"Every day most days, Josh macrey. Josh lot to get to today. Yes. There is BUSTER like I said in my previous video this morning on Twitter yesterday, kind of an odd. A only two guests Keith had to fill in at the last minute. We were kind of scrambling a little bit we through power ten in there. But today we are locked and loaded a lot going on today. So I'm excited about it. Yeah. Can't wait to hear from Deir Gould covers the Saint Louis cardinals for the Saint Louis post dispatch about that team, which might be the best nationally. We're going to be talking with AJ Hinch the Astros manager about a lot of the trends that are going on with hitters in baseball. I news notes. The Dave Roberts dodgers manager updated reporters on the status of AJ Pollock played as with AJ what happened last night. So the latest with AJ is is scheduled for surgery tomorrow. And they are going to take the hardware from plate. Whatever else is in there from his twenty six thousand surgery. So how it happened in Chicago bumped his arm hit his arm, his elbow? And there was a the Bursa infection was created. And so, you know, if it was if it was on his if he didn't have surgery. It's something that you can just treat with antibiotics, but the now when you're baking in the fact that there's hardware it's it's from prehistory infection. So that's the point of going in there. And so tomorrow, the surgery to take up hardware, the structure of the bone is is fine is in a good place. That's a good thing. As far as recovery. We just don't have a time line right now. And that is the bottom line Alana Rizzo with that question on spectrum sports net. LA the dodgers don't know for sure when Pollock will be back. They played the giants yesterday. They were down one on the top of the six ending Cody Bellinger came to the plate against Madison. Bumgarner runner goes on the ground. Got it. Bumgarner cover this time. Yeah. That was joined Keiper on NBC sports bay area. So is still one all when BUSTER Posey came to the plate late in the game. Swing by base. Duggar Taylor up crowing strong role in the slide. Ball game is over the win in a walk off on a base hit by BUSTER Posey and their fastest runner. Every bit of his speed to beat the scrawled swo- of Chris Taylor with the winning run. John Miller on can be our BUSTER Posey caught up with NBC sports, Barry after the game just like anything else, you're trying to fit you can hit. He's really good at the top of the own. I got that. When there there was a little little bit down. Please. Share your thoughts on Madison this evening. He's coming off a rough start with the Yankees. But he's certainly looked like he was back to form this evening. The best stuff inside all your. Seem like he was an attack mode all night, and hopefully more of that to come. Can you share about your bullpen? They've they've been touted all season as great, but tonight really putting their money where their mouth is pitching through airs and some rough spots in the game. Been obviously, really good all year and those guys have done such a nice job of being complete unit at the field and off the field and. It's showing up when they're out there on the mount last question. I know everyone is tweet, but you seem to be a little sweeter against the dodgers. You're able to take the steer the series in. What was it difficult home? How much does that shift the momentum for you guys had into Cincinnati definitely helps you know? It's seger. We haven't played well in Cincinnati..

"Not a place where the opposing pitcher bettas could just take a deep breath. All right. I've got a couple of guys I can work through here and get some outs. This is a deep line if that had some link to. Look back one strike pitch in Pollock skies. This one foul out of play off to the right reaches. The first row the top level where a fan dropped it. It falls down below to the club level the second level here at Coors field. Oh, a to count on AJ Pollock. Rovan to hear the dodgers went last night. Seger away from second bed essentially over now upright with the Senate and apologised bounce toward short. Trevor story gloves. Look Seger back to second. And he throws out Pollock at first base. And there's one away. That's chat is. Indeed in another good read there. We saw Cody Bellinger on second base earlier ball hit to his right? Got back to second base Seger there. And that's not Celtic. Just automatically happens. You have to work on that during batting practice. When you take your round, and you go around the bases there different things that you do each base. First base might be hit and run second. You're getting reads off the bat, you're looking at balls like that. So it's just training your nervous system to react when it's gametime. It's pretty cool to see these guys doing it. Right. Here's Bellinger doubled. And scored the second bettas delivers.

