"That's when Del Wamsley comes on. Call 83380 for 11. 40. That's 83380 for 11. 40. Coming up this hour. We're gonna talk about the biggest concern. Court. Well, according to a poll about Joe Biden getting elected president, We're going to talk to you about a first responders law that was passed this past week in Georgia. Some people are calling it racist. Because it protects first responders. Which is, you know, sometimes Yeah, I laugh and everything is stupid, but damn, we live in this country and this is what's happening in this country. Anyway, We'll talk about that. Going to talk about remote learning one of the bigger concerns about remote learning on DA controversy that has popped up here and we'll give you all that information. That's all coming up right now. Video emerged yesterday. Of police officers trying to handcuff an eight year old boy at his Florida elementary School during a 2018 arrest. And now the mother of the young boy is, of course. Suing the local school and police officers for allegedly using scared straight tactics on her then eight year old son who has special needs, handcuffing the boy and taking him to an adult prison after he was accused of assaulting a teacher. This is, according to the family's lawyer, Ben Crump, who is the he is the civil rights attorney. Do your so which means he doesn't actually care about any of the cases. He's just trying to get us face on TV, as much as possible is usually What happens? It was Jesse Jackson. Then it was Al Sharpton. Now we got Ben Crump. So whatever civil rights attorney Ben Trump is expected to hold a press conference today to discuss he probably really held it actually to discuss the 2018 case in which he said officers from the key West Police Department arrested his client's son, who was eight years old. Three put foot five and £64 at the time and told him you're going to jail. And It's a big deal. Police were called To the school, Gerald Al Adams Elementary on December 14th 2018 after the child punched a teacher in the chest. I don't punch. You know why I keep on getting back to this? I don't know why. I don't know why it's a running theme. This is not intentional on my part. In any way, shape or form, but I don't understand. How nobody is responsible for their actions anymore. I realized that this is a kid, There's an eight year old kid, and maybe they were trying to scare him straight. What's wrong with that? Where? Where? Why is that a problem? You teach the kid when he's eight years old, not toe punch people not to hit adults and by the way, even if you Even if you don't agree with what the police did and what the adults in the situation did. Why are we not looking at Mom? Why are we not looking at the parents of the kid who thought it was okay toe punch an adult. Why is that? Not a thing? I mean, I'm not saying that what the police did was necessarily okay. It probably wouldn't have been my Tak. Maybe they've had in Ah, bunch of incidents with this kid, and they thought, Let's try this. Little punk won't behave. Let's try this. And they got the police involved. Maybe it works. Maybe it doesn't. But I don't think it justifies a lawsuit. Maybe that's just me, The teacher said the boy repeat repeatedly refused to step properly. In this cafeteria bench seat, so she asked him to take a walk with her. Okay? I'm not. I'm not seeing anything lawsuit worthy just yet. That's when when he went to take a little walk with her. He punched the teacher in the chest and then said, My mom is gonna beat your blank. You're a my mom is going to beat your a now. Where would an eight year old boy here? Something like that? From SpongeBob. The sponge Bob ever threatened to beat Patrick's, eh? I don't think so. And specifically Mentioning the mom. It does make one question the parenting styles that are going on. But then again, this is 2020 and nobody is responsible for anything they do, including raising their own child. Nobody is responsible for that again. I'm not saying that I want the police arresting eight year olds. But hell, they can't They can't arrest black lives matter Protestors anymore. So what else can they arrest? They probably only can't arrest eight year old and now we got a lawsuit against that. So ah, the eight year old who apparently heard the phrase My mom is going to beat your A. Which he said to a teacher after punching her, by the way. What would you do to this kid? I can tell you what they were in school. He would have been well. When I was in school. My mind I went to private school corporal punishment if I was a teacher. I probably still wouldn't be able to sit, but they probably would've called the police if I was in school. I don't really see a big problem. Officers arrested the boy who is not named in the report because of his age and charged him with felony battery. The status of the case is unclear. Video was posted on social media by the civil rights attorney, Benjamin Crump, who said he is representing the boy's mother and the upcoming federal lawsuit against the officers, school officials and the city of Key West as well as the Monroe County School district. Let's sue as many people as possible. So the little kid who attacked a teacher and told the teacher that his mom was going to beat her. You know what? Let's see if we can get them. Can anybody point out anything that was done wrong by the police or the teacher here? Can it Can anybody tell me what justifies a lawsuit here? Again. I'm not saying that I would call that I have actually been to key West and if it's not night time, and there's not a lot of drinking going on at the bars, the police don't probably have a whole lot to do. It's kind of a key West is kind of a sleepy place. Except at night when the bars were open s O. They probably did have the time to arrest the eight year old. But maybe just maybe there's some parenting issues here. Maybe just maybe we shouldn't be teaching our kid that mommy is going to beat the teachers. You know what Because that's what the eight year old said he heard it somewhere. Like I said, it wasn't from SpongeBob..

"Was GonNa get, too so the story of the the fourth, and what turned out to be the final game of the seventy four seventy five season, it was played the capital center. Golden State's got a three nothing series lead in by the way the thought was phil mentioned this. They didn't think they routed a series down three nothing. They still felt that they were the better. But Rick, Barry's putting together. You know an incredible series and he's dominating the bullets. He's outplaying the stars. Elvin Hayes Wes unseld and in before game four Mike Reardon. Who was the the bullets small forward he was a Knick to you? Remember him with the Knicks he played. He played with both Willison wet exactly my career. His nickname was bags Mike Rewritten was essentially the guy given the responsibility to take Rick Berry out of the game as in knocking him out physically, and that's the. The way basketball was played back then, and the plan was that reardon was going to try to agitate and get into a fight You know an intentional fight with Rick. Berry and game both tossed from game. Four will really gets in the fight and attacks, Berry, and Al Attles was the coach of state will before the Game West apparently was given the responsibility of Al Annals pre-written said I'm going after. Rick Perry I'M GONNA TAKE HIM OUT WEST AL's coming off the bench. You've got him. Engineer told the story about how Al Al Aduls was the head coach of Golden State and was a tough tough guy as you said and when reardon gets into the fight with Berry, and you can see this. This is a youtube game. You can see west. As Al. aduls come sprinting off the bench step in front or rear. And is Chenier, said it took every ounce of the strongest man in the Game Wes unseld strength to keep. Allah handles away from the skirmish. Als. L. Adults got tossed from that game. He got kicked out of the game. which golden state eventually won to clinch the NBA Championship in Washington but Al Adams was not on the floor to see it. He was back in the locker room. Berry by the way did not get booted from the game. He stayed in the game and ended up with you. Know another good game in Golden State won the game and swept the the bullets, but. Listening to Chenier, tell talk about unsettled been given that assignment and West is like man als, actually a tough dude like he's really like who were the tough guys of that era like I know Clifford Ray and Mo- Lucas who played with Walton. Maurice Lucas in in Portland was bought Bob Lanier a tough guy, right? Yeah, these were all all tough guys you know but Westwood West. What's probably? The most feared a of that.

going on especially pandemic quarantine addition target double Friday is is the best type of targetable Friday what is everybody doing at home probably what you got planned for home again although maybe some of you and your states are opening up a little bit we've got sports on the docket for some the docket again coming up tomorrow Bundes Liga which is Germany's division one soccer league is one of the best in the world and by the way if you were wondering there is a reason as American sports fan to watch the Buddhist leader there is gonna be five matches tomorrow morning beginning at nine thirty eastern time and in a match at twelve thirty PM eastern time those are going to be either on FS one or Fox Sports go the app so if you have S. wanted you should be able to watch two different matches tomorrow including the team of the morass gonna root for Frankfort because number one they're nicknamed the eagles which is what his high school's nickname was I was the Wildcats you with the eagles and number two because Frankford is of course the origin of the Frankfurter cell morass could root for hot dogs and his high school eagles if you root for Frankfort tomorrow twelve thirty but there's also a reason for American sports fans to care about the Buddhist Leica there are American sports soccer players that played their import to want to play for our national team Tyler Adams used to play for the New York red bulls he plays the Buddhist llegan al Adams is one of the best young twenty something soccer players that we've developed so he's playing across seas Josh Sargent also one of the best young American soccer players that we've developed playing in the Bundesliga John Brooks also national team member these are guys that have either presence or futures on the US men's national team I'm kind of geek about that tomorrow gonna be able to watch good soccer in the morning on TV that saliva that involves Americans I love it give it to me pop it right into my veins I am absolutely all and then Sunday NASCAR races at Darlington and so we're back at all by the way they're gonna turn around when you get on Wednesday so we're back baby we got some actually got some Jews here we've also got the final two episodes of the last dance coming up on Sunday for the first time in a long time ago sports weekend here as Pete the body body might say give me some juice we got some juice hello Jones and by the way you Moran's there are prop bets all into the final episodes all of the last dance okay you wanted to sell the property why is Vegas desperate yes I hooked we want to know or at least Vegas once a bad on over or under episode ten final episode average viewership over under six million folks okay also the rating in Chicago over under a twelve market rating first person shown in episode ten is it fill Jerry Krause Pippin Reinsdorf for Rodman that's a question that's a prospect also how many people will be shown with a cigar in their mouths the over under is three how many times will the F. word be said in this case if the one we can't say not fact we're not allowed to say fat here the show as well but they're talking about the other F. word any forward to it here to me is the most interesting prop bet and I want to get your bed on this morass because I don't know where I'm going to go on this yet yes or no will Jordan be shouldered the wizards uniform yes the reason this is interesting is because if you told the story of Michael Jordan of course you have to include a shot of him and at least a brief synopsis of his two seasons in Washington which most people would like to forget however this is a documentary that it had to be green lighted by Michael they have clearly made up all of the directorial decisions and editorial decisions based on what Michael wants clearly they have not look too upset Michael because nothing has gone against Michael's narrative they have not challenged to Michael so if he doesn't want the wizards years then then they will put it in this is about the nineties bulls ninety eight sees the last dance so hypothetically they could get away and defend themselves by not including a mall made a slide a video of Jordan the wizards Jersey but boy would it be hiding from that right every gosh it would be so running and hiding from the reality if they didn't I think they will but I gotta say it's a pretty good prop bet because you could go either way on this yeah I think the way you're going to catch this prop that ticket is almost kind of like a loophole my prediction for where you seem to wizards jerseys I think we will get to kind of an end wrap yes much like a movie what happened to them next because they're right it's all for ninety eight the flashing back I think it you know basically as it ends you'll get like a still shot of Michael Jordan a wizards Jersey Michael Jordan would come out of retirement again played two years at the wizard Scotty Pippin you know would make the playoffs again you know here's him with the users and rockets Phil Jackson would go on to coach here said coach in Kobe and Shaq and the Lakers ride like I think you're gonna get kind of like that ending montage of where all these important players ended up also I'd forgotten this I just saw this stack Jordan actually is the only player to score fifty points in three different decades he did it in the eighties nineties and two thousands