"First and second one out Addison Russell the batter another two two on the way line toward left so this is I came into this game over three hundred C. S. it was she the third inning to open it up I would say that I know I am in the baseball context in that I think one thing that we've learned as a society as we try to deal with how to properly handle accusations like this is that is important step back and realize that if you know someone might contact you don't necessarily know them know them don't fully I have expanded my definition on what domestic abuse is people don't deserve to be you know I'm here you know I know I know that you know they're gonna thing you can say whatever they want to say they're entitled to that and I respect him for that but but the thing is I'm here I have opportunity to help this team win so all those are some of the many highlights.

"Is Addison, Russell, noun important player for the com. Yes. Listen we're talking baseball right now. We're talking on the field space ball to scowl is scuffling to say. The least Ben zobrist is not available. In half is in the minor league. Yes. And he's actually starting to do some positive things at the plate. So I, I mean, I would think at this at this moment, yet he is important component to your everyday. Baseball time I looked up yesterday. He was getting on base, whether it was walking or getting another hit. What he's homered in three hundred the last four games. We know guys could get hot. He could easily go onto slump. Course. With with fires to nursing this heel injury and played as well. He's you're only backup shortstop, right? Yes. So your backup shortstop and your three other second basemen that you were counting on to play. Some second base, like you just mentioned, no wrist may retire have still not getting called up. They're calling up James and duty. And, and then discount though is hitting one hundred listen, this is a small sample size but he's played in eighteen games. Forty seven at bats. He's hitting two. Ninety eight with an on base percentage of three sixty five with four home runs. Now, again, he was the direct beneficiary of short porch in right field and Houston and a ban box of stadium. That's a conversation for number another time. But. Look, I get it. If you don't want Addison Russell on your team because of what transpired in his transgression as I've said from the start I got it. I respect your opinion. I never thought that would they were trying to do was rehab, his image to deal him. I always felt and I don't know if he's going to be a long term contributor. But my thought was what they wanted to do is feel has said to us, they were hearing the problem began, they'd like to be part of the solution. They're following the lead of the professionals in this field. I think the goal all along is to try to get at us and Russell back to being the two thousand sixteen version of the baseball player Addison Russell to be that was the goal all along the guy who I thought was going to be can't miss the guy can write a second. That's what Cashman said, when Cashman the infamous story, the cap always tells us, you know, they Cashman, and feel we're talking about a possible deal. Right. And then they were talking about some are John and then. They said, well, we're going to get Russell from the as and he's not getting Russell for some our job. And then he said, yeah, we've got a deal in place where you're, you're getting the next, I guess, Billy bean on a Casteran couldn't believe the cubs got Addison, Russell. Look again. Listen to what I'm saying people, it's a small sample size and his fast as this thing has turned around and pointed in the positive direction. It can go in the other direction because on the field. He hasn't been very impressive since two thousand and sixteen right out of their young play. Of course he's had three home runs in the last four games. He has given you a bump at the plate when you needed it now again, you've lost three of those four games that he's actually hit home runs in, but he has given you something that you needed because you weren't getting it from anybody else. So I look, I don't know what his long-term destiny is. But my thought always wasn't that they were just trying to rehab him as a human being to deal him. My thought all along was the best case scenario is they think that he still has talent locked up inside that body and they can get him back to being the guy wasn't two thousand sixteen. If you can get the other part of his life. Correct. Did you mention his age too? He's twenty five years old who can play shortstop and second base. And if he does then sort of blossom because a lot of this stuff is in the past, and that was present preventing him from reaching his full potential, and he becomes a better person and the old played this perfectly. And again, we all understand his trouble has been self inflicted because he made bad decisions and debate things. So just we understand, of course. But there are a lot of guys who. Who are stars now in baseball and football and basketball in all sports, who were given a second chance, and then made the most of. And that's what we're why we've always been second chance guys. And I'm wondering if people are still now our people, each e like dollar you said to me even you're getting it you about this. You don't like this development like before it was like, okay Addison. Russell may play here and there. And now all of a sudden Addison, Russell may become a daily contributor contributor for the cubs going forward. I just can't cheer for him. I can't do it. I, I don't care what uniform he wears. I can't cheer for him like I want him to be I want him to better himself as a person, and, you know, for him and his kid and everything like that. And for the victims obviously involved. But, but other than that, like, I don't want him on the team, which, which is cool. I mean like I said. Yeah. And I respect your opinion on this. But I, I also I think what THEO and jet of done has has been. I understand why they've done it. And again, they have followed the direction of professionals in this arena. Not just baseball thoughts. This is stuff that, you know that they've been very open and transparent about with him. If you're a cubs fan, and you're like Abdala, have you sort of, like, are you against him doing? Well, I mean, is this something that you haven't been rooting for? Is this something that you didn't want to see, but I mean, as long as they're going to keep them you root for the cubs, don't you want that player to help the cops is long as they're gonna keep them? Because even if you didn't want them on the team. Right. He is here. Would you rather do? Well the not do. Well circle back on the second chance concept, and I think you and I see this, this item I'd I. Yes. In general, terms, but every situation is different. I'm more inclined to be in favor of a second chance for someone who is sincerely, trying to become a better human being and shows significant contrition course. Now I get it. Some of the things that he has said has left people, questioning whether or not that contrition is sincere. But that's up to the professionals that are dealing with him to make those evaluations. And then relay them to the baseball ops people, I'm not someone who believes absolutely every circumstances worthy of a second opinion. I think they all have to be looked at on an individual basis. I like the fact that they made this decision not on their own, but with people who are experts in this arena, right? So I pulled the question is Addison Russell down important player for the cubs. How do you think? People are voting. We have just about a thousand votes in, I, I'm going to, I think there are more people that feel like Adam that feel. Like. Again, the question isn't are you happy that Addison Russell's doing well, or the question is, is he now an important player for the coach, you know, emotion factors into most people's decision making. Sure. So when they're asked to vote on one of your silly polls, I take that back, one of your polls. I'm not. I don't think they see it black and white. I think they see with a tinge of emotion. That is driving their answer. So with that said, and I usually get these wrongs. I will I will say that the majority of people are not. But will, how did you phrase the question is Addison Russell now an important player for the con going to say that better than fifty percent or saying, no, because they don't want it to be so fifty seven percents yet. It is important player for the cubs. So the majority voting. Yes, I want to know how cubs fans feel about this development and it's early, he could go over twenty and be back down to his two fifty average and three twenty on days and be sort of the guy that he's being. And then then you don't know. But again with the scouts. So being awful would happen in the minors with zobrist being out because of the divorce and the drama off the field is this something now that he's developed into an important player for the cubs weather you like that or not. And how do you feel about it? Three three two, three seven seven six wanna get to g Lido to I gotta ask you to I heard captivating? This who's G Lido said that he didn't know a time the game starting in. That's why he struggled early. Did you hear the story? I was reading. Oh, who's that on? I wanna pick. I want to ask you that it's grown. I know it is I mean I have a different take. We'll get to that coming up now with.