"Beat Cincinnati one to nothing today. Washington in a really wild one defeated the Phillies nine to eight I blowing a big lead and then coming from behind. Here's a swing of this strike to another slider from Derek Holland to Corey Seager, Colorado. Slumping and it's Florida road trip to start the season that got one run today. But that was enough they beat Tampa Bay one to nothing in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Tampa Bay on its way to San Francisco receipt to pitch in tight with a fastball after going away away away with every pitch that one inside. And it almost hits digger who was going to dive in the plate. San diego. Defeated arizona. Four to one Joey Lucchessi pitch another strong with help from the bullpen three to pitch. Oh. Wall. Forty just off the outside shaker had nerves of steel to take that one with two strikes and it paid off on. Two straight walks. Another slider. And this time. Seger judge that that was going to be off the corner not by much, but. The computerized did show. It was good call by the higher, Dan Beleno. So to on a run is in here is AJ Pollock. Pollock with.

"At one. Oh, six AJ Pollock one await Aaron Hicks. One twenty five dozen one forty six you're going to pick. Well myers. So go ahead and tell us, I'm not actually, okay. Wow. That is an upset. I'm I'm gonna take the guy. That's the latest ADP and the one who's got the longest track record of health outside of the injury. Shortened season in two thousand seventeen in Desmond has gotten at least six hundred plate appearances in each season since two thousand thirteen. Away. He'll run into the wall in center field. I didn't even realize what a what an injury riddled group. This was I age. Alex in it. It is it is three guys who regularly, and then indust- who's pretty pretty steady there as much as crafts on in Desmond. He's had twenty twenty season in five of the last seven years. It's really really stable production in the counting stats he still playing Colorado. Ian, Desmond is easy answer air. They're paying their playing. There's no doubt about that. Welch? What do you think? Do you agree with with just on that? When are you going to route? I mean, I think Desmond is definitely the option of these guys is good. I'm gonna leave. We'll Myers for someone else. Probably bopping talk because I know. He loves Myers. I will talk about AJ Pollock. I'll take. Hates politics. Would I I was trying to make boggling talk about him because he would just say I suck. I hate them to give thoughts on Pollick becoming a dodger. Now in what he can. Maybe do if they can sprinkle a little health on him because you know, they'll probably rest here and there to try to keep them healthy dust what PD's? But what should we talk? I mean, I think where we got with him in two thousand fifteen don't take that as expectation, of course. But take that is like a blueprint for where we're at. I'm actually kinda surprised that he didn't get the big dodger bump it almost to me. You could tell me if I'm wrong it almost felt like when the dodgers didn't get Bryce Harper people. Like, okay now, I can like chill out on my dodgers a little bit here because he's not going to come here and boost up. Everybody's value. I feel like a lot of dodgers are kinda undervalued. And it's gross to talk about is someone likes the diamondback tracked down a little bit. You've got Seger who's fallen back for obvious injury reasons. But I think Pollick is a twenty twenty guy. I know going around one eight, but I think because of the injury stuff people want to end up passing on him. And you get guys like Aloi Jimenez, you get Aaron Hicks. We can talk about you know, there's another guy that could passback Peralta might be going ahead. But I think Pollick is still a dynamic player. It's similar to Kershaw in the fact that like he's got to be on the field. And I know that's the big thing holding back. It's not the. Production. So for me, I've got a hard time falling off of players at the talent. Is there and the only question is injury. Where it's not like. Yeah. The production has really tapered back while also being hurt. That's just don't think that's the case. So I think he could be in line for twenty twenty in a prime spot with the dodgers competing all season long for the good average. So I like Pollock. Yeah. I mean, I feel you on that. That's basically one of my driving theories in fantasy is draft the skills when when they're even with health being absent and.

