"The panics is a site that will probably be deserted when you get there, even though if you turn around and look back the hill of the acropolis will be literally crawling with tourists. You'll be 5 minutes away and you'll be in the almost empty grassy Parkland and this is the site of the birth of democracy. Even if it's not quite democracy as we know it today, I think there's people tend to gloss over that in fact there were a lot of deeply oppressed people in an ancient Athenian society. But this was the site of the first democratic assemblies of ancient Greece. We're talking going back in the 5th century BCE. Now in the original time, when the plex started serving this function, it was pretty much as you're seeing it now. It was open Parkland. It was a field. They weren't any fancy buildings there. It was a field where the citizens of Athens gathered to discuss the issues of the day. And if you go there, you will see there is a stone platform at one point of it called the bema. And the PMA is where, I guess, the equivalent of the speaker of the assembly set and led the proceedings. But what is remarkable about this Parkland is you can walk around the field if there's more than one of you. One of you can stay at the bema at the orator's platform. And the other person can go to various places in the field and talk in practically normal tones and their companion at the beamer will be able to hear what they say. So we actually tested these acoustics out. When I was there, and it really brought home how one person standing at the back of a crowd could have made his voice heard in this democracy. And it would have been a he, because they would have been no women allowed. As I said, essence was actually its treatment of women at that time was on par with what we consider the most oppressive regimes today, which is something that gets forgotten, I think, but it's still a remarkable moment to stand there and realize that you in the presence of this moment in history that is not marked by any massive monuments. It's just a field. I have completely missed it and I've been at the acropolis museum, which is what 5 blocks away or something like that and had just no idea that it was there. The acropolis museum, I won't talk about the acropolis museum, except to say it is wonderful. It's wonderful, but again, don't want to waste too much time. You should go to the acropolis and you should go to the museum and you should definitely go to the top story of the museum where you can see the Parthenon marbles or what's left of them, particularly because all the gaps in the person on marbles that have been looted by other countries, most notably by Elgin, are filled by replicas and the difference in color between the very white plaster replicas and the originals. It just brings that message home very strongly about what's being taken.

"And Rihanna. Oh, yes, the full name. I'm not hydrated at all today. We were just having an extensive conversation about breeze dehydration and her aversion to water, which we've talked about on the show a couple of times, but it is very hot. There is in fact a heat wave happening across many parts of the United States and here in Los Angeles. It is still, I believe, a 101° outside. In our neck of the Woods, let's see. Oh no, it's dropped down to about 95. That's hot. That's like under boob sweat ball sweat material. And it's 7 o'clock at night still. So I feel like I'm in the desert, like in Arizona. I'm like, this is like desert weather. It's not supposed to be this hot this late. We have a couple hot 91° days here in Washington, and now today it's 65. Like I just dropped 20°. Great. Yeah. Sounds beautiful. 65°, just envision it. The cool breeze hitting your face. Take a big, deep breath, and you go, mmm, that feels nice. Yeah. Right, your face too. Meanwhile, we're all like so much sweat. Anyway, welcome to the show, everybody. We are glad that you are here as Brittany mentioned. We're going to be talking about the Nintendo direct because there was a bunch of news that dropped and we're recording the show a little bit early this week. So I fully anticipate some other big breaking news to happen, but unfortunately we'll have to cover it in next week's episode. But I want to give a big shout out and thank you to this month's Patreon producers to his guts on Alex acropolis Ferris at T Justin foshee, Matthew guder and punk defied, and welcome to our Patreon community, or should I say welcome back, Charles fanning. By the way, of everybody who has taken the time to send us a message when you have left Patreon dot com slash good games. We appreciate and see that you guys support us and just can't at the moment and we totally get it. Times are tough right now, but know that you are welcome back at any moment. And if you don't have a couple bucks to come back, you can always leave us a 5 star review on the podcast platform of your choice, which these days really feels like mostly just Apple, almost everybody be on Apple podcasts these days. Poor Apple, that company is just hurting. You know what I mean? They just have no money, no resources. Struggling. Struggling that our show can give them the coverage that they deserve. You know what I mean? Anyway, yeah, speaking of 5 star reviews. Thank you, new viewers. Great wolves, Justin Valentine, and skate Chris 90. Every week we get an email of our new podcast reviews. And I'll admit, I'm really giddy when I click on it. And it's like, oh, what do people say about us this week? It makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Makes Andrea feel warm and fuzzy, makes refill warm and fuzzy who knows. Maybe if you leave a review saying re drink some F and water, maybe she'll actually drink some water