"This, this, here it is. I got it, I got it. Let me see if this is the right one. Make sure, double check. Providing clarity. Okay, all right, here we go. You guys want to hear who's going to this? You guys want to hear it? Here we go. It is going to be Rosten Benham. He's going to be on panel one. He is the chairman of the CFTC, okay? Panel two is going to be Christopher Giancarlo, former chairman of the CFTC. Paul Grewal, chief legal officer, Coinbase. Dan Gallagher, chief compliance officer, Robinhood. Dan Berkovitz. How they have Dan Berkovitz had to step down for bribery on there, but whatever. Former commissioner, CFTC, former attorney council, SEC. Walt Lukin, president and CEO, Futures Industry Association, and former acting chairman of the CFTC, okay? Who's not on there? Nobody from the SEC is on there. Do you guys see the war? Do you see the war? We're having a war between Congress and the CFTC and the SEC. That's everybody that's going to be at that hearing. Now, maybe they could put more people on, but I don't believe so. That sounds about right. They usually have five to six people. There you go. Falcons wide receiver Avery Williams out for 23 season. I didn't even know he was a person, so I don't know. My Falcons got to the point where I know like six people on the team. Desmond Ritter, John Robinson, I think is his name, new running back. You got Kyle Pitts. You got AJ Terrell, Grady Jackson, Great Jarrett, excuse me, Great Jarrett. You got, did I say Desmond Ritter already? You got Drake London. That's about all I know. Guys, our team is really bad, but we got a good coach. I think we just don't make the playoffs. We have the easiest schedule in the NFL outside of the Saints. So anyways, community did not provide specific details. I have all the questions too. I have all the questions from the hearing as well. I don't just have the panelists. I also know the questions. So there you go. There's some inside information for you guys on what is going on. Ben doesn't ever know. I hear you all. I hear some of you all. I hear the haters. We drown them out. In a recent development, Republican lawmakers Patrick McHenry and Glenn Thompson have released a draft bill that aims to establish a clear regulatory framework. In response to the recent lawsuits filed by the SEC against Coinbase and Binance, pro -crypto Republican US Senator Cynthia Lummis expressed her concerns about the lack of clear legal guidance regarding the distinction between securities and commodities. $4 I paid ,000 to go to her dinner in Miami and I was too tired and I slept through it. $4 ,000 nap. We supported Cynthia Lummis and you see she's going against the SEC so we like that. I also like McHenry. I would like McHenry. I would love to get him on the show. Is he gonna wear bow tie? Gotta wear a bow tie on the show. He has to. I mean we'll make that a requirement. But I really like what he's doing. I do. I like Tom Emmer. I love Byron Donalds. That's my favorite. Byron Donalds is my guy. Like, I want to donate to his campaign whenever he runs again. I love Byron Donalds. He's my very, very, very favorite person in politics by a considerable margin. So there we go. US states going after Coinbase following SEC suit. Here's how. They're piling on top. Security regulators from Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, South Carolina, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin are part of a task force aimed at Coinbase's trading and staking services. I can't believe Alabama joined this. Alabama was talking about having me come out there and speak to their house like two years ago. It didn't end up happening and now they're going after Coinbase? Yeah. What in the backwards sister kissing trailer park tornado and garbage

"Serious. I'm excited about tonight, man. I really am, because I always say, it's finally the deadlines here. Now, every team we've had all the smoke and all the mirrors we've had this team may like this. This team made like this and I said it before. This is the process of the NFL Draft where it's about they build you up to tear you down. They build you up to tear you down. I always remember one thing my mom always told me, when I got drafted, she says, I have tears of joy, but also have tears of sadness. And I was like, how do you have tears of joys and sadness? That's kind of like oxymoron. You can't be happy and sad at the same time. She says, no, she says, I'm happy because you're accomplishing a dream. You're accomplishing a goal that you set forth that you want to play in the NFL, and you got there. I am so happy for this moment for you. But I'm also sad because it probably won't end the way that you wanted. And I said, wow, that's kind of deep, but she was like, that's just a reality, a professional sports. A lot of times it doesn't end the way that you want. A lot of us don't, you know, ride off in the sunset on a white stallion and tell everybody, hey, I'm done playing football. Usually it ends, not because of you, but because someone else tells you you're done. So embrace your moment, embrace all of it, have fun, accomplish your goal, but just know that there will be an end in sight. And you hope that it's for a long, long time away, I played 8 football seasons in the NFL and loved every season. You know, whether it was the 214 year or an 8 year whatever it may be, man. It was a fun ride and a fun journey. And I look forward to a lot of these guys seeing where they go and what they do. I pulled up something because Monday fellas Monday, or else our money, Tuesday, may 2nd, may 2nd, is the 5th year option day. Oh. That's the players who were drafted in the 2020 NFL Draft, will there are 5th year options we picked up. And so this little exercise, I'm going through just a little bit because three seasons ago, just want to go through these names really quickly with you guys. And see, you know, kind of how this day, the excitement of the 2020 draft. We thought how these players would pan out. And in three short seasons, these are what some of the players look like. Pick number one, Joe burrow. Just had his option picked up. The other day. Pick number two. Chase young. Did not get his option picked up. And then also too, are we saying he's been very underwhelming. And three short seasons in the National Football League, Jeff akuta, the third overall pick, he's already on team number two. Traded. Okay. Andrew Thomas up and down a little bit with the New York Giants. You can say to a tongue by Lola, the 5th pick overall is a jury still out on tua. Is it the injury history? Kind of scary a little bit. I mean, he mentioned retirement about retiring this past off season. Remember, these guys were drafted three seasons ago. It's not that far along, not that long ago. Justin Herbert picked 6. I think that's a no brainer. He's picked up Derrick Brown, defensive lineman. It hasn't really made a ton of noise, but had a solid start so far. Isaiah Simmons at pick 8 remember that? In 2020 NFL Draft. Clemson. A monster at Clemson has not been a monster in the National Football League. CJ Henderson already on a second team already. Remember, how many guys are on there a second team already? These are top ten picks and in three years are already on a different team. We're not even out of the top ten yet from 2020 draft. Cleveland might not pick up his 5th year option. Mackay Becton, very underwhelming. Injury prone. We played 15 games. I won't even go. Number 12, overall Henry ruggs. We already know his situation with the rate he's not in there. Tristan worse? Superstar. Superstar. Redraft he's the second overall pick. Oh, Tristan Worf is maybe not with us. I will say, sewer bowl champion. Yeah. Javon kinlaw. Forty-niners. Jerry Judy was in trade discussions, possibly. He got picked to the Denver Broncos. He's still a good player. But other guys like AJ Terrell has been outstanding one of the bright young corners, CD lamb, star. Star. Austin Jackson pick 18. He's been up and down with the Miami Dolphins. Damon arnett no longer in the National Football League. In 2019. Kay levon chaisson has been up and down. Jalen rager already on his second team already. All right, Elle, then by the way, I'll stop here, but pick 22 that year in a 2020 draft, guy by the name of Justin Jefferson star. Star. But look how far we had to get to the star. He's top 5 in a redraft, yeah. Oh, redraft. He's top 5. CD lamb, I think he's in my top 5. Tristan works. Second overall. I think obviously Joe burrow has been the consensus number one. He's proved to be quick pick. When you think about redrafts, you got to remember though, second round had hurts. Oh yeah. There was some hits down. He had the second round. Jonathan Taylor was in that second round Antoine Winfield in that second round. Trayvon Diggs has been a baller. You mentioned Jalen hurts who's the highest paid player in the NFL history. Jonah Jackson's another big name out of that draft as well. So you've got some players who have made some Devin duvernay. There's another player with the Baltimore Ravens. Tyler BioTech as well. Wisconsin center. Now that's my center. Dallas Cowboys, yeah. See? So I bring that up as an exercise because obviously the 5th year option days on Tuesday. But just know that you could be excited tonight about what your team does and in three years, that player could be with another football team. That's how quickly this thing can change in the National Football League. It's not about who you are as a player, sometimes it's about the situation you are going to. So you hope you're going to a stable situation, especially with the coaching staff. I play for 6 coaches being in 8 years. It's sometimes. You can't help what happens to you. Sometimes it's unfortunate. But you're always grateful for the opportunity, you're grateful to be drafted in National Football League and so I say this tonight, good luck to all of the players. I look forward to seeing where a lot of them go. Get them hugs in. Wrestling fans. Heat. Wow. Join Hall of Fame wrestlers every week sharing their