"Take on the patriots, airfare hotel and tickets. So stick around don't go anywhere that can happen at any given moment Munich times were thankful to have her today. Of course. And with baseball news. The dodgers Jeff passan our buddy ESPN insider will stop by. Now, I Jeff so AJ Pollock to the dodgers. I know last time you were on you told me that forget about Bryce Harper. So I have sort of I'm still very upset about this. But I've moved on sort of. But Pollock what do you make of the Pollock deal? Clearly, George you've moved on by the fact that you started our conversation completely lamenting DOD so exactly doesn't feel like he moved on very much, buddy. I you know, what I like the politial if AJ Pollock can stay healthy. And that has been a question through. Out his time in the big leagues. This is not somebody who for the last three years has played more than one hundred twelve games a season, and as much depth as the dodgers have they can deal with it. If he gets hurt and at twelve million dollars a season, the price was absolutely right. Because it allows the dodgers to stay under the competitive balance tax threshold, and that's something that they clearly want to do. But no, it's not Bryce Harper. And I if if your feelings on the dodgers are that they need another superstar in that lineup. Clearly, Bryce Harper was the person who you wanted them to chase this off season. That's just never been in their plans. And even if the price on him dropped, which may very well. I still don't think the dodgers as run by Andrew Friedman are the type of team to go out there and spend thirty plus million dollars on a guy like that. Now. No one hour, and I don't maybe a different story. You know, Francisco Lindor when he is free. Agency, Mookie Betts if he does Mike trout if he does. Yeah. Those are thirty plus million dollars a year guys who they can latch onto. But they don't see Bryce Harper in the way that I think a lot of other teams in the public perceptionist, which is someone who's one of the best players in baseball chance here. Right. He has been complaining about it nonstop. And it's really it's like, you know, like the guy in high school who wants the prettiest girl looked at me in any graduates and thirty years later, he's still thinking about it. That's George talking Bryce Harper three years from now it'll be lamenting that Bryce Harper was never dodger. I like this deal as we want to know were you the guy who was thinking that he should have gotten the prettiest girl and never did. And still thinks about her thirty years later. No, my wife's beautiful. So I already cheat. Some good. I want to ask you though about like the dodgers off season as a whole, I guess 'cause doors isn't alone. There is I think a sense in this town that why didn't we do more? This is our chance we should be going all in just spending like crazy, like how do you view the decisions and the moves made as a whole now that politics in the full? The happen done a whole lot. Really, you know, you look at the deal that brought Homer Bailey's dead contract and a couple of prospects. And they ended up shipping. Alex would feel queasy and Matt Kemp, you know, three guys who were productive for them last season out of town, but it sort of dovetails with the fact that the dodgers greatest strength is their death. And in the latest part of this in the part that I think that doesn't get explored enough is that the dodgers are in such a mediocre division. Right now that they almost don't feel like they have to go out and improve themselves significantly to win the National League West. And this is an axiom that goes throughout baseball. It's not just in Los Angeles. But if you ask thirty GM's twenty five of them are going to agree with it. And it's that once you get to the playoffs. It's kind of a crashing. And I understand that. The dodgers bullpen, for example, has been a great week. Nece I think signing Joe Kelley gives them a legitimate weapon..

"And maybe we could fold the answer in the same one year Jayson stark. But there's gotta be something baseball have the NBA. Everybody wants to sign quickly and the first week of July is huge for the NBA in the first week of March everybody in the NFL signs quickly or within the first few days, and it's huge for the NFL baseball has none of that. And two of their biggest stars deciding where they're going to go, and it's just like one big mosh pit where we're all sitting waiting around. I have no idea when the world's gonna change right. And I I think it's a real problem for the sport. Because you know, one of the things that's made the NBA especially with the NFL to. In recent years. Is there such star driven sports and in baseball when great players reached the market, they're not being celebrated. This is just agonizing. I wrote about it a week or so ago when Barry Bonds signed with the giants would it think of Barry Bonds. Now, they're -tendance went up by over a million. That's what stars do. And that part of the discussion has really been lost here. This is been a big battle of analytics and agents trying to to make history with their clients. And you know, there's just a lot of internal subplots that pushed this into just an interminable marathon. And I don't think it's good for them. I don't think it's good for the sport. It's not even going to be that good for the teams that sign a because they've blown through the entire season ticket buying period. And haven't done anything. Well, AJ Pollock is look like he's going to hook up with the dodgers. Jason does that mean that they're out of the Harper game or doesn't matter or can affiliates actually, still get both or the White Sox getting both? You know what I mean? Like, both divers I do believe that Bryce has waited around to see if the dodgers could get creative and this is reflection. That's not going to happen. But I think we've known for while it's not going to happen. You know, I think that Bryce winds up falling Phillies because they're the one team still left at a price point that they're interested in. But just not the check Khalas Denton historic contract. Price point many at least has options, you know, he still