It's still sinking in to be honest. My big focus tonight was just go out there and be me. Don't try to be anyone I'm not. And stay in the moment. And I felt like I did that. TPUSA's Kalen D'Almeida on Antifa's Latest Violent Activities
"Is with us, kalen, walk us through what happened when you were in Sacramento. Sure. We got there to the capitol. And I want to say that things like this happened, but the main thing is that the Chloe Cole was having a speech and, you know, trying to raise awareness for detransitioners. And that I think is the most important thing that went on that day. However, we arrived to the capitol and about two minutes after being there. I couldn't even get through my initial introduction before someone came up with a miniature Louisville slugger and destroyed my cameras man. My cameraman's lens, luckily, Charlie paxil is a pro and he was able to fix it and we were able to keep going. So I'm really thankful for that. But they were incredibly aggressive just right off the start, there may have been 75 plus of them. And I personally haven't seen a group like this that has been this aggressive and violent in a while. So that was kind of surprising because normally they march in the streets and they try to shout people down and they threaten people, but today or excuse me that day they had quite a few guys striking, you know, moving behind the barriers that they have up, they hold flags and they hold banners and they really create a wall of bodies with shields, but then they had guys who were brave enough to come out and striking an assaulting people, the man whose head was split open right above his eye. He was bleeding profusely, but he said, yeah, it was just standing on the sidewalk.

Doug Welcomes Back Former NFL Coach Chan Gailey
"Gailey, coach extraordinary glad to have him with a stock in the year and also what's going ahead in this time of year. So what are college coaches doing right now? Right now they are organizing for their off season program, spring practice, they are evaluating last year's film. What they did good, what they did bad. And this is going to be good for pros and college in many respects. But there are evaluating what they did good, what they give and what they need to improve upon. The difference and I might even talk about the differences between college and profile of sitting here because pros have got a decent idea who's going to be back next year. Right. Some of the colleges, they're still recruiting their kids, you know, they don't know who's going to be back next year. That's the challenge that they have. And transfer portal made that even worse. Oh, it's ten times worse. At least, you know, 5 years ago, you knew you had going into spring practice to practice. You knew who you had. Because a guy, to be eligible, he would have had to have already transferred and gone somewhere else and it just wasn't an open door policy at any point in time. And so. It's much more difficult on the college guy right now as far as evaluate what they did last year is about the same. Right. Okay. How good were we in red zone? Had a good war worry two minute offense. How good were we? Kick off return. All that. And but the personnel, who you have, the pro guy has a great idea about what he has and the college guy does it.

A Maricopa-Style Super Bowl
"Yesterday morning, I was going for a walk and the Super Bowl was in Phoenix and I saw a bunch of guys wearing eagles gears and again, I don't have strong opinions about the eagles or the chiefs honestly. Don't really have a dog in the fight. And so I said this non sarcastically to this group of guys, maybe it came across our cast. Hey guys, good luck today. And they stopped. They said, we don't need it. We're going to wet. I was like, what? That's a very strange way to respond. And unfortunately, that was a pattern of eagle fans that I encountered in the valley. They were very, very convinced that they were going to win. And they didn't. But however, to the eagles community, they definitely do have a rather strong argument that bad things do happen in Maricopa County when the referees don't do their job. Okay, so let's just indulge me for a second. I know a lot of you in the audience say Charlie, why do you talk about football? They're the worst and all this. I love football. I'm not going to apologize for it. Yes, I know I have to I have to tolerate their wokeness and all this stuff. But the beauty of the sport of football is worth cringing and complaining during the microdosing of woke ism. This is the zapruder film. I'm sorry, it has to be pretty film. It is the end of the chiefs game, the chief's eagles game, which is now in eagles, folklore, gonna be analyzed more than that of the Kennedy assassination. Watch this objectively. By the way, I did not want the eagles to win. The whole day I was bothered by the fact that the eagles fans are we don't need luck. We're gonna win. Okay, pal. And also, I really, I like Jalen hurts and I like Patrick Mahomes, but just look at this, this is how a Super Bowl should be decided. No, I liked the outcome and I'm telling you, this is an in. This is a bad call. It's bad for the sport. It deteriorates trust in referees. Let them play, especially that's two minutes. There should be an unspoken rule by NFL officials that you only throw a flag unless it is convincing.

