"Let's talk to Bob. Sagging how you doing Bob. I'm damn good. Yeah I am working Doing I I'm working out. I have a new hour of standup. Which is bizarre to me. Because I'm like every four year guy when it comes to a special So because I do a bunch of other things that are garden work and and cleaned Deli slicer at different Deli's around the world but Travel the world cleaning slices die when I was a kid slices finger right off. I cut my hand right through here Well actually I didn't do it on the SLICER I. I asked me to slice their canned ham. I was really a Deli clerk for six years. So lovely story. I had a great upbringing and I had a trade. I'm still in the amalgamated meat. Cutters Union absence. I really am amalgamated. Meat Cutters on a leave of absence. And that's I I'm not kidding. You might be my shows I explain. It is important that I have trade. You know this show Biz doesn't copy making sandwiches. There's no back filet a noble locks but that really hits a big party or demographic but we had the shows have been. I didn't think I'd be doing stand up right now. I you know I'm working on you think you were done like. I never thought I was done. I mean I couldn't help but it is always some form of something a guy I'm starting a podcast is to try to drive you guys off the air. You mother fuckers. I'm sick I'm sick. Famous we'll talk about my mama what we did But barstool is. You can't mess with you guys. You're man who building at his rats in your bathroom. Smells like my grandmother's P. Oh well maybe your grandmother Peden. She's gone forty years but all right. Here's the with really member through. Wow that's what happens when you got cubicles of people sitting in our chair all down a laptop laptop it's a crap top barstool solid barstool. But but I do our like tonight. I'm at the Music Hall in Tarrytown New York which is where the Headless Horseman in that story. You know You know historian Yeah Hollow I didn't either. It's right above it. -Chusetts no I can tell you the truth because I read about it so I could be educated on your podcast. That it is his headless horseman. Hashing right our really know his name. But I know crane was the guy that was Skinny Slough trying to get them But I just hope you don't come to the show tonight. He's got no head. How's IT GONNA laugh and you know a life cycle no head? It's terrible and then Tomorrow night Friday. This is your plugs to our night. Friday I'm in Inglewood New Jersey at the Bergen of center for the arts a called the Bergen pack or something for I guess. It's the Burger Performing Arts Center disfigured out and Saturday Atlantic City at the hard rock. Which is the best hotel there? Now I'm told Yeah and I'm going with my buddy. Mike Young who I've been torn. But since I met him when he Was a writer and entourage and I was kind of like that guy a little bit. Unfortunately yeah we had a good time good time. The audience was diverse It was interesting I don't do political stuff in my standup good that I don't wouldn't be a problem. Well I'm this tour doing is going to go for a while doing cannon a couple of weeks yes it's a good city. Canada and then I'll be gonNA to Rhode Island. I'M GONNA end up in Texas because I actually love Texas but these things are Austin town. I think Austin's crazy overrated. No you're wrong I'm not I'm definitively right I. I've been to Austin twice and Austin twice. I've been there over forty four times for like a week at a time. I know everything. I'm a millennial I've been there twice. I as chocolate cake once. It was terrible eating it again. I propose that it's a great place and and Dallas and Houston are Houston is just well. It's it's a little bit like a Phoenix in Texas. Sure UNAFRAID exam Blah drive in Phoenix. It's people that are trying to do jobs and make a good living and be able to afford a house that's fine. It's all well and good. That doesn't make it like in Texas can secede from the Union if they want the whole state pastors ready to want to see. I don't know what's going to happen. I want to succeed. I WANNA suck anyone see and get pregnant through my mouth. I don't know if you could say that here. They live. Fuck you on whatever you want when you when you when you went to the bathroom here yes I did. I went in and check my hair because they had headphone here. didn't know. I was GONNA ask you if you wash your hands. Do I watch a lot of people? Don't wash their hands the time to wash your hands is before if you're at a you're before you touch your penis right. I like how you hesitate wanted to succeed and get pregnant in your mouth and you like pain. Because I didn't mean to say that this kind of stuff that I meant nothing by it. But I'm a good person upstanding citizen so I think you need to wash your hands before you touch your wiener because you know where your hand has been. You Shakin tons of hands and everything. You're taxing everybody and everything