and she won't come to the show. Dehydrated. I care about ree so much, but she said she's gonna start walking around looking like a husk 'cause she has no fluid in her body. Desiccated. I do like that in gray wolves review. They wrote, listen, or go to HE and then did the double hockey stick emojis. I was like, aw, that's clever. I like that. We're getting aggressive. Yeah. So thanks, so thanks everybody for that. But how about we talk about some news? And I mentioned that today's show is brought to you by athletic greens, but I'll tell you a little bit more about that later on. As Brittany mentioned, it's now time for the Nintendo direct power hour. Brittany, it looks like you pulled a handy little write up from the fine folks over at IGN dot com. And let me tell you the very first story has me shook. I thought this day would never come, but lo and behold, persona 5 has comes in the Nintendo Switch. Oh my freaking God. It is happening. I remember when we all were talking about how much we want persona on the switch, but we never thought it was going to come to be. We never thought it would manifest. I don't know what contract ink is now disregarded in the recycle bin. I don't know what happened, but whatever is gone and tips up and has expired. I am so thankful. This is where the series belongs, ladies, is on the switch. And like I was saying because last week or two weeks ago, let me get to the actual news itself. Persona 5 is coming to persona 5 royal is coming to the switch alongside persona four golden and persona three portable persona four and three are coming later persona 5 is coming on October 21st. So I mean, I don't know what else to say other than if you haven't played persona yet and it looks like you're kind of game. You should absolutely play it. I think even though it's coming on Xbox and I don't know, I think that's kind of the only other platform. I think switch is definitely the one you should play it on. It's just lives at home. I feel like on a portable device. I will say presents persona 5 did come out on PS4 and PS3 back in the day. It's hard to believe, but it did. You know, obviously it's a great little like Doc game, but what I play persona three for the first time, which is my plan on the switch. I'm definitely gonna play it in the handheld mode. Steiner used to talk about playing games that way, only certain games she wanted to plan handheld mode and I never understood it. But now I get it. It's just one of those warm and fuzzy things. But yeah, anyway, it's coming and I'm just so happy..

"Don't really want to be in cost things very much because it was. Somebody's trusting and counting on the country. Think about it much because I know that probably been what I can do is try to do my best to achieve results, but myself because it's over there. So when you get off the phone to him, that was a bit of a politician's answer he gave. He knows he knows the game, a bit of a non answer, which is yeah, it's nice, but hey, we'll see. Almost a racing drivers have kind of got that answer non answer. Do you reckon he really knows though he's got he's got a good opportunity. I think he's being clever there because he doesn't want to put any extra pressure on himself and let's be honest he's still very young. He doesn't need to have that extra pressure on there. So he's very being very clever there, but there's no doubting the talent that this kid has, because he got his first two rally wins last year for the first time in Estonia and then he obliterated the field in acropolis, which is not a place you go and do are certainly on your debut at that event as well. So this reason why arie flatten and said that because the guy is going to be a superstar. There's no question about it. He will be I'm sure he'll be a world champion at some point. And he's got plenty of years in the bank to still be the youngest because Colin McRae did it when he was 27 and so Callie's got a lot of time to do it. For me, he could well be, he could well be the championship. There's no question why couldn't if the car is good, he does exactly what he's done last season and built on that. He's going to be a formidable person to beat. And then you also spoke to and put to him. That perhaps last year was frustrating, but also this year could be wiping the slate clean and here's what he had to say. The performance side and the car improved, but we just didn't manage to put the package together, but now we have the blank page. So we have a good chance to work through everything and.

"We if we can get the vaccine going to say you feel like it's it's it's earned its place on the calendar doug be going back to some of the traditional safari rallies acropolis is important for the wrc's have these iconic events back. You have to have a mix for sure you know about the end of the day you now. The the promoters have to also after work harder to have a former one is big. They have a good. Tv needs to increase the tv and and show people all over the role the have to raise the levels. When having credible spark like like rallying you know you have to be invested in it and to reach new levels so because when you look at the pictures from safari rally on greece and stuff. It's it's it's incredible on the you just need to be better. Mark thing blunt to get the show more places around the world and and they get people interactive to the sport. Maybe more bedroom so so that's good. I think you know after the netflix series for so that was a big big step forward again. So you have to use our imaginations and and then give it the push nailsea makes over over rallies and he's three is very important and i after about the even numbers and stuff from a rally was maybe the biggest It's been for a.