"Also got some news, and let's begin there. Adam, Detroit, traded Jeff Okuda to the falcons, what more can you tell us? Laura former third overall pick delta the Atlanta Falcons for a 5th round draft pick in this upcoming draft. Think about all the defensive talent that Atlanta has acquired this off season, safety, Jesse Bates, defensive lineman class Campbell, defensive tackle David Anya mata. They've added a lot of defensive talent this off season and now Jeff Acuna becomes the latest piece that they add to that defense which should figure to be improved the lion's recognized that a cuda was going into the 5th year option clearly they didn't intend to pick up that option and so they traded him to Atlanta and what became the latest move for the Atlanta Falcons. You see all the players that they've added this off season to that roster clearly they're poised to make a jump this upcoming year and that list right there doesn't even include the 8th overall pick that they're poised to make later this month in Kansas City. I mean, if you look at what the Atlanta Falcons have done defensively, I believe it's smart. You have AJ Terrell who's a Pro Bowl caliber defensive back in corner who can follow number one wider receivers and you add a top three talent at the position in Jeffrey O couper to all of these new pieces that we just heard Adam mentioned. They're trying to find a defense that complements an offense that was great in the run game last year win with physicality win with big plays defensively. Pressure turnovers. But if you're the Detroit Lions, you have revamped that defense as well. And you knew that Jeffrey Okuda wasn't going to be a part of that. You're a disappointed because you didn't get the type of play you expect from a number three overall pick, but you get a 5th round draft pick and you're going to continue to build that team in the image of Dan Campbell and obviously Jeffrey Okuda was no longer a part of that. Yeah, Jeff akuda just the second player in the last decade to be drafted in the top three overall and then traded less than three years after being drafted. The other Sam darnold, by the way, interesting little tie in there. Also some news out of Tampa Bay with Devin white, Adam, what's going on there? Well, Devin white has requested a trade from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now the Buccaneers do not want nor in ten to in trade Devin to intend to trade them in white but clearly there is an issue here because he would like out and he is headed into that 5th year of his contract. And we've seen some of the other linebackers around the league at his position, get paid. We've seen roque want Smith come in about $20 million a year. We've seen tremaines come in about $18 million a year. Now we have Devin white headed into the 5th year option without a new deal. We don't know exactly why he wants out of Tampa, but usually you follow the money and you find a pretty good reason and the Buccaneers who are a team in transition right now are looking at the situation where they have an unhappy player who doesn't want to be there and they're going to have to figure out how to address it, though right now they're not interested in moving on from him. Chef to hit the nail on the head, follow the money. I'm sure there was some contract talks on negotiations and it didn't turn out the way Devin wanted to turn out and Tampa as a rebuilding organization at this point. There's a lot of unknowns about what they'll be on the offensive side of the ball. And obviously, you mentioned roquan Smith shifty, that is the litmus test, a guy that's played at a very high level, been very productive within this organization and usually these things look identical and in this regard, I believe they are very identical. Look, Devin white won a Super Bowl was an integral part and went into road to winning that Super Bowl, and now you get to the point where you have 5th year, you're looking for some money, you probably expect the organization to take care of you previous to that needing to be exercised, didn't happen, and now you try to find greener pastures elsewhere and look, if you follow and rode corn Smith template, you're going to be a very wealthy man. If the trade happens and you end up with a new organization. Yeah, as things currently stand, the Buccaneers have the longest odds to win the NFC south. We've wondered if they could be a candidate actually to trade up and try to get that three spot that the Cardinals hold. Yeah. So maybe even draft a quarterback, but feels like to Marcus's point, certainly in a rebuilding situation. All right, as we're dealing with some technical issues with milk hyper junior, we can look at his mock draft, whether he's here or not. And we'll get his comments on a little bit later. But look there at the top, okay? You see the quarterbacks going down the line there in those top four picks. And that's really important because as you see that, this would be the first time in the common draft era that the four QBs come off the board with the top four picks. You can see Bryce young number one going there to Carolina and then CJ Stroud at number two to the Texans. Then you got Anthony Richardson, that is actually the trade, Mel has the Titans treating up to get that number three spot from the Cardinals drafting Anthony Richardson out of Florida and then will levis at number four. So you guys, this would be historic, first of all. But secondly, I think one of the things that's gotten lost in all this Anthony Richardson versus will levis talk is Bryce young still, as Mel sees it, the number one overall pick in this draft. Ryan, I'll start with you. You've been around these guys a ton. Do you agree that Bryce is a lock at one? You know what? I can't agree that Bryce is a lock at one because I'm not a general manager. I'm not a head coach in the NFL. And we've seen whether it's mail or Todd or mad or RC or Marcus, they think differently than we do sometimes. But for me, it's a no brainer that Bryce young is the number one overall pick. Bryce young has done nothing but been the best player on the football field. The last two years he was at Alabama and also think back to a time lord, I know you cover the SEC Marcus dialed in. Let's think back to a time where we watched the Alabama game and we go, you know what? Alabama has it played well today because of Bryce young. You know what? I can tell you when it happened. Never. He always showed up for this team. He made a team that didn't have the weapons outside this year. A competitive offense and explosive and dynamic. There was no Judy. There was no rugs. There was no waddle. There was no, we didn't have those players this year. And also, I talked to his dad about, okay, what are you going to say about the size issues? What can y'all do to combat that? He said Bryce has always been this side compared to his peers. It wasn't like he was the tallest person in his class and then all of a sudden stopped growing. He's always been able to excel no matter who he was playing against in the athleticism or freaking size of those players and we saw that in the SEC as well. Laura, when we were up there during free agent week, I said at that time and I'll repeat it again that when the Carolina Panthers made this trade, I believe they traded up to number one with the idea that they would take Bryce young at the top slot while being open to all other possibilities including CJ Stroud and if they would be won over. When the forty-niners traded up initially, they traded up with the idea that they were comfortable taking Mac Jones and fell in love with Trey Lance along the way.

