"On, yeah as time went on. Contracts, you know they got a little smaller which I. Don't blame anybody for that. You know it's just it's the way it goes. Are Our sport went from being like really in the public eye and people were really into it to people lost interest, and that's just going to be part of life. It's something that. Just, you know you gotta deal with your exactly. You're not in control of what society deems cool or not cool. You just gotTa ride the wave and take it as it comes and I think we're pretty lucky that we can. Even though we're not this big time thing anymore, I think freestyle motocross will always be a good demo sport. You know it's always gonNA. Be a good thing. To have at the county fair to have it some event on the side or something like that so I think there's always going to be opportunities, but I don't know there's too much of a chance for to ever be back, but as far as Rockstar. Life is concerned like. It, it was freaking scary back there. You know we didn't have all the flip Komo's and stuff like do these courses that we would show up to to ride ex-fighters mainly, they super intimidating, and like you went there, and now like okay. I'll go to a NITRO and I'll have some beers for the boys the first night and if it's a two night event, you know we'll finish. The event will have some beers the next night, and sometimes maybe we'll go overboard and sometimes you. Dude I seriously think the dog just walk into the room written nasty as far well. Blaming it on the dog. That's that's how it goes now back then. I remember going to Moscow Russia for. For X. Fighters in that course. It looked pretty standard, but it was it was. It was a scary courson. It was hard to figure out a run on and I remember like dude. We were there for so many hours a day because. The way. Practice worked as we'd ride in the morning we'd have a couple hour break in the afternoon, not usually long enough to go back to the hotel, and then we'd have more practices in the evening and all this time i. don't know anybody else. That was just cruising and have fun writing. This was like figure out our runs. How like we gotta get our runs figured out, and I just remember like dude. I would. I would sleep until the bus was ready to pick us up in the morning and I'd come back and hit the pillow. Just go straight out. Until assigned the wake up for the bus next morning like they were scary times. We all worked hard at it and we all. Enjoyed it, but it wasn't like we were Rockstar live out partying, just enjoying the shit out of life like those contests. They were tough, but it was. Kuwait was so fulfilling to do something like that and. I wish it would come back around, but I don't know it would take a lot and one of the things it would. Is Somebody willing to put in a lot of money to make cool courses again and I? Don't really know who's going to do that. Yeah, I mean that's the thing like. When I look back on those fighters, there was some. Some of those courses Nali. The transition from the landing to the next takeoff, there was no transition. There wouldn't even be wouldn't even be a flat spot. It would just be straight into Yup. And and Like in a way. That's cool because you showing who the real good rider is, which is fantastic bought. Man When it comes down to safety in your China. If you've gotTA. CLICK DIESEL! Get Your Foot hoke in Nov. Flip leave up obviously going to work at which treats you going to do so? You don't have to do any of that crap. Yeah, but if you've got that split in mealy second where you should, we really be backing out of this. There is no back your going for it. Yeah, no I agree definitely man, and that made it more dangerous for sure, but it's also another thing that made it more exciting. You know and I think it was part of what. What made it what it was when it was was that it was pretty freaking exciting in I. Honestly I don't know what it ever was that made. ex-fighters throw in the towel on the full tours I'm not sure, but I think that was a big part of it that they stopped doing that. And Obviously X. Games went inside and just started putting super tiny courses together and. I mean we went inside in Minneapolis and yet we don't have much room there, but and we were at What's it called the in? In, Texas Stadium of the Americas. Her Circuit of the Americas, yeah Yup I mean, and that was terrible, but we got all the room in the world. We had a circle course there, too, so like. It was honestly they just stopped putting the effort in the time to I guess before that was staples, indoor and I think a couple years of that were. But then I think people just really started getting bored of that. It's like okay. Circle here circle. They're part of I. Think the excitement always was. Walking into a stadium or or on the TV and just seeing this massive course with stuff everywhere like that. You Up to be excited, exactly, that's the good thing about. Staples was inside staples where the bedrooms. and. Staples was inside, but also. Freecell, Motta was inside the. What four years or something in La and that was so boring. I think it was three years. Was it three or four years? medaled twice indoor, and then one year I got like fifth or six or something like that I think those were the three indoor years. It sucks because I just said it just said it was boring, but it's not boring because I'm fucking so because all I wanted to see was just tricks, hat X. Games. Who's got the biggest ones in theory? You GonNa. Say Better tricks on a easier Kohl's. Bought, it just lost that appeal at least. When you're watching TRAE was cool because. Boys that anticipation like one are we going to see one school, and that stop to where people I? Guess ran out of new shift to to which I don't blame them. I think those staples courses. They worked when they were mixed in between other big courses. If you followed freestyle Motocross, these saw X. amount of big courses a year where it's like. If you played your cards right on one of these big x fighters courses you. You couldn't do all your biggest tricks in one run. At most Susan had to make it work so that then it worked because. We, did what we could on these big courses,.

