When you hear schwarzenegger no one else has that name. So it's like oh it's a good name for him because he made his park. So that's why i was. Like you know what aquaman is fine. Even though i'm not really like incredibly fond of it no one else has it And so that's also why during the bank. tv show. Like i would make fun of it with chirons and all that kind of stuff into the punch shake bag. They can make fun of you but you make for yourself. I guy ugly us non-sequitur just remind you just have moved onto a story. I know As about nicknames. Paul only names the punch schwartz. Here's your twins. Is that where you're gonna ask. Yeah was he. Gene gyns demi moore demi moore. I've i read something really weird about her because someone was talking about an early eighties movie and i was like oh i haven't i haven't seen that movie. So i looked it up. And demi moore wrote songs on the soundtrack for which movie for this early eighties movie airing maybe shoving can look it up. But it's but because her first husband where she got the name more like was a record producer or whatever she started off before she was an actress like writing songs fours even acting. "Episode fifty. Oh it is. It's episode fifty. Thanks for reminding krastio audiences. Well thanks guys. And i lost my train of thought i mean. The studio audience is through our transitioning. Oh yeah we're transitioning so. I've been reading a book. Technically listening to a book called Extreme ownership is that. Because you can't read. I know it's more like just because i don't have time really. This says rx bar. As am i right. No i only listen to books. Because i can digest them a lot faster case in point. I've been reading legit reading. Not just listening but actually reading a book called Motivational interviewing and the fitness and nutrition industry and the book is not thick. And i've been on it now for title better part of three months. Okay because i get to read for about like ten minutes before. I go to bed if i'm listening. You commute style. Oh my gosh. While i oh the long while i walked the dog and make dinner while breakfast. Yep been listening to thanks. It's called extreme ownership by jaakko willink. So he is. There's another guy. I told you this yesterday. We said lee. Fair is not only very which i said i don't think so but the book only gets accredited jaakko willing so i really did want to get the other guy's name but regardless that's not the point if you google extreme ownership by chocolate you're gonna you're gonna find the book his navy seal. We've had this discussion before to. Are you an ex navy seal or once always. I don't have the authority to make that decision. Just gonna say you're once. He's like xavier move. Yeah and he does. A lot of speaking and he does the seminars for businesses primarily on taking ownership. It's a really cool way of saying taking responsibility but taking full ownership of everything that happens in your business to say that if you are a leader anything that happens underneath you in the business is entirely your responsibility and the more you own that the better off everybody will be sales if i'm and it doesn't matter like you don't have to be the ceo. You could just be the leader or the the head of your department right as long as you're in a leadership role you are responsible for anything that happens below you. If an employee doesn't know what to do it's your problem because you haven't told him what to do if the employee messes up your problem because the employees wasn't clear about how do something so they messed up and maybe even more so than your problem. Would you say your fault when we lead into this episode. Yes i would say your fault. Great segue adam. Great so maybe think about as the hashtag adulting thing ask we see on social media's nowaday which would join causes me to cringe a little bit because it's like filing my taxes hashtag resulting made my bed today hashtag with word a bowl of cereal. Hashtag these very simple things that are you know normal expectations for human beings to do in a civilized society right yet. We think like we're special. Yeah or achieving your doing something extra hard and so. I think that the the bar responsibility has been lowered significantly. Yes someone. I think we see that. Nowadays many of our young adults none. Nobody listening to this podcast. Oh mostly if they listen to this podcast. This should just be redundant but we can look down on these and other people that will remain but you see just like a lack of responsibility. A lack of people wanting to take responsibility for their own actions for others actions. They want to shift blame. They wanna play the victim card of all sorts of awkward. So where do we go. One thing that i do and make very clear based on the last episode which said last episode that i will always be clear if the purpose of the episode is not to