you don't know they were on a flight and somebody flew in from China and that person sneezed on their hands and they start all over the place hunting the in front of you. That's apparently that's not supposed to be done. Where do you fall in that? This is a full blown. I don't understand how you can fall anywhere on that except the guys at Asshole. Yay and all of a sudden airline President says well. It's a policy to ask the person behind you can recline. What's no more one on? This earth has ever heard that. I think she's a lady and I still believe in that. Yes women should have completely everything but you there. You don't I mean you don't hit a guy you definitely don't hit a lady. I was raised that way. I mean some people are raised to hit. A lady was their dad. Beat the crap out of their mom and that makes them a accomplice in a way. I mean they didn't report it. They didn't call child services. My Dad's beating the shit out of my mom And it's awkward. Because they just had sex. I don't know why maybe that's why maybe something didn't happen right. It's probably 'cause dad couldn't do it. But this lady laid back and I think after you get punched for about half an hour in a good hour bodybags session you kind of bring your chair about halfway up. That's the only thing I know I adapt point. I did all the way back. I might agree with you. I might agree with spiteful lady behind you and you're going to recline and she's very attractive or dude bind you that you like. You know that way then. I wish the seats go one hundred and eighty flats Your accent in their lap looking there to top if it's a dude because you can't say anything anymore that's a problem comedic. Louis with that. I just a lot of thing I did a show in carte blanche you wanna who though they want it sometimes. I never told the aristocrats short except in that movie. I did it one. Time and someone's wedding Those the after party so but I mean I I. I only heard the joke once before. It was just a moment in time and it was about freedom of speech. But you can't make that movie now. You can't show that moving. I mean you can. It would be a stopping of your feet to what's going on in the world. I just anybody that suppresses freedom of speech if it's what I find funny what I don't WanNa do I want. I want the audience to find it funny too. I don't WanNa say anything. That four people are hurt and I had a couple of things like that. I mean I had a bunch of stuff like that. And that's right a new our to go out there and don't let yourself say your old stuff really so I take out as much as I can of my penis and but I put a little umbrella and this is the one joke that everyone's well they were depends if I have the pin spots If I have the you know the spotlight appropriately I do puppetry of the penis. I make him talk. He says stuff that's a show. I would watch the really by a specific person. There was a movie years ago a million years ago you weren't born. It was called the groove tube. Nobody's old enough here to not know. And the GROOVE. Tube was a comedy movie. That was really funny and it was like pre. Setv which you hope you know. That's what John Candy came from Martin. Short and Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara that was this amazing Toronto Group and the Group to was a movie that was made and all of a sudden. You're watching something and you think it's a puppet and then you realize it's a penis and balls dressed up and it was Richard Bells irs comedian. Richard Bells is peanuts and balls and he then got tested for cancer. So he can. It's one of the few people on this earth. Take go back and watch an actual feature film with his fourballs movie. It's Idaho Movie Pena Smoke. It's a it's a penis movie you know. It's many many comedies. It's been yet and I don't often holds up but it sure was funny. It's like the Jackass. I think it was jacked as to when they have a dress up his dick like a puppet put it in a snake cage Oh yes and just like nipping at his bag. Yeah just bites Seattle. That stuff I don't know I don't like actual real cruelty. I can't why he's willingly putting its own stable. You're right yeah but I mean and I love Johnny Knoxville. That's we were raised on that. That's why we're fucked. I understand I I. I watched it. And he's actually a friend so it's like I can namedrop like nobody's I bet you can bet you everybody right. Yeah a lot of people. No one who's ever going to like not hang out with you will yeah. There are areas you. I'M NOT GONNA I'M NOT GONNA get a I mean I don't think Christopher plummer he was nominated you think Joaquin Phoenix's let you in his party. I don't WanNa hang while can't drink. Remember to thank anybody on the film but himself you know and unfortunately I think that's not. He's got some issues so I feel bad. I feel bad for him But he's a brain actor Bryant but I didn't.