has the Phillies he sold the White Sox. I am totally convinced that there is a mystery team. And you know, I I tried everything I know in lavas had figure out who that is. But there's there's traffic in that lane. Bryce, I don't send a lot of traffic at the years in dollars. That's got bores has been looking for. So just hang in there, man. Yankees are out with LeMay, Hugh and tool wits though, right on Machado that that those those implicity weakness. Order ever say the Yankees are completely app because I do think many if everything else were equal want to be there. I don't know. What would happen if he if he came to them, and Dan Lozano and said, this is where I wanna be doing on your terms, it it it's probably too late as chanted too late. But if the Yankees, we've faith surprises many times a lot of people have marched up to the the podium trying on that Yankee shirt that you never thought would Ke's France in Cooperstown. When you look out on that that beautiful meadow. And delivering your speech Jason, which I I look forward to seeing next next summer. Congrats again, I love our chats. Let's do it again soon. Rich. That'd be really pretty good. You have me on. Thank you have. You bet that's Jayson. Stark at Jayson s t he's a must follow his information is spot on. And as you could hear his just a good guy who's who's made good in his in his career. You see what I'm saying? Like, I don't know what baseball can do here by putting a back end. Like when the when when they have their winter meetings in Vegas this time around an MLB network shows up, and they have their studio shows from there and all the general managers and all the agents of there. That's when we should see Harper Machado sign like right there. Let's get the big burst of December activity for major league baseball where we're all talking about it. And we're all fired up about it. Instead, we're just waiting around. We have no idea..

"This modern day major league baseball twenty nine hundred. You're not going through roster twenty seven twenty eight guys. You gotta have wall round the roster. Brodie van wagon and to his credit has made that a priority. Now have they gone the extra mile for Machado or Harper? I know some of you are going to say why not AJ Pollock is opposed to Jeddah Lowry. All that's fair. Even for myself because of the injuries. Mets have made themselves better baseball team. The problem. You may have though is if you see Bryce Harper back in DC new see, let's say Manny Machado in Philadelphia. Then you're gonna wonder how much of the good work that they've gone here in this season is to basically be I don't know. Still with the Mets, but the far better, and you're gonna not this general our remove. Here's my question here. Is he one of your three or four best hitters on opening that? Yes. Or no. In fact, we're going to go by the stats last year. Probably be the second best center in the melanoma might be the best about lineup. Dacca play. Two years twenty million dollars even though he didn't feel necessarily a position in aid. For me. That's a no-brainer signing. So you got a big high about a jets you've got an under the radar really good signing by the Mets, and it may overshadow what we have going on this weekend, which one of my favorite weekends of the NFL year. It's really the last real weekend football. You got the double dip Saturday double dip Sunday when it comes to the divisional round and five lopsided game. I don't think you do it out the surface. All forties games, a juicy. All these games are intriguing. It starts Saturday four thirty. As you walk. Any surging? Indianapolis Colts going into Kansas City to take on the chiefs the colts right now have an identity day are tough on the offensive line quarterback is playing great defense is coming on. And they're no food. They're legit scary contender in the AFC. Even though they will want to start the year f- achieves. We know what they are offensive minded team. It's about their star quarterback. Who's the MVP the league and the homes? It's about hill. It's about Kelsey. But he's we elect about Kansas City, the playoff demons and Arrowhead stadium. Haven't won a home game since the early nineteen ninety s in the postseason in that building. Despite the advantage. It gives them in a regular season where things happen to the chiefs and weird things happen to Andy Reid this time of the year. That'll be interesting to watch and how can Kansas City slowed down that coal running game and at chorale pounds on everybody. Then you got Dallas ride high. Going into LA take on Iran's Steve that fell on their face last year. When Sean McVay company had their first playoff game. Branch weekdays defensively stop at around. What is Dallas love to do it? Douse alive on the dog in this game. Dak Prescott takes care of the football. And the Dallas defense can throw some wrinkles Jared Goff. Not only do I think they covered a number. I think they can have a legitimate chance to beat the Rams. This is a four better match up. Then it would have been going down to New Orleans to take on the state. So Dallas in L is a fun game on Saturday. Then you go to Sunday gave it a week in my opinion. The chargers in the patriots. Because the chargers have the most talent out of anybody in the AFC. But Tom Brady owns Philip rivers Brady and Belichick on money at home. Come january. Let stadium. And it's not gonna be this year for Philip rivers. Then what? He's got best teams the AFC. And then a final game at a division around. Curious in. I'm sure you're wondering will the magic. For Nick foles continue. If the eagles go down to the by you. In the Super Bowl with that raucous atmosphere. At beat the New Orleans Saints that may just get the statue right next to Balboa ready for their false. He's already a call here on this down a win Sunday takes that to another level. The eagles all of a sudden have found something foles a quarterback defense playing better member New Orleans smoked of midway through the year smoke. The have the eagles closed the gap enough to not only keep this game competitive. But they're I say what our. That would be the most stunning outcome of the weekend..

