Biden slips into political quicksand amid Haitian migrant buildup

"Starting off the show. Tonight we have a discussion about joe biden. Apparently he's doing more deportations than trump specifically deporting more asylum seekers than trump did well. Yeah we don't have the other categories of deportations as the numbers that That we came across. And it's a shocking number. I don't know the entire number. But i have here the us Moved over six thousand. Haitian asylum-seekers from the border at del rio so that's just haitian asylum-seekers just recently with you know the whip's did see that. Oh i saw that very scary stuff. There was ice agents. I guess they're ice. Sported patrol agents. Scroll on horseback whipping people catalyst. Yeah like cadillac. Wrangling them with whips and hitting them with the long whip. It looked incredibly frightening and in and scary to be in that situation with a bunch of armed men on horses attacking people who are just trying to escape the hellish life of living in haiti. And do you think the biden voters expected this to happen because the people on the left like biden love to position themselves as the friend of the immigrants they acted like trump was the worst for immigration and right immigration. I mean right. When joe biden got elected like somebody. I know got a deportation letter. Just and they're telling him oh. It's been a lot worse recently under biden. They told him that his friends sorry like his friends. That like is also a legal immigrant. Types may know some other people like that well according to the same place that you're looking here. It's says twitter account. Aj plus they're citing cnbc saying that biden is using what's called title forty two to expel asylum-seekers without a right to a hearing so you know what asylum is right. Yeah when you leave somewhere that is you're gonna die there or they're gonna put you in prison for the rest of your life or thereafter you for for whatever reason and the numbers here are just shocking. According to cnbc under trump and remember trump had four full years. And we're not even through year number one biden four hundred and forty th over four hundred. Forty thousand people were Were expelled under this title. Forty two during the trump administration and six hundred ninety thousand have been expelled under the biden administration under title forty two so that's a tremendous level of increase because if if biden is able to keep up the same amount over the next three years. Yeah he'd be like twenty four hundred weight. It was six hundred ninety thousand right now so yeah that'd be well over two million people well so you know that is just absolutely horrifying because these people if they are indeed being prosecuted or persecuted. They're going to be sent back to likely their deaths or likely to a prison cell. Yeah it's probably worse for you if you try to leave and then they find out about that absolutely it is. Let's see there's other story here from cnbc biden. Administration appeals judges order. This is from less than a week ago to stop. Expelling migrants under trump era pandemic policies. So there was a judge who said they need to stop using title forty. Two and biden is appealing so this is yet another example of how joe biden is more like trumpy than the trump haters thought. That trump was like people hated trump for all these different reasons and biden has continued trump's policies and crank them up. Yeah my friend. Sent me this weird video of biden today. It was him when he was younger. You know he. He's always been in government office. So i don't know what his title was at the time but he was being interviewed. Probably a senator or something. Yeah and he was saying he was saying. What do people think. I care more about bosnia than haiti because it's white people in bosnia and it's you know black people in haiti and then he just went on and said well if haiti sank into the ocean. I wouldn't care just like that was his answer to that was like what is that supposed to mean. Well i'll tell you clear what it means. It means he has no empathy right to say that about another an entire group of people living somewhere on the planet to say they just if they just all died one day he would have no concern whatsoever for that and you juxtapose that against what he says while he's running for office which is to make himself seem like this all caring. Oh the democrats we care about people that's clearly. Bs tel aviv From penn and teller thought he was going to heal us all with his love. Is that what taylor said. Y- you read that on the show. It was numbered teller's lider new saying let pendulum but tell her was going along with pen from what i could see. So presumably teller didn't disagree otherwise he wouldn't have been in the photo op. Yeah just mixed them up. Sorry according to the story here. Cnbc biden administration appealing. A judge's order to stop using a trump era pandemic policy that allows for the rapid expulsion of migrants without giving them a chance to apply for asylum. So they're using covert as the excuse. The departments for his just cove it. That's why we had to have horseback riders with the because of it. It's just you covered. The department of justice filed an appeal of district. Judge emmet sullivan's ruling thursday bars. The federal government from expelling migrants under the public health law known as title. Forty two