"Because i was the only black so we're really stacked against me but i didn't care anyway of course when a coat says that's shit all white team majority kids be like. Okay i'll play guard then especially when a coke says that with conviction but me. That's not how my mind works. My goal is to prove and they see a wrong no matter what. That's what fuels me. So i tell the coach. We'll see about that. Knew what the coach booked up. A deal was put me at back in practice at the last fifteen minutes a practice everyday just so with sons could take the rest of the day off. Basically he was using me to fill in empty space innocence. I didn't care whatever was given to me. I took advantage of that shit. I played every snap last fifteen minutes every day as if it was a real game so to follow a week. Gametime wanted to coach. Sounds got sick. Couldn't suit up. The coach had no choice but to put me third string went back in the only black hit on offense. It was split backfield but the coach. He was calling a place for his son. Use me as a decoy. But for some reason busy he could run your shit then fade into being fucking gave me the ball. My first two runs touchdowns both rounds for like half the field by the end of the game. I scored like five. Td's long story. Short i was started following week. The brothers the entire team all white and the coaches was pissed off but they had no choice. Win games go to championship coming last place. Of course win them over with personality and play. We wanted a championship loss by td but everybody was happy so anyway. My first year i quickly realized it was a lot of bucks ahead of me. That was also good. I pretty much had to wait in line to the got bumped up the varsity. I knew my opportunity wasn't evitable. I said to be patient so my sophomore year. I got moved up to the backup running back. The guys ahead was well deserving the spots they were to start as a my freshman year understandable. They'll be started for the sophomore years. Well we'll talk about that was r. j. v. squad was undefeated for like ten straight years. So if shit wasn't broken no need to fix it. One thing about being stationed in japan overseas as we say kids. They're usually between two and four years then to get stationed elsewhere. Meaning another base. I can tell a turning. Point was coming because a lot of starters were having to leave around. Same time usually is like a trickle down effect. One starter leaves here starting leaves there but never a lot of starters all at once. I seen a perfect storm happening. Once in a lifetime event or rare occurrence all the start is leaving positions needed to be filled coaches scrubbing when the next great joe montana air dixon to take the spotted last great players who had the same attributes and to keep the panthers undefeated dynasty intact. So i knew when my junior year came around those running back positions ship be open game. I shouldn't have to wait. Just go in tryout win must bought and be the starter for varsity years. Every high school extreme. That's the path icy and nothing less. I just had to somehow getting game but sophomore year. To show varsity coaches who were always watching the db plate to see their next great prospect for the varsity team and on top. All that trying to a depth charts. I had to fight off the stigma of being a deeper but first year. Because i got the opportunity to be the major movie called drifting classroom which led me to become a teenage movie star in japan at the time that i want to become a move star. Hail to the null. I got lucky with a side order of fate. My goal was to be an nfl..

"Wow geico fifteen minutes could save fifteen percent or more and all right so the rams new logo is out there and it has been met with a bit of mixed reviews duty to give it a little time to see if it grows on people along the way but one of the guys at the front of the the line that does not love is Eric Dickerson yes that Eric Dickerson. He tweeted the following yesterday. Rams fans I reviewed your comments regarding our new logos in sharing your disappointment. All these speaking with the rams on our behalf please like it if you prefer the logo on the left in retreat and re tweet to vote for the logo on the right. There's a couple of logos that he has. Their one is The new logo. That's kind of a composite of both the RAM head and the L. A. Logo. And then the other one is something that are rams booster clubs uses that's a little more cartoony and Aram. Kind of a snarling. Ram going in at it as well. We can put the which one you like better aside for a second kid Eric Dickerson. Who's a hall of Famer one of the great? La Rams of all time can Eric Dickerson be the guy that gets the rams to reconsider this logo well. He has more than fifty thousand followers on twitter. I believe some communications that he's had on twitter. You know got up to like twelve. Thirteen thousand lights a handful of Retrace retweets so I don't know a social media driven world. Those numbers are compelling enough to get franchise to change I think it depends more about whether or not they agree that maybe this wasn't the best effort and then a US. Ed Dickerson is Kinda covered to make some changes? But I don't know if he can change their mind if they already feel. This is a good idea for them to do yeah. I don't know how this works but I would imagine that the to change your logo in the NFL. It has to get vetted through a million different people committees eighties in the League office and everything else and once they start making uniforms in peril and all these things. Can you just decide? You know what upon further review? We changed our money. It doesn't feel like he could be as easy as all that no. It doesn't and it probably isn't because you got to think about ticket production and and I mean there's there's a lot of things that go into producing logos across the board promoted team heading to a season so as Franz concern either. They're going to stick with what they already had been years past. And just call a Mulligan or they're gonna go with this And I also think they were overstating how bad the logo is. I couldn't agree. More part of this is just shocked that his cage. There's a change that no-one elites what's what's clamoring for but it was an opportunity for them to make the change separate because of the new stadium but next year this time if we're still talking about the logo it's only because the team was awful. That's the I I think once we see it on a uniform it's going to feel very different and I think it's GonNa feel a lot better if the mockup or something similar to that we saw on twitter the other day about the new. Rams Helmet is what we see on the field. I think people are going to like it because that looked fantastic. It takes the best elements of the new logo. I love the new colors in the new logo. I like the stylized RAM head in the new logo. The one with the word of the two letters. La With the horn. Come on look. Is it my favorite? No but it. I think it's the eighty percent of the reason I don't love. It is because it's brand new like you said it was e given a season or two with whether it's the Patriots new logo or whether it was the new logo that the Broncos put together you know when John Elway was still playing it takes a moment to look at it and feel that doesn't feel right and then all of a sudden you can't even remember the old one without really giving it some thought and trying to remember what it was in the first place it just takes time and I think when the Ram store to win in winning winning but if they continue to win I think you look at it and then you say okay. They made a chain. The good thing about it is the colors. Went back to what we remember as Los Angeles Anaheim Rams team the other colors that they came with from Saint Louis had they changed that logo into those colours than I think we still. We probably are scratching our heads even more now Eric. Dickerson obviously is not very happy with the logo and some of the fans that he spoke with aren't very happy with the local either. But that doesn't mean that the rams are gonna all of a sudden in change and I would never believe that Kevin off would go in and say Okay Eric. Dickerson said this and we're going to change. I don't think he's going to do that because I don't know that. The Rams organizations weird as it may sound respect Air Dixon at the level where he has that type of influence because if you had that type of influence she would have reached out to him to begin with to talk about what this logo should look like whether it was Jackie Slater