"The main thing is the dodgers have realized we need to make a change. They clear out all the salary. And now it could be Bryce Harper. It could be a AJ Polly. It could be Corey kluber. Here's the big thing. I'm in the throw this out there. What's better to spend all the money on Bryce Harper. The big sticking point is Harper still wants a ten year contract. The dodgers don't want to give them ten years from twenty. How about we spread it out over like thirty years? Get a Bobby Baena deal Bryce Harper or AJ Pollock and Corey kluber. What is the better move for the dodgers Bryce Harper or AJ Pollock Corey kluber? Give me the second one is one as well. Because you know, we looked you get all they enough Bryce Harper kits. Great. It's sexy Bryce Harper will help sell LA even more now that LeBron is all the dodgers may not want to lose any kind of relevancy to him there'd be playing into the playoffs. Now, suddenly it could be a Laker town. Again, they want it to be the dodgers. I can see the allure of Bryce Harper. But the allure of him is better than the reality of him. He's a guy that's not one hundred runs a grand total of once. It has major league baseball career. He can hit two forty like he's done two of the last three years. He misses a lot of times the guy gets Hirsch. Now. The other part is AJ Pollock and Corey kluber. Yes. Pollick? Is at his injury issues as well. But Pollock is a really good outfielder and Corey kluber is one of the top three pitchers in all of baseball. And if you'd say, what are the dodgers need more a really great pitcher like one of the top three pitchers in baseball of Bryce Harper. The answer is Corey kluber. They have an opinion get four guys last year that couldn't play every game because the dodgers had their positions filled to get the rest of what Jason Smith. "Start to wonder are. In fact, the Mets going to make significant moves and all we heard about was the change in the big talk from Brody bandwagon and how he's going to go out there and build a winner. And even as recently as the Wilson romo's press conference. Somebody's got to inform me here with bandwagon. And saying we do what we say. And we say, well, we do. Well, no, that's not exactly what happened here. Because what I heard you say was that you going to try to trade for JT Muto. And instead what you did was sign Wolfson Ramose and the two aren't even comparable players. I don't care what offensive statistics anybody want throw up there. They're not they're not the same players. One is an all star catcher all around terrific catcher the best catcher in baseball in the problem of his career. The other is an aging bad bodied offensive at times injured player. That's number one number two. It seems to me when you step back, and I don't even care about van wagon. His comments about the Mets being favor to me Annelies. I mean, he shouldn't have said it. But what's he gonna say he's not going to say well team stinks? I don't think we have a chance this year. So he was talking to say why Steve Gelb said, you know, what I think internally we feel like we're the favorite twelve internally that may be the case externally. I don't see many people picking the Mets to win the National League east. I didn't love the Robinson Edwin d as moved to begin with for multiple reasons one they gave up all those prospects who they could've traded to re- to get real Muto, or at least potentially had them available to trade for Muto with the malls. Maybe would've liked him. Didn't think they had to take on or give that much to take on Robinson can own two. I don't believe Robinson can always going to be that great of an upgrade offensively. But let's say he is let's say always big move and D as in does the same thing. We know he's a big move. It's still the same stuff with the Mets just being sold to you in a different tone by van wagon who was essentially a salesman here enough with the prepared statements. Yeah. It was cute at first coming in talking about here. We're going to do this and do that and do this. Well, what do you what have you done? Exactly. I didn't think second base was an area of need. But yet that was the first position that they addressed. Yeah, they needed a closer. And they got one and they got a young closer was arguably the best in baseball last year under control. Let's hope that he continues that. No. I don't think you can knock Diaz will you can knock is the fact that maybe they could have got that deal done a little bit cheaper by take it on more of canot salary. They address catching situation where Wilson romo's. It's not real Muto. We should all know that. But they talked about wanting to value defense at that position. And that's not the case Walston romo's. So let's say he's still an upgrade over what they had. Which look I mean, I've played with guys in rec league's. That would