"Indeed feeling good indeed over at Wrigley field. Where Wilson controllers is just set one into the night. And the cubs of one on a walk off to one cubs over the brewers the series tied at a game apiece. Harry tiny what's Levin wins in their last thirteen for your Chicago nationally, ballclub how about three walk off home runs in last five games. Yeah. That's that's a good stat. Right. There does that. And now with the victory tomorrow. The cubs will once again have another series victory. Sunday night baseball for Z cubs tomorrow night. There was the highlight moment for me today in the cub game as I was doing. The White Sox postgame show jab on that way. Check post game. Did you like it today? Did you? I did I was and white sex weekly. Tomorrow attempt shabby here, you should White Sox weeklies with Brian Newnan tomorrow. He's my favorite White Sox ambassador. We we will. We will miss you tomorrow. Harry White Sox weekly tomorrow after the show. So okay. There. It was the eleventh or twelve inning today and bases are loaded and there's two out and who's coming to the plate. Very is Addison Russell game on the line. Are you going to cheer for him? Here. It is he ends up striking out. I didn't have the sound. I have no idea if they didn't boom. But that that was that's like the ultimate moment in Addison. Russell should I refer should I not for root forum? I was I was over Wrigley for about five innings on Friday came to the plate. I just I did nothing which is my anything for anyone. But it just felt like more like, I'm definitely not. I'm not if it was me. I'm not going there to share them. I'm not going there to boom. He gets a base it that's gonna win the game. I don't think I'd share them. I just think I would stay silent. That's how I would go about it. I think that's not how it's going to be. If you've won the game, they would've jumped up and down gone crazy, right? What he did what he did. And I still we still don't know the extent of it. You know, we still don't know. Actually, you know, how it wasn't good really bad. You know, I'm a guy that believes in second chances. And I think the cubs have gone. Out of their way to give Addison Russell very big second chance here. You know? I want him to get a hit in that situation. I want the cubs to win. So that's what I'm doing. I'm Sharon for the cubs to win the ballgame. Right. What what was his first night back? His first night back was over three with a walk Wednesday. Right. 'cause I was watching that game. And I heard I I was watching the game when he came to bat for the first time smattering of boos it. Well, I describe it as mixed fair enough. Did you hear the cheers? And you hear the Buber's? What bothered me about that one is? Okay. So you have the mix when he comes up there his first time, and then he strikes out, and then they pile on them. So that's just. He got when he came up and he got when he went back. Right. So, but he got it worse when he went back, and I think if you're an adult, and you have some level of rational understanding of the world, it's not about the result with him. If you're going to boom, right, right? Then then go ahead, and boom, but you don't let just because he strikes out or grounds out or whatever doesn't come through to pile on at that point. Then to me, you're you're just a clown. And and it's it's it's not he heard you the first time you don't need a hammer him when he when he does something wrong just feels off. I I know that all's fair in love and war. And this is sports. And it's and it's professional sports. He gets paid millions of dollars. And he did some terrible things feel the resulted in them getting a forty game suspension. And if you don't want to cheer them, that's great. And you want to boom when he comes to play go ahead, but to to make it about the result. I I don't think that's right. And I guarantee you if there's one more incident with Addison Russell. That you know, physically abusing any at any level. You know, a woman. He's gone cubs will not he might be gone, regardless. I I think you think he untradable do you think I know second chances all the time for guys? So Kareem hunt deal the NFL's a whole nother yet is I mean, that's that's. But. Baseball. Arouse jabbing second chance right here. One World Series was shooting off a gun in a garage. And who knows what else the guy was doing? Closer for we're trying to win the World Series come on over. We'll we'll even give you up a tremendous prospect laboratories for you. No problem. I mean, it's it's one after another. I it's it's been happening in sports for years. I do think now that we know more about how to educate the athletes how to educate not just the athletes, but sometimes it's coaches managers involved. There's front office guys involved, you know, with with certain situations in certain sports. I I'm walking example of second chance. You know? I think you gotta give them a second chance. But I agree with you. If you're gonna bloom if it doesn't matter what he did at the plate. Like if he had homered would people not have been doing him with had been cheering him one that he made? Now, I'm really gonna right, okay. Doesn't make sense grow up. Get get a sense of something. And I'll say this about what happened with the fan at Wrigley this week with the symbol alleged. The gesture white supremacists. Gesture okay. To number one. If indeed that's what he was doing. The never be allowed back in the ballpark comes to the right thing. I do find a little bit odd that we don't know who this guy is apparently they've they try to reach out to him. And if I was that guy, I was innocent of doing something. I would be I would be leading the newspapers and the radio and everybody else don't hey, I was just playing some stupid game. I meant I meant nothing. But it's just weird that we haven't heard word one from this guy. But what bothers me about the whole thing. More than anything else. Doug, Glanville is one of my favorite people in the in in all of this guy. I mean when I first started on the business airy one cubs clubhouse. I remember driving down the wall playing the Dylan son L yet, great great band. Headlight one headlight Marlene is I remember putting numbers in his titles. I remember driving down one headlights playing on the radio Ford Escort twenty some odd years old going. I'm like, oh my God. I got a press pass to be in the cubs clubhouse. This is awesome. And I got to ask somebody for an interview. Right. So here's Doug Glanville, and he's in the clubhouse. He's a rookie. It's like ninety six and is he can I can I talk to you. Yeah. You wanna do it right here? I'm expected say yes, I know what I was doing. I even on a first record of tape recorder or the plug in my and this guy, you know, you right before the game, right? Ryan the club was for. Yes. You want do it right here? And he's just always been this first class guy. Very bright, incredibly smart pen pen. You know, Ivy league school went to college four years of college the war to the big leagues late. He had to work as way through the minor leagues. Never the price processed have been rising and rising and rising working on his game. Earning his way gets his chance plays. Well for the cubs traded the Phillies for Mickey more in Dini. I hated that deal. Even though more Dany ended up helping the cubs get to the wildcard, whatever. Don't. But the point that he's been first class on and off the field his entire career and for him to be in the middle of this whole thing and people are writing on Twitter at him taking shots. Hey, Manny didn't mean anything and that he's I it. It hurts my heart that he has to deal with that baseball. Was seventy two African American players eight percent across the game. And here's a guy who has been a great ambassador for the game. And he's just there to do a job. And you got some Yahoo behind him. Doing whatever. Right. I just hate the Glanville's in the middle of it. All you know, I'm a huge fan of dog. Pam to jersey numbers with the cubs. Can you give me either one? Wow. Jersey numbers with the cubs. It's embarrassing than on this big Doug, Glanville gain. I don't know. Number one. Never one is correct Karm. And then he had another one number eight look at you. Okay. You gotta pass the crown over one in eight, dammit. All right. So that's my that's a little cover. We gotta get into news here. We have time out we do. All right..