"Our relationship with the Roku channel, has a video on demand avenue as well for you to catch this show through clip form. Every single day on the Roku channel through that way, the rich eisen show collection is how we've called it. Very highfalutin. Brandon hunt is in our green room. We'll bring him out shortly. Can't wait to chat with him. Love Ted Lasso. It's one of my favorite shows on television and there's so many reasons why I told him in the back beautiful show. Makes you think makes you cry, makes you laugh. And makes you cheer, it just dynamite. And it's the final season of it. That's kind of a bummer. And we just saw episode three as the kids say, dropped last night. I believe. And they're all like supersized, right? They're all almost an hour long, many of them are absolutely awesome. Loving it, loving it. 8 four four two O four riches and the number to dial here on the program. Couple people may wait in a while. Let's go to Allen, Atlanta, get ready, TJ, I think something's coming your way. What's up now? Good morning, rich. Good morning, gentlemen. Happy opening day, sir. Happy opening. Happy opening day. Happy opening day. Every team is scheduled to play for the first time since 21 and hopefully they'll actually successfully play for the first time in decades. But I am calling with an offering for the entire room and even the back room. Oh. Okay. So as you remember last year, TJ and I had a season long head to head mets versus braves bet that a certain someone is still yet to pay his what? I mean, I don't have Twitter. This has been a step. The original bet was I had to wear a met's Jersey to the bravest game and you had to wear a brave Jersey for a show. Never it. Okay. All right now, let's talk about the here and now then. Okay. Let it go. Last year's last year. This year, since every team will play every team, I figured we could have an entire rich eisen show AL versus NL challenge where the head to head record of every team versus everybody else's team will be your record and whoever has the most series wins at the end and you get to be the champion. I don't know. Hold on a second out. Wait a minute, you're already confusing the hell out of me and I'm difficult sometimes to confuse. So I would be taking entire league against you are obviously you take the national league. I would take the American League. Right. So Yankees Red Sox mets in the braves. I will take the I'll take the Yankees against the brave, let's go. But you get Yankees versus braves as one series. Yankees versus mets as another series in Yankees versus red. No, this isn't us thing. You want to go Yankees against the braves and their head to head? What is it a three game set do we know where it is? Doing what it is? I do not. I'm not checking correct. Here's what we're going to do. Let's table the discussion. You'd call back and we'll hammer this thing out. But we're willing to put I'm willing to put some pinstripes on the line. Thank you. And now, don't worry, bro, I will figure something out. I haven't forgotten about it. We're going to take a braves hat or something. All right, let's move on. Let's move back to the phone lines here. Joe and Florida, you're here on the riches. What's up, Joe? Joe. Hello, gentlemen. Happy opening day. I'll be opening day. Good to see the judge hit a home run. We always love that. So mister eisen, I just got to put it out there. I am a diehard Atlanta Falcons fan. Bennett since 1998 and I live in a house divided like mister brockman said, like Sarah, I root for the good guys and my brother roots for those patriots and whatnot. Okay. I really need to just talk about this Lamar Jackson situation with you guys because I don't understand how everyone is saying that Atlanta should have gone after Lamar. I get the whole Desean Watson comparison from last year. We went all in on him or not going all in on him this year. But if we look at how Atlanta's gone with their roster this year, nobody's even given them any credit for maybe getting away of Campbell or signing Jesse base. We're getting C plus, C minus. Now, those are opinions I have to respect that. So why is it that Lamar Jackson would suddenly make a team that everybody last year said was the worst roster in football by a large margin and was on number one overall pick watch this year from last season. Yet suddenly Lamar Jackson just removes that moniker even if hypothetically it would cost us Chris lindstrom, Grady Jarrett, AJ Terrell, and all the young guys that we currently have on our raw. Yeah, I don't think Lamar is walking through that door. They've already cast their salary cap where it needs to be. I'm assuming you can figure it out to fit everyone in. It's just numbers you can move around and the Atlanta Falcons are drafting 8th overall. After having a 7 in ten season, that I would have to say a roughing the passer call kind of hosed him on. They could have been 8, 9 with a chance to win the division quite frankly. Believe me, I'm well aware on that. Well, that one was actually my birthday. Weekend. I watched that game. The falcons should have had an opportunity. I'm not saying we would have won that game against us. But we had an opportunity taken from us. And I appreciate the call, Joe. Thanks so much. And look, we've got Arthur Smith on tomorrow's program. I will do my best to get an answer that Joe would want to hear, I was trying to pick up what he was saying. He thought the falcons should have gone for Lamar Jackson here. Is that what it is? I kind of thought the opposite. The opposite of it. It was tough to follow both our cars. Well, it's obvious. Brady's gone, you want to take over the division, you want to take over people's attention span. I mean, right now, you know what would love Aaron Rodgers to go to the jets right now? But the schedule makers because if Aaron Rodgers is on the jets, they know the jets are going to be making 6 nationally televised appearances. In the fall. 6. Right now, oh yeah. They will hit the max. And it could be a 7th if they wind up allowing a flex for Thursday night games as was discussed. You kidding me? Aaron Rodgers on the jets, they will be onto the lights in a way that the Jets have not for quite some time. And if Aaron, if Rogers is acquired by the jets,

"Episodes every Thursday. All right, speaking of exhausting. Let's delve into the state of the falcons at this point. Charles McDonald is, by the way, the, I'm gonna just proclaim you to be the foremost authority on the Atlanta Falcons. And I just did Sarah Spain's show last night talking about the falcon sides. I guess I'm the falcons guy now. I gotta say, how are there multiple podcasts out that don't cover the falcons full time? How are they multiple national podcasts doing shows on this Atlanta falcon scene? Because they were, they were the worst 7 one team in NFL history last season, and now Matt Ryan is gone. And the funny's not the word. But the kind of funny thing is like if you were to run down this roster, like if you did the power rankings of players to be excited about on the roster, you were like Kyle Pitts, AJ Terrell, and you'd be kind of like, yeah, this sounds pretty good. And then it's like, Grady Jerry, like, all right, yeah, okay. And then after that, it's Christmas. Come on. It's brutal. It's awful. They're terrible. I remember so last night, Sarah told me that she was like Harry Douglas who, you know, longtime falcon receiver. He said that he's projecting 8 or 9 wins. I'm like, Harry, what are you talking about, dude? Over the next three seasons? Yeah. If we could hear 9 wins by 2024, I think we're hitting in the heading in the right direction. I mean, 9 total wins, yeah. But like you said, the worst 7 one team in the NFL history last season. They were really, really horrendous last year. And I don't know if people who are projecting