"Have you had your coffee already this morning. Now now I decided I'm going to. I'm going to keep the street going. See how long I can go without it, I. I think I might be better without it to be honest. What are you up to now day five day six? Today's Day six. Yeah, and like I mean I feel pretty good. It's so weird. You know it's always hard for me to judge. How well one particular thing working because? You know there's always just. There's always different shit going on, you know, and it's all right I. Woke Up. Good today. I feel good, but is that because you know I, haven't had an alcohol week I. Did have a wine last night, but You know. Can I really say one thing. That's making a difference, or is it just you know collectively all things, but either way one thing that a hundred percent I notice is like my anxiety. Stress levels have completely dropped off these past six days without coffee and I think that alone is worth finding another drink and trying to. Just not start my day with that like it gives me the kick in the butt and like I'm ready to start my day once. I had my coffee, but. As soon as I stopped moving, it's like. You know, I'm searching for just random little pointless shit to do on days. I really shouldn't really need to occupy myself to that extent. When you're busy, you're busy. Maybe you should just be to accept it, but it's like the coffee doesn't really let me accept it in I just as soon as I sit. Still I just the stress comes in and I feel really bad so. The last six days while the first two days I actually felt like I was dying didn't think I was GONNA. Make it through, but. then. I. Dying, but it is crazy. Anybody that's ever liked took a done like little coffee reset or took a break. It's two to three days of just complete. The charger you. You have no energy, no desire to do anything really. I mean caffeine is is pretty wild and I think. I think coffee's even worse just with everything else. That has now I. Don't know. Man That's so knowledge of he that. I know it I. Don't drink coffee that much I only have it if I'm out for a massive road trip. Yeah, alright just nar on stuff for the Diana's Lie I've got a little work. Today I'M GONNA. Have, one coffee and I love the smell of it I love the taste of it. But I know it's not good for you. Son. Yeah, well see. That's the thing. Is Coffee Actually? Isn't that bad for you? So the thing that I have a problem with just you know. I guess we'll call it the addiction intriguing recovery right now or anything, but you know caffeine is a stimulant. It does a lot of great things for you, but when you reach for it consistently the. The same time every day, and you rely on it then. It kind has a hold on you, so that's my main thing, and I'd rather just get to the point. Where exactly what you said you know that's where I wanna be is just use it when I need it not every single day, because even if I woke up on a day and I had nothing to do, it's like. I want my coffee. You know and like. No problem with that coffee does have a lot of benefits. It's not a navy. Every day especially, if you just I just drink a black, so I'm not getting sugars getting. Tough man. I made the decision years ago. If I was going to have coffee every day, it was going to be black I wasn't going to be putting. I was going to be putting any fillers in just because I like to try to healthy. Yeah, so I. Don't want to have ice cream for breakfast. Basically by putting all that. Shit my coffee. I'll come on. What's wrong with ice? Cream for breakfast. That's pretty much. All of America says when they're and line wrapped all the way around starbucks every morning. Man. Yeah, that's like. I mean like I said I'm not into coffee that much I definitely don't put sugar in it all used to drink a lot of tea with sugar. When I was younger, my dad used to have five teaspoons of Suga in his cup of tea I was on full and wow I mean. I grew up with that. That was like normal. When I'm at right, and she just told me doing it the first time putting four teaspoons of sugar and she's what the hell you doing. And so then when we moved in together, and she was making all the cups of tea everyday, she was gradually over I. Think it was six months or one year. She waned me off of full sugar down. Let's say half a teaspoon. And one day when I actually decided to make my cup of Tayfur change and are putting fourteen all my God. That's sorry sweet. WHAT THE HELL! And that was when everything just unraveled, and she's like. Yeah, I've been doing this for so long. Waning you off. Should I just had no idea US perfect I did with coffee. I didn't grow up drinking coffee or like. Even you know when I moved out I didn't start drinking coffee until probably. I duNno, my very late twenties, or maybe my thirties and I started drinking. It was like it was white dude. Was Coffee in there, so I did that weaned myself off, but yeah, it's crazy to me. There's there's total addiction I. Don't have a problem with sugar like sugar is cool as long as you can control yourself, but. The vast majority. It's You know they're they're doing like. What do you call it like the meals at the death row? Patients get their last meal. People do that every single meal of their life and It's pretty wild to me. Yeah, exactly now I. Once I knew it was bad. I've always known but just fatigue. It was the only way I did yeah, I really steer clear a wavell Showbiz, and things like that until gone to light the last year of little bit bad up in. I still have my man. I love middle of summer. Day I not even sponsor plug in an icy cold rockstar dude is freaking good they. I know like. I like them, but yeah. You know I'm not going to drink five or six of them a day. Either I think even rockstar would not condone that but. Shooters, figures are fine. Sugars are good like. To, like just pay attention to what we're doing. Exactly I mean I'm going to go back to the ice cream thing. That's the healthiest thing you can do I thought. Actually when I had my first. Ice Cream for breakfast. I was having ice cream older long. First Surgery was a ripped three E. Muscles off Mushonga. And did something else. I can't remember tried to do double. Mac over fifty fate, or maybe even less and. Yet didn't get back on. My shoulder to paces, and so we had a dairy farm, and so we had to massive vats of milk, full everyday, and so I was drinking full frame milk strike from the VAT and making two to three big big, big thick, shakes full of ice cream home made ice cream, of course for mum, and yet that was the point that I went from a nineteen year old. That was fit and in Norfolk. And in six months a sore picture of May riding AL FAHM CAUGHT BIKE WITH With my mom in the sling. Resting on my fat guts getting around the finals whow. Thought. I was I was taking that for calcium like I was only thinking. Thinking of calcium I did not think of the sugar in the fat. But from then on I two. Yeah we run. When my family we grew up and it was. It was milk with every meal like he didn't even really have a choice on our family. And I love Milkman I would. I could drink milk with any meal at all, but..
