Federal Judge Strikes Down Mask Mandate for Planes and Public Transit

"Big announcement yesterday that came from nowhere. A federal judge here in Tampa, Florida, you're welcome, United States. You're welcome, Tampa Bay, delivering Tom Brady for another year. And a federal judge who ruled that the CDC has been breaking the law. That's an unlawful mean breaking the law. I think on lawful, I no law professor. I don't teach law students for 97 years. I haven't written 37 books on the law. I'm not a Supreme Court clerk. I get it. I just, I'm a big mouth on the radio, and when I see a judge's ruling that says that what the CDC had been doing regarding masks on planes and buses and trains now Uber is dropping there, mask requirement, so any of us who take Uber a lot, that's big news. She ruled that that mandate was unconstitutional was unlawful. Who's going to be held accountable for breaking the law? At the CDC, how does that work? How does the CDC how is the shady she allowed to commit unlawful acts?

The Most Important, Confusing Question: What Is a Woman?

"Leads to a question I want us all to ponder over tonight and think deeply about. And I love all of your opinions, which is the most important question that has really been confusing people, including the top levels of our government, which is what is a woman, right? And so I know this is so hard for some of us to grasp. I know I'm not a biologist, so I'm not really well versed to be able to answer these questions. Of course, for those of you that watch the Oscars and not funny enough, we'll get into that. So but don't watch anything that happens around you. Tangy Brown Jackson, woman that wants to, I think she's a woman. Who am I to say? I don't know. She will tell us. Because she doesn't know what a woman is. Trying to be on the U.S. Supreme Court was asked the question by Marshall Blackburn, very simple question, what can you define what a woman is? And she responded with this kind of smug arrogance. No, I can't. I'm not a biologist. So look, I'm not a veterinarian. I know a dog when I see one. I'm not a meteorologist. I know that there's a tornado yesterday at four 30 in the morning. Not exactly something that you need to have a degree in biology to be able to understand what a woman is. And it kind of got thinking as she was like so smug and she responded, which is, this has now become a wildly controversial thing in America. It's that if you're not even able to say, you know, this is a woman and this is a man. And what's so amazing about this is that 95 to 97% of the country agrees and biological reality and yet 95 to 97% of the country is afraid to talk about this issue.

How Relevant Is the Hunter Biden Story?

"Every book has a compound fracture in it. And since I read books closely, I always look for the compound fracture, and then I step on it, congressman, yours is on page one. Here's on page one 97, I quote. It's about Hunter Biden. When you talk, although I am convinced there was no truth to the salacious allegation Hunter Biden's emails themselves referencing his father were of public interest. Of course they were, but you don't believe any of the salacious allegations about Hunter Biden still well, first let me say how I took a pretty unpopular position. I did that before the election and saying that those things shouldn't have been censored that the idea even that the New York Post links were being taken down was wrong that in a robust First Amendment tradition like ours, people in the public sphere that their information should be public. And I didn't think that the personal life of Hunter Biden was relevant, but I thought that the information that in any way was about a President Biden was

Donald Trump Jr. Shares His Thoughts on Florida's Anti-Grooming Bill

"Don, I want to ask you about kind of what's happening right now coming into the midterm elections here. It looks as if Republicans are doing very well. Your state of Florida just signed a very, I would say non controversial bill, parental rights bill, you're the father of 5. I can't imagine that, you know, some of this opposition that you're seeing of having your 5 or 6 year old be exposed to some of these radical ideology is somehow controversial. Talk about Republicans going into the midterms and then talk about this, you know, what anti grooming bill that was passed into Florida signed into law by Ron DeSantis. Yeah, no, it's absolutely insane. And what's really interesting is, you know, they're running around. Don't say gay. You can't say gay in Florida. If you say gay, you're going to get arrested. You know, they're putting up billboards that say gay. I mean, their messaging is so stupid. You know, they've been able to get away with that because they're so few people calling them out. I think until the age of Trump, the Republicans just usually, they took the loss, you know, they get their butts handed to them. They take the law and hope that maybe the Democrats will be nice to them again next time. It's a little different now. You have people pushing back and the reality on that Bill is once parents see what's actually in it. Not the narrative, not what the wackos are trying to push. But once parents actually see what's in it, I think it was like something like 68% or something like even Democrats were in favor of the bill. I call it the don't groom my children Bill. Like, you know, four year old, 5 year old, 6 year old. They don't need to learn about the supposed 97 genders and how everything that like, let kids be kids. You know, I think that's my general thesis on all of these things. Let kids be kids. And if you really feel the need to teach it three year old about hyper sexualization and all sorts of, you know, whatever they may be, whatever you want to consider them, you know, maybe there's something wrong with you. Maybe there's a reason behind it because there's absolutely no reason to actually have to educate our children on these things.