"Were in a nice tinted sunglasses and or glasses and you had kind of a Beatles haircut. He was kind of a mess. I tell him often. 'cause it's still that way. No Man I tell him often in the coolest thing about him on haircut. Oh yes he is just like this guy. Good haircut as a kid so auto better than Dan had so he created this show. Yes and it's got NBC. Commitment to your season has happened. We did a season and a thirteen thirteen starts in February. And it's you and Fran Drescher place your mother. Yes and who plays Your Father Steven Weber? Wow Yeah Abby Elliott plays my wife. It's nice yeah I like her Jessy. Hodges sister great to and then like you know we got Richard kind coming around great. Yeah Awesome. It's it's the best I really watch. What see what's the pitch is so it's it's I'm moving a very happy life in Connecticut and doing what? What's your contractor? I'm making a good living beautiful kids beautiful wife and my parents go broke and have been broke for a long time in lying to us and they lose the house and they move in with us now are they like histrionic people they like. Is it over the top? Kinda like what did Your Dad do he? How did he go broke? Well he just in plan. They had no time. It's he's not like I blew it all on east near you had no retirement plan and And then my mom busted her hip it soul cycle. They had no insurance. So it's not too broad. No I mean there are broad broad parts. Yeah like it's it's very. You know even looks vintage in that way where it's like is there seems like a classic NBC show. It is in the most comforting way. And I kind of what I wanted to do. I wanted to tone down a little from the I had done a couple of things in a row. Everyone's saying like big shot big swings. That didn't quite work out. Which ones those I did a time traveling. Show with Lord and Miller on Fox. A couple years ago that just didn't work out And then I did a show last year on Youtube that I really loved about A hip hop entourage where the main rapper dies. The entourage just like fend for themselves and that was like a big crazy swing and that's workout and so I had like Kinda eat you know I kind of like went for now. It was time to. So it's like you. You see this as something that if it works could be kind of a stable. It would be nice for a couple of years. Yeah I haven't had that in a long time. Yeah nothing's Mindy. Yeah yeah probably and I would like I am you know. I don't I'm Kinda not ambition is is waving constantly with me. Like what's what's your in terms of your creative drive a mini. I mean this is like the plight of the actor that I like. I never set out to do that because it was. I couldn't handle it but like now. You're Y do our writing Soman. Yeah it's no it's nice. I mean I always wanted to but I was not gonna live that life comedy was my life which was not an easier life but it was a wife. I had control over you. Don't no one's GonNa tell you didn't get it? Yes or no right and no one's GonNa tell me what the fuck do right. Yeah so you know but like you know waiting for somebody to come up with something that you fit for were yeah. I never did that. I created most of Besides happy endings and Mindy like I've created most of the stuff that have done. Yeah Josh did that story. Oh yeah and I I never. Ucb just you always wrote for you right right right. Well that's good so so maybe they need a break. I think so. That's what it was like. I I had just. I'd put everything I had in these last two big swings. It was like I got to recharge a little by doing and I also wanted to play a dad like my kids. Watch multi camps. Sure I do they. They Love Him. They all days but like good one epic. My kids love friends. They love fresh prince of Bel Air. Oh yeah he's like really good if you haven't watched the show interesting that the simplicity of those young complicate them at kids can watch him of course so simple. Fresh Prince of bel-air is a fish out of water. Yeah like my kids. Just sit there and laugh and it's I wanted that I had been for a long time like showing them. I work too heavy too. Weird can't Joshi's a suicide comedy. Yeah Yeah Yeah. Yeah but also like The the hell. They're doing a lot of them now. The three camera things like never really went away. I like it. I mean got to live audience. You putting on a show. Yeah makes me Miss Brodie during the warmer just saying that we saying that the other day like warming up is such an art. It's such a warming up over there. We've been through not not a lot of comedians like we had a hypnotist. We we really ran through it really. Yeah it's hard a lot of shows you have. Rhody was good at it. He where are you from the best at it and he was the best at it? Yeah Lake created a party yet even this long hours long days but it was like you know she needs checking in with you. How you doing you gotta like. It was like just felt coach. We were reminiscing that we've year earlier. Two years earlier said that fucking thing on that. No this has been great. I think Of definitely cheered everybody up no but like the but there are people excited about the show. Donna. Yes yeah I like I again like I've I just there's not Alana places where you get to go to work and be funny so it's really nice. Well good man. I wish you the best of luck. It was a pleasure talking to you. This is a real threat. I'm a huge fan of thank you.