MLB Draft: Best Picks
"The best answer for this. Whose career is a major league? Baseball may well be over. He headed over to Japan for two thousand twenty. We'll see harvey no Adam Jones Jones. I think Adam. Jones was viewed by a lot of people as a legitimate. Star Star in baseball during that good orioles run where he made four consecutive, all star teams from twelve to fifteen. I don't think history is going to be kind to the perception that he was a star. Top thousand eight thirty nine. Oh P. S He was never an on base. Percentage guy is career. Slash lines to seventy, seven, three, seventy, four, fifty four. He's GonNa. Finish with fewer than his about thirty two wins above replacement Like Great Leader and it was the face of those orioles franchise, and may have been their best player in individual years never once ranked in the top ten in position players League wide a wins above replacement now one time. What about here's a name. What about Dan, Uggla? I don't know that like we view Dan Uggla. Like a star player at the time. I think what year like win was it? The thing with Uggla is that he debuted like a like a Bat Outta Hell with twenty seven homers, and there was going. GonNa say he hit like fucking. Thirty homers foot the first four years, five years, or something shows twenty, seven, thirty, one, thirty, two, thirty, one, thirty, three, thirty six. I think the thing with other. The one caveat is that everybody knew because he didn't debut until age twenty six that the. The run was never going to be a dairy right, yeah! And that ended up being very true, I mean. You know even the area at thirty six home runs, which was a career highest first year in at L., is dropped one hundred points from the year before like the the decline happened, it happened really fast. Anyway interesting question. Who is your? Who is your guy following the NBA draft? I know none of us are experts and I. Don't think anybody listening thinks that we're experts on college high school players, but let's so that we can claim that we were correct. I can make fun of Dallas for being extremely wrong later on. Let's plant our flag on a guy. Who is your guy from this draught? Shit. I mean I'm just GonNa fall back on the guy that we drafted the as. Purely because he's from my neighborhood. Tyler Soderstrom, okay, left-handed stick yet, not a catcher out of Turlock California no the best part about busy plays the catcher position, but his raw athleticism We'll probably see him land. That's frankly wherever he would like. Yeah, that's an incredible. That is really well done. a guy who does TV for team I got one nick bits go. Nick pit skill. That's go. He was the He was raised pick. He seventeen years old. He's he's. He was kind of like the. The track man advanced number spin rate, darling sort of thing. His track record extremely brief. What's what's funny about about that? Is You know like he sent out at somebody's sitting. I think he sent out a tweet or like you said something you know what posting my rap Soto, numbers and Blah. Now, you have see is like college football on steroids in the sense, the turnover of athlete, and how quickly it turns and goes, but it's a. It's a great. It's a great sport. And I'm not into hockey the way that I should be feeling by me. But I've had friends tell me hockey's sport best seen in person to really appreciate it and the maze. The exact same thing. And from time to time I'm able to interview some some pretty big MA guys over on the TV show and this week we got tour on the program. Former multi time champion really interesting, dude. And I just wanted to take his perspective on how the sport itself. How you see from his hip his vantage point has evolved over the years or fairly as a fighter and watching the fighters. I think it's it's come a long way. It's evolved a lot and tactically and technically the level of athlete in the level of fighting. That's going on. Now is a lot different than when I started back in ninety seven. That being said, I think there's also been some growing pains in the sport. Now now that it's become the combative sport for this generation that's on almost every single weekend. You can tune in somewhere find them. I may I think we as fighters need to get a little more organized recognize that we are the product here, and that, you know, without us. There are no shows, and maybe get a fair shot at what's going on the revenue and all the things that are happening in this sport right now, take care of ourselves a five threes or or not. 4._0._1._K's and to retirement health benefits, some of those things that a lot of the other professional athletes in our society. Enjoy we're not getting any of that right now. So I think he's on us as fighters. Yeah. There's I mean, there's no argument that the sport doesn't make a lot of money look no further than UFC sale. A few years ago. It's a B as in billions not an M as in millions in terms of what? And that's just an obviously, it's a dominant company, but that's just one and the may company how how to fires do that Randy. Because obviously, whether it's Dana white or the next guy when people have a stranglehold on the finances of something that works. They're not usually going to turn into charity and say here, why don't you take a big chunk of this how to fighters actually get that dumb? I'm part of a mixed martial arts fighters association and educating fighters about the need for the fighters association, getting us all to come together. Especially those guys that are