he once scored fifty for the wizards I could see them including the VAT as this kind of like conquering heroes swan song when M. J. put it all together to make it look like he was better than he was well he wasn't terrible in Washington I think the average twenty points a game for both seasons so it wasn't terrible obviously and one time hit fifty which is pretty amazing but it's largely forgotten because it was sad to see an older Michael Jordan playing on the wizards for non playoff team to consecutive years I could see them try to we've been to the grand fifty point outburst of Michael Jordan on the wizards that could yet I mean that maybe that's included a montage yet that he would score fifty points becoming the third but you know something like that but I I bet you can add that at worst I still shot of him in the ending credits if you will on what happened to everybody after ninety four rounds we got this we got tomorrow NASCAR on Sunday at three thirty from Darlington we got the last dance episodes nine and ten it's all coming back to us and look I've never been a big golf I you got a big skins golf matches we get to Ricky Feller involved as well so if you're a golf fan you get a little golf shoes as well we got some juice there she turned all perfect the last dance for as critical as I've been about some of the editorial decisions highs to bridge the gap to support for us it in wraps up on the day that sports finally comes back a great deal you guys might not all be NASCAR fans but it is the first sign of things cracked a little bit and look we got NASCAR on Sunday on a Wednesday the next Sunday as well I will he gets we've got coverage on the docket for some the docket again it's competition DA it's competition there there's gambling involved there's anything we can get the mix let's go nice weekend for a TV outside let's indulge how many more episodes of you want Netflix can one watch weather is getting better you're going outside you're cracking a beer and now you got sports on TV we got live sports on TV that's all we ever wanted it's all we've been asking for in Los Angeles the rams are asking for a cool five hundred million dollars why well how about this according to the athletic the rams need money to finish their stadium all a very happy they also need an extension to pay back the borrowed money according to Daniel Kaplan reporter at the athletic the rams request would have them borrowing up to nine hundred million dollars for the completion of the stadium and asking to repay it over thirty years instead of fifteen it's because the price tag all over the stadium has skyrocketed and they're not gonna likely have fans inside the stadium this year they can't sell their personal seat licenses were they were gonna try to make up a billion dollars of it and so without stadium rapid you they're screwed and how about I don't know this projection is correct I can't believe this number actually but here is what the CBSSports dot com report says this so five budget because of quote pricey earthquake mitigation measures the so five stadium budget has been pushed all the way to between five and six billion dollars five now five to six billion dollars for us DDO that number does not seem real I mean how pricey or the earthquake mitigation measures is there actually a little munchkin underneath every poll it it balancing it on his shoulders and heads if the earthquake happens I mean right you see earthquake mitigation measures added like three billion dollars to the price tag is that possible what if what if I'm not mistaken whereas Jerry built Jerry world in Dallas for a little more than a billion dollars if I'm not mistaken waited less than a billion but I think it was right up right around the bill I'm pretty sure that both met life stadium in Jerry world cost about the same in Arthur blank's palace cost just a tad bit more but you're talk about five times that exactly yes we know that the Meadowlands met life stadium which is a total whole what's gross it's stupid it's not even worth of the money that was paid for but was worth I think one point two billion dollars right so I and again not that I'm gonna pretend to be Mr construction Mr finance but I can only compare this to something in my world here okay okay yeah D. A. let's just say this is for like earthquake almost protection if you will the you know to stand the test of an earthquake obviously you don't want that to happen but it's it's almost like you know insurance with in the building because it's actual support right that's the way you're garnering this it's like stuff that's supposed to withstand it of course yeah okay so here's where I would look at it I built this outdoor bar rebuild Bob's bar and we've talked about this and I just discussed putting a TV outside there are outdoor TV's your standard outdoor TV goes for about a thousand dollars.

"The best content on the web. If I do say so myself. I'm are Joe Joe. He's James Pleasure. If you're listening on the BBC podcast you didn't hear that fantastic bumper because of the law that it was Carlos santanas smooth which is one of the better songs in the world. I've mentioned pledge. I've that is the CLICHE. Tnt Goto Song during the Spurs Game. Like the put him journal blue. But anyway so the Dallas cowboys this week made a move savion Smith cornerback from the Houston roughnecks Alabama former five star recruit. I mean Lsu. Clearly they don't need to make any moves anymore in all seriousness. The cowboys I think have done a great job of preparing. It's kind of like I've never run a marathon before but my wife has right and so it's kind of like when you do that. You like prepare right and you eat the right things to make sure you have enough nutrients you eat the glue or whatever in your prepared and you have the playlist. You're set in your ready in the case of any potential sort of hiccup or emergency or whatever you've got something going the cowboys kind of have that I mean you know what I mean like. They've got on Smith Morris Kennedy. They have a safety ha ha Clinton dix. They have two defensive tackles and Joe McCoy and Antero. I mean the only need that they have. They have not addressed in some shape. Form or fashion and free agency is wide receiver. They need a slot receiver. And that's the only thing they haven't addressed they near Slot. I also I mean you can pump Maurice Kennedy and saving on Smith as much as you want but I'm not pump. Let's let's be clear. I'm just listing when Byron Jones has walked out the door and your top corners. Are She Tobaiwa Jordan? Lewis who I think can be really good and Anthony Brown. It's I feel great about my Secondary if I would if I was a Dallas Cowboys Fan. I would feel very uneasy. You shouldn't feel great. You should feel uneasy in fact should feel extremely easy especially because even if you think that they're great a year from now they're all gonna be free agents except for Anthony Browne on top of that. You will have to have paid deck on tonight. You'll have to pay deck. That's true and next offseason. I mean again. I'm not trying to you know. Just the sky's falling. But next offseason you Michael Gallup's eligible for a contract extension so things The Rams taught us anything. It's to not do a contract too early when there aren't a rookie deal man. The Rams I mean forty million dollars in debt money. They're paying todd. Gurley and Brandin cooks so much money to play for them. It's unbelievable but but they're the rams so anyway look the rams went all in and they got to a super bowl in order. I mean like it was it was worth it but you know there. There was a legitimate logic to what they did. But but so the cowboys. This week This past week I should say have interviewed or announced more interviews. They've been doing all virtual online socially distance interviews as of now pledge and we have a tracker available for you at blogging dot com with every interview. The cowboys have documented. They have some interesting names. They have three wide receivers and three defensive tackles. That's interesting to me. I mean it stands out and more than anything. I'm fascinated how the cowboys have been particular about who they are announcing the fat interviews with. Who are your top three. I guess. Let's call them if you're looking for a slot receiver in this year's draft. Who would be your top three choices to be a Dallas Cowboy? Well that depends. I mean like what round and I you. It doesn't matter what round you're looking at what you're asking me? I'm I'm taking C. D. lamb at seventeen. That's that's my answer. I don't think he's going to be there personally. I I think he's going to be you. Don't think they're at seventeen. You're saying that the temptation isn't even there. I think the best slot in this class might be Justin Jefferson. Okay the receiver from Lsu. I think very close probably you can get them in the second or Third Brown but somebody that's going to be able to work out of the slot. Do those kind of things you did with Randall. Cobb maybe even some some you know sweeps and runs and stuff that you did with Tehran Austin and stuff like that I think Devon du Vernay out of the University of is would fill fill the role of slot receiver very wh especially in Dallas China. Remember the last Longhorn that the cowboys drafted and I believe it was Jeff. Suame in two thousand fifteen so and then a minute and then somebody. That's very similar to Randall Cobb. In terms of just the way he kinda gets Jack and works underneath. And you kinda use them in a whole bunch of different ways and they're the he had a a core muscle surgery after the combine that he ended up injuring La- viscous Chenault may fall in the name of the injury and the medicals and not being able to exactly know where he is. He was talked about early in. The process is a late first. Rounder you may be able to snag them in the second or third round now you know. Interestingly enough when it comes to the VISCA specifically a few weeks ago. Let's see. I wrote this on April first. It wasn't a joke Pro Football Focus had an analytics based mock draft that particular day and they and their formula that goes into it There's certainly you know the world of analytics is very interesting. But they had the cowboys taking the Trayvon digs but they were not the first person or entity to conduct an analytic space. Mock draft in fact. This was I knew this was before then back on March Sixth Cynthia freeland friend of blogging. The boys put together an analytic space. Mock DRAFT NFL. Medias like sort of foremost expert on all things analytics and she had a lot of criteria that went into her analytic space and this was the first round. Mock draft. Mind you again. This was back on March. Six and with the seventeenth overall pick. She had the cowboys taking the viscous. Chenault the Colorado wide receiver again. This is sort of analytic space. And I don't I'm certainly not start at the freeland but I found that interesting that from an analytics perspective. May we did? And I don't know I again. This is my sort of way superficial level understanding and I don't remember the entire mock but I wonder if the analytics argument is like points points points points so everybody's taking wide receivers. Artemis which demerits Levinsky Guana the cowboys I don't think is points points points base. I think a lot of it would have to do with. Of course she act which he got a lot of wallet. Colorado has ability to get separation coming out of breaks. I was wondering model. She use like they're different analytics that help to solidify like rang. Off the line of scrimmage things like that because CD lamb wouldn't rank high in those factors because he got free releases so many times because of the offense that. Oh you runs on. That's obviously those sort of philosophy reminds whatever you WANNA call it. The copies of adopted offensively is we need pristine route. Runners can gain separation You know I remember hearing. I think it was an interview with Brandon Bean. I forget who but there was an interview with somebody that I heard on the podcast. Six months ago talking about how the buffalo bills really really really went heavy in that same mindset. That's why they moved on from Kelvin. Benjamin and they went and got receivers like Cole Beasley. That could gain separation. And it's you look they traded for Stefan Digs and certainly paid more than there is on Carlos Different Andre Hopkins. So that's it's interesting. It's an interesting thought exercise. This is looking a little ahead. Pledge but it's something that we're GonNa talk about next week on the blog and the boys podcast for you and I wanted to get your thought to kind of set the table. What is the most talented Dallas Cowboys team? That didn't win the Super Bowl. Oh we're going to explore this a little bit more in depth so for the bt listeners. We'll definitely you know we'll we'll toss it around ladies San Antonio but we're going to cover it all week long. It's a bit of our theme for us next week. What's what's the one that comes to me because I have four and I'm sort of sort of going at it with four specific teams. I don't know if you want me to tell you. Obviously the one I think of is the one that kept them from repeating. That's ninety four ninety four my forty that. I mean you look at the talent. They had on both sides of the ball. And just the amount of hall of famers on that team and it's. It's almost blatantly obvious that that should be probably one. I'm pretty sure one of Romo's teams at least should be on that list. So you talk about garage and flows Al Adams and Damore fairy way. I've thought about this in you. Know there are a lot of ways to go but I think you can certainly. I don't know about talent but you could. You could go. Nineteen seventy cowboys. That lost to the Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl. Five you could go the one thousand nine hundred eighty eighty one eighty two teams that lost the NFC championship games. Under Danny why I wanted to keep it not somewhat fresh but