"Had the patron but that was more in the private team too much politics look too much credit but it was also to back garden. Let's talk about crop last weekend. Obviously the rally was dominated by kelly rovanpera water performance from him. Can you just talk us through. How good that drive was for sure. I know his father very well. I talked to her very often. And we talk about the rallies and stuff like that but for sure with callers performance there and i think he did a really good job most of them all the details and and looked at the local films from early days and and inventory didn't look like he had respect for the rally at all you know and the end of the day very well because he's rallying you should respect big over anxious or or the car about the color has a very good team by any means so many finnish people in that royal that they've been a lot of knowledge and look experience and and they have also the drivers that they are working very closely with them or jr evanson and all this so all the information is taking control and the driving in the team. You know you have to. You have to work together to give experience and and and the end of the days you know you always will do the best as won't for the for yourself up the for the other drivers and the team you know. They have to take care of the young guys in into help. You need be needing robbers in the future. Like like all of their and have a very impressive performance course he had these times also very bad for many rallies in after shelter belts. And you should never give up on anybody in and just because you have an incredible speed than the car control. He won in to store near in such devastating fashion. But i think many people expected to do well there. They didn't expect him to do as well. Maybe in acropolis but he on saturday. He demolish the failed. He was three point seven lead. They extended to forty seconds over four stages. It was an incredible run and these young guys learning very quickly and we see that young is very seldom really well in that type of wage. You know it's it's from twenty six normally. that is starting false about. I think it's a look of help from this onboard and and also which team you are in to take care of you you know and this is the same the renault. It's good fan and take really good care. Women and iso is still going to take time. You know it's not the same same development before everybody's than then. They needed the incredible incredible performance. Day should be very proud in them. Choice for the souls. Perry probably he was oversee very emotional. His father harry. You know you can't get any worse than almost you know. Obviously there the weather change to very petralli part of it so it's not so much that any of us are used to at all but it was like is in places when esau sold the film so by name as great to get greece back again and by the government is involved like there are and the and the history of rallying there and for the people. Because i've also the state start on the first date in in town and we'll stay with the with the government people able fantastic atmosphere for that point of view. It's it's it's fantastic to have it back just before we dove into that that rally firstly. I just wanted to talk about today. Posted on social media that duchy sadly today the fourteen years ago we lost colin mcrae. And you post on social media. Throw very very nice. Pasta just wanted to sort of firstly touch on that. Obviously he was a team of yours. Arrival it's important to remember. People aren't cullen in isn't i. Think calling richard you know. They're i call nicole this porch and the thing is is some people you should never forget the people that have been teammates or or work with and or or in general i think good members from them and the and the fantastic drivers will champions. You'll never forget these people. Of course it's tough all the time for the for all the families and the kids push for you know about the while i for sure. Great memories from both of them. So it's and it's great to let people see that the we still always remember them. I just ask guests before we start the pocus. Actually just one question is your favorite ever rally and your favorite ever rally awe at the very tough. It's all depends on the on the decade. Been driving for a long time. "So i'm not sure how helpful yet that would be a lot more intelligent engineers than i think i could bring but hey if that's what helps me get across the show. All you've trying to have talks with. Tell us for next year. Is that something on your mind at this point or you just focusing on the on the job at hand. Yeah i'll look at. The moment is just i need to get in a few rallies. I think yeah and kind of move on from aaron put my best foot forward and and that sort of i guess that's my biggest priority lies right at the moment and then and just import obviously just to solve harlow. How your career is exploded. Friend of mutual friend of ours in front of the pocus rally has been the children's book about you. Now that like to to to see that because that's quite a quite something special isn't it. Yeah it's very very cool. And then also i think just yet just to be in the company of the other drivers that he's reading a bat is pretty pretty surreal. So i don't know if i really feel worthy of that that thanks and i'll take it and and i keep seeing how the book sales that go in and who's lead and how many i have to buy the top of my sales so i can convey number one it the great bunch of books and i think they're going pretty well so yeah it was pretty cool. Good for females are wanna get into the sport to have that sort of icon that they can read about young age. Children spa them. Yeah exactly. I think that's what we were talking about earlier. It's just really important that this that visibility rather than yet having to it's not that anyone's toppled a young. Oh you can't do it but you know you see watch. Tv ratings you you pick up from what you see around you so if you don't have the visibility of those things it's just things that don't get put on the right our just to shoot that. It's not something they can do. So i think that yet that visibility is just why more important than i even appreciated until recently like. I guess we'll just wrap up with just a last. Look in acropolis you'll you'll be flying there. I believe this week so what what goes into getting iraqi done getting prepared for one of the hardest rallies on the calendar. Yeah we fly tomorrow to gray sweet test. It's actually quite a long way because the rally so spread out. There's a lot of road mileage to get old sages so we start rookie early on monday. We do record for three days and move around some different hotels during that time at depending on where we are in gray site. Don't ask me why because Several tell me tell me to lift all so yeah we do that for three days in getting to the shake down and Yeah then getting at each the rally in starting athens with a straight stage and then yet three days of of.

