"I enjoyed a lot. Yeah it seems like a pretty good living. I mean. I mean good job if you liked the subject matter and you get the people come in. And they ask for references and things like i mean preferences and breakdowns and things like that right right. Yeah that's why i got into it. I mean i started collecting comics as a kid. And you know. I was always in there and everything so and just grew up with this kind of stuff. And it's what i wanted to do so online now days. I do have a website. I yeah. I built a website about a year ago and Yeah it's it's a smaller part of my business but it it does exist in. Yeah i get sales all over the country now so do you have like all right. Holy grail of comic books. And i'm guessing in this world where james dean's Transmission just sold for three hundred seventy five grand three hundred and eighty five grand like just collecting stuff. Guitars watches cars. you know. it's all memorabilia. Celebrity stuff comic books. Must be heading up did you. do you have one. That's worth a lot or better yet. Did you trade went off for pennies on the dollar years ago so you could buy a vw square back when you're going into college i've had a really nice ones come through the store and I told them. But i did have the first appearance of the punisher. Amazing spider man. One twenty nine and actually just yesterday. I my first appearance of harley quinn which is a little bit sad to see go but a couple of nights one. That hurt harley quinn ballpark. I got six hundred bucks for all right now. Is that going to be worth six thousand and ten years or less you know. They seem like they just keep going up. So yeah it's probably a good investment. Do you ever just sock any away. I've got a couple of the the first appearances of some of the spider man. Villains like i've got the first appearance of carnage and the first appearance black cat. I like spider man. When i was a kid not the comic book. I didn't condone any thing that both reading. But i always the cartoon and the thing is great about the cartoon it's the kick ass theme song kick asked theme and the guy was self deprecating. A key he had a sense of humor about himself. Yeah and spiderman. Like he wasn't getting the girl he was always it was like he didn't take himself super seriously. Like some of the other stuff always felt like sort of weird gay erotica angry whatever and and it was so straight and spiderman always the spiderman cartoon series from back in the sixties. I'd probably watch the reruns in the seventies or something. It was funny like the guy was the guy had takata's like he was self deprecating. Was fun that next. Yeah teen angst. That's how i got into comic myself was through the cartoons For me it would have been the nineties spiderman cartoon and then the batman animated series. Those are real big. When i was a kid so All right grinds many question. Did you notice like certain characters. I guess going up or down in popularity based on i would imagine movies or tv shows portrayed in media absolutely. Yeah marvel's been obviously making a lot of movies and shows on disney plus and all that and it seems like every time they debut and new character.