"They was Addison Russell yesterday. I thought and coming what you guys think. But I thought from watching I was in Arizona when he had his press conference. At spring training thought he handled it poorly. I thought it was scripted. It was I'm here to talk about this. I'm here to talk about baseball. I'm trying to be a better. It was very scripted stilted practice and came off poorly. I thought he actually handled yesterday's meeting with the media much much better. Does that mean he's going to be the guy that everyone wants to be going forward? It does not that will just be by his actions. But I did think he handled that situation better. What did you think? How did he handle it better because he gave better answers? Yeah. He just looked more because he looked more confident. We'll he's back. He's getting to do what he's supposed to do. Great. I like, I guess the thing that doesn't sit right with me is the fact that this decision wasn't made based on his progress. This decision was made based on a baseball decision. The cubs were in a bind they had to send guys down to the injure list. They needed a roster. Her move. And so Russell is coming up. It's not based on this rehabilitation process. It's based on a baseball decision. So like, I I don't really understand like I understand why they did it. It just doesn't sit right with me. Right. You feeling like cool. He he sounded good in the media yesterday. Well, okay, congratulations. That doesn't really change what took place, and I get it. You could take you can get a second chance. It just it seems strange. Do you? Okay. Do you agree with this statement that if there was no injury that or Benz overs leaving the team he wouldn't be here. Now wasn't as though he had reached this milestone treatment. Are we going to get him back in a bun and we're in a bind, and he's made some progress. Let's bring him back. Right. That's what took place yesterday. No. Well, my seeing it differently. I might be seeing differently to me it just kind of seems like the cubs are saying and doing all the right things. So then they don't get pushback from the media or from the fan base for saying, they're not doing the right thing. But at the end of the day, it's still a baseball player and a baseball team. And they're making baseball decisions. It's really the. What took place with him off the field doesn't really matter. Okay. May would you agree with this? We can't answer it. But maybe it was he was ready to come up. They didn't have a spot. And finally, they did because of zobrist Scelzo and strokes injuries or leaving the team in zobrist case. And so they said, okay, let's rip off the band aid off the scab it's going to happen. So let's just do it now deal with it move on. Yeah. I mean, I'm not going to disagree that that's a possibility. I just think that there's probably many in the fan base who don't wanna see him as a cub ever again or going forward. Right. So if you're one of those people who thinks this just doesn't quite sit right with me. Then knowing that they were in a bind for baseball decision to bring him up probably infuriates and makes those people even more upset at the situation. Yeah. As a you know that I have from the day this first became public. I said to you guys. I think it's admirable that they're going to stand by him and give him treatment. I would hope that if I was in Theo's seat that I would do the same thing. I just would not have in where my uniform again, I would say we're going to get your treatment. We're going to help you become a better person. And if you do what we're is being mandated, we will send you to a team where you're going to have a second chance. It just won't be here. Yeah. You can do that. And I don't disagree with the second chance people deserve second chances. I just I feel uneasy. I don't think that this is one of those conversations where it's yes, or no, I think there's a lot of gray area in this discussion.

"Last night. That was I believe NBC sports. Plus, right. Yes. Last couple of nights cubs have gotten the plus action. Kaby trenched cold night as he was being interviewed by Kelly crawl. I thought it was a really good sort of one eighty from. When we talked to Kelly Crowe about two two Thursdays ago. They was two weeks ago tomorrow. When we talked to Kelly crawls chief sad at that point. Kris Bryant, she had not seen look outwardly more frustrated. And then he said in the post game he needed to get out last. They went there Zona they went to Seattle. His dad came to town when Saint Louis came to town. He was on cap show today. Sort of got the swing fixed feeling better. Now, all of a sudden Kris Bryant two weeks later, Tim and things looks Kris Bryant again, right? And makes you feel good feels matter at time as if they were they were so insistent that he was healthy. You had to believe that it was a matter of time and it's a hard game. Maybe just needed clear head a little something clicked seeing his dad being out west being on the road. That's when it really started at a good series when they went out there. Whatever was it's good now. He's too good. If he's not heard. He's too good. The struggle for for a truly extended period of time. Just is today Carmen Lucas g Lido on he sparkled yesterday for the White Sox. Tim Anderson sound will play a little bit later. But the Top's. For now is cap broke. Is that Addison Russell is back and is going. He has it's been has been official yet guys that he has been I don't know if the cubs released yet, but he's going to be activated here jesse's going to Wrigley as well. And it will join us later in the show and the question that we're asking as a fan. How do you feel at one time Karm first of all when the cubs got Addison Russell? And when I read about him when they got him it was early July, and they they turned some are into Russell. And a lot of people were like, wow, they got this guy that a lot of people believe is going to be a stud, and I applauded the deal then and Addison Russell quickly became one of my one of my top players on the team one of my favorite four five guys. He was young. He was sure handed at short. He turned into in the sixteen campaign a cl-. Clutch hitter. If there is such thing where at the end of the NFL C s hit big hits against the dodgers at the end of the World Series game six to force that game seven. If you remember the blue pit early and then he had the grand slam in that game the youngest player ever hit a grand slam is that right? Think at the time youngest player to World Series. Yeah. And you know, I I thought that this guy was going to be a short for the cubs for at least a decade to me. It was an illustration of everything. Good from feel. Epstein feel team went to Billy being another great guy. Good at his job who started this whole movement. And he was able to turn some are into a guy who's going to be the cubs stud shortstop for many years, then he regressed a little bit, performance wise, and he struggled and then some rumors came out. You know, this guy not serious about work was the out on the town too much. And then we've got the report from his ex wife, and she finally went public with it with the blog. He did that put up the fight with the suspension his served the suspension, and now Addison Russell goes from a lot of people's one of the more favorite players. To like fans have no use for him anymore. Now, I'm pro second chance, and I still believe there's untapped potential front Addison Russell