you know last quarter century so to speak ish. I Know Ninety four technically is in that but just for the purposes of everybody's memories a little bit a little bit more on block from the last twenty five twenty six years than anything further back so my four teams and we're GONNA explore to these a little bit more in depth like I said the Sheila Preview get the nineteen ninety-four cowboys lost the NFC championship game. On the road. In San Francisco after surrendering a twenty one point lead to the forty niners gave it their all but couldn't ultimately clawback two thousand seven. The first Tony Romo team that lost the New York giants eventual suitable champions. Obviously just like the niners ninety four. I mean that was an incredibly talented team. Thirteen pro bowlers. You know and you look. I mean that had te'o that head Jason Whitney in Prime Jason Witten yeah right similarly a keeping someone in team. The two thousand fourteen cowboys. I think you know they weren't as talented. I don't think either one of those two teams from an overall roster perspective but that was Tony Romo operating at the absolute peak of his powers. And so I think that was. That was still prime. Dez Bryant and so and prime prime but certainly elite cowboys offensive line and my final one for you and allow you to pick the two thousand sixteen cowboys the thirteen and three team one seed that lost to now. Mike McCarthy's are not now. But then Mike McCarthy Green Bay packers and I'd like to throw one more in there just to Kinda and it's not because of their record or anything like that but you look on paper at last year's team and we all thought that that was a super bowl caliber team you have Robert Quinn who I love and a half sacks Byron Jones who just got paid the most money by any cornerback in free agency. You had back operating at the height of his powers. You have Zeke. Who is still performing. You added a Randall Cobb in the slot you had a Maury Cooper and Michael Gallup Layton Band Rush Jalen Smith both coming off phenomenal seasons the year before and demarcus Lawrence coming off his big. You had so many pieces on this team that the fact that they didn't make the playoffs is a shame. That's a fair take. Certainly I think because you're saying talent like maybe the most talented teams to never win. Obviously it's a subjective exercise And I certainly agree with your line of thought. I think maybe we put more time between two thousand nine hundred eighteen and us. We'll lump that one in but I mean I think when you I guess for me like where it's hard to put those on the same categories the others because in the ninety four team when the NFC championship game three made it to the divisional round of the playoffs.

"Teams. I remember as a Kid. All right and rooting for they were the biggest favorite in NBA history in the NBA finals to lose. It's still considered to be rick. Barry's always called this. He quit he played for the warriors. The biggest Nba Finals upset. Ever the bullets were prohibitive favorites. Everybody predicting that they would sweep. The upstart warriors led by Rick. Perry Rick Perry was a great player a great NBA player a difficult teammate. By all accounts incredibly arrogant and fond of himself but was a great NBA score. I've had him on the show. Radio show a couple times. He's an outstanding guest with with a phenomenal memory and the ability to really tell great stories but anyway those NBA finals. Were supposed to be an easy four-game sweep for the bullets. Well Golden State won the first three games and they came back to landover the capital. Center for game four and the story about this particular game which is featured in this short story about the nineteen seventy five. Nba Finals is that the bullets were so frustrated with Rick. Perry that they basically had a plan to take him out and when I say take him out take him out. Physically Mike. Reardon was a small forward for the bullets. Then all right. Tough Guy. Six six Good shooter left-hander. And basically they agreed that reardon would takeout. Berry. And when I say take him out like physically try to hurt him to take him out of the game so west unsettled. Who is the hall of Fame Center on the bullets and for those of you? That don't know sunsilk six seven Strong as an ox. One of the most feared players of that particular. Nba Era. He was no nonsense. You did not mess with wes. Unseld he he. He gave you the the most difficult pick. A set. Hard picks had the outlet pass that he became famous for Kevin. Love Outlet Pass was patterned. After Wes unseld in Fact Kevin. Love's middle name is Wesley named after Wes unseld his father played with wes. Unseld in Baltimore Anyway the plan was to take out to take out rick. Perry but wes unseld told Mike reardon. If you take Rick Barry Out Al adults who is the coach of the warriors is GonNa come off? The bench is going to try to beat your ass. Al Adams was this incredibly. He's an incredible physical specimen feared and he was the coach. This was the matchup first matchup in. Us sports history to feature to African Americans as the head coach as the head. Coach is Casey. Jones was the bullets coach and als- was the coach of the warriors. Anyway early in the game and they've got the film of it. Rewritten GOES AFTER. Berry with a punch to the back of the head. This is the way this game was played back. Then he punched him in the back of the head and here comes AL adults as unsold predicted off the bench heading for rewritten and unsettled. Uc jumps right in the middle of it. Stop Saddles dead distracts will the West said. It was hard because he was a strong dude. Adults gets kicked out of the game. Reardon gets kicked out of the Game Berry stays in the game. Golden STATE WINS GAME FOR TO COMPLETE THE SWEEP WITH AL ADULTS. Their coach in the locker room and they swept the bullets in. Berry with phenomenal They couldn't figure them out. They tried to take him out physically and he he wasn't eating took the punch to the back of the head but continued to play and that completed one of the biggest upsets in NBA history. They then followed with the nineteen seventy six. Nba Finals the next year. Which was Phoenix? Against Boston and game. Five in the Boston Garden. I'll just I'll just tell you one of the most memorable. Nba Games in history triple overtime NBA game. Five to two is the series Gar. Heard remember him when he coached the The wizards he hit a shot at the end of the second overtime after the game was supposedly over fans stormed the court. One of the fans took on one of the referees Richie powers and punched him all. Hell broke loose in the Boston Garden. It was nine o'clock tip on a Friday night. They set it up by talking about how drunk everybody was But anyway if you ever WanNa see an incredible finish to a game Brent Musburger and Rick Barry Actually on the call you know Google game. Five Boston Phoenix nineteen. Seventy six and look. What happened from the end of regulation on? It was crazy so then there were other stories. And I'll tell you a two others real quickly and then we'll go for the day There was a lot in this In what I saw over the four five hours that I watched about Bill Walton. In the my favorite story about Bill Walton was told by Denny crum Denny Crum was the Longtime Louisville Coach Right Louisville as they say down there. I think you won. Two National Championships looked at up seemingly national championships. Danny Crumlin at Louisville He won the IRV Ellison over the Duke Final and eighty six and I think he was the coach of the team that beat. Ucla in the final two time champions time all right one second vital force six final. Ease a Helluva coach. I mean he's the one that developed Louisville into a national power. Yeah so he was John. Wooden top assistant at Ucla. During the UCLA. Dominant years of the sixties into the early seventies denny crum's was called by a UCLA. Alum who lived in San Diego. Say you've got to come watch this kid. He's a red headed freckle faced. You Know Center. He leaves plane down here in San Diego for a public school. You gotta come watch him so denny crum gets in his car. Drives down to San Diego to watch. Bill Walton played for the first time he had I think he said he had thirty something points. They won by fifty and his stats for the year. At that point he was averaging over thirty game and shooting eighty four percent from the field. That's what Walton was shooting in. Highschool chromosome came back told the Great John. Wooden coach. I've just watched the greatest high school basketball player. I have ever seen wooden told him to stop exaggerating. Said Stop saying stupid things Danny come on and he said coach. He's the Greatest High School Basketball Player. I've ever watched his parents are cal alums and if we don't move fast we're going to have to play against him twice a year and that's going to be a big problem. Well the rest is history. They signed Walton Walton always dreamt about playing for Ucla and they went on the longest winning streak in college. Basketball history. Eighty eight games before they lost Notre Dame and part of that eight eighty eight game win streak included a game to start the nineteen seventy three seventy four season against Maryland in Pauley Pavilion Maryland was ranked fourth. Ucla was ranked number one. Ucla's win streak at that point with seventy something games Maryland had already been being coached by lefty drizzle. Had already he had already proclaimed that they would become the ucla of the east. Aaron in December of Nineteen seventy-three. This was a massive sporting event on the national level Maryland at Ucla to open up the nineteen seventy-three season. Billy Packer tells the story about the game. It's lefty UCLA at East at Pauley number. One against number four and Maryland lost the game sixty five to sixty four. They had the ball at the end with a chance to win the game. John Lucas got trapped in the corner and threw. It threw the ball away and they ended up losing sixty five to sixty four Nc State would later go on To beat UCLA in the national semifinals which ended the seven year national championship championship streak of Ucla. The other quick Walton story was told by Jack Ramsay because they had a whole Short story on the on the seventy seven trailblazers. Dr John Jack. Ramsay who coached the seventy seven trailblazer steam call build call. Bill Walton the most skilled center in the history of the game by the way something. I've heard many people say over the years and the greatest passing big man of all time. We missed out on what could have been the greatest career for center of all time because Bill Walton got injured. He injured his feet had multiple surgeries. Came back. You know in nineteen eighty six and was part of that Celtics? Eight hundred sixteen where he came off the bench for Robert Parish but Ramsey said Walton's the most skilled center in the history of the game. And then there was one more Sort of short story that I saw over the weekend it was. It was my favorite because it included one of my all time favorite players. George the ICEMAN GERVIN. Who is one of the great scorers in the history of the NBA and one of the short stories on this basketball? A love story series was about nineteen seventy eight the end of the regular season and the battle for the regular season scoring title between the ICEMAN and David Thompson. This is an incredible basketball day in very. Interestingly there's not video or film of either one of the two games at these guys played does not exist so in this particular short story part of the episode. It's all animated and then with the two players you know interviewed about that day. So what happened on that day? Is David Thomson? Overtook the scoring lead early in the day by scoring seventy three points at Cobo arena against the Detroit Pistons. Gervin 's San Antonio Spurs team played at night. They were playing New Orleans. In the Superdome New Orleans was the jazz before the jazz became. The Salt Lake became the Utah Jazz and they moved to Salt Lake City. They were playing in New Orleans and they played their home games in the superdome. So that's the final game of the year for the Spurs Gervin told before the game the David Thompson went for seventy three and if he is going to retain the scoring title for the year he needs fifty nine in this game. They had already clinched the playoff berth. The coach was Doug Moe at the time all of his teammates said ice. We're GONNA WE'RE GONNA keep feeding you're going to get fifty nine. Hit fifty three at halftime. You have to understand if you don't if you if you don't know George Gervin. He was a six eight skinny to guard. He's the one of the greatest and most entertaining players in the history of the game. He certainly one of the greatest scorers of all time. He had fifty three in the first half. So we only need six in the third quarter. And he's telling the story and he said what was really cool about it. He said in the first half Pete Marriage Pistol Pete. Played for the jazz was on the bench because he had been ruled out of. That game was injured and during the whole first half. He's rooting George. Gervin on ice. Keep going keep going you. You gotta get to fifty nine rooting against his own team. And George Gervin looks into the camera and said you know what that was said that was to artists communicating with each other to the greatest appreciating each other pistol. Pete cheering me on against his own team so anyways fifty three at halftime he only needs six. Gets the six quickly at fifty nine so he retains the scoring title. The coach says Doug Moss says will take you out now and he says coach Leamy and let me get a couple more just in case they miscalculated so we got four more ended up with sixty three in thirty three minutes and took a seat now. He thinks had he really wanted to. He could broken Wiltz record on that particular night that the they were feeding him over and over again that he could have gone out and gotten at that point you know wilt had the hundred.