How Much Energy Do We Need?

"Mark mills is a senior fellow again at the Manhattan institute. We're headed toward an exciting all renewable energy future. Wind and solar will power the world of tomorrow. And tomorrow isn't far off. It's time to wake up. You're having a dream. Here's the reality. Oil, natural gas, and coal provide 84% of all the world's energy. That's down just two percentage points from 20 years ago. An oil still powers nearly 97% of all global transportation. Contrary to headlines claiming that we're rapidly transitioning away from fossil fuels. It's just not happening. Two decades and $5 trillion of governments investing in green energy and we've barely moved the needle.

It's Important to Understand Russia's Annexation of Crimea...

"It's important to understand the historic context. Of Russia's annexation with Crimea of Crimea. In the differences, it's not the same thing I get it. I know Crimea isn't the same as Ukraine. And but what is oftentimes not reported very much about Crimea is how I think something like 97% of crimeans wanted to be part of Russia. So there wasn't the resistance from crimeans that there is by Ukrainians. Second of all, which I find very interesting, there's no real super majority of Ukrainians who are unwilling to be absorbed by Russia. It kind of depends I understand on what part of Ukraine we're talking about. There are parts of Ukraine where a pretty wide swath of people are absolutely fine with being Russian. So you've got to pro Russian, again, that's never reported because we all have got to have people with white hats and black hats. We've got to have all you know the old often use expression, it's complicated. This is complicated.

Larry Taunton Shares His Personal Perspective on Ukraine

"Us. Larry Alex taunt and my friend welcome. How are you? I've seen from your Twitter feed. You've been all over. Yes, I really have been all over. But one thing that I have to say before I ask you your thoughts is that the only main statement with regard to the Ukraine is that what we might call the deep state or the Obama people, almost worked hard to bring about this crisis. And so now we find ourselves in this crisis with a unprecedentedly inept leader in the executive and people say, what can we do? What can we do? Well, the first thing you have to say is what might we have done, but here we are. So you spend some time in the Ukraine, you're adopted daughter who just got married, grew up in the Ukraine. What is your perspective? You know, it's interesting here I come when I was pursuing graduate degrees and Russian history and European history of Marxism, people told me then. This was post collapse of the Soviet Union. This was by a 92 93 94 through 97. And people told me it was complete waste of time. And here we are. And suddenly it feels so very, very relevant. You know, I have several thoughts of regarding this, Eric. First of all, I would just want to say to people to be careful of a media narrative that that sets up Ukraine as this mantle of freedom. I'm not taking a side with Russia. It seems to say anything critically about Ukraine is to be perceived as being pro put. And I'm most definitely not Putin. But two things can be true here. And those two things are that both of these countries have a shared history of violence, often against each other. And they are both deeply, deeply corrupt.

How Should the US Respond to Russia's Invasion of Ukraine?

"Hi Charlie, my name is Arjun from Virginia. Two questions. What should the United States do to respond to the invasion and will the Russian invasion and rumors of China invading Taiwan cause World War three? I'm really kind of tired of the World War three thing. Offense to the question is just kind of overdone and it's a little bit. I think over exaggerated. So what should the United States do? We should rebuild our own strength. Unshackled the United States energy. Here's the thing. Republicans should not give quorum on the United States Senate until we get some concessions to, let's say, on sanction the American energy machine. We are sanctioning ourselves. We're putting restrictions on our own. American energy capacity. Every single day. We're making it harder for us to be able to explore oil and natural gas. Why? Because of ideology. Actually, that's what Alexander Schultz needs and said before the fall of the Soviet Union. Thanks to ideology. That all of this happens.

DOJ Shuts Down China-Focused Anti-Espionage Program

"Charlie, just found out that the Biden Department of Justice ended a Trump era program designed to target Chinese spies infiltrating our universities. They said it made universities less competitive. Why did they do this? I'm so angry right now and I need you to explain to me why they would do this. Do they intentionally want China to spy on us? Politico dot com Department of Justice shuts down China focused anti espionage program. The China initiative is being cast aside largely because of perceptions that unfairly painted Chinese Americans and U.S. residents of China, origins as disloyal. The Biden administration is shutting down a Justice Department program that focused on countering Chinese espionage. Following stumbling in a series of criminal cases and accusations that it accounted that amounted to racial profiling. Officials said Wednesday that the three year effort, known as the China initiative, was being cast aside because of perception that is unfairly painted Chinese Americans. Okay, let me ask you a question. How could you possibly counter Chinese espionage? Without going after Chinese Americans, or Chinese people. It's impossible. It's by definition, you have to profile Chinese people. It's a counter effort of the Chinese Communist Party. It's not even a, it's not about race, by the way. It's about nationality. It's about a counter espionage network. I'm going to say this as nicely as I can. Nicaraguans are not trying to infiltrate the United States university system. They should racial profiling. Well, no, it's a countermeasure. So let me get this straight. If China dropped bombs on America or I don't know, released a virus on the entire world that resulted in over 750,000 deaths and dare I say needless deaths, many of them, an entire lockdown craze in all of this and we're like, you know, what actually the problem with holding China accountable is you might profile Chinese people as being held accountable.