much like some of the other young guys who maybe took a step back Wilson control took a step back last year. Albert bell Maura hasn't. Totally lived up to what we thought he was going to be as Theo's first draft pick. In hap has been demoted there been a lot of Schwartzberg was demoted. So there been guys also who we always vault it up and thought would be a part of this young core for a lot of time. But now there's the second part of this. And there's the off the field part. So I'm always been a pro second chance guy at the guys serious about turning his life around and feel says he has been very hands on with them. So I'm I'm for it. But I wanna know what cubs fans think if you're going to the game. How do you feel about it? I pulled the question. How would you greet Addison Russell in his first post suspension cubs at bat. Tell me if I left out something I just made it try to make it as simple as possible you'd boo you cheer or you'd be silent. Right. Those are the three obvious ones. The I don't know that you need another like you're gonna slam mattering of. I think it's that's under the cheer. I mean like I don't wanna put standing ovation on there. Yeah. That's that's fair. I say or do nothing. And maybe cheers simply because he's the he's a Cobb and you cheer your Cobb Cup players chat would pitches you cheer him to whether it's performance related or off the field related. You will you see the color of your favorite team, or you're more nuanced, and you won't share for him. Well, you blew him. Will you never accept them back three one two three three two three seven cents, and that's hard because it's still your team. And if he does something that helps you win. How do you not cheer in that moment? Again, you might not like the guy or be cheering for the guy. But you're cheering for the moment. It's not an easy thing. That fans have to come to terms with. I think these days, but I think cub fans went through this with the role this Chapman, you might not like it might have sour g a little bit. But you thought, hey, this might be the last thing we need as fans to see a World Series. And it certainly helped and every time he got a big save or got a big strikeout or got a big out. How many fans themselves cheering, you know? It's a weird spot to be in. You might not like the guy might not even be cheering for him. But you're in the. Moment and your team you've got so much invested in your team. And you find yourself cheering in that moment for what's happening on the field. Cub fans, we're going to get to that point without us. And Russell if he sticks around he might never be the player that you thought he was going to be silver that anyways thought he was after sixteen. I'm with you. I thought it was going to be pretty great too. And he's regressed I'm still only twenty five, but he might never be that player. But if he plays enough Addison Russell's good enough where he's going to do something that helps you win a game. And what are you gonna do? Can you really take the approaches that said I'm so mad at I'm disgusted. I well. If you cheered Chapman. Can you cheer Rossa? Stuff happened. What was it? Was it the off season when he wanted to go. Cleaned Cincinnati in the young hadn't pitched for the Yankees yet. How do I don't think he had if I'm not mistaken? It was he was only in New York that first year I came here and happened, right? After it happened. He was a member of the reds organization when the yeah. So to organizations removed, but does that even really matter? I don't know that it does. I mean, I mean, but can you pick and choose like again, if he was putting havi bias numbers, would you accept Addison Russell differently because then when he's regressed it's always like Waddell says is the juice worth the squeeze or he was a thirty home run hundred RBI guy on base four at forty percent. Are you more likely to give a guy a second chance? Then a twenty five year old who is regressed in a pulsar mature. What look I said that's house. Right. That's how organizations handle it. Whether or not the juice is worth the squeeze. But of your fan. I can understand if you're, you know, look, he's a member of your team. And it's not like. We as fans can go ahead and choose a player not to be on the roster. If you're going to support a team, I understand that. So if you want to cheer for that for just the team in general, completely understandable. And if you if you don't want to be happy in the moments when the player does well, that's understandable to hit. I don't think you should say, though, if he's a better player, I agree with you. But that a lot of people operate underlying thing, and whether people want to admit it or not Miller that really is like if you were a fan favourite when the transgression happened, people are psychologically more open to giving that guy a second chance to agree. I would say I again, though, I would divorce it from look I want my team to put the best product out on the field to win. If that's the type of sports fan. You are. I I can understand that. And so I understand brooding for the team. But I don't think you should say that guy sucks. He's got a domestic violence incident. Get him off the team like right? But but if he was good I'd keep them. That's where you have to make right? You don't have to make that that that declaration. You can simply say I'm rooting for my team, you have to make up your mind one way or another. And you say, I don't like it. I don't like what he did. He lied to the cubs. I don't want him here as Melges said your opinion as a fan, they pretend like a matter doesn't really matter. Theo Epstein's, not getting rid of Addison, Russell because billion Berlin doesn't like it doesn't work that way. They think Addison Russell can still help them win. They're going to keep Addison. Russell is it as black and white as well. If you cheer for anything that he does. Well, you're condoning what he did probably not there's more nuance here. Accepting of that know because. So well with but there's more nuance than that. I hate that you like that's a few want to take a stance fine. But if you tell me because I cheer for the cops. And I'm pro second chance because I liked Brandon Marshall coming back from what he dealt with realizing and getting the proper therapy to realize that he had a mental disorder, and then publicizing that it's okay to admit and to get it diagnosed that you have a mental disorder, and it's causing you to act that way to get the proper health. Do you know what I mean stuff that before Brandon marshal was diagnosed he did heinous it was bad. How many guys have have we cheered for who had a DUI on their record who put lives endangers? But they got the right therapy. Maybe there, so maybe they never ever do it again. But yet they go on and have productive careers because they get the right help. Like don't say that. If I'm pro second chance that you. You're condoning, right. F word careful really ticks me off. And I think some people view it through that lens. And I don't know that that's fair either. Because there is an aspect of your cheering for the other in this case twenty four guys you're cheering for like, you always say that laundry that whatever it is. We're we're we're drawn to it or invested in it you love these teams. And some you just have to come to grips with it as a fan. I think Mike's Naperville, Mikey. You're on ESPN one thousand what's up. Hey, guys. So I'll be at the game tonight..