Charlie Munger Calls for Crypto Ban in the U.S.
"On Groundhog Day, we have someone doubling down on their anti crypto stance and Adam is going to start us off with that. What do you got at him? Thanks, Zach. First up, a new opinion piece in The Wall Street Journal calling for a ban on cryptocurrencies is generating a lot of chatter this morning. It's authored by Charlie Munger, the ultra wealthy octogenarian vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, and a noted Bitcoin skeptic. In the piece, which is actually surprisingly short, munger describes cryptocurrencies as quote gambling contracts with a nearly 100% edge for the house. He then calls for a broad federal band saying in part quote, the government of China banned cryptocurrencies because it widely concluded that they would provide more harm than benefit. Before going on to cite a ban on the trading of new equities in 1700s England, which I found an interesting comparison. It's not a particularly nuanced article and notably towards the end, it suggests that after instituting a federal ban, the U.S. should quote thank the Chinese communist leader for a splendid example of common sense end quote. There's a decent amount to be said here even before we get into the rather polarized comments on the article. Jen, you want to start us off today? Sure. I love that you brought up all those quotes. It really wasn't a long article. I think when you go to The Wall Street Journal, it says it takes two minutes to listen to it, so it was very short. It had very little examples, and I have to say it was very one sided. That said, Charlie Munger, a very smart man, made billions in his life, but he doesn't like Bitcoin and we know that, right? I think it's really interesting and funny that he brings up China as the example that we should all follow in this hatred towards Bitcoin and crypto and fails to mention that China is actually leveraging the technology that powers all of this for their own benefit in their CBDC and NFT project. I know I saw Zack's hand go up, but before we get to use Zach, Adam, you brought up this gambling contract piece from the story and I have to read what came right before that. He said such a wretched excess has gone on because there is a gap in regulation, a cryptocurrency is not a currency, not a commodity, and not a security he then goes on to say, it is just a gambling contract. This man hates crypto, and I think that's okay. This is really funny that it was published as an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal given that it was so excited is my take on

It'll be nostalgic, and it's something that I think you're You go? Oh, yes, I've heard of this. Or you probably maybe have been to a few of these, even but I'll bring you up to speed on that here momentarily. Um, I just I'll start with this headline. Uh, man bitten by escaped python while sitting on the toilet. Can you imagine something like this happening? In Austria. It's It's straight out of your worst nightmare, right? The guy's 65 years old. He feels a nip in the nether regions, if you will, and by nip, I mean, you know, a nip Um And which, by the way you go. Is there such thing as a nip? Especially in that area? No, I'd say there's probably something a little It seems like an understatement. Right When you're saying a nip, um he stands up and he finds an albino reticulated python. And it escaped from his neighbor's apartment, and it went through the drains and, um they they brought somebody into they. They safely captured the snake. There was no snake harmed in the capture or in this story, if you will. And there's It's the owners, a 24 year old guy, and they're saying he could. You could face charges of bodily harm. I mean, look, the python gets away. Um, but you know, I can you can you play fetch with them? I mean, look, I love animals, too. But it's as far as I don't know, man. I don't know. I mean, thank you, Marcher. Thank you, because I don't want to be the only one here. People yelling at the radio going Give animals a chance. It's like, Well, yeah. Give him a chance as indulge cage of.

