A recap of Week 16 of the NFL season
"NFL week 16 roundup. I'm Dave ferry. The Buccaneers remain atop the NFC south after scoring the last 13 points in a 1916 overtime win at Arizona. Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles. I think it was a total effort in the second half, especially the fourth quarter. Defense getting stopped and the offense cashing in timely plays seemed like we play better in the fourth quarter if we can transfer that to the other three, you know, it would be pretty consistent, but it was a hard fork when we needed it. We got it. No matter how pretty it looked or it didn't look pretty. Ryan suck up entered it by hitting a 40 yard field goal and tied it on a 42 yard kick with two 27 left in regulation. The rally began after the Cardinals took a 16 6th lead on James Connors 22 yard scoring run with ten 47 remaining in regulation. Tom Brady threw for 281 yards, one TD and two interceptions. I would play better there in the fourth quarter. We executed pretty well. Hit a bunch of Brooks and tackles, you know, ran hard, a lot of guys made plays in the past games and contested catches. Got to hear as soon as they caught it and came up with it. So defense really stepped up. This was a great way to down ten in the fourth quarter on the road. It's great to find a way to win. Trace mcsorley had 217 passing yards and his first NFL start, but the Cardinals fell to four and 11. The packers playoff hopes are very much alive after they intercepted to a tongue of violet on three consecutive possessions, securing a 26 20 win at Miami. The first pick set up mason Crosby's tie breaking field goal early in the fourth quarter. Tongue of valoa was intercepted with 6 minutes left. And again, around the two minute warning. It was just terrible how everything ended. And like I told the guys, that's on me and I'll definitely get better from that. Aaron Rodgers threw for 238 yards and a touchdown as Green Bay improved to 7 or 8. A half came out of a playoff spot with two games remaining. Considering where we were a few weeks ago, a lot has happened in our favor. All the games that need to go a certain way win a certain way. Now there's obviously much much left. But again, we're going to be we played meaningful games in December. We want all three of those. Now we're playing meaningful games in January. We got to win those. The 8 and 7 dolphins led 20 to ten before losing their fourth in a row. Jaylen waddle and tyreek hill each had over 100 yards receiving. The defending Super Bowl champs finally enjoyed a blowout win. Mark Myers was there. Cam Akers ran for three touchdowns part of the rams 51 to 14 Christmas Day win against the Broncos. I mean, it's a big deal, you know, obviously I helped to contribute to a win today, so that's pretty much the biggest. The biggest highlight of it for me, you know, Christmas Day, we gotta win. Baker Mayfield through two touchdown passes to Tyler higbee and Kobe Durant had an 85 yard pick 6. Denver's Russell Wilson threw one touchdown three interceptions and was sacked 6 times. It was the 5th time Wilson has thrown three interceptions. They're more in a game. Twice against the rams. We feel like we can be better. We feel like we're more capable of being better or feel like we've had some good moments and all that. But nobody wants to put out what we put out today. That was terrible. The Chargers will face the colts on Monday night. Los Angeles will clench an AFC playoff birth with a win. Next week, the bills can clinch the number one seed in the AFC with a victory over the Bengals and a loss by the chiefs against the Broncos. Should the Bengals beat the bills and their ravens fall to Pittsburgh, Cincinnati wins the AFC north. The Jaguars are in control of the AFC south and take on the Texans in Houston. Jacksonville could lose that game and still capture the division by beating the Titans in week 18. The eagles will take the number one seat in the NFC by winning one of their last two games or having the Vikings split their last two games. A victory over the cults will put the Giants in the NFC playoffs. I'm Dave ferry, AP sports.

"Sure. I actually have never put a piece of tape over my lens I've been to a lot of Zoom meetings, and of course, if I just want to be in a Zoom meeting without being seen, there's usually some kind of way to turn off the video. Yes. But I'm not someone who thinks that hackers can use my camera when I don't know about it. Maybe they can. They can. That's why my camera that I use has a little flap on it that ice. You can put down or put up because you never know. I've often been sitting at home talking with the wife and Alexa will pop up and say something to me and I'm going, oh my God. They're listening everywhere. Okay, so acres gaming, IGT, tracking video poker player skill. It may be more than those two, but with the newer, there's an operating system, not an operating system, but a standard in all slot machines called SaaS. SaaS stands for slot accounting system. And it regulates the protocols of what information is slot machine puts out. And in the newer versions of this, the current version is 6 dot X but since about 5.5, machines have put out the ability to see how the games are played. So the systems are someone chooses to collect that data can see how you played your video poker game. No one's done much with that information in the past. But now IGT and acres with their new foundation system, both have an option where they can rate player skill level on a game by the outcomes they use. For operators who are trying to figure out how to reward players, this is a dream come true. For your listeners, this is a nightmare. And so because essentially, I would think that most marketers and if I was still active, I would do this, bob. I fessed up to you. I probably wouldn't give you many points for your accumulated play. And I would give my friends who are not very good video poker players a lot more. That makes sense from their perspective. And so they probably gonna love this. Doesn't make much sense for advantage players. Now, the question is, who will use this? There's a lot of good technology out there that people don't use or bad technology that people don't use. I don't know how well this will be adopted. Whether people with lots of video poker play will use it, they might not, because they'll lose a lot of their players, or whether this will be adopted widely. But it is being advertised out there and offered two players who for years have been asking for it. Be interesting to see if they use it. Yeah, I think the casinos are now being flooded with all kinds of data that they just don't know how to use. And they don't want to hire data scientists. I wrote an interesting article right now at this show. One of the phenomenons is people specializing in artificial intelligence or business intelligence. There were about 7 or 8 vendors doing this two years ago, there was one. Year before that, there was none. And they all say just what you did. There's so much data out there. Most people can't understand it. And they need these systems to do it. John Akers, whose a brilliant innovator in our industry said, I'm actually going to collect more data, which is like player skill level for those operators who want to use it to do things like, and this is good..

