Wall Street Journal reports an informant tipped off the Justice Department that more documents were actually in Trump's home. The FBI reportedly did the search for records that Trump took from The White House that were supposed to be turned over to the archives. And Wednesday, Donald Trump invoked his Fifth Amendment rights and declined to answer any questions from the New York attorney general at the scheduled deposition as New York authorities look into the business dealings. How Much Trouble Is Joe Biden In? Chris Kohls Weighs In

"You may not have worked in government, but you know what dang lot about communication and how to effectively communicate. It looks as if anybody in any kind of position of communications in The White House is jumping the ship from Kamala's speechwriter to Jen Psaki. Jen Psaki seems like such old history. It doesn't it? If I say gen so it feels like years ago that she was who is that? Yeah, who is that? What is going on as a professional communicator? And supplier of content, do you think they're just out of steam? Is it just changing of the God? How much trouble is bow jaiden in? No, jud. Yeah. When Korean John Pierre took the job, it was a bit shocking. I don't know if you remember the first month that she was there. Everybody just thought, what is going on? How can they have somebody who can't read? I mean, she was literally like, anytime anybody asks her a question, she'd flip to the page. Well, one second I just have to find my okay talking points. I will read them for you, and she would read them verbatim, whatever was written down for her. And she had trouble reading it. She can't actually read the notes, Chris. It's incredible to this day she can't read what's in the binder. I understand, look, look, guys, if you're a trucker, you work in construction, you don't have to read out loud as your job, that's not part of your job, okay? If you're not good at that, don't get a job in communication. Korean Jean Pierre goes into a job where, as press secretary, where she needs to read off her talking points and she can not. She's like a second grader learning to read out loud in front of the class and she's obviously like completely incompetent. I think has a lot to do with the diversity hire problem. On the left, there is this virtue signaling thing where they say, oh, you know, we can't have white men, right? We can't have men generally. We have to have women and preferably women of color and preferably preferably women of color who are lesbians and immigrants and all this kind of crap, you know, they got like this a couple of trans dudes in there. There's just peppering their whole administration with all of these diversity hires. And of course everything's going to fall apart. Of course

Mark Robinson: The FBI Is Being Weaponized Against Political Opponents

"Going back to the situation now with president Trump, the FBI, the Justice Department, it looks, it looks to me like the FBI has been weaponized and they're targeting conservatives and specifically Trump supporters. Am I off base here? Absolutely not. This started back with the Obama administration. They weaponized the RF, the RS is again being weaponized 87,000 new agents that are going to start coming out to folks who don't who don't the party line look and communist in Russia. When the communists took over to communist forms something called the NKVD, it was a secret police of Russia. It was supposed to be there for the state. It was not there for the state. It was there for the Communist Party. That is the exact same thing that the Democratic Party is trying to do with the FBI and the DoJ. They are trying to turn them into their own private secret police that they can use to destroy their political enemies. This is the United States of America. We can not stand for it. We have got to put people in office. We're going to smash up this cabal and get those offices back to doing what they're supposed to do, which is protect the people of this country, not protect and fight for the Democratic Party. "And if you don't think it's a religion, think back who in 2015 was saying that biological sex wasn't real. Who was saying there are 47 different genders that sound like Pokémon characters. Who was saying that kids ought to be castrated chemically or physically to suit their shifting confused adolescent emotions. Who was saying that male prisoners rapists who decide that they identify as women have to be transferred to female prisons where they can rape again. This is a religious hysteria like the seal in which trials. That's right. Like the inquisition, like the persecution of the Jews during the crusades. This is the kind of insanity driven by dark predator natural forces that recurs throughout history. America may be exceptional. But we're not immune. We're not spiritually vaccinated against diabolical forces. Witness the fact that abortion was legal and the supposedly part of the constitution for 50 years. We have to wake up, we're part of the fallen human race and we are in danger by the world, the flesh and the devil. And we have to realize that our official religion is Caesar mammon and sodom. Okay, now I just want to be clear with my audience. My response to this, folks, you don't have to agree with me, but I would say this to anyone who's willing to listen. The only answer to these kinds of problems is Jesus. Now, I don't normally talk that on the nose, but we are in such a difficult place right now that to cut to the chase I've written books, you can read my books, you can read other books. This is not something I'm just pulling out of my hat, but I really believe that the spiritual darkness now is so clear that you should be scared. You should say I need help. And if you're smart enough or wise enough to understand you need help, let me be here to tell you, Jesus is the answer. The God of the Bible is alive. He hears he hears you. He knows what you're going through, and he wants to be there. And there are many people who might call themselves Christians who don't really avail themselves of the presence and the power of God. And I just want to be very, very clear that when things are this bad, some people are smart enough to be desperate enough to turn to God. There really is no there are many other things we can talk about about what we need to do. We need to do things. But at the heart of it, I want everybody to know, God is real. He is our answer. He's the God of history. He determines where this nation goes and how this nation goes. You can be a part of it. John, forgive me, we're out of time. Oil prices have skyrocketed and when oil prices go up, the cost of transportation and shipping spikes leading the prices of goods to rise. Ron Paul Warned About the FBI Years Ago

"Ron Paul, the father of Rand Paul. A great political mind. Ron Paul years ago, this was back in the 1980s. Actually, sounded the warning bells on the FBI, cut number one, please. You know, most of our history, we didn't have those institutions. The FBI came in during the First World War. And interestingly enough, the one thing that Woodrow Wilson did, he used the FBI to spy on American citizens and actually arrest them if they disagreed with his foreign policy about going to war in Europe. It is an interesting how recent they used it in the Vietnam era. Democrats used there and Republicans used the FBI to spy on a hundred different groups in this country, including the churches, who disagree with the policy in Central America, almost looks like the FBI was designed to spy on Americans who might be disagreeing with policy, especially the foreign policy. So the FBI, although I don't think I could condemn everything they've ever done because I'm sure some of the investigations and investigation of crime has been beneficial, but that could be accomplished through Justice Department within our states. We wouldn't reject that portion of it. I think the FBI has kept and continues to keep a lot of records on a lot of individuals, the CIA has only been here since 1947. Their record is lousy. You just think of the CIA used by the democratic administration to so there you go. And it goes on and on and on. That was Ron Paul, Ron Paul, sounding the warning bells. That something's not right with the FBI.

Trump Invokes Fifth Amendment in NY Civil Investigation

"Breaking now on the Mike Gallagher show. Former president Trump said he did invoke his Fifth Amendment rights per the advice of his attorneys during his deposition today as part of New York attorney general letitia James civil investigation, he called the investigation unfounded politically motivated a witch hunt. He said he had no choice, he says this is due to the him invoking the 5th, has to do with the Biden administration and prosecutors across the country having lost all moral and ethical bounds of decency. I guarantee you he hated pleading the 5th today. But what else is he supposed to do? Give them more ammunition? As Fox News reported moments ago, Trump was set to sit down with attorneys from the state attorney general's office behind closed doors. Over an investigation into whether he overstated the value of the Trump organization. Well, you know what his answer was? Go, go, go pound salt. Letitia James, go to hell. Pardon me, I'm just fired up today. I really am and I expect you are too.

