"It's not going to sit well with With people after you shoot down a commercial airline full of their their countrymen but So this is kind of like unrelated. But it's it's one of those stories of how i kind of one of those. I didn't have like some massive shift. You know how some people are like they go back to that one moment where like. They changed their opinions and stuff. Because i used to be very row. Merica fuck yeah. Dinner to comb nail deceive mo. The book doodoo. I used to be very much like that when i was younger. I think most people my age growing up at that time. Right after september eleventh. And you know kind of seeing bombs being dropped during the iraq war. You're like was kind of cool. The cd's bombs go off in all. This stuff is. Our soldiers are ticking and they stay was justified in asserting just now but that was my mentality. When i was in high school didn't really know i didn't know anything about the middle east Or or or anything about global politics or or just anything in general as a teenager as most teenagers. Don't know anything But i do remember. I was in. I was in a car with my friend. And you're like listening to the radio and there was a report that the us accidentally bombed the hospital and my friend just like oops but then we looked at. It was funny. We were laughing and then we were like. That's really messed up. This is terrible. Like what are we like this. Awful and i remembered the aderito. A what we weren't we weren't laughing at the suffering. We were laughing at the absurdity of of the presence there and how we say we're liberating these people and then just bond. The hot hospital like that was kind of like it was very dark laughter and i was like yeah like laughing. Because it's just the absurdity of it that's when it kinda hit me there must have been around like i think it was around the time of like when ice invaded.

"Soccer soccer's right up there all those and let's add in the fact that you're doing all these things with the ball on your feet and twenty two players constantly moving a lot easier to catch the ball with your hands than it is with your feet. I think we all soccer players can agree on that okay so you do need that. Athleticism to soccer requires the speed the acceleration the agility the change of direction the quickness and look even decent vertical jump whether it's for a keeper. It's for Centrebacks of strikers. That need a little with a lot of balls out of the air. And honestly i won't get into the details of it now but that vertical force that you put in for decent vertical jump that is very very important here spread speed as well especially your acceleration. Which is huge in soccer. It's much more important to be faster over ten fifteen yards and soccer than it is to be faster over fifty sixty seventy that is one percent true and you can greatly improve upon that ten. Fifteen yard acceleration look and if you have that advantage naturally want to keep it if you struggle with it you want to improve it right and you absolutely can and let me tell you about the dirty little secret. You club doesn't tell you technical and athletically. You want to become a great soccer player. You can't to show up to your team. Practices must follow train program. In addition to what you do with your club. You club is not enough. Average athletes trained with their their teams elite athletes train on their own. They follow a training program. Not only for technical skills but there's quickness athleticism all that and look. We're not talking about hours and hours. I know there's a lot of soccer as it is. But you don't need to do that if you're doing the right thing. It can be a thirty minute session. Okay and it can be a couple of times a week. Maybe more on in the off season about that. There is a huge offseason in soccer. To that point. I did want to let everyone know. Finally impact soccer performances ready have released it to the general public. The holiday deal with the secret link is no longer available there and i just want to tell you a little bit about it. Here's a wrap up the podcast. The whole point of impact soccer performance is to help you improve the athletic traits that you need to be a better player your acceleration to change direction speed agility things like that and you become a better athlete and makes the game a little easier allows you to do more with those technical skills developed with the soccer iq that you develop your vision and awareness and things like that. You'll be to win more fifty fifty balls because you're quicker faster over shorter distances. You get to that wall little quicker than the opponent goes fifty fifty balls. You're losing now. You're gonna win you'll be able to track down the threw balls that were just aderito. Your team create more opportunities. Bigger opponents aren't going to be able to knock you off the ball as easily be able to shield it long enough to keep the ball and make a positive play for your team instead of turning over and of course you also be able to knock bigger upon his off the ball and get the crowd gasping in wonder as you take it away and start a counter attack for your team. You're going to be able to beat defenders and be gone no more getting caught for behind so every time you stuck out on the pitch and training game tryouts you stand out. You get noticed because you're more involved because the truth is soccer. Players are high level. Athletes and soccer keeps evolving. The speed of play. Technically says it's getting quicker getting faster. Athletic traits like speed agility quickness direction power more and more of that or seen in the modern game and soccer players are getting bigger faster stronger more explosive day until you need to keep up with that in order to be competitive not improving your athleticism. You're falling behind in today's games. And so the reason. I created impact soccer forms of simple help. You become better soccer player too. Many talented players are getting left behind. Because they