"It pays for itself especially if you like to gamble. So tell me about adam trautmann. In what in dave's gonna join you in the excitement for adam trautmann What are you excited about. Mostly excited about the fact that he he could be on the field ally for a tight end. I'm because of the. The vacated slot targets here in new orleans if he ends up playing the role of kind of envision Which i think is realistic. They like to use two tight ends quite bit online out the slot wide receiver than he couldn't have a seventy plus percents That's pretty exciting for somebody who's in an offense targets so between emmanuel sanders cooked. The saints lost sixty four of one hundred fifteen slot targets and they might trick on smith The full time slot receiver. I'm curious if you guys are expecting a really really struggled last year in that role. I think he's gonna be there number two receiver to begin camp. And i think that's the only guarantee that we can say about trae quad smith. Yeah i think it's more likely that they'll move trauma in there. I mean he's a third round pick Who didn't show a live as rookie. But like you. Someone they clearly believe in and he put up great numbers in college. And i think the signing of knickknack kind points towards the likelihood is well that could be their primary slot target I think the net has been us. You know much more as a blocker than a rat runner and is president. Should allow tremendous widened. Slalom more like we saw. What jared cook and just cook you started on. Twenty percent was from the slot up from fourteen percent on all of the routes in his yards per hour almost doubled. It was up seventy six percent on the slot compared to other route. So if he drowned in that role I think that is exciting for somebody who does have some time as a pass. Catcher is on a team that needs somebody to step up as a playmaker. So i isn't that somebody Reaching for super heavily. But i think he is someone to keep in. Mind your real item. Dave how high do you have in your. He's top twelve title making some curious. Yeah health ways top twelve. I'm ready to take him and begin the season with him as my starter. Even though he's got a really tough scheduled to begin the season he's got green bay and week one for example and definitely doesn't have the experience that you'd like to see but he's he's got a huge opportunity and he's a huge player..

"Before jerry judy. Devante smith and tyler boyd. Based on what he did last year just file because he had so many catches. But you know this is a guy. This is what he does the first five games of the year. He was the sixth best wide receiver. Npr leaks the last eleven games of the year. He had six hundred yards in two touchdowns so on targets too but he was tenth in targets per game last year. Eight and a half per game to be tencent targets per game and to finish as wide receiver. Twenty eight i think. Cpr forty-one and non pr are maybe our dozen. Yeah this is definitely kept by the islands of environment there for sure intern two touchdowns but i think if he slide past like wide receiver. Thirty two or some anti-israeli good value. He's not somebody might go on my way to get. What would you guys take. Devante smith tyler boyd. Robbie anderson boyd for sure. I haven't twenty nine thirty thirty one really. Wow so i have innocent. I but it's really close yet. I think you can kiss for any of them. I really liked dismiss. Yeah i liked. Smith allowed to. I just can't put them ahead of robbie just yet. I think rob a little safer. "Darryl is had no goal to go carries in twenty twenty. His last goal line carey was in twenty one thousand nine. That's in the regular season. He might have had one in the playoffs. So i've any in the regular season bringing it out and also jacob. I'm not sure if you mentioned this but you noted in an e mail that patrick mahomes hasn't really thrown to his running backs that much he did. Though in spurts with damian williams down the stretch and twenty eighteen and twenty nineteen but yeah that was worth noting to but where. Where are you guys comfortable taking clyde average there he is going fourteenth overall running back twentieth. Nineteen twentieth over all off the board after antonio gibbs in basically same. Adp as joe mixon sabbarra document rv. Fifteen Just ahead of dobbins chris carson But yeah i mean. There are legitimate concerns here with his passenger involvement. Main thing for me. I think like you noted we. We didn't see enough. Said he's not gonna have the goal line role. I think a different kid. And i don't put a ton of stock into like success ongoing russia's especially on such small sample size is kinda random i think but the passing down involvement. I'm very very worried about Because we just haven't seen anything that's going to indicate that will change shits dislike speculation that it will because he's the second player to jacobs point. The offensive line wasn't exactly great lashing. It should be this year. yes it should. And so that might make the coaching staff. More confident in handing off to our to layer in those golden go situations inside the three and that would help stats schedules. A little rough to be in the starting off against glenn. Baltimore the chargers on up. That's that dangerous of defense philadelphia after that. I think they're gonna have a good run defense hitting buffalo's defense can be pretty good washington after that. It's not an easy schedule for edwards. Allaire i'm comfortable taking him toward the very end of around two okay. Let's talk about robbie. Anderson reunited with sam darnold and it feels so nuts. I don't know who sings that song jacob. "Sign up toggle down to the sports category. And we've got the link at the top of the episode description is awesome if we could win it so help us make it happen. You wanted to talk about clyde edwards. Either in the passing game and you're skeptical about his role there right right. Yeah i don't know if these stats are going to dazzle anyone. They might depress. Honestly do me as a chief's fan do the more i dig through the data from clydes rookie season. I just kept noticing myself. Shaking my head. It's just like the way the chiefs using sodas of owning given all the hype around him when he came in as a first round. Pick in how you know. The way mahomes in talked about envisioning them as adding new element of passing game. He just didn't blade they on passing downs. And it doesn't make sense to me really given all the data points to we have up. Jeff f. daryl williams graded as a worst pass blocker and then c. h. was clearly more efficient receiver. But they just didn't play him on passing downs like Unlike some rookies where the roles kind of expand throughout the year. I thought maybe that was what happened with. With clyde like you didn't have preseason. It's other reasons why he was of ease into it but it wasn't actually got worse as the year went on snag addressed out of getting the show that he didn't even play single third down until finally games of the season. It was the same thing in the newly blatant new sorry plate. Nineteen percent of dancing plane into minute. Offensive missing the super bowl. He didn't play a single. They're down and i don't know it's just it's gonna be really hard for him to return what people are expecting last year for sure even this year does. Adp if he's not if he's an early down only guy guessing that's gonna change in the second year. the question could enough obviously. We're all rooting for it to change. We remember how he was such a great pass catching running back at lsu and obviously there is something that went down. And maybe who's the truncated training camp. Who knows what it was..

"Not to be confused with terry or or hawse now the other player that i think might make some sense for the rams. That's free agent. This is just me spitballing. Do not add a levy on bell. Just because. I'm mentioning him but twenty nine years old experience running in zone scheme offenses Definitely has experience playing three downs. Maybe they give him a call. I think he's probably the best free agent out there. That could be the plan. B the darrell. Henderson's plan a everyone else. That's free agency you as as a complete type of running back you know you're talking about passing. Downs guys like duke. John senator dan lewis. You're talking about early down guys. "Do you have him. Rank and i just i just want to bring up one thing dave because the way i saw it was it wasn't i can makers got healthy. And then they just said goodbye. Daryl henderson the way. I remember it was that henderson got hurt. And the dolphins game and he looking at the first half stats. Now he had eight carries. And i was looking at the game live. I mean. He was dominating carries this was in the midst of his run as the starter. Malcolm brown had five carries camakers three carries in the first half of that game. I think he got hurt. There as i recall and then they had a bye week and he didn't miss any time but after the bye camakers started to get him going so i don't know if he lost his job because eggers got back or because he got hurt and i also think he played her. Maybe we don't even know how much you played her. He's he was always this week one with an injury so we played week one. He just didn't play much. Okay barely malcolm brown. Had a ton of work in week one shirted. Maybe was a camakers in this week. One with an injury no acres. Was there too okay. Three carries for darryl henderson. But i think he had an ankle or something but we ended the season with a high ankle. Sprain missed the playoffs. Health is an issue there so running backs that you have ranked around henderson. So i've got them at twenty three in my ppo rankings to me. There's a separation between montgomery sanders and chris carson from this next group of running backs miles. Gaskin mike davis josh jacobs daryl henderson and i still have e. t. n. At twenty four. I don't know how long i'm going to stick with that and bp are all right. Jacob let me get your thoughts and when you would draft him in which running backs you think would be in the same range as darryl henderson. Yes sounds like. I'm a little bit higher on him than dave. I think when i ran projections if you like is a starter for the whole year. He came at thirteen which seems to high draft in the i. I have my rb twenty right now. But i didn't agree with what they've saying. I'm don't know if. I trust the rule fully given how they handle in last year but bigger he didn't play on passing downs in third downs. Dave mentioned was because now can brown. And i don't know if that is reflection of henderson. Senior brown more. I think they really trusted brown on those passing downs because they still were given those reps. Even when kim acres was of taken over at the end of the year so i think within gone..

