Robyn Pfaffman: Abrupt Events Surrounding Potential Trump Indictment

"Happening in New York. It's something's going on. They canceled the grand jury for the day. There's a lot of rumblings that things are taking a very bad turn for the DA and nobody really knows what's going on. What do you make of all this? Well, it's interesting. So Alvin Bragg, out of the blue, suddenly the indictment is on ice. Can you imagine the faces of the managers at the mainstream media in the newsroom when they learned this was in the last couple of hours that, oh, nothing's happening today. It's on ice again. We told all the grandeurs to sit down at home and not to come in. I mean, the faces on the managers of the libs that run the country's newsrooms. I could just literally see their faces because all they want to do is get Trump, get Trump, get Trump, you know, it almost reminds me Todd of like, remember back in the day like the hostage crisis, day one, day two, you know, Ted Koppel and nightline, day three is Trump going to be arrested in handcuffs. And it's interesting to me because I think Todd, you know, just off the top of my mind is I say to you all the time and to your audience, they don't understand Trump. This guy is in his late 70s. What is the 76, 78 somewhere in there? Trump has zero to lose. He's a millionaire. He's had his three wives is 5 kids, lost count on the grandkids. I think at last count there's ten. And then, you know, so it's like arrest me. I dare you. Just do it. And he's, you know, kind of called their bluff. I think he's just put a pin in their Goodyear blimp balloon and the whole thing has gone poof. It's very anti climatic. I really, really think it's one of these arrest me, I dare you. He's going the full queens on them. You

New Zombie Drugs--Made From Chinese Fentynal--Threaten Our Nation

"Getting to the news today, the head of the DEA is elaborating. On the drug trafficking triangle, aimed at America. China is making the raw materials, the ingredients for fentanyl. It is sending these ingredients to Mexico, and that is where the jalisco and Sinaloa cartels to massive and violent Mexican drug cartel operations, that is who gets it in traffic into the United States right across our very open southern border to eventually kill thousands of Americans tens of thousands of Americans and you know what? They're making a ton of money doing this. You hear what I'm saying. This is a massive business. China is sending this massive amount of fentanyl into our country and we are allowing it. We have not prepared to fight back. It's something that even the director of intelligence, Avril Haines, now admits, listen to her here when she's asked about whether or not we're really going to be able to get control of this fentanyl crisis. For myself in terms of the ode and I, our office of director of national intelligence, we have a national intelligence manager that covers this issue and a national intelligence officer. And one of the things I've learned in the two years that I've been there is that we do not have as deep a bench of analysts on these issues and we are not as therefore resourced as we need to be in order to really address this question. That's something that we've been building and that's something that we need to continue to build. So our government was caught by surprise, she was caught by surprise. Nobody realized what was really going on. Listen, I'll tell you a history repeats itself in the Chinese. They don't forget.

"John chapter 12 versus 24 and 25. Truly, truly, I say to you. Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. There's so much we could talk about in these two versus, but just meditate on this principle. If you want to live, you must die. Jesus makes that very clear, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit. The key to bearing fruit, the key to experiencing John ten ten abundant life is dying. Dean Cain on His Journey From Trailer Park to Princeton to Hollywood

"So dean, your life has been so fascinating. So I wanted to ask you a little bit about just kind of your journey before we talk about more of the news stuff. I saw that you spent some of your childhood in Michigan and then in California. And in high school, when you were in Santa Monica, you were excelling in sports, and you even played some baseball with Charlie Sheen and Rob Lowe. Is that correct? And what was that like? It's mostly correct. I grew up, so I grew up in I was born in Michigan, but I moved to California when I was three. My mom up and took off with her two kids. Her first husband was my biological father. It was not an ideal husband, was philandering and so she left and came out to LA to be an actress with two kids to the Asian kids. And we looked more on my given name as Tanaka. So she came out here with us too, and met and fell in love with my dad. Who she married a year later. And then through a really terrible story actually, a woman was raped and I believe killed in an apartment next to us or right near us. And then the next day myself and a couple other guys, my brother and another couple kids were out playing cops and robbers as they used to back in the day. And I was the youngest and so I wasn't able to have I didn't get to a gun. So I went looking for something and I found the real gun and it was apparently the weapon that was used and that day my dad borrowed, I don't ten, $12,000 from his parents in South Dakota and moved us to a trailer park in Malibu. And I grew up in a trailer park in Malibu, which sounds, you know, like trailer park. Yeah, but it was in Malibu. So we'd spend our days outside all day long on the beach, running around, and I grew up with kids like Sean Penn, Chris Penn Rob Lowe, Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, all those kids were just, we were all just part of this one little Malibu group. I guess all our parents were involved in the business, not all of them, but in some way or another. And so through this weird happenstance, those kids all ended up being actors. Now I played baseball Charlie for a long time. Rob, rob was never the great athlete. Rob even back in the elementary school was just all the girls loved him and he's so pretty. And he loved the girls back. So that was the that was the skinny and rob, so to speak. Charlie very good baseball player. Played on teams with him forever. And then went to high school, Santa Monica high school. And I was a good athlete student. It worked out real well for me. A lot of the kids are madly when they got to Santa Monica worked able to compete at that level, unfortunately. So a lot of the kids stopped playing sports, Charlie continued to play for a while. I don't even know what he did to seeing it if he played a scene here or not. And then I was lucky enough to with my grades and thank you to get the president of the university, had a wonderful career at Princeton. Grew up a lot turned into him and went from a boy to a man there and played very well. I played football. I mean, football ran track and I played volleyball. And then I got a chance to play for the Buffalo Bills afterward, which was great. And got hurt right away. And then it's been acting and directing and filmmaking ever since.