"This is northwest news radio 1000 FM 97 7. Fallout continues after the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago earlier this week, the home of former president Donald Trump. Jeff pojo got the latest from ABC News legal analyst royal oaks. Before the FBI could do anything, a federal judge had to sign off on this. Exactly right. And the Trump supporters are saying that the jurist who signed the warrant has a political motivation, has been appointed by a Democrat and so on. And essentially what they're saying is that this is a political witch hunt. Now, when you ask for a warrant, you go to the judge and say, your honor, here are the reasons why we think that a crime has been committed to a violation of federal law. And you don't get it signed off on and issued unless the judge agrees that a reasonable person would conclude that the law has been broken. So that's the Department of Justice perspective. They're going to say we have reason to believe that federal documents should have been left behind in The White House and were not. And that's why they took this unusual step. Shouldn't all the documents from Trump's presidency go to the national archives? Yeah, I mean, you've got a rule that says anything that really was involved in the business of the president really has to be logged in and catalog sent back to the national archive or sent to the proper proper federal office. So to the extent a documents that really belong to the federal government and are part of the ongoing operations, they have to be left behind. The Department of Justice is saying that they were not left behind in this case. And although it's very volatile and Trump is very controversial, nonetheless, they felt that it was appropriate. Now, we don't know exactly what they were looking for because we haven't seen the list of things that were on the warrant. We don't know what was obtained by the FBI when they went in for the raid. That's probably going to come out or leak out very soon. And at that point, if it's a smoking gun that really makes Trump look bad, then of course the Biden administration will feel vindicated. If it's kind of a big nothing burger, then I think the political calculus is Trump is a big winner on this because he'll add fuel to the fire that he's the victim of a witch hunt and they're just afraid of him running in 2024 and they're trying to take him out of action. Some of the analysis I've been reading about this is that Trump may have done this to himself because in that statement he had said that he had been working with the national archives working with the FBI to turn over documents and all of that. But he really shouldn't have had those documents in the first place, correct? You want to the extent that he had documents as president. You couldn't really criticize him because the president should have anything that relates to the administration of his duties. But the problem is the rules say when you leave, then you're only supposed to take personal stuff and the allegation is he took a lot more than that. What could former president Trump face here? I mean, what's the penalty for breaking this law? Well, there are penalties for violating the law about handing back your documents to the national archives. Theoretically, he could be fined. But as a practical matter, it's very unlikely that there would be any sort of prosecution of Donald Trump. I think from the Department of Justice's perspective, they simply want the stuff back that they're entitled to and from a political standpoint to Biden and his team probably would be delighted if the public got the perception that Donald Trump was cheating was lying, stealing, holding onto documents he shouldn't have, but it's not like it's going to trigger World War three that he had had some national archive documents. I think it's really a matter of political embarrassment. That's ABC News legal analyst royal oaks talking with

Biden's Response to Russia Is Historically Weak

"Joe Biden suggested that we were pulling out of Afghanistan. This is going to free up our hands to deal with Russia. There's only one problem. The pullout from Afghanistan actually incentivized. The war between Russia and Ukraine because after all, where Joe Biden has been clear he has been wrong and where he has been unclear, he has provoked conflict. So no wonder Russia thought that Joe Biden was a weak horse. After all, Joe Biden had basically been a Russia defender in the 2012 election. You'll recall that he was ripping on Mitt Romney for suggesting that Russia was a geopolitical threat. Here's Joe Biden's circa 2012. Governor Romney's answer I thought was incredibly revealing. He acts like he thinks the Cold War is still on, Russia is still our major adversary. I don't know where he's been. I mean, we have disagreements with Russia, but they're united with us on Iran. The only way we're getting one of only two ways we're getting material into Afghanistan to our troops is through Russia. They are working closely with us. They've just said to Europe, if there is an oil shutdown in any way in the gulf, they'll consider increasing oil supplies to Europe. That's not this is not 1956. This is not 1956. It says Joe Biden. Don't worry. Rush will take care of the oil for the Europeans. Russia will help us with Afghanistan. And then of course, Russia helped us with Syria by basically taking Syria off the hands of president Obama to the wild cheers of people like Joe Biden. And in 2014, Russia invades Crimea. And Joe Biden has some words for Russia. That's pretty much all he has for Russia. So his vice president when that administration did nothing over the invasion of Crimea. Here was Joe Biden circa 2014. I want to make it clear. We stand resolutely with our Baltic allies and support of Ukrainian people and against Russian aggression. As long as Russia continues on this dark path, they will face increasing political and economic isolation. There are those who say that this action shows the old rules still apply. But Russia can not escape the fact that the world is changing and rejecting outright. Their behavior. Of course, that was a lie. It turns out that the steps that The White House pursued, under vice President Biden, were extraordinarily weak. And basically they announced a Visa ban on a couple of Russian and Ukrainian officials. And they canceled a couple of talks on trades and commercial ties. That was pretty much all of the things. And by the way, they then proceeded to deny lethal aid to Ukraine.

Biden's Unclear Foreign Policy Is Destroying Trump's Achievements

"When reviewing the record of the Biden administration on foreign policy, let's just review for one second. Where foreign policy was when Joe Biden took office. So there was no open war with Russia, for example, there was no open conflict with China. There was a crackdown on China that was happening. There was a move towards strengthening sanctions against Russia that had been happening and stronger movement on Russia's borders by the Trump administration in the Middle East, peace had broken out, and the simple fact of the matter is that foreign policy might have been the brightest spot of the Trump administration. And Joe Biden has signally capitulated on a variety of issues and he's created tremendous lack of clarity on others. And that lack of clarity leads to further conflict. And one of the key tenets of foreign policy is that lack of clarity leads to miscommunication, miscommunication leads to people making bad assumptions, those bad assumptions lead to actual dead people. This has been the history of foreign policy ranging well back before World War I. And you have the Biden administration where it's not wrong. It is unclear. And that is a serious serious problem.

"Here's The Wall Street Journal editor. Well, first let me play a little audio because there's a lot of great audio on this yesterday. Let's start with senator Rick Scott on Fox business with degan McDowell, cut number 8. Well, first of all, it makes you mad. I mean, this is unprecedented. A former president potential opponent to Biden in 24 is house gets rated. We know the Biden administration targets their opponents. Merrick Garland's targets, democratic opponents. This is well, here's what needs to happen today. Separately, mayor Garland, Christopher wray, Joe Biden need to do press conference, take all questions, explain why they're doing what they're doing, what each of them knew when this should scare every American until we get answers. This should be, you should have unbelievable concern. I got more phone calls. Let's go over to Ted Cruz. Cut number 13. That's exactly right. What we've got to do is win control of the House and Senate so that we have the authority to engage in oversight. It was interesting that the director of the FBI was there for one round of questions. At the end of the round of questions, we were supposed to have a second round. He said, no, I got a plane to catch. I'm sorry I gotta go. He didn't want another round of questions as chuck grassley observed. Wait a second. You've got your own plane. The FBI has a private jet just for you, so you're playing to catch it. You just don't want to have any more investigation. We need serious oversight. We need accountability. The people who have been political and partisan need to be fired. And if they broke the law right, let's hear Marco Rubio say the same thing. Cut number ten. You know, an FBI raid looking for supposed classified documents is a ridiculous alibi. Unlike anyone else in the federal government, no president can be guilty of illegally handling classified information because a president has complete and final authority to decide whether something is classified or not.

Naomi Wolf Has Her Own Opinions About the Raid of Trump's Home

"It's now my privilege and joy to have as my guest for the rest of the show. Naomi Wolfe, Naomi, welcome back. Thank you so much, Eric. Thanks for having me. Well, I want to talk to you about a hundred things. First of all, your book is out. We spoke about it, but there's a lot more to say. It's titled the bodies of others. The new authoritarians, COVID-19 and the war against the human, because today is today, I have to say that when I read the new authoritarians, the idea that the FBI, you don't have to like Trump, folks. This is not about that. This is about the rule of law. This is about are we free people, governing ourselves, or have we entered a new era. And I have to tell you, and Naomi, you probably know this, but Brandon strock had his door broken down by the FBI. They are terrorizing people. Simone gold. You must know Simone gold. She's in jail because she's a Doctor Who had the temerity to talk about the vaccines as a bad thing. And what we're seeing right now, it's nothing less than astonishing. It's frankly hard to believe that it's happening in our lifetimes that we're seeing this kind of thing. But you don't only acknowledge it. You've written a book about it. Yeah, thank you. I mean, this is horribly horribly predictable based on the trends that I analyzed in the bodies of others, but it's still such a shock. And I just want to kind of publicly and formally apologize. On behalf, I'm not aligned with the Democrats, but I voted for it that my voted for this administration. And I just truly am so sorry and just want to words can't express how appalled and horrified I am to witness that people I voted for are tasking our law enforcement with terrorizing private citizens in a way that is really reminiscent of the Stasi and the black shirts.