"Are spy a couple more questions to wrap things up here your thoughts here. Do you think awesome mettler. We'll take a step forward. Is this offense matures or do you think is touch. Upside is limited now. I think i don't think his touch upside is limited. I think austin he came back from a really nasty hamstring injury last year and played well and so if there was any injury concern that behind it. I think that austin has i'm incredible opportunity especially as pass catcher. I feel the same way. He might be not the best. I don't know he's right there in the mix right and he and christian mccaffrey and a couple of others are amongst the top pass catching running back in the. Nfl wouldn't ten games last year. Average less than twelve russians russia's per game average over five catches brigades morning arrives at the floor is so significant for austin I understand it's a new offense. I understand new offensive system. But if you look at the investment in the backfield this year this off season who was the chargers added. Makes you think to yourself okay. This is a problem right. I think joshua kelly may have a role but we saw what happened when he was the backup guy. Lash wasn't a ton of upside there for josh kelley. I really believe there's a chance that push comes to shove austin hecklers volume goes up in not levels off or even goes down. i brought. Ooh here's a good. One comes from jim to wrap things up. How do you decide when to take travis. Celts over a high end running back. What is your general draft plan. If you end up with celts in the first this winter all i can take it. It's i feel like i've made. I feel like we kinda send this. So you know might my general thought. Is that five running backs for sure. Go one through five. This is assuming standard scoring a rule of thumb. Is that if we don't bring up the scoring formality just assume it's standard scoring like if i'm talking about a tight end premium leaguer. A half non. Pbr scoring two quarterback league. I'll make sure. I noted that being said I think travis kelsey belong somewhere in picks seven attempts to find you after running backs. The i five that we talked about earlier. Plus saquon barkley for me maybe not for you and that anything from there is fair game and you know there could come a year trappist kelsey. Who's in his early thirties levels off and looks more like a tight end. Who's in his early thirties. Looks like i don't think that's this year. And because of the difference making edge that he provides his position. It's not just that you're getting a weekly starter. That is so so good had double digit fantasy points in every game that he played last year. It's that you're also getting tight end. Who almost every week. If you were just look at the position is probably absent. When he plays the raiders on the chief by the raiders. Getting you somewhere between six to maybe even like twelve fourteen fifteen point edge at the position and then speaking of everything's generally my general draft plan. If i get kelsen the first is probably running back in the second round. that's again we talked about earlier. How we like to have that feeling of comfort with one running back early if the board has thinned out and there's a stefan digs or devante atoms with aaron rodgers available for me. I'll consider it but again thinking speaking. Generally if i take travis kelsey. I'm thinking running back right after that. Exactly where your draft position matters. Because if i'm late in a ten team league or twelve team leave. And he's there. And i decided i want to get him in the like. Let's say you're the the final third of your draft pick orders than. I might take him and i get a running back because you know you're gonna to get looped back pretty quickly so you're going to have a good idea which running backs are going to be available. No doubt about that. it's all we have for. Today's find your wonderful job. We'll talk to you most likely next week and we'll talk to the podcast universe. Most likely a week. "Your bench bench. I'm really glad you said that. Because i had that. That makes the difference right so on my bench ceiling that ceiling you on my bench ceiling on my roster generally speaking ceiling as well right because again like fantasy football. You're not you're not rewarded for fifth place writing your league so i do think there's something to be said for almost always chasing upside. There might be some balance there though right stefania. So let's say for example you chase the upside of darryl henderson now that we have the camakers news tours achilles maybe on your bench you find somebody that doesn't and i'm trying to think of a perfect name doesn't represent quite as much upside but might give you a reasonable floor. But i'm just making this step off Maybe two miles gaskin as an example right as somebody that may not necessarily gonna. He made the top ten upside. But you think if he gets his touches he'll be a top twenty five back without thinking too much about it so that might be an example of a situation where you chase upside early and then balance it out with floor later before we have a couple more questions fantasy focus. "Really quick would see if we can get through for five. You mentioned earlier And soldiers will reiterate. This comes from joey. Are you back on the. Eh now that the adp is reasonable. Which is currently thirtieth overall. Yes and i think it's too early to abandon someone after rookie season where it was i. I'm not sure what happened in terms of how they decided to utilize their running backs but clearly When client ric flair struggled at the goal line felt like that was significant changes in terms of utilization and he's another year into his career. Now i thought it was interesting. This adam teicher report that That both mahomes and edwards lehrer suggested they should throw more passes to their running backs this year. So you know if anyone can deliver the ball where it needs to be. Make it easier on a running back. I think that guy. Patrick mahomes i do i think like i said i think he'd has gone too far. I think he's clearly the top of their depth chart. I think he is the guy and i think there's reasonable there. I know that he had a couple of game deserted. Saturated some of the rushing total but in borderline worst case scenario which i feel like in some ways last year was for c. h. Yet eight or eight hundred and three rushing yards thirty six catches five total touchdowns in thirteen games. Played in one of those hurt. So i do think there's reason to be more optimistic. I agree with you there. Here's a philosophical question. both do prefer ceiling or floor players on your bench. Does that change with a number of teams in your league. "Too big when they zag and maybe try to get in the early right. Maybe you're saying your spring league is saying well you know i'm i'm going to like let someone else drafts to fund digs because i can get whoever it. Is robert woods. That i can get mike evans. Later on you end up getting stefan digs is like the fifteenth player on the board. Should you be hunting value wide receiver early because of everybody's patients always hunting by. I think that's good. Draft strategy feel like a broken record but it is a bit of watching the board and seeing how things are playing out. And that's exactly the time that i would go for a top receiver like that. If you see that. I'm not gonna i'm not gonna be the person who drives wide receiver in the first round. Most likely you know. I'll never say never but that's most likely not going to be made but if i see that all everyone's waiting because they've heard there's such value wide receiver. Wait i'm gonna wait and they're going all these different directions. Why wouldn't i take advantage of that. And try and get myself one of the top wide receivers even if that meant that. I'm leaving the position alone for the next three. Or four rounds. I think that's fair. I just think that because of the depth of wide receivers though you're right like we always be hunting value like in general fantasy football because of the depth of wide receivers divining. I found myself. I'm just doing this dynasty startup league right now with ten other people in the football industry. And like i snagged. I wanna say davante adams something. Like thirty first overall thirtieth overall but there are plenty of reasons to quarterback lead. He went later than But i'm just. I'm i'm in the eleventh round right now and i'm like wow like that guy could certainly certainly be a guy that i count on and rely upon going forward Last thought from mike's playable get one more time go find it on. Espn plus tight end. Extremely top heavy but trending up. We knows to find you that you've got a clear top. Three this year tempers kelsey jordan. Kelsey george kill and travis kelce bowie. Trump's celtics wrong. Have you seen this or