have been an upgrade of what they had to catcher the last couple sees Mets catcher as long as the Knicks haven't been good. I mean, it's been forever since the Mets have have had a good catcher. But now the tandem is going to be Wilson romo's and Travis d'arno. No again. All right. I'll give you that. Let's say the upgraded the catcher, well where else has this team gotten better? Where have they gone out and been different from what they were in years past? And by the way, you're factoring in canola romo's, right? And you say, oh, so that's an upgrade in the line of. How can you argue? Well, correct me if I'm wrong, aren't they losing the production of as Cabrera. Who I mean play like at all? Miserable. Cabrera was an all-star. That was producing like an all-star. They also traded. Jay Bruce, just threw him into dump that salary. But Jay Bruce want healthy produces you'll losing nap production as well. Now, you can get it last year because he was hurt. But one healthy. He's a productive player. So can know and raw most is going to be that much of a difference over a healthy. Bruce. And is Jubal Cabrera maybe it is a little bit. That much of a difference. They still don't have a center fielder. And for whatever reason are not involved, or at least don't don't seem to be interested anymore. AJ pollock. What does he too rich for their blood? They can't sign AJ play case, Donna real center fielder. So they didn't get the homerun catcher and real Muto. I dare I even bring out Manny Machado or Bryce Harper. We know that they're not going there. They're not even in on AJ Pollock reportedly. So who exactly are they getting and Jerry's familiar with the big bullpen on that? They brought back. In addition. Obviously to Diaz familiar the big bullpen arm. They need another one. Not going to be Andrew Miller, and basically van wagon and said that was it for the big names in the bullpen so van wagon who came in smiling and talking big all he did. Was signed Jerry's familiar who was already here in one of the worst bullpens we've ever seen side Wilson Ramos. Marginal upgrade over. I mean, it was an excessively. And he brought in a thirty six year old Robinson off of eighty game suspension last year, and obviously got D as in that deal. The best movie made clearly is bringing in but he had to take on can do it. And he had to give up the farm in Kalmyk in particular. Do it. So what has changed exactly so trying to figure it out? What has changed? Exactly what demands. Because to me. It sounds like a lot of the same stuff last year. They did the same thing they spent on quantity. And not quality swore Zack in Vargas. And Bruce and Frazier and brought Ray is back. So what's the difference this year? Where's the big name? Where are the high end free agents? Where's pollick? No Harper Machado. What about Marlin Gonzales? And even if you didn't want to spend for the big big fish. They could have gotten one via trade with the Marlins to me, the three biggest names or biggest players on the or that were available obviously to on the open market one was real Muto. And who knows if he's even getting a trade at this point. Maybe the Marlins aren't gonna get would they had hope for him. But it's clearly Harper Machado and real Muto. And I would argue that real Muto would be the perfect fit for the Mets. He would be my number one target because he's a great value financially. And even if you had to give up Rosario in Nimmo to get him. You're still getting an all star catcher in the prime of his career. You can plug in another outfield. It's produce the way Nimmo does you can find another shortstop to replace the potential that you saw in a med Rosario. Forget about team control. Who cares if it's five years control? If the players aren't any good. I'd rather have two years of greatness than five years of. I don't know. He might be okay. What would you rather have him under control for seven years? I don't know how good is going to be. But we have motor control. Five years of I dunno or two years of this guy's a stud. So what's the difference with this Mets team as opposed to years past? I don't see it. I think it's a lot of the same stuff being sold to you by a different person in a different manner. And in fact, I would trust sandy Alderson more so than I do Brodie van Wagoner. Brodie seems like a great guy says the right things I don't want again, I could do without the prepared statements. I can't stand those not just him anybody who uses those, but he's made a habit of using those prepared statements, and they just I mean, he was he sounded at the Wilson romo's press conference like Isaiah Thomas sounded at the garden in two thousand four welcoming knick fans to the playoffs prior to getting swept by the new then New Jersey Nets. That's what van wagon and sounded like we say what we do. And we do what we say