Eric Dickerson. Henry Ellard any of the other great ram players Nolan Cromwell. Anybody Marshall Faulk any of these guys that we ran legacy guys you would certainly say. Hey think about this logo. But it doesn't sound like to me that that happened whatsoever by Kevin Dim often the rest of the rams what is Eric Dickerson. Look as if he's still good. Eight hundred arts. He looks great. Because you'd probably eight hundred yes there. It's not on my. You know he might be able to give you a few games and breakout hundred yard gain still here and there was some mills bull. I think the the the plan was okay. Just real quick the best rams running back in history or is that still faulk. I'M GONNA go only because yeah you know his coming out of the backfield with such a weapon for him and E D CA. Catch you know you look at his career. Twenty one hundred yards receiving so it wasn't like he had steel hands or anything but I mean come on. Who's better between Dickson Marshall. Yeah different very different different type of backs if we're playing if we're playing twenty twenty football. It's it's folk all day long. If we're playing nine Seattle I would say he would say that. I wouldn't say really twenty football. It's like that because I just saw dear Henry just saw a Zeke Elliott. Just seen powerful bags do some stuff. Dixon was glider perimeter guy. He had diesel hands. If I could remember maybe not Marshall faulk skill set as a receiver. But I'm sure if you ask E. D. He tell you a knock and do that. We just did what we did. We ran the ball thirty five times. I mean it's just a different. You know these conversations always come up about. Who's better at this is. All systems is all tiny. Is All who you wit? That's why want to always have these arguments with people they don't seem to get the only player in NFL history. That I've seen with my own eyes. That is definitive best at that position. There's two guys that I've seen my own is. One is an outside linebacker. Change complete game do is a wide receiver Jerry Rice and other than that. You can tell me about all these quarterbacks you want you can tell me all about all the other receivers all the other linebacker. The put those dudes. They were different. I doubt we'll get into the wide receiver part because to fund digs. Put something on twitter. Yesterday that I think's really interesting talking about the greatest wide receivers of all time. And I'm with Yuki. I thought that was a no brainer for Jerry Rice. Maybe not. We'll come back to that but coming up next take it or shake it on the morning show on seven to ten. Espn let's start in the NFL. We've been spending a lot of time talking about the quarterbacks specifically Jameis Winston and Cam Newton and key according to will Cain Jameis. Winston has a more upside than CAM. Newton. Let's take a listen to will value proposition by is that you're going to buy low and.

"United for L. A. Dot org slash pandemic relief. It was it's funny. I went out yesterday for a walk. After we're done with the show just kind of get out. Get a little fresh air and it was interesting because the neighborhood wasn't filled with people but there are people out there people taking walks in every time you'd see somebody come down the sidewalk you kind of pick aside and get really wide as you pass each other and I don't think that's GonNa last forever but I had a moment walking yesterday for thinking you know. What are we done when you see your neighbor you stop and you shake their hand or maybe you give them a hug or whatever it is? Are we done with that for good? Is this kind of the new normal? Not that we're GONNA social distance by eight feet but the just the unnecessary touching that out the window. I've never really been real touchy in the first place. So so you're good. I'm okay with that when you see your neighbors from before you know I always give them the Calabasas wave. Just put my hand up with a nice gentle high and keep him in donate. You ought long. I'm a hugger so it's GonNa be tough for me to go to a place where I don't reach out and touch familiar face. That's just as just the way that people who are really close to me. No I usually agree with Hug and a smile and so the notion that I'm not going to reach out when this is all said and done I mean to save lives. Obviously yes I would do it but it will be harder transition for me all right so yesterday we saw. What was it two weeks ago a month ago. Something like that. A leaked tap that we thought might be. The Rams New logo thankfully what we saw is not the rams new logo. They did release their new logo. Yesterday I think most people have probably seen it but what it is is it's a white. La and coming out of the top of the A. is a much more modernized. Stylized Ram horned the kind of wraps through the middle of the A A and it it. It's Vodka Tive of what we've seen in the past with the rams horns but it is definitely a new look. We've seen a much more stylized RAM head with the yellow the gold horns wrapped around and much more stylized skull. The rapid stuff. What did you guys make the Rams New Logo? What a show. Okay that says a lot to get all that actually. I don't like it me personally. But that's just me. I don't have to weird I don't have to be associated with it at that level I talked to the original logo. The one that they came back to La with the one that they left with I'm just not when it comes to certain iconic franchises. I try to keep everything the same you know in in it just. I don't know it looks like it will be overly critical. It just doesn't doesn't hold against the old one let's put it that way Or you know you and I travel. We talk when something was leaked. And I told you in reminded me of that World Team Tennis Organization as an Orange County. Call the breakers moving on the. Yeah there for second. I'm GonNa you know it's funny so I thought I'm going to be honest. I Wanna I sound like Oh okay the more I look at it. The more uncomfortable with it and the more it has grown on me. I didn't love it at first. I like the RAM head. I liked to. It's the the ran had itself. I think is very very cool. The RAM head. I think is something that you're GonNa see on a lot of hats and t shirts and things like that. I think that looks pretty slick. What more does not be on the side of the helmet though? That's why I think I need to see the uniform to see because I don't need it saying L. A. With the Ra- I don't need no much going on RAM head and I don't eat L. A. Much. I think the helmet should be the horns. We'll see the uniforms are going to come later. But I do think when we see the uniforms. That'll kind of all bring together. I don't like the La with the Hornets because quite honestly the horn the way that stylized it looks a little bit like the chargers lightning bolt which I don't think you want it to look like but generally speaking I think when it all comes together if that RAM head is prominent. If that's kind of thing that we go with more and more often and as long as the the helmet stays relatively the same. I think he's going to work out pretty well. Why do you need to change though you know you? Moving into a new stadium to Dallas. Cowboys didn't change. They moved into a new stadium right. I mean when you when you look at some of the. I can't conic franchises. That are out there. Yeah they altered their logos but the New England patriots was not an iconic franchises prior to Tom Brady and Bill Belichick surival. They've gone to the super bowl super bowls. They lost both of them. They had the Patriots Guy with the what was it. Three point stance guy. Was it three point. Three point stance guy but it's the New England patriots where the Green Bay packers on the other hand. That's been the same got the G. That thing has been like that as long as I remember. Well there are some certainly have stayed the same for ever and in most of the other ones though if we're being honest change fairly frequently but they do change and they get up dated and they get modernized and I think this is the way that the rams are doing it and if you are moving into a new stadium it does feel like the right time to do it. I love the colors that they picked. I know that they're described it. You know you look at it right now. And it's a soul and rams royal or the two colors that they're using and but the colors are right liked it. That gold has gone. I like the blue and the yellow. I think the colors are good will see with uniforms. Look like but the more I look at the more it is grown on me is in particular the rams at the colors. I like the rams old colors. 