"Again. The one and only says there's a whole bunch going on in your life so busy. Thank you for joining me. It's been a bit since we talked. Obviously we are entering. Spring is around the corner. Vaccines were coming out. Things are looking up. So i'm just very curious. How are you so right at this very moment. I'm doing great I feel like over the course of the last year. I've gone up and down many times The pandemic has definitely made different for a lot of people I have been remotely for the last year I was actually just looking through like memories. And i realized from i think yesterday was like the last night i had out a year ago. Where like i was actually like in saratoga at the tavern like dancing there's music playing videos of it and i'm like am i ever gonna get through that again but yes over the last year. I've spent a lot of time in my house I got a puppy to keep me busy. Because i have the time to be able to raise a puppy right now. i have a house and Yeah so i'm doing great. I you know work is great My is gray. I have a lot more than i could ever ask for. And yeah the pandemic has made things challenging but doable. So i think we all have that night that we kind of look back on it. That was the last time that i actually had fun. seriously by my last one was at the sam. Adams taproom at faneuil hall In boston in the heart of downtown boston getting together with a bunch of friends. So i look back on that fondly. I'm glad that everything is going well for you. Lot to unpack there. You got a dog. The job is going great new house and everything. So i kinda wanna start off with. What have you learned about yourself during this time over the last year that maybe you don't think you've learned had had all this not happen. Oh gosh a lot Yeah the last year not even necessarily just strictly around the pandemic just in general personal development that may be being cooped up in the house may may be what what brought it out of me but definitely definitely learned a lot about myself that i probably otherwise dude due to circumstances would have never learned about myself and i i think the biggest one that i learned about myself is to stay true to my values and like be trudeau to who i am. I.

"Heard or getting any next year supposed to say that women are that remark. I don't know where they're gonna put it. Don't tell anybody. I said though i don't know if we're gonna get in trouble for saying that her they They had just happened it that morning. So saturday morning. I got early saturday afternoon. They had already burnt through one of the kegs and had just put on the second keg. And i think that was all they were gonna have so it may not even be on anymore. That's how crazy people were just showing up and buying a bunch of crawlers and their pines. That's the other fun things. That same adams taproom has still not opened up their inside. They're still patio. Only and you show up down there even on these cold today as a cold day. I mean they weren't open today with what day of the week to do so. Yeah i don't think they're open but if they had been there wouldn't people to sit down. that patio. election drinking pints here still showing up and and supporting sam adams at the same adam style. I love that. I think that that is so fun. That cincinnati has embraced. What they're doing down there. Yeah me too. I mean how luckier. We two cities in the whole country. That have sam adams stop rooms and more one of them. And if you go down there now and see that expansion that they're doing to the actual adams brewery across the street i it's it's exciting to see hundred million dollar truly facility so it's insane it's a thing to separate canning lines going into new separate canning it's it's going to be crazy But the fact that they are invested in cincinnati is i. I don't think people respect enough. How much they are How much the hair putting into Being part of the city. I mean we'll just the fact that we have old fuzzy wig in cincinnati where you can't get it anywhere else in the country right now raise testament to that right So what is old feser wig. I'll read the description. Got shot in my notes. It is spicy and bold a big christmas cookie of a beer. Same seamounts physique as the christmas cookie of beer. I don't know if that was actually in the description britain like that. If that's me those drunken. I wrote this bursting with spices of the season and remarkable. Full remarkably full-body. It hopes those long winter nights passed much quicker. The full body hits the pallet i with the depth of malt character ranging sweeter toffee caramel notes. So the more dark E or as my notes say bory chocolate so yeah. I must have been drunk check. Taco knows go then comes the spices in full force cinnamon ginger and orange peel dance on the tongue bringing them bring with them. The celebratory spirit. That goes hand in hand with the season. So it's a christmas cookie of a beer. Is it actually spiced with any of that. Or is it just a straight up winter warmer and they're just doing magic with the yeast to pull all these flavors out. I don't know the answer to that. It doesn't we had actual packaging. We could probably figure that out because it would have to say if it had those things in it I don't taste all of that stuff. It just tastes like a straight up. Good winter warmer to me and it is good. So what's the deal with my understanding is. It was only in mixed packs for awhile for furs. As long as i remembered it was part of the winter. Kind of the twelve pack. You had boston lager. And then winter ale. And then whatever. The couple's seasonal things that they tossed in there one of them always being old.