them to do better have actually one Steven who they be last year. I'm just looking at the winds right now. The Giants jets, dolphins, they beat the same Trevor Simeon's first start there. They barely beat the Jaguars to beat the Panthers and then they barely beat Tim Boyle in the tour lines like at the end of the season. So it's a really bad, it was a really, really bad season for them. And it's funny 'cause when you go back and look at the teams that were actually quality that they played, they lose the first game of the Philadelphia 32 to 6 week two, they got a Tampa 48 to 25 to get blown out by the cowboys 43 to three. You lose two wings and 25 to nothing. Again, 30 to 17 and get blown out by the forty-niners two weeks later. Anytime they play the team that had some semblance of competency, they got destroyed. And they barely squeaking by these teams that ended up picking out the top of the draft. So I thought last season going into the year, that was like the least talented roster that Matt Ryan had played on. He did just enough where they could squeak by and look like kind of respectable and win column by the end of the season, but that team was terrible. And they didn't get like, I think they made some improvements, but they didn't get better to the point where it's like, this is should still be a team that's projected to pick like top three or four in the draft next season. They often define was probably the worst unit in the league last year, and they made absolutely zero moves on that except picking Justin schaefer, the wrong UGA offensive alignment in the 6th round of the draft. A couple of months ago. So I'm at the point where it's like, can you get on NFL red zone? That's all I'm hoping for. This year. Can you get on red zone? 'cause look, I think on paper, it's a fun Madden offense. You got Mariota, CPAP, Kyle Pitts, Drake London, you can score some points on the video game there. I think it's gonna be a lot tougher in real life, but they have like just enough players where they might be interesting to watch like three or four times this year, but for the whole, it's really bad. And I think even last year, as good as AJ Terrell was, and I think he was like objectively one of the 5 best corners in the league. It's still just him like putting out an endless number of fires for the entire game. And Grady Jarrett, he had nothing beside him the entire season on the defensive line. Like they've got some more pieces with they drafted Arnold Abe at the caddy, they signed Eddie Goldman, so there's like a little bit more than they had before, but overall this team still has no talent for the most part. The highs are really high. I think we're Kyle Pitts and Adrian tyrrell, who are like legitimately elite at their position and then you're falling off like these steep is quick. That you can possibly find after that. And it's gonna be a rough season. So look, Harry, Douglas, respect you, great time, watch me with the falcons, but 8 or 9. If they win 9 games, I'm declaring it now. I'll print off a hairy Douglas tweet and eat it. How about that? They wouldn't mind. Wow. I was so sick. I was gonna say join Connor in the pudding pool, but yeah. Look at that. Wow. I'm not gonna swim pudding, but I'll eat it. I just kinda want some pudding. I think that's what it comes down to. Yeah, no, I'm with you. And I just don't understand, I don't know, from your perspective, what do you make of the kind of unceremonious departure of Matt Ryan? I think, to me, has the potential to be one of the dumbest moves by a franchise. Because like you said, Matt Ryan is still putting up adequate numbers with consistently trash offenses, I'm not ready to lump him in with the best of the best. I mean, he had his best year in the NFL. He's over the hill. Yeah. A little bit. But some of these guys still play effective playoff level football just by manufacturing first downs and getting the ball off down the field. I think there's a chance he actually is a really good year in Indianapolis and Atlanta looks incredibly stupid by doing this one. I already do look stupid. Yeah. And the way that the whole thing went down, we're on the one yard line trader for deshaun Watson doesn't happen. And then you have Matt Ryan's like, ah, well, I don't want to. I don't want to stay here. Why the hell do I want to stay here? You guys have Lucy tried to get me out of here for someone like 30 allegations against him. And I think that I think that Matt might be the best quarterback that the colts have tried since Andrew Luck retired. In the sense that he's not like as fossilized, I would say, as Phillip Rivers was, what he got there because rivers when he got there basically all you could do was just like run shotgun because he wasn't like he was kind of like watching Ben Roethlisberger last year except with a much higher throwing ability. If you run that under center stuff in your pushing 40 years old, it might be a little bit harder to get out there and try to run like some of the boot stuff, but that's what Matt's basically been asked to do for the past 5 years and even last year like he's still getting to a point where they played the saints in New Orleans and he jumped out to Mario Davis twice in that game. So it's not like he's this guy who really can't move at all. I think it's gonna open up the playbook for them a lot and for Matt's benefit. This is the best offer to find that he's played behind in quite some time. Like if it's not 2016, something like 2012 before that, when Todd mccord was there, Michael Turner was there. I mean, quin Nelson Ryan Kelly, those other guys on the line that are going to give him a lot of time and then Frank rag is, as we know, one of the better off of the coaches in the league. So I'm excited for Matt. I'm glad that he gave him the middle finger and told him to believe boss because he deserved to get treated a lot better than I think that that ended up going down and I think they're going to pay for it. "Hub. All right, music of the game, even though it's not music. Brought to you by live nation. It's a comedy show. Don't miss Louis black off the rails, Thursday, march 10th at the capital center for the arts and Friday March 11th at the Emerson colonial theater get tickets tomorrow at 11 a.m.. Or is that technically today Friday? At live nation dot com as Lewis black. Very funny man. Shaw's patriots postgame show Jim Mary Jo Murray last segment here at Greg Minnaar to Boston sports journal, Boston sports journal dot com. Let's go to Sean and wester who wants to talk about the tough schedule ahead for the Patriots after tonight's win over the falcons. Go ahead, Sean. Hey guys. Actually two things, I thought back to those. I think the intersection that he through, it was more AJ Terrell passing off Nikhil Harry and going to a Giotto where if he had Joseph held him, he would have had Nikhil Harry wide open. But that's neither here or there. But the ex four games to me is the season because what does this seem really made of? Do they played well with the stress between the brows and the Panthers and the chargers, but this, but I want you to see you go up against presumably the best team in the AFC in the times. And then a team that has more talent than you, but can you and has slept you last year? Could you prove that is that an anomaly or is there a changing of the guard of the AFCs? Thanks, Sean. At the very least, Greg, they should be more competitive contests, right? I hope no question. I mean, I think, especially I think the Patriots at least defensively are at the point where they're going to bembo don't breaking play really good red zone defense against just about anything. You know, like I said, I think I really want to see what they do against the bills, offense, which has quite frankly been underwhelming. This year, partly because they don't