"Faking it. Making words and melodies essentially faking the get away with that. No-one said Shit they just got old guys that are old and they're sitting out of the thing where you conservative. Yeah I really do it already morning. Good Morning I'm just you just me. Doing it felt like I did not do a good job but I kind of enthusiastically sold it and everyone fucking was really happy about it and like I remember that feeling of being like I don't even know we think about you now going to a Bar Mitzvah. Are you really like following along know exactly? I knew that I had like a bird's eye view as like these people don't care they just want us to cable. Song voice has changed. I remember having such power in this thing like I now control the situation I now. They're letting wins food. We go after exact and I was giving it to them by cutting in and so I remember that feeling very intrinsically. I think is still quite sit today. Well I think that's why I connect with you on trying to figure out like my dad's a doctor too but that didn't hold once. He told me that he started in show business standard but my dad self involved mine is as well right you know whatever it is narcissism. I don't know if I think might be pathological but I don't know about yours but South San There. Yeah right but But no it's the thing about like you know you can. Do you can sort of focus enough to do something really well once. Yeah yes so. I started doing Improv. 'cause I was like I saw psychic. You might get through like you might do one amazing Game Pool. But if you've got to do to it's not gonNA help find out so you'd walk away so you've got to be like for one good game done. That's kind of my whole. Mo for friends. Do you got about one year with me. It'll be I will be the bathroom. Always say about Improv. Was I was very much like that. I remember seeing the UCB. Yeah I like nineteen. Yeah and being like roof. That looks fun doesn't agree and was working to art. I can do that. I could do that so when you did you. Finish College. Went to finish Tucson school. I dropped I dropped at. Uva dropped out of you know my brother went to you of a juicer. Is a lot of juice. Yeah a lot everything yeah. It was a big big parties. Tucson Tucson is fun I spent all my is really bond money on drugs and stuff like you really have that much when you really. Yeah remember to cash out with that much. We'll my parents made sure that I have any cash from ever miss put it in Israeli bonds and then I like waited till I was. I got some bonds I've met given me on my Bar Mitzvah and they they've long since matured but I don't think I think you can stop. I put everything out at two thousand dollars for one ninety nine years. That was just weird. I guess no I was like molly and and cocaine and stuff like that over the course of the. Yeah yeah spread it out. Spread it out and then I tried to sell weed one time and I bought a blow guy later in college. Burn through bread. No I didn't I didn't get into. I didn't like that really until I was older. Yeah Yeah Yeah. Yeah when when you have to kind of act like he liked people. Yeah and then it's like the that's the easiest way to do it. It's going to happen if people could read behind my eyes. Look I want to be on your really? I want out of this. I do not want to be here. I actually genuinely got excited when I was a and then you realize like I like how does that look. I have the actual like opposite effect. Oddly because I to win a factor yeah I get really quiet. Shut down and like but calm just drinking. Yeah it's been twenty years for me. Yeah I mean but it's good. That's good that is good. So you spend all your Israel bonds and then I was just doing nothing. I just hated it two years two years. Some hot and dry hot have a stout lemon dude. I know there's no dude I I liked it but it was not for me and also I remember seeing that you have these moments in in your life where you see what what the salmon industry merging and I. I don't think I WANNA do that. Yeah I mean occasions the Green. What does that mean it's GonNa End? I'M GONNA end up at working like an equinox like I could see that equinox at equinox feels like it's a gym for horses was like why would it be. Equinox. We're not right all right. Y'All Jim Guy I'm not but I could see like my life like that would act or whatever like working in L. So you're gonNA work two jobs you can have now like we're GonNa Jimmy. Driving Uber Any eggen driving over. Yeah but that didn't exist. No so just equal. My only option and I made a tape an