"In in there in lies the biggest frustration you know I I always use the the verbiage unrelenting in the pursuit of championships it it you look around this week you look around professional sports I think it's usually pretty easy to identify the franchises that are unrelenting in the pursuit of winning many of them may not know how to go about doing it but there is a constant urgency and and and fun bending pressure to deliver results that philosophy doesn't exist here in in so we're told that changes you know you're you're right you're gonna be start building the team to the draft you're not going to be aggressive you're not going to be embracing the more modern ways of achieving success in this league you hope against all evidence that would suggest otherwise that may be a clue for will go off and the people running this franchise realize there's other ways to build a roster and they rebuild doesn't have to take five or six years you can turn things around pretty quickly but to do that it's it's going to involve getting absolute home runs in the draft this franchise hasn't done it using what you can do with humility more draft capital was clearly the scene so far hasn't done and getting established NFL players who have already developed their skills to the level that they can join your team and help instantly until the philosophy changes we're going to keep talking about the bangles are doing these things and chances are we're gonna be talking about more losing seasons in one I hope not lower your he's on the day three with Tony like live from the Sam Adams taproom the Tony info radio show of course you hear all the time here at ESPN fifteen thirty and seven hundred WLW Joe Berle is it I I mean I it's it's beyond debate I mean I think the kid up with the Ohio state chase young as a nice player of the you'd be a great player in the NFL his position though isn't one that would be an immediate need for the bangles and secondly you've got to bring somebody in here to start build in this offense you've got to score points in this league to win and I think we're beyond debate on Joe Berle but I also think there are other rounds in this draft that's coming up and they need to be really really really diligent about this work mall they haven't had a first round draft pick that's had an impact in on all in in his first year in on this team since when what is it bad it wasn't a team it wasn't certainly this year it wasn't in seventeen with Ross I mean you've got to get your first round picks on the field and contributing a media early enough it's a quarterback it's got to be immediately as well now after that particular soap opera on a soapbox opera I'm going to step down I'm going to ask you is this current coaching staff capable of doing that and would you anticipate changes on this coaching staff ugh going forward possibly as early as today no are you doing examine every facet of your organization and if you're going to do that at that has to include the coaching staff no I think all of this would be shocked if anything happened is active to give one point do we we would have found out already and you know I I certainly can appreciate the fact that despite the results you never really got the sense the Jack Taylor was losing the team you never really felt like the effort was waning all those really hokey things but I think what you have to do with him and make his job easier he should be called plates living that being a head coach in the NFL was hard enough being the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals is hard enough having to do it while also game planning on calling the plays on Sundays just seems like an undertaking that might be beyond the current level of experience and capabilities of Zach Taylor so that who is in a Brian Callahan on on the defensive side of the ball and I get to be honest with you I don't I don't know that any defensive coordinator would have had much success in helping the worst defense in the NFL from two thousand eighteen thank you saw some incremental improvement by the end of the year but I I don't know that we were in a room was job should be should be safe by any stretch I think you have to take a good look at the office of one coach and Jim Turner he didn't have that much to work with but this was a very good unit all year long they did get better running the football league this season but do you really want a for profit of line coach in as many seasons I don't know which is pretty rare in the NFL even further from really good teams to bring back the exact same coaching staff from one year to the next so I think I think it will be interesting I wonder if some of the guys that Jack Taylor brought with him or stood on the desk for is maybe the the the rope or the least for those guys shrinks a little bit and I think from a from a technical standpoint the message next season can be a little harder to guard our guys are playing at some point if you're an NFL head coach you have to especially in this day and age you have to get to a point where your you