Raid on Trump's Mar-A-Lago Estate Questioned by Some Legal Scholars

"In the national archive and records administration said that Trump took 15 boxes of presidential records to his personal residence in Florida, those boxes allegedly contained classified national security information and official correspondence between Trump and foreign heads of state. The notified Congress in February that the agency recovered the 15 boxes from Mar-a-Lago and identified items marked as classified national security information within the boxes. And they say it goes on to say the national archive and records administration described itself as the nation's record keeper. Now, for some reason I believe that they think that Donald Trump has more information still at his personal residence. Is that true? Could they be planning information on Donald Trump? I don't know. Nobody knows. They clearly got a warrant. Now we know for a fact, all you got to do is look at when Donald Trump was running for office and the Steele dossier and all these other stuff that they were doing they had authorization which we've now found is illegal authorization unjustified unconstitutional authorization to spy on American citizens.

Trump Lawyer Christina Bobb Describes FBI Raid on Mar-A-Lago

"I have a great deal to say about what happened at Mar-a-Lago, the FBI raid, but I'm going to hold that back a little bit because I've got the wonderful opportunity to talk to somebody who is who was right on the scene. The Christina bob is an attorney for president Trump at save America. She started her legal career at the U.S. Marine Corps. She was deployed to Afghanistan. She's defended marines in court martials, and she has a specialization in national security law from Georgetown law center in Washington, D.C., Christina, what a crazy business we're in. Something that I haven't seen in my adult lifetime. I'm not even sure if it's happened in American history. We have the DoJ of an existing administration raiding the residents of not only the man that Biden ran against in 2020, but very likely a quite possibly the man he might run against in 2024. Now, you were there, let's start by talking a little bit about I want to walk through this a little bit slowly, but let's start with Mar-a-Lago. Mar-a-Lago is not merely a kind of club that people can belong to and they can come and play golf, but president Trump lives there, doesn't he? Yeah, it's his personal residence. And I mean, it's his home. It's where he lives and is where he spends most of his time, you know, this time of year he's up north in New Jersey, but Mar-a-Lago is very much president Trump's personal residence. We were, of course, at Mar-a-Lago for the premiere of 2000 mules, and it was it's a lovely place. Trump now is not at Mar-a-Lago. He's in New Jersey. And so this raid evidently occurred in his in his absence. Talk about talk about it now from your point of view. Were you on the scene? How did you hear about it? Give us sort of the blow by blow. Yeah, I responded 'cause I'm one of president Trump's attorneys that lives in the area. I live not too far from Mar-a-Lago. And I got a call that said, hey, you need to get down there. The FBI is on site, and we need a presence there. So I went down. So I arrived after the FBI was already there, and tried to get a copy of the search warrant. They wouldn't give it to me initially. And they said they didn't even have to show it to me. I fought with them for a little while about that and said, you mean to tell me that you want to roll up at the president of the United States personal residence and you want me to take your word for it that you actually have a warrant. So they eventually showed it to me. And then they, you know, they gave me a copy of it after everything was over. So the whole thing was relatively uneventful as far as like, you know, there was not a whole lot you can do when you have a large number of FBI agents rummaging through the president's personal residence and his office in the area that he lives in in Mar-a-Lago.

The FBI Raided Trump—but Where Is the Crime?

"According to The New York Times, former president Donald J Trump said on Monday that the FBI had surged his Palm Beach Florida home and had broken open a safe and account signaling a major escalation in the various investigations into the final stages of his presidency, the search, according to multiple people familiar with the investigation appeared to be focused on material that Trump had brought with him to Mar-a-Lago his private club and resonance when he left The White House. Those boxes contained many pages of classified documents according to a person familiar with their content. Mister Trump delayed returning 15 boxes of material requested by officials with the national archives for many months, only doing so when there became a threat of action to retrieve them, the case was referred to the Justice Department by the archives early this year. This is an insane thing. It is just an insane thing. So here is here is the bottom line here. The FBI is not trusted by many, many Americans. I mean, a majority of Republicans do not trust the FBI according to polling data. A majority of independents do not trust the FBI. According to polling data, what the FBI just did requires extraordinary institutional trust. This is an FBI under the auspices and a current administration rating the home of the leader of the last administration and the likeliest potential nominee for the opposition coming 2024. It seems like on the face of it, banana republic type stuff. It seems like on the face of it, pretextual, especially because if you're going to do something like this, there had damned well, better be a crime. The crime can't be something like the president of the United States when he left office. He brought with him stuff. Bill Clinton brought half The White House with him when he left office. He was never rated.

"The FBI searched former president Donald Trump's Florida estate yesterday People familiar with the incidents say it was part of an investigation into whether Trump took classified records from The White House to Mar-a-Lago The Justice Department has been investigating potential mishandling of classified information since the national archives and records administration said it took 15 boxes of classified records from Mar-a-Lago earlier this year The search is a dramatic escalation of the law enforcement scrutiny of Trump who said his home was raided and under siege He's casting it as part of a Democrat led effort to stop him from winning back The White House in 2024 Sagar Meghani Washington

Victor Davis Hanson and Eric Speculate on the Direction of America

"Speculating on the direction of the country. And we have an early talked about the midterms and Trump. It seems to me that the blessing of the unfolding nightmare of this administration is that many people who are kind of on the fence are waking up and understanding, wow, I never dreamt that anyone could make Jimmy Carter look Reagan esque. I simply never dreamt that we could have this kind of series of unfolding disasters and disasters is almost a nice way of putting it. What happened in Afghanistan everywhere we look, we see kind of nightmares of historical proportions. And I think that's good for the republic because my thesis is always that we've been so spoiled as a nation that we've kind of acted as though I don't need to do much. We'll be fine. The pendulum swings back and forth. We don't we never took it seriously that we could swing so far away that we swing into cultural Marxism and the death of America, which is where I think we are now. So what are you thinking for the midterms and for Trump if you have any thoughts on that? Well, I think there's some historic changes that the Democratic Party is not aware of. They have been for the last ten years a party of the very, very wealthy, the dot com corporate and the very subsidized poor. And the Republican Party turned into a nationalist workers populist party and it drove out, of course, had never Trump elitists, but nevertheless, part of that is we're starting to see a reemphasis on class rather than race and that's a disastrous for the Democratic Party because race in their way of thinking LeBron James and Oprah or victims. But my point is that we're going to see, I think, 50% of the Hispanic vote and these are people that I live in a predominantly Mexican American community, whether it's outrage about gas prices, inflation, crime, all of the border, and I think that I've never seen anything like it. So I think there's going to be a big pickup in seats. I think they'll take the Senate, but more importantly, they have the, they're going to be identified with a lot of middle class people and race will be secondary.

"Rick walk us through how prisoner transfers usually usually work. Brittany griner goes to Russia with drugs, shouldn't have done that. She's a fellow American despite the fact she hates America. She kneels during the national anthem. Under a normal administration, I believe Britney would already be home. We saw that with the ball brother with Lamar, I get them all confused. When Trump got these prisoners home, but now it seems as if we're doing this elaborate prisoner swap with the merchant of death, how do prisoner swaps usually work and why is this so outrageous what we're entertaining right now? Well, I think the first thing to say is that the State Department has a whole bureau that deals with this detained Americans. And you know, it's a very, very slow process. If you commit a crime in another country, we usually let the other country kind of go through the machinations of its illegal process. We demand access, there's consular affairs individuals, Americans working overseas in the embassies who will go see the Americans detained. It's a very slow process and we try not to jump forward on legal processes. But there are times when detaining detained American is so outrageous that the political types and usually the NSC or The White House jump in and say this is unacceptable. We're not waiting. Barack Obama Was the First President to Weaponize the IRS

"Back to the early days of the Obama administration, you had the Tea Party rising up. Remember that the Tea Party rose up you had these this grassroots effort to try and defeat the ObamaCare law. And Obama summoned Lois learner to The White House and told her to go after all of these Tea Party groups to start investigating these people. And they did. Barack Obama was the first president to weaponize the Internal Revenue Service. I was working at Fox News channel at the time. I had switched over by then I had switched over and I was a commentator, so I was they were paying me for my opinion at Fox. And one day I get a letter from the Internal Revenue Service. And they said, you are going to be audited. First time in my life that I had faced an Internal Revenue Service audit. And the next year I got another audit. And so I went to, I went to the folks, the powers that be at Fox News, and I said, hey, look, you know, what's going on here? Can you guys help me out? Because when you get audited, what do you have to do? Well, you have to go out and hire an accountant. Got to get yourself an attorney. You don't want to be, you don't want to be facing off against the IRS by yourself. So your fork and over a lot of money. To try and work all of this out. And so I asked Fox, what's going on here? And they said, get in line, pal. They're coming after all of us. So not only were they going after the Tea Party groups, they were also going after conservative journalist. During the Obama years, I was audited three times. Three times. Cleared every single time. But it cost me time, it cost me effort. It cost me money. It cost me aggravation.