not. No wait with. I have and he goes. Yes so corrected me he right. And as a matter of fact like when they do their football introductions like they don't say travis kelsey cincinnati or tracing kelsey cincinnati. I think this might be one where maybe like other. When they were born orbits a couple of generations ago. It was Kelce but now they go by kelsey so we can. I mean at this point. What is the preferred by them. Because i like to respect how people prefer their names to be the sense. I got was that maybe you know i think if you say kelce it's like a sign that you're paying attention but they're not gonna take offense to kelsey. We've come far right like clearly. They're not offended by it They don't seem to be bothered by much. We love both the kelsey brothers. So my guess is that this could be kind of like when alvin kamara was asked. Just come on isn't it. i don't really care. Yeah i think tyrod has a preference right like it's tyrod taylor. It's not tyrod. Toronto chimera slash kamara kelsey slash qealth. Celts are appropriate. I think we're seeing a little more value though in titans your by. I do feel like we've got players that could be useful this season. I'm not saying that their guys and i'm putting draft premiums on but again if you out on those top three. I think the skier there players. I feel more comfortable with than i would have. Drafting is like the tenth or eleventh tight than i did in previous years. Do great i do. I think i'm really curious about some particular ones. Like i agreed the top three you now. There's really no debate about that There's a lot of chatter. Kyle pits some people. Think he's being overdrafted drafted too early because we he's rookie. We've never seen this. But i mean this. I think the opportunity is there for him so i still love And he is you know. And i i think he will end up top five tight end without a doubt curiously. Think about a couple of names. No fans who i think is extremely talented at. But there's big quarterback question there and the offense goes as quarterback coast and teach hopkinson. Who people are in love with this year but a might have we forgotten. The jared goff is quarterback there now. And i just don't have much confidence in it. I think his daniels not here today. Citizen have to hear this. But i don't have confidence in the detroit offense at all confused about the running back situation. I think jamal williams is going to have more than people are giving credit for. I don't know Tj hopkinson makes sense as a regular target but is that going to be executed. So those are two. I really wonder about is helped me out. Yeah i've i've got fans Ranked ninth and i've got hockey. Rinks six which. I don't want to be the person that's like taking the easy way out on these things to release to find you but i do believe that my tight end six through maybe even sixteen which that would be to jay hawkins and all the way down to austin hooper are not exactly perfectly interchangeable but in some ways they could be right like let me read some of the names that are in that mix. And i'm telling you. I could see a world where they finished as the sixth best tight end. Jay hawkins in dallas gutter logan thomas mike ezekie johnny smith hunter henry. Heck you can have two patriots tight. End finishes top ten. I know that's incredibly unlikely. Based off history. It's also incredibly infrequently where a team has two of the four highest paid tight end in football right so they clearly wanna make that a big part of their offense. There are a lot of guys that i could see having top six potential at the same time at the same time. I could see all the guys that i mentioned. Finishing outside the top ten maybe hopkinson like fantasy football specifically a tight. End the very very fickle spot arts again. Go find peace. Mike has all kinds of great. Of course michael be a part of our podcast several times throughout the.

"And they're definitely hurts his opportunity But i know i again depends my draft position But if i find in that first half of the round. I certainly want one of those top running backs. I'm there to find you. And i know that there are people who are subscribers. Toothy zero rv theory and a kyle jordan on twitter noted that i keep hearing about the strategy. I'm not sure i buy it. What you guys say and some are wondering. What is this your running back strategy and miss no are right. You're drafting and team with running backs right. Basically the idea behind by zero running backs that you're waiting until a much later round then you normally see people draft running back. Sometimes it's round six sometimes. It's even around five but the idea is that you can leverage Your the fact that others are drafting running back early to potentially and this would have to be perfect scenario but like you could hypothetically. Let's imagine aaron rodgers playing for the packers for second walkaway from the first three rounds of year. Draft stephania with devante. Atoms are call even calls devan digs if there's uncertainty surrounding aaron rodgers travis kelsey and patrick mahomes for the first three rounds. Now that's gonna include you then drafting a running back. Who's will little less certain. But you might have such a dramatic or potentially dramatic weekly edge especially a tight end a quarterback that you could offset some of your running back woes. You know him. My thought senator this i and maybe this is wrong strategy. But i've always felt like going into the season. You and i am act. Everybody in the podcast plays it a lot of leagues. You're not gonna win the malls. Matter-of-fact might not win. You might win one or two and a year and feel great about itar. Heard you know you play attend team legal tent. You have a ten percent chance of winning. But i always liked to increase my floor right and i've always felt like having some running-backs feel about going into the season always increases my floor. I just felt like. I feel like there's more volatility and the potential for a dud roster if i go in with the euro running back strategy doesn't mean totally bypass it but that's why i tend to not rely upon it. What are your thoughts. Have you know. I was never a fan of bat. Wait on on running backs. Even though. I'm the same person who says running backs most vulnerable position you. Can you invest in a top tier. Running back gives you expect them to touch the ball especially in pr lakes with so many pass catching running backs. Now that that combo. And last year i have to take from berkeley in a bunch of leagues. And how did the what happened to me. So at just if i had avoided him i would ended up with a perhaps similar roster. Let's said invested somewhere else drafted running back later. Might have worked out even better given that i lost my number one running back but that's always going to be the potential to happen for any player on the field and i think there are so few running backs who clearly have this dominant role within their running back grouping on a team you know how many teams have such a disparity between the top running back and the next guy chris. Mccaffrey is going to have next to no competition for the amount of volume of work that he's going to do in carolina If saquon totally healthy i would say the same. Zeke is going to have the lion's share of the work where he is and that's what you're looking for and while you can potentially piece together running backs they can do very well for you. I think you lose out if you're not able to get one of those now if i'm in the back half of my draft and those those top ones around i'm having to pick Between some of these running backs where the workload might be split like you said nick. Tub kareem hunt doesn't feel like a totally fair split because as you said i agree. It's nick cheb until sometimes kareem hunt. It's not really like a fifty fifty split. But then then i might start shifting my strategy and i do think there's some value to be had again when the the the heat or the pushback goes too far clyde resellers that example drafted early last year. One case by me grafted too early based on the prospect and everything looked good week one because we saw on the field a ton but then that really shifted at. I don't think that now he he's his value is such in-draughts that you can get him in. I think the fifth or sixth or even later rounds in some drafts. I've seen and he still gonna be their top running back. I believe maybe it's going to be better balanced for him in that offense this year so I am not a zero. I don't go in with that strategy. Zero running back. But i can't say that i wouldn't i wouldn't end up taking someone later if everyone in my first round draft running back early and i was stuck at the back end also worth noting define it like if you play in nine or ten leagues. Like you probably will have a couple of instances or at least one where