run block very well, and they don't run the ball very well. But I think that the Patriots are so in tune to what they're doing and what they're good at that they'll be able to hold opponents down. The offense, you think is going to be able to run the ball and Mac will make enough plays in the passing game. I mean, I don't see them being outclassed by any teams. And look, they shouldn't be. They imported so much talent this year that it would be it would be an upset or at least it would be upsetting to patriots fans. If they weren't better, just because of the upgrade that they've had in talent. So I think they're much better at this point. I have no doubt at this point that they're at least going to play everybody close. I think they're still a question of will they make the winning plays to win some of these close games? And I think that's another reason why these next four games are going to be fun to watch because I think we'll get more data on exactly what the ceiling is for this team. I'm very confident going to the Tennessee game. I don't think the Titans can run the football. They've been without Henry the now two weeks in a row, they struggle, but they've won. It's been their defense that's played very well. Just looking at the Patriots secondary, Tannehill is going to throw the football. There will be no Julio Jones is still on injured reserve here, but have you seen anything different from Jalen mills? I know he had a pass interference tonight, but, you know, JC Jackson, we've seen Phillips, but, you know, do you see something like a difference in them besides maybe a pass rush that's really helped that secondary? Not really. I mean, I think that it's in my opinion, it's been mostly the pass rush of late that, you know, they're getting home more often than harassing the quarterback and even mccordy said tonight at the podium. He's like, on basically like all their interceptions, there has been some sort of pressure on the quarterback. And so they've been marrying the pressure and the coverage where I think earlier in the season there was no pressure. And I think we were asking for a while, like who else besides Matthew judon is going to generate any pressure and then bar more sort of stepped up into the breach, and he carried a lot of it, him and judon were far and away. The players were the most pressures on the team. Now I think you're getting a few more, maybe they've been able to identify some things in their scheme where teams had figured them out early on off of last season. And the last couple seasons and they've sort of, they've audible to do different things because I think they're getting more home more with pressure, whether it's Bentley or high tire or van noy. And so to me, I still don't know how good the secondary is that they're playing so much zone. Tells you they're not overly confident in the secondary and its ability to play man coverage. But if they keep getting pressure like this, they'll be able to cover anybody. More on the difference from Peter in Everett, your next year on the show's patriots postgame show. Hey, Peter. Hey, guys. Thanks for staying up so late for my call. Middle boy, happy to see weight loss. But I'm 7 as a tidal wave. They just push so fast up the middle, they're everywhere. 5 my question is to you. When they get down, the questions of Mac Jones, 7 nothing, ten nothing. Does he have the nuts to gut? To air it out. I'm not sure he does, because over the middle, I know he's been praised, but over the middle, he just doesn't it's slow. He's been good, don't get me wrong. But there are going to be games are going to be shootouts in the playoffs. Thanks for the call. It's a great question that Peter raises. And it's another one of those unanswered questions that we don't know about this team. You know, if you're a patriots fan, you're optimistic and you're like, oh, of course they'll be able to do X Y and Z, but you know, I'm more of a, you know, show me type of guy. Yeah. I wanna know, I'm not gonna just project it's easy for fans because they want to be on the positive side. So it's good for that. But for me, as somebody unbiased watching this team, I think, I think one of the big questions about this team is if they don't jump out to a lead, if they are trailing by double digits early, you know, how are they going to react how's Mac Jones going to react, let alone, you know, if they're in the second half and they're down a couple scores. Can he throw them back into the game? I think he can, I think there's some evidence from the Texans game, the cowboys game that he will be able to do it. We haven't seen him have to do it. And I think if they fall behind early, I think the Patriots are more of the ilk with this team to just stay the course, chop wood. We're going to keep doing what we're doing. We're not going to take any big shots. We're just going to keep going. The defenses is going to make a play for us. So the other team is going to make a mistake and we don't have to get out of our game. But that's another question that we could get an answer to in these next four games. And that's why, to me, it's so much fun looking ahead after especially after a terrible game like this about, you know, what's going to happen because there's so much we don't know about this team that I think we're going to learn a lot about in the next four games. We have three players returned today that didn't play last week. China Smith, whatever. About Demian Harris was fine, but when I would go to a chevsky he ran into a player, he led a punt bounce for a 62 yarder. He was three returns weren't great. I mean, was.

"So really, I mean, when you're getting ready for Thursday night, the defense is not going to get to Mac Jones by what we've seen. They're terrible on third down. And if the Patriots get in the red zone after what 5 for 6 day on Sunday, they have a great chance of putting 7 or at least 6 on the board. Maybe we don't want to take folk for granted, but he's been so good. And then, you know, offensively, it's Kyle Pitts or bust. I mean, they've got to hope that Matt Ryan plays out of his mind in pitch is great and Greg, I don't know about you. We've learned this about Belichick and he still does it to this day. Usually when you have one guy, especially if you're one dimensional, he will find a way to take that dude out of the game. So I've got to imagine that when Belichick is in the film room and he's talking to these guys and meetings, defensively, it's Kyle Pitts, Kyle Pitts, and then some more Kyle Pitts. Yeah, I agree. And I think your assessment from what I know about the falcons is right on. They don't block very well up front. It's too bad. I like Mike Davis as a running back. I like the way he runs. Yeah, Patterson, being out, he's probably not going to be able to play in this game is a huge blow for them because they at least gives them other options. And they use them in different ways, sort of like the Patriots did. You know, some time ago. And defensively, you know, they don't, they just don't have much. They're in like a total rebuild. I do like the kid and he was on my list for ask for the moon at the trade deadline. AJ Terrell, one of the cornerbacks on the falcons. Stud first rounder, he's going to get paid in the off season. I think he's in a contract year. Complete stud and a guy that if I was a patriots and I had any pocket change, I would look at adding in the off season depending on what happens with JC Jackson. But yeah, I mean, the Patriots should take care of business in this game. Like you said, everything is right up their alley in this game. And they should, they should roll on. And then it gets into the teeth of the schedule. And we're headed for some fun. We are. Let's get to the Boston sports channel dot com member question of the day, 39.99 on their annual plan..