Dems' Inflation Reduction Act Will Double the Size of the IRS

"This is all going to reduce inflation. It's not it's going to blow up the economy. And folks, if we're not careful, we could be talking about something worse than a recession here. So anyway, a $700 billion in new spit in new taxes, 400 billion dollars in new spending. We're setting a lot more money over to Ukraine, but the bigger concern I have is tucked away in the legislation where and it's going to pass the House of Representatives. Biden's going to sign it at all. There's just no way around that. But anyway, we've got Ted Cruz out there and Ted Cruz was sounding the alarm. Ted Cruz was warning us that this in fact was a danger to law abiding middle class small business owners of America. So the IRS, as far as we can tell, they're going to be given permission to hire 87,000 new agents. That's going to double the size of the IRS. And what do you think they're going to be doing here, folks? They're going to be coming after you and me. They're going to be coming. That's why they wanted access to our bank accounts. They want to come after you the law abiding, hardworking taxpayers of America. Now, again, 87,000 IRS agents, they're going to double the size of the IRS. By the time they get finished, they're going to be larger now. You listen to this, we're going to put this in perspective for you. 87,000 additional agents makes the IRS larger than the State Department. The Pentagon, the FBI and border patrol combined. So what does that tell you about the direction of this administration?

"Ladies and gentlemen you undoubted saw the news. Recently it actually went viral and it was a headline. It came from one or two x reputable media organizations. That's one questioned. The headline was the biden administration had cut its h. b. c. You spending plan from forty five billion dollars down to two billion. I saw it on newsweek. Where i'm sure many of you saw and it was also seen on the associated press. It turns out that headline was wrong and here to explain. Why is one of the white house's directors of public engagement and age b. c. you grad. I believe himself to liu absolute to lookout do glue college and also the divide night. He's a capital trade baker. hey brother how are you. Today dole will do away. I mar. i'm good i'm good. I'm not a catholic. But i got i got rid on so i guess so man. This story came out and people reacted to and had a pretty visceral reaction turns out lurid that stories actually not true right right. Break that down for us what what is what is really well. It's one premature because right now. The the president's entire bill back better plan is is being negotiated in congress right but the president made a a ambitious proposal to change as we see us a historic way with his his funding proposal. And he wants to do as much as possible to engage with and find as we see us at a level for them to thrive in for them to grow and so we don't know a final number on as we see you finding right now and so it was. It was just wrong in and of itself to say that it was cut because nothing has been cut by the biden administration. Nothing has come to the president's desk. The president has come out with a bold proposal phrase. We see us that follows up this this historic funding. That's already happened in his administration and his history of support. Nice reviews so now. Let's go back over the history. The american rescue plan. If i'm mistaken gave a significant amount of relief funding abc's correct. Yes lamerica rescue plan. Game over four billion dollars of funding as we see us of that one point six billion dollars was used specifically to write off debt that came from the capital improvement loans. That people get at their institutions. And so you're talking about dorms. Labs and being able to build buildings across campus and help you infrastructure in vietnam to write off all of that debt in so one point. Six billion for multiple. Hvac us. I think you was forty plus hvac us. We're able to benefit from that alone. So the american rescue plan. Even you know look at the store remark. Just what has been done in. American rescue plan is more than what the stories of saying is coming from the binding administration and so. That's what justin teased to make it. A little more frustrating and then there was grant funding in fiscal year. Twenty one correct yes. There's grant funding in fiscal year. Twenty one to disown about a billion dollars half wits. Five hundred million which was specifically geared towards. Hec use ms is other minority serving institution so that that funding is already coming down the pike not not to mention the funding that was there for the centers of excellence for teachers colleges. So it goes on and on honestly okay and so where we are now is. There's the budget requests. If i'm not mistaken before congress and that's that's where we're kinda hung up right now right right and so was. Is the budget request. That the bad administration may and i guess that include bill back better and all that that's the forty five billion than trying to figure out. Yes that's forty billion the upgrading institutions. Half which again goes. Abc's tcu's ms is and so that number is even you know there's no set number two even pull from that. In order to make the insertion dad has been cut by especially at large number. And you know you understand. People react in the way to do. And that's you know that's a big number this is not the case. There's not the case more 'em ip after this message you could see in tastes bacon from wake. Vox dot com. Graham is available everywhere audio books are sold and so this is pretty much in congress's hands correct. I mean there and is it in their hands in the context of this ongoing debate. This happening now the postponement of infrastructure bill in favor of also getting a vote on build back better. This is embedded in bill back better. Yes this is embedded in bill that better which is which is in in congress's court but with the president pushing his arms and can't to make sure that acu have funded the any so would it be fair to say brother trade. That is not the bad administration but right now we are subject to the decision. Congress makes speak for the administrate. And i just hate that. The president put the marker out. It'll be up to congress to legislate in to get something back to his desk league time. But i guess to frankly the question for some ao and maybe it's not fair but people look at it bad administration you look at kama harris h. b. c. You alarm and all of that. And i guess people wanna know cow like the other issues kind of like for the people. John lewis filibuster. All those issues people are saying why can't biden just do like lyndon johnson drop a ham on these fools and make them do what we need them to do. I think we've seen the the administration come out in full force on on a lot of this. The president just went to capitol hill to talk to democratic caucus about this in employer of the historic opportunity that we have the infrastructure plan. Build back better plans social agenda. That will come up and so that that work is is happening. Dan i think the president is.

"I guess you know for decades really but really ramped up on the last few years. live scientists spoke out including a to us during the trump ears about political interference with science scientific work and career employees. At scientific agencies the biden administration came in promising to turn a new leaf on that front. They try the president. Signed an executive order within a few days of taking office to reinstate and revamped scientific integrity policies across government To sort of make sure that they're starting standards at every agency that would prevent interference in science that scientists have the ability to conduct their work without any sort of pressure that they can talk to the people. They need to talk to that. They can talk to the press. If if you know in the right circumstances and this issue and others that we've seen come up sort of call into question the commitment to that Epa in response to this These allegations reiterated that. They're they're committed to transparency and open dialogue and and providing the right environment for scientists to be able to do their work But you know we're seeing some groups And employees call that into question to some extent You know. I think that there was a little bit more of an extreme situation. Under the trump years because there was employees that were literally seeing their reports Being fudged after they turn manner. They were being excluded from important meetings Or they were being told directly like you know. You have to have this outcome. The sharpie gate situation you know is is one famous example of that although that it was one of many So you know. We haven't yet seen things rice that level But you know the the there's communities out there that wanna see biden really. Walk the walk here and there. They're you know starting to raise some questions as to whether that's happening i think to sort of build on. What what you just said like these organizations like the union of concerned scientists and public employees for environmental responsibility. they're not Some kind of trump aligned set of organizations so when when there's comparative analysis analysis done between the biden and trump administration's yes. There's not a sharpie gate incident. There's not a question about numbers about science science numbers and and measurements but in the individual agencies. The seems to be more. You know still coming out so at some point how do the two administrations compare in that sense. And is it just that the by administration isn't up to snuff even if it's better than the trump administration yeah..