"Hundred eighty seven eight play but until then let's take a look the NFL week Eh. Sixteen is done so we are now one week left in the regular season. That's it only one week and then the playoffs music. No Yeah. There's no way there's going to be a bunch of drama wrong. Let's start things off Monday night. Football at ball. The last game a week sixteen packers win twenty three ten over the Minnesota Vikings Kirk cousins. Oh at nine on Monday night. Football thing he's Oh nine and he's not nine and he's only ten Zion. I'm struggling to remember what he was going into the game but he lost again so he's neither. Oh and nine or ten. Not undefeated folks winless on Monday night. Football shot up to kirk cousins for having nine or ten Monday night. Football starts starts though. That's impressive good on him but yeah has never won. One hundred twenty two yards one touchdown one interception now a lot of times James Kirk cousins fault. He doesn't show up and in a in a way. That's that's a fair assessment. Not even trying to be a jerk. I'm not a kirk cousins cousins hater backs. I'm spitting facts at Ya. Kirk cousins has a history kirk cousins sounded like I said Kurt Kurt Kirk cousins get a habit of not showing up in big games at least in Prime Time Dion Sanders I will give him the huge benefit of the doubt on this one. He was missing his number. One running back Dalvin Cook injured. They're they're trying to give him as much as possible before the playoffs start because remember the NFC playoff field is set. There's no chaos at least not completely. It said the seating can break loose there. There's four different teams. Who can be the number one seed in the NFC sing about four different teams with one week left? I'm pretty sure the saints and the packers are still in it. I know for sure the seahawks and the forty niners are still in it. Nice and confusing. We'll break that down in the next segment as well. Just the various playoff scenarios. We'll take a look at that but kirk cousins. I'm just GONNA I. I just realized the rest of the show. Probably the rest of this week recipe this year. Maybe the rest of forever. I'M GONNA put the unnecessary secetary emphasis on the second. Cain his name can be. Hey guys seem kirk cousins. Yeah that's just the way. My brain works works folks anyway. Know starting writing back delvin cooks out Adam feeling hampered by Hannie last few weeks. He's clearly not one hundred percent yet. Okay there's that too. Oh the backup running back. Alexander Madison the rookie. Yeah he's Alexander. Alexander Madison Sorry Madison and Hamilton. Have the same I think there's three syllables Mattis Hamilton. Yeah they both have three syllables. I've Seen Hamilton. I'M A fan. Go ahead if you haven't officially by Dominic Jimenez no but He was hurt too. They said he could have played obviously at less than one hundred percent so they weren't going to chance it again. They're pretty much locked into the playoffs. They did have a shot at the NFC North still but they had to win this game. In Kirk cousins this season has been one of those. WanNa call loyd underrated. But he's not getting the publicity and press that some of these other quarterbacks are and he's been solid he's put up numbers burst but they know the Vikings are doing. Well they feel a little bit like Matthew Stafford numbers a little bit hollow like one game. He'll throw for four hundred yards and five touchdowns the next game you'll throw for two hundred yards a touchdown in two picks. Well even that out. He's throwing for three hundred yards ords per game. That's three touchdowns a game and only interception a game. Yeah the averages work out fine that's an issue. It is the inconsistencies kirk cousins very. They've been there for a while. Is Not anything new trying desperately for my computer to work and it's not so great live radio but now kirk cousins hundred and twenty two yards without is number one running back without his number two running backs a number three running back Mike Boone. who was great last week? A revelation Alexander Inter Madison was out last week. Delve and cook got her in the game. Did Not come back. And then Bam Mike. Boone runs one hundred yards. Sure why not giving me. DENVER broncos vibes broncos. Always seem to have a thousand yard rusher no matter who it is Landis Landis Gary Clinton Portis Philip Lindsay the rookie last year. I think he was undrafted. Rookie last year thousand yards. Ronnie Hillman doesn't matter who's in the backfield. Somebody rents thousand yards on. Mike only ran for hundred yards last night. Yeah he was under thirty yards Russia and it wasn't like he had five carries and he was averaging six yards no not the case. He wasn't very good. That's an issue now. Galvin Cook is ready to go for the playoffs. Then who cares. delvin Cook one of the best running backs in football. You'll be good to go but they gotta get him healthy. You GotTa Get al Adams Zealand healthy because yes depan digs dynamic playmaker but you can always always use a receiver like Adam feeling now. He's not just an underneath guy. He's not he's much more than that. He runs excellent routes crisp sharp. Get Separation Adam feeling is fun to watch you can beat your deep and he can run an underneath route. A little in a little slant I forget what the Zigzag were they go in and break back out the Danny. AM IN DOLLAH special. It's it's it's what I call that route. They need to get him as close to one. Hundred percent is possible. Also because he's a big part of what you can do it. Just just look what happened to the Houston Texans. They're number two. Receiver goes down. The the defense can focus on the number. One receiver will fuller gets hurt again. The Andre Hopkins and the Shawn Watson completely useless. I'm not gonNA say Kirk. Cousins was useless but he was sixteen thirty one and for one hundred twenty two yards. One pick one touchdown. It's pretty close to useless. and Aaron Rodgers on the other side wasn't much better header twenty-six a forty. Okay that's solid. What does that thirteen out of? Twenty by five eighty eighty percent. That's not right. Thirteen out of twenty times five. Yeah sorry sixty five percent completion. I swear good at math sixty five percent. Completion percentage. Okay two hundred and sixteen yards. That's not that good five yards in attempt. Okay no touchdowns who. How did the packers win this game? One interception and really out of the packers win this game. Aaron Jones twenty-three carries two touchdowns. That's.