'cause I can envision Air Dixon running in that in in you know Vince for gown will drop them back and planning at Coliseum or playing in Anaheim stadium so the colors. I like that. They really didn't change them. I mean that's basically the throwbacks. If you want to say that are so. We'll talk to the Fed. I'm just curious about the fit. I'm just curious about the actual fit of the clothes like to me if the fit of the clothes. Nice and the fabric and materials that is made with. It's nice that will overcome any disappointed. You may have with the logo. Our where some gear? If it looks right. It's it's fitness right but if it doesn't fit right and I don't like the logo then. I got nowhere to go Sebastian. Joseph Day will be wearing that new uniform but will be wearing that new logo. He is gonNA join US next. We'll talk about the telephone. That's coming up but first let's check in with Karen Kay and see what the roads look like. Travis convergency you test and not GonNa Sigler the types out the right at the fifty five. It's across the to rewrite lights. Traffic is jammed from Grand Avenue with Senate and a boulevard this report sponsored by H and R block. There's a lot going on right now. More than ever people need their tax refund. That's why H&R block is open with many ways to do your taxes safely as possible. You can drop off work with the tax pro remotely or file. Online block is always here to help. I'm Karen Kay seven ten. Espn all right. So we are underway with our elephants here in southern California. The Rams of course are driving this. Abc Seven seven ten ESPN role participating. In this will give some more information as well which means that every single show today here on the station going to talk to a rams player including ourselves joining us right now. Is Rams Defensive? Tackle Sebastian Joseph joining US Sebastian. Good morning how you doing today morning more. How you guys doing how y'all doing good man. It's early top of the morning man. Well we're Kinda wake up and Glenn badminton just because you don't mean you're running and lifting already know man. I'm up early. I'm ready to get your your workout now that you've got this little bit of Downtime. There's no OTA's off season with the team way or you conducting your business in the off season Well actually before you know Everything has been going on the whole corona things going on. I've actually been At the facility Working with our strength staff no Well now our strength staff but following are following our protocol and Just working out there because I feel like I'm most comfortable there and I feel like Oh you know whenever I need some sort of help with anything you know that the guy who just a strength staff that we have they're just be right there in You know break things down from Eli easier But since you know That happened ironically. I was at a week at Mamba last week. That pass with Aaron Donald and You know everything's closed now so now. I'm just at home and do homework outs. So what exactly are you doing at home? I mean because you know. I'm complaining because all I have Peleton pushups but you require more to stay. Physically is safe. So what does the things you're doing Honest having gone onto that is Obviously you know I have weights weights at home Push ups sit ups I go through this at some Something actually really fun. Aaron Aaron Donald accidents some too so We go through the DECK OF CARDS RIGHT AND EACH CARD. You put down. He goes to the deck of cards. Each card. You put down you got push ups situps and and squats and Base cars at twenty two aces twenty and Jokers are fifty so. I've also been implementing that it well workout so jailhouse workout. That's Okay Jailhouse. Got You got to stay on the road so yeah joining us here on the morning show at just like you said that the idea of being outside the idea of not being able to go to the gym not being every workout with your teammates. Obviously you're doing everything you can to keep your body in his good shape as possible but the rams have a new defensive coordinator as well. What's it been like? Have you been able to to to talk to him? If you've been able to talk to anybody about the new scheme that might be coming. Can you get a jump on that? Even though everybody's in a different location I've been able to talk to him and Been able to you know. Ask them questions about the scheme and whatnot. And I'm super excited man. You know he's a real. You know real young but you know sharpy they come you know. reminds me of a run mcvay honestly so funny It's crazy you know sharp young guy and he's hungry. I'm this real excited to get actor coach. Now that you look at what this defense a staff looks like. You haven't had much time to spend with them. But a lot of guys on the defense inside the ball have departed whether it's brokers Matthews Fowler. I mean these guys are all other teams are are gone from the rams. Now what do you think this makeup will be? How do you think you guys will jail with the new staff and new players involved.

"Slipped right out a little bit brownies other than me. But I feel great and I've got a lot and and sugar so we have a great show for you today to the chargers me desert planning for life after Philip rivers and. Why is Tom Brady so frustrated he is Not Happy Tom Anymore. And we ready to Crown Look Donncha yet but curse. We're GONNA start with skips cowboys who are coming off a big win against the lions despite right only forty five rushing yards from Ezekiel Elliott. Zeke has underwhelmed this year after getting his payday before the season started. Elliott is not in the top five in rushing touchdowns or rushing yards through the first eleven weeks of the season for the first time in his career so Shannon. How do you explain plane? What has happened to Zeke? Elliott spill. Believed that Zeke of top. To your back. I just can't believe that teams are saying basically skipped you in order for the cowboys to reach their ultimate destination. You're going to have to see more of that press. Got Doing what he's doing. Because I still believe that teams can go back to analytics and just like the analytics that all these be the pro football focus and then everybody else use these teams half stats and analytic guys also and the analytics stats show. Is that when you neutralized Zeke that increases your opportunity or your chances to win against the cowboys. Now what we've seen is that teams have started to take Zeke away. EVAC is playing better. But he's going to have to do that for an extended period of time. Because there's Zeke has gotten into the League they've been run. I when Zeke Ron Wales Bay win and so that you're going to have to see more what we've seen from Dacca gets the last Detroit in order for them to be successful moving down the road when you look at these tests. And they say Zeke is twenty four scale factor in guys getting fired because all you have to do with average like six little over six carries a game Zeke of the guy that a war your course backs of the poor nets the Christian. McCaffrey the callers. Hide the our children. Zeke Elliott get like night. He's left four point three now unless you Barry Sanders or Jim Brown for Port Three. You laugh at those guys around five. Everybody else does in the four point three. That's a damn good rushing average. Let's give you remember. He was just slightly over that the year he got suspended and still led the League in yards per game. So does that's where he is now. Last year six rushing touchdowns this already seven Dow free good and his skill. You like told right. Now I don't know most overrated overrated stat in football except in fantasy. Football is the one yard touchdown. Oh I remember that next time you say. Tom Brady has three of those on his resume. And a football game or my favorite break here. You get look. Zeke is. Zeke is a bail cow back but he doesn't have and I think what you've been seduced. Do you see Christian McCaffrey. UC saquon They Bang Bang. Bang next thing you know. They are fifty the off sixty yards. Leave it's really never been Zeke since he's been in the NFL. As I said his rookie year he had four runs or catches of forty yards or more and then he went one one right now. He's currently at zero. So when you really look at it I think you keep going back to what he was at that Ohio State. I haven't seen that since he's been in the league. Naseem the guy that rush for sixteen hundred yards rookie year and was on pace to probably do that. Ah a little better. His second year led the League in Russia but skip. It's a big deal now. You just elite league in rushing