active now, it's one thing for me. As a retired athletes involved. But all the active fighters top guys right now are the guys that really have the most influence we can get them involved and see the wisdom in ordering the fighters association, creating an entity not unlike sag Screen Actors Guild, I mean, if you look at all the different studios that are all promoting and making films all drawing from a pool of of talent. That's the most similar thing to what we're doing in fighting. We have a bunch of promotions. That are all wonderful on fights. There's a pool of athletes that they're pulling from if we come together and get organized, and we can at least developed some minimum criteria minimum pay standards, some retirement and healthcare in place and a lot of those things that like the NFL PA the players association. Major league baseball basketball. They all have players associations. And that's what the fighters association is all about I also asked Randy tour about just the difficulty. In such a such a tough sport. He did this fight into your forties. I think the science of that Lennox has come a long ways, you're seeing that across the board a lot of efforts or it's not just fighting. I'm certainly fortunate not to sustain any serious injuries that hampered me from keeping my fitness level high and competing at a high level well into my forties. I thought I was forty seven. You know, I think you're seeing guys in other sports do the same thing. We'll get smarter about what we put in bodies. How we take care of these machines that were trying to run it compete at that high level. So that's what that's all about Anderson is certainly doing a good job of that and take care of himself, but era, I feel fortunate to have been able to do what I did, you know, whether it's Michael Jordan or Willie Mays back in the day or chuckle delis. It's hard for guys that compete their whole lives. And don't listen to the doubters to move on. When when the time is right. Do you miss fighting when he was finally over for you was that transition easy? I prove airport that I had acting and the other business entities that I developed in my time as a fighter the ball back onto focus on as my new purpose. You know, getting acting jobs, I think that lack of purpose, you know, being a whether it's a soldier fighter or an athlete a football where that's your. Sole purpose in identity. It's very wrapped up in that endeavor. It's hard to just walk away from that. It's a very personal thing. So having something else to focus on a new purpose? That will occupy your time your competitive, juices, whatever it is. That's very important natural fortunate that I had those things as I transitioned both as a pro athlete in and and then you know, as a wrestler as well. You're wasn't my talk with something funny. Just happen while Randy was talking. Well, you trace utilise story. Okay. So was asking Stu if rainy tour standing right in front of him. Right and stupid punch him rainy could not punch back. So he would just absorbed the punches Romney punches would it take for student. Knockout Randy couture? Do you want to guess how many punches Stu thought it would take him to knock out in MMA fighter? Tell me. He said, I don't know what that was. But how many do you think it is? I like fifteen I mean, I'm gonna make funny you I think and nuts too. Yes. Would kill him. If he just punch him a thousand times in a row v. You think you think if you punch Randy tour fifteen times, you're knocking them out? Yes. If you have any times. Yes. It might be over on that. Okay. I don't know. Up and get a full you can you know recoil and throw a full punch caving into it. You're gonna order you're gonna fifteen you're gonna wanna make 'em fifteen times. Yeah. And he's just standing there absorbing these punches. You're telling me that fifteen winning knock him out. I don't think you are knocking amounted. Fifteen punches. No, nor am I. I don't know. I probably says it's not a thousand. No, that's neither. Thank you. Both way off. Hours. Maybe stews punch like. I don't know. What's kind of say like, I'm not really heavy puncher? Like, I don't know. I feel take a lot maybe on a thousand but take a lot. What's your number? Then bill. Well, I'm trying to think I mean, I'm not a tough guy. I'm not a big guy. None of those things. But I did just to get in shape. Back in Arkansas. Go to pretty legit Vakhin, Jim for whatever was six or eight months, and you know train. It was really fun. I was bad at it. But I mean, I can actually punch how many have you guys actual fights. He has been your life. Like, you have to be at least twelve can't be like fifty five year old zero also zero Evan in more than that. And no I didn't win win love. How many punches ran a tours of big time in? I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go thirty really. Yeah. I mean, you where are you going to punch him this conference can't punch a below the belt? No, I just assume this I would probably go for the face on your temple at your temple and jaw is that what you're doing. Yeah. Aren't you like to be fair in this analogy? Aren't you watching? Knock him out. Yes. Yeah. Oh, yeah. No, not bloody knock him out. What do you do when he falls down? But he's still like, oh, he's awake. Well, he falls down. You got to assume that he's. Wait, you gonna find? He's not not yet. I gotta keep going to town on my. Oh. I hope he is listening. Randy eight eight five five two one two four CBS. I will ask him next time. These guys come. I'm