what you talked about real Moto. He talked about valuing deep bench at the position. And then you saw Wilson, rob. So what have you done that? You said you were going to do what did you do that? You were going to say, I don't know I'm confused by the whole slogan. Bottom line is they need more. I mean, do you want to you get a favorites in the analyst how so by default? And even that the nationals are being aggressive nationals have made some moves the Mets. They've gotten that much better. He wanted limited. The question Marshall wherever you eliminated. The question marks first basis guys ever played in the bigs before. Second base of thirty six year old coming off an eighty game suspension. All right. Let's say give you that question. Mark Frazier stole question. Mark centerfield. There's a whole time to question, Mark. So whole centerfield. You will host wait for says. But it's to come back and hope that every starter in the rotation makes thirty starts because they always do. I mean and the bullpen again. Even if D as in familiar or what they were a year ago. I'm not so sure that still makes that bullpen that much better to a point where you can trust them to win high eighties right now, I think they're at best. If everything goes well at best a low eighties team. But yet people are complaining about the lack of Yankees moves for team. That's going to win one hundred were the without Manny Machado. I don't understand it. Eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six Yankees Mets..

"Free agent center. Fielders AJ Pollock is the youngest at thirty one. And if you're into war two point five and Adam Jones is also out there. Young junior is out there Rajai Davis is out there. He's thirty eight Austin Jackson been there done that you've seen from him already around here. So the bottom line is AJ Pollick. And listen, he's the best of the free agent center fielders, but the Metropolitans they have to make more moves. Are you listening Brodie van wagon and lead? So maybe someday trades makes a deal for with somebody that is in one of his former clients what is going on there. So many like issues within the issues. Rick is called. From the now open and Rick you're on the fan. Rick. Rick. No, rick. Let's go to rich from Rick Richterich, rich. It's great to hear your voice. After the other guy Who Wasn't There. It's good to hear your voice. I think he's a mime. But anyway, Stephen, no, I really got to warn you about the Mets. Sorry. History of second baseman Juan Carlos by air. Sam well Sam well when he came to the mentioned Philadelphia in eighty nine. They moved him to center field. He never remember that ain't never played second base for the Mets, right? So. Yeah. Well, I know what you're talking. You're you're talking Carlos by Robbie Alamar. And here's another second baseman thirty six and every so far the most metropolitan fans that I've talked to on and off the air. He's gonna hit three hundred psych almost to give. I'm not. So sure, I'm not sure either. And you know, what I liked how they say the last sixty seventy games fan. But I like I like how much finished going young young three or four spots in the second base. And I thought they were gonna continue him direction. And I think this is they're doing making a big mistake. I could see getting the relief of the stop a Bucknell away. Well, I mean again, he may have an on the upside. And thank you for the call on the upside, maybe he's got another year or two of hitting three hundred. He's got a strong arm and listen. What he's lost? Maybe with range, I certainly instincts experience, but you know, thirty six and not. You wanna think that he's got another year or two as I say on the upside, you're think he's got another year or two maybe doesn't. But you could say that about anything that's kind of relative. But the bottom line is thirty six and we want him to hit three hundred right now. It'd be the best dinner in the lineup. And yes, you can make the argument that the match are better without Bruce. Without swore Zach and better with canal, and what d- as Michael is calling from oceanside, and Michael you're on the family. What's going on? Coming along. Mike, thanks for the call. Thank you for taking my call tennis day is that I'm not bashing Mexcio right away. Typical all big match band. And I just see this train turning out to be awful trade where Robert technology not play. Well, I mean, I know we're getting closer technically if you make the deal, but. But one thing that you can do out there in the fringe market. It's getting closer. Bullpen release help. We have to give up a way. Critical and valuable asset II young asked him most likely it's gonna it's gonna be another just another rule that anybody in the leak and can use laughing because that's we are right. What does the move represents right now, it seems like