"Why don't they have the confidence that they'll be able to find a way to win without adding players who are facing these situations. What you're taking Addison Russell with the cubs. Absolutely. I mean it's frustrating because I feel like it gets forgotten BUSTER. And I mean, we just had you know. Doing last week with Astros. And even though he didn't come in. You know in our game. It it. It's something that like is completely forgotten. I mean, you take this even seven months ago, and this was I know for you. And I especially when we were coming in Houston. I mean, I had a lot of questions for AG hint hint at a lot of questions for Jeff Luneau. And like how are you allowing this to be someone that you're going to be able to acquire from Toronto put him into your team? And just be like, yeah, we're gonna forgive and forget, and he's working on it. And he's trying to be a better person. What message does that send? And you know, we've seen it now, especially now that the domestic policy domestic violence policy is so newest MLB is that teams are trying to figure out how they handle it even separate from how you know, the league is handling it. I just hate that. Then the day, and I don't wanna soon this. But I just feel like it comes down to winning and where the morals like where are the these are young boys and girls that are watching these games. And what are you teaching as far as you know, what a consequence is for your actions. And I understand that Addison Russell's he's going to therapy. He's on you know, trying to be a better person trying and I I love that. But I think they're also just needs to be a bigger conversation in and around how these guys are brought back in and then openly forgotten of everything that they did. Which to me is the worst part about it. What do you think of the cubs perspective on this? And we we read it from CO. Epstein from the cubs. We talked about in the conference call today. Their feeling is look the supplier who went through this while he was in our organization, we have a responsibility to try to help to make the situation better moving forward for his. Child four Addison in terms of helping him as a person. What do you think of that? I mean, my heart wants to believe that you know, I want to believe that that is their goal. You know, and I hope that it is like I hope that it isn't the fact that heavier bias is there shortstop, and if he goes down, they really don't have another shortstop David Bodey is the next in line who had limited time there, and they will need if you're by. If there is an injury. They will need us in Russell. And I hope that that's not at the forefront of what they're trying to do that. It's more about helping out of Russell his family his child all everything that they're saying my heart wants to believe that I just feel like cross the board when these things have happened. It's come down more about winning games. And what's going allow you to win games and pushing aside with morally, right? Right. Yes. I will see Wrigley on Saturday. He in Chicago. We'll be back in a moment with chase only. But I I want to tell you about seek the ticket industry hasn't changed in a long time..

"I don't think he was an particularly accomplished hitter as it was. And by the way, there's another way for the cubs to play this. And this is how I would play it. If if I'm the PR director for the cubs. So many calls me and says, hey, I'm writing a story about what got Addison Russell suspended. And I'm talking to his his wife, and I think it's his ex wife and other victims of domestic violence what I would say to that reporter rather than try and scare them off. The story is okay. We would like to be have a chance to comment on that piece as well. When can we sit down with you and give us our side of the story, and that's a much smarter approach. And and most reporters will do that. They'll they'll they'll take all the material they can get. So that's how I would play it. If I were the cubs. Yeah. Just as of today he was the suspension is over. And he is in triple a Iowa they're getting really good production of the middle infield out of Daniel skull. So David Bodey, Ben zobrist at second base. And obviously have a bias as well. So I don't expect to see him back with the cubs. It's much easier for them tat, not call him up. Our I let's do this. LPGA star. Lexi Thompson announced that she is taking a break from social media after receiving a slew of hurtful comments following a round of golf. She played with President Trump all of the negative. Hurtful comments came after Thompson was pictured earlier this month at Trump International golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida with the president himself and conservative talk show host. Rush limbaugh. If you John Ireland we're invited to play golf with President Trump. Would you accept the invitation one hundred percent, yes? And one hundred percent, I would not send a picture out of me. God's transcendent the picture out. Oh, really? Yeah. It's Trump that sent the picture, then if I'm being honest about this question, I would have to say after the round if he says to me, hey, John. Let's get a picture. And then he sends it out. Then I look even worse. But I still think I would go I would go I've you and I've always felt different about this. I would go to the White House. If asked. By any president, regardless of who the president is. I don't think this is going to golf course. Yeah. Var that too. If Barack Obama called and said, I want to play golf with you. I mean, if George Bush had it, I mean, if Donald Trump said, I'm in Jimmy Carter said it, I mean, I I want the story I want to be able to talk about like Casey Wasserman who we know a little bit has played golf with like four US presidents whenever he says he played with Trump. I think so Casey Wasserman is played golf with task them by be shocked, if he hasn't because I'm sure he's been to Trump Trump has a huge golf course. Trump Trump has a bunch of golf Casey was a big Bill Clinton supporter, but it might you know, Clinton and Trump used to be really good friends. And I want matter of fact, Bill and Hillary were at Donald and Malani is way. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's before he was in politics. Correct. But that's where I think Casey would know him from from before politics after next time. I see him Alaska if he's ever played golf with president. So you would accept that invitation. How sure I I went went to. the story. You wouldn't just for the story. No. If Trump said, I want to first of all, I hate golf, right? Okay. Let's from said, I wanna have dinner with you tonight. Would you go? No, I'm otherwise engaged. Oh, crazy. You gotta go for the story. You get to see what he says. And what he does. If you want to kill him for go ahead..

"Contact. He's just had. I'm like, wow. It looks like a different guy. That's the best outing. He's had in his cubs career from last year and this year. No question about it. Elmhurst Steve has a comment about our discussion. Hey, I'm her state. What's going on sparky? Yeah. Good morning. You know, I love the way chat would pick yesterday. I I was really hoping he was going to get a start because in spring training. He was good. And and I think that there's a guy who I would never give up and take on the majority of the salary just to get rid of them. Because I think he has a huge upside. It's not like he had a one year. Elsewhere where he was okay now, he wasn't good pitcher. And he had a rough year last year. So that's what I'll come fans are thinking about, but this guy's quality pitcher with fantastic stuff. And if he can locate he can be a huge asset net rotation. I would actually consider having him. If Darvish doesn't get his extra out. And his problem is always almost always last game being theft and where gave up the two solo homers in the first inning. He's usually I three four innings, and then he falls apart something happens, and he falls apart. So I mean, he could be a guy with his. In his early, you know success in through a lineup. I would say he could be a closer for you. If you wanted and have a chat with in that both tation, and if you don't like that I like the idea of treating Addison Russell when he comes back for for a bullpen arm because you really don't have a spot format this point. And I think it's just kind of the fans of soured item to and and he needs a fresh start. I think it'd be best for the team. And Russell if they were to move him for volka. Yeah. I don't know if you get an appreciated the call man have a good week. I don't think you're getting the bullpen arm. You're looking for for an unproven Addison Russell with checkered.