not kidding. The next one of these guys come on and say we had this random conversation. How much do you waitress? Buck eighty one seventy five guy the ways a buck eighty five. Buck buck eighty five trays lie tight shirt over here. What are you six foot tall round up six one? All right. So you're six years here. A five eleven one eighty five jobber. Yeah. The job together Chubb going on. You got the chunking is going on. Actually in pretty good shape. I'm a little fat. I bet Randy would say thirty. I don't know you think you knock him out in fifteen. I mean, the jaws pretty delicate if you you know, and you gotta assume you're punching to knock him out to just you're going to go for the jaw. You're gonna go for the places where the knockouts most prone, I would say fifty and I'm a little honest. I think I'm going to little extreme fifteen. I think it'd be that. What do you think you could get him in? If you if you were to get ten million dollars the exact number what number would you put down? You get nothing. If it's not the exact number nine. Oh my gosh. You crazy. On trace, dude. By the way, he might you might be thousands of you've never punched anyone you might break your hand on his head. That's actually a really good point. That's a great point. That is actually totally. That's I mean, I take some us. If this was a real thing. I don't know that that would be a part of the arrangement nothing you will train for a while come back, and I will stand here and take it. How many punches would he need to knock you out if you're able to move its way just one right? Yeah. Means I asked you the same question, and we both had one hit might be zero for me. Just fall over. I'm out. Eight five five. Oh, I love that question. That's a weird question. "The the recent Boston fan that received a two year ban for his interactions with players, and we've sort of seem to have at least slightly evolved from the tired old idea that if you pay for a ticket to a game, you can say, whatever the heck you want, and as we continue to move away from that idea and start to remember that the people out there doing. In their job are human beings. It makes hearing a story like the one that just came out in in the baseball world a little bit little bit heartening. It feels like we're heading in the right direction. It used to always be that any any player should at any time be willing to take whatever. But Adam Jones just had a fan ojected at Diamondbacks game and didn't have to fall back on racial slurs or comments about his family. He just said he was being profane. He was using too many curse words he was affecting the spectators around him and people are getting too brazen. They got to keep it, more polite. If you say, you know, the team's not good or they strike out say, something smart or funny or just loud. But not something that you're sitting next to kid's gonna make their family not want to be at the ballpark. And I commend him for it. Jason. Yeah. I know this is just anecdote. Oh, but in my experiences in going to games baseball has been the one where people feel that. It's okay. I don't know if it's because the summers in the air, the relaxed nature and atmosphere the beers flowing. Whatever the case may be, but I've had a couple of times to turn around in a section for people who I knew were hearing the same words and say, hey, man, cool out. You got got elderly people you've got kids. And even if none of those two groups are in the in the area, you got people who would just trying to enjoy game. So I don't need to hear every f bomb every and all the other things. And like you said it just doesn't have to be about race. It doesn't have to only be about, you know, homophobic, slurs or gender issues where people are comparing players to girls and all that other stuff. Just relax. And I think we've gotten to a point where people don't understand that. You're not part of the event, you're spectator. Right. Like, the people who clapping theaters or all the other stuff. You bought a ticket to take in premium talent take in? A talent. I'm not even a bore. Right. But if you wanna boof on knock yourself out, that's not my bag, but people who think that they can go to these parks or go to these arenas and sit and sit down, and because they paid fifty to two hundred and fifty dollars whatever the case may be and say obscenities as loud as they possibly can. And then look you in the face and say pretty much, what are you going to do about it? I'm glad Adam Jones stepped up we need to set this tone going forward because I don't know if you have to be polite, but being respectful probably be the key. Right. It mike. You just send you are in a position where you are aware that unless there's another malice in the palace, you are protected, and that's why you feel like your chest enough to tell somebody MS, and this your mom and this your dad because you're protected by the fact that they are at their job in the middle of work, and they're not going to climb up into the stands and beat the crap out of you. And that's such a soft and sad way. To to try to use the power that you have as a face talking. Now. Listen. It's participatory. Right. And so we don't scream things at an opera singer. Who doesn't hit the right note? We don't yell things during a play of someone's acting as very good. But those are not apples to apples comparisons. There is a participatory nature to sports. You are there in part because you get to cheer and boo and give field advantage and yell encouragement..