are delivering winds on a more consistent basis his coach didn't do that this year I think most would be willing to give him a Mulligan for that but I don't know that anybody's going to be willing to wait three or four or five years transaction were to start winning football games that has to change very very soon then it's going to have to change with a quarterback who right now is playing college football all right lower your you sound like you've got pneumonia so I'm gonna let you go you got to get ready for three o'clock you do sell like you're battling something there we appreciate the fact that you're playing her for us today all three weeks old no really can I give you a tip seriously yeah I on my show on Saturday well three four weeks ago go to a health food store and get oil of the wild oregano oil of the wild oregano and just put a drop or two that on your tongue it's going to taste file but it's going to help you and then eat lemons just let me just get some of that said person years well I think it'll clear it up in a week oil of the wild oregano oil of the wild oregano I'm telling you I take it and you know I'm so far so good for me not gone for Michael I'm just looking out for your health I'm gonna have oil of the wild Turkey but your your way maybe well "Outs against fan proposed to his girlfriend at the pinstripe things says romance like a lower tier bowl game frozen temperatures in New York City this is sports talk on a Friday night but what you're in for lance lance but he's gonna be back for bangles line on on Monday evening that the season finale of bangles line the last one of your bagels and Browns on Sunday lance on lap three hours wall to wall bangles with assorted guests on a Monday night and I I think I'm allowed to to plug myself if you can't plug yourself who can you plug a Monday afternoon Tony pike the former bearcat quarterback in the Carolina Panthers back the joins me for the of the Tony and football show Sam Adams taproom to your Monday three to six the season finale for us as well so we hope you join us on ESPN fifteen thirty twenty two minutes after six o'clock the the other part of this this Joe burrow the anti judge not really anti Joe Berle I think you get some folks who maybe they they were enamored with chase young and understandably so because he was awesome this year at Ohio state or they see so many of these glaring needs the bangles having they just wanna you know place a higher priority on those but one of the arguments all get against drafting Joe borough is well look fill all these other roster spots get get all these other positions taken care of and then go and get your quarterback then go and get your quarterback and that that to me suggests that one of two things number one that a year from now I guess sixteen months from now then the twenty twenty one drafter I guess maybe the twenty twenty two draft that their quarterback is just going to magically manifesting itself now granted you can certainly get quality quarterbacks weren't taking number one overall the fact bangles of a by past opportunities to take quarterbacks like Pat more homes and Sean Watson Lamar Jackson and they determined that they don't want to go get those guys that in traveling Haskins this year in time will tell whether or not the bangles got it right or wrong I would suggest specifically with more Holmes and Watson Lamar Jackson they've gotten it wrong but the thing that that to me that the the the suggestion that you go when you get somebody else in the draft this year worry about quarterback later suggests to me that you think either one's gonna faulty would some point or this team is going to be bad enough next year that they're going to be in the exact same position that they are right now which is drafting number one overall which would maybe mean that they could draft Trevor Lawrence from Clemson she was the problem with that the problem with that is last Sunday's game in Miami because you saw two things there you saw a Miami team that is trying to tank at least a minute organization that has tried to for lack of a better way of putting it they've tried to tech now they've done it body wisely they've accumulated a bunch of draft assets which minimizes to a degree the importance of getting the number one overall pick they try to take in what happened they found a way to win four games not the bangles maybe the sad thing about this season is they haven't tried to tech right even tried to blow it up in an effort to bottom out and get the number one overall pick the scary thing is that built this team thinking it could be pretty good and well as it turns out they're gonna have the worst record in the league but what did you see on Sunday yes the tried I'm not saying they should get credit for trying what I am saying is taking is really hard to do because the players care too much I was rooting against the Bengals for the first time in my life on Sunday I don't like it first time I I became a fan of his team in the mid eighties as a little kid sitting on my dad's lap watching