sullivan. The ruling to go into effect in fourteen days the appeal is the latest move by the bided administration to address the twenty year high surge of migrants from mexico and central america crossing the border illegally which remains a political flashpoint between republicans and progressive democrats title forty two is first introduced by donald trump in march of twenty twenty over concerns about the corona virus pandemic. It gave the government the power to turn back any migrant caught crossing the border illegally regardless of their country of origin to supposedly stop cove nineteen. So if you had managed to escape from north korea and you made it to the united states which is no easy task. Mind you. it's one thing to get here from haiti or guatemala. Or duress or something. It's a whole other story to get here from north korea. But if he'd managed to and they caught. You did it cover. Nineteen you gotta go back to north korea and you back to north korea where you would certainly either be put into a hellish prison labor camp and then of course all your family members have probably already been put into a prison labor camp. Because that's what they that's how they roll over north korea. If you try to escape or you do something bad. They punish your whole family for it. So you know you're going to prison and it's going to be like the worst possible prison labor camp experience basically on the planet right now if they don't just go right ahead and just summarily execute you but this quote from a man at the border a haitian man with two children. NFL Wide Receiver Rankings 2021

"Football is right around the corner today. We're going through our consensus wide receiver. Reggie everybody likes wide receiver. Don't they wide receiver right gang. Judge go this is a big one guy. You can win your drafts with a lot of these wide. Receivers that we're about to talk about even if you drop them round one and round two and round three. Yes you certainly can. But we'll get to some. They can get much later. That are going to provide a lot of value in two thousand twenty one year. Yeah i can honestly say that. The one draft strategy to draft chinese. I've never taken a quarterback around one. And i have not taken a wide receiver in round one of any of my drought so far even super flex even supervise just getting. We just got some breaking news on sleeper that darryl henderson was injured in practice not return man would that be a huge injury to the rams funk season is funky town yeah davy jones. One of 'em jake fog or just a staffer. The woods cup higby season all adds to a man there on. Oh i hit. He's not gonna do me dirty two years in a row. That was a a when you're saying he is buy his jersey. If you finish for you. Oh i think i have to. That's too bad center role egg. I mean i. I don't own for that would be the economic shared the name first letter of the last name. I think it's a lot gusting at speaking injury. In preseason at all the things what are some preseason thoughts on wide receivers anything standing out or any injuries standing out anything. We should be on the lookout for as we get closer to the season. Starting all it's been kind of interesting like if you go to. Espn and just look. At the wide receivers. Half of them are listed as questionable. We're still a couple of weeks away from the season. So it's not overly alarming at this point but there are some injuries that are more alarming than others. That will get shortly. But let's start with our top wide. Receivers are we have devante adams tyreek hill stefan big calvin ridley the andrea hopkins and aj brown rounding out our top six. Which one of these guys do you wanna talk about. I think we could talk about devante. Adams tyreek hill. Just be as. I think i flip flop though is at least thirty times this off season gone back and forth between the two especially with rogers coming back. I don't wanna put davante adams at number one. You know contract year roger. They're going to go the big last dance. He's going to have all of the targets that he wants think he can get two hundred targets in a season. I don't but i think he's going to pace wide receivers when it comes to target. So i have devante adam just my number one. As well i think the touchdown potential. He is the favourite to lead the league in receiving touchdowns this year. Aaron rodgers coming back. That chemistry is as good as any quarterback wide receiver in the entire league. Yeah i had tyreek hill number one until aaron rodgers. I made it official that he was coming back and then davante adams shot right back up to number one. I have devante at number two tyreek at one. Like i said i flip flop all over but even as projections. I have devante adams at one hundred and sixty five targets. And i think that's conservative to be honest. I think it is still i. I got about one seventy five. Yeah i don't think he comes anywhere near two hundred I have team range. That one one sixty one seventy i. I also kind of a little bit worried. I think this offense could be worse than it was last year and cobb amari rounders are two factors that they did not have last year. That are legitimate receiving options. I do think that devante adam. I'm not gonna say this. I think he could actually Kind of disappoints fantasy owners this year. I'm not projecting it that way. But i see the path to it happening this year. Unlike in yourself.