"And extreme me but you had a dabbling circuit racing in australia. Your armpit vigneault round mean. There was a very short. I really enjoyed it. I mean unfortunately we have quite a few mechanical drivers so we never got. I don't if we ever got a clean race in but yeah it was an awesome experience and yet that's aside from doing the extreme stuff now mainly time doing a bit of traffic inside by saad racine which was pretty pretty cool fairly inside-out i mean i'd love to do boy was was good fun definitely. Obviously there was. There was a period where v eight supercars was was being talked about. You had a test. Can you sort of run for some of that. How closely yeah. I had a test. I think it was two thousand seven to in two thousand seventeen and one of the super to supercars which was in. We went in and by had a bowl it was. It was an amazing so so different to anything that even cost driven before but actually loves it and and see in the end it was. It was a look to Put together us alongside the rally programs so didn't end up coming together but some would have been it would have been cool but in any case just advertising in one of those cars and that was that was a pretty cool experience that could talk about would beat the race at bathurst in in one of those. Yeah that would be. That would be real. Probably we just to solve your holiday around. You've now so of brushed onto a media career as well with your own channel seven so you sort of china you try and the other side of the fence as well. Yeah yeah having go. Being the interviewer interviewee which is really difficult for respect. Everyone who does that. Especially when it's live the pit city but someone in your ear and yeah. "After subaru sort of was out of the championship quite a while and came back in that year so for yet it was a bit of a a Yet dream stop to the program and to be able to continue on on with them with yet. Pretty pretty cool feeling and i have a great relationship with subaru and they really feel like my my second family. Yes i remember that. Phone around at cobb saban thinking it was it was a close because we were still trying to work out the just knowing you had done it it was. It wasn't wasn't easy but failing to actually achieve it. Larry that's kind of it wasn't we never thought because we were still running car in group in stick way sort about regulations allowed full freedom so it was never really the the intention to to win because we didn't think in the group had cobby wanted to prove has good tau was it has a production level. But you know it wasn't going to be the fastest out there side which is about yet consistency in just getting getting some good solid results in you know it's kind of i guess that boring shy about finishes and consistency wins championships. So yet the end it was still coming into the final round. Wasn't really what we thought would happen. In just the way you know everything went with with others having problems and Yeah it just the. The points ended up that way. It was a bit of a surprise to be honest in a good learning experience for me as well in in championships in driving professionally. I suppose in the job that you'll they had to do and making sure that you're doing your job in how Yeah sometimes you obviously want to drive as fast as you can bet driving smart. He's also really important part of the job to say. Obviously rallying is in the blood..