He's has a hard time staying up after work all night. He wants to bring back memories from back in the day. Right. He just wanted to say low. But I wanted to talk to you. I tell you what you do what you can do when we finished having our conversation. My producer Phil Jackson's gonna put you on hold. He's going to get your telephone number. And then we're going to make that connection with big country. I was not born in Philadelphia. I was born in New Orleans that was an army kids. So I grew up in Oakland. My father was stationed at the Oakland army base in Oakland, California. So I grew up in that area. And I remember watching the warriors will I came out. And I remember as a little kid guy. Rodgers at Alvin adult. Yes. When you said that all my guys, Alvin Atals, I gotta tell you a story. I lived the last time I lived in Oakland before I came down here to San Diego was in two thousand and twelve and I lived in a little town called San Leandro, which is right next to Oakland Alvin has out head L adults. Philadelphia cheese steaks. So member now I had lived in Philly from eighty six to eighty eight. So I fell in love with all the cheese steaks. Now, you say analysts had cheese steaks. What do you mean he had he was able to order them and get them? He had a shop and he used to import the Amoroso rolls. That's what you have to have. You have to have the bread. Yeah. But I remember going in there and just sitting in there talking to him he is one of the kindest gentleman. He has never met in my life. And let me just finish. It all by saying this Reicher, Al is the longest running person in the history of the NBA with one franchise. He was with the Philadelphia warriors who then became the San Francisco warriors the owner at out. There's name was Franklin mealy who was in line business. Yes, he adopted Al adults and Rick Barry as his two sons when Rick Barry left, the Golden State Warriors are the San Francisco warriors to go to the Oakland team to play in the ABA. Al Attas became his first, son. Al Adams has been able to get a paycheck. As a player, a coach and executive a radio broadcaster and a consultant or adviser, and he's still on the payroll at this late date and his life with the San Francisco, Golden State Warriors, Al Attas, you're absolutely right. And he has a son mail. Yes. I am very close to his family. His son now runs what's called, Al annals cheese steaks. No, I haven't been to the Oakland oracle arena since I moved down here. But he has one here's a concession at the warrior games called AL's cheese. I'm not surprised because that's how much Franken mularkey who owned the team thought of our as his son, and and made sure that he had a position and organization and then with the new owners that it now owned the team they've continued that relationship with Alex. But Reicher I wanna get some other callers involved. I thank you calling from San Diego one of the moment of beautiful areas of the United States. I'll tell you what I saw hang on hang on grab they're grabbing for me, Phil. And we'll do something with him a little later on in terms of the conversation. We're going to go to MAC. And along. We're gonna go to MAC and broom all bit morning. Good morning. Just such a pleasure to talk to you the way you you give him the styles and everything remember, I think the last time I spoke to you talked about fishing, and you gave me your number and I called the couple of times. But I never got back from you. I joined a familiar with Glen mills area Glen mills air. Yes. I'm familiar Glen mills as schooling Glenn Millstream there. It's on Cheney read it's called the newborn newborn smell. It's been around for years. Fishing ponds for kids. Lavish stream cabinets really cheap. I joined it. I joined a couple of years ago. They sent me a chiller going to have a stream cleanup the twenty third and get things ready. And then they're going on the opening day trout season. Which is the twenty nine this month. They're going to have a breakfast for the anglers in the in the log cabin. And then and then and then you better get to your subject because we only have about four minutes. Go ahead. Okay. Good. Maybe I got that day. But my son, maybe you, and I could get together together maybe another day after that. And then and then the other thing is the ramp decided not to go back and talk. I was kinda young the sixty six sixty seventeen with Wilt Chamberlain. Do just how Billy Cunningham Luke Jackson. I don't think there's ever been a basketball team like that in history against regarded as one of the great teams of all time. We'll play it on two of them. The Los Angeles Laker team at one thirty three in a row and won the championship. And then certainly a lot of the pundits who've been around consider that team with the players that you just spoke about how Greer Billy Cunningham Chuck Walker. Dave gambe, Billy milky Yoni. Mattie googlers. Those guys as as maybe the most dominant team of all time. Yeah. I I would agree. A lot of people when I used to be a member of the Springfield health blacks, where I know the sixty at one time practice a guy told me he can coach she doesn't think any any team nowadays could touch that team. Thank you. But I'm gonna try to get another caller. Thank you. All right. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Let's go to Andrew on sell. Good morning. Andrew. Born in Richardson, the first time caller you. I grew up in California. Okay. So I I'm fifty eight years old so back in the early seventies. I love the Lakers. And I love the I love the Sixers now, of course. But I love Wilt Chamberlain. And I wonder I've had a philosophy. I only think that the new generation is going to understand what how great will Chamberlain is. If they do some kind of movie on it has anybody ever approached you in helping to produce a movie like this. I've heard of individuals that want to do it. They would have to go through his legal people in order to be able to do it from that point of view. But even if you do it you have to understand this Wilt Chamberlain is a Paul Bunyan of all time. No matter what you say. And what you do people cannot identify with it because is greater than life and is greater than the sport. He played. He's the only athlete that has dominated his sport to the point that they asked him physically. Would you please tone it down simply because you are destroying the game. That's an actual fact. Well, also, he was a great athlete. He was a great volleyball player. He my father used to tell me that he thought he could beat the love Mohammed Ali in boxing had to. Well, that was a big situation on the southern show where he and Ali Cassius Clay at that point put our little skirmish wilt could've probably made some money out of it. But the Dipper didn't need money because he understood how to take what he had. He had great advisers. Great people the Richmond family was very much a big part of his life and an early stage took him under wing taught him about how to invest how to take care of his money. And that's why we're so independent. See we'll didn't retire from the NBA. He just stepped aside because he told the seventy Sixers who he had a handshake agreement with the late Ike Richmond that he had a small percentage of the team and the team didn't wanna live up to it. So he forced them to move him in another direct. So we actually. A retired. And then short from the lost Angeles, Lakers and Evine and said, I want you to come and play and where Wilkes house was built that land was given to him as a part of the deal and wilt from the day. He started playing the NBA and tell he left the NBA was always the highest paid player and the game. Well, I just hope in your lifetime in my lifetime that he will get his just do because I'm tired of hearing that about Jordan. And lebron. I it just doesn't make that they changed the roles because of Wilbur, that's correct. And as I said to you Andrew, and I want you to understand this. I've been with a long time. No matter what you say. And how you say it nobody can fathom that an individual could do what he did. Maybe the most astonishing thing he's he average forty six minutes a game lifetime. He's plays the day. They've played thirty five thirty six minutes. They played a lot of minutes. Anybody play forty. That's unbelievable. And he did that every game without a charter with out of five star hotel and never complained and just love to play the game of basketball. I gotta go buddy. I'm up against the clock. You thank you. Bye. Bye. Coming up next Glenn and Ray live from ShopRite. And as we go out, Dr.

"Yourselfer fantasy week twelve. We're coming to you live from the Quicken Loans studios. National mortgage lender. Quicken Loans apply simply understand fully mortgage confidently. Give us a call everybody. Five five two one two four two two seven eight five five two one two four two two seven board full right now. So if you can't get through a little bit of patients, and we'll get you on. I don't know about you. But you earlier in the year if I had to make a choice if flex Rb two or whatever between two players, and it was close, probably like, whatever. No big deal this week three. If I lose whatever. No big deal. I I'm stressing out about it. Now, there's a lot on the line. Heath playoff spots are at stake. Well, you know, if you had taken that same level of care and week two or three already has a playoff spot walked out. That's true. You are on a collision course. And I think two of our leaks. We have some strong teams that I expect to see you in the postseason, maybe even the championship. Yeah. I think are two quarterback league. And maybe our I well, I know you're a big p guy you always wanna fly in his league where we have ten or twelve defensive players. I been wild wild year, and what the fun part of these last couple of weeks is do we know anything yet because they've been multiple times throughout the year that we thought we'd do things the NFL risk completely. I mean, it's so funny that if you and I do fantasy baseball coverage as well. We would never think we know much after ten baseball games back. So Ted football games. You just never know was the I do know something I brought up in the last hour Sony. Michelle is going to outscore allies McGuire and PR even though he'd Cummings doesn't have it ranked that way why don't you tell us why you have Saudi Michelle solo. I'm a little bit concerned about too many bodies in New England. And I told you I think they may play a little closer to the vest and just get into the playoffs. But you look at it. This is really the first time all year that we've seen Sony Michelle James white. We had Josh Gordon, rob gronkowski all of them. Healthy the one guy. That's not is Tom Brady. Tom. Brady's is fine. He's not some sort of wizard magically able to recover from anything. He he he's just like you. Hi, Adam thank up. But all right, but that's good for Sony. Michelle. It might be it might be. I I I think Michelle define number two. You know, I did not talk about this kind of under the radar injury. I don't think it will impact a lot of people. But Markey's Goodwin is not expected to play at Tampa Bay. And the buccaneers have given up a touchdown to a wide receiver in every single game this year, it's a dream matchup for wide receivers. And it also made Nick Mullins look good before this Goodwin news as a potential stream where I was going to start them in a two quarterback league. But now I'm gonna sit him for Marcus mariota. Do you think Mullins can still have a good game? And do you think a wide receiver keeps the street going and scores at Tampa Bay? Yeah. I would bet on what the wide receiver scoring. I'm just not sure I'm ready to bet on which one of receivers going to score. Nick Mullins was not someone that I was starting because I believe in his talent. He was starting because I believe in the situation. I didn't get gonna put up a point. And they can't stop anyone. What really makes interesting is the because Dante Pettis Kendrick born both extremely cheap. And rightly so they haven't been very much at all. I would expect one of those two is going to hit this week. This is the one that has the more upside. And definitely the most talented. He's had a lot of trouble getting going the one thing we did see is this last week against the giants got six targets that part of that he has twelve head twelve yards. And then Lastly, I want to ask you about before we get to the phone calls at eight five five two one two four two two seven. You express some confidence we slow down give that number again. By the way. I don't think anybody can understand like micro machines on us eight five five two one two four two two seven remember micro machines heath oh one hundred percent. I don't think you were even talking that sound I was logging bad fast. Because I think the got Ryan and Kevin behind the glass, and they're like fourteen years old. They have no idea what I'm talking about. So right. You've known it with micro machines are right. I've never heard of that. So right now micro machines with these little tiny towing cars and the guy in the commercial. We talk with super super fast, and that's kind of what I just did