"Diego Petco field over there. Okay. Audio. Not so good. They lost. They did they lost. But it wasn't for a lack of effort by Diamondbacks. Rightfielder Adam Jones. The line headed for the corner. Adam Jones drudge it down and foul ground. Isn't that play? That's got people talking to Bruce. What happened after it got the tongues of wagon? Adam Jones says that it's pretty common that people yell things at you special. If you're on the on the road, but that he was receiving some very specific and vulgar abuse. He actually apparently went to an official an empire and got a a fan thrown out of the game four yelling vulgarity set him. Yeah. He actually went to what are the Astor's there. The head of security. Got the guy kicked out of. This guy's yelling you use a variety of different language, colorful language. I guess right. Let's just go with that. And you know, what I get it? Jones says you want to keep the the banter light tell us. We suck come on keep it smart. I mean think about that. If you're if you're funny any heckler, you get respect for being a funny, if you're a jerk, and you're offensive, and you take it too far you have then potentially lost your right to be in that said stadium to watch a game. I get credit. I tried to be a funny heckler at times you want credit for that credit for it. Okay. You get crud way back machine. Tucson our AAA team. Wow. Okay. We're talking big time. I remember there was an and I'm gonna leave all the names out. So that I can predict the years a little bit. There was a big major league player who had been kicked down to AAA for rehab, and he was horrible. He was playing horrible. And we were updating his batting average in real time. Every time he struck out. And we're screaming it out that he we he's batting one seventy three or whatever in triple AAA. Look at you. And I was trying to update his batting average using a calculator. And we know how good you are with math. So I'm sure what point he was batting two thousand fifty three. So I don't exactly under. If I did it, right? But still I was trying to be clever, but we have instances and this Adam Jones this same player just a couple of years ago said he was subjected to racist taunts while playing for the Orioles. But playing in Boston where people were yelling the N word at him out in the not just the N word. A bag of peanuts were also thrown out. Okay. Yeah. Show. This guy has been subject to this in the past. And you know, what it's not. Okay. No. It's not. Okay. So the guy should have been kicked out. And that's exactly what president and CEO of the Diamondbacks. Derek call said, we're buddies over on sports this morning. I definitely stand by our player in in for Adam to reacted like that. It had been over the top in in anytime. You're you're crossing the line. And and if you take it too far, then that it really is in the hands of that stadium or the facility operations by all means, you know, you have the right to the objective, and if the players complaining, then they have to make that decision. And they obviously did. So they must have thought it was over the top as well as an organization with baseball because he's a right fielder. And they're on his own on his near the fans, and he's close to the fans. I mean, when I go to football games, I've never taken Riley to a professional football. I'm a little concerned to be honest with you because I know the way people talk, I know in the crowd and the sand. Yeah. The words. They use. Getting since nine AM a whole lot of tailgating in baseball. Now, you do have fans there are a lot closer turnt. When when you're in football, you're removed from fans to a certain degree the football players. They're not gonna hear you doesn't hear people yelling at him. Right. It's a little all yours. Does Adam Jones. Yes, you can hear that. And hockey, for instance, you got class you're not gonna hear you can hear basketball different situation. Got worn by an NBA ref. Of course, you did you. He you've seen different situations where players have reacted. But we've talked about baseball. We've talked about football hockey basketball, your huge soccer fan. I'm a foosball fan, and they have a different way of dealing with a variety of ways over in Europe. Not only have a different way of dealing with. It is because they have some horrific examples of it. Can you imagine let me just throw this out there? Can you imagine? Your worst case scenario. What's what's a huge sports Yankees? Versus Red Sox. Okay. I'm just thinking these huge rivalries, you know, Dallas Cowboys Washington Redskins Lakers. Whoever is the Celtics Celtics. Let's go with that. Could you imagine a fan throwing a banana onto the field when a black pair touched a ball? Can you imagine a monkey like monkey chance when a black player touched a ball or made a play? No, that's what's been going on in soccer for quite some time. And as for all of the we talk about how difficult the racial issues we have in this country. We are light years ahead of the types of racial taunts. Go on and soccer around the world. There was an instance this weekend in Italy. All right. You think Italy so damned enlightened because they invented pasta. Well, guess what? A black player to see us from Ivory Coast playing playing for a team. Was absolutely being racially abused by an entire section of the of the of the stadium now to be clear this young man, I think you told me he is eighteen eighteen nineteen years old. He is one of