"You have about two minutes to get into the cube and making Dion worker We're making Dion work today when we got to the phone lines one more time, Elena. How can I help you? Hi. Thank you for taking my call. I I have a house that I live in. And but I and I have $100,000 in cash only. I don't have an IRA. I don't have anything else except my home and this money Now my son lived in Vermont. He does not want to move to California because of health reasons. He can only work part time, so I want to buy him an investor home in Vermont. Should it be a second home or an investor home? And also, uh, will a modular home be a good investment or a a regular home? He's not a big fixer upper he can do because medic is off. Right. Great. Thanks. Great questions. Um, so I guess my first comment is going to be, um depending on the state, depending on the lender. Um, they're going to dictate to you whether or not you're gonna be able to do it as a second home or an investment property. My gut is that from what you're you're sharing with me. You will need the income from an investor. As buying it as an investment and California rules are a little bit tired than the rest of the nation. Because the home prices you can you'll probably be able to, um by an investment home or a second home for as little as 20% down. Uh, so I think that's that's certainly possible. What you don't want to do is say it's a second home when it's really an investment home. But since it's your if you're buying it with your son, you can buy it as a non occupant Khobar were you'll get credit for his income. So you you should be able to accomplish that. That that that strategy um you just have to be transparent with the lender of what your goals are. I'm not licensed in Vermont. But the rules are are pretty much the same nationwide because everyone underwrites the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Modular homes. Meaning is it a mobile home on a permanent foundation? Or is it on purely modular? If it's on the foundation and its like out in the boonies, because that's why it's only 119,000. Yeah, I'm trying to keep it under a certain amount that there are some older homes. Also that our regular homes and not modular, some wondering if I should keep on the hunt for he should keep looking for those Well over there have been times in the in the marketplace where getting a loan on a stick Pick a stick built house is easier than a a modular home. The fact that you're the home is on a permanent foundation makes it a little bit easier. But you don't have the universe of of lenders out there like you would if it was a stick built home, meaning, you know it's foundation made of wood, and it's permanently affixed to the Foundation, as opposed to being dropped on it. Um again, it's going to be a every lenders a little bit different. Um, they're going to underwrite to Fannie, Freddie, you may have to pay a premium. I e, a higher interest rate for the modular home. Oh, I don't necessarily know if I have an opinion one way or the other because there's certainly a lot of benefits to the modular homes. Um And when I When you say modular, I'm thinking mobile home, you little single, wider, double wide homes. But you know, there's a lot of great certainly here in the Bay Area. We've got blue homes. There are some great manufacturers of homes that get built together. It's just going to depend on the marketplace. You know, interest rates have gone up again. You're gonna might. You might see more flexibility on the part of the lenders as to what they're willing to do. It's going to be a, um, a give and take of it and then, But what I would encourage you to do is your son's going out looking at property. You guys need to get pre approved. Pre qualified to find out what your limitations are. There's the conventional route, and then there are those I want to. I'll call it because they're unfamiliar with it. The subprime market place the alternative marketplace where you may pay a higher interest rate, But you're going to have an easier time of qualifying. So knowing nothing about your financial situation based on you know, in terms of income. And what were the Villagers going to view? Uh, as what your qualifying numbers are that would start getting that part of the equation together because with your son only working part time, I'm assuming you have somewhat of a limited income you also have at Sense and reliability is here in California. The lender is going to take all that consideration and look at it, But there's going to be lenders out there for you. There's going to be private lenders we're going to be willing to make alone. Unlike the old days when rates are so low, No one wanted to really make loans. They slow things down. Because when you're lending that 3.5% cost of running a business is 3.5%. There was no incentive for them to lend. It made more having the money on in reserve getting paid by the Federal Reserve and it will actually make loans. So one of the chat hidden secrets of what was going on behind the scenes but great questions If you need advice, As you know, I'm a mortgage broker, real estate broker. I can give you some guidance. Unfortunately, I'm not license to speak to those particular areas of the country. But I do wish you the best luck. Great question. This is another example of of being creative. Whether it's a child or grandchild, Non non occupant co borrowers a great way to help your your your loved ones get a foreign in in the ground, so to speak. We have Finite universe, a finite planet I should say, and we are growing as a population base. Real estate will always be in demand. There's better times and worst times to buy real estate. But it's about being prepared and being prepared is Knowing the marketplace and what you want to buy in and then knowing what your financials look like for a lender very important that you get yourself preapproved and find out what your options are, because there will be some options. You may not like them or may motivate you to aspire to get your financial house in order in order to take advantage of the very best rates when we go to the phone.

Very heavy and slow route 85 past exit 82, then a lot of company most of the way from exit 75 to the SAG more bridge. The worst of that part is from exit 59 to the bridge, and now it's adding up to about 40 minutes. On Route three north on a heavy spot between route 14 and 1, 39 and then slow route 53 past 2 28.