Why America's Navy Is No Longer Best in the Sea

"Back in America, as I said the most important thing. Not just to the Hugh Hewitt show audience, but to the world is that the communist Chinese party had Xi Jinping. The strong man, the totalitarian ruler of all of China, head of the Chinese Communist Party has been in Moscow for two days, meeting whether he calls his junior partner Putin, it reminds you of Hitler and Mussolini, if you know your history in 39 getting together, that's why I asked doctor Hendricks to come on today, Jerry Hendricks will be on an hour three to discuss his brand new essay in the Atlantic, which is really caught the attention of Washington D.C.. Because the Atlantic is the last magazine that many people read in America in hardcover copy form. And the title of the article is the age of American naval dominance is over. The subheading is the United States has seated the oceans to its enemies. We can no longer take freedom of the seas for granted. And this is sort of something I talk about a lot for the last, I don't know, ten years. When Donald Trump was running and promising a 355 ship navy, that didn't come about the biggest failure of the Trump years was the failure to get the shipyards expanded up and running, getting a navy plan. And the key facts that I'll be talking about with doctor hendrickson an hour three is that the United States had 6700 chips at sea at the end of World War II. By the end of Eisenhower administration, we were down to a thousand, which is consistent with the Cold War, and then it fell and fell and fell until regular arrived and rebuilt the navy to 590 ships that had the deterrent effect on the Soviet Union. It fell apart. And then in our wisdom, we thought the end of history had arrived and we are now at 271 ships afloat. And doctor Hendricks says, the complications of that, the implications of that are so profound that people don't even see the obvious in front of them. So I'm

Alvin Bragg Prefers Releasing Real Criminals to Commit Crimes Again

"And see a little bit of Tucker Carlson's reporting last night on what this really dastardly district attorney has been doing from day one when he became district attorney out of New York City. Even as Bragg has been single mindedly focused bragga graduate of Harvard college, on Donald Trump and his crimes sending money to a porn star, he has been not only ignoring real crimes, but downgrading felonies to misdemeanors and letting actual violent criminals out of jail as quickly as possible. On his first day in office, first day, Bragg consistent with the ideas of the man who paid for his campaign, George Soros issued a memo explaining his office will quote not seek a sentence except in cases involving homicides, economic crimes, and a small number of felonies. That was great news for people who commit violent felonies, including rapists like Justin Washington, Washington struck a deal with Bragg that allowed him to serve just 30 days in jail under the theory that his rape was really just second degree coercion. So he got out quickly and when he did police say this same man sexually attacked 5 other people in The Bronx. He even tried to rape a homeless woman at ten in the morning. Okay. So in another case, a career criminal who was arrested three times in four months for serious crimes, including assault and aggravated harassment, skipped court. And when police finally found him and hauled him to court, Bragg's Bragg's office let him go in January of last year. Guess what he did when he got out? He murdered a woman.

"The U.S. is speeding up its delivery of Abrams tanks to Ukraine. The original plan was to send newer versions of the Abrams, which could have taken a year or two to build and ship officials tell the AP The Pentagon will instead send a refurbished older model already in army stocks. They'll be easier for Ukrainian troops to learn to use and maintain, and could arrive in the war zone much sooner with the goal being 8 to ten months. Ukrainian leaders had been pushing for the Abrams, a battlefield workhorse for more than three decades. The Biden administration insisted for months the tanks were too complicated to maintain and repair, but then announced in January, it would send them. Sagar Meghani, Washington.