"You've been involved in in the female side in australia with with cans now most australia's so i guess this carries on a on a global level. Yeah exactly and i mean the visibility of extreme as amazing. So i think it's it's really cool from from that side but also just from the environmental sustainability side as well To be able to spread that message. I think it's a really. It's really powerful. That would been able to do motorsport and coomer photo cool racing in a way. That's also giving back in so many other ways as well on august the future then to you hope to be doing this for wall an extreme as at the plan. Yeah i hope so. I'm really enjoying the adventure. So far and i think like the start of any new series. You're always trying to improve and develop and tweak things and we've seen a lot of tweaks in the format in the white things run over the past few events role on the i guess development process at say abi greatest to see where we end up the guy something that's completely new. Start at a pretty high spot. So i think it's going to be exciting to see what's gonna happen in the future off. The back of this has the is the rally free program emotions at how it how it happened and they already kind of would be chatting about that for for quite a while was sort of like happening at a similar time. I guess that is certainly helping your as well made everything a lot. More possible so Yet necessarily because of extreme but they certainly Yet helped along the way our and this runny free program on c. three rallies we start with estonia. That was obviously a difficult one. But you have acropolis next week and finland coming up. So it's quite exciting program isn't it. Yeah it's an amazing program. And i mean it obviously started pretty disastrously so yes that i wasn't. I mean i guess. That's motorsport doesn't always go to plan. But i was pretty heartbreaking to to stop the programming that way. So i'm just looking forward to get in grayson aid some kilometers and hopefully getting to be the redemption back. Yeah making the most of these opportunities because it's not a lot of events but some really good ones. And i wanna make sure next month in every every kilometer in the next year. Some is pretty cool looking back because you hit the ground running so well and extremely with with johan kristoffersen dominate didn't win. The last one was a bit of drama there. But but you've really done done yourself proud and your rights. Essentially the best of the best rally drives that ever existed. Thank you yeah. It's it's been a great start. I mean we're pretty Pretty devastated to come so close to with sweden's well last weekend but we're still still in a good position by in the final. I mean not having any relics experience nervous enough lining up on the start line of the funnel with five cows for that. I looked everett special next to me so that just yeah that was kind of thinking about that because yeah that was a pretty i. Kind of. Just looking the hotline. They give you a three minute warning. She kind of preparing in thinking about what you're gonna do about the start. And then the exodus lead style of the corner of my eye and went holy crap. Don't think about that. I get along seriousness. You've done really well in soft put yourself. I guess on the map globally again. We'll say like to feel back in that in that cherian. Yeah it's nice to be to be back over here and had an amazing experience. The first time in you know how much spoke finding the opportunities in everything where you can. I mean i still think to have the opportunity to go back to australia. With subaru and driving factory programs dayton amazing for my career But still to be the still wants to combine that with some international events as well. But it's it's hard to always see how that is possible so this This experiences yet been great to come back again for round two of of living like my man feel like i did this already..

That's complicated. You see that, of course, on on video walls and stuff like that, But that's what you're this. What you've been looking at. Those are called video walls. And as you figured out, those are quite expensive and you know they're designed for business. And that's okay. That's okay. I just You know the settings. Everyone has pictures on the wall. But I just thought if I put, you know, even love this idea, I always wanted to remember in Harry Potter. It would look like a painting, but it would then it would wink at you or get up and walk away. I always wanted to do that. You know, uh, down the hall have all the pictures of the family and it looks like it's just portraits. Except when you're walking out everyone's well, when we look at you were say hi or wink and you think, am I? Hello? I thought that'd be fun. So there are video wall controllers out there that you can get. Uh, that's what you need to do this. Um, they don't. They're not hugely Huh? There's a company called on Sign TV. Oh, they're a bunch of Samsung makes one. Uh, There are a lot of these, Um they're in the hundreds of dollars. They're not hugely expensive. And the the video wall controller will then Be programmable to do basically what you want. Okay? Um, So you could say these are all independent until five minutes before the hour when they all get together and show the same. You know, parts of the same picture. Yeah, I wonder if you could. I'm just saying, like, you know, like you obviously have the view and your friends and all of a sudden you throwing like I was just in Greece last week. The Acropolis across all, Yeah..