Who Is Ketanji Brown Jackson? A Closer Look at Biden's SCOTUS Nominee

"Alex from Ohio says Charlie, can you explain or elaborate on Joe Biden's Supreme Court pick? So in the midst of all this, as Ukraine is being invaded and we've spent a considerable amount of warranted time on that, by the way, there's a lot happening in our own country that we can not and should not lose sight of. So Joe Biden in the midst of all this suspiciously decides that just announce his Supreme Court pick while all this is happening. And so it is a woman in black woman as he promised by the name of catan G Brown, Jackson. And so far, there are many people that are very happy about this. On the left, the Fox News dot com article says katangi Brown Jackson's nomination to the Supreme Court delights progressives. She was a public defender, and we're diving into her background. She's described as a rather progressive individual. We don't have a lot of evidence to show that yet, I'm sure it's there, but the media is not really diving into her, but I guarantee you in the next coming days and weeks, there will be oppo dump after oppo dump of everything that she has said before. But here's a couple right here. In 2019, she used the Russian collusion hoax as an excuse to justify mandating that former White House counsel Don McCann testify before the House judiciary committee. More than two decades ago, Breyer apprenticed that Breyer pendas penned an amicus brief for the national abortion rights league, Nero, and other organizations that killed babies in the womb. In support of a Democrat backed law that prevented pro life protesters from congregating outside abortion facilities. Continues, Cory bush, who is a radical anti American leftist from Missouri, says this quote 233 years. That's how long we have waited to have a black woman nominated the Supreme Court. Judge katangi Brown, Jackson is a form of public defender with a record of standing up for justice. There are no words to describe how my soul is moved by witnessing her nomination. Now let's just stop here. First of all, what is a woman? I want to ask Cory bush, what is a woman? Why does it matter? I thought womanhood is complete, according to Cory book, men can become pregnant. The same people that are celebrating Brown Jackson coming to the Supreme Court should remind themselves that clarence Thomas is also on the Supreme Court, one of only two black men if I remember correctly, two black men ever to serve on the United States Supreme Court yet it's complete silence from the left on that interesting.

"Joe Biden did this bizarre Christmas message where he was trying to explain why things aren't happening the way they should, and he goes in this tangent, this meandering direction saying, well, it's because of QAnon and the extreme elements of the Republican Party. And Donald Trump, feeding the big lie for breakdown of friendly relationships between Republican and Democrat lawmakers. Play cut 6. I did Bob Dole's eulogy today. And there's still insist except that the QAnon and the extreme elements and Republican Party and what Donald Trump keeps sort of seems to me feeding the big lie. It makes it awful hard. And I think most Republicans, there's no thought of Republican Congress, I think would agree. It's a very important quote because basically what Biden is saying is, why is it that I can't get along with establishment Republicans like I did when Bob Dole was in office. And the reason is very clear it's because Republicans hoodwinked their voters and were perfectly fine doing deals with charlatans like you, Joe Biden. Set Republican parties have the Republican Party, at least the base of the party, we're awake now and has nothing to do with QAnon, whatever that is or the big lie. No, it has to do with, you know what? We're not okay with the adventurous endless wars in countries we can't pinpoint on a map. Let's start out in the Baltimore Washington Parkway, South bound, seeing delays trying to head past 3 50 on the D. C to 95. This is where the crashes along the right side Also South bound before this near 4 50. There was an earlier wreck along the left side on the Baltimore Washington Parkway. North bound the ramp to the inner loop is now blocked for the crash. Also in Glen Burnie north about 97 nearly 100 the crash along the right side, it was coming from West bound $100. Outer loop near Kendall. Worth Avenue was the crash involving an overturned vehicle, but not really seeing a backup. No major delays on the Beltway inner and outer Running well through both Maryland and Virginia in the district along I 2 95, No reported problems between the 11th Street Bridge in the Beltway, The Southeast Southwest Freeway remains in good shape and everything on New York Avenue near Fourth Street Northeast is cleared. So New York Avenue, also in good shape in both directions. In Virginia. The HIV restrictions lifted throughout Virginia, of course because of the holiday. Also remember your Express Lane, South bound 3, 95 and 95 pointed in the South bound direction all day. This traffic report sponsored by Burke and Herbert Bank, where your business means everything.