LA Dodgers Beat Padres in the Longest MLB Game of the Year

"The dodgers held the padres hitless from the sixth to the fourteenth inning. Basically a nine inning. No hitter ramona. And the game had everything else. Besides though hitter and everything i mean i like i feel like i need a day off to recover from that like i literally watching a lot of the game then i was like you know what i gotta get my workout in. I'm gonna go for a swim. And i'm gonna try to come back. It'll it'll you know. I'll come back for the ending and then it was another two hours. After that i went for all workout swim and came back was still going like that. Even the last two innings were ridiculous. Weird things happened. So many yeah. Aj pollock was the hero again. this is how. Aj basically ended it in the sixteenth inning. At one o'clock in the morning to canada's appalled deep center the dodgers actually had taken the lead in the top of the fifteenth. Fernando with the weirdest homerun. You may see all year. Hit the ball to right field. Chris taylor leapt up to catch it off his glove and went out for a home run. That tied the game three and then. Aj wins at five three. Same two teams tonight in san diego max scherzer on the mound for the dodgers as they go for the sweep and the padres are on life support now. If the season ended today they'd be completely out of the play offs and they still have to play with in the remaining thirty five games left momo the giants ten times

"My name is aj wolf. And i run a media. Company one of our websites and youtube channels and everything is associated with disney food blog. Okay when and how did you get into this. Two thousand nine is when this particular site started. We have a few other sites in our company. We started those a little bit earlier. She thousand nine was the beginning of dfb and it was mostly because back. Then people weren't really talking about food at disneyworld in disney parks. They were real focused on rides. They were real focused on. You know all of the rest of it but there was almost kind of a stigma about talking about food. People didn't want to be known as as folks you really cared that much about their theme park food. But i kind of wanted this site to exist in. There was another site called. Wd w foods where this couple would just go to disneyworld a couple times a year and put up pictures of their food. And i thought this is great. And i kept refreshing. That page hoping that they'd go back to disneyworld than so you're all i want this to exist. Then there must be other people who wanted to exist and so i started the site for that purpose. There are lots of people who wanted it to exist and we can see by bass following. So what do you think. It is about disney food. And who's actually following people who go to disney people who fantasize about going to disney. So i think it's a little bit of everything and yeah. People are super interested in food at their theme parks for multiple reasons. I is that you're going to spend a ton of money on it and at disneyworld specifically you have to book your restaurants really far in advance especially those really expensive really popular restaurants. It used to be six months in advance right now. It's sitting at two months in advance. But you figure you're gonna probably spend more money on food than your per ticket than potentially even your hotel and so this could be the most expensive part of your trip. Why would you not want. You wouldn't just arrive at disneyworld randomly. Choose a hotel like you're gonna research you're gonna figure out what hotel make sense for usa. Why wouldn't you do the same with food. And i think that the people who are following people who are big disney fans and love disney and are going to disney all the time and also people who are brand new to disney and just have no idea what to expect. And i hope they're following because it really can completely change your trip if you have planned out where to spend your money on food especially if you have allergies in your family or picky eaters or you're going to be in certain places. At certain

"I wanNA. Do Asia is really focus on today's topic, which is going to be all about how to pivots in persevered, and these are two things that have never never been more important than this post cove in one thousand. Thousand Nine hundred world that we live in for sure there's a lot of pivoting going on. There's a lot of persevering going on and guess what fire nation if you are falling short and either of those categories, you are gonNA struggle, but if you are just thriving in both of those, then you can be thriving as well so less with your background AJ. Who the heck are you? Where are you from? And then what? The heck got you here to this point today? Man. I'm actually from born and raised from Philadelphia Pa. Living in Maryland and I kind of started my entrepreneurial journey back in two thousand seventeen <hes> when I started going full time on developing <hes>, the social media at that I'm now pushing. Right now called Clara. And what club really does is just help. You feel more connected to your surrounding community by providing our users with a way to connect with locals in the area and discover things to do in their community