their guarantee or if you look at micro machines on YouTube early fantastic commercials. Yeah. Yeah. Just give it a shot. You express some confidence in Tyler Boyd and. I don't know. I'm I'm sort of in between because he hasn't been very good without AJ green and really look at his yardage totals in the last seven games is that I think one game with seventy yards something like that. So what do you think? Yeah. And you look at the two games that he played without AJ. Green one of them was against Baltimore. But even those two games had three catches for sixty five yards. Four catches for seventy one yards and eleven targets in the most recent game. I don't think this Browns defense. It's not terrible. But I also don't think it's one you sit wide receivers against and so I'm expecting he's gonna get somewhere around seven or eight targets. And if you look at what he's done for most of this year. It probably means five catches seventy eighty yards and most receivers up that type of yardage total. We expect to have a piece of chocolate scoring a touchdown. That's good. That's what's going to determine whether Tyler boy, did they good or adapt being I feel pretty confident he's going to give you six to seven as a floor in non PR and probably ten is afforded. And he's got outside of over twenty. All right. That makes a lot of sense. Now, let's get to the calls. Eight five five two one two four two two seven errands in Nebraska, Aaron you're on ion fantasy football. Yeah. Full point PBR and third-place going against fourth-placed trying to hold onto third place. And I had Kamara that did not do so well, and I'm trying to find out of the running back between any from Seattle Rashard from Oakland and. James white New England. Ding, ding, ding, James, white man, right? He absolutely. He's the only one of those three is in the top twenty for me. I don't again, I I'm a little concerned about all the patriots just until we see how this offense is going to function. But I would I would definitely choose. Why? Let's find out where James Wyatt ranks among running backs NPR. What's what's your guests for the season for the season? Well, he ranks higher than I'm going to have ranked this week. I would guess he's around nine. There was a stretch there where he is getting a lot more work than we expect them to get now. Yeah. Doesn't about this week. I just want to you said ninth. Yeah. Wow. What does he win? Ladies and gentlemen. He's ninth. Nice work. Girly Kamera Barclay Zeke. Gordon? Connor hunt McCaffrey James white Bob in Maryland, you're on ion fantasy football what's up, Bob? Enjoy your show. Thanks for having me on. Thanks for calling man. I worried about Adam ceilings health and he's really injury report. Why I've had them all year. He put up great numbers. He's in sort of a flex election could have played Thomas. He was he was really disappointing this week. I'm I'm one of those guys you got a little burned by New Orleans this week. But would you play Aaron Jones over him or even think about it? I'm Mike think about it. If it was non PR and PR, I don't think you can even fitter could. It is standard. It's a standard league. Oh, it's really hard to sit in non p P R. I actually have Aaron Jones projected for more fantasy points in Adam feeling slow. Wow. Okay. Yeah. That's a tough one. I hope you can start them. Both Jay in our first call from Niagara Falls into Niagara Falls of you. I I've only been to New York once and that was not the of New York. It was really cool. Welcome J from my Agra falls. Welcome to the show. What's up? My call so pekair league. I need a running back and receiver. My earning backs are gosh, Adams and. My receivers are gonna be oh, so Mike volumes are sneaky. Well, are you looking for upside? Or are you looking for for really sneaking definitely give you four. I'd I'd better pretty pretty good about money that he's going to have somewhere between four and six catches and somewhere between forty and sixty yards. It's not exciting. I would smart start need over my Williams unless you're just in the desperation place where you're hoping guy catches a long touchdown. That's really all Mike Williams giving you just completely disappears from the game plan at certain points. Yeah. The other part was Josh Adams and Austin, and that's going to be just as simple as coming down to Melvin Gordon status tomorrow morning. If Melvin Gordon is not playing I would put Ecuador ahead of Josh Adams. But as of right now, it's clearly yeah. And Adams is at one o'clock at four. So hopefully, you know, I I don't really believe they're then gametime decisions anymore. It seems like we always almost always get a report beforehand in the morning. We seem to know what's going to happen. But if tomorrow morning, you go on Twitter and Rappaport says Melvin Gordon is a true game time decision. He's going to try it out beforehand. You gotta play out. Okay. Yeah. Fair enough. Al Adams over over. Yeah. Yeah. Allen in Baltimore. What's up Allen? You're on I on fantasy football. How's it going guys? Standard scoring league and joined here what you guys have to think about Marlin mask, the fun Dick's or Sony Michelle in the flex also just wanted to hear your thoughts on Cameron brace for you know, the rest of the season during the Howard injury. This is really going to test Adam because he has been the biggest Marlin MAC freezer at CBS. And he's also wanted to tell me how terrible rankings on your show. I would actually go with Marlin MAC in a non PR legal gigs. But I think very good gain against that dolphin defense for a break goes listen the Tampa Bay twenty two percent of their passes this year too tight ends. They throw the ball about forty times the game. You can do the math on that OJ Howard's out for the year rate has always been a security blanket for Janus Winston, I expect you to the top tight end from this point forward. Yeah. I think he's. V. And after the top four I mean, you can just pick so many guys, but you know, gronk Caspi up there. But it's calc- earth's gronk Kibble. And then it wouldn't surprise me at all freighters the next guy. Yeah. I think he's he's in that group. I'd probably put him towards the back of that group. But I I would prefer I think wriggle over him. I I probably still take Jack Doyle over and PR. But he's he's right in that group. It's got another call here before the break at eight five five two one two four two two seven from Simon. Also in Baltimore Simon. What's up your on fantasy football two questions?.

"Diet dot. Com. I ten forty three Joan evident the day called banks will join us at eleven I guess he's in San Francisco where is Santa Clara for tonight's giant night a game not exactly Montana against LT. But nevertheless, man, I'm thinking about everybody out there in California, then with the guy. Terrible. They were there even talking that. If these smoke was so bad they were going to have to move potentially name. I did see that looks like that's not going to happen. They're gonna play tonight. There was actually talk. I forgot to mention this to you last week when the talk about the field in Miami being so bad that they were going to move that game to the jet dolphin game. Really? But that never happened and ended up playing in wish I wish they did move was never played that. Well, we should never happen. But the giants will play the Niners tonight. We'll see if Nick Mullins can build off that great debut. He had and we'll talk more about that. As you mentioned Carl's gonna join us at eleven we'll go around the league at twelve. Brian Casella will join us. But right now Johnson, Staten Island, John. Hey, guys. How're you doing good? Look, we all know most likely end of the year Bowles has gone newish team comes in. But I want to talk about what you talked about a little bit before the break this roster when you get past Donald you get past Adams, the rookie tight end who I like. And maybe a new who, of course, he never played any way or it seems to be banged up more than he plays. Where are the guys in this roster? You say to yourself boy these guys have to be on the team next year. And that's the promise roster isn't as good as I thought it was going into the year. I thought we tweak in we add to it in the off season with all the money coming off. But you said it Evan. There's not a lot of great reagents. Not a lot of game breakers out their team is further away than I thought. So they bring in a new team nephew with a new staff and show. I think you said two years for Super Bowl to be macaque. I don't know the guy tell you right now. His team has got more if they had a real coaching here. Okay. I'm not saying they're a Super Bowl team playoff team. If they had a real coaching anita's team is not three and seven. I'm sorry. They are not three and seven. They should have beat the Cleveland Browns. They weren't ready for Baker Mayfield coming into the game. How is that possible? They should have won this game against Miami. Last week lead the snapper in the game to play the entire game. When a guy cannot snap out of shotgun. And you stay in the shotgun. I'm sorry. You can say whatever you want. I mean this team should be better than they are. And to me, this is all about the coach it comes down to the coach Sean on Long Island short. Hey, how's it going guys? Thanks for taking my call anytime. Yeah. It's just you know, until they until they the ownership stops running this team like a charity and starts, you know, trying to win. Now. We're just going to be looking at the same thing. They gotta get rid of bullets today. It has to be done this. Otherwise, you're telling the fans that you're celebrating complacency and you celebrating losing. I don't understand how this guy. You want after this Sean fire them at the end of the year. Anyway, what the hell's the difference? Because you you got to send a message to the fans now like all right? We understand. We'll get someone in here. Already at this point. It's got to be done now because I think it just sends a message to the fan. One thing Sean you hundred percent, you know, I want bowls out yesterday. I mean, but that doesn't mean that like two weeks from now, they might not fire. Let's that could happen to you may happen in the last two three weeks. I get the message to the fans would it send a message to the fan. Sure, it would add any uncertainty. If there actually is any that the guy's not coming back next year. But long term, it means nothing it doesn't. But I just can't look at this guy in the sidelines anymore, bro. I agree with that. Last caller said, you know, get throw me a bone. Okay. Because that just shows you that you don't care that you're going to lose the rest of the game, which it probably are anyway. But you don't care just go lose games issue who gives a damn, but we want to keep him because we got nobody else replace it. Look, I look I look at it this way if they fire Todd Bowles, and it makes you happy, and it makes our last caller, Sean happy. That's great to me. It does. I I understand. So I'm not going to be. No, no. No, no. I just it doesn't mean anything, Don. I don't. I don't disagree with you. But it will be showing me something that at least the Johnson brothers have a pulse soon. All right. Yeah. Robin Brooklyn, Robert, are you how you good morning guys morning. Joe beningo fifty four years you're gonna Jeff Van God bless you. Tell me I'm is sick. You know what man? Oh, I got a question. Assign rasheed? Matthew he played yesterday. A deck. Oh. He was out there. Robert, you just described his tenure as the as an era chat described. It didn't they sign Rashard us. He gets targeted one. You forget even exists taste of another guy is Carson stop playing. You don't wanna play no more. It looks. Which is really surprised very surprised by very high on bringing a guy like that. And you know, starting out of bounds play last weeks ago in Miami. You get that sense. But watching yesterday's game outside of really Jamal out of Avery. Will nobody wanted to play. It looks like nobody wanted to play Nathan and Florida Nathan. Guys. First of all Joe, I'm sixty five. And this is the same thing to the point said, I wanna raise warn about Jerry Lee leaves maybe two hundred twenty pounds soaking wet. He could long off the ball every single game. And the second guy. I wanna make a comment about is Adams. He always takes the wrong angle to the play. And even though he's like, he he he's a Orrock guy. He has to calm down and take the right angles. They get blown up on so many runny plays 'cause he's in the back style taking along. Well, yes. Less than it. As it looked like they cared about making tackles yesterday. I mean, let's be real. I mean, they look like they cared about. Here's a problem. There's a lotta guys you can pick. You can do that. I don't think Jamal Adams and Darren Lee or at the top of the now stri would agree. I think Lee has really and again it comes back to coaching. If what you're saying is true about Jamal Adams. Okay. Then that comes down to the coach. 