you go for zero rb strategy but if you play in just one league and we're always mindful the fact that some people listen to the show just playing one maybe two leagues and they don't wanna have a season net explodes before their own is within the first month. So that's why i would say less frequently. Am i suggesting the zero rb strategy. Just one more real quick on the renting. Max you know we were talking about no here league and knowing the structure of it knowing the scoring and going back to us doing this super flex league where the value for quarterbacks with different than and so we were all reaching they're so it's twelve twelve teams in the league and i actually got austin neckers my first running back in the third round. I wanna say and that that's amazing to me because i think he is undervalued in some white isn't so that was a situation where i went. Patrick laws i. I was able to get austin edgar later and so again you just have to watch the draft or if you have ideas on who you want to target you see the draft is going that can influence. You don't feel like you have to do it because somebody said take running back. I met her About that so just a couple. More thoughts from mike playbook on wide receivers. He knows it's as deep as ever and i went through. My right now is to find you. Or the consensus is an espn dot com which are pretty similarly aligned. And i think there's a case that at least the first twenty five maybe even twenty eight wide receivers might be players that i would be comfortable with if they were my number one wide receiver and it may sound crazy to you but if you told me i walked away from my draft and i was so well built at running back in tight end the my top wide receiver was deontay johnson. I'd say fine. I realized there. There are certainly scenarios. The guy nearly ninety catches last season right. Julio jones another guy being drafted be ranked so interested the twenties but but you can certainly feel more comfort with julio jones as my wide receiver one than i had to believe. He's running back. I'm sorry wide receiver. Eighteen on the board right now. I'd feel more comfortable that my team was going to be good if he was my wide receiver one than it would if the running back at running back eighteen chris carson was my wider seat running back one right so the depth of wide receiver is just so overwhelming that. I'm okay with waiting. But i guess the counterpoint would be if everyone is waiting on wide receivers understanding that there's value there..

"That always difficult decision. I may i ask you something if you if you knew that. He was not going to play until october. Would you still keep him at six a. A be if i if you're going to play until october which would mean probably three to four games missed. He might be man a yankee all the way down to eleven or twelve for me. The reason i say that is that has been put out there by jordan. But i feel like that is not really being looked at now granted. A lot can change. And you've seen the videos the hype videos of saquon training. It looks fantastic and you look at his legs. You could not be ready and look at the video. Tell me how many times you see it. Shot from the left versus. I mean there's things it's these are the things. I look for and while his left leg looks enormous and his right leg. By comparison to normal human beings looks quite large. His right his left not necessarily the same. And there's a lot of nuance with this kind of injury in terms of coming back where it's not necessarily you're worried about the graph tearing again. You're not worried about the aco re injury per se. That's always you know at least base level concern but look at delvin cook. What happened the year. He came back from his aco and as his volume increase. The of the hamstring. Problem never was really healthy. That first year those are the things that they worry about bringing a player back like this so i would just say. I think that it's been floated out there for a reason and people need to keep in mind that that could be the case. If you wanna draft saquon early because you think. I don't care he's worth it because if i get the second half of the season and he's going to be that guy then i'll just make up for it by picking up someone else early I would just say you better provide some insurance for your roster under the premise that he may be available for a few weeks very very interesting So a again. this is another reason. Why if you could afford to do so drafting in late. September late august september is always worthwhile strategy a little bit of news with desert a rip through here. Aaron rodgers the latest saga with him in green bay latest chapter in the saga includes news from adam. Schefter this morning. That green bay offered to make him the highest paid quarterback in the nfl the a two year extension on top of the three years. He has remaining this off season and it was declined as aaron. Rodgers is not concerned about the money. Right now is to find you no surprise there. Here's what i'll say is that. I don't know when this things come to a conclusion. I don't know how it's going to come to a conclusion. I don't know if the conclusion includes the possibility from playing for somebody else. I don't know if there is some trap door that the packers can try to escape through that will allow aaron rodgers to change his mind or compel aaron rodgers to change his mind. But at this point if you're asking me questions about how high roger should be drafted was of mean for davante adams just being transparent with you like i'm guessing i really am right like eh roger seems principled enough and and has been acting as such this off season that if you told me aaron rodgers. This isn't played all this year. I wouldn't be stunned at the same time if you told me that. Aaron rodgers and the packers were able to work out in agreement that allows him to be guaranteed or effectively guaranteed a trade after this year and he decides by the middle of training camp. He's back he's gonna play it out for one more year. I also wouldn't be stunned. So i i would say that an and you can be curious if your thoughts differ. Davante adams is large enough sample size of being not just fantastic with aaron rodgers but really with other wide receivers and with other quarterbacks we saw him with brett hundley one year. He had like eight touchdowns or ten touchdowns in that season which aaron rodgers missed a significant period of time. He won't he won't go number one overall amongst wide receivers. If i knew aaron rodgers wasn't gonna play but ellen dropping pass like five or six. He's just that special of a player. Does that feel different than your approach if air if there's even uncertainty surrounding aaron rodgers when your draft comes around yeah well i think just because of the quarterback change value drops a little bit. I'm not making that. Push to get devante. Adam so high in the first round and i think you know the green bay has been certainly going out of their way to let us know how good jordan lovelock's how much improvement. Ota's but of course it wasn't throwing top receivers than because they weren't there. I think your two options are the ones i foresee either. Aaron rodgers sits out the year and takes the hit financially. Because he doesn't care he's he's duggan or he's guaranteed you know when you're in any out and he doesn't show up until they i don't care barron. Roger shows up the day before the season starts the minute he walks in. Everyone's value skyrockets right. He doesn't mean camp. They have chemistry all between all of them And yes. I still think i still think devante davante adams probably remains at the at my top in my top. Three may be number one. But it's hard for me to just equate glue with jordan love. I just don't know how that offense looks. I mean we know one does right. I feel i keep is funny. I was actually having this conversation with a coach. It won't point this summer whose team. They're sorting through a variety of competitions. And he said to me you guys talking about. Who's going to win the job. When is so and so going to be their side of the starter like You realize teams. Don't know the answer to that question. That's kind of why they're holding a competition. So when i say. We don't know what the panthers offense looks like with jordan love nor does the packers. He played zero games last year. So i think it's worth noting that s- you know as much as you may have confidence in jordan because he was a first round pick last year or as much as you may be concerned by the fact that he wasn't even there. Qb to last year a lot of things can change once a player actually has a chance to be on the field so our that's enough for the news. Here's defined. I wanna get to us some really interesting stuff from my clay and then of course some user question before we get to guam..

