goto Adebayo, okay Facebook page, you could see that video. But when that happened I asked please get somebody to come in here and talk about the exciting things going on with Kia stinger. They have only have short period of time. I need to get a full test drive in it. And by this new Kia forte key is coming out. With more sedans when everybody else is just running completely to SUV's and see you vs and crossovers I wanted to find out what is key doing what the thinking. Why are we still seeing these sedan where they see going? So joining us this morning, we have James bail. Who's the director of corporate communications for has been with them since two thousand sixteen. He previously has been he's been a business about twenty years. He's worked with General Motors Kelley blue book. He's been all over the place, but he's a landed with Kia and as doing a great job the second time being here. James good morning. And thank you for waking up early on the west coast and joining us here on the auto inside news and talk. Thirteen eighty W A. Okay. With the kind introduction like that. I'll wake up anytime. Thank you so much. I you make me feel good will Kia is starting to make me feel good. He's days though. I like that it's joint when when I got this this press release, and it was about a forte. Most of the stuff I get now is about SUV, then I get invited onto the air. Come see this everything we see is SUV and Kia has started being a year. They when they came out with the stinger and everybody was the talk of the town. I had a Kia dealer. Call me, Tim, I need to be there when this anger got there. And I was there. And I must say, I'm impressed. What may Kia come up with a sports sedan in the climate of auto industry now? Well in regards to the stinger we needed a vehicle that. Use a lousy punt is a vehicle of change. You know, you you said earlier in the in the piece here that, you know, kids working really hard to be involved in the communities and have interesting vehicles and part of sports and just have the name brand out there. But you know, alternately, no, no matter how great your programs are that. You bet in the marketplace is the vehicles don't back it up. Then people are going to be disappointed. They might like a commercial like you described the forte jumping over a racing forte, many boxes and so forth. That's all nice. That's all important. But if if the vehicle that the person goes out and test drives or gets a ride in or from a friend or something like that doesn't up that new sensor letting feeling about the rent, then it's all the waste. And so that's why we need a stinger and into combination of it's a perfect storm of things that happen. You know, we've got Peter schreier who's been doing our design courses with without the and and and. You know, an absolute design hall of Famer who who just done some amazing work, if you're gonna make a car, you've gotta bend the sheet metal so you might as well banded pretty that's Peter's view, and he's been doing that in Africa for about ten years at the same time. We brought in a gentleman by the name of Albert Bearman who would ran engineering for BMW, especially in their division for. I think ten or fifteen years prior to joining Kia, and basically as he tells the story when he saw this beautiful design of this car is a stinger. Well, before it was decided to be produced his comment was and I'm gonna use a lousy German accent here. But you said these car drive is good as she looks. And and Albert, and he's a friend of mine toll-free, he doesn't hear this and give me for that. And that's what he did with a stinger. He taught the company how to make your car, absolutely dance. How to make it as he says, Dr is good as it looks. And and that's what the brand needed backup all this fantastic marketing fantastic promotions. And so forth. We needed a car that people got in and drove for even better when they saw it in the road and said I want to drive that then they drive it and say dying. There's there's something going on to this Kia brand. And that's where the singers here to do and Jiang's most of the talk that we hear that I hear about talking to journalists, and I get to spend a lot of time with people who are real current through the thing that we hear the most about it, the kiosk Dinger GT now when I look at I when I think about competition, you know, I was thinking like Honda Accord Toyota Avalon camera that kind of stuff. That's not who Kia was going after with this GT who who big competitors for the GTI here in the in the market. All right. So I'm gonna tell you a quick story. I promise all make this brief. So I joined as you mentioned I've been with care for about a little over two years now, and I've been with the company about two months, and they sent me to Korea to see this this new stinger, and they give me a big document that a book of documents to kind of review on the on very long flight over there. And and I tell you I remember like it was yesterday. I'm sit down on the plane starts thumbing through this book. And it's comparing this car from a technical perspective and an engineering mechanical space against BMW's, and Mercedes and Lexus and Audi and I remember, Darryl. My boss, isn't here this. I remember thinking is crazy. What what company if I joined, you know, I'm excited work for key? I know they do fantastic working optimism Sportages and Sorrento's and so forth. And and all of a sudden you're talking about this car to take on the Porsche Panamericana. And so I said, well, I'm looking forward to this. I get decree. I see the car, and I say, yeah, there's something in this. And then I drive an early you'll love it. And I said, yeah, this card is real. And as as you mentioned I used to work for Kelley blue book I worked for some of the motor trends locations in the past. I've driven just about everything. And so I consider myself to be a reasonable criti- critic of these kinds of things, and and this car this car delivers so yeah, when you talk about competition, it's not anything from the Toyota stable. It's lexus. It's not looks like it's out. It's Porsche Panamericana is I mentioned, it's it's Mercedes Benz. And this the GT we're talking about a particular. I'm looking at some zero to sixty times, and it's compared to the BMW four forty grand coupe the poor soprano Maria. We're real dry V six version, the BMW six forty I Gran coupe. And the Audi a five sport back in zero to sixty it beats them all it's a four point seven seconds to four forty four point eight PanAmerican and grand coupe five point four and Audi at five point seven. We're talking about a Korean sport sedan, that's beating the Germans at their own game. I joined Keith right time. Didn't that? Yes. You did. Now, we're talking about here. There are a lot of different GT. Of course, that is the that's the halo that that's that aspiration vehicle. What does this starting price of the GT? GT will we actually do a version that is one that all the enthusiasts inside the company wanted to make available. That's just around forty. I think it's ends up like thirty nine five something in that space. Okay. That is all the good stuff. You know, we're will drive.