"I just this Addison Russell press conference is going to happen today. Correct. Yes. Yes. That's the the plan at least I mean, anything can change maybe at the last minute. They feel he's not ready for the media. But it certainly that's the plan right now. I mean, if it doesn't happen today. It's gotta app the next couple of days. I know that they certainly don't want us to to extend into next week. When position players report in, you know, baseball's on their mind more more than than ever, I guess. But right now, we're waiting for Joe matter to speak to the media. And then we expect Addison Russell here annual people are already asking me is he gonna make a statement is you're gonna take questions I'd be shocked if he didn't take questions. I mean, I think it'd be a complete failure on the cups part. If they didn't let the media ask some questions of him 'cause you know enough with the statements you've got to face the musical, but more than than hiding behind the statement. So that's all coming. We think nothing official, but it certainly is trending that way in a formal setting here. Just they put them at the day. Or are you guys going to have to kind of crowd around him? How they're going to do this. No, he'll be at the he'll be at the. Clockers right. Just to too many sensitive questions. We're sort of wondering if you us with orders have Scott Boras with the New Orleans something you're your age. It would be sitting next to you on you really wouldn't be. But I think that for Scott, it's probably not. I mean, I don't know. What's the best book? You got all these free agents. He's gotta sign, and he's got to come here and sit with Addison Russell, I mean, I I feel like if this is a different, you know, time he would be here. But he's got all this, you know, Bryce in three four or five other clients to deal with and God knows we'd be peppering him with Bryce Harper questions as much as anything. So I don't believe Scott Boris is going to be your so this'll be a team oriented thing. I know they've been prepping him, and I know that you know, the the viewing public and reported we're all going to dissect what he says it's gonna be difficult task for him. I mean, there's going to be really hard, obviously, he's got more important things in his life story about but in this moment, this is a big big moment for him to start to win back fan. And to kind of get back to some sort of normalcy in terms of you know, being Chicago Cubs. He's still got to do a steroid penis counseling..

"Is the follow up to the Super Bowl where everyone bitches about everything they saw and a little bit. I'd like to resist that. But I do I can't help but feel in this is for every president. And now members of congress are using their ticket to make political points. I just feel that those people who are asked to stand up and bear themselves are just being used reminders of murder. They want to be there. Even if they ask to be there. It's just to me. It's just it. Just can't stand it the little boy with the last name Trump leave. I think it would be it would land poorly if Nancy policy where to have just said, hey, look, we'll take it in writing from now from you. I think that should be considered. But I, you know. Okay. So let me say this. I hope that the when the next democratic president and Republican speaker that the Republicans says we're not going to do this anymore. I would I would love to see the end of this. It's not a partisan view on my part. I think it's ridiculous spectacle. I hate that. We have to watch it. I we have to talk about it. It's just basically a long boring laundry lists speech with some moments in it that they get you get you angry. What was the signature moment of this? I have an answer. But is there anything that really stood out? You for me? It was talking about maternity and paternity leave and then pivoting directly to late term abortions, which he completely misrepresented as the again, going back to rip ING babies out of wombs after they can survive, and when it's completely ally in a fallacy to continue to say that New York and pretend you have passed these laws when we know that these are these are not choices made easily by women dot. Actors. Do you think Nancy Pelosi's clapping at the president was filling that is the best? She could do in that me. Like, you know, she didn't yell at them. He refrained from making a lot of I rolling, and he had a pucker face quit for quite a bit of it. And I think that was you know, the I sign off. I'm right. You're right, Eric, I'm done with it. I used to love it. I used to love the pomp and circumstance trying to figure out Who Wasn't There. But the more I hear the rehashing and the when did you stop loving it? About thirty seconds ago. I didn't watch. I didn't watch much of. If you step back is ridiculous for the reasons you didn't watch it. You shouldn't have put up until Trump. You liked it or I mean, I've always thought it was a great sort of American institutions moment of we we don't have much pageantry and our government. And this is one of the few occasions of pageantry. But it's become a caricature of herself. I don't I don't care who congresswoman of Cossio brings his guest to the house. I just don't give a damn and they're all using their tickets to do that. It's just exhausting. Joe Ricketts ready? Joe records, the patriarch of the cubs organization, essentially, certainly of the Ricketts family. He's no longer in a meaningful capacity for the cubs. Right. He's not the owner of the team. He's not the manager of the team. He's not the president or CEO the team, but the team is in Ricketts hands because he helped finance it to begin with. Anyway, Joe Ricketts insists that it was wrong to judge him by his years of writing and laughing and talking about Muslims and blacks, and Hispanics and disparaging. As a trove of Email or were posted on a website called splinter news. And he now says I said things that don't reflect my value systems. I believe that bigoted ideas are wrong. That's not a good sentence. If you don't see that bigoted ideas and the word wrong are redundant concepts than your value system is a skew. But he said, I strongly believe that bigoted ideas are wrong, dude. What are you talking about how strong? And by the way, if we have a lifetime of you saying bigoted mean-spirited awful things I think we do get to decide that that is your value system. And if it's not what's the point of a value system horrible. No, St. males were just awful, you re through everyone read the whole thing. You will need it wasn't. He a birther wasn't one of the early. Yeah. When Trump was coming out with the birth of thing, he was given money. Am I the only person who it feels a little bit weird about the idea that we don't have any idea how they got this Email, and it's clearly hacked of stolen. We traded correspondence on my show with the woman that wrote that article for splinter news, she said that it was not hacked. It was not stolen a has to be stolen believing. Somebody gave it to her because he had also Ford them and didn't get a lot of people. And that anybody that was on that thread did anybody say, hey, this is reprehensible, hey, guys when you just knocked us son did at one point Peter said dad, you ought to go to snowpacks what you're saying about this one incident has been debunked. And he said, but you're racist. Jokes are hilarious. What are you gonna do? Just not fair to hold the cubs accountable. And what are you can't do anything to Joe Ricketts? So I dunno to see still run Ameritrade or now. I don't think the cubs pattern here right with with Chapman Ross Chapman. And they had him on. And then they were they kind of gave short shrift to Addison Russell. And and then was Dale Murphy and his homophobic seven he's like sort of insensitivity about the cubs. And then on top of that this is unrelated to this totally. But it's changing my feelings about the cubs are going to be doing this cubs. Cable TV never have to buy the cubs as a special cable package, and I'm like come on the little grossed out by this franchise. Daniel murphy. Who's Dale Murphy? Great player for the Braves. Okay. Somebody said this week, though, they said, you know, the cubs aren't lovable anymore. You know, they're winners. And that's good. But they sure aren't lovable like they used to be. And I don't know that. It's there if Murphy has