"This is very good news for the long term health of blind and then picking up his fifth year. Option tells you they're potentially interested in sake one long-term so are they going to run him out there and ruin him early no for fantasy purposes. I'd be thinking there's at least the potential that he is not ready to start when the season begins then even when he does. What's his volume. Initially there. i think a lot of people have sort of wrap their minds around the idea that there are probably six running backs that many rancours will have as their clear. Cut top six going into the season. In some order christian. Mccaffrey delving cook alvin kamara. Derrick henry ezekiel elliott and also saquon. As a matter of fact. I just pulled up our espn dot com rankings. And all six of us have a rank up there right now. Have those six in. some order. Always have christian. Mccaffrey one and then from there. There's a little bit less consensus. But if i were to do those rankings right now. Well i wouldn't have to change him. Because i already had sake one number six out of those six. But i wouldn't be surprised if the lack of certainty that he's available for the beginning of the preseason multiplied by the idea that the giants might be a little prudent with his workload early in the season pushes him down to number six more across the board in those rankings amongst our other. Espn dot com rancor. So we're not sounding alarms right now on one but if you're drafting right now in you're making difficult call it picked four or five and you're splitting hairs between you'll elliott and save on bark. Layer ezekiel elliott saquon. Barkley and derrick. Henry this might be useful. Context have available for you right now. If you're as you're making..

"To find. You mean they've got like six grand and miami's got plenty of guys the patriots like they're carrying at least a couple extra always always always refining teams. That are like all right. There's probably because. I just don't see how to not definitely not going to be via trade but to your point about the. You mentioned both the niners in the dolphins. Let's not forget savant. Akhmed was a forty niner at the beginning of last training camp and then got claimed by the dolphins off waivers and if you remember his brief fill in as the starter look more than capable so right now. I think he's going to wonder where the rams turned. I think more likely it will be patient will figure this out with got the entire month of august to sort through it. But i wouldn't suspected. Maybe i'm way off your the rams make a major move but to level said i think for now henderson probably going to catapult somewhere in the i would say twenty twenty five range for running backs speaking of running backs and this is a running back. Who's way higher up in the preseason rankings. But maybe we'll see his stock dropped just a little bits to find you. Saquon barkley spoke yesterday to pro camp. And i don't believe it's the first time we've either heard from saquon or someone close saquon this off season but it's the most recent sound from him in. What did you make about what he had to say. Specifically what did he have to say. The word vet that are being quoted and running on the bottom line are we'll we'll see when asked about whether he'd be ready to go. The started training camp will see how 'bout wake one. We'll see you know kind of the message of taking it one day at time. She how he's doing. This message has really been put forward since the ota's but somehow i feel like people have not been paying attention. There's this this desire. I think to imagine saquon barkley being back to what he was at people have sort of discounted the information that i think has been there and jordan on has done a great job of of laying down the tidbits as they rolled out especially during ota's he was not visible during ota's he was rehabbing safe on us and the giants said something that i thought people ignored which was we are going to make sure. He's one hundred percent ready for his body and his injury before we return and they made it clear. There was no time line and that extended into the season and i feel like people just ignored. That we're paying attention is going to be back. I wrote a piece for us. it's still up on. Espn dot com if you have espn plus and my point was this is not a binary issue this is not saquon will be good or he'll never be the same you know he's either great like he was. It'll never be the same. It's not like fat. This is really a question of win. Does he get back to being saquon. I think given the injury given the surgery given the progression and given where he is and what he's doing which is what you really have to look at. You can't compare it to every other. Acl sale meniscus. You have to look at where he is currently where he is currently is not doing the football things that you would anticipate. I don't think you're going to see him at the start of camp. I think they're going to ease him in volume wise and even when he gets back to playing. I think that happens the.

"Ever so close. We've got rookies for a variety of teams reported the training camp today and field installation. You're hanging out with you on this tuesday. hello stephan. we've got some news upon us today. I feel like that you went third person right out of the gate. I you know what. I don't know why i did. That actually feels like a little bit out of character for me. I apologize for those are offended. I leave the third person. It's not just so out of character. I'd sometimes to be back with you. I've been away from the pod for awhile and down. You know traveling again. And now here. I am in and soon me holding down the fort so close to the time we all back together which We are two weeks away. I'll get a specific date at some point soon but we promise you guys will be back and we'll be back in our fancy studio Like we were last year and we cannot wait for those days. Kyle knows already busy. Hammering away on preseason show documents but we a bit of unexpected news minutes before you and i started recording this podcast which ten thirty am eastern time on tuesday which involves a potential star running back. That's camakers lost. Angeles rams bummer. This one is what can you tell us. I now while he tore his achilles which at the one thing. I'll say don't you start with the good news like this used to be automatically thought of is like the death sentence for an nfl player especially running back and it's not necessarily that anymore. We've seen guys come back from his injury. Got marlin mac in indianapolis Certainly he's not atop the depth chart like kim acres was because they have jonathan taylor marlin to play this year and It's it's just so unfortunate to me. The timing of it is terrible Obviously high hopes for camakers this this season. It's really interesting because we have seen guys come back from these new more modern techniques in the rehab that they're doing within a six month window sometimes shorter than that little tougher running back. But when you look at where we are halfway through july. It's really hard to envision unless they were deep deep into the playoffs and at that point It's just hard to imagine that they would use anything. But i are spot for camakers yet. One has to figure the second year running back is going to miss the entirety of the twenty twenty one season however long that lasts for los angeles. Adam schefters up tweet to his first report. Suggested as much so just borough news to find for any number of reasons not the least of which is that. This guy looked like the real deal at the end of last year. He learned so well for los angeles when he got the chance to be the featured back. We know for many seasons. Sean mcveigh when he didn't have earlier. Maybe not many season before a season or two with a little bit of a hot hand approach whether it was malcolm brown or carol henderson or even to a degree three headed mazar at the beginning of last year but it seemed like the rams are trending towards having a one man band in the back field. That's not going to be the case with no camakers if you take a look at the rams depth chart right now beyond camakers at running back. There's one name knows. It's daryl henderson. But he's a third round bay a couple of years ago that the rams used a second round pick a year later in camakers not replaced to find you but to supplant as their go to go to back so i think by default duro henderson should be looked at as the starter behind him. Raymond claes ball previously a return specialist for the buccaneers jig funk their seventh round pick