every single year and I think people are starting have a false sense that okay. He led the League in rushing his first two years. He just got a new contract. We'll just do it again. Air Dixon did not lead the League at rush and everything only Jim Brown deer or seemingly let it like eight of the nine years that he was in the league. He's eighth and yards rushing this year. Eighth scale do you not really running the backfield. The thirty two teams So I'm not concerned. And because Jason Gary said. UCLA steals stacking the line the week before. Jerry Jones say everybody and they mama knew that they were Minnesota. We're not gonNA let Zeke Elliott ruin. So that's where you are and if you're GONNA win your guy if you skip bayless if your orgasm what you said he heals. Zeke should be inconsequential. Don't eat any meat about a fact bridge Vegan Star Tony Policy. That what you should do if you so often. Often it Ezekiel trash washed up like you said put Tony Pollen in the game. So I'm going to repeat what you're opening remark quote. Yes but I'm going to preface it by reminding everyone Ezekiel Elliott is now by far the highest. Paid running back in this game. Ezekiel Elliott just got fifty guaranteed million dollars to sign. You can't take it back. You can't cut it. You can't get rid of it. Fifty locked in for Ezekiel Elliott. And you just said I still think he's a top Tier Bat. Do really talk about damning with faint. Praise north do believe. You know what I'm going to. I've been saying this for a month and I'm going to double down right here right now because I am not not seeing what you're talking about and just to qualify myself. You're in the pro football hall of fame. But I learned my football from Bill. Walsh Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson and even Barry Switzer who perfected. The college wishbone and was as great at at gearing. The running attack. Anybody I've ever seen so I know a little bit about what what to see and not see on a football field and I am not seeing that. This is about eight men in the box or defenses. Geared to stop Ezekiel Elliot. Because I'm going to remind you. Zeke led the League in rushing as a rookie. When all they were doing was putting nine men in the box to stop easycall? La Because nobody thought Dak Prescott could throw it a bit. When he was a rookie? All he did was went offensive rookie of the year. But maybe it was just. Because of Zeke then Zeke second year. He led the League in yards per game but he couldn't lead in rushing he would have but he got suspended for six games then his third year which was last year he. He led the League in yards rushing. He dominated this league for three years against defensive coordinators. Who Made Zeke the number one priority? Nothing nothing has changed. In fact I believe that I saw the Detroit. Lions who ranked twenty six th against the run going into the game. I saw them backing off. I was trying to count count men in the box as best I could from TV which is always a little hard to do because it flashes era. But I didn't see that much aid in the box because I saw Detroit Roy Defense just plain straight just playing coverage because it is clear they have now morphed the Dallas cowboys into a passing football team. We'll give to your point if you telling me that the Dallas cowboys teams are GonNa Play Z.. Coverage and not. Drop that guy in the box within. Maybe yes okay all right so something which about to get to is very wrong with Zeke. Because he looks very different to my eye and look. I hope I'm wrong about this. I can't tell you because week after week. I keep saying okay. This is the bus game. This is the one where he just bounces back. And says I'm still Zeke. Elliot and all I see. Is that the fifty million dollar. Man is giving us a lot of by his standards. Fifty cent Games because those last two games or FIFTY CENT GANG MINNESOTA. That's twenty four forty seven against Minnesota and we know what happened at the end of the game. When I bleed Jason Garrett said put the ball in Zeke's hands second to from the eleven Zeke nowhere second to third and from the eleven zeke minus three? Then throw it Zeke on fourth down incomplete complete. I hope you're right about this. That he's still Zeki Lillard but this is what I'm not seeing from him. I'm not seeing him attack. Defenses offenses with that rare athletic arrogance. He used to have in the first three years in which his body language set up. Just better than y'all you know what's you you know what the word right. That's that's what he said. I saw a guy who played with contagious rage. That turned into this this this sort of runaway joy when he kept reaching the end zone in which he jumped in the Salvation Army Pot or the whatever you call cattle and I used to see a guy who would just explode up into the defense with the greatest body lean. I've ever seen of any back ever Jim Brown anybody nobody Eric Dickerson. Just just fierce body link where he exploded with. Sunburst up into the defense was an all-time breakaway back. We ran four. Four Lorde the combine. That's pretty fat. That's fast enough to be a breakway back and now I don't see that anymore because you look at what he's doing in ten plus yards yards of Russia's this year going for ten or more he's eighth and twenty plus yard rushers. He's tied for thirty second he doesn't break away anymore. Nobody's giving memorable who is this has been an NFL. Like I said you got seduced by looking at especially the last four games over his sophomore season. Okay with the Michigan Big Ten Alabama an Oregon. So so he's not been best since he's been here and again I'm a psycho cowboy fan Take it way too seriously and sometimes personally but I live and die for these Games Games. And so I'm all over it I'm just absorbing every little nuance so the game. So what did I see against the twenty six defense against the run. The lines defense. They ran Zeke on first down. Eleven Times in that game plan. That's a lot of I down runs. That are going nowhere. And I'm like pulling my hair out. I'm pacing by I floor because what happened on the first one. It went for one yard. And he fumbled. Okay I'll give him an occasional fumble but he went eleven times. It averaged three yards. Carrie which is not good enough in the last four runs. When you're trying to kill the clock and keep the ball away from Jeff Driscoll? I'm sorry I'm saying this publicly. But they could not stop. Stop Jeff Driscoll. So the last four runs Zeke. They try to feed the beast. Eat zeke eat killed the clock. They go for two yards two yards. One yard zero yards yards. And if we could see the very last Zeke Carey because this is the one where you're backed up. I intent. You're thirteen and they give it to Zeke to kill the clock and that's zero yard. Gain above is screaming will help me out but then came within the next play. They play action of Blake. Joe We walk. All Shannon Jar. Went went back and he gets twenty three yards and it kills the clock while he got there because they were so hell bent on stopping. Okay what was I saying in my little living room. I'm saying feed the beast. I wanted to see him. Go three straight carries for a first down and the clock runs and runs because one fifty four left run. I started the series right. Okay okay so I couldn't even see him. Run to kill the clock okay. So now we're down to what what's wrong here. What's happening? Is that the offensive long. Have they just turned into a pretty good pass blocking line but a bad run blogging. You want to discredit them. Should you blame them. I mean if you look at if you look at the game you see the difference of lab. resetting the line of scrimmage the Scrim Izzo again. You want to talk about overpaid you can go across the line. They are all locked in and with huge contract. Yes across the ball all five of yes and are you telling me that. They just can't open the same holes that they used to. Because we saw Zeke get loose one time this year and it was at the giant. And what did he say. After the game biggest holes I've ever had in my career dating back to pop warner right right so every time I looked up against the giants it was just open space like lots of green carpet. He's just running up the green carpet like he's in his living room right. Okay okay so is it the offensive line or is it the Earl Campbell Syndrome. Because a month ago I started comparing Zeke to Earl Campbell as much fullback as halfback running back right but there's also another downside Earl Campbell Syndrome and that is you just take in too many hits shorts. Yeah Okay did did in three years..