walk away with something very practical that you can change in your life. I don't think this episode is really designed to leave you with practical steps that you can take in order to accept more responsibility in your life. I think the purpose of this episode is more of to create a paradigm shift in what you start to look at life more as your responsibility than things that happen to you all right so tell me if you think a fair statement we've gone back and forth about this a couple of times so let's see if we can. We can agree on this. You are responsible for the outcome of every decision that you make. I think that's fair and almost everything that happens in your life is the result of a decision that you make think that's fair you think so while especially the older you get. I mean obviously when you're a kid you have less control over that kind of thing. But i don't agree. I think even under those circumstances the child decides whether or not they do so consciously decide to obey the parent okay and so therefore anything that happens to. The child has resigned as the older. You get the more control over some of the variables but okay. But i agree with your sickening okay. Well let's the end of the three. So i wanted to go through a few examples that we could try to come up with that people might say that's not my fault. Want to throw the blame at somebody else which we would see as a lack of taking responsibility right and i wanna talk through and see if we can agree that actually because it's happening to you in your life it is your responsibility your fall. That had happened. Which is the shift. I think i think we we love to shift away from its natural. I love to do it to is to shift away from. That's not my fault. Don't blame me for that. I got when i can pass responsibility to somebody else or pretend like i'm passing responsibility up somebody else right later. Case in point. Richard comes up to me last week. Richard with one of the coaches here at the gym at industrial athletics. Hey great plug adam. Richard comes up last week and says i want to do a social event. Can we prevent. And i said yeah no like what you thinking. And he said well. Let's do it on july the fifth. Because everybody's going to have that day off because it's the fourth of july observance day.

For the shoulder dip got in there and sniff that out and just completely slammed the Green Bay Packers screen. Have you noticed one thing about the man? Emmanuel? Mostly this year, he always sniffs it out. That guy has got an unbelievable nose for the football. They had no chance. Blocking him on that quick running back screen out to his side dipped under the block, tied and tackle for loss to make this third. Gotta be ready for the screen game. I don't think that was a 20 yard plus a complete shanked by J. K. Scott, who is sick. They weren't certainly could front today. With the flu, and he also shanked a 33 yard right before halftime here in a week 12 and I got the 40 Niners an extra field go so the 40 Niners will start a green paste 34 yard line. Hey, wanted Kevin James got five interceptions on the year. He's in man coverage on the crosser on Emmanuel Sanders. And he just uses every bit of that six foot three inch length. It was able to get his hand on the football You'd like. See a little more air under that, If your Jimmy and lead Emanuel little bit more a lot of real estate out there in front of him. That is great work like that. It's so hard in man handle a ship across there like a receiver like Emmanuel Sanders 63 £200 prototype high cut corners from Bishop O'Dowd. 40. Look, It's my factory back on the 36th teller now because that pushes him back further away from the goalpost in terms of field goal range they master just pumped. It's now 54 yards going into the wind here. 40 Niners. They could take this down to the end of the quarter and go the other way with the wind at his back, so maybe when they flip it, they will kick it the other way. But Robby's not made 50 or longer all year. Why, and I know Jimmy thought he could get some escape ability and run away from mackerel. But smart thing right? There would have been just to throw that foot ball away. Once he got outside the pocket, they would not have had that lost yardage. This's Of the first quarter. All right, so we'll change ends now, and they will be going towards the South Uprights and Robbie, possibly with the wind at his back could attempt this will see what Kyle does with Richard Hightower's guide and share the 40 Niners special teams coordinator. Has the accuracy as the district has made a 50 yard now and he picks a big time for his first championship game, and I would have been good from 56. Good snap. Good hold, which now ski spins. It gets the laces facing forward a lot of good arc and lift on that one Bob shot by Robbie Go right down the middle. He looks at everything, even on extra points. If