"This exact date where we bring you the federal stories that really matter it's august thirteenth. Twenty twenty one. I'm restaurant for to the biden administration. Promised to listen to and empower government experts. When making policy including the scientists guiding science policy administration officials also promise increased transparency including at the science agencies seven months into joe biden's presidency however these promises have not always been kept in the case of increased transparency epa administrator. Michael regan last month instructed employees to follow epa's eternal deliberative processes in dealing with the press. The suggestion goes against a biden memo on a new task force on scientific integrity that specifically called for officials to quote identify effective practices regarding engagement of federal scientists as well as contractors working on scientific bash agencies with the news media speaking of exact a spokesman from public employees for environmental responsibility as the operative question is the epa transparent or is it still opaque similarly the administration has promised to power government scientists but a recent report from today's guests suggests that is not necessarily always the case. A recent directive prohibits some scientists from discussing their work among themselves outside groups are asking for the directive to be scrapped saying the current system prevents workers for properly protecting the public for potentially hazardous materials. A senior scientist at the union of concerned. Scientists said that the policy is against standard scientific procedure and is hard to justify. The by administration came into office with the promise of centering science more than its predecessor. The with these epa policies in place many in the scientific community have raised questions about these promises. Air covers ep for us. Here got exac. Everything is dylan draft. Of course but the gist is that. Instead of relying on antitrust enforcement as it's traditionally known federal these draft executive orders say should promote competition and everything from agriculture to healthcare by using regulation marketplace. Meghan mcardle carino gets us going without the problems. The executive order is aimed at solving arise when just two or three companies dominate a particular business. The government can us antitrust law in those situations but also it's affected by decisions of every department and the government whether it's the department transportation or health and human services or the agriculture department. All of them can make decisions that lead to more monopolies or fewer monopolies. Jason furman is an economist at harvard. Who served as chair of the council of economic advisers under president obama in two thousand sixteen just months before donald trump was elected president firm and helped craft an executive order that leveraged the power of all those industry regulators. We told every department to go out and find things in their areas that would increase competition. The agency's proposed new rules. One would have let consumers access television without a cable box. Another required airlines to be more transparent about baggage fees yet another would've protected poultry farmers but the trump administration rolled back many of those rules and now the biden administration is looking at reopening the door to new rules in a whole bunch of industries. We have problems in healthcare. We have problems food and agriculture. We have problems who telecommunications diana moss is the president of the american antitrust institute she says with biden considering this order much earlier in his term his administration stands a better chance of unraveling some of the consolidation. That's happened in those industries that is if they can get new. Rules passed the inevitable lawsuits. That could be heard by president. Trump's judicial appointees. I'm megan mccarthy carino for marketplace. Tomorrow the most powerful job on the planet loses a little piece of that power. The job of course is president of the united states. And what is being lost is something called trade promotion authority. The ability presidents have had on and off through the years depending on a congress feeling to negotiate a trade deal and send it to congress without running the risk of congress. Trying to rewrite it. Marketplace's remeasure is on the trade desk today picture. It eighteen twenty eight. John quincy adams is president and congress passes something called the tariff of abominations wasn't formally named that but that's the montrose given out troas past. Doug irwin is professor of economics. At dartmouth congress was fighting over whether tariffs should be high or low the opponents of the high tariffs can adding to the tariffs in hopes. That would become so bad. Other members of congress voted down but instead remember today. This is actually pretty good. So that's why they call it an abomination afterwards it is an example of how congress can mess up trade policy in nineteen seventy four is trade. Deals became more complex. Congress agreed to temporarily give the president authority to negotiate with other countries over trade. Mary lovely is with. The peterson institute. Basically means that once an agreement is reached by the president. Congress needs to vote it up or down. Take it or leave it. Antonio ortiz mena is with the albright group. He helped negotiate the original nafta on the mexican side without trade promotion authority. He says you would never end up concluding negotiations you would be negotiating with the executive branch and then you would be negotiating with dozens of house members and senators too. Many cooks in the kitchen. President biden is leading that power laps now mostly because while the trade deal kitchen is closed. He wants to focus on enforcement of existing trade deals before going through the ordeal of creating new ones in new york. I'm sure for marketplace on wall street today as the first half of twenty twenty one goes in the record books. More record highs. Lots of green. What me worry..