out of maryland good college player also on the depth chart right now in some other names that are a little bit further down the depth chart less familiar. But thanks to find. We have to ask ourselves a couple of questions about. And we'll start with what the value would be for. Daryl henderson and i think after that we need to look into whether the rams should be considering adding a running back somewhere else. How intrigue would you be by daryl henderson given this news running kim anchors. Now it's interesting. I'm not sure how to feel about him. I don't really believe that he is going to be a workhorse back. I just have this sense that there's going to be an addition that happens as you mentioned. There's free agents are bailable. None of them particularly outstanding at the moment. But you know how things happen during training camp and people shift around. I mean obviously daryl henderson's valiant moves up a bit because there is no camakers ahead of him. But i'm not running out to draft him in fantasy of as an rb what i mean. That's not where i'm looking at it. Just don't feel that workloads going to be there for him. He's not that remember. And i'm sure many this gas but just a brief reminder third round pick a couple years ago five eight so not a huge guy two hundred or some pounds. Is it an nfl player. Obviously pretty thick and well built but last year's defined you had one hundred thirty eight carries average four and a half yards per. Carry at five rushing touchdowns. I don't know if there is a specific reason why he never took on that. Lead back. role weather was the rams. Don't view miss the kind of guy that should be an every down back or if it was that they just found something makers that was so spectacular that they had to let the good times roll with camakers but it seems like the first crack at him. Would i practice. this job. Goes to daryl henderson. And i would think savant. You're right. He's not a top ten rb in preseason rankings. Even with this news as fresh as it is. But i would think somewhere in the top twenty twenty five range for right. Now daryl henderson. Unless it's the big unless there is an addition through free agency or trade. Current free agents include the likes of adrian. Peterson dodd girly. Which were you suggest that one. Let's not forget the terms that todd early in the rams divorced over it was ugly to say the least. But i suppose trainer. Things have happened than a player returning to a place where he wants left on with a bitter taste in his mouth. Dan lewis obviously spent last year with the giants. You've got players like shawn mccoy. Who recently said he wants to Has talked to some teams. He of course back back super bowl champion so there are some options out there. Maybe on bell. I don't think anybody is an obvious. You gotta go grab him but still they all feel like they're the little bit over the hill options you know i've been there is nothing about any of those options that you suggest might be necessary for them as football team. None of it feels great for fantasy. And i think what probably I think we'll probably makes more sense for the rams rather than signing one of those free agents into is examining whether the waiver wire or examining the trademark it because as we know a lot. Nfl teams have good depth..

And so these this law firm basically got whacked and it doesn't really say there's not a whole lot of specific information but the files were a supposedly stored in it was single file. That had a bunch of information in it. it doesn't say how they got it or or what was actually in there and in fact we found the letter of the breach that the attorney or the law firm sent to folks bud which was posted on the state of california website. Yeah because i think in i mean so it hosted the template yes example that was sent out the impact. Now through the attorney. General's office in california. So yes i guess just just reading what happened. Yeah right so. We recently became aware of suspicious activity within our computer network while our investigation is ongoing. We have discovered that an authorized third party. Aker he access to a single file. Aiding personal information leading to i nine employment. Verification services is file contain personal information for a discrete number of google irs. Informal googlers hooting. You personally yes so not a lot. No and it sounds like it was again. I mean they specifically say a single file which again so they probably had a shared drive. Set up with all the stuff. Just you know. Some folder loaded up with information. Or you know. I or a database of some sort but either way like this that's super compromising data and i mean we say so if someone has unauthorized access. They're pretty has unauthorized access. I don't have it just to a file right there in there somehow director right exactly where unless it does beg the question me. This was insider. You know like the guy got fired. And he's like all right puts us drive in loads file up. It's been real or you just kind of thumbing through the file names. This one looks interesting and this is This was akin to recollecting the pm Breach because of just the the fact that you're you've got in some cases so it again. I don't think it says when these files referral because there's current and past but again we're in the middle of a pandemic so a lot of people are using digital versions of this other scanning id's scanning birth certificates and then sending them to do employment verification and depending on how these how this law firm handles that could be the emailed it and then the person just like drags the attachment folder into the file. And that's how they do it But i remember chrysler with an i nine. You're supposed to like verify these things in person right so they've modified because you can't especially like if you're remote how would you. How would you do that. I don't know i'm shrugging and you know again. It's one of those situations where i mean. If you work for google would well. I don't know that's not true because there's all kinds of people to work google. They're not all exactly. That's honestly probably would have been the better scenario here. Maybe it's just the everyone's dragging it into google. The free google drive document but good news. Free identity theft protection jackpot nail. That which just got it from

The Bible Recap
2 Kings 19 and Psalm 46, 80, 135
"Today, we revisited part of the story. We I read on Day, two. Oh, six including! HAS ACI response to Kingston Aker ABS threats. We're reminded of how humbly he responded when troubles came as way, and since we've read this story before you probably recall that after this when he's been blessed, and has stockpiled fortunes, and he gets to live an extra fifteen years, his heart Arc's away from God, it becomes prideful doubts God's words and live somewhat airless Lii. One of the things we didn't touch on home. I read this story. A few days ago was the part where God puts a spirit and snacker. That will cause him to hear ally. There are a few noteworthy things about that burst. God is in charge of evil spirits there on a leash, and they have to do what he says and go where he commands that comforting second God himself didn't mislead snacker. Scripture tells us repeatedly that God cannot lie. Bruce Sixteen eight says he's incapable of it. It would be contrary to his character because according to John. Fourteen one of his name's is the truth. Is the truth, but God's certainly does use equal for his own purposes when Romans eight twenty eight says he works all things together for the good of those who love him. Evil is included in that list of all things, the good, the bad and the ugly the truth he speaks, and the rumors other speak. So. He allows snacker up to be misled. If you think that might be an unjust response, try to zoom out and remember how sin. Acura of has been Lee bought your way and his leaders tell the people of Judah that they shouldn't let y'all way. Trick them into trusting him. This is a merciful response based on what's inaccurate. Deserves from God. Isaiah also tells has a that they will win this war without even putting gas in their horses, and he's right before a Syria can fire an aero toward Jerusalem God's Army, an army of one shows up and wins, but it isn't really a balanced fight. The Assyrians are way outnumbered by the angel of the Lord who kills one hundred and eighty, five thousand of them and one night, plus he has the home field advantage since he owns the whole earth and whatnot, then eventually, king inaccurate is assassinated just as God promised. Next! We