the bangles wondering how boomer sizing got his name try to get him to explain to me how the blackout rule works I go back that far Sunday is the first time I ever cheer against them because I wanted them to get the number one overall pick and yet players don't want that to happen any don't didn't Joe mix and didn't Tyler ifor didn't there is Phillips didn't not true for about three and a half quarters look like they were kind of sleep walking but you've got to sense listening to guys watching a lot of the post game coverage listening to Zack Taylor hearing Andy Dalton talk there was genuine bona fide disappointment on behalf of the Bengals players that they lost that game the Miami Dolphins this year are granted I I didn't watch every single Miami game but I watched enough that I I never thought that team is trying to tech I have to dot the team Monday through Saturday was trying to take that on Sunday the players were doing whatever they could win a by the way so the coaches what we we talk about taking all the time in sports and and I I I understand why but the the reason why it's not a great strategy now you can you can decide to wisely move on from experienced players with the idea that you're going to accumulate draft picks for the bangles should have done last offseason with AJ green frankly if they can that's what they should do this offseason with AJ green it's what they should do would you know at kids it's what they should do with Carlos Dunlap they should be trying to getting they should be trying to getting younger they should be making an attempt to get younger they should be trying to get younger accumulate more draft capital all that stuff that's not necessarily taking taking is in first our team is intentionally trying to lose I thought people suggest to me over the last few years the Reds with a ten not really I never watched Reds game and thought man the managers throwing the game of the players are trying to not win the front taking teams beds threads of Ben is still found a way to win sixty five plus times every single year it's thrown around as a strategy as if it's easy and as if you can get everybody on board if the idea is push off your your decision on a quarterback the drafting of quarterback until next year's draft you are doing that thinking they're going to be right back where they are right now a year from now holding the number one overall pick and maybe they will be put your leaving a lot of variables to chance you're leaving a lot of variables beyond your control like how good or bad the other teams might be that you play like what happens with the player that you're targeting in the twenty twenty one thread maybe Trevor Lawrence gets hurt a lot to a tech available maybe he does have a very good year what whatever it is the one that is I think the dicey est is the effort of your own players if you're playing on the Cincinnati Bengals right now and you're on this team next year you are going to work your **** off to not be too in fourteen or one in fifteen next year by the way I would imagine Zach Taylor would trying to prefer to not have another one in fifteen or two and fourteen on his resume it's hard to tag the dolphins double in the four wins this year I don't think they're gonna get another one on Sunday against New England but still four wins this year and and and by the way you saw effort from the players who they're gonna move forward with it's all pretty good coaching job by Brian floors where he got his guys to never quit and if a bunch of draft choices this year pretty good spot bangles have the number one overall pick but right now only seven draft choices bottoming out even further first of all do you want to endorse your Bengals fan what we've just gone through I could be honest with you I don't think the Bengals have much of a chance being very good next year I can't do one in fourteen again I can't do flirting with in sixteen I don't want to do I will maybe they can get the number one overall pick I'd like to you know actually take a step towards winning some football games and granted just reading the quarterback doesn't do that on its own you have to do some other things like rebuilding a roster and there's more than one way to do that meaning you can go beyond the draft but what are the odds are not in your favor of getting the number one overall pick next year they're just not it's hard to have the worst record in the league every single year it's hard to do it it's why a year in year out basis you don't get the same team picking number one overall in consecutive years doesn't happen that often so you might not love Joe burrows prospects okay you you you might have preferred the bangles middle build the team differently than you know go ahead and find a quarterback that fits the group of guys they already have it is well let's let's hold off a quarterback for another year do you really want to put that many variables that are outside the bangles control do you really want to put a lot of faith in them and do you really want to try taking which.