he sprays him a little bit. "John Thompson in Raleigh for the two thousand eight first round classic between Davidson and get exactly ten years in a row the tournament for the Bulldogs of Gonzaga from Spokane Washington they were a ten seed last year and one out in the first round but a three seed two years ago when they made it to the Sweet Sixteen Davidson in the tournament for the third year in a row while and matter of fact look I'm not sure southern conference team has gotten the Sweet Sixteen you're probably correct about the about a dozen right now these exactly when they get out there without looking at statistics restart the play to give the flavor for the game this game really from Davis and I love to upset because I'm still within striking distance the three figures which he said bred we can start to get your friends involved in these things will change okay well here we go second half third place Davis is being very patient right now that's the way they've got a place to take remote of course Davidson jumps out and prove your job will be paid for the victims of vocal greeting as well without the ball forty one thirty nine and they cut it to two in a big hurry a little overly aggressive David pendergraft reaching in committing a foul on what Dale and his pendergraft second will feed now a close eye on the team's files because it again is close coach who gets to the foul line issue one one M. and Davison can't afford to lose progress with this is the role of the significant factors for them on the boards and defensively in the late and here comes transaction related we've basically been billed for close to the data five Richards collapse bubble wrap gets the ball down the gray another three in the left corner he has been absolutely unconscious the freshman gray is six of eight from three point range to occur you should raise a charity to remove mold so now down low looking for standard of all knocked out of bounds by Pendergrass of Gonzaga transaction seems to be a lot more physical and Davison isn't particularly as we go longer into the game the business is a lot of players tries another three hang in his face and it's good to see both of those shots executed his third shot himself holding our prayers we shoot the ball the bird flu flu could open the way for now the other end here comes Bolton for Gonzaga and he gets the ball out the park row on the right side now pendergraft if the three point line and back to Fargo and Fargo a little ball fake takes it down already so calm your soul right John for instance the ball up which is a great thing to be sold stroll out to pendergraft long three on the road for Gonzaga's David pendergraft look to set it up Fargo the statement posted users to react without it is forty seven forty two again Zack about five Davidson curry trying to get into the elbow and he drew the foul they're going to get harder over that one that's his second and Boris men the rebounders gonna come back in the game now for Davidson moving without the ball has to do with time and I love the fact understands how to change his pace to quit once he sees is open the gift shop but first Jason Richards the point guard the left for Davidson gets the screen comes up three for three on the left no good with a hand in his face in the rebound tipped out of bounds by Gonzaga and it'll be Davidson's wall I think we know what the Davidson strategy is five number thirty and getting a shot posed no question because you're coming down the stretch those players who's supposed to be the best players go behind that a moment like this in particular tournament like this really bothers me when I see a guy was the star label who didn't really give himself to the point of release drawing attention by his activity Jason Richards trying to convince the official at the ball I hit the ram which would necessitated new shot clock because right now Davidson's got eighteen seconds on the shot clock this is a we've got another game of playing my best self so that's let's not argue about seventeen seconds right now Sanders bobbles the inbounds pass could not hold it and it's stolen by Gonzaga did matter with whose name has been officially it is a physical game but not through physical to the president and his whole Bolden with a jumper from the left baseline for dragon good rebound about Boris medal for Davidson how to Richard's trying to run away so now we got a turnover of bombing violation against Davidson you can hear the reaction of the Davidson and North Carolina fans will argue the good things that happen when they recently tried to push the frustration for so the ball comes to Gonzaga in the frontcourt Boland pendergraft a quick three on the right no good the other vice shot and three rebounds for Davidson they are down by five left elbow jumper by curry in and out again no good receive news you can get it off the dribble but still