"On the fours looks like the closer. On state, route five thirty in Arlington has finally been open for the most of tonight all westbound and. Eastbound lanes Arlington heights road were closed following a fatal, head-on collision that. Three different cars though it may not be fully open yet cars are definitely getting through now so the. Traffic congestions should be minimal in Renton there's been road construction that has, three lanes closed on four, or five northbound and. Also USC westbound has been closed between ninety nine and I five I'm. Gary Britain you're next KOMO traffic report. At one twenty four The air quality still is poor out there we were dealing with unhealthy levels we saw delays at seatac on Sunday and as. We get into the work week ahead we're going to continue to see. The air quality diminish it's, going to be very smoky, very hazy very widespread, we could get some gusty, winds as we get into Monday afternoon and. Evening gusts up to twenty miles. An hour coming out of the north. Bringing down, all that smoke from British Columbia our temperatures will be in the low sixties overnight and as. We get to Thursday we'll get a little marine push. Now hope clear. Out for the weekend from the KOMO weather center May ski His our auto expert on. KOMO news here's more with Nick miles Very rarely do I come across something that is potentially. So explosive to the car industry as I have done with Genesis this is a kind of company that started off as, part of the Hyundai brand and spun. Off a few years ago What they've ended up with is third fourth selling vehicles in their classes they've ended up being top of the heap as far as reliability the. Groundbreaking in a lot of the technology and in, the recent vehicle they just. Release the seventy they've ended up with some what what I would probably consider is one of the best dream. Teams of people making the. Vehicle that is absolutely possible. Kevin Smith is on, the, phone from Genesis Kevin welcome. To our auto expert so you are pretty lucky to have some of. The stars of the car industry working on the Genesis brand we are incredibly lucky neck I, thank you for noticing we have several key very very talented people at Genesis now they have really put together the dream. Team as you put it we've got Albert Bearman heading up product development and he spent thirty years at the end division We've got Manfred. FitzGerald global head of Genesis. Setting up Genesis he was. Previously the head of, Lamborghini, we've got Luc dunk of. Walker heading are designed department he was previously a Lamborghini as well as. An Audi brilliant designer and he's a master incredibly talented team of busyness within saying Yup Lee And others and they. Just do nominal work people may not know them, as individuals but they'll definitely know their work all. You have to do is look down some of the. Most prominent performance cars in the world and some of the most, incredible luxury cars in the. World and they haven't missed but incredibly enough when you look at the new Genesis g seventy it has a very individual look of its own. It's not like they borrowed anything, from. Any other, catalog this vehicle is absolutely a standalone vehicle that has designed for Genesis which, is unique and individual I think. One of the reasons they've been so successful attracting these designers to Genesis is they're. Not anchored with the, design heritage of the past like other. Brands have Lucan San Yup and Sasha. We'll tell you they're used to work from a design. Bible if you will with other brands they've worked on, there are, certain elements of the design that have to be in the, modern, cars It used to be in, the older cars with Genesis they've. Got a design bible and it's full of blind paper so they get to define it rewriting the bible I kinda like that when you when you look at the g seventy comes to market as. The third Genesis that you have brought out under, the Genesis name plate but it's just one of. Many 'cause it's coming because you're you're getting ready to. Sort of kick off your SUV lineup as well that's true yeah, we've got the three sedan. Now that's the foundation if you will but in the next few years to come with SUV's a third car that was not yet fully defined. At least those free pickles maybe, you. Can force, so we'll have a full portfolio six perhaps even seven vehicles within about three, years from now and your concept. Car the New York International Auto Show is spring really stole the show didn't it Absolutely? Dude yeah the essential is a stunning stunning concept car. And all electric car two-door foresee, just a carbon fiber body like I said all electric. With multiple Motors zero to sixty about three six three seconds. Spectacular Karna did steal the show, in New York. And it's been doing so sensitive concord elegance events around the globe where we see at at pebble coming up we will indeed it'll be it'll be at the Monterey. I'm sorry Nicole motor works experience. At the jet center on, Wednesday it'll be Quayle on Friday and it'll be on the Concorde lawn. Concept long. That, is at the concord elegance on Sunday I'm enamored with army may. Have to come and see it again when I'm pebble let's not get too distracted with took mad g seventy the new Genesis vehicle, so what does g. G seventy bring to the table that, other car companies are not bringing to the table in this segment because it. Goes up against it's about the same size if you're measuring as, the club The BMW three series so what does it bring to the table..