'cause the guy's got talent. I mean, let's this Debbie twenty-five thirty teams in the league that would watch him, Al Adams. Let's be real. He's the best player. Now. There's no doubt about it. And he looks like he actually gives a damn right IRAs in Staten Island. What's up? I, you know, listen, we're talking to me because the bills are such a big team goes down. Maybe the worst embarrassing loss as a jet fan. And I've seen Troy. When we played the game when they move that guy because that's no doubt. You go on and on fifty sixty three game up in New England yet. Really, you know, they should have did bowls a favorite because he's a really good, man. They should have did it today. But it's unfortunate that will forward. The real problem here that I had yesterday is and if it's a reflection of their coaching these things put more, heart and soul. Auburn fans thousands of fans introduced to the players gave us yesterday after it was putrid and to see players dancing at twenty four. My skin I living when I saw players dancing twenty four nothing. I mean, giving me a break. That's how I felt about it to me. This is the number one in perishing Willis I've ever seen. Now. It's up there certainly in the conversation. I there's no doubt about it. I always say this. We have to give things time to let it sink in before we make declarations of best-ever worst conversation. I don't I don't think time is going to heal wound. Now, Stephen lynbrook, Steve, our you. Hey, guys. How're you doing today? Good steve. Oh, wonderful. I unfortunately had the privilege of going to that game yesterday. So I pretty much believe a halftime. Anyway, you know, I think it's like a broken record. You know, the coaching. You know, we know that the coaching isn't doing what they need to do. But if you look on the field like I'm at the game is today. The only guy you notice on the field tomorrow atoms. I don't think there's any other player on this team that you really like that jumps out to you and say, wow, this guy's towns. It's like, what do you guys think about that? Because you know, because see I disagree with that. I think the fact is they're not getting enough out of these guys a call made a point about Leonard Williams. Okay. He'll go somewhere else and be a Pro Bowl. Well, that's the case. Then that's all about the coaching. Right. I mean, my my nuts nuts. I just disagree. With the statement in that. I think the jets have I'm not saying these guys are as good as Jamal Adams. But I'll give you three guys outside of atoms that I certainly notice that I think have had good seasons. Number one is Marcus may when he's been out. He's been out there. He's been good. He's bigger number two our guy Avery Williamson. The only free agent signing. Mike maccagnan made I think Copeland is played. Well, so I'm not saying, they're pro bowlers. No. But I don't think I can say that the only guy worth a damn basically is Jamal Adams not saying that either Cameron in new pulse. Cameron. Hey, Joe and having loved the show. Thank you can a just wanted to talk about, you know, I think we're all in agreement that top needs to be gone. But I do believe that you need to stay for the rest of the season means a better draft pick. It doesn't really matter. I mean seriously when you look at their schedule who who the hell are they beaten? Yeah. I mean, let me let let's be real. I don't care who the coaches we have gotten to the point where and I know you, and I are going to sit there rooting against the jets, of course, not. But I am at the point where I owned the stand those who do I understand those who better draft pick get the better draft. Well because getting a better draft pick doesn't ensure you get the better player. But it gives you a better chance at getting the better player. Right. And the other thing that I like about drafting as high as possible, I always throw this in their jets. Don't need a quarterback. Right. Maybe they do. Now, we'll hopefully we don't, but they they not drafted. That's correct. So maybe there is a team who needs a quarterback who wants a quarterback who trades up. And you're you're able to get a big return. So picking as high as you can is a good thing that doesn't mean I'm going to sit there rooting for the patriots. But when they lose at least you get that. At least you get that. And the truth is whoever's coaching his team, Joe, whether it's Todd Bowles or it's called Weller. It's Bates they can lose like you said most of the gains. No question about it. It's not gonna make a difference. Call banks will join us next. We'll get his thoughts on the embarrassment from yesterday. Plus, we'll preview the giant forty Niner game tonight. We'll get into the rest of the league from yesterday coming up later on as well. And was one piece of good news. There's a very appealing coach that may be available. We'll discuss that after we talked to Carl beningo and Roberts here in the mid day..

"Title. You can't handle the truth. Tuesday on the west Wednesday on the east many. You're stuck somewhere in between. Welcome and beyond reality radio with me, Jason Hawes and the results JV Johnson. And also a big happy Halloween to everybody out there. Yeah. Hope everybody's got great Halloween plans that are not only fun, but also safe great time to have parties dress up in costumes, go out trick or treating. I'd say maybe if you're sixteen or under I can't condone adultery sixty and sixty nine hundred sixty fair enough. But I hope you have a have a great time. No, it's one of my favorite times of year. I've been watching great classic horror and some horror comedy, which seems to be kind of coming into its own and a lot of ways films on Turner classic movies today. They were showing a bunch of the Bowery boys movies that related to monsters and ghosts. And you know, if you remember slip Mahoney, and and Sach in those guys that Leo Gorski in hunts. All great stuff. Always always. Yes spokesman riled gug ghost chase to spook chasers. Scissors. Was originally called Ghostbusters not mistake. I think you're right in in was an inspiration a bid for the guys who made that film in nineteen Eighty-four, but they're all classics, and they're all fun to watch our guest tonight, Mr Lobo TV host actor cinema insomnia is program. It's also his website and our telephone number. If you want to join this conversation, eight four four six eight seven seven six six nine before the break, Mr Lobo. You said we need to do a convention together. An I wholeheartedly second third and fourth that motion. We have to make that happen. Some day. I think that would be great. I would I really enjoy. I feel like I know you guys do conventions, and I do a lot of conventions. I'm just surprised we haven't at some point been at the same convention. I hope we're not secretly the same. Really screw everything on the funny thing is we've probably been at the same conventions. Just never run across each other. That's. A lot of them get really out of control. And I, you know, unfortunately to go out and get too big like. Comecon in the nineties, and and it just like I can't even recognize it anymore. It's like the whole town is taken over just a wholly different thing. Well, that's like dragging gone. When I first started going to dragon con, they were was forty thousand people would show up and last time, I went there was one hundred and twenty Jim. It was just it was literally insane. But dragon con is one of those conventions that started out with a pretty unique focus, and it has turned in and listen, I'm all for the convention parties. I really enjoy that part of these conventions. But not when that's the only thing going on in dragon has become just a big drunk fest. In a lot of ways. Mr Lobo a teetotaler. So yeah, that's really a big no fun. For me. Let's let's talk about we've mentioned Ed Wood a couple of times already, and you can't have these conversations without bringing Edwin into the into the discussion, but the film itself Ed Wood by Tim Burton, starring Johnny Depp. And of course, Martin Landau was maybe one of the trailblazers when it comes to bio-pics related to bad filmmakers. There's been a few cents particularly one that came out recently called the disaster artist that is following the story of Tommy was so who made the film the room, which has also personally considered one of the worst. Is this a trend? We're seeing and is it is it Edward is a phenomenal film. But do we have other stories at interesting enough to tell I think there are interesting enough to tell and maybe I'm my bias is that I feel like it will be a gateway for people to maybe perhaps watch a bad movie or miss. Understood movie versus a big budget movie with a bunch of stars with a bunch of rich people pretending they're making a bad. You know, I I hopefully, hopefully, it would it will be a gateway for people. I'd love to see Ted v. Michael. I'd love to see a Ray. Dennis stickler, moving you know, these guys who made movies on really made movies for nothing. And did it their whole lives until they, you know, their last dying breath. They're trying to make some backyard. We'll be with you know, to hassle garbage cans and a sixteen millimeter camera. You know, I mean that's to me. There's something romantic about that. So I'm not I'm not shy. I'm not I I think those story should be told. And I, you know, I think independent filmmaking is something that should be celebrated. So I I don't think that there are I I wouldn't be upset if there were a bunch more films like that and bio pic, I think is a strong word for the Ed Wood. I think even though Ed Wood captures the spirit. Of what was happening with those people in that time. I it's more like a back to the future movies where the comedy with historic affects. It's a good point. And I liked that you mentioned Ray Dennis stickler in that list. Many might know him if any of you seen any of these films, but his his acting name was cash Flagg. I believe is right. Isn't that what he was? He was I think he was billed cash flag in the incredibly strange creatures who stopped living and became mixed up zombies, which is one of my all time favorite mystery science theater episodes, by the way, love the the rift. They did on that. We're going to go to the phones back, and it really does. They created a new generation of fans for all of these films. We're gonna go to our phone lines. Just minute. I wanna ask about Stephen King movies with the release of it recently, or there, I guess the guess another release of the movie it which was based on the Stephen King novel other than the shining, which I happen to think is one of the best do any score any of the Stephen King books into movies impress you are. Yeah. I think a lot of them. Do you know to be are like the movies a little more than a book? So I might not be the one one to ask on that. Because I feel like I Stephen King stuff. I enjoyed the most where short stories because I think his stuff is a little dance. But you know, I definitely enjoy Carey. I definitely enjoy even cats. I I really enjoy and we'll come back to pet cemetery. They've got the now too. Yeah. So there's there's there's a few, you know, and I have a source sore spot for maximum overdrive. Even though that's a very very misunderstood movie. I find myself watching that stupid movie. I think I'd rather watch kill dozer. You're gonna look at vehicles coming alive killed over the maximum overdrive. I did I immediately OS. Yeah. And. Do you think of the shooting script of maximum overdrive? It said toy truck with giant green goblin face or do you think that joker face, and he just couldn't get the right? I don't I don't know. But one of my favorite. I mean, they they killed off ACDC in that the bridge. But and actually Stephen King. They they just redid pet cemetery which will be coming out soon too. It's interesting nouveau kind of they're they're not really remakes. They're not really sequels. But then they're taking on the mantle of the name of the movie like a movie new just the spirit, but it's a different movie ammunition. It's a remake. But it's it's definitely there's no distinction in the title. And then there's the Halloween movie that just came out. It's halloween. Even though we already have two other movies called Halloween. We've got another one. That's just called Halloween. And then there's there's a pet cemetery which I think is also just called pet cemetery. Existing just spent the weekend with Barbara manual fee from the original superior at scare consulates political. Let's jump to the phone lines. We have Jeff from Rhode Island who wants to join our conversation. Hey, Jeff, welcome to the program. Hey, guys. How're you doing? Mr. logo, your show sounds great. I've never seen it. But I have heard you other talk shows, and I always have enjoyed I like the way you. Phrase things and explain things and as far as bio kicks. I always thought it would be interesting to have a movie about Al Adamson. Oh, yes. I agree. Here's mysterious. I know that's the thing. It's so ironic that that's the way that what happened to and. You know, life in Adamson, Al Adamson made a Dracula vs Frankenstein, and he made a quite a few kung FU movies to made a few with Jim Kelly, including one called black samurai. I think he may have worked on black belt Jones. I'm not sure if that's Al Adams, and also, but I met I met I met Jim Kelly at