feelings about the gay lifestyle that are different than my own. I don't think it's fair to judge the organization by that. I don't want my teams to have a litmus test for guys who they'll hire for their athleticism. Still get the best athletes win the games. I don't need to know that other stuff and Joe Ricketts. I don't think is a fair reflection on the organization Tom said, that's not us. But isn't he isn't he taking over fundraising for President Trump, which many people considered to be someone who is just like don't like rickets and don't like Trump. But I mean, we we we live in Chicago. Which Ricketts is Joe's the dad the guy we're talking about Tom is the CEO of the team. Now, I decided in one of the reasons I was really against the patriots in the Super Bowl was at their owner was so close to Trump orders quarterback is close to him. And then somebody pointed out to me that the LA Rams owner also. Had donated a bunch of money to Trump and and. You're when you're dealing with people at that level. They're probably going to be major Republican donors. They gave money to the Clintons to I mean, Eric, this is not a helpful. This is not instructive. Right. But but but it's it's an accumulation things like Chapman wholly domestic violence thing with Chapman there. They relief pitcher. They've brought in and it was like, okay. Well. It seems like there's more a pattern here to to the cubs, and they're kind of ethical compass not being pointed in the right direction that that give me pause about. I don't know if it's something that I could like say, okay, now, I'm going to root for the White Sox. Well, that was one of the options on our news click you had four options, you know, go to the game. Don't go to the game. Just go to the SOX games. Nine percent said. Okay. I'll go to the SOX games. Now. Ninety nine percent of getting a bargain to being entertained in parking's great and the food's goose. Is not going to be very good on. I don't think you can condemn a team for the chairman's dad, and even though he put up the money sounds like, right? He put up some really money for it. Are you just feel like Bill? Doesn't it doesn't sort of make you in some ways question, the whole nature of sports fandom like who what are you a fan of you just a fan of the laundry. Jerseys. Sweaty clubs. I watch that is there's something there's something more to your your phantom. You're you're loyal to this organization. Thank you. Eric Zoran the gang finish that conversation. They went on to talk about what's going on in Virginia. By the way. I'm in lying to be governor of Virginia. There's nobody left over there. I really think that the governor the Lieutenant governor may not end up being the governor of the Virginia. Then you've got the attorney general who has his own embarrassing laundry that he's decided to wear out. And maybe that'll be okay. Maybe not. It's it's a funny state Virginia right now, we talked a lot by the way about all dramatic privilege and about the mayoral candidates and all of the scandals that are coming out in Chicago. It was a it was a roaring podcast called the mincing rascals, and you can listen to it right now or later today to eleven twenty three and this is w Steele will be here to give us our annual physical. Now, nasty weather week ahead. We'll talk.

"You got it. I wanted to hear your thoughts on the whole Addison Russell tobacco wished Chicago Cubs. I know a lot of people are pretty upset about the cubs standing by him. But I would like to hear your thoughts on if he complies with everything the MLB has asked him to do should he be given that second chance to play for their clubs, then I'll hang up and listen to response, you got it. I think people deserve second chances. I don't think he's paid enough of a price yet. I think his suspension should carry over into next year. And I think his action should be closely monitored. And if he doesn't do what he and the cubs and major league baseball agree to do to show the mistakes these made he's before and he is read checked his life, and he is going to be a better person. And a less bigger jerk. Denny was all he's not promised anything. The only thing he's promised as he's going to be given a chance to continue to show that he's turned his life around and made amends for the things that he's done wrong. Do I think you should be banished from baseball. No cubs have to make an individual decision for their team. If he's not the kind of player, they want representing no organization, then they should just move on from him. They haven't done that yet. So I'm kind of tipped their hand that they want to give him a chance. And if you're asking me what I would do if I were the owner of the cubs. I would give him the chance, but there's a whole bunch of hoops, the jump through I and prove himself before I would let him rejoin the team and my take on it jammed from Chicago's up on CBS, sports radio a gap. Hey, how's it going good? I guess I have to come back to when you were talking about the baseball in hall of fame and and and Brady and the patriots. Up real quick as the baseball hall of fame. I think I think it's a joke. I think I think the writers they need to get some new freshly. Younger minds of more open minded people. Besides the fact that you know, certain guys Ron steroid. It wasn't. They weren't even ban the MLB, but ceiling was profit. I mean, pocketing money left. And right. I mean, he was behind the behind the scene in full support of all those guys McGwire Sosa. Bon Jose Canseco hot. I mean in in in people can act like can act like these guys cheated go ahead. And and call them cheaters said at the time it technically by rule was not no you are one hundred percent wrong. Technically by rule it was cheating. And and and and and I know it gets a little difficult, and you can you can say well, Barry Bonds would have made the hall of fame without steroids. I I don't I don't doubt that. But that to me is irrelevant because if you cheated that's why you're not in not because the numbers that you got were there inflated there after no you're not in because you're cheater. So it doesn't matter when you cheated beginning. And accumulated on a hall of fame track up until that point it's irrelevant. Once you key to the level. Does guy cheated for me that would disqualify you for as high in honor as the hall of fame, and I get it. I understand if matter of opinion, but I look at it like this. I guarantee there those guys those guys that that there were there were there were taking whatever they were taken amp up their staff. I mean, you couldn't do that. I certainly couldn't. I I was a decent baseball player growing up. I would just goes on. That was never a hall of Famer. And if I took the I still wouldn't have been all now putting into the mix doesn't change the conversation at all for me. Okay. Yeah. And I I also think you know, that is my opinion on that. My other thing was when you brought up Tom Brady, and you guys were talking about, you know, how you you said that he has now replaced Joe Montana. The greatest of all time. And it's it's not I'm not being Tom Brady hater when I say this trust me when I say, this is great. I am well aware of how great ESE is us rude operator. But the fact that people it's funny the same people that say, Michael Jordan was the greatest basketball player ever. It's me. A lot of them. Also are the ones that are saying Tom Brady is great. The greatest greatest football player me. I think it's funny because a lot of those people that talk about Jordan, they say, well, he was six and final Tom Brady elusive next Sunday. He'll be he'll have number four. He'll get you can wave up the number four because they'll have four losses in the Super Bowl. And and it's just it's it's it's funny to me because I think Tom Brady as great as he is I easy top ten definitely argue with top five and greatest quarterback ever. But we better than him. Oh, I mean to me, and I I don't I do not go by championships when I count this. I do think you have to have a championship on your resume. But I go I definitely still think Montana was better. I think my panic can make growth Brady could never stop it. The Montana play. Montana. Play. Brady's got a better arm than Montana. Okay. Then how about Aaron Rodgers? There's not a single. I guarantee if you put Aaron Rodgers you. I couldn't agree with you more. Aaron