they should report to them I don't think they've since had success with Zack at the other end Bolden used his shoulder the public defender free cattle in space on the baseline and drove to the basket forty nine forty two Gonzaga now metal at the head of the C. for Davidson slips and write the policy Gosselin two dribbles hands at the Richard Sander you don't want to shoot from there back down in the corner for curry gray on him right through the hands of metal on the low block books look what I dropped and it is free about the related to a trouble ticket to the big guy this guy the seals bear guns that go the other way Pargo penetrates izombie fans and a jump stop the left side of the P. and got himself followed by Max Collins Gaza you know a lot of god's will realize sometimes with a person to a big the big guys holding somebody on his back so we will put the low price you can release the guy you got a hold of the press almost fifty spoken like a big guy he said people on his back you know god god god before press is good it is for December god this is good news for the pressure of my you have to avoid the man the slide on the back of the receiver through Texas hill for players who do that Margot made the first free throw Davidson three subs as coach Bob McKillop was trying to keep the legs fresh and Jeremy Pargo making two foul shots he has seven points and Gonzaga leads by nine fifty one forty two Zagros opens up again there's also well spoilers you indicated that moves out of these guys have been in this tournament because actors played in some pretty tough competition little rattle our goal called for his second foul and Jason Richards is going to the line where he was four of five in the first chance for Davidson there down nine but now they're down eight years since the Rev Davison makes this referral whether they'll go back to that little token pressure that was so effective form in the first well he missed the free throw and the ball inbounds often zag a man off the Davidson so we'll find out this time which is so important because it will take about three fourths but it's just not those older kids in the it is fifty one forty three Gonzaga and now is bold and tries to work the offense files called on Davidson's Adam Richards well that's three on the head of the snake the man who operates the point for the Davidson Wildcats Jason Richards I was trying to figure out the root system in about lotus coaches a lot of no I mean it was kind of those you got to be kidding me love yes the inbounds pass sales for the rebound mystic was mugged by part but no whistle you hear the Davidson fans reaction has been zagra brings up all the front court will simply move apart though we don't get excited about everything now the left hand corner Heidfeld back to Fargo three on the left perfect he's he's fired up the verify that there's some problem with the term pretty soon because does I just picked it up a little bit more port with a click of a profit yes they are with an eleven point lead and now hurry on the left to the key kisses it off the glass and drew the foul what you guys do too because I just have so much more liberal probably will have to step up to to really get this too warm for businesses yeah coach Thompson.

"Is going to the line where he was four of five in the first half for Davidson they are down nine but now they're down eight Kirsten C. Davison makes this referral whether they'll go back to that little token pressure that was so effective form in the first time well he missed the free throw and the ball went out of bounds often zag I've been off the Davidson so we won't find out this time which is so important with the arts really because it would take about the three fourths but it's made the mantis not those older grades of the for a it is fifty one forty three Gonzaga and now is bold and tries to work the offense files called on Davidson's Adam Richards well that's three on the head of the snake the man who operates the point for the Davidson Wildcats Jason Richards server for your computer the richest brown in about those coaches a lot of no I mean it was kind of those you gotta be kidding me love her against the inbounds pass sales will rebound misstep was mugged by part but no whistle you hear the Davidson fans reaction has been zagra brings up all the front court really looking to implement a part of me don't get excited about anything now the left hand corner the highveld back to Fargo three on the left perfect no he's he's fired up the verify the business of problems with it pretty soon because of that this is going to live a more port with a click of a profit yes they are with an eleven point lead and now the curry on the left to the Keith kisses it off the glass and drew the foul brightest future because that is so much more liberal areas probably will have to step up to to really get this thing going from Vegas.