"Three, two, one. Oh. My. Goodness. Good morning, good afternoon. Whatever it is for you, I hope you're having a fantastic day. My name is Zach Schumer. It's a strong opinion sports episode 400 and ten. Welcome in, I have a story for you. Guess what I did about 14, 15 minutes ago. I recorded 14 minutes of this podcast. And then realized that nothing was recording so fun. So great to be like, yeah, all that stuff I said? Try to do it again. I'll do my best. I got notes here, I'll follow him, but my gosh, it was going so I'm a dang it. I missed out on a really, really great take about just like, man, it's always harder to do it the second time. So anyway, I'm wearing my two with shirt today for obvious reasons. We'll get into that in a moment. I love it. It's really comfortable. And I am working on, you know, I'm not working on it, saying that now makes me realize how much I should make it. I should get a sponsorship for this shirt because I know who makes it you don't know who makes it, I don't think. And I'd love to ideally I wear their shirts every episode for like two months and they pay me for that. That'd be awesome. So I'm gonna try to pursue that sponsorship immediately after recording this episode. And we'll see what comes of that. Also, I got the weird thing off. You probably can't see on my hand. I've got the cut. What if it's terrible? What if it's like gross to people puke or something? I don't know. I got a deep I'm gonna have a deep scar, that's it. And that's pretty good. Let's jump in. I want to start today with a correction. Last episode, I was talking about the 2020 NFL Draft, particularly about the first round and the corners drafted in the first round. I said that falcons corner AJ Terrell.

"Basically saying. We trust mike tomlin. We don't care that your quarterback as a corpse. Yeah we don't it's it's it's literally we trust the logos of the steelers. Hell let's go. Nineteen seventies raiders. Let's just root for good famous old teams from the afc. Let's rock with it. The steelers deal is like they burst. Dave a writer mark Kabali biggest pronouncedly studies eighteen to twenty years last weekend. Cincinnati was single handling the worst game. He's ever seen them play and like. I don't think tom it allows them to go out that way. And they're so much better. When j. watt is on the field juju wasn't practicing earlier this week but the andre johnson was they get guys back on on offense. Packers haven't done anything to blow me away this year. I certainly don't see this as packers. Like thirty eight ten or anything. This is a classic we thought the steelers were dead. Maybe they can if they get a lead. Maybe you don't need a lot from rothlisburger nashi. I liked them. We're not gonna. we're not futterman. Last one is panthers plus one sixty eight over the cowboys. I like the panthers a lot more earlier in the week in the more i thought about this game looked at every every ever blind spot with a team. I just don't see it right. And i keep trying to think this is the week i think i just had a blind spot with the cowboys. I actually think they might be. Good if you go back and you think about the first three weeks that tampa game. They really went toe to toe with them that game last week on monday. They fucking killed philly healed and they have guys on defense now. Like parsons i think if you do if you do have you done a redraft on good morning football. Yes and he's in the top five because he he had city. He's unbelievable his ability to either be linebacker defensive end in the way they can move him around. Resume my son and five football. It's just like such such a weapon to have somebody like that like the ability to just move around the coaches like we need play middle. Linebacker play defensive end. I see a lot of mike. Parsons and my son and vice versa. Back on the second. Before i ask you though as you gotta give us the ben resume at flag football like what. It's on the eighth grade. I'm just excited. 'cause we we. We beat arrival today. I will say the rabat's but they they got shut out. Is what happened mike apart. My family hasn't my. My son goes to the same school as my daughter. And we never wanna banner and this may be my best chance not even in the team always. Football now is co ed. Soccer was the basketball team. Three straight years losses in the final. This is our one chance Kelly the cowboys two running backs both good like just always like they always have somebody good in their do stuff. Dax look fantastic. Really really psyched. That he came back the way he did and it. Actually there's some inventiveness with the coordinator. I don't know man. I'm just. I had the panthers plus one sixty eight. But now you think like no mccaffrey no. jc juicy It it i. i'm staying away. Here's a so the cowboys got defense overnight. And it's it really is overnight. 'cause the coordinators all the difference dan. Quinn has brought a whole different scheme. He looks great but literally mica and Zoo whose number ninety seven are flying both rookies and then trayvon digs might be their best corner who outstanding actually wrote about it provocateurs dot com the twenty twenty corner draft class is actually fascinating because there were five taken in the first-round okuda already gillies as anything for deputy detroit. Cj henderson was a top ten. Pick the jaguars. They trade for sixty cents dollar You've got our net in in Embroider the raiders who does not have any. Aj terrell falcons with the much much-needed in miami Who hasn't done much for the second round guys is jaylen. Johnson in chicago looks great. It's trip digs. Who looks even better than this christian. Fulton for tennessee. They all went in the second round. This trayvon digs is outstanding. And he's going to be a problem for teams the next few years. He's already got three interceptions. So you put those three young guys the new defensive game and you add in the old players like they haven't defense and that's all they need because their offense is great and they. It looks like they got four blue chippers out of these. Last two drafts. Yeah sinatra. i can't maybe even more than that. But i'd four for sure. Where's just like these guys are. Are we had ship starter. Calvin johnson on the show today for good morning. Football calvin is a man of very few words but he was promoting his football life on nfl network and basically asked like cousy young receiver. That you like like you put me on the spot like cd. Lamb of all the young guys lamb. He's like that guy special. does things like. They know the guys like that. They know and cd's just getting started. I think. I think that you could make the argument that yours. Carolina's defense it's great. This dallas team is pretty good and they should win this game. At one o'clock. I like that.

"I think in a year or two they're off as a line is going to be dominant. They have young guys like AJ Terrell, a young coroner, I stud Kyle Pitts at tight end. These guys are the future of the team in Atlanta. But quarterback Matt Ryan finds himself in a really weird position where he's 36. He can't wait a couple of years for Atlanta to rebuild. If Atlanta is good three years from now, great. Matt Ryan's gonna be thinking about retirement. So I don't think Matt Ryan has time to wait for them to get better. And I don't know that Atlanta wants to waste good years paying Matt Ryan a ton of money. I think Atlanta, this could be Matt Ryan's last year in Atlanta before they draft his replacement. They might keep him next year. If I were them, I'd try to trade him and because you want it cheaper, younger quarterback who can allow you to pay other people and build the rest of your roster. Matt Ryan's fantastic. I have no doubt that Arthur Smith the new head coach of the Atlanta Falcons is like, oh, hallelujah, thank goodness we have Matt Ryan. The last thing you want us to be a new head coach in the NFL and have a terrible quarterback situation. He's probably glad to have Matt Ryan. But when you look at the direction this team is headed in, they're young, they're rebuilding. I don't know that Matt Ryan is the long-term plan at quarterback for Atlanta. They're happy to have him this year. I frankly hope that Matt Ryan can get moved somewhere where he can win. If we Matt Ryan gets a bad rap, but if Matt Ryan were the head coach of the head coach, if not right where the quarterback for the new and the Patriots or the Miami Dolphins, we would be talking about how they are Super Bowl frontrunners. Like Matt Ryan's not a bad quarterback. In fact, in fact, very, very good. He just needs a good team around him, and the one time he did that, he led them to a Super Bowl. They lost, but he had the lead like 28 to three, literally. So I believe the falcons will go four and 13 this year. They were bad last year. They did not do enough to fix their team. They are rebuilding. And I don't know that Matt Ryan is the long-term plan in Atlanta. It's going to be a rough year, the rebuilding, but I don't know that that's necessarily terribly either. To have a good young core of talented players, they've got a couple of veterans that I think they're going to replace eventually. But look, it's a new era in Atlanta Falcons football and.