"Continue. Our look back at him K in nineteen sixty five per I March ended in violence a second March was cut short Martin Luther King junior led a March fifty four miles from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama to protest racist voting laws, the Voting Rights Act, passed a few months later, and remains one of the civil rights movements most, enduring achievements. I wasn't back with Wiley air Dixon. Michael vicar back. That's return to Kansas City where the chiefs suffered another crushing playoff loss yesterday with the patriots holding Casey's dynamic offense to their fewest yards all season. It was also another question laws for Andy Reid who has been one of the NFL's top coaches for two decades. But is just one in five in conference championship games and lost his only Super Bowl appearance. Read address disappointment. After the game. We wanted to bring the trophy home air. So I think all our players did and all the coach. And and that's a that's a tough thing. So you know, when somebody gets in the fact that they get to do it right here is real tough. So. But. We're gonna get that something we've got. So we just. Will bear down this off-season. Make sure we get better. I cannot call any reading bay coach is very good coach. So it was day in res. So was Marty Schottenheimer. So was Chuck Knox. There've been a lot of good coaches that couldn't win the Super Bowl. And I think that's where we're at with Andy Reid. He he reminds me a lot of Dan Reeves excellent code led to different franchises to the Super Bowl, but some sort of flaw there and to me with any read it's he falls in love with the passing game. He's a poor clock manager. And he in Kansas City, he virtually ignores his defense, he sits on the bench and coaches, Patrick Mahomes while the defense plays and the defense looks like a team that the head coach doesn't care that much about defense. You're absolutely correct. So therefore is not Andy Reid fault. Here's the thing. Andy Reza mazing coast to me one in five in conference championship games. And I remember when he was one in four we were sitting there all those times. Philadelphia said God if you do the receiver they going to do something then they got a receiver needing our hurt when he's still play, but one leg and Bodet almost one that. So we're now we're here. And you're looking Andy Reid one in five conference championships. If you give them a D coordinator, if you look I I like people forever. How the Guinea by fire? I don't care. Don't mean that much gotta go 'cause Bob sudden has football starts up front. You have a team that in standard pass. Rush has the most sexy NFL implicit situation. Most sexy NFL they tied for the league lead. But you're thirty first ranked if it starts all up front and y'all get into the quarterback what out blitzen and you'll still can't cover back there. They'll tell me about the talent tell me about the scheme. Bob has to go right now give any reading D coordinator, the guy went out there in the first half. And they got bludgeoned. I mean, it's a slow death to be on the sideline for that many minutes watching team just drive and then Andy Reid went back to the lab at halftime. Like he did the first play the patriots the regular season and came back out and nearly won that game. Ford stays on side. They do win that game. So it's not Andy Reid. Give him a D coordinator. You'll see the championship in basketball was it to the Knicks. And and the bulls that was a kryptonite winning cred. They couldn't get past them. Really? That was a big thing. Knicks good. Past the bulls. And it's the same thing with with Andy Reid trying to get past Bella check. I mean, that's that's his kryptonite. You know, what was it in the NFC Bill? Check was in the air where we we talking about. Right..

"Hundred thirty five pounds is college ready. He's skilled he's aggressive. He's a very good rebounder like can score the ball facing the Rammer with his back to it. I think both those guys can have an immediate. Impacted Villanova Justin Moore, air Dixon. Both very good players. Just in more plays in the Catholic League goes into Matha Catholic. And then there's air Dixon who at six seven two hundred sixty pounds is a bowl, and he can really score the ball around the basket and can really rebound. So it's a terrific recruiting class that Jay Wright has put together known touch on a couple topics and I want to start with Vanderbilt's Darius garland, unfortunately garland went down with a torn meniscus. He had surgery on it on Monday. And he is going to be out for the entire rest of the season. I think he was the top in. We'll remain the top point guard prospect in next year's NBA draft. This is a kid at at six foot three as quick he conciliate, but he can really score the basketball as well. And was averaging nearly twenty points game in those first four games. And then went down in the first two minutes against Kent state, just an unfortunate situation, and I talked to Bryce drew, and he just said that the whole deal right now is just. Surreal and that it was starting to get fun. And so it's unfortunate deal for Darius garland, especially a kid that that I think was going to continue to rise up the point guard list on the draft boards. And the reason I think that is because it is one he's really good and two that's one of the weaknesses in the upcoming draft. Is that point guard position? I did speak to a high ranking NBA executive today asked him what type of impact the news about him tearing his meniscus in him being out for the rest of the season. What type of impact that may have on his draft stock and get this? He said zero he said he thought that it was great. They are being cautious. But he has too much body of work. Then those guys have obviously seen him in all star games on Sol Vanderbilt's pro day. Lot of MBA executives were at the game against USC when he scored nineteen points. So they've seen this kid. And from what I was told by one high ranking MBA executive from a basketball standpoint, there's there's no impact. Obviously, they're gonna take look the medical win win that's released. But these guys know who he is what kind of player he is. And I still think he has a chance to be the first point guard taken in next year's NBA draft kid over at Murray State, Mr Morand six-foot-three with a terrific athleticism Moran. I think he he will be in that conversation as well. But I still think Darius garland has the potential to be a top ten pick in next year's draft. Second thing I want to talk about was a cook cook, and this is a five star prospect in the two thousand nineteen class. I spoke to cook this weekend. He informed me that he has withdrawn from Putnam science academy who's doing a postgraduate season there. He'd actually graduated last year needed told me a couple of weeks ago that he was considering skipping college all together to look into going into the NBA draft that tune has changed. He is now going to enroll in college at the semester break, he's already taken five visits. He's been to Syracuse providence. Pittsburgh, george. Shown in Connecticut. So one of those schools is going to get a cook. At the semester break. He would technically be eligible to play in that semester. Now remains to be seen. What school he's going to go to or if that coaching staff would be comfortable playing him midway through the season. A lot of people believe that Connecticut may be the leader there. Georgetown is certainly deep involved and some of it's going to depend on which schools a has scholarships available, but a cook cook ranked number thirty one over on the twenty.