as well, so let's maybe talk quickly about club, because I am curious like how you initially came up with this idea like I love talking about the Aha moment like that poor in like why that happened for you and then also sure just like one or two. You think are kind of cool case. Studies of people that are used Clovis excessively for one was actually sitting in the king of Prussia Mall. Near Philadelphia, it's it's massive mall and I was in the food court, and I was just people watching day, and it was around the time back in two thousand fourteen, when instagram started kind of picking up traction and twitter. We had snapchat as well and I was thinking to myself. Why couldn't I why can't I I guess? Hone in on a specific location and connect with people in that same location as me almost like a hyper local platform, so that's kind of how I thought of that idea of. Like. I want to connect with people that are in this mall right now. Correct correct and I was like you know this could be a great way. You know if I'm in college to meet New People at a party. That might be super crowded <hes> it could be used at a networking event or even at a sports game, <hes> just just to connect with people in that same location that you're currently that that was the goal. Is this for businesses to? Because like what kind of POPs into? My mind is like I'm walking into King. King of Prussia Mall and I get an alert on my phone, says hey, not sure if you're hungry if you are for the next ten minutes, we're going to have fifty percent off. Pretzels over at pretzels are us in like I would just be like well. I wasn't actually that hungry. Until you just kind of maybe think of Pretzel in my mouth so here off I go. Is that like one of those things that could happen? Man So these businesses can create a location based <hes> announcements or promotion so to speak so when users. Don't into that specific location where their promotion is located in. They're going to collect it, which means that you know if you did walk in through that King of Prussia. Mall Front door. You collect every promotion that that business in that King of Prussia. Mall's currently promoting. So you know we offer that that I guess easy transition to discover discovering things to do in your surrounding area and active promotions in your surrounding. Surrounding area from from local businesses located around you and the one thing that POPs up in my mind is kind of like a potential user is at what point is overwhelmed like walking into a mall and there's a hundred and twenty four stores and get one hundred twenty four promotions like a one point. Is that just become like spam mail that we all get our inbox? That is a great point, we actually. Actually plan on fixing this issue as we start to grow, and we're GONNA limit the amount of promotions or announcements in specific location, so it's going to be super exclusive. Obviously we would. We would have to charge these businesses more, but as of now we're just trying to get businesses inside and and willing to promote

"The producers and I go over my answers again. There's concern about one of my fun. Facts the one about uh how Coca Cola used to contain cocaine. The lawyer doesn't love that one. One of the other facts has stood with cars. I ask should I make reference reference to you. Get a car and you get a car. The producer says now. In retrospect that was a good call. There's a closed circuit. TV TV in the Green Room. And I watch oprah come on stage and introduced. Today's topic to her audience her very adoring audience. They applaud at the the end of almost every sentence she says. Will they be kind to me. Then I noticed Oprah isn't in quite as jolly mood as her audience when the cameras aren't rolling Oprah is all business. There's a glitch in the teleprompter. Let's get this fix. Six people. Come on she says we have a full day. I realized she didn't become the most powerful woman on Earth. By being a pushover. I retreat into the green rooms bathroom. Close the door and say my lines until the mirror. Aj Aj here one of the producers calling with amid of panic in the voice choice. My segment is next during a commercial break the producer escorts me down a hallway and onto the stage. The segment Sigmund is about to start. I sit back in the black leather chair. I feel the hot lights I sent. The audiences is on me me but I don't turn my head hoping tune them out in the chair facing me is Oprah Winfrey She's wearing a white sweater. A Brown plant skirt Anthony High Beige boots which she earlier told the audience where highly uncomfortable uncomfortable. My mouth is as dry as the Atacama desert in Peru annual rainfall less than a millimeter. Oh looks at me she can tell. I'm anxious you got this. She says which is a lovely generous thing to say. Hi and which only makes me more nervous since I don't want to let her down or annoy her. And we're live OPRAH OPRAH INTRODUCES ME and starts in on the burning questions what is best. She says it's everything but the kitchen sink. I say it's got got bits of clothing and plant matter and insect parts and lots of human skin. Humans shed one pound. If he's a year okay says Okra. It was a flat. Okay not an enthusiastic. Who Okay it was an okay that translated