Oftentimes, as attorneys, we can get sucked into the idea that this is about wins and losses and begin to try to figure out who would win a case when often what's happening is a lawsuit serves its own purpose, either it moves you towards a settlement or in this case it has its own political implications as well. Just in the pursuit of understanding those political implications. On Tuesday, there will probably be photos of president Donald Trump in handcuffs. And that has its own political fallout. You also brought up the timeline. Even if Trump were to win, how long would that take? Because that then impacts his run for president. How is this not election interference? How is it not direct and complete election interference of Donald Trump running for the presidency? They don't care because the rules don't apply to them.

Spiritual Gifts From God

"We are talking today about gifts. We're talking about the things God has given you to help make him known in the world. And I know a lot of you are starting with me and you're just confused. You're like, I don't know if I have gifts. I don't think I do. And I just want to encourage you that if you are a follower of Christ, then the spirit has imparted gifts to you. He is giving you gifts. Every one of you. First Peter for ten through 11. As each person has received a gift, use it to serve one another. Each person has received a gift. This is what got promises, and you see throughout the scriptures in multiple places, the unique gifts that God gives. And they might be the same as your natural gifts that you had prior to becoming a Christian. You may have been great at art. You may have been great at communication prior to being saved, but you may have been given new gifts by the spirit once you were saved. In fact, biblically, I would say likely that is true. Now we all know that God knew before time who his children would be. So likely he put in you things that you were just good at and then the spirit comes and gives power to that and enhances that. Sometimes you get really tripped up on what are my natural abilities and one of my spiritual gifts. You know what? What makes them spiritual is that you use them for the glory of God.

Knowing the Shepherd's Voice

"John chapter ten first, 27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I love John ten. It is filled with such incredible imagery of Jesus as the good shepherd who lays down his life for the sheep and protects them, cares for them. Won't let anyone snatch them out of his hand and in verse 27, I love this picture of my sheep here, my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I think about a shepherd, I heard, share recently, his name is Daryl, and he was sharing about how he leads his sheep and they know his voice. He said, if anybody else were to come and call my sheep to do this or that, the sheep would not respond, but when he speaks they respond. This is what she do. They know the voice of the shepherd, and they follow him. Don't you want that to be true of your life today? Just think about today. We want this every day, but today that you would live, hearing his voice, him knowing you, and you following his voice. You know, it's interesting. I use the illustration sometimes of how obviously we don't know everything Jesus is leading us to do in a given day. Where to go eat if we're going out to eat or what to do in this or that moment. We don't have a word from God in the Bible about every detail of our day today, but that doesn't mean that his voice can't lead us, he's put his spirit inside of us in such a way that when we meditate on his word, that we do have, we study his word, we hide it in our heart. We're getting familiar with his voice so that as we make decisions during the day that we are familiar with the voice of Jesus, we're familiar with his spirit and how he leads us and so to live today, listening to his voice in his word and then following his voice as he leads us by his spirit according to his word.

Charlie Urges UC-Davis Students to Honor Their Parents

"Charlie. This is my name is Veronica. My question is this for folks who are wanting to try to rebuild a relationship with their families and peers. Those of whom which they may not be able to disagree with politically speaking and how can they establish a dialog and conversation like being able to talk about anything like politics COVID or events without feeling like they feel like they're going to have to force it upon them. That makes sense. Yeah, for family members, especially, or yeah. Especially, yes. Yeah, so look, this is a tough thing, right? Let's first talk with your parents about your parents. I'm a big believer in the biblical commandment of honoring your mother and father. 99.9% of the people in this room have no excuse not to honor your parents. I don't care if they don't share your politics. I don't care if they were nasty to you. If they were legitimately abusive in a very serious way, then yes, okay? But 99% of the time, people say, I just don't get along with them. I don't like them. If you can not honor your parents here on earth, then you will not be able to honor the eternal and divine father of which is much more important, by the way. It is a step and an intermediary to that. Secondly, with honoring your parents, it is the only one of the ten commandments that involves your nation and a promise. Honor your mother and father. So that you may live long in the land of which you are in. One of the reasons why America is falling apart is because we have decided to break this commandment and we are teaching children to no longer honor their parents. A nation that no longer honors their parents, you have a bunch of 17 year olds that think their parents are dumb and stupid and they do what they think is right in their own eyes and that creates a morally chaotic, miserable country very quickly. So I just talked about that on the parents. Do everything you possibly can to not allow divisive politics or different ideas to get in the way of your family relationships or your close relationships. You need to do that. Now, how many people here have family or close friends on the left that won't talk to you because your politics raise your hand. A lot of hands go up. That's unfortunate, that's tragic. Never do that with a leftist. You as a conservative have a moral obligation to even keep a relationship neutral or warm in one way, despite the difference in worldview.