"Right now it's Kevin king, who is often injured and plays very, very inconsistently. The hope is that the guy they drafted in the first round Eric stokes from Georgia. I believe from George. I might be, I think Georgia, I know AJ Terrell. I don't know, I'm getting a marker for you. I've done so many predictions. Anyway, the drafted Eric stokes in the first round, and the hope is that as a year goes on, he will emerge into the starting number two corner. So far he's not the starter, but we'll see as the year goes on, that is probably the weakness of their team is that they have a couple of rookies on the offensive line. They have a bit of an unknown at the number two corner spot, which that's very little, but that's enough to say, well, hey, they're not quite as good as Cleveland, who is really deep and really, really good or Tampa who literally does not have a hole on their entire roster. But again, you're assuming Aaron Rodgers can make up for it with his immense talent. Remember, he's an NFL MVP, one last year. Now edge rushers Preston Smith and zider Smith need to bounce back that a down year last year. I do also wonder if 2019 first round pick rashawn Gary is gonna get in the mix and make an impact this fall. Currently, and technically, he is behind Preston Smith on the depth chart. Keep your eye on that. Will a former first round pick pan out? We're showing Gary and have an impact this year, getting after opposing quarterbacks. Now, look, on paper, this team is really, really good. Again, rookies on the offensive line. Number two corner, minimal concerns, but again, I just said it a minute ago. Your thinking that, hey, our veteran, MVP quarterback, Hall of Fame quarterback is going to get us over the hump and help us win enough games to get past the Tampa Bay or beat a Cleveland and the Super Bowl beat up buffalo, something like that. Now, you also have to wonder, can they get pressure on opposing quarterbacks? We'll find out. Those are kind of the weaknesses and the question marks of this team. There's not very many. This is a really complete, really good football team. The question is, again, can their NFL Hall of Fame MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers get them over the hump and beat a really good roster? Or this just be another year? So many years in a row where the packers have had a really good deep playoff run and fell just short. Is this a year where they get over the hump? Or is this going to be another NFC title appearance and a loss? We will find out, but I think it's very possible to packers win a Super Bowl this year. They are contenders. The question is can they get over the hump? And also, can they avoid injuries? Okay. Man, let's talk about Minnesota. This.

"Okay so we had the denver broncos to kick off the afc west and you know what i round just like their head. Coach would love to see and john elway. He's probably doing them favorite here. Big fangio bringing in that. Cornerback help to really try to help. Stop these potent offenses and quarterbacks that are in this division the select passer tan the second the alabama cornerback at pick nine and they did pass on the opportunity to select justin field. Who ended going to the chicago bears. Detroit at the new york giants at pick eleven then. Why would pat ser tan. I mean their quarterback situation is teddy bridgewater and drew. Lock not exactly inspiring. Hope for me right now but getting pats. Her tan is going to be a high floor type of selection but if justin fields ended up being a lot of people feel like he could be. This could be a really really bad swing. And miss even know pats tank could still be a solid player in this league. But it's a quarterback driven league. Everybody knows that second round. They go with devante. Williams north carolina running back third round. Quinn minors wisconsin. White water offers of gore and barren browning ohio state outside linebacker fifth round came stearns texas safety and johnson. Indiana safety six rounds at williams auburn wide receiver in seventh round. The at three picks carry in junior. Lsu cornerback jonathan cooper ohio state defense event and marquees spencer mississippi state defense man. To be honest. I really liked this draft. I understand that. They passed on justin fields. And that was their prerogative but they end up getting a really solid defensive cornerback. Who can lock that. Were help tempt to lockdown number one wide receivers and pats or tan. He is a number one. Type of cornerback. Released jesse to be not sure we will be that. You're one didn't seem like a lot of your one cornerbacks fared all that well. I think it's a really really tough transition. you could look at. Cj handwritten jacksonville drafted out of florida. Jeffrey okuda who was drafted to the lions out of ohio state. Aj terrell he had his ups and downs from clemson and went to atlanta so passer ten may not be a great year. But i think the sky is. I think the upside is solid with him. And the floor is really really high tramonte williams. I love this election. I know i'm not a big draft running backs high type of guy. But i loved monty williams. I love the fact that he is an angry runner who runs through people souls and their faces and watch the miami game from twenty twenty man. He is an absolute stunning. He's going to fit the personality of a vic. Fangio what vic fangio wants to do pat shurmur gonna love to run those inside zone. Plays williams does have solid vision. He can pass protect really well. And he's a solid pass catcher. No they had. Michael carter to do that at unc. He can do that within the framework of pat shurmur system and he can also just run through people's him. Melvin gordon are just going to be an aggressive downhill type of running team. They're going to love the inside zone of pat shurmur as long as shurmur gets a little bit more created that he was with the new york giants on calling those plays love. Quinn minors pick in the third round of wisconsin whitewater. Somebody held up really well down at the senior bowl is. I'm talking about him. A lot on this podcast and on all the podcasts that i do because i thought he was a solid prospect for d. Three guy but not just for d. Three guy when you go down to the senior. Do as well as you perform as well as you did against power five players when you did not play football for an entire year because he played at a smaller level at different positions positions. You did not try before and you showed strength that you did it. Just it just showed a lot about the kid not to mention his gravitating personality that people always seem to go towards because he is just very very inviting very very personable and had a lot of leadership qualities. So i think that's an excellent pick there. By the denver broncos barron browning five star recruit go went to ohio state did not live up to his high potential. I would say but he's somebody who's versatile who can come off the edge who can drop into coverage who is good athlete but he doesn't have to rely on right now which is excellent because you have von miller coming back and you have bradley chubb. You have this really really talented defense now. In the middle of your defense bear browning played middle linebacker. He played on the edge. A little bit. I think he's going to be a hybrid of that and probably not being a full time role just yet. But he can if he can develop the inside game a little bit more better his keys and stacking shed. He could earn that job. Will rally entered johnson. Love joji jewel. There josie jewels of really really good processing type of player. Fan browning is a much better. Athlete than someone like josie jewel but getting him at the end of the third round. I think is a solid move for the number broncos cain stearns athletic safety who has solid sizes aggressive coming downhill. -nother solid pick there in the fifth round. And then seth williams in like a big body guys going to struggle with separation quickness buddy similar framed courtland sutton was coming back from his injuries. And you need to kinda had a little bit of insurance because you want that big x type of receiver. Jerry jeudy who can play that role. But he's more busy more but moved type of guy with guys like caja hamler lining up in the slot. Tempera trick another guy who filled in really really nicely courtland. Scotland's had williams isn't going to be able to steal. Snap from tim patrick. But maybe he can develop into a solid red zone..