Rodgers is a more physically gifted has better tools than any quarterback who's ever played the game. But now we get back into how important winning championships are everyone's going to put a percentage of their overall rating at different levels. And yes, maybe irate championships a little higher in Super Bowl appearance. A little higher than somebody else. I think I have a pretty good grasp on it. I'll disagree with those who think that it should be less, and it should be more about who's the physically more, gifted and talented athlete and has more capabilities of doing things physically at the quarterback position. We they all played win the game. That's why they show up every single year. Nobody shows. Goes up at the beginning of a camp at the start of their career any season, they played go. My goal is to be the most physically gifted and talented player at my position this year. Now the goal is to win a championship. So to minimize that. I just can't stomach it. I can't agree with you. I can't go along with what you're saying. We don't like Brady, that's fine. But yeah. Copy of radiating Tom Brady patriots. I've been a jet fan my whole life. I ate and would patch hidden these the greatest quarterback of all time, and he's just widening the gap between himself and everybody else Capelli's up. Jose what up Jodi max, how are we doing? Good. Yo you great wall off, Greg. Oh. Oh, man. It's been a while. There you go you want to go with hipster. He can go at Chris or? And you just did what up? I'm just saying that yes, we miss you saying it other than that. Jodi, max, let's get to the yellow number one starting with basketball lebrons is ruled out again against Phoenix on Sunday. It looks like. Feeling that he's playing the Sixers Tuesday this week might be and he'll definitely be back before the all star game for sure. Yeah. Probably won the most votes in the Western Conference. He did. That's why he's the captain. He and Yannis. Nice. So it's going to be a fun all star weekend. So looking forward to it. Number two. It looks like. James harden, put up sixty three at the world famous arena. Yeah. As a player that harden guy. He's kinda he's kinda hard to stop. Yeah. A lifetime with somebody named Jordan put up those points. And that's when he came back out of retirement, right and five by the way. If quiet Leonard who I think personally is the best defensive player in the NBA. Couldn't hold him under thirty points last night who's going to. They they did nobody in the NBA who can hold him under thirty. I showed we have on earlier. Maybe it was earlier today when I was oh, no, Sean Powell Shawna. Made a great point said he thinks the only guy that can hold him under thirty points is Chris Paul his teammate because he's coming back, and he's going to have the ball that much more and harden won't be hard pressed to take in many shots and does much Z dead so zone teammate might be the only guy to keep them from scoring under thirty points. I forgot this pause on the team. He's coming back on the football real quick. Then I got your classical tonight. Okay. Atlanta that's next week Super Bowl team, which I was going to be down there. Oh, you are going to be that. I wish I'm not. Oh, and I did go to Atlanta, I Super Bowl, many moons ago. Cowboys bill's land back in the nineties would that be ninety three go I believe so. Good Super Bowl town, Atlanta's a good spot to have the Super Bowl and era better. There are certainly worse. Atlanta's a pretty good Super Bowl host and all the other than that. Jodi max, I got you a baseball classics. You know, how we got like.

"He joined cap today. This was Tom Ricketts Sunday, very delicate situation that is the retention as of now, Madison Russell. Yeah. Well in this situation in in these situations. There's no there's no one-size-fits-all answer is certainly no easy answer. In our case. We we talked to domestic violence experts. We talked to Addison multiple times because much information as we could on the situation. You know, the fact is that we have a choice to make the choices you can let the player move on. And let it be his problem or you can try to let the team be part of helping him deal with what he has to deal with. And in our case after all of our conversations with both the the outside experts Addison himself, we decided that the better thing for the player and his family was to kind of help him write it out. And hopefully, he can do what he has to do to improve. And to make sure that these situations never happen again. You know, a lot of ways easier way would be to let them go. And and let him go fight it about alone. But you know, we think he's committed to. Avoiding any type of anything like the closely situations, and you know, we kind of feel like it's the better answer for everyone involved two notches wash our hands of it. But to see if. You know, we can't help and get through this and become a better person and someone who avoids getting himself in situations and doing things that we all signed reprehensible, I do wonder like is is Addison Russell been honest with them. Has he told them has he because at first didn't s and Russell deny this. When the story first surfaced a year ago, I believe he did has he stopped going to them like he served as his suspension while he's come out with a release them. What what what exactly press release? Whatever is actually was. That's what I'm wondering. Like what I'd I'd like to go back. And look I mean, like what the chief said goodbye to a very good football player because he lied to them. They questioned me about it. He said no that never happened in a videotape comes out Andy Reid said. Hey, dude. You lied to us. And they. We're not dealing with this. And they didn't say oh poor Korean. We don't want him to go out and deal with this all by himself poor Kareem hunt. They said we're not gonna tolerate this kind of stuff. And when we gave you a chance to explain to us what happened and your level of involvement. You lied to us. I I gotta say I'm surprised the cubs have taken this approach with Addison Russell, especially when you read the the details of the years of mental and physical abuse. I'm very very surprised. But okay, let's well feel bad from if you have to go and do it by himself g every once in a while you said every once in a while you've got gotta tax Akassan. That's they have right now, they got a taxi cast it. They sit there, and they put it away, and they put it to the side, and they're trying to figure out how to deal with it, man. Is there a cut and dry way of dealing with it? I Don I I don't know that there is. Okay. So they're trying an approach the approach is we're going to keep paying in got. I don't know if he's being paid Karm. Well. Suspensions over during the baseball season. And once base major league baseball suspended. Let me wasn't getting paid last year. And the amazing thing is like that. That stands happens. And then. Somehow. Sammy Sosa can't come back and Sammy Sosas no angel beliefs. I I agree. You know, like, yeah. No angel. I get it. I don't know if he heard anybody either the only person he was hurting himself might have. There's an allegation I'm sure there was different time. Right. What does that mean? Oh, okay. What is the different timing that means in years past they didn't look at it the same. But that doesn't mean that it's again, but you've gotta go with the time frame. I just met there might have been an accusation against Sammy back in the timeframe that it was given out at the same way. Leonard little killed somebody in a drunk driving accident never missed a game. I more meant that. It was a different time more. I meant that when I said Sammy's knowing like I thought you meant the PD stuff kit. Which wage never tested positive. No. I know there's one documented case where Sammy Sosa has ever tested positive. Anybody has knowledgeable. But somehow Sammy Sosa can't go back and get an ovation from cubs fans for what he meant it a franchise. This is dead wrong on that now in that. Sammy Sosa had nothing to do with records. People know he represented the cubs period, you might own the cubs. But I promise you Sammy Sosa represented the cubs on the baseball field and more people love Sammy Sosa and that will ever love, Tom Rick. We we can play that bite when we come back, and then we'll talk some football with Albert breer too.