"Analytical. So wanna welcome everybody to another wonderful show guys. How are we doing today. House gordon tonight. Are you gordon doing gordon tonight. We're doing okay tonight. I guess i wanted to start off tonight kind of talking about what's going on down at the us mexico border rick. I know that this is kind of a far far deal for you. You don't really. i don't know if you don't see it or you don't feel as much as james and i do. But what are your thoughts on it. Being three removed from the border guys. It's coming right up. I thirty five okay. Flowing right in to the center of the united states in every town that they can be dropped off in every house that can hold eight or ten people. It's affecting all of us it's affecting jobs it's affecting people. It is affecting the way that commerce is done as far as groceries. Our welfare system is completely overloaded. It is unundated with families of six eight ten twelve kids in a family. We just just called last week to ask about that. And the lady that. I spoke to at the wichita department of child care. Services said that they give up they have no more resources to give out and yet they're still more coming. You read a report. Today that said in the month of february and everybody knows of february's a short month there's only twenty eight days. In february. there was a one hundred saying that came across the border in twenty eight days. One hundred thousand. That's thirty six hundred people a day streaming into the united states. Yes and we're looking at one point. Two million who are year. That's correct over the next four years million. Yeah so we owe nine line right now yes we are and then. We have our our leadership. I wonderful president and his staff who were saying that the border is not in crisis. James kind of care to comment on that you know there. There's the panel. There's a panel going on right now so let me There's a panel going on right now in dc trying to figure out what to call this thing besides a crisis There literally is. They're trying to figure out what to name this thing because they don't want to use the word prices but lynn you deploy fema which is federal emergency management. There's an emergency going on okay. In whether they want to admit it or not you know. Hey it's all trump's fault so they said this not again. I was You know the policies he had in a place that the border this mad. It's all his fault. Well you know it was also trump's fault that the air force one steps were not as thirty. They should have been because you know by trip. All going up this and they did rebuild steps and air force in a stupid about that but this the end the border thing is all his fault. I kind of beg to differ. Because you know we haven't had this problem and when you have immigrants and illegals at the border wary biden t shirts. They're wearing fighting lettuce in t shirts. helped me understand how that somebody else's fault. I don't get that that just doesn't add up to me So in the meantime they're They're shifting so today They spent somebody down there. From the parvin holiest dirty and this guy went down there and said okay. We're gonna go ahead and close close the border we're going to close out about everything's under control down here folks nothing to see here. Don't worry go ahead move well. It kinda doesn't work like that because you might be able to close the point of entry but all the points that were being built to secure the border. You're not floats. They're still coming in and they're not turning anybody away and the bringing kobe and see the united states it looks his just not just for. Mexico is not just folks columbia for people from afghanistan in Wait i This folks have gathered from iraq land in chicago and crossing the border and They're getting in here. Who knows what's going through. Somebody's people might be legit. Some of my be actually looking for a better opportunity but on the other hand we don't know because some of them may be terrorists. Some of you know fat folks across that border. We have no control over it right. Now and fifty percent of our drug problem in america is coming there are crystal methamphetamine and all that other good stuff is coming through the border right. They're making everything is just gonna get worse now. I wanna i wanna make a comparison here. If i can james what did you say. That number was annually. One point four million one point two at the rate is going right now. One point one five or one point two million annually that is double the amount of deaths in the united states from the pandemic. But this is an emergency. Who's reading several articles today on. What's going on down there. And you know they're talking about you know when somebody comes across the border. They're detained. They're supposed to be detained right right. While they're being detained they assess whether or not they are political refugees or whatever the case may be they have gone as far as to get hotels for these people can make a comment on that real quick. Yes sure it's an eighty two million dollar contract to the hotel industry in the next six months. I just got that information this afternoon. "Gonna start off with rick and gentlemen when this nation was founded when the white house was built and everything else that was built around that was built. There was something that they they put down. And it'd become the building and the foundation of what deborah faucet was talking about as far as the foundation skull cornerstone. Every one of us know what a cornerstone is. And right now right now. We need a new cornerstone. Built upon what we as the american people the patriots of this world right now. We need to take what is has been given us from history and put it on that cornerstone and lay a new foundation for us. The american people we need a new foundation laid for the children of the united states. We need a new foundation laid for my grandchildren your grandchildren and if we don't do that if we do not come together and build a new foundation and have a new cornerstone etched with our names and wants bushes and desires as american patriots. We're gonna lose it. All agree james man. I'd say You know the only thing. Well i don't know but one thing trump was wrong about. was you know after. He's out of office that the media will not have anything to cover in is going to be a boring media ratings. A drop in this. And that and the reason i think he's wrong about that is far right. Cnn's ratings have dropped dramatically but the fact is they're not reporting on what's going on so there is so much more shit going on now than there was when he was an office There's so many things biden houston signed. Forty six. I think now executive orders. That does nothing to help us. Nothing to help we. The people and i think that's a major problem in I mean like. I said before. Just just boggles up. It's going to be a wild ride and we're going to have to deal with a lot of dumb shit I think the next day or anything we have on horizon is twenty two. but that's basically it. I mean. I don't. I don't know what's going to happen. I hate to sound like a downer. But this is the world we're living in now and we're under a dementia Administration and it seems like biden's dementia. And i'm not making fun of but i think his dementia is actually spreading through his administration. Because now they're starting to come out of the woodworks on that side of the aisle and it's just it's ridiculous. I dunno it just going to be a wild ride man. We're just kinda deal with this in and see what we can do but hopefully you know our party can come together and you know maybe show. A lot of the end of the tunnel does a train for once. You know man. I just hang in there hanging there. Don't lose sleep over it. Always say thank you for letting me be a part of this show appreciate you guys. Love you to death in you know. Don't let this policy shit run your life. you know. get out there. Go swing on a swing in a park and and try to chill absolutely for. What's going on. I know it's not much. But that's all ago norton closing with everything that we've said i've said tonight. We got to remember one very important thing guys so we have to very closely monitor who we are allowing to run. Even our cities be informed. Know what you're getting yourself into no who you're basically crawling in bed with when it comes to the political aspect of what's going on in our lives we for the longest time. We bled the politicians. Tell us what we know to be wrong. What we know is bad and we've continued to do it but at some point people as uncomfortable as it may make us. We're going to have to stand up and say enough is enough and we are going to have to take miss out of the equation and do what's right for our families and that's all i've got for tonight and i'm gonna dugout out a little early because i've got stuff i've got to do so tonight all you'll take care then i hit job. They're going all right. Everybody remember the twenty. First of february. The women of political analytical will be running the show with rick warn steering the boat so rick. Oh boy buddy you're going to be you're going to be representing us. A good luck with that brother. Thank you for stronger and more secure and courage is man than i am. I think that's going to be really cool for everybody. Please come out live brother. Hey that's okay my live man. That's okay they're gonna come out swinging. Look good you're gonna let you're going have lisa right. Yeah okay k. I'm just trying to count a number. How many is going to be on this show. There's going to be for you. we're gonna live four on here. total so it's you know whoever we can get on here with you then it's going to be forced. It's going to be three of them with you and So yeah but it's probably gonna be really good show. I'm talking just talking shit for the wreck. It will be a good show. It's going to be a really good show so everybody day safe keep strong. Don't let the politics get you down. Remember this is where we can come on here and release and talk about all the stuff that's going on and no we don't care about anybody's feelings just like the show always says and we're going to keep talking and we're going to keep putting things out there and we're gonna be talking and speaking our mind because that's what we do and that's our right as americans and we're gonna continue to do this always and forever and we love you guys. "Tasty treat all hell breaks loose and you need a bitcoin now that Trump is out biden's in everyone can be honest about what they're really doing. The government because now is no longer seen as something he'll would do no and now it as you're brewing your fantastic. God bless america. Thank you so much. Richard branson now openly admitting that this is not about space tourism this his virgin rockets and plane that flies around outer space. It's not about selling tickets to rich russians. Well i think that president obama when they were in office stay and they were. The ones decided that massive putting billions and billions trillions into nasa was not the way forward actually private companies most slightly doing the job much more cost effectively working with nasa. So i think they were both on the same page on that. We would expect that to continue. And you're right. I mean if china or russia you know an enemy state did have a war with with the allied nations. One of the first things they would consider doing is satellites in the sky. And of course one. Of the massive breakthroughs fried foresees virginal. Because we scramble at seven four seven at one us noses in putting new satellites within twelve hours and then another one within twenty four hours and so on lattice a massive deterrent from from an enemy nation lights of america over european countries so so there is another excitement in in the pentagon and then the us epilepsy and so on for for what we're doing. And the first to congratulations was actually somebody very senior in the us client here. This is a big breakthrough. I've been through from from that interview space tourism. I can scrambler seven. Forty four an hour. Tabar up their stat. What a crock of crap. Oh yeah that's what startling is starling is military communications. That's obviously a little bit of it. No i i think it's great people need to see it. 'cause being built right in front of your nose will be launches going up tomorrow with two more satellites. Yeah i i want one. I wanna have startling hella I'd like to see how it actually works. While the beta tests are you know they're saying In rural america most people right now getting about one hundred megabits down twelve to fifteen. That's better than what you can get in most places in rural america. Like you know how you get the to work okay. 'cause you know the original that i have been going on for years. The early satellites day. You have the down yet. Here comes and then when you went to the up it had to go over like a phone line to some some dish someplace. It had enough emphasis. send a signal backup we. We don't get enough. I'd be very careful and making those blanket statements making the blanket statement. I'm not careful. And i don't care but i if we can put it if we have a little dish on top of the house second you have enough power to send a signal and hit his. Hit a bird. Darren at high speeds with internet traffic. I'd be surprised. And i would love it but i wonder what happens when an actual bird flies Just in front of that dishes to get knocked out of the sky so mula cheaper. A little little sparrow goes across my dishes on my roof so the digits bird flies over his Singed said happen. The i don't know the answer to that one but the dish is a very A very effective it's automatically controlled continuously to move along with The constellation and that's that's how the big part of it is that you're not just beaming to one satellite. You kinda gotta go in the general direction. You're always going to be good now. I can sit at. And i have done this I can transmit a signal with a hand held. Radio transceiver and i can hit the international space station. No problem so i don't see how you know. That's that's five watts and that's not even a directional that's just me kind of being a little directional yagi antenna. Then you can. You can do all kinds of cool stuff. So i i or these are very low orbiting satellites as long as you have the right You know high enough frequency. I think you can push that kind of bandwidth through it. Yeah i mean it seemed i mean. I studied.

Trump Richard branson tomorrow nasa twelve five watts twenty four hours obama billions trillions both fifteen first Forty four an hour two more satellites one hundred megabits one satellite russians twelve hours One one