"And then honestly, probably the best college player. The group is Eric Dixon who is. Like don't over. Clones. These like six foot six four five type players, and that's Eric Dixon. And he might be the best of the group that they've had which includes a guy like a Kris Jenkins or even Eric PASCAL who's there now and and in down the line. So I think Dixon is really the kid that Villanova fans are gonna love and he could be a double figure score from from day one. And a very good rebounder. Yeah. Agree with you completely all the that's a class full of talent agree with what you said about air Dixon. He's physically ready. He he may be undersized. But this do that rebounds can score around the basket, then those other guys Jeremiah Robinson. This is a kid that just keeps getting better. I think he'll be ready to impact the game right away. So we'll Brian Antoine. Justin Moore, really good group for Jay Wright. And then checking at number three Shawn Miller in Arizona, a very good class. They put together for commitments. They'd like to ads Ignasi to it too. To to four star or two flat. Five-star guys, Josh green Nico Manion, plus Terry Armstrong, and and Christian calico, what on paper what sticks out to you about this group again, again f lettuce system, I mean, Nico minions and explosive point guard. Then Josh green is is almost athletic is any wing in the country. Christian colloquial longs. Shop locker down low, and then tear Terry Armstrong's a big athletic wing. So you're adding us lettuces and length versatility all things that Shawn Miller likes. But when Sean Ston good he's had a real point guard. Whether it was at Xavier with a guy like, drew, lavender. Or when he was at Arizona with TJ McConnell when Sean has that guy at point guard. It just makes everything go Meco Manion can be that guy. And he's more fiscally talented than either lavender or McConnell were. So that that's the real exciting took per zone is it's crazy to think that Sean being a former point guard hasn't had great point guards in his time in Arizona. He's got one now. Nichole man for sure I think the when it looks when we look at the recruiting class rankings. I'm curious to see you when it's all said and done how these these rankings shakeout because there's so many guys in the top one hundred still available. You know, there's one two three four five six seven eight guys in the top. Oh, ten that have yet to make our seven guys in the top ten that have yet to make their college choice. So I think we're going to see a lot of fluctuation at the top of this list, and while USC and Villanova and Arezzo sit one two three right now this list could trade dramatically if Duke it's a couple of guys if North Carolina we're able to get a couple of guys or even Memphis ads. So I'm more or less curious who ends up with the best class. Not just who has the best one right now. Yeah. I it's wild to think in and usually we can point to guys dukes getting our Kentucky's going to get we can't do that right now. We can't say off Duke definitely's for this Kidder Kentucky definitely leads for this kit. So are they going to be able to take one of those kids, you know, can Kentucky steel key on five star keen on Brooks away from Indiana. Can Michigan state get Isaiah Stewart and and Jackson Davis? Like we. We just don't know where a lot of recruitments are going and a lot of kids seem to be taking their time. So it's gonna be very intriguing and interesting to see who finishes how that. Up ten looks, you know in April for sure there's a there's a lot to play out Brian. I appreciate you taking the time out and jumping on the podcast.

"But not working your butt off and train like his off season. Training stuff is ridiculous. Like, I follow girly and see how he trains off season is crazy. And some of the guys that's not playing right now the injured go back to the summer and see what they were doing and watch videos. I'm throwing out of hint there. But some guys are injured right now in NFL that position watch what they were doing to summer nothing but has had jets planes. Cars money clubbing. And you see what these see house plan out? Being great. I no mistake. You don't just dump it in the net. You gotta work bit someone who's not playing and just want to ask you about this before we get to the news this bell situation. How do you see this? How do you see this playing out and? Tired of it? I'm tired of it. I'm tired of. But this is the thing. I'm tired of first of all he needs to make a decision. What you're gonna do. Would you gonna do man? You you shoot a dribble. One of the do that whatever you gonna do it. Secondly, how could I gain our most beloved game the game that is still compensate me to this day? How could our gain the best professional game in all sports to me? Allow one of our best players at his perspective position. Arguably debase at his perspective position not to be playing football. Because of financial reasons this is to me, the NFL should step in and say you guys need to fix this situation. We can have one of our best players not playing the game. Because you guys are too stubborn to meet in the middle financially or either just let him go work. It out is no other sport would allow their best player. The perspective position you arguably say the running back. Yeah. Because they're playing now he's not playing. That's why you had the argument. But if he's playing put up the numbers that he put up in the past you would say. That's probably the best running back in the game. Running wise catching the ball wise, picking up blitzes the physicality what he brings to the table is no way up professional sports should allow their best player at deposition not to be playing the game. And that's that's a tragedy to me, the NFL should intervene with the team and say fixed. You're not gonna let Tom Brady sit out over some stupid like this. You're not gonna let drew Brees out over some stupid like this. But yet still we got Levy on bail in limbo. Don't make sense who who should shoulder the blame for what's going on with Steelers team. Okay. If you're not going to give him close, a whatever show us what you offered then let's pointed him and say man, look ain't nobody in the league in ready to pay you this? So you take Chiel because first of all you missed a whole year of salary. I don't understand how you do that. If I'm a businessman. I'm not taking a ale put a whole year. I'm not doing businesswise. Yeah. Eight hundred fifty thousand a week because how many years you really think you got left at your position Duda. Math take about the the Marshall FOX to ill tease the air Dixon's. The Emmett Smith the Jerome Bettis that think about all these guys that are hall of famers. How many years did they get out of this thing? So really figured saying. This is your whatever he gets. This is the last raw ain't gonna be no contract after this. This is it and you take ale I'm not doing that financial business wise. But it's no way allow my best player to be out about gain our league in our game needs this. No way. The feel strongly about this. James Connors has been great though. And he's not allowed the Bill. Amen. Hey, play wanna see him play. He wants to see Livy on. He wants to see Levy on happy. He got his opportunity. Oh my God. Next man up. He emphasizes that he and bodies debt, he got shut. Now, he has value to someone. But he'll let me I'm Bill believe in. How much do you think it's tearing apart or is it fracturing at all the Steelers locker room? No business has been this, man. Everybody understands businesses not tearing them apart..