to that's fairly interesting I answer a couple of other questions like where does fat go when you Lose Weight You breathe and pee it out. I'm trying aim to keep the energy up as instructed but I'm also on autopilot. I'm seeing the lines. I've said so many times before we cut to commercial. I do a self assessment. How's it going? Well it's going okay. I haven't embarrassed myself. But I haven't hit a home run by any any means Oprah and I haven't bonded. She seems aloof distracted Unin gauged. There's no hugging Oat bran. I sit awkwardly on stage Oprah looking off into the distance. She's humming pop up above Baba Baba Papa Mate. She's humming humming at that moment. I decided to do something bold and terrifying before I tell you what it is. I need to back up for a second to give you the context at the start of the show. Oprah invited the audience to ask burning questions about Oprah herself the most memorable question was Oprah Oprah. Do you ever far during the show and Oprah applied let yes she sometimes does fart during the shell and when she does breath sheahomes attuned to cover it up. She sings a little song. So they're oprah is in front of me during the commercial break. Humming distractedly tiddly. It is the perfect setup. Should I do it. I look at Oprah and I waive my hand in front of my nose as as if to clear away and odor roof Oprah. I say.

He'll tell us what it's like finally getting to the big leagues and how he's adjusted to life in the bullpen then David Feldman and I talk about a lot of the a new as additions including Hey seuss Lazardo and the as scheduled down the stretch and a potential tie-break scenario in the event of a three way hi for the wild card all of that next on as plus today on his plus. Our guest is a as lefty. Ha puck up in the major leagues for his first time first of all aj how are things in the major leagues what you expected or has anything surprised you so far yeah you know everything's been great experience and I'm happy you're happy for the opportunity. are you is since you're in relief now and you're you're in the bullpen. are you able to work on anything or you. Just kind of trying to get your work in as much as you can because you've got these little more downtime than you're used to yeah you know you definitely every day. You know you know. Expose your sense. my Tommy John Surgery. I try be as focuses. I can be during catch and work on things. You know you know feel mechanics and everything and make sure everything's working right. How much of an adjustment is it being in the bullpen for you. I mean you've been a star your life yeah you know. I mean just you know when you come up the bullpen. GotTa have have your stuff right away. There's no known anything or two if I was starting like if I'm not feeling that day or something I could figure it out. You know just go to the radio right away. That's about the only difference I think how would you describe grabbed the whole process of coming back from Tommy John Surgery. Obviously it's something nobody ever wants to have to go through. You get hurt during spring training of last year but it. It seemed like you came back in a pretty good time like you. The progression you followed was pretty much what was expected. How is it from your viewpoint. yeah you know it's it's definitely a long long road. you know just he's got to keep in mind. you know that the doctor put something in your arm. That's not supposed to be there and and it takes a while for it to get used to and you know. Just take it slow and there's worry about your gauzy. Rehab at the time. It must've is to bend did did you. How how long did it take before you realized something was wrong was there was something where you felt it right away or we tried to pitch through something that Spring yeah yeah I know something happened gradually over time and you know just kind of like a little discomfort here some days it'd be are then other days. It'd be God knew something was up and just kind of tried holding onto for as long as I could until I thought about just what I could pitch a whole season like this so that's why I spoke says how when you started throwing again. Could you tell right away the difference once you once you were healed that you were back to full strength and kind of that discomfort was completely gone yeah that's probably took a little while since after can start talking about six months and even even their workout you know the little pains and just get used to and destruction and having to get used to your body thrown own again but I started feeling really good about probably say I don't even know let me I finished a couple times. After hitters you know you throw and then be Kinda sore and then but I always had recovered pretty well and UH fourteen months fifteen months is when I was like all right this is I'm sorry feel back to normal a little more free and easy than it happened before the surgery and aw that's great now you obviously had drill cotton. Kinda went through the same processes at the same time as as you and plenty of other pitchers of course have had Tommy John Surgery. It's almost common Tom and at this point was it helpful you kind of going through that with. Terrell and you know a few other guys who knew