"Julio trade we talked about a little bit on the last podcast again. I would recommend to jason. Otc pod about the spot that the falcons found themselves in. But regardless what i've been doing is moving up all the guys. So i've been doing some drafts. I move up calvin ridley. I move up russell gauge i even take all mighty zaccheus. Sometimes if there's nobody else that i want in round eighteen. Because i think this deal is going to go down as opposed june one move. You now have cavalry. At the top of tier two wide receiver. Five behind only terry kahlil kendra hopkins step digs. Aj brown and i agree. I've been taking ridley ahead of decay. Metcalf justin jefferson keane allen devante etc. You could make a case. That really was a better pick than those guys anyways. But with the threat of julio leaving i mean there's just absolutely no doubt about it. So how are you handling all these. Julio rumors right now. I know you've been on the record. Thinking the falcons keep him obviously at this point. It doesn't look like they will Calvin really and kyle. It's both got big bumps in the rankings. Julio is down to think like wide receiver eighteen in large part due to the tea. We don't know where he's going to land so i mean. Yeah that's that's just. Sit in a matt ryan also moved down a little bit in the quarterback rankings but yeah that's second receiver job in atlanta like just taking zero. I'm all this would have made more sense if they had drafted ceedee lamb like they should've aj terrell in two thousand twenty but You know go cabins credit. This isn't hindsight. At the time. I remember evans saying they should have taken ceedee lamb like it was. It was a no brainer. This isn for them and we would. It would make sense. It would make sense for them to move on from. Julio but now they're just gonna take zero at at the second receiver spot. I mean and note. I mean although some teams do tight like too tight end formations at like a forty percent clip or your thirty to forty percent. There are no teams that actually have two tight end set as their base offense. So i so you're you're always playing it at least two receivers if not i mean and most of the time you're playing for receivers so i don't know i mean well it's not good. This is not good management by the falcons. It sounds like you're lower than market on russell gauge because a lotta people are really moving russell. Gay job in their russell gauges just like you know the fact the beneficiary of opportunities just being on the field i mean he's he's not out here making big plays and he's he's just got. Yeah no i mean i do. Think that if julio moves on and they don't add anyone else how you're going to see a lot of seven for sixty five from russell gauge and that's pretty valuable considering where he's going. Yeah i'm talking more from a real life standpoint. you really wanna. You're you're going to end up. Running out russell gauges as every down player like me with ten men against eleven. I and their running game has been so so so broken. Too so yeah. Speaking of the running game. Mike davis is thighs took twitter by storm. You've seen the pictures. Dude formerly known as ninety percents. Emc i was always my davis fan. I mean i thought he should have stuck around with a lot of jobs. But he's been just an absolute journeymen. He breaks tackles at a really high eighty catches the ball at a really high rate. He had seven games of five or more catches for the panthers last year. You know have him in tier four rb twenty two just behind josh jacobs ahead of kareem hunt ahead of myles gaskin. I mean i think mike davies could catch a ton of balls. If you remove julio's target share from the falcons here you start to Shift more around. Everybody including pits gauge. Zaccheus mike davis keeps looking better and better so yeah opposite thighs. Stuff is a joke. But i do think that things are trending in the right way for mike davis anymore thoughts on. I think that he could move up. i i think that i might move him up actually from rb twenty two and maybe even move them up to the end of the third tier or in david montgomery d andre swift ranch. Why why would he not belong in there. You know. I think. I'm gonna ended up moving them up. Yep amin such little competition for carries they have added absolutely no one all right. This one excited me man. I i don't to go overboard on this. But man i like the bengals i like joe mixon as a player office coordinator. Brian callaghan comes out. And says i don't want joe to leave the field and i think he's up to that challenge in other words more on third downs more in two minutes. People don't realize that. Even though geo bernard was not getting a ton of touches jubran was paying a ton of snaps. I mean most of the hurry up mo even crunch time i remember watching the bengals game early last year before mixing got hurt and it was like the guts of the game and they have to have gio out there because they were in the hurry up. It's like my god. You paid joe mixon all this money. He's so much better than geo but he's he sits on the bench because he's not the pass down back. I actually like starting drafts with mix in eker i at one point one one or one point one. Two starting mixing eker. I like that especially in full. Pr i actually would have mixed in ahead of cam akers. I'd have him ahead of air. Jones and i don't want to sound too crazy. I mean. I think that you can make a case for mixing the head of jonathan taylor. If you think he's going to be three back and the bengals offense is going to be. You know cowboys. Afc or whatever so. That's my bookcase on joe. Mixon i don't wanna get full three point nine inches year on joe mixing to go overboard. But i don't know man my too excited about this quote too late and sounds like now. I mean on paper. It looks good you know. It's it's looked good for multiple years here for joe mixon on paper and i i. I like that that rhetoric from the coaching staff. It sounds promising to hear. I like his talent. I like everything about his potential but he. I mean there is an element of you know. Have.

Brian callaghan thirty Mike davis forty percent davis eleven julio kyle last year mike davies Calvin josh jacobs jonathan taylor seven games Julio Jones geo bernard eighteen jason mike davis

The last game of cook the fall college football season. Let's recap it so not a good game. As far as i was hoping this would be a closer game and you just did not see first half i. A devante smith was amazing. Might i've versa. How say the game plan wasn't hey. Whoever is gone devante. Smith get somebody else to guard him with you and then get somebody else to guard them over. The top like does do need to be guarded. Like how did you guys not account for devante smith entire game. The guy had over two hundred yards in the first half and you guys only had a hundred and ninety the first half ohio state. How did you guys not account for him. Where was the defense shown wade. I'm sorry dude. But i watched your draft stock fall i saw with. Aj terrell last year in the playoffs with clemson against lsu. Like and. i remember. I had a coworker who is a huge atlanta falcons fan when they drafted. Aj terrell saying that was a horrible pig for where they picked him on nano they. They got a good corner. I'm like really. He got burned by. Lsu all we'll do you're right every day but he got worked against nfl talent and you drafted him in the nfl. So i don't know that was a good pick. But sean wade did not look good yesterday for ohio state and obviously holiday tonight. Look good on all. But let's just talk about alabama i. I'm just dominance again alabama. Let me you just go into them. Alabama is amazing seven national titles under nick sabin.