aren't out athletes to coaches. Who simply want easy way to win games at the youth level right. They never get a chance to grow and develop as players because coaches. Don't take a look at coaches. Don't give them a chance. Because they're losing the ball when they're young to bigger faster athletes and it's a shame that has happened but it is happening. I don't want to happen to you okay. So i created impact soccer performance to give you an athletic edge. You need to show off your smarts and skillful. I highly recommend during all interested in becoming a better player. Please take a minute. Check out the page out. Impact soccer performance dot com. And just take a look at it. You learn things you learn some miss athletic developments of things that might help you. And data's it. I just wanted to mention that once again. I really do appreciate all of you to listen to this podcast in those of you. That spread the words. Hey go check this out. This might help. You might help your player. What have you and it means a lot without you. There is no podcast. That's for sure. "Allows the fingernail check. He's kind of a week guy but they'll step pop. You'll be fine. You'll get through this. Let's move on another thing. Is we had brady hall ahead of us in the sports world this could be. We have to check the record books. He again as we had gail in the mornings. Come in and give us five solid innings. So normally tanner comes in and middle relief. Lays the footwork was six outs. We come in the eighth inning and then the closer comes in the closer well. Our bullpen was short. So we brought in brady hall for the sixth and seventh inning. But we can't bring him out of the game because if that according to the mlb rules if he comes out of the game he cannot come back in the game so we're moving him out to right field so like a little seven eight year old t-ball he's out there. Picking dandelions and his glove is on the ground and he's trying to catch butterflies. And then we're gonna come in and get this middle relief or another inning and then we're going to bring him in a rollback rhythm back to right field. Put your glove on brady comeback in and get us three solid outs with the hall. Show the award-winning hall. Show on thirteen ten. Kfi live in the auto collision specialists studio david. We're overachievers don't you think i like to think so. Well we're going to achieve over the next two hours with my. The building may explode. I've had five cups of coffee. i'm on fire to. Elena bad and i went in there. My wife says the me the very first thing. How many cups coffee of had this morning. I said one to three hundred basically. That's what it was but hats off the hillary. Ap they're up there on their way to dance school. Dance lessons to just for kicks in windsor an unofficial plug for that great organization and windsor. Just for kicks all right david. No thank you to ziggys. Coffee as always Our fuel every morning or really appreciative of cameron And the organization branded. Excuse me brandon into cameron can newson for being a part of our show where always appreciate last night. David i spent a little time. Tanner or with clark. Johnson again walked yachts over at the epic ice center. Great little facility beautiful because a great. That was a great environment. I'm minnesotan and i sat in there with a heavy jacket. Cold and seventy eight degrees on the scoreboard. And i made reference undoing a little color. There's no way seventy eight degrees in there maybe in hawaii but it was cold nevertheless number one ranked hockey team and five last year. The runner up state champion to valor christian. They lost in five overtimes last year. They were playing the startup. Resurrection christian high school cougars as is no startup. Well no their hockey team is though. Their hockey program has hired a new coach. They're trying to build. And i'll tell you those four collins boys they're fast they're big I saw it on livestream. You can tell. They were big. And all these people when we look up and all these people that are professional athletes and how we are emulating them and wanting to be like them. And i was like we don't stop looking up. We start looking to the side and clark does kinda look like michael. Angelo picked up a picture. Does he look anywhere near him but he while the guy the paint his picture now would do a better job. There'd be like fancy callers and all of a sudden you get a high school kid. The paint him. This is the champion in our community. That's pretty cool but nevertheless there so many cool things that are going on around is so many people that make a big impact and over the next hour and forty five and change minutes. We're gonna talk and bring awareness to some of these people the cool people. Hey kids i wanted to talk about hockey a little bit more. David was breakdown. Key minnesota hockey iowa minnesota hockey. And the reason. I said i don't know much about colorado hockey bought. I grew up in minnesota. It's cold they should've walked up in the land of ten thousand lakes. That's a lot of lakes camp. But i grew up in a small town of three hundred people and we did not have a hockey rink unofficial hockey ring so the winter sports were delegated to basketball for boys and girls. We own seventeen kids in my high school class until i went to ivanhoe high school in. Yes was that russell. But then i went to twenty thirty one. Oh but we didn't have the resources so hockey to me was a four and thing. We look to minneapolis and saint paul and saw the hockey and hockey in minnesota is king. It is king minnesota state. High school hockey tournament is currently the largest state sports tournament in the country. Beating floral beating florida's state high school football tournament in indiana now this is florida's bigger and football in texas. Yes but here's a stat in minnesota for the state high school league attendants and viewing is even bigger. Then who's your mania basketball in indiana ways. That shocked me. It shocked me.