the their best players Italy's best players. This team's best players. And he scored not once but twice. But every time he touched the ball. There. Are these chants monkey? Okay. So so he was being berated after his second score scores. He comes to the side of the goalie and just puts his arms now fans here in front of the people screaming wind chill epithets, Ed. So this wasn't just an not. I'm not condoning the the words. I'm simply saying he he did egg it on a bit and just standing there. But. It is not okay. You're up in different soccer leagues have taken the measure. It's amazing of punishing teams who can't keep their fans in line line. And they punish the teams. And they punish the fans by they call making them play behind closed doors. So imagine this you you're your fans engage in some sort of racist behavior entire section like this such as what you saw over the weekend, right? You are forced to play your home game. Maybe next one or one down the road. And you can't sell any tickets you have to play in front of an empty stadium and MD crowd. That's the punishment in soccer for racist abuse of opposing players. Let's bring it back to China. And the United States and what happened? Yesterday. In San Diego. I hope we never get to a point where yelling disgusting racial derogatory. Terms at players leads. Us to a point where teams to play in an empty stadium. I don't know fires would ever take that. Again, you make the argument at least night that as bad as but we had just earlier this year the Utah Jazz. We had the the Russell Westbrook issue where the guy the guy in the crowd was yelling Westbrook took it away. Call them boy or something, and he took it racially and they ban the guy for life from going to Utah Jazz games. But I I don't I don't know if it's happening more often. I don't know if we're like catching it on video, and we're getting we're getting better instances of it. But I still want to just acknowledge on some level. We are light years ahead of even places like Europe when it comes to can you imagine a world in which LeBron James when he dribbles the ball. Somebody was like a monkey chant or throw a banana or yell. The N word at them. The the the opposing kick the crap out of their own guy. What I'm saying? Like, they would they would take all the entire section eight. Yeah. I just listen. There is a line. There is a limit apparently last night in the Diamondbacks game. Adam Jones found that line and got a fan kicked out of the game. Are you going to be seeing more of this though, I wonder if there's just this lowering sensors the lowering of the standards and people are going to keep testing so lowering the standards on the fans park when you can get away with over on athletes. Maybe there's a combination athletes enough already or I don't have to put up with this. Exactly. And they're doing something about it. So what are popular baby names and not only that taking a look around the show here at Comilla producer Stevie Z, A, not a popular name. Let's just put myself where our names are. "They'll fan are taking on the Baltimore Orioles. And look I'm just going to give you something that jumped out at me, and it jumped out at you. We both understand that. The Orioles are probably going to have a historically bad season. Lost a hundred and fifteen games last year. Manny Machado was there for half the year. Adam Jones was there for the year. This is probably a worst team. They're gonna lose a lot of games. I understand that. I went on the fan sports book app. This is still baseball. Okay. This is a baseball game. Anything can happen in baseball. Right. I think it's a tremendous. The Orioles are monstrous underdogs underdogs. You never see at a baseball game. And it's moved a little bit more. Now know it's moved back because I think sanity. Plus two eighty actually what was that. What it was supposed to eighty? I think so all me. Well, then you know, what I trust? What I told you that was plus to ninety. Oh my God. So you actually went up this is baseball. Although the Yankees are going to be a million games better than the Orioles. But you'd agree that the knock going nineteen and no against the Orioles do grew seventy two to maybe. So there are two games. Were you walk? There are two games. The Orioles are going to win. So when I saw that number, and I said that's believable. I'm looking at every other baseball game today. Just to give context for those. Who are like, well, what does that mean? Plus two ninety first of all it means if you bet one hundred bucks on the Orioles winning two nine went to ninety right? But like the Mets are plus water weight. Right. The brewers and cardinals are even the Braves are a pretty big underdog at plus one sixty two one six. They're playing in Philadelphia and Knowle's on the Tigers are plus one thirty the Astros. I'm sorry the razor plus one oh six that's even without having Blake Snell on the mound, but they are facing Burland. The Rangers are plus all hundred the angels in as are basically a toss up the diamondback plus forty yards. What I'm saying the role of the wogs towards to ninety baseball days. Unbelievable that is ridiculous number. And I remember the look the fifty eight over the is ridiculous. But they they will probably lose. Well, I didn't bet it even considering it, look, even if they let's say they would fifty games this year. Fifty that meets fifty times they're gonna win a baseball. Let me ask John, John, John, sterling,.