audition tape for the studio. Yeah and got in in New York Well that's good. Yeah so real acting real acting and what you what we audition pieces. Would you have to do a classical and in Vermont? I made a film. They were expanding their film forgotten through the back door again. They were expanding their film program. He worked at figuring out an angle. Pretty much they were. They were expanding their film program. And opening it up to filmmakers. Yeah so I made a short sketch And bowed some cash and I shouted on sixteen millimeter because I had a connection at the New York Film Academy would let me add it on the those old signed backs and I made this cool sketch about me. Racing like the stairs elevators psych. Very right fun thing but I acted in and I gave it to them and they were like yeah. You got in this. This is great said to your two year program A four year program. But I had to make it up over the summers the two years that I missed really. Yeah so it's a full year. Yeah I have a bachelors from the Actors Studio Wow Yeah now. That's that's a good history. It means nothing I know would have. I didn't even care about the UC day landed like back in New York and New York. And so what are you there? Why did you remember that? What led me to that was the show on T. V. Right as I was leaving Tucson and the show very clearly said like you know we've theater MIA city. They were starting a whole industry. Yeah and so. I was changed the entire industry of comedy for sure and I was lucky enough to be like considered an early wave and so I was. I got like hands on experience with so you get into actress studio and then you go over there. You see the Improv. Like you said I can do this and I like it better and I. It's more what I wanted. Yeah I lived there. I was an intern and I was a bartender and I was taught classes eventually and I did everything who were. Ut who you? Your teachers initially What Matt Walsh Manziel Zukas Owen Burke Earn M- Peter. Godwin taught me for a little bit. Yeah Really Funny Seth Morris was The my the guy who was the most the the guy who's the most like bring me in Libya Saami at nineteen. I was in his class and he was like no. You're actually funny was Paul Scheer and so I feel like you were funny quite yet. I knew I was. He didn't no no no. I knew but you know you're in those classes and those classes. You're trying so hard like I was sweating blood in those classes. Like just wanting to be good. You know what I mean. Yeah it was in the dingy spaces and like was sleeping in the back in the and like While she lived on top one dog with dog. And then I'm yeah and then just like it. It clicked a couple years. In so Seth Morris was important. He was important to me. Yeah I love him and I think he's one of the unsung heroes of of Improv game and just didn't think people in general I just think yeah he's a genius and and I love everything he does. I think the funniest character and I remember his like he did a one man show. I'm I'm so from northern California. I think it was called. It was like great like we used to use him on radio. Bits back when I was doing radio. I don't remember who turned US onto him. One of the guys who was He was running. Ecb out here and he introduced us and he did several characters phone her bits so funny like I was on my show us on Marigny instructor. He's right up his alley. Yeah I mean I did like really lived there for am I proud of that. I did I did the lights for the swarm which was like the big you know. That was Andy Daily. That was like you know I did the lights for them for two year. What is that? What's that that to show? That was his Improv structure. Why is it the swarm? I was just the name of the group M but it's all herald kind of Sun. No that was just like them. Improvising for like an hour and it was like watching Andy Daily. Every Friday night was like this changed my life. Yeah legit dorm at the comedy store. That's how you fucking dig in. Yeah you need that to me to learn. Yeah and then like I'd say like three three to five years in it like clicked and I was like. Oh I'm good. Oh I see so quick in that way that you've done your time kind of and I just it just I. I don't know if stand up is like this but you're just kind of like seeing the the thing a little where you're like okay. Right right there in that goes there and then grain. Yeah in you know in you have a you have those moments. You're like I know what's going to happen in one second. It's GonNa be amazing and it does and then you're like wow and then you have terrible ones show. Yeah Yeah but yeah. I remember that feeling so vividly of. Yeah yeah well. Now I have this power you know this. Yeah and then So but the actors studio. You're not doing anything. That didn't really do anything I mean I met. We stayed there for four years. I had to my parents. Were like the only way that they didn't have much money and because they're paying off