jumped back into the psalms. There were two verses in Psalm, Forty forty-six that stood out to me in light of what we just read. Burst this reference to Jerusalem in verse five stood out. It says God is within her. She shall not be moved. God will help her. When morning dawns, this is certainly what played out over the course of the night. When the angel of the Lord showed up and won the battle for them while they were sleeping when morning dawned, they laid eyes on God's victory. The second verse I loved is the most famous one in this chapter Burston be still and know that I am God. One of the things we've seen repeated as you've been in Isaiah lately. Is this idea of quietness and rest and trust? This stillness fits right in with that, doesn't it? In Psalm Eighty the corporate cry is for God to save them and restore them. In this song Israel knows its identity and echoes it back to the God. Who gave them that identity to begin with? I love this imagery in verses eight nine? It says you brought a vine out of Egypt that vine reference to Israel the people the ones he rescued from Egypt. Then it continues saying you drove out. The nation's and planted it. You cleared the ground for it. This is a reference to Israel the place God drove out the Canaanites and planted them there, and now they've been burned up cut down plucked up and they ask God to restore them and promised to praise him for it. Someone thirty five is where my God showed up today. I really love this psalm. I went through it and circled all the action verbs where God is the subject and here's everything. God does in this chapter. Chose Jacob in Israel. Does whatever He pleases, he makes the clouds rise. It makes lightening brings forth the wind. You struck down. The Egyptians is sent. Signs wonders you struck down many nations. He killed mighty kings, then gave their land to Israel he will vindicate his people. You will have compassion on his servants E, Doyle's in Jerusalem. God does a lot of things here, and as we look back on all of them. We see his hand to bless his people. To restore and redeem the very ones who have repeatedly gone astray from him. and. He doesn't do it begrudgingly. He does it willingly joyfully. You know we know that because I six says he does whatever He pleases. It pleases God to adopt centers into his family, and call them sons and daughters. It demonstrates his great art bore redemption. You will vindicate his people. He will have compassion on his servants. It leases him. Wow, ease where the joy

What The NBA’s New Salary Cap Projection Means For 2020 Free Agency
"It gets closed the trade deadline headline then you have GM sweating and Al and the GM's that really need to make a trade for whatever reasons. Those of the deals that may slip under the radar that may be the difference between a team really producing. NTN`Er team really not producing a right next to the trade deadline. Those the ones I I really wanna see because those the ones that are executed in haste there not couple cited some those have a tendency to be more one sided than any other traits that we see so. I'm looking forward to that a whole week. Well this whole week when it concerns the NBA trade deadline A lot of things going on right now with the rumors and all the stuff. That's out there. One thing I do want to tell fans out there before we head on out is that the I know. There's a lot of things that are being set out there from these experts from these journalists from these podcasts that you're listening to out there as far as NBA hardcore fans are concerned. One of the things you're hearing is bird rights pertaining bird rights. Oh this guy doesn't have a big rides. Oh the the team will get his bird rights. I WANNA make sure everybody understands. What are bird rights at Burger is basically it stands from? Yes Larry Bird dealing with the contract situation. -Tuation the Boston Celtics longtime ago. Basically it's something that's now done on. The collective bargaining agreement and also with the players and owners has been formally set up bird bird rights according to go ahead with sports lingo dot com user exact termination. Here's someone to quote them. Bird rights is a term used to describe a tactic an NBA free free agency or trading or trading where a team is allowed to exceed the salary cap at the maximum salary in order to sign one of their own players. That's something that a Lotta people need understand what it concerns the lingo. That's going on right now because you're going to hear a lot about those two words bird rights you know if they trade a player and the the team can still retain the bird rights or if they can't because if they can't that makes a lot of difference especially those tax strap teams those those that are over or close to the tax if they cannot retain these players if they don't have their bird rights so that's something very important key to listen to down the road over the next next few days whether team is going to trade for a player that they can keep their bird rise because it it helps these teams for the long term if they want to go ahead and resign nineties players with Saudi. I JUST WANNA go ahead give heads up because I hear all this bird writes this bird rights at at nobis explaining really what bird rights are player has asked to stay with the team for three years in order to earn his bird rights in bird. Ruts don't do anything. Help team avoid luxury taxes. But what they they do. is they allow an exemption so that they can basically pay the guy whatever they want they allow them to go over the CAP. It doesn't prevent them from making taxes. They can go over the cap even go into a luxury tax situation. But it still doesn't prevent them from pain a luxury tax. So t Michael Akers. For example the Lakers signed demarcus cousins to a one year deal if they signed him to a two year deal next year next summer then he would be a three year contract contract and at the end of that contract they would have his bird rights they could then sign him to whatever amount they want regardless of where they how over the CAP. The cap gap doesn't even matter to them it would put them into luxury tax of the gave him a big contract and they still have to pay the luxury tax but they would be able to go ahead and sign him. No matter are

MNF Recap Packers Vikings; Beastmode returns
"The packers certainly did not blow the doors off the Vikings Aaron Rodgers and company. They you know. They struggled for large portions of this game on offense against a good vikings demon in a very difficult place to play. But I think the story of this game really will be what a massive egg. The Vikings Kings laid an Wessel. Start with you I know you and I have had our disagreements with Kirk cousins and the Vikings were blamed should be assessed when the vikings go wrong and this does not make me the winner that argument you're right and everything he said it was all right. Dan is declared the winner. Now that is that is not true because a lot of people people didn't show up in this game it's certainly not kirk cousins either seven first downs for Minnesota and four quarters the fewest home game by this organization since Nineteen seventy-one Avenue. One Keith. Hands US was a junior at Clarkston high school at that time senior clocks down high. The man's grandfather. Wes speak to it. Come on Kirk cousins. Put the team on your back when they need you. Well like I said on Thursday you and I see more IDA. I'd on this than than it seems like. I don't care what his record is on Monday night football that is immaterial it like somehow nine Monday night games are better than than Sunday games. I might have been true in one thousand nine hundred three three. I don't think that's been true lately. Thirdly we've seen this before he didn't come up. When the redskins needed a late season victory he didn't come up big when the Vikings of two thousand eighteen needed a late season victory and he didn't come up big tonight and like you said the blame can be assessed to a running game? That didn't exist. An offensive line that got worked over by the packers Akers front seven a defense that got some turnovers but also allowed one hundred and fifty yards to Aaron Jones. A coach who punted down thirteen with three and a half minute or four minutes left in the game. There's a lot of blame to go around but I you cannot escape. The Kurt cousins led an offense that had seven first downs. And like you said since one thousand nine hundred seventy. One was the last time that happened in Vikings home game. This is one of the most disappointing performances. Any team is head all