"Now, rob Parker is with us rob great stuff. Thank you good morning. And if you want to check it out the shuttle league dot com. Also we'd the entire letter there on the website. Okay. And we are going to get your opinion on it, but I do want to start with Shannon because he's a hall of Famer. Obviously, you are the hall a hall of Famer, but not not on this list. So what is. Support them skill. It's sad that it's come to this. They shouldn't have to have have to be fighting for this. This should have been something that was negotiated a long, long time ago. If you play, I believe I'm a firm believer if you are vested player. If you play the vista number of you, which is three years NFL you should receive lifetime health benefits that should have been the goal. She ate it. I hate that the hall of famers are having to be placed in the situation to fight for everybody I know is just a hall of Famer. Then they're talking about, and I know people don't say, what about the guys that are not a hall of famers would you gotta start with somewhere and the only the only asset, the only thing that the hall of famers have is their presence when you when you turn on? Yes, an induction, but you look up on the stage and you see all those go, Jackie usually all the hall of famers. So if you see a whole bunch of empty chairs, that's really probably the only thing that's going to get the hall of fame and the NFL detention skip. Look for me. I I've done. Okay. With my money. I'm not let me let me take that back. I'm like, I've done well. I've done better than, okay, okay. I got when my attorney Marvin in nineteen ninety six. And the very first thing he said he told me skipping since I'm always tell you what you need to know, not what you wanna hear. He's what do you want? I says this, I want this lifestyle. I have this many kids how to do it. He says, do this, this, this, this I did everything. He said, we'll off. Take care of my kids, put them through college. I'm good, but everybody is not like Shannon. A lot of guys didn't make the money and I made okay money. Not like these guys make him, but I'm good. But the guy that came before Shannon and the guy that came before them didn't make that money and they're hurt. I mean, I see some of the guys walking around skipping sad. It breaks my heart and I'm thinking to myself. Damn, is that going to be me another five year? If that will be me and ten years important of the not able to have healthcare that can provide. Healthcare for me and take my slipped in. And by the way, I don't believe that's going to be you and five, you go ahead and I'm like. This is so sad that the hall of famers had to be put in a situation like this and people ask me all the time. What do you get go into the hall of fame? I say they don't send out checks, so you got a very nice ring and you gotta bust Sipa. I mean, the fact that you one of the pantheon breaks that played your particular sport, but I commend Indy air Dixon who's the chairman of this and all the great name that you see skip his so many more. I think there's one hundred eighty hundred eighty minute members. And for the most part, all of them are not like Shanna. Some are better. Some of the Elway Marino's in Troy Aikman's did very very well. They're not on this on this living, but Jim Brown, you got some Jay z on you got some big ones on, yes, Derrick Brooks, yeah. Have nothing but respect for Derek. Absolutely. So how do you feel about the demand for an annual salary for hall of famers for me, I don't. I don't want anything. "Winners had to win to does not all head to win, rose. John, Liz, I'm only swing Elway because people always quest me about my Elway contention Elway's the reason my how I way to quarterback could he dominate in any era of football, the rules change, blah, blah, blah. John Elway could be dominant in any air. That's why he's the great. Oh, I'm not mad at the names. I wouldn't have had Johnny United semi top-five just probably you haven't seen any. The moment a little. You know, he don't respect study NFL films, but I'm not mad at that. But number one, John Elway even though that was my childhood idol, I wanted to be aired Dixon or John Elway playing against John Elway realize his greatness number one is a little extreme for me, but the orders own sugar. Here's the genius at play. The Lysa go like this number one quarterback of all time. All time time is Peyton Manning, let's stop playing number two, Tom Brady three, Joe Montana, John Elway here he is my idol number four and Dan, Marino number five. Let me explain this in short Peyton Manning when he stepped on the field of all quarterbacks played against and I played against all those guys except Montana. Let me just say this when we saw the school board and it says zero. Zero start a first quarter. We let y'all line is already fourteen zero. Pay magnum put up two scores somewhere onus field. Before this game even started. He was on a mat. Numbers, automatic money. Every single time greatest quarterback I ever played against Tom Brady amazing done, strike the same fear in me as a defender as Peyton Manning, you talk about playing in any era. How playing any system then you get to Montana and rice, KOMO man, that's like steak and potatoes. Elway zipping a ball pass. My ear Marino. Amazing. I mean, you had one quarterback on it. It didn't have no Super Bowl wins. Remember we all two minute team sport. They don't have to be Super Bowl. Winners to be the best rods is previewing. His lips doesn't care about Super Bowl, teams. Here. Number one, Danny Marino wool. Super Bowl gave a resume. I played against twelve hall of fame or going to be hall of fame quarterbacks in my career, right? So damn Marino can sling it the best in the bid. If he played today's league, I'll hit the seven thousand. Tom before the injury or and still not win. He's doesn't. He couldn't run anyway. Go here. All right. Second one after that you got Aaron Rodgers rods number two, number three, Tom Brady number four, Joe Montana. Number five. Have no titles Kelli Dayton. I should've had on their slash John Elway. I should've had them together. They should have been that fifth one, but at the end of the day, I liked this because we all talk about team sport in a quarterback position is the only position in the National Football League has a win loss record behind it. And we think that's because of them all the time. It's not because all these quarterbacks are all great. And when you go to canton, they don't have separate it. I hear you on the same player. Rogers is a contemporary of Tom Brady to playing right now for the same championship at least experienced, forget winning it all. He has left him five time who did Tom Brady and his team complements. Okay. But how did you stash. Accomplishments does not tell you how great individual with the problem with this whole discussion is all right. This is why you know journalists are superior to great athletes. Took the whole thing very personally. No, we started out with, here's who the greatest either late against. Here's who struck fear me. You damn near the same thing, quarterbacks it. Here's the guy to give my resume since he went back as a journalist as a historian. Also you impartial. That's what you're gonna go. Nowhere. "Got married, Houston, take my nephews to USC on Saturday, the Rams or the raiders on Sunday. I broke my heart move to Anaheim, then they wouldn't pay air Dixon eylau. Same thing with Aaron Donald. It may not be the same situation, but it looks the same to us being cheap. They low pollen and now the raiders come in first year win the Super Bowl, the God Marcus Allen, the guy rod, Martin, you know, I don't know if I'm fifty eight. I don't know if I'm that get off McGrath guy, but the the guy was by shack has, but that was more my dad and grandad. I didn't understand it at the time, but they laugh. They wanted to say north that wasn't LA. So it was gonna take a while for rep chances twenty years. Like you said, there's no connection. So definitely a writer town is going to be that way for quite a while to go through the ravers Vegas Decio ram game. Thank you. Appreciate I was wondering because he Raj wrote Chuck Harris, nicknames momma calling Chuck. James hairs. James Tigers. I'm like, like, oh football player. Does something today have Chuck Harris to that? Was it like the Harris brothers or something like, you know what I mean? Shack. Oh, man. Let's got Duke real quick before the break Duke was up. Duke I was looking, hey, they, I mean. Alabama by look, I everybody talked to Rams fans. Forty nine is in charge. Let this is always going to be raider nation. You can move every football team in the NFL to LA and the rate is still going to be number one. We can lose five games for the next, whatever, whatever. That's really, I think that's why the Rams went to cool with the raiders coming back to LA with them because they wouldn't do man. If the raiders would he came back like we wouldn't even be discussing the Rams like this, no matter how good a, what they doing is always going to be a rated nations. Like I was telling my nephew, hey, man lay could nation. We birth raider nation. You know about the ratings when he was up in Oakland before on the LA raider fan. Now since they when they left it went back to Oakland that kind of like me to us college football that's not became real USC Trojan fan, etcetera, etcetera. But now. Etc. Etc. I'm, I'm thinking, Dan, the man and a boy was telling me like you like Duke man. You like you scares me like, are you going to be a raider fan when they go to baker's, but check this out, man, I'm I'm a LA raider fan and in California is raiders LA or nothing. Otherwise, you know, I'm going to be a registered and that's why we're trying to tell her all his chart charges need to go home the Rams all know what they're going to do because like they say, like, say, if they have to win multiple championships, and I do agree with l z for like as future gone. Now we're gonna drop. Tapping. All right, thanks. You do Duke on when we start talking about agree with l, z. I'm like, now come on real talk, though. He's right. The rate is in Rams should have both been back in LA. Yes, the league and whoever else charges on the Vegas Vegas, San Diego pay the money, but the rate of should've rate is for sure. Should it came back, but I think that the raiders go in Vegas though will be a pretty big deal success. No, it is for sure. I live in a stadium and everything. I do think that talking about that way. So that's what I'm talking about going to do what I do it all the strip clubs..

