Representative Adriano espa, Richie Torres as well, assemblies people, Carl hasty. And others, mayor Eric Adams, borough president, Vanessa Gibson. Was this about they're all sort of on one club. And so there was sort of no relationship there that was really going to work with you. How do you sort of explain that many prominent elected officials going against you in your own party in this primary? That's something you're going to have to ask them. What I want to linger on is the folks that I'm incredibly proud to have received support from. First of all, most importantly, my constituency folks who would be elected me. But certainly folks in labor, whether you mentioned 11 9 9 nurses, TW, CWA, RWDSU, HTC, certainly the working families party. I mean, I could go on and these are folks who I work with very closely over the last 11 years. And recognize, again, this all has to be about the work. This is about the work that. And that is what I want to focus on. And for me, for me, it's like that's the reason why they chose to support to support her. That's something you're going to have to ask them. But ultimately, for me, it's about the work even with the folks who are because I know in particular, there were a few there were a few unions who went with her, and they made that decision. That's on them. I still look forward to working with them next year when I will be back in the Senate. So that's what I will continue to focus on. One of the things that you get lauded for a lot is independence.

I mean there's practices for eating, you know, which might be something akin to just praying before you eat something that we would recognize from Midwestern American culture, but then other weird stuff like praying when you go to the bathroom and you know, praying when you're beginning a trip, and it's not praying always, sometimes it's doing some kind of big complex ritual. It's much more built in methods of attempting to contact that sacredness of every moment even the very mundane moments. For us, in the modern west, it's probably not going to look like that because unless we create each one of those for ourselves, you know, we don't have ready made rituals for all those things, but on the other hand, that doesn't impede the direct seeing of that digging into or bathing in or saturation with this sacredness that's available in every moment. Yeah, I think one of the questions I've become increasingly really focused on and really working on in my mind and in the programs that we offer is how do we take that insight and awakening that we're having while we meditate, and how do we infuse it through more of the moments of our lives, and I agree with what you're saying about in certain cultures or traditions, it sort of done for you the danger as you just start going through the motions, but there is a plan and a well thought out structure to life that makes it more likely that's going to happen. I feel like that's missing to a large degree in so many people's practice in our current world..

I feel like there's a higher quantity of mediocre work and not as much sort of high quality high-calibre work because you know every august you back does in be great was that they made in the not so great but into some. And the whole so. I got to be careful with my gambling. I pick and choose as i get older. I actually just been gambling on golf. Because i can bet less and win more in football to win five hundred dollars. You typically get a five hundred dollars right. Maybe if you bet a big underdog you might get two to one but the big underdog for reason probably not going to win so you probably don't wanna place those bets house looking the over under actually think. That's the worst bet going 'cause if you're going to win any substantial amount of money let's say you're gonna play five hundred dollars on the falcons under which is even what's in there under a seven and a half so i got to get five hundred dollars september tenth or fifth or whatever place before the season. I don't get that money back 'til january whatever first or second whatever the last week seventeen ins so i'm out five hundred dollars for four and a half months at least if i bet on a game or i bet on the super bowl odds adriano to win a division. I get way better off. It's three four to one. So i can four x by money. Well i'm bending over under the are awful for example. If i wanted to say i think john gruden's going to be a disaster this year. The raiders under is seven the over under seven which. I'd probably take the over. I think they'll be eight nine wins. But let's say. I wanted to take the under. It's minus one forty five or excuse me the excuse me. the over. seven is minus one forty-five meaning. If i wanted to win a thousand dollars. i'd have to bet fourteen hundred and fifty dollars. So i have to bet that in september in wait until january to find out if i win or loose now obviously if it goes well or bad you'll know before then but still you don't get paid out until the seasons as a gambler. I and listen over under something we all talk about and they are fun to talk about just from a pure wind law standpoint but from an actual gambling standpoint. Terrible in. let's say let's say you're going to bet fifty dollars over under which might be a lot of money to someone. You have to wait for months for fifty bucks. That seems insane. I you know, there are there are worms who I like more than George will but he you know he wrote an article recently that the other side reads and he said, you know, Parts this bill look like they're unconstitutional. All right, you gotta think that through I happen to know a lot about the Constitution. Okay. I study concerts a lot Harvard. I could have that debate with Joe manchin. Is this constitutional, is that constitutional or not? And that, you know, that's kind of what needs to be done. I would certainly support it. Wholeheartedly when I was in Congress, I actually was in the courtroom when the citizens united case was decided that took that money is speech and then rich people can spend as much as they want to bribe elected officials with campaign ads. I was there when that happened. And I went on Keith Olbermann Show on MSNBC that night. And I said, if we do nothing, you can kiss this country. Goodbye.