all the student debt for my dad so we live very modest. Yeah so we look at the Doctor. An osteopathic internists so we lived very modestly. And they were like we. We understand that you're studying at from feeder underground but if you want to not get a a real day job fact until you're twenty one. Yeah and act like this is still university. And you're going to go and you're going to go over the summer and you're GonNa Finish and get you know whatever whatever it is and I did my got it and I walked and they were so proud enemies no but I mean really I mean what means nothing one thing but were you doing serious scene work. Yeah but not well not well and like that to me acting classes and have taken all of them are really a way to shake it. Like the whole goal of all of these things. Yeah is to get comfortable with being embarrassed. That's what that's my whole life. It's like what that's why I got into comedy. It's one hundred percent of what the acting when you when they put a mask on you and it's a lion and and there's yeah forty five students staring at you and you're in a onesie with a lion mascot. Yeah me too well. Let's fucking wrap it up. Let's talk you're out here in L.. A. Able to do high and mighty because you're shooting a new show for NBC. That's coming out this winter yet. Coming out February six so that's possibly Depending on this episode comes out it's between four to five weeks away way yes so set your fucking. DVR DVR's on the watching on peacock exists but it's on NBC. Which I know exists and it's great? It's really funny. I think we talked about a little bit less than Meuron. But it's you it's Abby Elliott. Jessy Hodges Fran Drescher gesture and Stephen and Richard kind now. A great razors kind is the best. He's so funny. Yeah I I saw. He was on Dan's instagram. And I was wondering if he was guest starring he's done. Yeah recurs this great. I can't say so fricken funny though. Saying he's great and like just so much is so good. And it's it's it's a throwback it's just about a family and it's It reminds me of all the shows I like when I was a kid. whatever's of Howard head right. Yeah where's our that he actually Just showed me a video. He a friend of his favorite firm so to give him a present back. He got a cameo cameo from high-pitched here that's awesome Roger's got me a cameo from frank stallone as a gift. Where Frank thank you for thank hugh keepers for being my number one musical fan or cameo pro Soviet Dude Cameo US take this minute right here? Hey if anyone wants to do cameo go forward if you wanted to go for it. But I'm going to take a moment here to say those mother fuckers I've reached out to me on. DM email instagram twitter and three different people. Hey Manager of communications. Hey as the director of K it's the Blah Blah and I'm like I don't have that many followers I think this should is kind of dumb. Ah I don't WanNa do it and I said to one I said no to every one of them on the tenth person someone was like. Can I just ask why you're hasn't into do it. She wrote back back to me and I just wrote her on Mike because I think honestly I don't have the time for this and I think it looks a little tacky. And then she wrote back tacky like lying naked with Sushi over your body elite which is like my twitter header is like a picture of me doing body. Sushi's old you say. She told me and I was like and I wrote back in like. Do you think this is GonNa make me WanNa work with you more. Yeah you. They're like literally. We're trying every tactic to give me and I'm like how how little I guess for them. It's a numbers game. Just every person they add is money they make. I got frustrate because they were like asking me same way bothering me almost and so finally I wrote back I would do it for one. Hundred thousand dollars a cameo. Could I get one hundred thousand thousand dollars a camping. And they're like we have a limit of like I don't know what it is like a thousand dollars and I was like well I'm worth one hundred thousand and that's that's awesome. They haven't gotten back to me but it all stops. Yeah that's smart filling delete. Did something like that too. I thought I saw instagram. Someone else did someone else like I had had to get off my or got licensed to do one like or if they did get licensed to do it all the power to him. I mean I just think like I understand why people would do it. Like for High Pitch Eric Eric or Frank Stallone. It's it's great for like even podcasters if I'm not trying to fuck with anyone's bag if you're back however yes so much trying to get like an extra couple hundred your bucks a month. I'm I just feel like once you start doing that. You take away the worth you have for any acting job you want. Because it's like well I'll do this for this much right. If you're willing to like I'd say to someone but I guess there's like an example of like you do it all from your couch like you don't have to leave