"Can watch the rest of your body. We're talking about. Oh, yes. Next time she's in here. Jared katie's in here don't back out. And when she gets mad at me say no, Katie, you're panicking, she, yes, she was a panic mode because I will say this, dude, she would date, and then put up the stuff, you'd put up. Oh, yeah. Katie now would never put up with but is because she was in panic mode, I guess I put up with this. Yeah. Issue at Ben who's, like the nicest do this of everything that she's ever dated as far as she is. So lucky. She Ben for that. Too, because he got a super hot, you know, radio woman that a lot of guys would be loved. She married, she married up, so katie's. Yeah. Really, yes. Anyone who marries up is lucky Willie? She did marry up at now, I think she's looking great and she's doing really well and she's taking care of herself better. Now. She married and I think he's happy with that. Yeah. Well who does Mary down? My wife is. Scott personalities or. But I'm happy. Yeah. Right. He wanted. That's the goal you wanna marry up. All right. Who played Harry Potter that is Daniel Radcliffe. Daniel Radcliffe were recapping pop quiz. True or false. Bill Murray, does not want to make another Ghostbusters movie. That's false. He's in your hundred percent. I think you saw the female female Ghostbusters was disgusted by. He was wasn't he they asked him to play like a little cameo. I heard it was the worst Ghostbusters or one of the worst movies of all time. Did you see? I thought it was mediocre was mediocre cast part of it was Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor played like this dumb receptionist as dude it was. He was funny. The rest of it. Did not like it really is. Okay. I would never watch it again. Yeah, it wasn't the what DJ. And then if you Google Bill Murray. There's some crazy stories about that. Oh, yeah. Being very shady pass breath. He gets a pass for it. Gets a passerby like this likeable fun, dude. He's always drunk. It seems. Yeah, his ex wife has nothing nice to say and call the police on 'em couple times all alleged. But some people say he's gotten past with the whole like domestic abuse thing freely. Yeah. Police records and stuff. I believe there's all these stories about, like what a bad dude. Bill Murray is. But he gets a pass because he's funny he's. He's. Really famous brother, too. And of course now that I'm on the spot. And I said out loud, I'm trying think he was in Wayne's world. "Illustrator you you can put a baby in nappy and leave it on the beach fine. The same just without the weather. Oh, that's a nice though. Yeah. When is that when did you become an an aunt? Nearly two months ago. So I'm still yeah. I still in that absolute just new person mowed my twin units my twins. But he'd be g got the thing. I've I find it incredibly. Psychologically, inspiring would be around children and babies because this they just do whatever they want to do that did not suit it. Yeah. I don't know anything like they don't even know what the hands are. Yeah. But they you can see their minds working can see them putting together the world from its most kind of. I think we spend. I think one of the reasons why life passes foster and foster as we get older subjectively. Speaking is because we're very good at efficiently. Routine. Ing things turning things into routine. It's why when you go to a new country, you're more exhausted. Because you're noticing all the little things that, you know, eighty percent of your life is going passed in the periphery of your vision in you, not registering at you're not noticing it. It's all getting put into this kind of. We're very efficient machines. So it is it's interesting to think about or to see a baby and realize, oh, yeah. I had to learn while my hands were and what they were meant to do. You know, I had to learn what if art was that it was coming from me. And then then the social significance of what it is to do a fat in public. Like all of that stuff is learned. That's amazing. That's amazing. It's just a joy. I love this either hands off fuck. This is my hand amazing thing in the world. And a feel like so much of life is restraining is being restricted restraining, our cell euro woman. So you have to be quiet, and you don't laugh too much, you have to wear Scott can't be too long to campaign to show and you have to do this. And then there's whatever you get from your family like this is this interesting story and completely relevant to your baby story now gone, but I was talking to Adam Richard who's a comedian in stralia. And and he was talking about how he gives advice to young men comedians, particularly overweight, young men 'cause he's on the larger side about how they should dress onstage. He said they should dress in button-down shirt, and jeans or slacks rather than a sloppy t shirt because everything you wear on stage is a costume, and you can dress. If you dress neutrally, but respectfully the audience reads that from your thing. And I said what about women what's neutral for women? And he said, I'm sorry. And unfortunately. The female body is a cost you. Everything you bring on stages of prop everything you wear on stages. A costume and women's bodies are seen as a choice, and the choice that says something about themselves. And I think is so for example, like a really obvious example is the fact that. Some women two or three or four women can wear the same clothing. And it will mean something different. If you've got big boobs that top will make you look sloppy. And it will make you look like you mean to look slutty, you know. Yeah. And then there's the stereotype of which might be true in some that the women will see you as a threat and the men will see you as a sex update. So they won't then they can't laugh at you. If you look. Yeah. That's in this laze in lazily lays on top of that. But just this idea that it's not just what you choose to wear that is a language, but that it is perceived to be for women a choice to wear these body that they are wearing now is a bit of insight for me..