"Dna acuna a analysis from incoming the and. What does the security picture look like this thing coming. National security team mccall. I was thinking today that this is the most relaxed been and of course many notations. I've watched because i'm not responsible tell you i was. I had white knuckles because of the nature. It's so much more difficult today because of what we have seen not just over the last two weeks. But that's certainly has riveted our attention. But because of this growth in polarization in the united states and domestic violence in white supremacist groups. So i know looking forward that the members of the biden team who have been dominated or have been appointed are now moving and laser like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements. That we've seen overseas germinate in different parts of the country and they gain strength and it brings together an unholy alliance frequently of religious exclusions extremists authoritarians fascist bigots racists nativist even libertarians. Unfortunately i think there has been this momentum that has been generated as a result of unfortunately the demagogic rhetoric of people. That just deported government. But also those who continue in the halls of congress and so i really do think that the law enforcement homeland security intelligence and even Defense officials are doing everything possible to root out. What seems to be very very serious. In insidious threat to our democracy in our republic nativist libertarians. 'wow i mean that's pretty toxic. Yeah i don't know that guy that gets airtime. Well he's got something going for him In the mainstream world kate. Betting field is the communications director for I think for the white house And she was on cnn and well you know. We do have to take some precautionary measures because it's slot fake news out there. People lies told for power and for profit. And i heard that as a direct shot at some of the media. Companies lied about the election results. We know who they are. I mean they're they're right. Wing companies are more fringe than others at this point for more extreme than others and so if they continue to engage in lies notice the term extreme being used now for a media outlet. They're more extreme. Now that's all gonna fit in calm. Dvd tv's others. At this point. Or more i guess extreme than others and so if they continue to engage in laws something that he is trying to combat. What is your communication strategy. Will you deny those. Networks any interviews. What happens if they revert to form immediately. Well what look what i could say about. Our communication strategy is we. We're committed to reaching every american. That's another thing you heard. President biden say his inaugural yesterday. He wants to. He called on all americans to work together and i can say as communications director. Our focus is on making sure that we're reaching everybody now. Obviously if media companies are are willfully lying or are not carrying fourth straightforward honest information from the president when we make him available or from administration officials. We make them available then. of course. that's something that we're going to think about. And we're gonna read large is that we're also saw who still uses writ large writ large. Does that even come from. What kind of person uses that. Some corny thing. They where does it come from writ. Large is definitely the political. The politicians on the left have been using it for a long time writ large code clear and obvious in stark or exaggerate in a stark or exaggerated form. I think they mean cleared. A code is code chilling on deuce bag codes of creative platforms that we're going to be able to reach out in in all sorts of ways to meet people where they are. We watch the away but we also don't watch. Cnn people who are on laurel line who were on twitter who are on digital platforms. So we're gonna think comprehensively about how we can make sure that everybody across the political spectrum and in all communities all across the country are hearing from president biden vice-president harris and hearing about the biden agenda. That's all part of the purge and we're not gonna talk to those idiots who Cable news who are extremely you said there. Cnn lady now we're gonna talk to them now. There's the on fox. "Is not. What's happening here gene. How did it go. Excellent very smooth walked in early early. The covid vaccine. There's dry ice in there that keeps you vaccine temperatures one of two. Cvs locations kicking off. What will be a nationwide effort. Virtually administered about twenty million flu vaccinations last year. So our pharmacists have been doing this for awhile. Have you had to hire more people to handle the vaccinations absolutely This is a dedicated clinic. It has its own staffing associated. This fall operation warp speed announced. It was partnering with nearly twenty pharmacy chains across the country. The pilot program. Just getting off the ground. Do you think some comfort and coming to a place. That's familiar very much so sure much much more common than going into Like a hospital. It's something you're used to doing it. But experts warn this is not nearly as simple as just giving a flu shot during covid vaccination in the middle of a pandemic. that's going to be very challenging. They're going to have to figure out how to bring people through their pharmacy. Cvs and walgreens have already been vaccinating at long term care facilities and forty nine states. They say they are on target to get all first doses at skilled nursing centers done by next week but some states say it's been way too slow facing a lot of challenges. I think we have to stay. The course of the efforts with pharmacies are starting to pick up. Now we're seeing good results. The next phase those in-store. Vaccinations people are dealing with crash websites. Phone lines that ring busy. They're unable to make appointments. How can walgreens sure that doesn't happen. It's important to know that we already had this infrastructure in place. We have a technology platform that allows for people to schedule appointments. Registration will happen right on. The main websites both visits can be scheduled at once before coming to cvs. The winegarden heard complaints about the state run system from scheduling to supply. I was skeptical. That it would actually happen. And i'm very very happy to report that everything went better than we expected thursday night. What's your take away from that to native ad. Oh yeah of course it is. It's it's a split native ad. It was cvs and walgreens i. They took about cvs. All great is now and everybody's all had a great time here getting a shot. It's not like her. I walked and walked out and then they did the walgreens plug which is all they have other computers crash in every place that was all. We got computers at work. They've been working for years. We got the infrastructure we can shoot shoot and a whole thing is just like any as i listened to it again. I don't want you to play it again. 'cause too long but it's just a fawning. Oh it's so much better at cvs and walgreens well. This has been a they pay. This is paid and bought and paid for. This is a trend amongst the ad sales of our television stations Local really has been getting the brunt of it. American thing at home are relying on amazon. Millions of american staying at home are relying on amazon. Amazon has transformed its operations in response to covid nineteen to protect employees and keep packages flowing. The company is keeping its employees safe and healthy keeping its safe and healthy and thank you once again producers present and past for making sure we don't have to resort to that lame as horrible scripted crappy ass native ads that everyone else seems to succeed to succumb to with your participation in the value for value model i loved it. No agenda social No jenna social dot com. It's a it's twitter. Used to be when it was still cool before the al goes so the signal to noise ratio was very high. Ever since the big purge. There's been more and more people coming on you start to see more of these. Interactions now that Users are understanding how you can follow each other across servers. He kind of have your own little yellow area your tribe and if other people don't wanna see you then they can block your whole server. That's fine the enough to deal with them either And it's it's this decentralized model. I think works much better so once you go take a look at that no agenda social dot com and then a big in the morning to the artist who brought us the artwork for episode one thousand three hundred and fourteen we titled that one nar and we had a number of good pieces to choose from once again. Correct directed record. I think second wind for this year to correct not have a win earlier. I think this is third over this year. I decided the first climate klaus events planning which is very good. We enjoyed that immensely. But there was a lot of art means take a quick gander. what what else did we look at. Climate is. there's a lot of bernie's but of course that's the bernie sanders. The inauguration slipped into places that's as kind of going viral everywhere. So we had the build back better with smiley face which he used a newsletter. That was nice. Who did that one. That was gang birds lane in a bunch of work. Say anything else that. We needed a honorable mention for or or an honorable scolding. No of any honorable scolding inauguration. Yeah we had a lot of that too. What you just saw some of them flip by using an app from podcasting two point zero compatible which you can find it new podcast apps dot com and thank you dr scott for doing that. Let me see. It's part of our value for value model. Where all we ask is and we've been doing it for more than thirteen years is if you listen to the show clearly got some value out of time is money or value somewhere Then just put that into a number and give it back to us. You can also help us with your time. Your talents such Correct the record or we need those treasures and a lot of people understand this. They know that if we're supported we can continue And we have less chance of being canceled since we have our infrastructure and a big grinches a lot void. Zero bem rose All the wizardry. "For the rest of the population as well make mass part of american culture to stop the epidemic. The key here is to always wear a mask whenever you're in public the ability to control the spread is in our hands and on our faces. I'm sorry that's i thought that was the no here it is. This is it was on. Cbs evening news. This is the what this is the clip. You're looking for dr spook while these new variants we're hearing they're more contagious. Deadly and the cdc has some new guidance about wearing masks with two or more layers. The question do we need to wear two masks nor the science is now clear that mass help reduce bread and the idea is more layers. Give more protection so two or three layers is better than one and the idea is to create a kind of obstacle course that helps block the virus. Now those layers can be a single mask or you can double mask. The fit is so very important. So for example you can wear a surgical mask with tighter. Fitting cloth over it whether a mask have a pocket in the middle of two layers of fabric. You can put filter in that pocket right now. The emergence of these new variants that mullah talked about makes it so important to try to up our game when it comes to mask wearing. It's clear to me that they feel. We are getting too much oxygen to our brain. Assume we were thinking too much. We need a swiss cheese model. Yes three in front of your face. Oh come on now and the science is in the science. I'm a little tired of your science. Please show me the science. Dr fauci stop saying the science talks. The science speaks science does not speak scientists. Not a thing that communicates. it's so evil the way you communicate that it's even science is now so powerful it's everywhere it's in our. It's i mean it's in our lives. Everywhere megan kelly. They find podcast. Who has to stoop to the level of ben shapiro. Read ads did this. I know it's gonna make you happy getting your best credit score. The average american has ninety seven points that they can add to their credit score. Ninety seven. I have no idea how to get it to you. Score master knows how it's not credit repair. Its credit science and it will help you get your points super fast. It's this new credit technology credit science credit technology. I feel sorry for. I vowed i will make. Money streamed her in podcasting two point. Oh so she doesn't have to do this but static. It's pathetic to the masks. I'm sorry A good question showing you the difference between the press corps with the trump administration and the press corps with the biden administration. Now we do. Have jen psaki. Jim mckay who is an expert. She was at state. Department was very good. Great fielding knowing questions and peter doocy of fox news asked the very obvious one it is exactly the same kind of question that would have been asked of orangemen bad. And there's no outrage. There's no follow ups and everyone just kind lets it go. Why weren't president finding at all the by family mass bell times on federal lands last night if he signs water that mandates masks on federal twins had all the inaugural morley. I think he was celebrating an evening a historic day in our country. And certainly he signed the mask mandate because it's a way to send a message to the american public about the importance of Wearing masks how can save tens of thousands of lives. We take a number of covid precautions as you know here in terms of testing social distancing mask wearing ourselves as as we do every single day but i don't know that i have more for you on it than that but of his not just important. Our power sample was that a good example for people who are watching attention. Well steve i think The power of his example as also The message he sends by science signing twenty-five executive orders including almost half of them for related to covid The requirements that. We're all under every single day here to ensure we're sending that message to the public. Yesterday was a historic moment our history. He was inaugurated as president of the united states. He was surrounded by his family. We take a number of precautions. But i think we have big bigger issues to worry about it. This time. major league bullshit want to interject couples as we have to know. 'cause we covered this mass thing for ad. Nauseam mask nauseam. And if you remember the ninety five masks and by the way if any was worn any of these masks an in ninety five being the best example you can't breathe. It works better though. If you get another mask and a cloth mask where the pocket to put some gauze in and add add a feminine feminine hygiene pad in there. While you're at it so you can't breathe if you remember in the early months of this whole thing when damascus whereas we're working overtime during a march april era and they would take the mask off and they'd have this is red line around their face where the mask was 'cause it has to be tight and they're getting rashes and they are. Just your face looks at your somebody out of them and now they want the public to go this route and if mask wearing as a concept in public is in polarizing enough the new york times throws a little bit on top with. This headline is masks. Slipping the new man spreading. Yes you know. How people's mask slipped down over the under their noses. The no no-shows yes. Well this is Clearly Douchebag men who are doing this and i will quote from the article experts. Plenty of women doing it. Experts continually remind us that to protect ourselves and others against the corona virus. A mask should cover your face from the bridge. Venos- to under your chin but too many of us are letting our mask slip. Women wear masks to and of course they sometimes slip. But i see more man's slippage. I see not only news coverage but in grocery stores on the street. It's not all men of course but then not all men take up two or three subway seats. Something about some men seems to make difficult to keep that mask where it should be. What is this is this. Is this emily post daily. What are they put. is this. Who wrote this to not be in the new york area. Who wrote that name. Names doesn't it doesn't say this. Uh it'd be james james gorman james james gorman. He's a science writer at large for the new york. Times zoran the host and writer of the regular video series. Science science take science so he has now He's reporting on the science of men being a holes so they had a series of tv shows the bay area about now the they're going because they feared yet no. Nobody's gonna end. Ninety five is just too hard to get five bucks a pop. Forget it but so they said they were doing the discussions on. You're to mass because it turns out that according to everybody around here.