your house if you can make an extra five hundred bucks every morning like some of these bigger celebrities. I'm wondering can you make five eight hundred dollars a day just fucking do out. I don't know how many people are making cameos along. WHO's a high? Michael Rapaport is on camera. They hold up to the super high end products. But they're just not expensive high-quality without the high cost. It's a balance between performance purity and price. Trust me given world. It's working wonders and it's not that expensive it's a hybrid. vaporizer does dry herb and concentrates. which is I'm not a concentrates guy? I'm a dried dried herb guy. So for me throw some of the dried herbs. And they're really it really works well for me. Please temperature controlled by the degree with like a very arispe sophisticated computer system it vibrates when it reaches the temperature that you have it set at it sets it super fast. "Very serious issue of roommates, stealing food. If you haven't seen endings, max was a gay character that didn't fall into stereotypes that we often see on TV was messy. He was into sports, definitely not interested in those. You know, those classic trope fashion shopping. Looking back, did you pre- sheet how meaningful that that character was going to be the people? Sure, yeah. Well, I didn't know how meaningful it was going to be, but I appreciated that David casper the creator of the show may decided to do the character that way. And so I I looked at it as a badge of honor in a way to to be like the characters is written gay, but not behaving in the way that you would have seen in television before. So I liked that I liked. I liked that I was able to do that, you know, and it was. It was fun. Even somebody who wasn't gay, I really felt it was. It was great to watch somebody who happen to be gay and it didn't identify. Yeah, wasn't the sole thing from which everything else emanated. Yeah, yeah, totally. You worked on an indie film called band-aid with actor writer, director, Zoe, Lister Jones, all-female crew? Yes. That's what unique experience for Hollywood. I would say. Did you learn from that? Oh, I learned it changed my everything. I was just. So blown away. And I just so realized was able to put in a context where I, I was able to learn how much space women's sometimes aren't allowed to take up when when they're not giving the chance in how men that we operate with no fear. And so we just coming in blurt, say, whatever we want because we're not worried about anything in for so long women have this feeling, especially in the workplace that you know, they don't want to speak up or whatever is able to kind of see a little bit of glimpse in that and feel that just it changed my my own life. I think hopefully people around as life because I think I'm a better person from it right gave the sort of a lasting changes for the futures. Amazing. I'm Ali Hassan, infra, Tom power. You're listening to q. on CBC radio and PRI public radio international. If you're just tuning in speaking with actor and comedian Adam pally who was here in Toronto, talk about his new movie dog days. So let's talk about a dog days of it. It's an. Ensemble, comedy, family, friendly movie. Although I am happy. My family didn't. They were supposed to come from entry all to watch it with me, and they didn't make it in time. And I had to finish the movie and my my daughter's would have made fun of me for the way I did. Yes, family therapy. We get older, you don't find yourself crying more guards, but I also think it's important to let your kids know that it's okay to cry. Therapies required. Yeah. I mean, you know, they cry, but all kinds of things they don't have really liked to stand on when they're judging me for tears. Anyway, you should say it's okay for a grown man cry you have and you have kids, right? Three kids. Yeah, grinders their kids. So, yeah. Yeah, of course. Is this a film that you would feel comfortable watch shirt age where everybody can? I think so. I think this movie is, you know, if you like dogs, which is, you know, all ages they can. They can sit through this movie and I think I think what's nice about it is that it's fun for I always like a movie where the adults you can take your kids and you can be entertained because that's so much of your time with your kids is finding titties that literally take time up in the day, and so move is a great way to do that. And I do that a lot with my kids, and so it's nice to have a movie that I can go to and be like, it's actually very. Funny. I think this is like the amazing thing that writers are doing these days in animated and non animated world. Creating something that two different age groups in both inject supposed to be forced four quadrant, what is the four? What are the other two? I don't know. In business, I believe it's like, you know, elderly, yes, middle age, teen and children. It's not easy. I mean, I do..