the whole process yeah definitely now we had a great a group of Guys Don Arizona Raspberry Discount Nice having someone go through the same thing with the you know you don't you don't want that to be the case but Stephanie Nice you know aspirin I hate when you're at this point zero film like this and like all right in cal- relax then obviously you wind up on Rehab the Simon and you work your way back in your Las Vegas. How was how are things for you Las Vegas. What was that. What was your how. How would you say your season went considering. You're coming off a pretty major surgery yeah no the thing is every outing that I had coming back was the know something bill off of like I was his high fell during this games with my pitches redoing these make adjustments or trying to feel it out to try to get back to what would would you feel like now you and seuss's Ardo Sean Murphy. You're kind of a core of kind of like the next group of a sort of top prospects to come up kind of you know a little bit like Chapman Olsen Pinter. Those guys were sort of the the group just ahead of you having all three of you here. You know in a few other guys that are you know sort sir around your draft class. What's that like for you. Get kind of like a few. The future is is now or certainly. It's coming kind of feeling. When you see all of you here yeah you know it's it's great having those guys up here especially Murph House within through to them a lot especially my first full season as always mayhem on and then I got to know this other pretty well during the spring training some Israel was Miss School to see all these guys come up here and you know hopefully we can help contribute team a little push and Susan coming up during a playoff push. What's that like because it's not you're not just coming up and you know the team isn't really playing for anything. There's obviously a lot play for yeah. No it's definitely exciting time to be around here. everyone comes ready to play and ready to go out there and get a win in and you know to help us out wildcard and you know it's just exciting and every day's than group is your roommate at one point right. was he a good remain. I'm angry. Are you a good roommate. How did that go no. I think we're both pretty good. She left us together brisk good thanks AJ AJ. "So now now he's got this moment where he gets a match with aj styles two of the best wrestlers on the planet going one on one at t l c and i think both those guys are going to realize that had something to take advantage of okay so fim valor now has a match where not that many people cared about it before now everybody cares about it where it's a match we've seen before now it has the potential to be the best match certainly on the paper view if not the best match of the year end there is no doubt in my mind the demon finn ballard is going to beat aj styles that way better than beating bray why it i really think that the demon is going to be a j styles and i think he should i think did aj is at a place where he can afford the loss if he loses he'll be able to bounce back and he'll still be the best thing on smack down if not on the whole roster if thin bali loses to aj styles i think a lot of people start to really lose faith infant down i don't think he can do a loss right now uh and and it's a raw payperview you know coming off that payperview on monday we want finn ballard to look strong on raw we'll figure out aj on tuesday you know we did this we we did the the roman reigns and an an bray wyatt substitutes within forty eight hours at will figure we got forty eight hours to figure out aj styles after the payperview that's not going to be a problem we don't even have to mention we don't we can get to smack down and we don't even have to mention the demon match if we don't want to get as a whole separate thing going on over here.

"If you're a wrestler and things like that managed a matter to you buildings usally matter to you only a wwe superstar can wrestled at madison square garden so it's almost like one cheered there it's a reminder of all olea i've made it to wwe in for a guy like aj styles that it is has to be a thing kind of never thought would happen and i think he said he never thought it would happen so the idea that now not only as it happened but he's winning major championships inside of the building at live events is just incredible and you know i like uh i kinda like what they did with it on smack down if you listen to the recap podcast i was under the assumption that and i guess i was thinking to basic the gavin owens would come out and he take title back from aj styles on smack down and then they would uh had into the paper view but it's become much more complex at one point it seemed like the inevitable match for summer slim was gender mahal verses john seena but with battleground only a week away and we know john seen as match is with roux says not aj an age as matches with kevin allen's not john seena it kind of feels like if aj keeps the united states championship a battleground we may see an age a john seen a rematch at summer slim and i'm not against it wouldn't be the craziest thing in the world to see aj versus johnson a one more time at somerset and the brought the house down last year.