"The athletic go to the athletic dot com and follow her on Twitter at SL Russell thank you so much I know you're busy tip off coming up in just about forty minutes let's go back to to Tuesday night to win over Jacksonville I thought for the most part a good performance some stuff to Travis deal you would imagine wants to clean up what was your biggest takeaway from opening night well I wouldn't really impressed by the way did they became out and like the fan you know that that intensity and attention to detail something we didn't need to relax here and it's something that Travis you know I've been harping on all off you can sell for about twenty five minutes he played really well be effectively and that was a huge difference in the game and you know it's a it's an eight and season opener mafia both sides and that Chaplin was disappointed with that the rest of the game with that the foot off the pedal there with defense but you know that to me was the biggest takeaway from that game is how well you're able to pressure the ball and convert that turned over to point yeah they they were absolutely able to do that you mentioned turnovers and that was such a big issue last year the only had eleven on Tuesday night what's interesting to me and I have talked about this with with others they want to play faster but they want better ball security how to the achieve that this year our question I think that they're going to be in as they were trying to figure that out but I think that the players they have the seniors really are leading the way you've got people that I've been a member for years now you know you're gonna trust and then we're gonna Custer ball handlers the country the fires of last year so I think you increase that the temple in the paint I think you're going to have your share of turnovers but the key is to try to to have better presence of mind and to have more complete with your team which I think was an issue last year with that the experiment went through grad transferred you know even as he has a lot you can read this year is really difficult synergy and that chemistry with the team yeah and and you talk about new comers I was particularly impressed by Zach Fremantle I think the trip to Spain just based on talking to Travis deal I think the trip to Spain really allowed him to integrate himself well opening night I I look at what he was able to do at night one I look at what what obviously the game the Tyree Jones had and in the front court I anticipate this being a better Xavier team and what we saw last year agree or disagree completely agree you know it the act is holding it down oftentimes again Hey Rick Jones and practice which is up for a pretty good testament to Hammond the way you can come in here and go get a better player I eat any game is not complete by any means you still have a ways to go on the defensive and but I think he had a good piece of the far corner and you know I think overall that all the freshmen the wonder how he can't he fell out with that a foot injury and being around he has a concussion but he's been out but I think it's all been a positive that winning in terms of acting talent and that chemistry piece which again a lack at last year they did not shoot it well from outside on Tuesday they were not a good three point shooting team last year how much from a year ago do you anticipate that improving this season I think it will get better you know it we talk about yesterday's press conference that yeah yes this is a much better team and that has shown this far and if you look at practice you agree but that's kind of an **** and you know it Petri dish in your playing at the same guys you know what you're going to deal with it's a little bit different situation I think there are some players that are that are capable of doing better Paul Scruggs for example quite good he can shoot better than he shot an office shot last year so I think I'll just take a little bit of time to knock the rust off it just a little bit to the extent the three point line and then they'll see improvement as time goes on okay Shannon thanks so much and Russell covers Xavier basketball for the athletic we have to go by the way Monday afternoon Tony by can I host the Tony imho football shows done at the Sam Adams taproom O. T. R. and it's taken awhile for T. R. to become you know those the vibrant exciting place that it is now and we we wanted to be a part of that and the Cincinnati brewing heritage trail and where that crazy street cargoes so is there got a big anniversary party the coming up yeah yeah yes this month it's it's our one year anniversary and there's always you know innovative beers there the you can't get anywhere else collaboration beers yeah with other local breweries in one of a kind beers so it's a very cool place to have fears that you can't get anywhere else think including Sam Adams utopias all right Jim with that will let you go thanks so much man always a pleasure next time you're in town let's say on and break a little bread have a little beer forget the bread man you're on thanks you too bye bye Jim cook Sam Adams super nice guy he grew up in what the woman hills right say right now that we had sooner as we said we had some of that you Toby earlier and was good stuff good stuff we got into that yeah we got a hidden we've got a hidden around here someplace knuckle head around here is gonna steal it up it out somebody to steal it you know that I am actually betting money our producer who's one of the three people who knows where it is it's going to right the three of us are the only people know where it's at yes and you know what you'll you'll stealin through Stein mineral water totally under the bush there coli man.