something that that the metro typically do and that we're going to you know, whatever whatever little bit. A little bit. I don't have words for it. No. Yeah. No, no, no. You're doing just fine. We understand let me ask you this Mike before I let you go. And again, I think go what do you think is more likely to happen? Canot hitting three hundred or D as recording. Another fifty seven saves. Oh. Bang three hundred million times to one over. Right now familiar with best closer to three years ago right now. For nothing. Yep. Well, that's. Thanks a lot my well. That's the thing. I mean, we're all thinking I've listened echoes gonna hit three hundred and the closers going to record another fifty seven saves with a one nine hundred seventy IRA. I don't even expect Sigua to come back with one seventy RA. I don't buy Lau Opie. Does of course. But I don't expect him to do that. Again. He had an historic season. You don't have historic seasons every year. And the bottom line is in Guam gives up another Ron per nine innings and his A R A is to seventy he is still an all-star and still worthy of being considered for another Cy Young with two seven. I'm just saying if it was two seventy. And the bottom line is I don't expect to have the same kind of season that he hadn't twenty eighteen. It was it was a historic in so many ways, and you would like to thank God forbid, the Mets might score more than a run forum, maybe more than two maybe more than three God forbid more than that. What Ben is calling from Long Island band. You're on the fan was happening ban. You forgot to star second baseman. What about the other guy that went to the giants? I'm not talking about. Jeff, ken. I'm talking about. What was the other guy's name is good for about two or three years? Outstanding second baseman for the Mets. I don't. Played third base too. Got his name for the for the Mets you talk. Yeah. But you forgot Ken Heinz. We all saw. And you forgot Jeff Ken. All right. And can't did not hit and all for the Mets. Yes. He did. He he was like he was like turn up. And then when he went to the giants, you became a home became a big home run at. Guy's name that the Spanish guy any any was traded to the giants. And then he petered out. I forgot his name. I can't think well in any case. You know, when it's going to come to me on the way home in about ten minutes. Right. Right. But he was real. I don't know if you was so much a second baseman third baseman. But the mecca that quite a few good ball players. You know, that maybe if they you know, if they had Jeff Jeff Ken, I mean, Jeff Kent went on be like what what are the. The second and third leading home run hitter of all second baseman in the history of baseball. Well, I think he's number one as number one. Right. I think he's number one with the home runs. And then they are, of course, be is the leading home catcher for home run. That's correct. Right. Right. But I just wanna say what other thing, let's see. The Mets the Mets match you're gonna where you were. Would you going to say with Graham what about him? Oh, yes. That's what I wanted to say. And I don't care what you. You can't you can't do that. You gotta be very careful with the language as specially on a family program like the one I have did you get that says do not come out. You got to be careful with the language. He meant no harm. No foul. No hard. But nonetheless, you we can't allow that Pablo is calling from Dover New Jersey. And Pablo you're on the fan was happening. Oh, I know who he was talking at Garda well fund so comeback. Oh, yes. Anyway. Anyway. Go ahead Pablo. Think about it. Brodie pettit? Way too. It's bad. Fan have. Well. Yeah. Unfortunately, I hope we have a chance to talk a- of their closing music. I'm so sorry. I'm honest. I hope we have a chance to talk again and much longer. You will be given. What's the time? Thank you all for listening. And thank you all for calling. And again, we'll I'm sure have plenty to talk about Monday with the football. And maybe a deal that is finalized with canal Andy as coming to the Metropolitans again. Thank you for listening and calling and says, thank you on the other side of the glass coming up as Marco Antonio.

Only one run but, had to come out of the. Game because he had thrown one hundred and. One pitches did not have his total sharpness with. His commanding made a, lot of big pitches Got a little help from his defense Only allowed the one run here's, a breaking ball off the outside slider MS badly wanted to even, that slider that was to feed outside and Pollock was flinching I think just the pure power and velocity hitters. Gotta be. Ready to make that decision so fast A lot of pressure on the hitter, against Ray black one to swung on admit strike three he went back with the slider and he got him. To down Now what. He threw that was in the strike zone.