a convention, and I told him about how Adamson was buried underneath his bathroom by a contractor and in cement, and he said, well, you know, you gotta make some he started. He didn't know that. He didn't know the first of all he didn't know that Al Adamson was murdered second of all he will. He just right away. Assumed it was the mob because you gotta make bad deals to get money to make movies and said, no, no, no, he his wife was having an affair with the contractor, and they just murdered him. And and put him under the bathroom and just kept. Cashing his checks and the boyfriend was impersonating, Al Adamson. And it was this whole thing that was on the Discovery Channel. And he just couldn't believe what was happening for a second. There. I thought me and black belt Jones. We're gonna go solve mystery. Because he was he was ready to go kill the mob. Jeez. Oh my gosh. And this is the same way that was in his movies, the Las Vegas. I can't think of her name right now, the one that's in the versus Frankenstein and other. I think I think it was her. I'm not I'm not certain on that. But it was whatever his his whatever his what if he had the same life, or if it was a different life. I I don't I don't think it was the same woman from that. But anyway, the thing I don't know how long I have. But I my personally, I personally love old time disaster movies old school disaster movies. I was wondering in your show. Do you ever have episodes with with disaster films? Can you give us an example of that earthquake or anything like that? But we did one called. I think it's the the day the earth caught fire where the stone is getting closer to the earth. And and that was a lot of fun to take on all of those trucks. Oh, so you can only use public domain films that have it's not only raise public domain films. But basically. It's whatever we can get if we can get permission. We sometimes do, but it's usually movies. We can get cheaper free. And maybe the big studio the studios, whatever when they hear what you how you want to use it or what you wanna do that. They will let you. They don't want to give you the permission or charge to watch. Exactly. Yeah. They tend not to like anybody use their stuff without getting a good. Nice a nice check for it. Hey, Jeff, thanks to the phone call. We got to go to break now. So we'll we'll continue taking phone calls on the other side. And the phone number's eight four four six eight seven seven six nine again toll free eight four four six eight seven seven six nine give us a shout. "al adams" Discussed on NFL: Move the Sticks with Daniel Jeremiah
"Watch football make money. It's that simple alone. The shotgun. God takes us. Now. He throws right seat rentals. Seven down. For the second time today. All right here. Buck we look at that game. Yesterday was a phone to watch with with Rogers and golf that was a classic duel there at the calcium classic duel in the Coliseum to quarterbacks you want to put the ball in their hands. And even though offensively both teams got off to slow stores. A think in the second half we saw the greatness of both players. Aaron Rodgers always does what he does he can attack the defense when you give him open opportunities. And in Jerry golf continues to play like a guy that has just kinda growing into the role of being an elite quarterback. A love the way distributable us all the playmakers. But it also helps when he has guy like Todd Gurley behind him. Yeah. And it was interesting. Watching the tape this morning book because I thought that Mike Penn did a pretty good job. They sent a lot of pressure at them. They mixed up their looks there were times where they just rush three and dropped eight, but they got home. I think they got golf about five times in the game. So they generate a lot of pressure on him made things more difficult on him. But some things that you watch man, they they have a night. They have so many calm like rhythm throws where it's almost like a shooter. Like one thing about MC. As he does a nice job of getting Goff into a comfortable rhythm a lot of times. It's simply off a little play action to the right in that little throwback slant to the left buck curls right behind the linebacker. It's back foot in the ground rhythm throw. And it seemed like those types of throws UC golf start getting comfortable, and then he can start dealing. Yeah. They just do a great job of scripting and put him in his covers. He stressed here. Where I think he missed six or seven straight throws. But they found a way to get him back in rhythm and the beauty of the run game. In the way that the Rams play is they always have the luxury being able to Lino Todd Gurley when the quarterback is struggling a little bit his ability to make plays as a runner, but also as receiver really kinda steadies this offense a light what I'm seeing for the Rams. I do believe the Packers kind of exposed defense a little bit on the edges. We'll see if they can show it at up they need a key to lead to come back. But right now the Rams are hot. They're rolling. Yeah. No. It's it's gonna be interesting to see what happens with them. They're scheduled is next. They're they're in a four game stretch. And now they've got the first one there with the Packers. I believe they. Saints next for the Rams. So it it starts to get pretty interesting there in the meat of their schedule. We'll see how they do face off against some of these elite teams, but it will be fascinating to see in the NFC north going four with the Packers that division still wide open even the Packers. You could make a case have been playing under their ability level. The Viking stumble. We'll get to them a little bit later on but division still wide open with bears playing pretty good football. The lines and consistent. So we'll see what happens there. That's the next day wins gives it to not. Thirty four. A twenty one yard callup by George Adams down like, Jalen Renison. You know after struggling a little bit on offense led some late lead slip. The have rediscovered their running game. And they need to have running game to be able to salt away leaves when I look at the stats and he finished with one hundred thirty three rushing yards. Twenty eight rushing attempts you balance it out with Carson Wentz having thirty pass tips. They're almost at a fifty fifty ratio. That is a kind of stuff that they were doing last year when they finished with the third best running game. They will become the pound the ball with Jay aja Liguria blunt. Now, they don't have those kind of guys in their backfield. But Josh Al Adams has certainly good enough to give them a presence and windows. Small would even only eight cares. Twenty four yours just enough and you mix. Some Carson Wentz runs. It has been enough to kind of steadied it off. And it's kinda sneaky when you look at Carson Wentz what he's done this year book when you look at his numbers were seventy percent of his pass on seventy one seventy point seven thirteen touchdowns. He's protected the football in terms of intersex is only got two picks you on the year. It seems like we kind of almost we almost kind of forget they haven't been playing great. Haven't finished games haven't closed out some games. But I went back when you watch it. There's plays where he's got bodies hanging on him falling down to the right? And he's making throws across across the field of the left. He's he is outstanding. And as long as he's there, and they can keep him upright healthy if they can just get into the tournament. I wouldn't wanna see him is very similar to what the Atlanta Falcons had experienced a year ago they stumbled and kind of scuff their way into the postseason. But when they get into the postseason, they go on a road to beat the Rams, they really get affiliate. Eagles a game into the victory in for the Philadelphia Eagles. Yeah. The halfway point and your foreign four you in a nice position you go six and two down the stretch you sit in tennis six you end up getting a decent seat. A like with the Philadelphia Eagles doing Doug. Peterson was under a lot of heat for abandoning to run. The fact that he stay with it says a lot about him where he knows this office needs to go. A like we're Philadelphia's position even though they're still having to chase a Washington Redskins team. Just a little better than we thought. They got to pass rush heated up a little bit too in in. You know, look, I'm not we're not going to continue to be dead horse there on Blake Bortles. He just he's not. He is what he is. He's not good enough. Right. Let's get to the next. Takeaway seven out of ten on third down the hand off the Marla back into the end zone. Touchdown Mayerling four yard touchdown run. And it's now twenty eight twenty seven Marla MC over one hundred yards with that run hundred one yard today on the ground back toback game one hundred yards for Marla MAC, the first full running back to that since two thousand seven got the run game going and one thing, but we have not seen Andrew luck. At a chance to have this type of protection, I tweeted this out after breaking that down. He only got he got knocked out one time in that game. He was completely untouched on twenty four the thirty one pass temps and of those seven where he was touching me. You're talking about brushing. I mean that barely even touched him. The past protection was outstanding. They ran the ball there with Marlin MAC people said, oh, it was the raiders. I don't get carried away. No trust me. This colts line for so many years at the opponent didn't matter whoever they played was getting pressure. And this is now three or four weeks in a row now where they have kept him pretty. Clean. And when he's clean. We're reminded. Just how good Andrew luck is has off the Frank, right? What they've been able to do with his team Betty where they've been able to do with this offense. When I look at this team this team has been balanced run into football more than MAC has back to back one hundred yard games. But in the third game against the New York Jesse at twelve carries for eighty nine yours, and this is a team that is one three hundred last four games. And if you go back, and you think about the decision they made against Houston when they went forward. I mean argument you can talk about a team being on a four game streak or when it four out of five games. The big thing is invested in their office of line. Obviously took the high pick got Nelson inside to put gore. So that could be a little more physical. They've changed. The way this passing offense is the ball comes out quick lot of quick for them throws and they utilize to tidy. And so when you use a combination of running backs and tight ends. Andrew looked to be more efficient. You're right. They are heading in the right direction. I'm not saying they get in the playoffs. But I think you can see the arrow pointing up for the Indianapolis Colts. And they got some speed on defense. So it's exciting to see Gladys the Andrew look back out there doing his thing. All right. What's next take way Robinson to the outside? The hunt stuffed up Sammy Watkins ten. Zone. Touchdown. Jan. Sandy Watkins taste the sweet nectar the end zone. Sweet nectar like it sweet nectar of the zone. How about this? I mean, I know there are a lot of people. So have I mean, there are a lot of you were happy. There are a lot of people were laughing and snickering with Sammy Watkins guy paid guess exceeding. Oh my God. How could you pay them? But look Andy Reid was trying to recreate the offense that had filled up. You're probably when you were there when he had to Sean Jackson, Jeremy Mackin and all those guys he likes to have a lot of weapons available for the quarterback. And we can talk about Pat Mahomes. Pat, Mahomes is right now the runaway favourite to win the MVP. But a lot of it is about how this team has been built to allow the quarterback to succeed. They got playmakers on the outside Taibbi didn't have a big east. Seventy yours. Travis kills he worked in the middle of feel but this day was Sammy Watkins day. And when you think about this team, and how you gonna stop them. I don't know because they're like a video game office. They have everything that you could want. Sammy Watkins is going to be an expert for the chiefs as they'd get demonstra. Look at it. We had a big Rato Sammy Watkins. He was my second rated player. But I haven't seen the same guy at Clemson. You saw today. So today's the day would be a perfect day for you to tweet out over port. Au should do that. Today. Nobody needs to know that. Know that people don't pay attention buck with that kind of stuff. Oh, you should do it. All right. We got some other business to take care of here. But also continue to be a fact as a runner with north Turner calling the office. But that's what Norv Turner is done. His made a memorial fish it more effective playmaker. Get on your computer homework, look up, and you have just do quarterbacks because sometimes they put other stats and that are goofy with the players quarterback rating who's leading the NFL in QB rating right now, I think oh, it has to be it has to be it has to be Fitzpatrick because he was leading coming into the week even though