"Of that <hes> the mango vibe. That actually went very well now. It's delicate you know i. I don't know if it's sold better than the. I don't know if it sold better than the cans behind the bar. You're you know that's the question that my so my goal was to you know get it and get it noticed enjoyed it but we crush. We do three dollar cans of all the time. Ah fuck it in the cans. Give you the option for multiple flavors whereas on tap dan you'll get one flavor or where you get like generic any place. It's incredibly hard to lock in the pressure to port at the truly was getting ready to launch their truly on tap or whatever and whatever that i've seen on various to how they're going to show that they're not doing flavor at the base and then they'll have like people use simple syrups in that so i think i'm pretty sure it's available spots around town. I think the habit i have not tried truly early on tap. I don't think i just can't i you know i know we talked about this a little bill maher braxton but i can never find that situation where i walk into a taproom or a bar bar or a hell brewery especially when i'm looking at is really want really want hard seltzer for me i drink but but like i wouldn't if i'm going to a brewery is typically going to drink their beer if i was going to a distiller i'd probably going to drink liquor or just go somewhere else. Now where i find it like for me like you know by the pool <hes> honestly i don't really you know it's funny. I don't know if i've ever ordered one in a bar. I see a bunch of people don't yeah yeah. No i hear all the time. I don't know if i if i would but like you know what i wrote or with his like if i'm having dinner in that because it doesn't fill me up so i've never been a big eater drinker and sometimes i get you in trouble <hes> so you know if you can like switch over for a little bit you know just let the stomach expand <hes> aw i'm sorry i was down at sam adams taproom on saturday and i'm trying to remember if they truly on tap. I know saturday so long ago. They make make that truly in cincinnati knows don't think sam out. I don't remember seeing it there. Then sam adams would have to buy it from the distributor right pretty sure they don't yeah i don't. I don't remember seeing it but that's what i was sitting here trying to think not are i saw headed when i was down there yeah so <hes> but it doesn't matter as a matter of taste buds on what's his fucking sit. Just adjusting to those things are happening is is got to be. You got to kind of the head of them. I mean like so you gotta see them before. They blow up. I've been talking about celtics for a year and a half. Now i wanted one lasts up you know so like and then i was i was like maybe i'm wrong. I've been wrong before when i thought something was going to hit two out. I mean that's <hes> but you know when you see it happened in like i. I was like wow these numbers numbers. They're just very very <hes> very reminiscent of growth of craft beer was doing you know seven eight years ago when it really i started. There was a pretty good seen before breweries like rear. I mean fuck. That's why a lot of people know if you're going back to the oji. People definitely no copies because there wasn't place they have a beer. I mean i mean people from like westside drive here like once a week because there was like a selection of alcohol. You really didn't drive past anywhere that had us. I mean that's one of the jungle little gems okay but that's a different setting different environment. <hes> it's hard to even categorize us as the same thing i mean. They're like one of the largest grocery stores in world and you know we're like small liquor store on the river..

You're thinking about what you wanna do this weekend? It's going to be warm. It's going to be in the eighties this weekend. Where do you think about having a Sam Adams beer, that's dedicated to Ruth baiter Ginsburg? She's eighty five years old. She's a feminist icon. And now she's the inspiration for a Sam Adams beer. They say that one of its latest bruise will be these court Justice, Ruth, Bader Ginsburg, beer, it's going to be named when there are nine after a response against Berg wants office offered to those who asked when will there be enough women on the supreme court? And she said when there are nine the beer is supposed to debut today. So if you look at I think it'll be debuted at the same Adams taproom. I don't know if it'll be out and about in stores, but it's called when there are nine KFI in K O S T HD, two, Los Angeles. I think she should get her own beer traffic there, Robin.

"Because I'm pretty sure while it came out I had Amy Gregory from the Sam Adams brewery, analyze it before we actually put it in the bottles. It came out officially at nine point six, but it's really good, which I'm sure we talked about on the last show when we were here with with wrath of this are too about how great Sam Adams has been. General those guys are awesome with I can't say enough good things about I just after this last week, and I was down in Asheville and talking to a lot of Burris down there and kind of exploring the differences between our beer scene, and they're piercing and what they're doing right. What we're not doing right on a couple of points. But one of the things that really struck me about them is how close everybody is like that. And I was at a high wire if you want to hear some of that stuff. We'll have some interviews with high wire on drinking with the gnome. Launching on Saint Patrick's Day, but I was talking to them. And and when they opened up their production facility part of it was a big lab upstairs. And they hired a guy that it never really, you know, ran lab for never started with definitely. And there was some stuff that he just didn't understand and they were kind of talking people around town and Sierra Nevada. Well, just sent him over. We'll train him like just send him over. He can work work in our lab for month. We'll train them and make sure you knows what he's doing. And then we'll send it back, and that kind of stuff just gets kind of overlooked of of how close this community is absolutely. If if it wasn't for people like that, we would we wouldn't have any idea. Right. I mean, I you need cooperation like that. And they're they're so such a great operation to do that. And I truthfully I. I didn't have anywhere to actually send it. I really didn't know what to do with it. And they actually I reached out to Brian sprints. Who's of Newt ref which used to be the assistant brewer to the barrel house down on thirteenth. And he he said go over and talk to her and and see what you can do for you. And it's been a great relationship ever since she's done very well. And and just again, very nice people to be with. They are all about beer, if you don't try and go anywhere, they they are all about beer, and so they should be. I mean, it's cool win. You know, everybody was here's that saying of the rising tide raises all ships. It really is true only see places like that that understand that embrace that. Right. The better this community is the better it is for everybody. I've actually met Jim cook a couple times the owner of Sam Adams hanging out with him. Once he is good friend of mine. Okay. A good friend of mine. Really, really know. Better guy to talk beer with everything. He really oh. Yeah. Enjoys it. He's in as in Tuesday, ask about anything about beer, he's on it. So I like that. I like that too. Because that's where I'm coming from. I like everything to do with beer now. Some people wanna mix that with spirits and all that. That's okay. It's I'm not worried about that. I'm more worried about the brewing end the know what what to do what flavors mixed with other ones and how he did that. So as we were talking about earlier the last podcast you had with a Chris Sigmon lose now on the same Adams taproom side. And he was talking about that they dicara all of their Bruce that they do because they they perceive a particular difference from it, but that's such a much harder way to brew. But I'll give it to them. Exactly. I give it to him. For that. But the way he's got a pretty fancy brew house may not be harder for him. Maybe a little more time consuming..