"Nobody beats town fair tire. Nobody on the day. Mainly Machado finally signed. I will admit that. I don't know if there's a way for baseball to fix this part of it many got his money. So everybody's happy thought Frazier's happy for him. Everybody's thrilled. It is not good for an off season to drag out the way this baseball off seasons. Dragged out one of the fun things about the NBA off season the NFL off season the NHL off season is that when it starts. It's like a tornado. It just all comes flying at you. And it's crazy and these guys go at here, and that guy's going there and all the major stuff happens right out of the gate. It's February nineteenth and Manny Machado finally signed and Bryce Harper still hasn't signed. And of course, you've got the other guys like kimbrel kaikal and Marlene Gonzales Adam Jones that will start to happen. That's not good to have an off season drag out as slowly as this drag about Evan when I was growing up as a kid. I'll never forget nineteen ninety eight. And this is before waiter social media and waiting for a wash more find Sam bomb or passing bomb? No, I used to turn on WFAN listening to the twenty twenties. And I remember every day. I was nervous is Bernie Williams going to re sign with the New York Yankees. And I was very fearful that the Yankees, we're gonna take that money goes side, Albert bell. Hawaii hated I couldn't. Adam Jones doesn't have a deal. Marlin Gonzalez doesn't have a deal nor does Denard span. Jose laziest doesn't have a deal and. Among all free agent. Shortstops? He was the second best available shortstop after Manny Machado. Mike must stock is again doesn't have a deal. He couldn't get a deal last year. And really did was go out and hit more homers issue. He's still can't get a deal. Jeff. Paycheck. You wanna talk about a guy would be perfect for the Astros because he could a left handed power bat who can play third play. I isn't that perfect. But for the second year, this guy can't get a deal. It is. It's practice. It's mind boggling, these guys can't get deals. The guys who are accepting minor league deals at this point in the game. Devon meszaros. Just took a minor league deal with the Mets. Jonathan Luke, ROY and Chris Herman and Brian McCann and James McCann. And Jeff Mathis all these guys who weren't even as good as Rocco was last year. Ms Rocco was not good last year. They all got major league deals. Think about when those deals got done. November and December. Today in February guys are accepting minor league deals. Adam Jones's agent came out and said, it was a disgrace that he would have to take a minor league deal. Adam Jones is not that good anymore. He's a veteran player, and you'd think he'd be able to get some kind of major league deal. He has no deal right now. It's kinda like I said this is unprecedented territory because we have agents who are still holding out trying to get these mega contracts that baseball free agents have given out in the baseball's front offices have given out in the past. But a funny thing happened on the way to the deal. The major league baseball front offices. They got a little smarter. And all these analytically driven teams. Let's just just about everybody at this point. They've all recognize these ten year deals. They don't work. 'specially tenure deals for guys on the other side of thirty. They don't want to give up these these mega contracts and right now, we're in a situation, we're in a market where teams would be more willing to give you a higher average annual value and a shorter term contracts. So that they can pay the most for your best production as opposed to being stuck with you. When you're a shell of yourself. See pool halls Albert c Rodriguez. Alex. And right now. Apparently, the San Francisco Giants, according to Bob Nightingale USA today. They plan to make an offer to Bryce Harper that will be big bucks short years. That they have no desire to go for one of these ten year three hundred million dollar deal types that the nationals reportedly made him during the season last year that Boris said no chance..

But Adam Jones, man, he's a name right pack in no different. Adam Jones dot it. I'm kidding. First of all, but I just just just somebody signed. So we could talk about it. I'm so dry on idea. Adam Jones should be signed soon. I just feel like, you know, it's obviously it's one of those things where Machado and Harper wherever they sign it's going to let off like a whole domino effect throughout the. League the WWE needs to take advantage of this slow start in like the NFL football in just taken just do something exciting. They oh, they are doing something exciting. You know, what I'm gonna wait till the all star break and harbors go to you You know, know what? what? And you know, what I'm gonna wait to the end of the season to make a decision. I'm gonna just sit out this way. Not having contracts. Sounds fun. Let's do that. Let's just have them play in like like, let's say they just go to random teams in his you know, we'll feral play with every single team in spring training that one time where he played for every single team. Yes, how Harper Machado just do that during spring training? See what happens see what they like about him. Is Russell Wilson going to go spring training again this year. Do I I know probably he usually does doesn't he? Yes. So I would say so he usually likes to do that kind of stuff will Tim Tibo mak- major league roster. I know. No, okay. Is he still with the Mets if I'm taking he will play at least one game for ticket sales. That's all I'm going to put all I'm gonna say. I think he'll play in major league baseball is here for ticket purposes. That's only that's the only reason he did do good last year in the minors. But now, I'm sorry. He's not he's now. But yes, of course, there is a marketing ploy to this nothing. He's got he got signed to a minor league team because of marketing purposes, but he played well last year in the minor leagues. Like he had decent numbers. Yeah. But they're not major league numbers. Right either. They're not a reason to Tibo will play in the major leagues this year. That is my prediction. He's probably gonna play free training alone. That's. For sure. But what if he has spring training if he has a good spring? He's going to play in the majors on the asset. But again, he has to play a good spring training. What if he's just all right? They probably go back. You get the benefit of the delta. Right. I mean, if you have the chance to put him on the roster not completed bears himself or the club. Why wouldn't you do it? What's the Mets AAA team? They play in your there are they like Staten Island or Long Island. Dan, I see him playing there. No, I remember we I remember last week. We did that awesome thing of we had all the Syracuse mitts.