"About state of hate far-right extremism in europe. A report that he edited which came out today. Joe thank you very much. Thanks very much. It is chilly out there. Record low temperatures across the midwest and south today have brought rolling blackouts of americans in negative nine degree weather in kansas city generators switched on on the other side of the atlantic. They're out skating on amsterdam's frozen canals and a once in a decade snowfall. So a snowman on the acropolis and kids and snowball fights in the streets of athens. Our environment editor caroline. Bieler joins me now to talk about what's up with this wacky and frankly dangerous winter weather for people not prepared for it. Hey caroline hey marco so it seems the polar vortex is once again the culprit here. Yeah that's right. And and that's an actual. Scientific term is not just social media. Speak for when it gets super cold. the polar vortex is swirling mass of cold air that usually spins around up in the arctic and usually stays pretty well pendant up. There kept their in part by the jet stream. And what's happening right now. Is the polar vortex. It is all messed up. It's actually slipped out of the arctic. Its way down south in the us. Right now in this disruption is also what's causing the snowfall on record cold in parts of europe right. Now you mentioned the jetstream refresh my memory and what role that plays so the jetstream or are these winds that blow west to east around the globe further south than the polar vortex and it helps keep weather systems moving and it also helps keep that cold air penned up in north but the jet stream is sort of less strong when these winds become wavy can allow the cold air to slide down the globe from the arctic down farther south into the us europe and asia across the globe and they can actually basically start poking at the polar vortex to and toppling that spinning top on top of the globe over helping to send it down to places like texas right and caroline. This is a question that always comes up with weird weather. These days is there. Climate change link. There are lots of factors that drive winter weather but it does look like the warming of our planet is one of them. These weird jobs that the polar vortex takes down. South are not new. They happen every couple of years on average but there are studies that document and increase in these little trips. Down south for that icy weather The science of why exactly is not settled. And you know it's always hard to prove cause and effect there is evidence to suggest that warming is making the jet stream more wavy liked. We talked about more likely to let that cold air escape down south and that's especially true when there are other forces that are also poking at the polar vortex trying to knock that spinning top over other forces like what well especially warm. Arctic high temperatures and low sea ice cover which we've had this year in key areas The warm air can basically helped to form the polar vortex and get it to to be all wonky and we know that the arctic is warming twice as fast as the rest of the planet and climate. Scientists will tell you that happened in. The arctic does not stay in the arctic. You heard the phrase global weirding is that what's going on here. Yeah we know that overall on average climate change is causing warmer winters. That's for sure. But scientists are starting to link more and more wacky winter weather in some cases caused by the polar vortex with climate change. The world's environment correspondent carolyn. Baylor thanks so much for checking in on this very cold and somewhat. we're day you're welcome marco. You're listening to the world. I'm marco werman you're with the world imagine an observatory like a global weather forecasting centre except it wouldn't monitor for things like hurricanes instead it would be on the lookout for viruses circulating in humans and the next pandemic threat. The making of Yanni

The making of Yanni

"In the nineteen nineties. I wrote an op Ed. For The New York Times where I tried to make sense and make fun of an inexplicable pop phenomenon that was sweeping the planet. Another single name star. Yanni was a huge deal at the time this new age composer and performer doing concerts at the Taj Mahal and the Forbidden City in Beijing. He released his live at the Acropolis album in the spring of Nineteen ninety-four which sold more than four million copies. This baffled me and my times s I propose facetiously that Johnny success must be the product of some powerful global conspiracy because this young Yanni guy and his music were so completely blah. Lots of people agreed. There's one guy the worst guy the music the Yanni man. You know Yanni first of all anyone who looks like a magician and doesn't do magic I don't like oh no. This is yawning. This guy is the biggest pothole I've ever seen in my life. So how did it happen? How did somebody who made? What sounded like high-end Muzak? How at that moment of Nirvana and a tribe called quest? Did he emerged as this superstar? Studio Three Sixty Seven Chong has the answers. The nineteen ninety. Tv special of Yanni's concert at the Acropolis has all the trappings of a musician. Doing a victory lap. After really hitting the big time there was set against the backdrop of the Parthenon backed by no less than the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Tossing back. His dark flowing locks as tap that his synthesizers while an enormous crowd cheered them on. But if you thought that this was Yanni's ward for being world-famous you'd have it backwards. Yanni wasn't on TV. Because he was a star. He was a star because he was on TV. Yanni was a niche player. He was big in his area. But that's relative George Barris produced and directed the live at the Acropolis special and worked with Yanni for years. He wasn't considered a big player. In the overall music field. Yanni's field was the world of instrumental electronic new age music. He had been releasing albums for a small new age label since the mid eighties and they got respectable sales within that market but the general public dismissed all that stuff as music for hot stone massages or being put on hold. He was being buttonholes. A new age artists and there was no superstar Andrea. If Yanni was well known for anything it was for being the new boyfriend of a celebrity opened. The front door opened the door. I took one look at him. I lost my heart. This entire one thousand. Nine Hundred Oprah episode is actually devoted to dynasty actress. Linda Evans and her meet cute with Yanni. It was as if he was made. Just for my eyes. I mean there's nothing about exposure was nice but Yanni wanted to be more than talk show fodder the frustration was. He was hitting like a glass ceiling. But we believe in the music we saw there could be used in a lot of other areas than just in elevators and that was the challenge we had to get it out there and let the public decide the what options beyond he have. His music wasn't really radio. Friendly an MTV wasn't exactly making a lot of room for instrumental new age composers. And then.