"Is amazing as an avid listener of the fat. Burning man podcast. I've heard able talk about these for months now and wanted to give them a try because number one. I'm so bad about eating veggies and number two. I like to vote with my dollar and support businesses that i trust to actually look out for our nation's health instead of solely focusing on profits and those that are helping reversed the diabetes st crisis. I honestly expected this screen powder to taste terrible and bland to take it like a shot of whiskey. But i tried it and mix it in water and it is delicious seriously has been easy to drink this every day and i actually enjoy it. Thanks alison for making it. Easy for me to fit vegetables into my hectic style. Erin thank you so much for picking up this container future greens and i'm really glad that you like it and you don't have to take it like a shot of whiskey. I've been doing this for about ten years. We get sent products to try all the time. We've tried a lot of green powders and then you know alison. I also looked around and tried a bunch of different formulations and most of these green veggie and fruit powders taste like fish tank when you mix them up and drink odd. It's kinda worse than whiskey in some ways because at least whiskey.

Then i guess this is supposed to be some sort of lamborghini or something but the robot mode to me looks like jazz. So i don't know what the heck is supposed to be but that was also in a different color but it wasn't worth buying another one so i got that show. This is something about a while ago. And it's funny because it was posted on transformers artifacts group and nobody can identify where it came from the seller had about ten of them. And it's like a transfer. We're creating a generation of germaphobe I don't know if these kids will ever get over it man. No i don't either. You have a generation of white kids that that hates themselves for being white and is scared shitless of any germ very true or being close to people. Yeah that's another one that to me is the whole skin. Hunger thing the whole skin hunger. That's what that's there's something called skin hunger. It's it's like what's a disease but it's like result of not touching other humans enough so there's actually a pathology or a psychological condition. You just want to have og rain. So what they started for these people that live alone. Is they started these. Hug clubs where people would just come. That didn't know each other and they would hug each other and then they started these things where people would just cuddle wherever that. Yeah about ten years ago right us. Like you'd get some old dude and some old lady. Hey they don't wanna they don't wanna get funky. But just cuddly hug cutler shuttle together on the band they touch each other and they touch each other up and it says it's so obvious that we need to touch each other. It's so i round people. "Sitting on a show called comedians interviewing music. He'd be like shut up exactly have been. He goes back in time to alter everything so he doesn't have to do back this day. This is butterfly effect moment. Like we can't go back can't go there. We can't do it all costs. I would like to know like if you're young like is this. What your younger self thought you would be doing like like did younger. You want to be a scientist or you know like my younger self. Wanted to be a scientist and i feel like i probably would've thought current just like a really bad awkward nerdy fight but so you earn to ota wasn't blessed with these great looks for nothing years and years of systemic abuse. Yes younger me are honest. That thing up i i dream about being a pilot problem. Most kids playing going. I wanna fly. That and i've never been so And this is. I think growing up i always knew would be teaching capacity because everywhere i went. I started teaching and tutoring since i was in fourth grade so then ends the nerd even in high school from about ten grade. I was teaching classes while i was in school. And so they had to skip me few grades and then so through all of those. They'll be teaching so even as a singer or the songs i write is always teaching something we talked about this earlier. Like there's and comedian art musicians and comedians are storytellers. It's just the difference in whether they tell stories. It's interesting now like thinking of a teacher. Also being a storyteller there telling historical stories or they're teaching you facts or laws of math and science and that's we cracked learning some and share. It's going to be comedians and your viewing teachers interviewing musician. Cash we're going full g. rating lord fair enough. Are you guys ready to.

"It came to me in my sophomore junior year that after years in your science i fell out of love with it. I felt like i was going through the motions and i think that ideal of what silences. I think it was a time. Where after being in so many years of motion of science and science and science. I could finally take a pause a breather in realized that maybe this isn't the motion i want to pursue any further. So all that to say that in my junior sophomore year of college. I found out there was a college radio station on campus. That was looking for d. Days or radio host and you know what that sounds like fun. That sounds like something i can do. That's gonna get my mind off of you know metabolic syndrome research. And so. That's what i did and i've been doing it ever since i changed my career path from science to communication to broadcasting to radio. Podcast if you will. And i don't regret it. It's been about ten years now since i changed my life over into sound that way and i think it's been one of the best decisions i can make so in that moment of pivot in change from the science track into the world of communications. I'm imagining that. Perhaps it must be a moment of silence then to step back and reflect otherwise would have just continued on that track. If i would have continued on it probably would have worked out fine in the end. But i just remember my college years how. I felt an enormous amount of pressure an enormous amount of stress. I was literally on a hamster. Wheel is kept moving and moving and moving and not really having a moment to realize. This is what i want to do. Until i physically made myself stop and sit and have a bit of a cry over the fact that this wasn't what i wanted to do anymore. My parents were absolutely understanding of it. They wanted me to be happy and to do something..