"For me to my finger on it. But it's like we're all kind of in the same boat. We learn what's going on with the company we understand. Like what's going on the industry? Gets everybody on the same page. Everybody on the. Yeah. But it's like. We like I know now like. Kinda losing here. Kind of forget where I was going. But basically it was kind of like. The brewing side, you get to see kind of innovation side you get to see what else going on. And basically just kind of know that we're on the forefront of innovation like, we we see what's going on. Like, we understand that. We see these trends like much as Sam Adams is a big entity a big the big machine of sorts. It's made up of lots of lots of little parts that are all kind of working together in the same. Exactly the same big unit of of a company and then of craft beer as as a whole guess. Yep. And like literally the innovation department. If you go to Sam Adams in Boston the. Facility that they have there is like state of the art they have a Nanu brewery lake here. But instead of all these firm enters they have like one barrel fermenters, and they split that brew into all these matters at different than different things flow from one batch of beer, you can get all these different variables out of. And it's just like, you know, that to me is like just constantly constant playing around is the right word because it's very it's playing playing around like as a geek gets playing Cleland. That's exactly what it is. Where do you see again, this is very opinion based, but we're looking at Cincinnati as a whole the city has changed a lot in last ten years. Two last year. But where do you see this community going as a whole? We we've talked on the show a lot about beer tourism. And how to how does the city become a beer city like Asheville or Portland, or whatever it is. We've got the beer we've got the breweries. We've got the people we've got we have all these pieces, but yet has all come together yet. Saying where does it go? That's actually a really interesting question. I don't I personally think of really this is a big part of it. Yeah. I mean, I think you're right. I think we've got the Burris we've got I mean from what I understand like we've got the come rotary of breeze. Maybe just the consumer embracing or knowing what they have on their front doorstep. Maybe like, maybe that's that's a great question. Not really sure. This time in five years. How many do you think we will have since? Three hundred and eighty. How many street corners are there and will one of those the owned by big beer? That's the twenty percent. That's all for you. Do you have anything you want people to know about? Sam Adams or just the Sam Adams taproom, the Nanno brewery with this as I feel it needs it needs a little. Old name that Lou tells us that it's difference. Not this isn't they all work on us. It's also. I called see tap tap since Tabora. That's. Really just if you haven't been down here just come check it out it kind of speaks for itself. So it's a beautiful place. Hopefully, you'll enjoy some of the beers. I create outta here. And if you haven't tried any of the other same Adams beers, their absolute amazing, so and a lot of time and effort went into them. So just come down. Check it out food trucks pretty much every weekend from what trucks especially once. It gets warmer. The patio be will be game. And we'll be as. The ranks rooftop and the same Adams patio will be the two best places to grab a beer not are in in the the warmer months. So if you like to drink outside, which who doesn't like to drink. Definitely come down here when the weather's warm. Grab a Boston lager. I know that the stuff that you make your little more proud, but come and grab a friend Brinson long. You try it if you haven't had in a while five February. Yeah. Promoters? Capone and drinking very much.