Jim mckay peter doocy five bucks ninety seven points mullah ninety five masks ben shapiro megan kelly Ninety seven james james gorman Yesterday two ninety five two layers Ninety five twenty-five executive orders two point new york two masks last night

"W i want to thank. My brother looked at tony. Fao g once again. This my brother bullcrap high-fives your bra my bra. I went to my brother at twenty five thirty one game for addressing the executive board sorely early in this sorely in his morning. I was also honored to speak with vice president. Kamala harris in the first hour of her first full workday. Thank you again madam. Vice president got a personal call. Oh cal camera online about you camelot. Camelot camelot or you wanna get together. Wanna hey we should be. We should hang out. Maybe want to get something to drink some time you me. I'm doctor after all but obviously what What we know really happened is. We're on the on the on the on the way up. Now with the numbers going down and this is because trump was censoring censoring foul ci and burks and no one felt like could say anything ever. And oh my goodness joe's in we've got the hundred day mask. Mandate things are going to be going great and everybody's happy and she's letting everybody know. The president sign more executive orders on his first full day in office including a requirement for mask wearing at airports on planes and when using public transportation. This is the promoting mistake. Travel a new study shows. Nearly half of adults don't wear masks when they're in close contact with people outside their house. Holes biden is also promising. Regular appearances from dr anthony fauci who had a rocky relationship with former president trump. Dr fauci expressed a sense of relief. During his first briefing andrew the biden administration was really something that you didn't feel that you could actually say something and there wouldn't be any repercussions about it. The idea that you can get up here and talk about what you know. What the evidence what the science is. No that's it. let the science speak. It is somewhat deliberating feeling. Oh okay a couple of things here one. Is he really telling us that. He wasn't free to speak all those interviews. He did everything he was he was. He said all kinds of things. Yes mass no mass. No mass yes mask. No no no now feel free to speak. We really have to believe that guy has more gall await no no no who has mall more gall is burks burks who was busted violating the auditors of being with your family and traveling on. Thanks with the went to winterized her home. If you recall she was in a winter is it well. She is so relieved that president trump is if out of here in an exclusive interview with face the nation moderator margaret brennan. Dr burks accused the trump white house of censoring her and feeding the president. Paul send rosie data even as hundreds of thousands died. The did you ever consider quitting. Always i mean why would you wanna put yourself through that every day. I had to ask myself every morning. Is there something that i think i can do. That would be helpful and responding to this pandemic and it's something i asked myself every night. This is the woman who resigned to said. No i'm going to go spend time with my family winterizing. The home I'm i'm i'm retiring. I guess she's not retiring. She's back and she has to be back because the mass now that we have a one hundred day mask mandate call. Oh yeah we have new mask information. John get ready. You'll need a pad and pencil as we understand what we really need. Because we've been misled by the trump administration. We have not been told the proper mask to get sanjay. Gupta leads the charge on cnn with pre produced packages. We know two important things. People should wear masks in public and not all masks are equal. Sorry now we have to wear them in public anywhere we go. I thought this was not anyway. The quality of your cloth mask depends on its fabric and the number of layers studies have shown they can be as low as twenty six percent effective but the n ninety five masks at some aides are wearing the white house ninety five percent effective even better than the surgical i wear in the operating room. This is critical in harvard medical school. Dr courant has now advocating n ninety five masks for all if for four weeks. The country essentially wore these masks in those risky settings like that indoors. What kind of difference do you think it would make. This would stop the epidemic. It's an extraordinary weeks. Essentially stopped the pandemic. We're not talking about vaccines here. Are some sort of new magical therapeutic just properly fitted five dollar and ninety. Five mask quo. I'm so happy to know this. There must be something very special about it. He says it's not magical. But i'm thinking these n ninety five masks which we were told we could not have right and we were told we could not have them do to their valve. Which helps you brianna now. No no okay. New ones her different than two ninety. Five master talking about okay valve mask was never accepted right but and ninety five we were also told not to wear 'em ninety five. I saw joe. We're told definitely never get an and ninety five because too many people need them. It's the people in the hospitals that need the and ninety five ninety five shorthand. So what happened is at ninety-five to overproduction. Hey here it is Hey john. We've got a problem on our hands man. We got to produce too. Many of these damn mass. Can you put a call into a to the administration. See we can get a deal here like a defense defense production act deal so we're at the end of the road here so we'll have to get rid of these at ninety five but on the west coast. I don't know if you have a clip about this one but now got all these news stories about how. I don't have one of them that you you were supposed to wear two masks. This is my next clip. That's because he has a secret weapon. A unique electrostatic filter. That traps neutral particles like bacteria or viruses and polarize those particles before they can pass through the mask. Think of it like how sox get stuck to a blanket in the drier if we had better personal protection for people making can more safely. Go back to work. You didn't have to other. Experts have advocated for and ninety five as well like former fda commissioner scott gottlieb who wrote this and ninety five or equivalent mask offers the best protection some european countries are currently finalising rules requiring in ninety five masks in shops and on public transportation and now more than year end of the pandemic biden administration is also ramping up the defense production act to make more and ninety five available for healthcare workers. Who still don't have enough and then hopefully.

margaret brennan John Kamala harris scott gottlieb ninety ninety five percent fauci five dollar four weeks twenty six percent Gupta john two masks trump ninety-five two first hour brianna one hundred day Paul