"You, you just don't want to have anything hanging over the season that's negative. Yard got website for that. No, you don't want anything. You don't want to know what Teague negative hanging over the season, and I don't believe that it will be. I know right now in training camp the way it looks the Rams or you know, plan har- ball and nobody really knows what's going on, and there's offset language and this and that. And what's the real numbers at the end of the day. Again, remember when I said. They haven't played any football games yet. Right. They just haven't when they get to play football, that's was the problem, whatever they did to get him come to camp last year at the end in play Mr. first game that's not gonna happen this year. That conversation was we'll get it done. Just come in play this year. We don't wanna do it with two years left. We understand what it is that do you think though that they value that at the end of the day, they truly value Aaron, Donald the way you're talking about it? I think they do think they truly do. The reason I say that it's just because they've been Travis. Now we're talking about this yesterday. They have been good with Aaron Donald. They've been bad with Aaron, Donald, Aaron, Donald's been there the last few years. He's always been great. He's always been Aaron Donald, but the defense has been good. The defense is bad teams, good teams and bad. But when you bring in Sean, McVay win, Jared, Goff plays the way he does. That's all of a sudden when the team looked like a different team look. Look, you understand, do you understand a guy like this is a once in a lifetime? Do I? I don't get fired. If if you give him and you've devalue him in think that it's all about you, you're going to get fired. I don't disagree anxiously. Eventually you're going to get fired because he will go on in, he'll go to the Green Bay Packers or he'll go on some team to the New England, Patriots win five straight Super Bowls and being VP three straight years defense, hey, you'll be sitting around at the bottom of the barrel defense because the defense coordinator will start to get older and older and older, and he'll get tired and tired of time to get his book and he'll eventually retire and you'll get fire. There's just get rid of once in a lifetime. Do I don't whenever teams get rid of once in a lifetime guys, they never the same for a while. I don't disagree with you that earned. Donald is a once in a lifetime type player. You watch him play the the havoc that he wreaks the singular. Oh yeah. The single -bility that he has thing herald around is how how his speed in his hands. And I haven't seen that out of a defense alignment, probably since like Warren Sapp, you just you just there's been a part of me wondering whether or not the Rams are just looking at their future salary cap. I know and the way things had slice should. They should do that. It's gonna work are real good for they should do. They should go ahead and make that move trading. I dare you. Dare you. And you get a hell of a package for I. Dare you tell me in football when his worked out for you when you've gotten rid of a guy like Aaron, Donald, tell me give me a guy. I wanna know, did it work out for the Rams and they got rid of air Dixon? Did it work out for the Rams and the government of drone beddis. Did it work out for the Indianapolis Colts when they got rid of Marshall Faulk. It it it just when you get rid of. Work for the jets when they got rid of me. Note bay still trying to replace receiver is just everything there. You just don't do that. You just don't do it. I don't disagree. Just do it the way the way they seem to be treating the so far with this situation hanging for a year, not in try if they was old and crusty and it was, and he still had a little gas left in the tank, a quarter of a tank, Joe Montana with from San Francisco to Kansas City all time grading in he had at one or two good years left..

"Is there any who else on that team benefited the most from this game and from their performance. That's tough because most of those guys were already pretty highly touted. I walked away impressed with Jani juicing. I think over the last year he shirt up his shot selection and he's become a more efficient player. I notice the start of that at the u. seventeen trials in mid June. And I thought in this game he took good shot. He made a number of three pointers. He hit a couple mid range, pull ups. I thought he was one of the difference makers in and just his scoring and shooting ability. The other side. I mean, you take her heads and guys that played really well. Justin Moore committed to billing over was really good as well, Jeremy Roach. I think what's most impressive player for takeover? The two thousand twenty point guard. Actually the number one point guard in that class. So full sides guys, that certainly helped her stock. You mentioned you mentioned Justin Moore who's said to go to Villanova. That's where he's committed to Villanova's interesting. You cover the big east and. The the big show on Fox Sports one as they've done unbelievable job winning two or three national championships, and we've seen Josh heart winning the summer league MVP how regard they are all for those guys go in the first round of the NBA draft, but there's a lot of turnover there. I know they're recruiting a little bit higher level. This is it's kind of interesting like, how do they maintain their culture with so many new faces. Yeah. I mean, I think that's going to be that's to be big factor. But I think obviously what we've seen from Jay right over the last couple of years, I think he's, he's certainly fit the handle that they're bringing in a really good class in two thousand eighteen two thousand nineteen. They've got a top fifty two top seventy type guys, Justin Moore and Eric dickers- air Dixon, but that two thousand eighteen hall is is really good. Clearly a five star guy. So crafty and creative. I think he comes right in and you're not gonna be able to replace Jalen Brunson, but I think he fits how Villanova wants to play. He's got a good feel for the game. He can set guys up. I think he'll come in and make a an instant impact and and guys like brand Slater and Kohl's, wider wealth. And out on the the perimeter Slater's a big time score at six, six who got long arms. He can make shots. He's athletic. I mean, they're, they're obviously lost a lot. And most of those guys, you're not going to be able to replace. Because you know, but they're bringing in a good recruiting class with solid players that really fit Villanova. Let's go through a couple of two thousand nineteen. Okay. Those are rising. Seniors is Cole Anthony, the best player in that class. No, I think James Wiseman well could be the best player. I think James Wiseman is the best prospect, and when you go to our rankings, that's what we're NY real quick, Evan. Bye bye prospect. You mean NBA prospect or college because because because it's very interesting. Yeah, more so than most, I think I think he's the best long-term prospect. I mean, he's pushing seven seats got a seven, six wingspan. He's mobile. He impacts the game on both ends of the court. He's really developing his offense of skill set. Unfortunately, he's been banged up and he would have been on that u seventeen team that won a gold medal, but he got hurt and he's really plays a of kind of banged up as well. But I don't get me wrong. I think Colin things. Great. We have number two, six, three, explosive athlete as competitive. As you'll you'll find. I mean, this kid gets after it on both ends of the court as well. I think he's more of a combo than he is an actual. Point right now, his mentality is always the scores, right? So if I had a knock on him, it would be, you know, go create for others and and and him as well. He, he needs to shore up his shot selection a little as well, but he's obviously very, very gifted. Very talented came really score needs a high level athletes. My crazy. Thank gene mcdaniels. Another -nother top-five guy. You know he's he's from Washington. That's the kind of guy that Mike Hopkins has to get right..
